jyp talks to elsy about joining got7 in which she doesn’t know how to feel about then she meets with them after.

Elsy let out a small sigh as she smiled at Jyp. It was her monthly evaluation and the girl just got done singing No One by Alicia Keys. She thought it went by smoothly but her heart began to race, ready to face whatever Jyp was going to tell her.

“Very nice job, Elsy.” He began, looking at his notes. “You hit every note correctly and you had good charisma when performing.”

“I enjoyed watching your performance, well done.”

“Thank you.” She bowed.

He signaled for her to sit down to join the rest of the trainees who still had to do their evaluations as well. Elsy let out another sigh as she watched the all of them sing or rap. Some needed a little more practice while others were really good. Which in fact made Elsy nervous.

She thought she was good herself but when seeing others do better than her, she began to doubt herself. 4 years of training were finally getting to her, at this point she wasn’t sure when or if she was ever going to debut and she was beginning to give up.

All she wanted to do was make her parents proud. Especially since they weren’t on board with her wanting to persue a music career as an idol.

“Alright everyone, it was great getting to see your guy’s performances, I’ll continue to look over this and will come back to you guys. As of now, you may all go home.”

And with that, everyone began to get up and walk out of the room to do their own things. Elsy got up slowly, realizing she had no rush to get out because she had no plans nor wanted to go home just yet.

“Wait, Elsy. May you stay back for a second?”

Elsy came into a halt when hearing Jyp talk to her. Nodding her head, she went closer to him. “Yes?”

“How long have you been training for?”

“About 4 years now.” She answered.

“Honestly, you have great skills and your vocals are very much stable. You really don’t need much more training.”

Elsy let out a small laugh. “Thank you.” She bowed. “I’m just waiting for that opportunity to debut now.”

“You definitely need to be in a group already.” Jyp said. “What would you think about joining a group?”

Elsy thought for a moment. “I mean, I don’t know how I would feel, maybe a little weird since the group already debuted and then there would be me joining it after. It might confuse the fans.”

“We could make it work, especially since this group is barely starting out.”

Elsy looked at Jyp slightly confused. “Well what group would you want me to join?”

“Got7.”

The girl stood silent as she looked at Jyp with confusion. “Got7? A boy group? You want me to join a boy group?”

“I know it may sound a little weird to you but I think it could work. Bring the group some attention. This would be somwthing no one has ever seen before.”

“Would the name change?”

Jyp chuckled. “Name would still be the same except of course there will be eight of you.”

“I don’t know.”

“C’mon, Elsy. With your vocals I think you would fit in well with them.”

“Why me, though?”

“Because after these evaluations, you were the best out of all of them. And like I said you need to be in a group already. It may not have turned out how you wanted it to be when debuting in a group but you’ll be in a group and isn’t that what you want?”

“Yes.” Elsy said hesitantly. She thought it over for a moment, realizing she was finally getting her chance to debut. It wasn’t how she had pictured it but right now she wasn’t thinking about that. Elsy was going to take the opportunity.

“Okay, I’ll do it.”

“Perfect!” Jyp exclaimed. “I’ll have a meeting with the boys and then have you come in a little after and be introduced.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Elsy smiled.

After Jyp dismissed himself from Elsy, she let out a breath as she watched the door closed. She only hoped she made the right decision.

“You called us?” Jaebum questioned once he opened the door. The whole group came in and sat down at the table.

“Yes.” Jyp started. “I’m here to tell you all something that I have planned for you guys”

“What is it?” Jinyoung asked.

“I’m going to just tell you guys straight forward but you guys are going to get a new member.”

The room turned dead silent as the whole group looked at each other, then at Jyp in confusion. They didn’t know how to feel about the news.

“A new member?” Jaebum broke the silence. “Don’t you think it’s a little late to add a new member? You know, since we already debuted and all.”

“Yeah, but having a new member now would probably have people talking. You know, get some kind of exposure out there.”

“So will we be Got8?” Bambam curiously asked, causing everyone to have a little chuckle.

“No.” Jyp laughed. “You guys will still be Got7, the only difference is there will be eight of you instead. We’ll make it work.”

“So when do we meet him?” Jackson asked.

“And do we have a day in whether we want him or not?” Jaebum asked after Jackson.

“No.” Jyp said. “Because I already made the decision.”

A soft knock was heard from the door. “And to answer your question, Jackson. You guys will be meeting her right now.” Jyp opened the door for Elsy to step in.

“Her?” Youngjae questioned.

When Elsy walked in, the room got silent once again and all eyes were on her as she entered. She smiled softly at the group as Jyp lead her to her seat. She sat next to Bambam who smiled back at her.

“Everyone, this is Elsy. She will be joining you guys.”

The room continued to stay silent, no one really knowing what to say. So Jyp cleared his throat. “I’ll step out for a few minutes. Get you guys to talk for a bit and get to know each other.”

Once he left, Jackson was the first to break the silence. “So, Elsy? What is it that you do?”

“I sing and dance.” She replied. “And a little bit of rapping.”

“Aye! That’s awesome.” Bambam cheered. “What did you think when Jyp said you were going to join the group?”

“How did this even came about?” Jinyoung asked.

“Well, he was doing evaluations and I was one of the trainees who was doing one today. He dismissed us and he talked to me after everyone left.” Elsy cleared her throat. “He told me I was good enough to already be in a group and told me to join you guys.”

“I found it odd to be honest.” Elsy chuckled. “Like being the only girl and there being eight members instead of seven.”

“I kinda dig the idea of having you in the group.” Jackson said. “It’s different but a good different.”

“Yeah, same!” Yugyeom said out loud. He came closer to Bambam to whisper in his ear. “She’s hot.”

Bambam snorted as he shoved Yugyeom away from him.

Elsy smiled. “I hope you guys aren’t too uncomfortable of me joining.”

“We’ll just have to get used to it that’s all.” Jaebum said. “Other than that, welcome to the group, Elsy.”

The boys nodded and smiled at Elsy. Although, Youngjae still thought it was a bit weird that she was joining the group.

Soon after, Jyp came back in the room with a smile plastered on his face. “I hope you guys had enough time to talk. Elsy, come with me so we can go over your contract.”

The girl happily got up from her seat to follow Jyp, waving goodbye at the group as she closed the door behind her.

“I can’t be the only one who finds this a bit odd.” Youngjae said once the team was alone.

Jinyoung shrugged his shoulders. “It is, but not much we can do. Jyp already made the decision to put her in the group so she must be really good.”

“This is going to be interesting.”

My got7 concert experience in Newark

Hello everyone! I just wanted to make a blog post about my experience at the Got7 show. Because it was honestly the best Kpop concert or the best concert I have ever been to period and let me tell you why: Got7 loves their Ahgase so fucking much and it shows.

First of all, they were so freaking close to me and I about died. 

(HELLO THAT IS MY BIAS KIM YUGYEOM RIGHT FREAKING IN FRONT OF ME.)

Okay so let me just tell you something here. Got7 interacts with their fans, and each other so much it’s the most precious thing I have ever seen.

Yugyeom took a fans phone and took a selfie with it and gave it back to her. Bambam grabbed a towel for the fans that got wet from them throwing their water everywhere. They took gifts that the fans had brought for them. They went up to the fans and shook their hands. Jackson dancing with a security guard trying to get him hyped up for the show. They talked to us. It felt like a giant family just catching up and having a fun party together rather than a concert.

They take every opportunity to tell us how much they love us and appreciate our support.

JB said he had a nightmare before the concert that he was playing in front of an empty arena. He actually said they felt a lot of pressure for this tour having to play the bigger arenas. They all were afraid they weren’t going to sell enough tickets and there weren’t going to be many people there. The show was sold out. It still blows my mind that they are so humble and don’t realize just how loved they are. Jackson even said he’s scared for the future because he doesn’t know if 10 or 15 years from now he’ll still be making music, but said as long as Ahgase are still there, Got7 will still be there. Mark promised this as well. He said Got7 will be here for us forever. And that just melted my heart.

So here’s some highlights that happened at the show

Jinyoung pretending to read the fans minds all psychometric style and saying oh you’re thinking you love got7 very much. Then pointing to a fan and saying why are you shaking your head. Oh you’re thinking this guy, he lies.

Bambam pretending to read Yugyeom’s mind and saying “ooooh this guy has a very dirty mind” and Yugyeom getting flustered.

YUGYEOM’S BACK TATTOO.

Bambam asked JB to describe his solo song he said it was about wanting to go for a night ride. Bambam asked JB where he wanted to go for his night ride and I AM PRETTY SURE he said he wanted to go to Hong Kong and Jackson being the flirt he is being like, oh who do you want to go with me? 😉 And Bambam quickly being like okay we’re done with this question let’s move on.

Bambam asked JB to pick between JJ Project and Jus2 and JB said “I pick Got7″ My heart. 😭

The fans quietly doing the fanchant during Miracle, idk why I found this so cute like the song is so soft so the fanchant was soft I loved this.

And then proceeding to ask for the guys to do the same. There were a lot of guys at the show I was pleasantly surprised. 

The guy a few rows in front of me gave up his seat to a short girl who was having trouble seeing. Did I mention Ahgase are like the nicest fandom? Yeah.

And when the members were talking PEOPLE LISTENED. They didn’t just scream their heads off. Ahgase were respectful, and that was seriously the best thing to witness. 

All of the members worked so hard on their English so they could speak the entire concert without a translator that meant so much.

WE GOT 2 ENCORES THANKS TO MR. JACKSON WANG

Bambam insisting it was the last song, and Jackson saying “UNLESS YOU WANT ANOTHER ONE!” Then the other members trying to walk away and insisting it was the last song until Jackson goes “UNLESS YOU WANT ANOTHER ONE!”

Got7′s stable live vocals, all of the dance breaks and remixes of their songs. Seriously it was everything. 

They said all the want is for Ahgase to be proud of them, and to be proud to be their fans. Well I am so incredibly proud. 

The short and long of this is, Got7 loves Ahgase, Ahgase loves Got7 which makes for the best concert experience. As long as I can get tickets I will continue going to see Got7, because they are so kind and humble and deserve all of the love in the world.

Got7 : the 7 lovable weirdos

Hi, its been a long time since I wrote here something.  There is something I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite groups: Got7 I went to their concert in Berlin, now 10 days ago. Since then I wanted to write about the members and a bit about the concert. How I experienced it and what I think about the members.

 So have fun reading it :)

Start:

So, for clearing some things, how did I get to know these seven weirdos? It all started with that one video, a friend of mine sent to me. They were singing 'never ever' in a talk show with the voice-changing microphones. I didn't think much about it. I just thought it wasn't funny. For a while I avoid, ignored them.  I even didn't watch the whole video to be honest. I can't remember what happened, but I started to watch them again. And the first member I fell for was Mark. 

Mark Yi En Tuan

Mark, my first bias is one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen. He is on the quieter side like me but can be a real weirdo and loud. Like me. For me, he was always the beautiful, quiet one with the beautiful smile. He looks, without being mean, inconspicuous. And I think that’s also a trade I found really interesting. He doesn't want to stand out, but he wants to be recognized as an artist. And indeed, being quiet and being like that is a charming point. The atmosphere he radiates is comfortable and makes me calm down. But now I think, it became more stable. He is now a bit more open. I recognized that, when I went to the concert. Of course, English was THE language we understood there, but he really talked a lot. And for me, I was very happy to hear as much from him as I could.

Im Jaebum

He is really out there to ruin my life with pleasure. So Jaebum became my second bias for a while, before I took the whole group. If we take another example at the concert; he really stood out there. He was even more charismatic than I ever experienced. I really like the bad boy vibe he radiates and I'm falling for him all the time again. The fact, that he looks annoyed too, makes him more attractive. Because I'm not that different. I think I choose my bias when we have something in common. His character fascinates me, because he can be serious, but also funny and easy-going. For me personally, I like more the serious side of him more, cause guess what, I'm more on the serious side. This healthy mix needs Got7. And for them, JB is a real blessing.

Jackson Wang

A real fluff ball full of energy. I really adore him. He always biaswrecks me, but he never got into the dangerous zone. I don’t know why, but he has the vibe of just wanting to be friends with him. I mean he'd be the perfect husband material, because he is funny, also charismatic and incredibly handsome. But he has to stay in his zone. The manly looks, like JB has, makes me feel things I never felt before. Also, the fact he is an extra loud and funny ass, makes me feel more in danger. But on the other side I feel really safe. Or better said, my bias list feels more safe. At the concert, he was like I thought he was. There were the other members that were different from where I 'know' them. But Jackson was Jackson, the man I got to know through the videos.

Park Jinyoung

Park Jinyoung. The reason why I'm really attracted to him is, that he seems more annoyed of people than JB. I even think he is my soulmate. He seems to hate his members but deep down he loves them. At the concert, for me, he didn't stand out that extremely. Even Youngjae was more interesting to me.  But after the concert, when I started to write this here, I fell deeply in love with him. He was just that beautiful human since ever. The black hair, his face and his smiles.

 Choi Youngjae

Oh, he is so cute. Besides Jackson, he is also a really big fluffball. A talented, wonderful boy with the funniest laugh I've ever heard. I can't stop smiling. Also, his voice is unbelievable. One thing I was really excited for was, that I could hear his voice and vocals. Also at the concert I had a moment I never had with him before. After they performed a few songs, they started to talk a little bit. As he appeared on the big screen, suddenly just one thought crossed my mind and since then it haunts me; "Wow, he is such a handsome human." I was overwhelmed for just a short amount of time. These moments I got more and more often since then. Its no just with him, it happened with everybody.

BamBam – Kunpimook Bhuwakul

Oh, this boy, stepped too far into my zone. He also really stood out to me at the concert. And for a short amount of time I was really attracted to him. But seriously, he looks gorgeous with the glasses. It doesn't matter which color, he just looks stunning. I never thought he would have such an impact on me. Another trade I liked, was that he was funny. Usually I am attracted to funny idols, but I can't really connect with them and they never became my bias, even they appear very handsome. And I'm going to lie, when I say, I didn’t have him as a bias for a week. But I realized we're not that similiar, and I don’t have much in common with him. Still he is a really handsome man, who is funny and a bit crazy.

Kim Yugyeom

To be honest, I like Yugyeom but I'm not that big of a fan of him. I guess he is just not my type. But he is a really talented dancer and singer. At the concert, he didn't stand, out for me as well. Even he had a solo stage with Jinyoung. I'm impressed how he can fascinate me just with his dance moves. I know it sounds a bit like a contrary, but I don't really know what to think. I just like him, but I'm not overwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, I am an OT7 Stan, but I really can't connect with him.

And I think its normal. Everybody has this member, where you can't really connect with. For me, its Yugyeom.

So it’s still Mark but JB and Jinyoung took over my heart. For the moment. I don’t know what the future brings or takes.

she was here out of sheer determination. it hurt to see so many of her friends gone, both old and new, but she had to keep going. she tries not to think about of all of her friends, only somi and doyeon remain (plus some new ones she’s recently made in the competition).

there’s no surprise that the fight between sana and herself is kept in. she’s not sure how the public will receive it but considering she’s been getting dragged over dating someone (and she’s not even an idol), she figures this wouldn’t bode well. it would only sully her image further.

in all, she isn’t thrilled with the concept of a high touch. somehow her recent track record had shattered that actual nice image she had going for her so far. no one cared about her talent once it was assumed that she had a boyfriend. she became nothing more than an entity tied to a fictitious relationship. it was sad but that’s how it was. even if she did a back tuck into a split, all of the comments would just talk about how fucking annoying or overplayed she (somehow) was because she was “dating junhoe”.

since she and yugyeom broke up, their group chat where they’d laugh about the comments and articles talking about her relationship together. dealing with this alone kind of fucking sucked. it was sexist (she faced the brunt of the negative comments because she was a girl) and insulting. she only expects the high touch to go terribly. for now, she was going to focus on making her performance worth while.

her new group was consisted in what she can only imagine to be left overs. by the time she had chosen a song to perform, it was clear what type of vibes everyone was going for. no one had picked h.a.m’s song despite being well respected seniors in the industry (and every single member going on to have successful solo careers). that’s perfectly fine with chungha. she could do the rendition justice by putting true enthusiasm into the performance.

being paired up with bora was exciting though. the other hot number in the mgas (she figures bora is number one now, now that hyuna has been booted off the show). maybe it’s a little bit of a blessing. maybe finally finally some god above will have mercy on chungha and let her win first place. if there was one thing that she wanted was to be able to say that she got first at least one time on this god forsaken show.

the group was discussing ages as to understand how to address one another. chungha was surprised to discover that bora was younger than she was. it made her feel a century old. the real shock came when jinsoul revealed herself to be a ‘00 liner. chungha’s eyes widened in shock. “really?” she exclaimed. “i thought you were near my age at least.” it was clear that she wasn’t the only one who felt the same. chungha turned her attention to changmin, who was the maknae of the group being a ‘01 liner. “you guys make me feel old.”

changmin tried to help by saying she wasn’t that old. she laughed. “ah, i feel my skin wrinkling just from you saying that!” she joked. she knew she wasn’t that old by general standards but in the industry, she may as well be considered a maiden at this age. she turns to irene, waiting for her to share her age. and it turns out that irene was a year older. oh thank god, she thinks to herself. for once she wasn’t the eldest in the damn group but it meant that irene was.

“don’t worry,” she tells the elder. “women age like fine wine. and you’re very fine, unnie.” she winks and laughs, reaching to playfully squeeze the other’s hand.

it’s not hard to adjust the formations to suit five members. with the way the current formations were made it seem like they were better tailored for an odd number group. it was just a matter of making whomever was singing centre. it made things move a lot more smoothly for them. line distribution wasn’t difficult either. it was clear that bora was getting the rap. jinsoul and chungha were the strongest singers of the group. changmin and joohyun would split the lines that were not miyu and sujin’s.

while practising, jinsoul let her know that she knew a good technique to make her singing stronger. “ah, teach me your secrets,” chungha says to the younger one. when jinsoul reveals that it was singing while planking, chungha’s demeanor changes. “planking? are you crazy?” she chuckles in slight disbelief. maybe it would seem less extreme if this was actually a vocally challenging song. but it wasn’t. for the most part the song was extremely easy.

jinsoul seemed serious about the technique though. even if chungha thought it was kind of crazy, she couldn’t say no and hurt her feelings. she got into position with a sigh. all singers had their crazy methods. it made her abs hurt but she supposed she could see why this helped. it forced you to be smarter with your breath control. doesn’t mean that chungha would make this a habit going forward. she was sure to tell jinsoul that her crazy planking idea maybe wasn’t so extreme as she thought.

“chunghaha noona!”

chungha’s head pops up, almost confused with how she was addressed. the confusion shows on her face. the confusion turns into amusement once chungha catches onto the new affectionate name. he calls for her attention one more time. when he says, “chunghaha noona”, she’s actually ready with a response.

“bless you.”

she smiles after she says it. the joke catches changmin off guard but they both get a good giggle out of it. it was a weird nickname. it was a first. eventually she’d grow used to it.

it turns out that he wanted help with his facial expressions while performing. she felt kind of flattered that he was coming to her of all people. she definitely had more than enough time to spend with the younger.

”you know, you remind me of somi,” she tells him with a laugh. with the way they’re both hyper and youthful was like they were two sides of the same coin. it made her miss the younger but she was proud that somi could finish this competition on her own.

chungha took a good chunk out of her time to sit down with changmin and really go over the process of facials. she was sure how to stress how easy it was to overdo it and get negative reviews. they both sat in front of the mirror some time just practising facials then practising while singing, then dancing. when changmin proved that he was capable of pulling it off, she was proud. she congratulated him, reaching out to squish his cheeks. “you did so well changminnie!”

when she and bora are alone, they get along surprisingly well. it was just easy how well they clicked and bonded over similar things. they had the same frustrations, similar previous experiences and current thoughts. it led to chungha feeling the most comfortable around bora. when they both came for late night practise, it wasn’t awkward. from the very first moment from when chungha jokingly told bora to call her unnie (and bora quickly complied with adorable aegyo), chungha knew that she was going to enjoy her time spent with bora.

chungha sits across from her, snacks in her lap after they decide to take a break from practise. they were talking about the competition so far and the evil editing mnet has done so far. “you know that junhoe and I aren’t dating, right?” it was the truth that needed to finally come to light. bora laughed in surprise but revealed that she’s actually not shocked that the dating thing was lit real.

”yeah, we never said we were. everyone just assumed and then crucified me because I had a boyfriend. we found it pathetic, honestly,” she confesses. but now that the group chat no longer existed, it was kind of empty and she was dealing with vicious ass comments by herself. “I feel like people hold that against me despite showing promise. who I’m dating shouldn’t have any bearing on my likability as a contestant. I’m not a trainee. I’m allowed to date if I want to.”

come time for the performance, chungha was more nervous about the hi touch event than actually doing why so lonely. it wasn’t a hard song by any means. chungha felt as if practises went without a hitch. it was the calmest, chillest song she’s performed so far in the mgas. though it was incredibly optimistic of her, she was hoping that doing this performance would show her diversity as a contestant.

jinsoul opens them up for the song. she had good and stable vocals for the song. chungha was surprised she would be the other half of the main vocals for their team. since the competition she’s been using her singing a lot more than her rapping. she feels as though it’s been a bit of a forgotten skill of hers. no worries, though. she’s noticed that having to use her voice regularly again felt nice.

bora’s rap is strong and stable even live. she does have that kind of swagger that makes you pay attention to her while she performs. and chungha can’t help but meet bora’s eyes and smile at some point during their performance.

thank god her heels don’t snap this time and she’s not forced to dance barefoot. she’d cry if she’d have to relive that experience a second time — because she’s sure some netizen would rip her to shreds and say she’s doing it on purpose.

the end came smoothly from both jinsoul and herself. when the group got into their ending positions, chungha threw in one final wink to the camera. and just like that, the second to last performance of the mgas was over.

My Ideal Top 11 (Updated)

Still feeling sad about today’s elimination, but I wanted to update this. My original Top 11 lost 2 of its members and I also took one person I originally had in mine out. Here’s my new Top 11!

*Taking into consideration the ranking after Episode 10 and a few clips I have seen/news I have heard; I have not actually seen the full episode so some things that may have happened are not taken into account

MMO Entertainment’s Yoon Jisung

Jisung is someone the Top 11 really needs. He’s clearly got the variety factor down. He has a bright personality, but at the same time is very caring and a good leader for the others as the oldest. He also has shown he is a stable vocalist, dancer, and capable of a sub-rapper part. Jisung is the most popular trainee among the other contestants of Produce 101 (in terms of who they would vote for), as shown in a segment in Episode 10. I believe he is fully capable of making it in the final episode.

Ardor and Able’s Ha Sungwoon

Our Sungwoon, who made an amazing climb to #3 in the rankings! Sungwoon, in my opinion, is the second best vocalist left in Produce 101. He has a very clean, pure voice that is perfect for a main vocal spot. He is also a very good dancer. It really sucks that Taehyun was eliminated, but I believe Sungwoon is on the path to debuting with the Top 11!

Pledis’s Kim Jonghyun

The nation’s leader! Jonghyun has proved time and time again that he has all the qualities needed for a boy group member. He has lots of stage experience as well that could be used help the others a lot. His rap voice is deep but comfortable to listen to and is always something to look forward to; definitely worthy of the main rapper position. Overall, Jonghyun is one of the people I believe is irreplaceable in the Top 11.

Fantagio’s Ong Seongwoo

Honestly, how can I not include Seongwoo? This guy’s dance abilities are  exceptional and he has a stable voice when performing. He has also used his fun personality to secure his screentime in every episode, which I commend him on. He said after his Never performance that he wanted to be someone who was needed; I believe he is that person and deserves a spot in the Top 11.

Independent trainee Kim Jaehwan

CAN YOU SAY MAIN VOCAL??? In my opinion, Jaehwan is the best singer left in the competition, hands down. He is the only one on my list who not currently in the Top 11, but he’s definitely deserving of it. Since his audition, he has continuously proved that he is an extremely skilled vocalist. Paired with Ha Sungwoon, they’re a force to be reckoned with; did you guys see them in Downpour? (Also why are there no individual gifs of Jaehwan from the Never performance?? So I brought back the iconic Sorry Sorry)

MMO Entertainment’s Kang Daniel

The current #1, and fully deserving of the rank. Daniel is an all-around performer with good skills in dancing, rapping, and singing, especially the first. He’s both sexy and cute and has this feeling of an older brother that is very comforting. He’s a perfect addition to the group, possibly even as a co-leader with Jonghyun. 

Maroo Entertainment’s Park Jihoon

People may remember me as someone who never understood why so many people jumped on the Park Jihoon wagon, but honestly, I never thought he was bad and now he’s in my Top 11. The Top 11 will need someone who can draw in more fans and Jihoon is clearly capable of that. Every group also needs someone who can be in charge of cuteness and aegyo, aka Jihoon. He also has great facial expressions while dancing, which is also a strength of his. He has countless charms that will definitely place him in the Top 11.

Brand New Music’s Park Woojin

Woojin was one of the people I wanted to include the most last time I made my Top 11 list, but at the time he didn’t make it over the other rappers still in the competition. Now, I believe he is the second best rapper left and needed in the Top 11. He is also an AMAZING dancer and has shown he is capable of choreographing. That skill is very valuable and, along with Daniel, could be used to choreograph for the group, like Chungha did for I.O.I’s Whatta Man. He has overcome many obstacles including sickness and his own shyness to get to where he is now and I hope he maintains his current place in the Top 11.

C9 Entertainment’s Bae Jinyoung

Like Woojin, Jinyoung has grown leaps and bounds throughout Produce 101. He used to stare at the ground and lacked confidence, but he is now a bright, expressive performer ready to debut. He has a distinct vocal color similar to BTS’s V that would bring something different to the group mainly filled with high tenors. He also has been one of the main visuals of Produce 101 since the beginning, which is (as much as some people hate) a necessary part of an idol group. Jinyoung would hold a place in the group that no other trainee could fill.

Brand New Music’s Lee Daehwi

Daehwi was the first trainee everyone knew and, for many, fell in love with. He is full of fun and is very cute, even if it is sometimes a little extra (we love him for it). He, like Jinyoung, has a unique voice that I honestly don’t know who to compare to; the best I’ve got is GOT7′s Yugyeom. In his audition, he showed that he is capable of producing his own music, which is a valuable skill that would help the Top 11. He can be a stan attracter with Jihoon but also hold his own with his producing skills.

Brave Entertainment’s Kim Samuel

WHO HAS FINALLY GOTTEN BACK INTO THE TOP 11 WOOOOOOO!!!!! Samuel is my favorite trainee left in the competition and is my #1 pick for the Top 11. He is another all-around trainee, stable in dancing, rapping, and singing. In addition to that, he has tremendous stage presence and facial expressions, perfect to be the group’s center. He is also the most popular trainee internationally, as shown by many fan polls. With his past training and popularity with Seventeen and 1Punch, he is full of experience and knowledge of the music industry at a very young age. Overall, Samuel has to be in the Top 11. He’s completely irreplaceable.
