Review: This was such a good read!!! They live in a hell hole and basically find solace in each other and it's just so good. I recommend this a lot! Do look up the trigger warnings for this.

Review: I have so many thoughts about this manga! It's doomed yuri and has horror elements! The characters are also very well written! I highly recommend this! However I do recommend looking up the trigger warnings before reading this.

If We Leave on the Dot by Ayu Inui
Summary: Yukawa comes into the office and always hangs up her coat on the rack; most others just sling it over their chairs. That may be because Yukawa is proper, but maybe because she loves receiving handwritten notes from her coworker Mizuki. Until recently, Yukawa only knew Mizuki and her sweet vanilla scent from afar, but one day she was able to befriend her after a mix up with their coats. Since then, Mizuki communicates with Yukawa and asks her to go out after work via pen, paper, and coat. They never make plans ahead of time, nor do they even know each other's phone numbers. As Yukawa navigates her feelings and learns more about Mizuki, will their relationship blossom into more than whatever it is right now?
Review: This was soo adorable! It's an office GL. It's very wholesome. They communicate a whole lot and they start dating very early on so there's lots of dating content!

Kurai Mori, Shiroi Michi by Chiyu Yoshida

Mizuiro Cinema by Hiyori Otsu
Status: Completed
Summary: Aqua Blue Cinema is about an actress and a girl she meets through unusual circumstances.
i've finished reading yuki and the authoress! it's a short yuri manga about a young girl, working as a waitress in a cafe, and a famous romance novels' authoress. i loved the style and the pacing (except the last two chapters, these were too rushed imo), it's also very cute, but at the same time takes the characters and the historical setting seriously.
Her Tale of Shim Chong - probably my favorite modern GL, a fairly dark take on a Korean folktale
Sadistic Beauty Side Story A - shockingly good spin off of a het femdom series. Romantic comedy between two college students with strong personalities. Great balance between smut and romance. Includes BDSM but nothing particularly intense
Renai Idenshi XX - set in a magic academy in an omega-verse like world where men are extinct. All the main characters wear suits iirc and it's arguably butchxbutch which is nice to see.
Your Scent is a Little Sweet - actual lesbian omegaverse, only 20-ish chapters translated so far but it looks promising
Run Away With Me Girl - a woman reconnects with her highschool girlfriend 10 years later and finds out she's engaged to a man, angsty but with a touching payoff at the end
My Princess Charming - very cliche fake dating to real romance story but with lesbians, pretty cute
Best Served Cold - a lonely housewife develops a crush on her hot new neighbor, but is unaware that every move the neighbor makes is part of a careful plan to ruin her and her husband's lives. Toxic, dramatic and soapy.
On a Leash - toxic relationship between two military officers that transform into animals.
Kill Me Now - a girl becomes attracted to the assassin that killed her parents that is also her foster mother
Yuki and the Authoress - cute romance in 1920s Japan, really pretty art
What Does the Fox Say - dramatic love triangle between three women, modern setting, smut with great art
Love Thy Neighbor - modern psychological drama. One of the leads is in her 20s and the other is a much older butch.
Goodbye My Rose garden - bittersweet historical romance between a lady and her maid, set in Victorian England
Black and White (Sal Jiang) - office comedy, enemies to enemies that have sex
I may add more to this list later, this is just whatever stood out to me based on what I've read in the last few years. I tried to pick stories with very different vibes and tropes from each other, and all of these are about adult women except for Renai Idenshi. Thanks to @magnetictapedatastorage for inspiring me to type this up!
For this Femslash February, let’s start by talking about Nagori Yuu, a yuri artist who usually post their work on twitter and pixiv.
They have mostly written short stories within historical or fantasy settings and have a preference for ships with a bit of a gap in age and/or personality: usually with a cheery, optimistic girl and a more mature love interest that has a complicated past or background. Nagori’s artstyle is pretty simple but expressive, with a nice old-school feel.
To give a few examples of their work: one of their popular short stories follows a female ninja protecting a princess upon the defeat of their clan and destruction of its castle.
Nagori Yuu has also played with the “romantic harem” genre a bit, like in this series about a group of witches.
I quite like this short story of maid working for a witch, with the little twist that the maid was actually raised by a church training her to kill witches, following the death of her parents. Sadly, there’s not that much content outside of the initial set-up, so we only see the beginning of what could be a developping relationship. This can also be said for quite a few of their other works.
Mostly publishing online for free, the comics stay on the very short side (under or around 20 pages), which can be frustrating if you’re looking for something that digs deeper into character development and relationships. If you’re fine with a variety of bite-sized little femslashy treats and like their style though, it’s really enjoyable! I’ve linked to their accounts, which are in Japanese, but you can also find translations of their work online if you search for it.
They do have one nicely concluded manga (pictures featured above) that’s a bit longer and is available for purchase digitally, in two volumes: Joryusakka To Yuki, or Yuki and the Authoress. It’s the story of a little book-loving cafe worker who gets the chance to meet her favorite author after she starts spending time at her cafe to write.
As some of you may know, I’m The Evil Authoress, also know as Meda Princess on some platforms.
I’ve been watching YGO since 2006 and GX is easily my favorite.
So, funny story. I almost didn’t watch GX cuz I’d only recently gotten access to DM (family didn’t have internet at the time), and I wasn’t interested in watching a show that wasn’t about the characters I already knew and loved. This was very poor judgment on my part. It was at book fair in 6th grade I think that I found a Pojo magazine about Yu-Gi-Oh and bought it. Featured was a synopsis of GX season 1 and I was HOOKED. I immediately tracked it down to watch it, and I was in LOVE.
I personally rank the seasons with 3 as my favorite (JESSE <3), followed by 1, then 2, then 4. Season 4 was the first time I ever watched YGO subbed, and lemme tell you, going straight from S3 dubbed to S4 subbed is like being hit the face with a sack of bricks (the loss of Jesse’s southern accent kills me ;-;). Beyond all that, S4 and I have issues, most of which I covered in “Pass The Salt”.
BTW, hate on 4kids all you want, yeah they ain’t great, but most days I still prefer the dub.
My favorite characters have always been Johan/Jesse Anderson (sexy boi <3) and Judai/Jaden Yuki (Jaden is my spirit animal), but honestly the cast is full of so many great characters with untapped potential. The fanfic possibilities are ENDLESS. *o*

NOTE: Yuki and the Authoress has mentions of suicide and depictions of homophobia & misogyny. To Die in June raises some red flags regarding Japanese imperialism for me. It also depicts war, death, and misogyny, as well as some sexual content.
