🎬 Yui spent her entire life waiting.

🎬 Constantly tapping her heel on the floorboards, awaiting a the clocks hand ticked again, and again, and again. The seconds going by slow, the minutes; even slower. Blinks of battered lashes became strenuous, and nails grazed clenched palms, threatening to bruise.

🎬 Her breath would stiffen, her body; host an unmarked tremble. She’d been used to the cold nights, and the even colder times spent alone. Waiting. Waiting for her father, the nuns, someone to pay her any mind.

🎬 Yui couldn’t tell how long had passed, her thoughts and visions consumed with seeing one fated man. Like a predator stalking its prey, she sat in anticipation.

🎬 Food was prepared, the table was set. Warmth dulled down to cool and cold as a hesitant smile stayed plastered upon her face.

🎬 She waited. Until the girl was far too tired to continue. And despite it all, with her eyes threatening to close shut, her tapping becoming slowed, and her fists unclenching by the second, she sat with her sulking posture up against the wooden chair.

🎬 With a slight prayer, her hands would clasp in front of her in a desperate plea. Like a proud and obedient devotee, never could she understand why her god dejected her cries, ignored her woes, laughed at her misfortunate sorrows.

🎬 But like most nights, her routine stayed firm. She uttered words, familiar on the tongue, scratchy on the throat. Yui knew it all too well, now having memorized it.

🎬 It was a simple request, not too much to ask for, she’d insist. But overbearing at best, when presented with a man dressed in saintly robes and silks.

🎬 “God… if you are again listening, you know by now who I am.”

🎬 A pause, a stifled whimper, an inhale of the nose; a sniffle, if you will.

🎬 “Please…! For once… allow father to stay for dinner.”

🎬 That’s all she ever wanted, something so mundane, so simple. Yui didn’t like to be alone. But that’s all she’s ever known. So for every night she stayed awake, sacrificing her sleep and patience, she prayed that she wouldn’t have to eat alone. Just like all the nights and years before.

🎬 Blonde curls get lost in clasped hands, “For once…” Tears now threatening to fall, her prayer now being lost to the world.

🎬 So as the clock strike close to midnight, the food long cold and mouldable mush, the blonde waited. Never to be met with her fathers gaze, or the warmth he dare steal from her soul.

🎬 She waited. Just as every other night and the nights before that, hoping for an instance that her father would one day pause, reset his clock, and sit across from her at the dinner table.

🎬 Her father cared in his own way, however despite her constant go lucky, faithful facade, it could never mend her broken heart, and the nights she stayed up crying herself to sleep.

🎬 Yui had a stuffed bunny from when she was younger. It was battered up and tearing at the seams, but it was the closest she had to a friend. Something to confide in when she found herself losing faith in herself and the world around her.

🎬 The bunny represented innocence and fragility, terms that she found was associated with her far too much.

🎬 Only when she would come into contact again with her father after the vampiric houses, would she realize it held merit.

🎬 Yui was replaceable, but yet considered to be an integral piece of the puzzle, the queen on the forgotten chess board.

🎬 How was it that her ideologies up until now had been nothing but falsities fed to her with a wooden spoon?

🎬 She was raised to be cattle, the sacrificial lamb.

🎬 To be pure, docile, subservient, and above all, obedient.

🎬 It was unfortunate that she hadn’t been taught anything other than being a good obedient housewife, a trophy wife, a placeholder to make the man a true man.

🎬 When Yui was gifted her rosary, she vowed to never swap it out. Not only for it serving as a true devotion towards her Catholic faith, but towards her fathers subtle care.

🎬 She likes to look at the moon, for it held opportunities like no other.

🎬 She always wondered who else was watching the same moon, perhaps in a different area, and what their life and normal entailed.

🎬 Yui used to cry when watching the moon, finding small tears stray down her cheeks and hit the floor.

🎬 Perhaps it was the fact that subconsciously, she knew that she was trapped. Until someone would tug her free.

🎬 She has a bad habit of picking at her skin, and clawing at the wounds in her nails and nail beds.

🎬 This normally occurs when she’s stressed, taken from her undiagnosed anxiety, and the meds she so desperately needs, but will never have the chance of taking.

Angel and Devil: This series is a trilogy. The first book has been released. And the second and third books will be published before Christmas.

Diabolik lovers Series: This series is my biggest project and it is supposed to be the most similar to the game but in a better way. This series is going to narrate Yui's life in the church during her childhood and her memories with Diaboys and her life after all the games. In this series, my effort is to keep the main plot of the story with minimal changes and to tell the story with fewer flaws and more interesting plots. In this story, Yui's family is introduced with my own headcanons. This series can be introduced as AU to some extent, but not completely because I am not going to change the main plot, I just want to make it better and tell the continuation of the story with a better ending. This series will be released after the completion of the Angel and Devil trilogy and will include 20 books (15 main and 5 spin-offs). You can read this post for more information.

"That looks horrible on you." I bluntly say to her, I'm lying of course, she was the most beautiful girl in the entire world, and demon world but I will never confess that to her. She looks at me and frowns, I enjoyed that frown. "What's wrong with it?" She questioned, which caused me to smirk at her slightly, I let out a chuckle before saying "Nothing, I just prefer you with little to no clothing at all." This causes her to blush, her eyes widen and her vision revert to the floor. My hand shoots up to grab her delicate face, I could crush it so easily, I lift her head up and look right at her with my cold eyes, this beautiful girl..she's all mine, I wouldn't give her to nobody, I'd do unspeakable things for her. She pulls her face away and pushes me back. "No Shu..We can't, I can't keep making this mistake over and over again..you left me when I needed you most..you hurt me in so many ways.." she goes on saying, and the memories of that night came flooding back to me.

We were arguing again over this plan to leave the mansion and be together in the demon world, I told her I would not be able to protect her from all the creatures, assassins and my brothers wraiths..I didn't want to deal with that responsibility or even that loss..so I decided that night to let her go..well I tried to, truly did but it was impossible for me, every part of me yearned for her, and wanted to be next to her, I avoided her as long as I could. But for some reason I still thought of her, what she was doing…who she was with..her scent was always fresh in my nostrils as well, no matter how long I went without seeing her…her scent lingered. “You’re breaking up with me??” She looked at me with so much sorrow in her eyes. I remember how she wept and begged for me to reconsider, her begging honestly annoyed me, I just wanted to get this over with..thinking back I was rather harsh, she genuinely loved and cared for me but I threw it all away because I wasn’t ready to take responsibility for her..I wasn’t ready to be the man for her.

“Shu I don’t want to be with you…I can’t” she says snapping me out of my head. Honestly upsetting me greatly but I guess that’s deserved. “Yes you can..and you will” I whisper to her before lightly kissing her neck, “you’re still mine” I say as I greedily suckle on her skin, my fangs grazing her flesh then piercing it. I missed this delicious blood. She cries out at first then moans into it, panting out for me to stop hurting her, I cover her mouth with one hand and use my other hand to grope her butt, going lower I begin stroking her sensitive spot, she was whimpering at this point, begging for me to leave her alone, I didn’t want to…

Cursed Family Fate

She was a girl who went through everything for his love. She gave up her life, her pride, her feelings and her dignity just because of his love. But did this also apply to him? Was he ready to forget the past and look to the future? Was he ready to put the bad memories behind him and forgive himself?

Yui and Ruki had started a new life with their son. Or rather, the son of Yui and Shin. Adam was a lively and kind boy. He loved his mother and admired his father. He loved his family more than the whole world and was never willing to be separated from them.

Several years had passed since Adam was born. Ruki and Yui are waiting for the birth of their new child. While sitting on the sofa and Adam resting his head on his mother's lap, Yui softly sings a lullaby to his beloved son.

Adam: Mom... do you think I'm going to have a sister or a brother?

Yui: Fufu... I don't know. It is still too early to speculate.

Adam: But I would like to have a little brother to teach him how to be strong and take care of you.

Yui caressed Adam's head and kissed his hair, which was a beautiful reflection of her own hair. Adam smelled of life. He was a divine gift for Yui who made her happy again. Adam was Yui's whole life.

Adam: Mom... I love you so much. I love you more than anything in the world. I promise to take care of you until the end of my life.

Yui: Adam... you are the light of my life. I love you too.

Yui hugged Adam and gently caressed Adam while whispering her lullaby in his ear. She smelled Adam. Adam gave Yui a sense of life. While the mother and son were hugging each other, Ruki entered the living room and saw them. He smiled softly and came to Adam and stroked his head.

Ruki: Adam, you better go to sleep.

Adam: Dad, please... Mom and I are talking to my little brother.

Ruki: Little brother?

Adam: Yeah, I'm sure I'm going to have a little brother.

Yui: Fufu... Adam, it's too early to tell.

Ruki: Anyway, it's too late now, Adam. Hurry up, go to your room and sleep.

Adam puffed his cheeks in protest, but Ruki looked at him seriously. Ruki's serious look made Adam stop protesting and go to his room. After kissing his mother's cheek, he slowly left the living room and went to his room.

After Adam left the living room, Ruki walked over to Yui and sat next to her, caressing her shoulder and gently kissing her forehead.

Ruki: Yui, how are you? Do you have pain?

Yui: Fufu... no Ruki. I am completely fine. Honestly, I feel very good. A new member is going to be added to our family. I can't wait for this little one to bring us joy like Aram.

Ruki smiled softly. He put his hand on Yui's belly and stroked it. He also felt happy. He was very happy that he was going to experience fatherhood again. As much as he felt this feeling was more real than the feeling he had at the time of Adam.

Ruki: I'm happy too, Yui. I have never felt the feeling I have now.

After everything they had been through, hearing this gave Yui hope. She always thought that Ruki hated her. Or he feels ashamed of raising a son who is not his real son. But it was not like that. Ruki loved Adam like his own son. And he was never angry with Yui.

Yui: Ruki... can you make me a promise?

Ruki: What do you mean?

Yui: Ruki, I want you to love both of our children equally. Please... ummm... love them both... that our children are going to be different... it's not their fault at all... it's all... it's all my fault... me...

Before Yui finished speaking, Ruki hugged Yui tightly. He stroked her back and did not allow her to speak anymore.

Ruki: Shhh... Yui, calm down. Nothing was your fault. You did it to save me. The fact that I am alive and breathing today is only because of you

Yui couldn't help herself and tears flowed from her eyes. Ruki's arms were always the warmest and safest place in the world for her. It was the purest feeling in the world and she could never deny her feelings to Ruki.

Yui: Ruki... I... thank you... *Sob*... for accepting me and Adam as your family. You... could have a new family... but...

Ruki stroked Yui's back again to calm her down. He interrupted Yui again and did not let her continue. He wiped the tears from her eyes with his finger and kissed Yui's cheek.

Ruki: You and Adam and our new baby are my only family. I will love you three more than anyone else. I promise you

Yui: Do you promise? To always stay with us.

Ruki bent down and kissed Yui's forehead.

Ruki: I promise. I will stay with you forever and take care of this family.

*TIMESKIP*

The sound of happy laughter could be heard everywhere in the mansion. The sound of laughter of two lively boys who were all running and playing together.

Adam: Asahi, be quick. You are too slow.

Asahi: Adam... wait... I can't run.

Adam stood up and walked over to his younger brother. Asahi gasped and tried to breathe again.

Asahi: Adam, you are very fast and strong. How can you be so fast?

Adam: Hahaha I know. Mom says I am naturally strong. She told me before that my blood is so strong that it allows me to take care of anyone else.

Asahi: I wish I was like you, Onii-chan.

Adam grinned and stroked his brother's head to comfort him.

Adam: I always protect you, little brother. I am strong, so I promise to take care of you.

Asahi: Onii-chan, why are you stronger than me? Because you look like mom?

Adam: What?

Asahai: Uncle Azusa says my face looks like dad and your face looks like mom. Is that why you are stronger? Does that mean our father is not strong?

Adam: Of course he is strong. Our father is the strongest of all. I am sure you will be strong one day, Asahi. You also caught mom's eyes, so you are like her somehow.

The little boy smiled softly at his brother. His sweet words made him feel good. This was one of the rarest days when the two brothers could easily play with each other without the presence of their father. Without being afraid of the father.

Asahi: Oh, let's go back home. If papa comes back and sees us playing, he might get angry.

Hearing Asahi's words, Adam frowned.

Adam: No... He always only gets angry with me, not with you. So you don't have to worry. Let's play again.

As the two children were playing, they heard a faint voice from their mother. From a distance, they saw Yui, who could hardly move due to her illness, waving to them.

Hearing their mother's voice, Adam and Asahi quickly ran towards their mother.

Adam: Mom, why did you leave the house? You should rest.

Yui: I'm fine.... Adam... *cough*... *cough*... Asahi... go home now.

Asahi: Mom, we were just playing.

Yui: Ruki is coming back... you should be studying... *cough*... he might get angry.

Adam: Ahhhhh.. again papa... he's so boring.

Yui couldn't breathe. While she was barely standing on her feet, she coughed and fell on the ground. She was pressing her chest hard to breathe. Seeing this scene, Adam worriedly ran to his mother and held her hand.

Adam: Mom... Mom... are you okay? I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I won't hurt you again, I promise. Please calm down and breathe. Asahi, please go quickly and get a glass of water for mom.

Asahi hurried into the house to get Yui some water.

Yui: Adam... listen...

Adam: I'm sorry mom. Please calm down, I promise I will go and study.

Adam knew. That his mother's health condition was getting worse every day and he knew that he should not worry her. His mother needed rest to recover. While Adam was trying to calm his mother down, Asahi returned with a glass of water. Yui drank the water and calmed down a bit.

Yui had not finished talking when Ruki's voice was heard. He seemed to have returned home. Seeing Yui and Adam, Ruki came towards them.

Ruki: Yui, what are you doing here? You must rest now.

Yui: I know Ruki... I just...

Ruki: Adam, is it your fault again? Why are you making so much trouble?

Adam: I... I didn't do anything...

Yui: No Ruki, it's not his fault... *cough*...I wasn't feeling well, Adam was helping me... *cough*...

Ruki walked over to Yui and picked her up.

Ruki: Enough. You go back and rest, and Adam, go back to your room. I will talk to you later. I do not accept any excuses.

Ruki took Yui to his room. Yui could barely breathe. She kept coughing. Ruki went to the room and put Yui on her bed.

Ruki: Yui, don't get out of bed again. This will only cause you trouble. I take care of my son myself.

Yui: Ruki... our sons... we have two sons...

Ruki stood up without another word and went to the door of the room. He turned and gave Yui a serious look.

Ruki: Do not leave the room without my permission.

And he left the room without another word. Yui has been suffering from an incurable disease for almost a year. When she gets nervous, she can hardly breathe. The doctor had advised her that she needed to rest to recover. But the recent events haven't given Yui even a little peace and she keeps getting worse and worse.

Rukie's behavior has changed a lot. He blames Adam for every little thing. And he is not as kind to him as before. Maybe it's because if Adam gets older as a founder, his power will become more uncontrollable, which worries Ruki. But Yui knows that's not the only reason. And Ruki's behavior with Adam makes Yui more nervous every day. And with this situation, it has become impossible for her to recover.

After leaving his room, Ruki went to Adam's room. He was angry for no reason. Even he didn't know why he was just angry. Maybe he hadn't put his past behind yet and only blamed Adam.

Ruki angrily opened the door of Adam's room and went inside, looking at Adam with a pitiful look. Adam looked at his father with surprise and without knowing what the matter was.

Adam: Papa... what's the problem...

*slap*

A hard slap hit Adam in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The little boy looked at his father with surprise and fear. He put his hand on his reddened lip. He was so scared that he might cry at any moment.

Adam: Papa...

Ruki: Shut up...don't call me that name. You pathetic founder. You were the one who brought this disaster to Yui and me. You ruined our life.

Adam: ...

Adam was speechless. He couldn't even say a word, just looked at his father in fear. Tears flowed from his eyes. Was he really looking at his father? The same father used to hug him when he was little and sleep next to him at night.

Ruki looked at Adam with hatred. He grinned and took out the knife he had hidden in his clothes.

Adam: Papa... what are you doing?

Ruki: Shut up... I told you not to call me by that name. I am not your father. That stupid founder is your father. The same person who destroyed my life.

Adam was scared and just cried. He wanted to run but his legs were immobilized by fear.

Ruki: Heh... I am now doing what I had to finish that night.

Adam: Asahi was right...

Ruki: ...

Adam: He was right. You are neither strong nor brave. You are coward you are weak Mom fought her illness all this time for the sake of her family. But you are the cause of her illness. Because you couldn't be as strong as her.

Ruki: Shut up... you idiot... don't you understand that you are the cause of all this misery? This would not have happened if you were never born. I am now doing this favor for myself and my family and I am sending you to the hell of your family.

Ruki walked up to Adam and pointed the knife at his stomach and quickly stabbed him. But everything happened in a quick moment. Adam was supposed to be facing him. But why? Why the bright eyes that always looked at him with love are facing him. For a moment he thought he was looking into Adam's eyes. But those eyes lost their sparkle. Those eyes were not Adam's eyes. It was Yui's eyes.

Yui had shielded herself from Adam. Her bright eyes were soulless now. There was no more sparkles and tears had flowed from her eyes.

Yui: Why???..... Why?.... Didn't you promise.... to take care of our family... Ruki... Why.... did you?

Yui's lifeless body fell to the ground. Blood was flowing from her body. Adam was shocked and looked at his mother's lifeless body with tears in his eyes.

Ruki: Yui...

Ruki dropped the knife on the ground and ran to Yui and hugged her. He rested his head on Yui's heart. But he doesn't hear her heartbeat. The heart that always made him happy and gave him a smile is now silent and lifeless.

Ruki: Yui.... my angel... please... *sob*... please wake up....

Tears welled up in Ruki's eyes. Adam was speechless. He could not say anything. He was scared and only looked at the lifeless body of his mother and father who were crying.

Ruki: Yui... Yui... Aaaaaggghhhhhhhh

Ruki looked at the knife and took it and plunged it into his heart. At the last moment, he looked at Adam with a look full of hatred. And while holding Yui in his arms, he kissed her.

Ruki: Yui... my angel... I'll come back to you.... *cough*... Adam... I hope you burn in hell... where you belong.

Ruki closed his eyes and took his last breath while holding Yui in his arms. A strange silence filled the room. The room smelled of death and a little boy was looking at the lifeless body of his parents with tears in his eyes. Until he heard a voice behind him.

Asahi: Onui-chan... what's going on here?

Adam looked behind him. His little brother was looking at him with a face full of fear. Adam ran out of the room without saying a word. He left the house and ran away.

In the dark night while it is raining incessantly, a little boy is running in the streets with fear and eyes full of tears. He panted and ran. He didn't even know where he was going, he just wanted to run away. But he could never escape from the truth.

Adam kept running until his foot slipped and he fell to the ground. While it was raining and his little body was wet, he was crying and looking at his hands.

Adam: This is not real. This is a nightmare... a nightmare... I... I...

*flashback*

Ruki: You damn founder... I wish you were never born... It was your birth that destroyed my family.

*End of flashback*

Adam: I'm... a... foun...

Adam was looking at his hands with a pitiful look. He wished to die. All the events that happened now took all the reasons for his life.

Adam: Mom... Mom... forgive me... I'm sorry that I was born... *sob*...

Little boy was sitting in the rain in wet clothes and crying. He had lost the whole reason for his life and wished to die. Until he heard a faint voice behind him. A voice that calls him like a whisper.

???: Adam's son... you woke up???

Adam: ...

Adam looked behind him. A tall man with red eyes and white hair came towards him. He had a scary smile on his face and approached her.

Adam: Who are you?

The stranger knelt down next to the little boy without saying a word. He wiped the tears from his eyes with his finger and gently stroked his head.

???: Adam's son is here, really amazing.

Adam:...

???: Poor Boy. You must have endured difficult conditions. Don't worry. You don't have to worry anymore. Your birth was a sacred event that is going to change the world. Take my hand to introduce you to the new world.

With an evil grin, the stranger held out his hand to the little boy. He was waiting for the opportunity to take this kid's hand. Adam took his hand and the young man was ready. He was ready to start a new era. An era that will change the world and create a new world for humans and demons. Adam's son has woken up and started a new era.

Little Employee

Chapter 1: Infiltration

As Yui is enjoying her conversation with her fellow worker, a sudden commotion is happening in the club.

When the girl got curious to see what it is, she felt the same fear when she sees the very same group who tormented her.

Ayato, the third son of Sakamaki brothers, begins to threaten everyone. Bodyguards were beaten up; one is almost getting choked to death. The violent vampire is getting impatient.

"WHERE IS SHE?!" He roared.

"I'm here!" Yui rushes in. She doesn't want the vampires to cause any more harm because of her.

Remembering the sport that her boss taught her, she pulled out her handgun.

"PUT HIM DOWN, AYATO!"

In a blink of her eyes, she felt strong hands grabbed upwards by the angry vampire, causing the gun to blow up. People screamed and panicked. 

"You think you can fight me, idiot?" He laughed, and pushed her hard to the floor.

Yui looked up, all eyes of Sakamaki brothers are on her. She noticed that Subaru, the youngest one, cannot look at her further, and moves his eyes away.

How stupid of her. She should have listened to her boss.

"Remember dear, your new heart is still under developed. So make sure to avoid any sort of trouble, okay?" 

The rest of the brothers are clearly enjoying the sight of her in pain and humiliation. Though, Ayato scrunched up his nose and told her with irritated voice, "You smell weird, pancake. Did they do something to you?"

"It doesn't matter." The second son, Reiji, intervened. "We have her now. Let's leave this wretched place."

"No, all of you leave this place! I AM NOT GOING!"  Yui told the brothers off in determined tone.

This caused the vampires make various reactions, but she knows they feel insulted.

"You're ordering us now? And who said you can deny us?"

"I DO."

An ominous figure appeared behind the girl, much to the vampires' shock, disgust and awe.

"Gentlemen...Gentlemen. Please let us not cause anymore chaos into my club, shall we?" He greeted the brothers with his polite smile.

Ayato, whose eyes are fixed to the mysterious entity spoke, "W-who are you?"

"Ah, silly me! I am the owner of this nightclub. You may call me Mr. Dealer." He puffed out his smoke for a bit and added, "How about we have a nice little chat at the moment?"

The Sakamakis didn't respond.

"I'll take that as a yes, then." The Dealer made a toothy sharp grin. 

"Except for the humble guests... EVERYONE, OUT." His voice echoed around the club.

People began scrambling away, some goes through the fire exit, some jumps out of the windows, some directly runs to the employee's entrance. The female co worker of Yui took her hand, pulling her to get away from the club. The fifth son, Laito, witness them and begins to go after Yui. 

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING, LITTLE BI--"

His chase got cut off when he felt a huge hand grabbed his body, stopping him to go further. The Dealer is not harsh on him, but giving him a hint to not resist.

"I believe this is a better place to chat." The club owner gently puts down the shocked young man to the floor, and puts the hat to the guest's head in a friendly manner.

"Now then, why don't we start? Would you like me to gather seats for you? Beers? Cigars? A bite to eat?"

"No thank you. We won't be staying here for long..." Reiji said in a polite manner as possible. Shu (the eldest) noticed how the tone of his brother's voice changed a bit. For the first time, he felt worried.

"I see..." Mr. Dealer replied. "So, what exactly brings all of you he--"

"WE WANT HER!" An abrupt, straightforward response from Ayato himself. "GIVE HER BACK TO US!"

The club owner shook his floating head.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that. You see, Ms. Yui has signed a contract with me. She will be working for me for quiet sometime."

The vampires couldn't believe what they've heard. She give herself up to this ball of freak?! Most of the brothers were seething. How dare she left them over this monstrosity? Was she not grateful for living with them in the luxurious mansion? Compared to this garbage of a place, they imagine that she will be used and---

"I understand... Losing someone as important as her can be upsetting. She is a kind and compassionate girl." The Dealer said.

Subaru winced at that comment. He knows that is not the only main reason why he and his brothers are after her.

"But I can guarantee you... She will be well taken care of. And besides, she seem to develop quiet a liking towards this club---"

"THAT'S A LIE!" Another interruption from an angry Ayato. 

"How so?" Mr. Dealer asked, staring blankly at the hot headed boy.

Reiji had to step in before his stupid brother say and do something reckless.

"She is a shy and quiet girl who doesn't know what she wants. That is why we find it unbelievable that she is willing to stay here. We want to escort her back to our home."

"Really?" Reiji felt a chill down his spine when those pair of black hollowed eyes stare at him. "Strange... That is not how she reacted when she sees all of you."

Suddenly, one of the brothers moved forward. Shu cannot handle the small talk anymore.

"You want to know the truth?! We are the Sakamaki brothers, the vampire clan who lives from far from here. We need her as our bride to continue our bloodline." Much to Reiji's noticable a annoyance and anxiety, Shu continued, "Our father planned it all. She is supposedly the Eve of our family. So we beg you, to please give her back to us."

Subaru just frowned. He never seen him show any sort of care towards to anyone but himself; even Yui is just piece of blood to him. He doesn't know if he mean this, or just an act to persuade the strange creature.

"Vampires? Ah...that make sense... No wonder she suffers in constant chest pains. That's why I had to have my doctors get rid of that pesky heart of hers."

"You..did what?" 

 "Some wicked soul is attempting to take over her body, and her heart is the main cause. So in order for her to properly work for me, I've recommended her to undergo heart surgery, which she willingly participated."

The brothers were speechless.

"Oh, you all didn't know? And here I am thinking she gets better treatment back in your town." The Dealer chuckled.

"How is she still alive?" One of the brothers questioned.

"We've replaced her old heart with a new improved one."

"What?!"

Mr. Dealer showed a glass container. Inside is Yui's former heart.  The Sakamaki's sense of smell and desire heightened. So this is why they were so drawn to her blood. 

That heart... It originally belonged to Cordelia, the triplets' mother. (Ayato, Kanato, Laito)

"Here, this is all yours." The club owner handed over the heart to Ayato with care.

"I hope this concludes your chase for the girl, yes?"

Ayato and his brothers are stunned. So this explains everything. They've all been thirsting over her because of this heart. The heart of the so called mother they've despised and killed.

As the heart container is now on Ayato's hands, what will be his reaction?

Will he take it or break it?

Chapter seven

“I’d rather not know.”

“so this is where you guys are. such a drag.” 

Yui has never been happier in her life until now to see Shu. what a right timing! 

“Shu-san!” yes she was very happy. 

“drop it, you guys left me alone to deal with all that troublesome nonsense, I had to use my precious stored energy to wave them off. how are you gonna compensate for it?” Shu glared at them, but too lazy. He really had to go around the circles to dodge those noisy girls. 

“well the girls targeted you, so as you said, just remove the root of the problem, we ran away.” Shin hmphed as he was feeling tired, maybe because he felt relaxed after a really long time. 

“Let's go home Yui, I'm tired. We can buy the dress another day” Shu said as he had enough. It was a long day for him.

“hmm what is that?” Shin ignored Shu and asked Yui, as he pointed at a ice cream van having a poster of ‘new nuts & crunch scoop’ 

the word nuts always attracted him.

“oh… looks like a new flavour of ice cream containing nuts. it looks delicious” Yui answered. 

“of course it will, after all it's nuts. I’ll go get it” Shin ran to the van before his favourite flavour got sold out. 

Yui watched how his strawberry hair bounced as he happily ran away like a child. 

‘Does a wolf eat cereal? That also nut flavoured?’ She peeked at the animal as her eyes softened when she noticed it’s fur color. At first it was dark so she didn’t notice but it’s pink at a near glance. Baby pink? No strawberry pink? No, it's ginger pink, just like Shin. What’s weird is that the wolf also has an eye-patch like him.

Over and over again she has been ignoring the signs. 

Why are founders suddenly quiet? It's been a little while since their last attack.

‘I'd rather not know’

“Let’s go Shu-san” without waiting, she left. 

– Yui's room, Sakamaki mansion:

This is so unfair… just when she was finally happy… or maybe she is just overthinking it. Maybe the founders are planning something big that’s why they suddenly went quiet. 

Yui tremblingly hugged her wolf plushie resembling Shin to ward off all the negative thoughts and fall asleep in this mess.

She thought she’ll at least be at peace in her dreams, but no, she suddenly found herself in school infirmary with the same ringing noise like in those other dreams. But this time there was someone standing in front of her. 

“No need- bother- it’ll be unnec-sary- to return ‘home’ -anymore”

“now- my pro-rty

“Don’t compa- to them- i’m a founde- **i* **u****mi” 

the ringing noise was starting to become louder and the cut off sentences were beginning to disappear. Even the unknown man faded into thin air. 

She was now totally surrounded by darkness, alone, with the ringing noise…. and an inaudible echo.

“Eve.. are y**- rem****ring?” 

– Dungeon, Tsukinami mansion:

Waking up in the dungeon after a long time was not in Shin’s to-do-list after having a good time with Yui.

It was hazy and all he remembers is coming home to his angry brother and ending up in the dungeon. 

“You are finally awake, Shin?” 

Speak of the devil. The word Shin was highlighted coldly and he knew what it meant. Taking a deep breath, he slowly looked up.

“....”

Carla narrowed his eyes and put a hand over his forehead, sweeping the bangs, while looking at his younger brother.

“Over and over again you had enough opportunities to capture her and bring her here, yet you decided not to. Are you waiting for the eclipse to get over?”

Low angry voice. Shin isn't surprised. 

“Nii-san I… I was trying to win her trust so that she won’t be a nuisance initially-”

“It's not needed. Her trust is not needed, she’ll be a nuisance anyways. We bring her here, cleanse her blood and continue our lineage.”

“5 days. I’m giving you 5 days to bring her here before I myself decide to interfere in this troublesome matter.”

Without giving Shin a chance to speak, Carla left the dungeon to let his brother continue his punishment.

5 days… the prom is also in 5 days, what a coincidence or not. His brother is smart enough to know that the prom party will be the perfect time to take her away. The vampires won’t be able to notice immediately among a bunch of students as their senses are weak.

It’s frustrating. Maybe he should have caught her on day one. 

“Thank you Shin-kun for protecting me”

Shin still remembers how she thanked him for protecting her in the dispute with the abusive boy at the rooftop on day one. During the whole tour she was down and numb. Her words were void of emotions when explaining the school layout. It felt off, even though he shouldn’t have cared, it still bothered him. What hell has she been living in with those vampires?

How ironic… that’s what he and his brother were gonna do to her, they were going to put her through the same hell and just like he said previously he shouldn’t have cared about her well being. Their only goal was their lineage.

Empathy doesn’t exist in demons.

but…

“cause… I wanted to be alone with you.” 

The way she blushed from those simple words. Her ears and cheeks red, just like a tomato. It was cute. Every single time they met and were alone, he started to see improvement in her complexion. At first he viewed that as a good point as it’ll be easy to conceive with that healthy body of hers but soon he forgot his own purpose. He just wanted to be with her. It has been so long since he felt genuinely alive. 

But it was all going to end soon.

–Rooftop, Ryoutei Academy:

Unknowingly, the rooftop has become a safe spot for Yui. the cool breeze calmed her as she sat on the floor, hugging her knees and looking at the full red moon. Everybody has their own secret spot and for Yui, it’s the school rooftop. It might not be a secret like other’s spot but it’s her comfort.

This place holds her memories with Shin. 

And right now she is too deep down in the hole she has dug herself. It was from day one. She had a chance, a chance to take Shu’s hand while she fell in the shallow pit, but instead she took the shovel called Shin and kept digging more like an idiot thinking another path will open which will be safer, unknowingly caging herself the deeper she went as the light slowly disappeared above her. And now, the reliable shovel is broken too. 

There was… a cracking noise within her. 

There’s gotta be a fix. Every problem always has a fix. Right?

“What are you doin’ here?” 

Her ears perked up from the voice beside her and she saw Shin sitting beside her in the same way she is.

“J-just enjoying the view” 

Silence befell between them. Unlike previously she didn’t strike up random conversation to waive the awkward air around them. 

Shin glanced at her complexion from side eye and it looked paler. 

“Why are you here?” without even looking at him, she asked. She was too exhausted. 

He hesitated for a moment, his throat feeling dry, like he was scared.

“I came to ask if you want to… bunk the school to go out with me?”

“What?!” His words brought her back to her senses as she looked at him bewildered while he gave his signature smirk.

Azusa can hear giggles and splash of water in the distance. He knew where he was, he was in the forest, where the princess lived. She appeared in his dreams. He knows moments ago he fell asleep with Rose-san locked in his arms. He can still smell her scent on him. Every time he thinks of her his heart skips a beat. He arrived at the river and saw the princess inside the water not moving, staying still. Neither said anything they just stared at each other. All you can hear is the waterfall and the crickets. A few seconds passed by and she walked out of the water. The moonlight was shining directly at her, the princess gave him a seductive smile, her wet dress hugged her body perfectly and you could see her nipples pointing through the fabric. She looked like a goddess. Once she got closer to him she cupped his cheeks with her wet hands.

Princess: “Hello, Azusa. It's been a while since you visited me.”

She was about to press her lips to his but Azusa moved his head to the side and removed her hands from his cheeks. He can see the anger on her face.

“What the fuck, Azusa. No man should reject me!”

She kicked him so hard in the stomach that his back slammed into a tree.

*Cough, Cough*

Azusa: “Hehe… hehehe… That kick felt amazing… please, do it again…”

She grabs him by the neck.

Princess: “Why did you reject my kiss?”

Azusa: “Because… I have a precious… Rose…”

She tightens her grip on his neck.

Princess: “You idiot! She is me. Well, soon she will become me.”

Azusa gave her a confused expression and struggled to reply.

Azusa: “... What... do you… mean…?”

She releases her hand from his neck.

“… The two of you… do look the same... and have the same scent… But… getting to know, Rose-san… she's different…”

Princess: “You will know over time…”

“Is Interesting that you have feelings for my human self. I have to admit I’m kinda jealous.”

- She pressed her body closer to his, pinning him against the tree -

“You better not... forget about me.”

She snatches his bandage from his neck.

“You belong to me, Azu... Like I belong to you.”

Azusa: “Eh!!?”

(He can hear his heart pounding...)

“You called me Azu... just like Rose did...”

She nods.

Princess: “I told you, she is me.”

Azusa: “Really…? Princess… Tell me... what all of this means ...?”

Princess: “Is not time yet, He is not ready to go with the plan yet.”

Azusa: “By he, you mean Karlheinz-sama...?”

She nods and runs her fingers gently to the scars on his neck.

Princess: “Your scars are beautiful...”

She kissed his neck slowly and a moan escaped Azusa’s lips.

Azusa: “... I need you...”

He kept moaning as he felt her warm tongue running over his scars.

“All of this... is messing me up in the head... but… as long it’s from my precious, Rose... I’ll take all the pain... you’ll bring my way...”

She smiles and cups his cheek.

Princess: “Good boy. Azu...”

She pressed her lips to his and this time Azusa responded and wrapped his arms around her waist.

Azusa: “Nn... Hah... Nn.... Princess...?”

Princess: “Yes…?”

Azusa: “Can I bite you...?”

Princess: “No Azu. I need to warn you about something before our time is up. Even though we belong to each other. There can be situations that won’t allow us to be together. Human me is very vulnerable right now, and destiny can be changed. You need to be careful someone else doesn’t claim her before you do.”

Azusa: “Eh...!? I will not allow that...!”

He grabs her by the shoulders and notices her tears turned into blood.

Azusa: “Princess...!”

Gasping.

Azusa sat up, he woke up from his dream, He looked over to see Rose-san was still sleeping next to him in her bedroom. He wonders if what the Princess told him is truly real or if this was just a random dream. The thought of someone else taking Christine away from him is giving him anxiety. He got up and left the room, He needed to cut himself, to feel pain right now. The pain will clear his thoughts.

*Timeskip*

Christine just finished getting ready for tonight. In a few minutes, she will be heading out with Kou to the Sakamaki’s mansion. When she woke up this evening, Azusa wasn’t in her bed and he wasn’t in the kitchen for breakfast either. Due to how he was feeling yesterday, she’s worried about him. She opened the door to head out of the room and flinched when she saw Azusa standing right in front of her.

Christine: “Azu, I didn't see you at breakfast today. Is everything okay?”

After she asks him she notices his arms have fresh wounds. There’s blood coming through his bandages.

Christine: !!!

“Azusa! Your arms let me help you clean them and—”

Azusa: “No... don't worry about it... plus we don’t have too much time... before you leave with Kou... I wanted to give you this...”

He gives her a small white box with a red ribbon on top.

Christine: “A gift?”

Azusa: “I went and got this for you... when everyone was eating breakfast... please... can you... accept my gift...?”

Christine: “You didn’t have to get me anything... But I will accept your gift.”

Azusa: “Really...? That makes me happy, Rose-san... Go ahead... and open it...”

She nods and removes the pretty ribbon. When she opened the box she saw a beautiful small red rose inside.

Azusa: “This is a rose hair clip.”

He takes the rose out of the box and places it in her hair.

“That night… when I put the red rose on your hair… I really liked… how lovely it looked on you…”

“A real flower… will come off easily… that's why I got you… this rose hair clip instead...”

Christine: “A-Azu... Thank you, that was very sweet of you to get me this gift.”

He caresses her cheek.

Azusa: “You are my precious red rose...”

Christine: (My heart is racing!...)

“A-Azu, I—“

Kou: “Kujaku-chan! It’s time to go. Fufu~ Did I interrupt something?”

He smirks.

Christine: “No. I'm ready, we can go now. Thank you again, Azu. I’ll see you when I get back.”

“Bye.”

Azusa: “Bye, Rose… Kou… Please look out for her…”

Kou: “Don’t worry. I'll take good care of her.”

*Timeskip*

- At the Sakamaki Mansion -

Yui: “Christine-san! It’s nice to see you again.”

Christine: “I’m glad to see you again too. How are you?”

Yui: “I’m fine thank you for asking. I hope we can work together today.”

Christine: “Me too! I’m looking forward for us to catch up on eachother.”

Kou: “M-neko-chan, how rude of you to not even say, Hi to me.”

Yui: “Kou-kun! Sorry, how are you tonight?”

Kou: “Fufu~ I’m a nice guy so I’ll forgive you if you give me something in return.”

Yui: “In return?”

He smirks.

Kou: “In return if you let me have a little sip of your delicious blood. What do you s—”

Ayato: “You better fuck off! You Mukami bastard! Chichinashi is mine.”

He grabs Yui by the waist.

Yui: “A-Ayato-kun! I thought you were still eating teriyaki in the kitchen.”

Ayato: “I was until I smelled these two and I lost my appetite.”

Christine: (So rude!…)

Subaru: “Che. You all are so fuckin’ annoying.”

Kou: “Well, well, if it isn’t Subaru-kun?”

Subaru: “You bastard. You better stop that grin on your face before I knock your teeth out!”

Reiji: “Good grief you two. That is enough. We are not wasting time tonight.”

“You!”

He stares at Christine.

“It is time to start your shift. Kou since you’re here you can make yourself useful to help her out in some of the tasks.”

Kou: “Don't wanna! But I guess I have no choice. Ruki will scold me if I don't watch her.”

Ayato: “Hahaha. You’re babysittin’. Lame!”

“Come, Chichinashi. Let’s go do somethin’ fun.”

Yui: “Apologies, Christine-san. I'll see you in a little while.”

Subaru: “Che. I agree, Lame! I'm out of here.”

Reiji: “My brothers are so useless.”

He pulls up his glasses.

“The two of you can follow me.”

*Timeskip*

Christine: (Kou is the most annoying vampire. He didn’t shut up about his idol life and on top of that, he didn’t even help me at all with the chores. All he did was sit, talk, and laugh…)

Kou: “You should come to one of my concerts one day, Kujaku-chan. I bet you will have fun.”

Christine: “Well… I do love concerts and it’s been a while since the last time I went to one.”

Kou: “Great! You will be my special guest. Fufu~”

He suddenly sees Subaru.

“I should invite him too. Fufu~ I’ll be right back, Kujaku-chan.”

She watched as Kou followed Subaru. She figured he went to bother him since the white-haired vampire gets angry easily.

Christine kept doing her other tasks, an hour or maybe two had passed by and Kou never returned to check up on her.

Christine: (It’s fine as long as the Sakamaki’s don’t bother me and I can finish up my shift in peace and then, I hope I can see and talk to Yui after…)

- Reiji appears -

Reiji: “Christine, I have to say I'm surprised at how well you have done all these tasks. I guess you are not as useless as I thought.”

Christine: … …

(With him I don't know what to say. Since the first time I met him, I have found him so intimidating…)

Reiji: “...Hmph. Cat got your tongue?”

Christine: “N-No. I'm glad you think I work well today.”

Reiji: “Don’t think too highly of yourself. You still have one more task for tonight. Come follow me.”

Christine: “Where are we going?”

Reiji: “In the kitchen for your final task for tonight. You are gonna help me cook dinner.”

Christine: (Oh no! That means I have to be alone with him. Where the fuck is Kou? When I need him. He’s supposed to be watching me...)

“Okay.”

Once Christine and Reiji got to the kitchen he gave her a list of the meals she would be cooking and the ingredients she would need. Minutes passed by and they both were preparing and cooking in silence. When she started cuting the vegetables she notice that Reiji was staring at her.

Christine: “Is something a matter?”

Reiji: “No, I'm just observing on how you're cutting the vegetables to make sure the results will be flawless.”

“You may continue.”

Christine: (This is so akward!...)

“Don’t worry about that. I’m not bragging but I am a good cook.”

Reiji: “Is that so? Excellent. Then I suppose there will be no reason for me to intervene as I supervise.”

Christine: ‘B-But... Why? I thought you were preparing other meals. I feel uncomfortable with you staring at me.”

Reiji: “If my presence bothers you then feel free to leave my kitchen immediately.”

Christine: “Fine. I’ll continue cutting these veggies.”

- Suddenly Reiji comes behind her -

She Flinch.

Reiji: “You are doing it wrong.”

He grabs her hand, helping her make the right movement.

“This is how you should cut them.”

Christine: !

(His body is pressed to mine and he’s so close to me that I can smell his scent. I’m getting nervious...)

“I-I didn’t know there was a special technic for cutting vegetables, besides, I have always cut them this way and it turns out fine.”

Reiji: “The way you were cutting it would not achieve its full potential. Presentation is very important.”

Christine: “But—”

Reiji: “Unbelievable... I am kindly borrowing you some of my precious time in order to help you get the best meal and yet you reject my advice?”

She turns around to look at him.

Christine: “I didn’t ask for your help to begin with!”

- Reiji pins her against the kitchen wall, glaring into her eyes -

Reiji: “You insolent woman! Do you not realize the position you are in? In this mansion, I demand respect!”

Christine: “I’m sorry...”

Reiji: “This is the second time you have defied me and yet you believe saying "sorry" will save you? A punishment is in section.”

He grabs her chin and pushes her head aside.

“I see one of those impure vampires has had their fun with you.”

“Your flowery scent has become stronger. Do you like that I’m this close to you?”

Christine: “Of course not!”

Reiji: “Then why are you blushing?”

Christine: !!

“I-I am not!”

She tried pushing him.

Reiji: “I will teach you what happens to little brats like you.”

- He smelled her neck and pierced his fangs into her skin -

She flinch at the flick of pain.

*Gulp*

Christine: (This again! But with a different vampire...)

“Please... stop.”

Reiji: “Your blood... it’s great quality and very sweet. I don’t think I’ll be able to stop.”

Reiji bites her harder, going wild on her neck leaving new bite marks on her skin. Covering the other vampire marks with his. Christine screams, the pain was becoming too much. Tears start running down her cheeks.

Reiji: “Mm... gulp... haah... haha...”

“What a dirty woman you are... getting turned on by my fangs like this. Your blood is becoming hotter by the second.”

He sucks even more, increasing the pain.

Christine: “Ah!”

Christine breathing becomes heavy and she tightens her grip on his shirt. The pain was becoming to much for her that she felt she would passed out any minute.

Reiji: “To think a lowly servant such as yourself would dare to be disrespectful to me... Please get off your high horse already...”

*Slurp*

Christine: “I’m sorry. P-Please, stop…”

Reiji: “Fufu...You seem to be shaking. I suppose even an idiot such as yourself has finally realized the position she is in?”

He licks his bite marks.

“Let that be your lesson. Next time watch the way you address me.”

Reiji lets her go, turning off the stove so the food won't burn, and leaves the kitchen. Once he left, Christine fell to the floor and started sobbing, covering her eyes with her hands. She definitely feels worthless.

- Yui appears in the Kitchen -

Yui: “Christine-san!”

She runs to her and kneels down to the floor, removing Christine’s hands gently from her face.

“I’m so sorry, Reiji-san did this to you.”

Christine: “Yui… do the brothers forcefully suck your blood?”

Yui: “No, ever since Ayato-kun and I started dating, the brothers stopped trying to bite me. Well… Laito-kun sometimes tries on occasion but I think he does it more to tease and make Ayato-kun angry.”

Christine: “I see… since I am not dating anyone, I guess they will use me as their blood whore.”

More tears come out of her eyes.

Yui: “I’m so sorry for not checking on you sooner… Come. Let’s get you clean up. I promise I won't leave you alone for the rest of the night.”

They both stand up.

Christine: “Thank you, Yui. But just know, It’s not your fault. I should have been careful.”

“Wait, Yui… What about dinner? I'm afraid of leaving the kitchen like this and making Reiji even more angrier with me.”

Yui: “Don’t worry about that. I'm sure Reiji-san will be back to clean and finish up dinner once he calms down. He will never leave this kitchen like this.”

“Now, come.”

Ayato absentmindedly playing and picking on his food was a rare sight, and it irritated Kanato as it ruins his appetite first thing in the morning. He had been doing it since the whole blonde-dream-girl-he-met-at-a-party-run-off-from-him-the-next-day-after-they-had-sex fiasco. Of course, he endured his brothers teasing him to no end, saying how he got dumped for the first time after a one-night stand (because it was rare; like hello, Ayato Sakamaki, the IT boy of Ryoutei University, the infamous college basketball champion.) It wasn't until the jokes don't sound funny anymore and Ayato wasn't eating takoyaki that Kanato and Laito believed this girl must be some serious shit.

And Kanato, being the prick he is, decided to stab his bacon and eggs so loudly in the morning, uncaring if Laito was staring between his older brothers awkwardly. While the concern was there, Kanato can't help but get irritated at Ayato's constant wistful and hopeless romantic longing.

Ugh. Love and all the neuro-shit.

"U-Umm..." Laito started, feeling Kanato's patience slip away, "Ayato-kun, aren't you going to eat-"

"Let him starve himself over some girl who dumped him," Kanato cut in, the stabbing motions not ceasing anytime soon. How dare he anger him? If that's what he wants, then that's what he'll get.

But Ayato was stubborn. Laito gulped nervously at that.

Oh, no.

Kanato slammed his fists on the table. "Okay, what do you want? Just say anything because I am getting sick and tired of your endless moping."

Ayato sighed again, stopping from his usual ministrations. "You can't help me. You don't know her."

Kanato huffed. "Bullshit. We already saw her leave the day after, remember."

"But you don't know where to find her," Ayato countered to which Laito found himself agreeing with.

To be fair, they don't know anything about this mysterious Yui Komori girl. But if they were to have first impression guesses, the girl seemed the honest yet clueless type. She also has the good girl type, the obedient one who always follows her parents' bidding because she is good like that.

However, the girl attended the party in their house and spent that one night with Ayato. That new information doesn't match their impression. Nonetheless, this Yui Komori can quite be a breath of fresh air. After all, this would be the first time Ayato flirted with a girl from the university since all his exes came from different schools.

"So this Bitch-chan has the curiosity of a cat, after all," Laito mused teasingly. "Not a goody two shoes, I see."

"I've asked random people from my course if they know someone called Yui Komori, but they don't seem to recognize one," Ayato said bitterly.

"Hmm... Ayato-kun, what if she's not really studying in Ryoutei University?"

"Nah, that's impossible." The redhead frowned. There's no way Yui would lie to him about studying in Ryoutei. Besides, the only ones invited to their party were people from the university.

"Well, I guess we could just help you look for this Yui Komori," Laito offered with a beaming smile because if this is what it takes for Ayato to stop his endless sighing over hopeless longings, then so be it. Then he turned to Kanato, giving him the "help me out here or else I'll do something despicable to your belongings" look.

Kanato only sighed in exasperation.

What a drag.

It took four days before Laito informed Ayato something about Yui Komori. It happened one day while he was seeing this one random girl he hooked up with from the Philosophy Department. After their intense sex, she mentioned something along the lines of: "I know that girl. She never skips all the classes. But Laito-kun, she's a bit boring, though? Are you sure you're looking for the right girl?"

And another fun fact: Laito had the same class with the Komori girl at 3pm every Tuesdays.

So Ayato became Laito's substitute, sitting in an unfamiliar class with brand new faces. He looked around for any sign of pale blonde hair and flower hairpins and pink until he spotted her. She was careless and lively, giggling at something her classmates said. Afterwards, the class started, the professor making his usual roll call.

"Sakamaki Laito?"

Ayato raised his hand. "Here."

The professor didn't care, but some of the students whispered, "Eh? But that's not Laito, though. It's the Ayato one."

At the mention of his name, Yui whipped her head back and saw Ayato, sitting five rows away from her. She immediately turned away and tried to shrink from his presence.

What's he doing here?

Once classes ended, Yui quickly got out of her seat and rushed towards the door, letting the crowd of students from the hallway take her until Ayato couldn't see her anymore. Ayato sighed in defeat. It was a one-time chance, and yet he failed.

"So what now?" Laito asked, munching on his salted caramel popcorn as he watched this new movie he rented with Kanato at their living room. "You'll have to wait for Tuesday to see her again."

"I don't have time for that," Ayato countered. "My practice schedule has been moved to Tuesday next week."

Kanato buried his face into Teddy's head, hugging the stuffed bear closer. "We could ask Reiji to give us a copy of her schedule. He's doing an assistant teacher job until next month," he suggested, then he remembered, "Nah. It's a bad idea. As if Reiji would let us know someone's class schedule. He abides by the rule."

"Looks like there goes your hopes and dreams, Ayato-kun," Laito remarked in despair.

Or so they thought.

Why? Because Kanato passed by Yui Komori in the hallway on Thursday. What's more? Her class is held at room 403 from 1pm to 5pm.

He knew because he skipped one of his minor classes and see where this blonde girl will move. He even approached one of her classmates and pretended he was quite interested, making some nonsensical flirtatous remarks on her because the girl looked so easy.

"O-O-Oh that?" the poor girl tucked her hair behind her ear and shyly handed out her class schedule. "Y-You can check it; I don't mind. As long as we see each other after this."

As if Kanato will let that happen.

Ayato was chugging on one of his water bottles in the kitchen when Kanato approached him and said, "I saw your dream girl today."

The redhead stopped at that, turning all his focus on the middle triplet. "Where?"

Suddenly, Kanato whipped out his phone and typed something. Afterwards, Ayato's phone beeped and when he opened it, he received a picture of a class schedule.

"I met a girl who goes to all same classes with that Yui Komori," Kanato informed. "Make sure to use it wisely or else." Because I am so tired of you being so lovesick as hell.

"O-Oh," Ayato was glad. Finally, he could see her again. "Thanks, Kanato."

"Just buy me two pints of ice cream."

"Sure."

"I want the new biscoff one and the chocolate chip cookie."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

Yui was bored. Apparently their professor for their 4-hour class this Friday afternoon was absent due to sudden cold. She sighed in her seat, contemplating where she could go since her next class would be for 6 pm onwards.

"U-Umm... Komori-san!" a female classmate called.

"Y-Yes?"

"Y-Your boyfriend's calling out for you."

"Eh? Boyfriend?"

Then she saw some of her classmates whispering to each other, glancing briefly at her before going back to their own businesses. Yui decided she should find ot who this mystery boyfriend, although there's only one person that comes to mind.

I hope he's not who I'm thinking.

"Yo, Chichinashi," Ayato greeted, the familiar smirk flashing on him. "It's been a while."

Yui blushed at the familiar nickname, the whispers behind her getting louder.

This was the start of a roller coaster story.

The weather was cold and dark and the rain was getting heavier and heavier every moment. All the people were wearing warm clothes and jackets made of leather and warm wools and continued on their way. Most of the couples used a common umbrella and their hands were tied in each other's hands.

In the middle of a merciless storm and heavy rain, a thin and pale girl was standing next to a shop. Her clothes did not look very warm. The body and all the clothes were wet because of the rain and she was hugging her arms to get a little warm. Her wet hair was falling on her face and water was dripping from the corner of her hair. In the darkness of the night, her face could not be seen well, but if someone looked at her carefully, they would realize that she was crying.

Yui: (Ruki-kun, please hurry. I'm scared. I don't want to be alone. Please come back faster. What will happen if they find us?)

Ruki had stolen the person he loved the most from the Tsukinami mansion and now he wanted to run away with her. Yui had been imprisoned by the Tsukinami brothers for months. Shin had brutally tortured her and her whole body was scarred. Yui had become very mentally unstable and was very scared.

*flashback*

Shin approaches Yui and he slaps Yui so hard that Yui falls on the ground and blood comes from the corner of her mouth. Tears in her eyes and she can't even breathe regularly.

Shin: Do what I said or I will kill you.

Yui could not speak a single word. She had endured all of Shin's tortures and knew how cruel he was and would really kill her if she disobeyed him.

Shin approached Yui with slow steps and while Yui tried to get up from the ground with her weak arms, he pushed her to the ground again. He wrapped his arms around Yui's slender neck and began to squeeze with all his might, but was careful not to break her neck.

Shin: You will do what I said right now or you will never be able to breathe again.

Yui's eyes turned black and she struggled for her life.

Yui: O... O... Okay...

As soon as the word left Yui's mouth, Shin let go of her neck and Yui was panting frantically.

Yui: *cough* *cough*...

When Yui caught her breath, Shin was looking at her expectantly with an evil grin on his face. She stood up with tears in her eyes. Her hands and feet were shaking. She slowly raised her delicate hands and started taking off her clothes. Until she felt the caress of a hand on her bare skin.

Shin: Good girl... let me help you take off the rest.

*End of flashback*

Yui had tears in her eyes as she remembered the bitter memories. She was immersed in her own thoughts and did not notice that people were looking at her. To the lonely girl who is wet and shivering in the rain.

Yui felt the caress of one hand on her shoulders again. But this caress was not familiar. She turned to see a strange man looking at her with concern.

Man: Young lady, is something wrong? Let me help you.

Yui was horrified to see the strange man. She stepped back to defend herself.

Yui: Don't come near me. Do not touch me.

Man: I want to help you.

Yui was scared and didn't know how to react. Without being able to think straight, she started running even though Ruki had told her to wait for him. She ran as fast as she could and cried until she reached a dead end.

Yui sat next to the garbage and hugged her knees. Tears flowed from her eyes and wet her innocent face. She was shaking and crying because of the cold and fear. Her pained face showed that she had suffered a lot.

Yui: Ruki-kun... please... come back...

While she was crying in the dark alley, a man approached her and held an umbrella over her head to protect her from the rain. He slowly began to caress her head and though Yui's attention was drawn to her. Yui looked up and saw Ruki.

Ruki: Yui... I told you to wait for me.

Seeing Ruki, she jumped into his arms without any hesitation and started crying again. She was hugging Ruki with all her heart. It was as if she was drowning and Ruki was her lifeguard.

Yui: Ruki-kun.... *Sob* ... Ruki-kun.... *Sniff* ... Please.... *Sob* ... Don't leave me alone...

Seeing how scared and cold Yui was, Ruki frowned. He considered himself guilty of these events. He should never have left Yui alone in that hellish mansion. He should have gone earlier to save her.

Ruki took off his jacket and threw it over Yui's shoulders and hugged her tightly. He pressed Yui's head to his chest and gently caressed her and kissed her wet hair.

Ruki: Don't worry, Yui. We are not apart. No one can separate us anymore.

Yui relaxed in Ruki's arms and took a deep breath. Ruki looked at the tickets he had prepared. They didn't have much time, they had to leave this city faster. To be with each other and stay together forever.

After Yui calmed down, Ruki gently wiped the tears from her face and kissed her cheek. He helped Yui put on his jacket. And while holding her delicate hand, he held the umbrella over her head and they started to move to escape from this hell together.

🎻- Honestly just like every other brother, it heavily depends on who was killed

🎻- If it was Reiji, he'd be ecstatic, kind of

🎻- His relationship with Reiji is extremely strained and that's without him even knowing about him "killing" Edgar

🎻- He'd be impressed that you managed to kill someone like Reiji which initially makes him extremely wary of you

🎻- His immediate reaction to finding out would be disbelief but then escalate into one of satisfaction

🎻- He'd probably say something along the lines of "What would that woman think if she knew you died by the hands of a mere mortal, I wonder?" And cue insane laughter please

🎻- If it was someone less relevant to him, then I'd say he's the type of guy to not care until he actually sees the body dressed up and ready to be buried

🎻- Now I'm not saying he'll go into grieving or anything, but it'll actually hit him that his brother is in fact dead

🎻- Now for his reaction towards YOU

🎻- That's a completely different story

🎻- Like I said before, his reaction would differ and if you really did manage to kill Reiji, he'd be ever so grateful but he'd never say it. Ever.

🎻- He'd probably be curious though as to what drove you to killing him, or any of his brothers for that matter

🎻- He'd analyze the situation in his mind and pick out the flaws that led to their demise

🎻- Realistically he'd care but not for too long. Give him about less than a week to get accustomed and he'll be fine

🎻- He'd never underestimate you again though, he'll make sure of that

🎻- If it was Yui however, then that's a lot more complicated

🎻- If his relationship was well developed with her, you'd be dead, without a doubt

☕- This may honestly seem like a shock to some people but Reiji actually does care for his brothers and has stated that he enjoys living with them

☕- Going off of this information, we can assume he'd be at least a tiny bit distraught even if he doesn't convey it outwardly

☕- Like Shu, he'd want to know your motives and additionally, how you even managed to do such a thing

☕- He'd honestly miss their presence and picking up after them. He would probably cope in some weird ass way

☕- Maybe he'd start writing letters to them and keep them sealed away somewhere extremely safe

☕- Initially, his face would go 😨 and then you'd have to deal with him mourning

☕- He'd probably avoid you realistically until he has thoughts in an order

☕- This process can take either a day or a month depending

☕- God forbid it was Shu that was killed however

☕- Once again, cue insane laughter

☕- Seeing your lifelong rival die is something I'm sure is hard to process

☕- I'm not saying he wouldn't be relieved that his good for nothing brother died, especially since it meant he was now the oldest and had more opportunities opened up to him

☕- But as much as he does hate Shu, it's still his brother and at some point in their lives, they weren't rivals

☕- Now I'm not saying he'll be even slightly upset with his death but

☕- Actually let me backtrack a bit

☕- Imagine hating someone so much because all they do is show you up without having to do anything and in a second, they're gone

☕- Reiji would almost throw a tantrum

☕- Their relationship can be comparable to Joker and Batman in a sense

☕- Let me elaborate on that for a second

☕- Building your life around a certain person and making sure you come out on top no matter what

☕- Having the very reason that you're the person you are today, be ripped away from you is something that's always hard to process whether your relationship with them is negative or positive

☕- Reiji needs to feel the satisfaction of killing Shu so he can translate onto him the years of pent up rage and resentment and pain and hurt and jealousy

☕- Killing Shu would mean to Reiji that you took away the one thing he could've owned for himself without being overshadowed

☕- If you take away the very thing that makes Reiji, Reiji, then he'll lose the foundation for all his successes in life

☕- If you killed Yui however, obviously death

☕- I feel like I shouldn't have to say it each time, but expect to die in some twisted malevolent way

☕- Let's say he didn't have that bond with Yui, he'd still be pissed

☕- Probably lock you in the dungeon without food so you could "understand" the extent of your crimes

Ayato Sakamaki

🏆- Ok so I'm not sure how many people know this, but Ayato is the most sympathetic of his brothers, I'd go as far to say even empathetic

🏆- Now I'm not saying this makes him a morally good person and whatnot, or that he'll cry everyday and bring flowers to his brother's grave, no

🏆- We learn that Ayato is actually quite understanding and sympathetic when he states that he understands why Cordelia did certain things and even pitied her

🏆- With that in mind, it'd hurt him, a lot

🏆- We all know Ayato is one to wear his heart on his sleeve no matter wherever or whoever

🏆- He'll be outwardly upset but that doesn't mean he'll be seen mourning

🏆- To break it down, he's the type of person to stare at the empty seat in the dining room and can't help but realize that chair will always be empty

🏆- Or he'll realize that he'll live long enough to forget his brother's voice, sometimes stand in front their bedroom door, not saying anything and then walking off

🏆- He'll notice how the living room feels slightly bigger when there's family meetings and how he'll never get to shout at that person again

I had a very cute DL dream. I swear I cried by seeing this dream 🥺😭.

Yui was a helpless baby. I could hear her crying but for some reason I could not help her.

In my dream the person who first found Yui was Karlheinz, not Richter. He held Yui in his arms and decided to use her for his plan. But something unexpected happened. Yui cupped Karlheinz's face with her small hands, which made Karlheinz feel good. He placed his ear gently on Yui's chest to listen to her heartbeat and he started to cry when he heard her tiny heartbeat. Karlheinz held Yui's small body in his arms and kissed her forehead, deciding to take care of Yui like his own daughter with all his heart.

He took Yui to his mansion. And introduced Yui to his only sons, Reiji and Shu. ( In my dream only Reiji and Shu were the sons of Karlheinz and there were no more sons. ) Reiji immediately hugged Yui. He smiled when he saw Yui and promised his father to take care of Yui. Shu had three kittens. ( I wonder if the triplets turned into cats in my dream 😂😂😂. ) Shu showed the kittens to Yui and they played together.

Why rejet didn't make this cute story for DL 😭. I hate you rejet. I wish my dream was the real story of DL.

Shu x Yui (Dark)

“Please…! I’ve had enough..! It hurts so much!” She sobbed, of course it was going to hurt, I was purposely cutting her deeply. My fangs should be enough for her but lately she’s been acting up. Thinking I’m too lazy or too in my own head to realize what she’s been doing, fucking around with other guys. I’m not stupid but she’s not my girlfriend so i technically shouldn’t give a shit. And honestly I don’t, I enjoy indulging in her blood, and I enjoy having sex with her but that’s about it…hurting her like this gives me great satisfaction as well, I’m usually never this energetic but I caught her fucking one of those mukami bastards, the one that looks just like Edgar, it kind of hit a nerve for me. She looked like she was having the time of her life with him and here I came in ruining her short lived fun.

I lick my blade before I stab it into her lower abdomen. She lets out a sharp gasp before giving me a horrified look. “Shu..are you trying to kill me..?!” She asks me, I let out a sadistic chuckle. “Maybe..” I tell her as I grab her jaw, clutching it firmly. “I forgot how much fun it was torturing you” she looks like she’s about to be sick to her stomach, I’m truly having the time of life here.

“Why am I being punished…I don’t understand”

“You chose me to protect you or whatever..and then you go and get yourself fucked by the Mukamis..are you sure you don’t understand why you’re being punished..?”

“He came onto me..! How is that my fault??”

Her face flushed away and you could see guilt in her eyes.

I plop myself down across the wall from her , watching as she slept, I close my eyes too and drift into a light sleep.
