Story behind his name is that Yugo uses the d-wheel to get Rin to the hospital to give birth just for speed's sake, but halfway there Rin screams and Yugo pulls over to find surprise! There's now a newborn baby on the d-wheel because the little guy didn't want to wait. Yugo's like 'Born right on a d-wheel, this kid's gonna be a riding duel legend and deserves to be named after one' and names him Yusei.

Currently imagining Yugo singing "Growing Old With You" (the one by Adam Sandler) to Rin, and my heart is MELTING 😭 >ω< and obv Rin's heart is melting even more and she prolly definitely wanna cry and she's just holding back tears because Yugo's voice is, for some reason, so soft and its just perfect and him bein this way is unusual bc hes usually full of energy, so him being soft is new to Rin 🥺🥺
