Asking why characters in Yugioh solve everything with a card game instead of punching each other is like asking why characters in a fantasy setting that also happens to have guns still use swords to solve everything instead of shooting their opponent. Does magic systems mean nothing to you. The beauty of varied fighting styles. Characterising using the worlds tools and weapons. You imbecile.

I think one of my favorite things about Yugioh is how unafraid it is to go all in on a card game being the driving force of this series.

The world is ending and you know what we're going to use to save it? Card games.

What is the villain's method of taking over the world? Card games but evil.

How do characters choose to resolve literally any conflict? Through a card game.

We need a way to resurrect people. Good thing there's a card that can do that.

1)Silly little positive guy who wants the best for people and will be put through the absolute wringer

2)Mechanics trying to overthrow a corrupt company/government system

I hope you have some great and relaxing days, whether you celebrate something or not, I want you all to be the happiest you can be. Seriously, I love you all so much. When I came back after my break and there were still so many familiar faces and new readers, it was just so moving to me. I'm so grateful. I'm really looking forward to another year with all of you. <3 (I'm pretty sure this isn't my last post before the new year, but I just wanted to say this anyway.)
