the new boyhood 官推s (company assigned ships) are so interesting to me bc these are pairings that so few people were invested in. like, 江梁一梦 (xinxi/shiyu) is popular for being 2/3 of the xinxi-shiyu-tan yitian group, 鑫心相尹 (xinhao/junlan) were inseparable for the entirety of asy, and now??

these days they've been promoting xinxi/junlan, shiyu/muqing and xinhao/dianjia in promo photos and video content etc.

the first one i can get if you think about their friendship (when they were on 发光的名字, yuehua's in-company survival show that never got aired, they were pretty close too) (fun fact! quanzhe and haolian were both on the show too)

shiyu and muqing are also pretty popular together. imo xinhao and dianjia are just together bc dianjia is chronically straight and they were left ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

like, the new pairings are okay? they have their own fanbases i guess even if they're small. i can even get not promoting xinxi/shiyu anymore. but why would yuehua give up xinhao/junlan. is this bc of loong9

fandom thoughts & are cpfs really gonna get banned from yibo related comment sections? 📝

i may regret publishing this cause it will, like it always does, attract the wrong sort but whatever. i don’t really care. for someone who has been here for a good number of years, i have really learned to pick my battles especially fandom-wise. i can tell you that every week, there will always be some kind of trouble going on with fans and you will be exhausted if you obsess over each one of them. i have said before that if there is anything that will drive me out of stanning the boys, it’s the toxic fandom — so that’s why i mostly steer clear. hence, having this small space for myself on tumblr.

the fandom disagreements, whether that’s within cpfs, so/o vs cpfs, so/o vs other so/os and we somehow get dragged is always gonna be there. and it’s not really unique to our fandom. the question tho is why you are here? is it to participate in fan wars or to consume content related to xz and wyb? is it to be famous and get followers? etc personally, i’m here for xz and wyb. the active fandom is a bonus. there are so many things i love about the cpf community, but my priority will always be xz and wyb + their career. i mostly get involved if the issue makes it on HS and if it’s to amplify something positive within the fandom.

lately, i’ve mildly spoke up about people accusing cpfs of buying likes cause it was all bs.

which leads us to the next topic of being banned..

i guess this is a “hot topic” in other platforms that love drama.

so for the past days, including weibo night, cpfs have been commenting en masse in comments section. for example, with yibo’s weibo night post and ybo’s recent post about bystander ep photos. what you will notice is the use of ❤️💛 💚 to highlight that we are cpfs. the same thing is done in xz & xzs post. the only reason why we are more visible in the top comments of yibo posts is because motos are disorganized. i said what i said. i see efforts for their coordination but cpfs are just more organized when it comes to doing likes and votes. xfx are so much better than us on this tho. they have lots of professional fans. omg i’m gonna get dragged for being a xfx lol but it’s the truth.

you must notice that the friction between cpfs and motos have been happening for a while now. going as far back as SDC 5 finals ( even before that actually ) and so on. this is why i’m not surprised that this stunt from cpfs triggered them again. ⚠️

the short answer is, no one is getting banned. what they can do tho, and that includes YBO is to report these comments as spam. and if you look at it, they do look like spam posts. if a user gets reported multiple times, then that is when the ban comes in. i don’t think they will be spending money on censoring certain emojis tho. i tried right now and you can still send it.

i have seen some conversations on wb among cpf, that the comments should not be like this. it should really be actual comments on what is being shared. that we should not include xz’s name or face. that’s what i like about the fandom, cause we can admit if we do something wrong or if we need to improve in some aspects. we don’t blame other people, which is what other fandoms love to do btw. it’s all they can do. lol.

and it doesn’t help that in yuehua’s recent post regarding yibo’s lawsuits, the top comment is about demanding to control the comments section of yibo related posts. so of course they will look into that. sadly, the group that the company will always appease are the solo fans. it is what it is.

so that’s basically what the issue is about.

i’m actually just observing at this point but it’s not where my focus is. i am personally excited about saturday and seeing captain yibo 💥 plus i have other interests and things happening irl. this is why i don’t get people who seem to only be in fandom to start fights or obsess over cpfs. can’t relate.

i’m not saying that we should ignore everything and pretend that things are perfect. the point is, do not obsess over every fandom drama. also, look at things from cpf side before so/os. people usually come to me, sending me things that so/os say and my question is why the hell are you reading their posts? why are you in there? let’s stay on our lane. they are so/os, of course they will be biased. and don’t expect me to be always up in arms about stuff like this. my energy for over reacting is primarily for cpns and not fandom wars & drama.

lastly, being a cpf is not for the glass hearted. if you are weak-willed, this is is not for you. or maybe it is and this is the fandom that will build you up. i hope more and more people will find that perfect balance in participating in this fandom. that we set and implement boundaries — i know it’s especially hard for the new ones — when you are bombarded with the negativity. it’s not all that. there is so much more positive things to gain in being a cpf if you know where to look 🫶🏼

summary: being best friends with kim gyuvin meant you were dragged along for many of his strange adventures, including meeting his trainee friends as yuehua one day after school. what happens when you meet the lovely trainee named ricky?

a/n: I'm listening to "I Don't Understand but I Luv U" by seventeen, and can I say what an absolute masterpiece.

"come on, you said you wanted to meet them!" gyuvin exclaims, dragging you across the hallway at the yuehua training building.

"no, you said you wanted me to meet them", you reply, rolling your eyes lightheartedly at your friend's excitedness.

you had met gyuvin upon joining the nearby high school in the middle of the year, following a move into the city with your parents, and he was assigned to give you a tour of the school, introducing you to all of the important people.

to him, it didn't seem like much, only a nice gesture for someone new to be able to settle into the new environment more appropriately, but to you, it meant a lot, knowing you had someone to look out for you, and from that moment on, you knew you and him were going to be wonderful friends.

gyuvin had proposed the idea that you meet his trainee friends at yuehua so you could meet more people and gain a wider friendship group, practically insisting that you met his younger friend by the name yujin.

if he had to put up with gyuvin's clinginess just like you did, you felt sorry for the younger boy.

moving back into the present, gyuvin opens the door to one of the training rooms where seven other boys seemed to be, four particularly exhausted after running the same routine over and over again until it was practically perfection.

"guys!" gyuvin shouts, gathering the attention of the seven trainees, "I brought my friend, y/n, the one from school I told you about!"

the trainees all nod, remembering how excited gyuvin had been when telling them he was going to bring you one day to practice, one trainee in particular looking at you a lot longer than the others.

they had all gotten up to greet you, learning your name, and sharing theirs in return, brian, yoo seungeon, ji yunseo, zhang hao, han yujin, ollie and finally a blonde guy named ricky, whom just looking at had you blushing.

"my name is ricky", he says, grabbing your hand and shaking it lightly, "and you, are beautiful".

the room explodes with screams and sounds of disgust coming mostly from the youngest pair, whilst you simply duck your head, attempting to hide the growing pink blush on your face.

"okay, okay" zhang hao interrupts, the authority in his voice silencing the room quickly, "ricky, that was horrible, never do that again" he continues, apologising lightly to you.

"oh! its okay!" you laugh in return, sneaking glances at the blonde boy, trying to look at him for longer because if you were beautiful, he was stunning.

gyuvin takes you away from the boys, setting your bag down before running back to ricky, hitting him lightly and proceeding to hug him.

you smile at the boys interactions, unaware that someone was also sneaking glances at you, trying to hide the warmth spreading around his neck.

maybe if you continued coming to practice with gyuvin, he would learn more about you and would be able to eventually ask you out, he wonders.

and return to practice with gyuvin the next day, you did. again and again until finally, ricky found the courage to ask you out on a date.

It was the first week after boys planet ended, and the boys were just getting settled at the dorms, they were all so happy to be together but were still getting used to the idea of what's about to come.

Especially Yujin, who is the maknae and has only just started attending high school. He was still feeling a bit akward with the older members as he felt he maybe was a bit too young. Yujin was afraid they would think of him as a baby who can't do anything, which of course was the farthest thing from reality.

But still, he tried to stay respectful while he got to know the other members.

Today though, the boys talked about going out for dinner together. Seeing as the youngest was still hesitant to open his mouth around them, Hanbin directly asked him if he'd like to join.

"I think I'll stay in, thank you for offering hyung." Yujin respectfully said as he shyly smiled at the leader.

Hanbin smiled and nodded, walking away. Of course his yuehua family noticed the change in the young boy, but they just thought he needed some more time until he's ready to show his true colors.

This time, apparently Gyuvin had enough of the shy, unrealistic yujin wondering around and about the dorms, he gave a glance to Hao, who immediately nodded back and pointed to himself and gyuvin as he spoke to hanbin.

"We'll stay too, hanbin."

Hanbin nodded and gathered all the other boys who were ready to go.

Hao went to stand next to gyuvin, who was glancing over at a very quiet and peacefull looking Yujin from a distance. "What's up with him?"

Gyuvin shrugged. "I've been trying to figure out but I don't know. Thought we'd get it out of him forcefully."

Hao raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by forcefully?"

Gyuvin smirked and started wiggling his fingers in the air. "The way I always do it."

Hao shook his head with a smile. "Only letting you get away with it because I'm not the victim this time. Let's go."

And with that, the two boys walked over to where yujin was sat on the couch, watching cartoons. Not wasting a second, Gyuvin sat on the boy's hips and hao raised the youngest's hands above his head and sat on them.

It was all happening a little too quickly for poor Han yujin to comprehend.

"What are you doing?" Yujin stuttered, glancing up at the older boys.

"We're gonna tickle you." Gyuvin simply said.

"W-what?!? No... i- I'm not ticklish." Yujin shook his head and brought his hands In front of his body to protect him.

“oh, you’re not ticklish? i remember differently…” Hao hummed, a fond smile playing on his lips as he looked at the cute boy.

"Then un-remember!" Yujin commanded.

"Listen kid, rules are simple, you tell us what's been bothering you or we tickle it out of you" Gyuvin shrugged. "Personally I would have just gone with the second option but Hao hyung made me give you a chance."

"Nothing is bothering me!" Yujin insisted. He was now full on panicking.

"Take a deep breath Yujinnie, you're gonna need it." Hao laughed as he dug into the kid's underarms.

Yujin didn't even attempt to hold in his laughter and immediately started squirming as much as he could. "Nohohoho!"

“i thought that you said you weren’t ticklish.” gyuvin teased, starting to massage his big hands into Yujin's sides.

"I-I LIEEHED!" The younger confessed.

"Lying is bad!" Hao scolded, moving one hand to Yujin's neck and leaving the other in his armpit.

Meanwhile Gyuvin was starting to knead the rabbit's thighs and knees, making him go balastics.

"I CAHAHANT! PLEHAHAHSE!!" Yujin begged as he laughed loudly.

“wow. you are super ticklish.” hao noted.

"You gonna tell us what's wrong?" Gyuvin asked with a smile.

"Y-YEHEHES!"

"Well then go ahead." Hao giggled.

"Youhu have to stohohop first" yujin let out airy giggles as the two boys stopped.

"Five seconds before we start again. Talk." Gyuvin said with his eyebrow raised.

"Waihaht! Fine... it's just... I just still feel a bit weird with the other members. I feel like I only truly know you two and ricky hyung. What if the others won't like me?" Yujin confessed.

The older boys both awed and got off the maknae, hugging his close from each side. "Don't you even dare think like that, you're so talented and so sweet and kind, no reason for anyone to ever not like you." Hao comforted.

"Yeah, they already love you so much but even they can tell something isn't right! Zb1 wants to get to know their maknae yujin. Let them!" Gyuvin encouraged with one last poke to the boy's side.

Yujin giggled and nodded. "Thank you guys."

"Anytime. Sooooo... it'll be a good bonding experience if tell the others about this little weakness of yours, wouldn't it?" Hao wondered out loud.

It was the summer after high school when Y/n decided to go to her friend’s party only to involve herself with her school’s heartthrob, Kim Gyuvin.

A/N: This is the first story I wrote in a while so pls go easy on me sorry if it isn’t good and some things don’t make sense sorry

It was the first night of the summer, and Y/n was wearing a white long-sleeved collared shirt and black pants. She put on light makeup and then decided to make her way to her friend’s house for a party. She walked out and then went to the bus stop. While waiting she encountered her neighbor and IT boy at her school, Gyuvin. He had a promiscuous reputation, playing with girls, and things like that. He was at the top of his class every semester so his teachers couldn’t be bothered to involve themselves in high school drama. ‘I heard some nasty things about this dude from Seo-yun, it’s better to not get involved’ She thought, planning to avoid the boy. Much to her dismay, he decided to come up to her, sending her a smile that most girls swooned over. 

“Hey, Y/n!” He said as he came up to her. “Are you going to Seo-yun’s party too?” Gyuvin added. “Yeah, I actually am” She replied, not wanting to be rude to him. “Great, so am I, you wanna go together?” He asked her with a smile. “Yeah, sure. I don’t mind” She said, noticing he looked genuinely happy she didn’t wanna dishearten him by declining. “Great! Let’s go then” He said pointing to the bus that just arrived. They both got on the bus sitting next to each other then talking about random things. She found out he has a dog and he’s part of a dance studio called Yuehua.

They soon arrived at the bus stop near Seo-yun’s place and both went out of the bus. The walk there was silent but not awkward, Y/n took the chance to think about things, ‘Gyuvin seems like a polite person though, maybe Seo-yun was lying about it?’ She said while unintentionally staring at him. “You know, if you’re gonna stare at me the entire time might as well ask me out,” He said with a smirk on his face. “Jeez I was just looking at you for like a second and why would I wanna date you? I just met you” She replied, noticing the boy looking dejected. 

“Whatever let’s just go now.” It went silent and awkward for the two teens. They soon arrived at Seo-yun’s place. Knocking on the door then it opens, “Oh hey, Y/n- Woah Gyuvin you actually went?” Seo-yun asked in confusion while opening the door wider as a gesture to come in. “Yeah I mean I don’t have anything else to do so might as well.” He said letting himself in while grabbing Y/n’s hand to drag her along.

Seo-yun looked at the two suspiciously but ignored it and quickly dragged Y/n to where Sooha was waiting for them. “Girl- you got some explaining to do,” Seo-yun said to Y/n while she looked at them confusedly, “What do you mean?” After she said that she quickly realized what they meant. “First off, you came in here with THE Kim Gyuvin, Second, HE HELD YOUR HAND?” Sooha freaked out and looked disgusted. Y/n looked confused, “Listen, I only went with him because he offered to, and like- he just dragged me in? what’s wrong with it?” After Y/n said that Seo-yun made them go to a different room so they can discuss things more privately.

“We told you already okay, HE’S A FUCKING PLAYBOY HE’S JUST GONNA MANIPULATE YOUR FEELINGS LIKE HES DONE WITH ALMOST EVERYONE IN OUR SCHOOL” Seo-yun yelled out feeling frustrated, knowing she had some secret that she didn’t want to admit to her. “Can we just, enjoy the party? I don’t really wanna talk about this right now..” Y/n said nervously, trying to avoid the situation from spilling over. 

“Fine, but we’re talking about this tomorrow,” Seo-yun concluded then all of them went back to the main room. Gyuvin approached Y/n as soon as she left the room. “Hey Y/n do you wanna hang out with me for a bit?” He asked her confidently. She thought about it and noticed none of his friends he seemed to hang around him were there and she didn’t want to embarrass him. “Yeah sure, I’m free anyways.” She said hesitantly

“Great! let’s go then?” He said grabbing her wrist and then taking her to where the drinks and food were. He grabbed a bag of chips while realizing Y/n hasn’t gotten a drink or any food. “Y/n, are you not gonna get anything?” He asked her worriedly. “Nope, I already ate a bit before coming here.” She said.

“That’s good, but you should eat still,” He said. “Yeah, I will” She replied and realized that he isn’t as bad as Seo-yun and Sooha made him out to be. There weren’t many people at the party but the loud music made her cover her ears occasionally. Gyuvin noticed it and asked her “Is it too loud for you? Do you wanna stay on the balcony?” She was surprised he even noticed it.

“I mean only if you want to” She replied back, it got silent between them, the only thing being heard was the loud music blaring from the speakers and the conversations of those around them. “What are you waiting for? let’s go.” He said grabbing her hand again, ‘I swear this is like the 3rd time today’ She thought. 

They went up the stairs and soon reached the balcony. It wasn’t small and was fairly big for a balcony. It was empty except for the fake grass placed on the floor. Gyuvin sat down and Y/n followed soon after. He brought out a bag that literally came out of nowhere and brought out some more snacks. 

“You want some?” He asks Y/n, “I don’t mind” She replied back, getting a choco pie out of the mini bag he had. “How come you’re so nice to me even though we just met?” She asked curiously. “We’ve been classmates for a while and you seem so nice but you never talked to me, I haven’t found the chance to talk to you until today though” It’s true, the pair had been classmates since their freshman year and now they’re on their senior years and Y/n hadn’t approached him because of Seo-yun and Sooha, they always told her that he was a bad person.

“Wow, who knew we felt the same” She muttered under her breath hoping he wouldn’t hear her. “Then why didn’t you talk to me?” He asked her. She was contemplating telling him about Seo-yun and Sooha, “It’s because of Seo-yun and Sooha.” she ended up spilling it. “Huh? What do you mean?” He questioned her, bewildered since last he checked, Sooha and Seo-yun were completely fine with him.

“They think you’re a playboy and would just end up breaking my heart in the end so they never let me talk to you” She said quickly hoping he would change the topic already. “Well don’t listen to them, do what you want to do and if it is talking to me and being my friend then so be it. Just don’t give a fuck about what they think, live your own life, Y/n” He said with his signature smile on his face.

“So would you like to be friends?” She asked nervously, fidgeting with her fingers as she waited for his answer. He grabbed her hands and looked at her endearingly. “Obviously I would, who wouldn’t wanna be friends with you?”

She decided to change the topic so it wouldn’t be that awkward. “You dance right?” She asked him. “I told you on the bus, didn’t I?” He replied to her in a playful tone. “I was wondering if you could teach me kick it by nct 127, I love the choreography for that but I’m not really sure how to do it.” She asked him hesitantly since they were not that close yet. “Sure, I don’t mind. I already learned it a while back, Can I have your number? So we can meet up one of these days” He said bringing out his phone, She put in her number and then returned it to him.

She checked her phone and then realized it was already midnight. “Shoot, I don’t think I can catch a ride home” She panicked since she snuck out and simply couldn’t call her mom to pick her up. “I’ll call an uber, you live around the block yeah? I’ll just walk you home” He offered. “No, I can’t accept it. You’re being too nice.” She said back. “Nope, too late I already called it and we’re friends, right? Obviously, I have to make sure you’re safe.” Gyuvin said in a matter-of-fact tone. 

“Fine whatever, if you insist,” Y/n answered back. They both went down to wait outside for their uber. In the main room, it was nearly empty except for the passed-out Yiren and Minji on the couch, Y/n draped a blanket over the pair. Seeing Y/n be so caring towards her friends made Gyuvin moved by her kindness despite the fact they both tried to not make her friends with him.

“Y/n ! The uber’s here, let’s go” He said. Y/n followed Gyuvin out and they soon both got in the car. The drive back was silent and soon reached Gyuvin’s home. He paid the driver and he drove off. He followed his word and walked her back home. They both said their goodbyes and went off their own ways. Y/n tried to open the front door as quietly as possible and ended up succeeding in getting in without her parents noticing.

The duo soon got close as the weeks went by, without Y/n’s best friends knowing of course. She was now getting ready to meet Gyuvin at his house to hang out. She wore a hoodie with some leggings and a sling bag to keep her valuables. She soon heard his car pull up in front of her house. She soon finished applying her face powder and decided to go. It was a monday so her parents weren’t home. She soon got in the car.

“Hey Gyuvinnie !” She greeted him while putting on her seatbelt. “Yo Y/n, How are you?” He said. “I’m doing fine what about you?” She asked him. “Same here but I’m exhausted since I’m trying to improve my dancing skills” He replied back to her question. “Oh that’s nice.” She said while looking out the window. “Speaking of which, why did you take the bus that day? Why didn’t you just drive there yourself?” She asked, curiosity laced in her voice.

“I was grounded at that time so I couldn’t use the car so I just snuck out then took the bus.” He answered. “Then that makes two of us then !” Y/n said while smiling at him. He looked back at her then smiled back. 

It didn’t take long for him to arrive at his home and they both got out and Y/n was surprised on the size of his house. She hadn’t seen the entirety of it during the night of the party because it was dark out and she realized how rich Gyuvin was. “Damn, What the hell” She mumbled under her breath in shock. “Stop staring at my house and just go inside” He said grabbing her by her wrist which seemed to be a habit for him.

“Gyuvin are your parents home?” She asked, “Nope, they’re both out on a business trip” He said. “You wanna go to my practice room? You wanna learn kick it right?” He asked her while she followed him. “Oh yeah I almost forgot, Thanks for reminding me.” She replied back and they walked in his practice room. It looked like a practice room from a dance studio, crazy to think he’s that rich. 

“Okay let’s start” He walked over to the center of the room. “Let’s do some warmups first, shall we?” He offered. They did simple stretches and some exercises. He then brought out his phone then connected it to the speakers. “Do you want to watch the dance practice first or do you wanna go straight to it?” he asked. “I’ll just do it without watching the dance practice first” 

He played the music on his phone, She did well in the first chorus then started to get lost in the 1st verse since she hasn’t watched the dance practice in a while. ‘Shoot I just embarrassed myself, Oh my god he must think I’m terrible now’ She started to slow her movements then stopped altogether. Gyuvin noticed then stopped the music and went over to her.

“Are you okay Y/n?” He noticed that she forgot some parts of the choreography at the start then got nervous afterwards. “We can watch the dance practice first if you want? Then I’ll teach you how to do it” He offered. “Yes please I’m suffering right now” 

Gyuvin went out the room then came back with his laptop and placed it on the floor. She analyzed it and taking note of some parts she did wrong and got up after it ended. Gyuvin then went to Y/n and started showing her the steps for the first verse. 

“So first you move your arms in an inward motion then you move your right leg outwards” He said while demonstrating it. “You can do it separately first then try to do it together.” She started doing it then slowly got the hang of it. “Your making some progress already ! Let’s try first chorus + 1st verse with the music” He said happily

She noticed him looking so passionate while dancing and it made her admire him. She started to fall for him even before she befriended him, her encounters with him in the hallway, or even the way he smiles at her while giving back her test paper. Y/n fell for Gyuvin so hard, but he fell first.

Y/n was able to finish the 1st verse and decided to learn the full song (i dont wanna describe anything I am not a dancer) after practicing the full choreography at least 10 times not including the learning portion they both lay on the floor, exhausted.

“Hey, you wanna eat anything? I can cook some ramyeon if you want?” He asked her sitting up and Y/n following soon after. “Yeah sure, I’m starving right now.” They both got up and walked towards his kitchen, getting a pack of noodles on the way. While waiting they both decided to chat a bit about their hobbies, She found out Gyuvin wanted to be an idol but is unsure about it since it mean giving up his privacy. He also liked singing and playing games. He offered to play some smash bros in his room after eating and she agreed excitedly. 

They both ate silently then afterwards went to his room. He had a nice setup and a tv in his room too. He then set up his switch then booted up the game. He handed her a controller and opened the game. He chose Joker as his character and I chose Bayonetta. 

Y/n was on a losing streak so she tackled Gyuvin to distract him then ended up winning. “Y/nnn That’s just cheating” He pouted then decided to change the game to mario kart. They both chose their characters then played as normal. Y/n ended up winning a lot surprisingly so Gyuvin got revenge. While she was in 1st place he started tickling her. “STOP- hah- PLEASE-” She started saying while in a fit of laughter.

They both didn’t win because they ended up forgetting about the game and ended up fighting each other. After a while they both just laid on the floor looking at the ceiling. “Gyuvinnie, have you decided on what career you wanna do besides being an idol?” She asked him while still looking up. “Not really, being an idol is really what’s on my mind right now. What about you Y/n?” He said while turning his head to look at her. 

“I don’t really have anything in mind but maybe I’ll try to think about it more.” She replied and looked back at him. “You can be a dancer you know? With proper training you can be a great dancer” He suggested. “Hmm.. I’ll think about it when the time comes.” She was considering it ever since Gyuvin started to teach her how to dance kick it.

She got up and started looking for her bag. “Gyuvin, I’ll go now so my parents won’t worry.” She said while reaching her hand for the door knob, before she could twist it open a much bigger hand went on top of her’s and she turned around to see Gyuvin behind her. “Wait can you stay for a bit more Y/n?” he asked her. “ 

“Gyuvinnie, I can’t you know? I still have to do chor-” She got cut off by Gyuvin grabbing her shoulders then pinning her to the wall. ‘huh?’ she was confused and flustered. She started blushing furiously, “Yah, Gyuvin what are you doing? T-This isn’t funny you know...” She said nervously. 

“Y/n... Ever since you introduced yourself in our freshman class, I had a crush on you. The way you were so nice to everyone to the way your eyes would shine when you answered a question in english. That night of the party made me fall for you more, I’m sorry if I made things awkward its fine if you don’t-” 

Before he could complete his sentence, Y/n grabbed his collar then pulled him down so his lips could meet hers. He was caught off guard but after a few moments he kissed back. His lips moved perfectly against hers as he grabbed her waist to deepen it. In response she moved her arms to wrap around his neck.

They both pulled away panting and stayed in each other’s hold for awhile. Gyuvin grabbed her wrist then dragged her to his bed then hugged her. They both stayed like that for awhile until Y/n pops the question. “Gyuvin, what are we exactly?” She asks while sitting up, Gyuvin sits up too while he reached his hand out to cup her cheek. “We can be anything you wanna be, Y/n” He says endearingly while Y/n pulls him into another hug.

“Then I wanna be your girlfriend” She replies quickly. “I will but only if I’ll be your boyfriend” He says with a smirk. They ended up cuddling and falling asleep together.

The next morning Y/n woke up and tried to sit up but Gyuvin’s arm was tightly wrapped around her waist. She realized that she was still in Gyuvin’s house and she never went home. “Oh shoot” She said louder than intended and ended waking Gyuvin up. “What is it Y/n?” He asked while rubbing his eyes. “My parents are gonna kill me.” She said while looking for her bag where she kept her phone. 

“I’ll just take you there, just say you had an impromptu sleepover with Yiren or something?” He suggested. “That’s a good idea but they still might get mad but not as much” She replied, getting out of the bed and fixing her hoodie, While doing that she noticed Gyuvin spacing out and found herself staring at his dark brown irises, even though they were in a darker hue, she liked the way it shined when he does something he loved. 

“Y/n, if you keep staring might as well compliment me already” He says with impatience laced in his voice. “Well sorry, your eyes are just pretty thats why” He blushes at the compliment but regains his composure. “Well they’re pretty because you see your own reflection in them~” He flirts back, while Y/n blushes a bit. “Y-Yah can I go home now” She asks still kind of flustered by what he said earlier.

“Fine, let’s go” Gyuvin said, reaching for her hand as they went out of his room. They continued this until she went home and when she reached her front door, before Gyuvin left Y/n hugged him then asked him to text her later. 

Her parents arrived in the night then Y/n just explained that her and Yiren had a surprise sleepover and they just took her word for it.

It’s been a month since Y/n and Gyuvin started dating, they went on a few dates here and there but for their monthsary, he decided to ask her out to an amusement park nearby. She accepted, eager to meet up with her boyfriend once more. 

She was once again getting ready, she put on a simple crop top (if ur uncomfy just imagine any top) and baggy jeans. She wanted to wear something special but since they’re going in an amusement parks she had little options.

She decided to not put on makeup since it would most likely get ruined when she goes on the rides. Gyuvin told her beforehand that he wanted to take the bus instead of driving there and she just agreed since it really reminded her when they first met. “Y/nnn hurry upp” She heard Gyuvin saying it impatiently while knocking. “Wait-“ she says hurriedly as she got her bag and went down the stairs to answer the door.

“Hey Y/n, you ready to go?” He asks her. “Hi Gyuvinnie, yeah I am, let’s goo” She says excitedly and reaches to hold his hand. He noticed her trying to subtly reach out her hand and held her hand first. They continued on like this as they went over to the bus stop. She was currently rambling about a group that she was currently fixated on.

“Yeah like- Ciipher is an amazing group it’s just that rain sucks-“ She continued ranting about Ciipher until the bus arrived. Gyuvin wasn’t interested on the group itself, sure it intrigued him but all he could focus on was the way your eyes reflected off the sunlight giving a bright and youthful aura. The way some of your hair strands stood up, even though it may just appear messy on everyone else’s eye but to him, it’s what made her stood out from others in her school. She was the only one who didn’t attempt to hit on him or pursue him. Hell at one point Yiren tried asking him out but that didn’t work out.

After awhile she soon got tired then tried to sleep, Gyuvin noticed and put her head on his shoulder. It remained like this throughout the whole way there.

When the bus driver stopped to announce the stop, Gyuvin woke her up by shaking her lightly. She didn’t wake up, so he just slapped her lmao. 

“What the hell gyuvin” Y/n was rubbing her arm while glaring at Gyuvin. “What? You wouldn’t wake up, let’s get off now idiot.” He said then holding her hand and dragging her out of the bus.

They walked a bit before they reached the amusement park then went through the entrance fees and lines. It was quick since they went on a week day. Y/n held Gyuvin’s hand and pointed at a big rollercoaster then looked at back at him with pleading eyes. 

“Gyuvinnn can we ride that first” She begged. “Sure let’s go” He agreed and then went there with her. They soon after started lining up for the ride. It wasn’t long and they soon got to the front of the line, “Y/n, I dare you to ride in the front row” He said with a smirk, “Fine, but only if you do too” Y/n responded.

They both got on the ride and Y/n broke her composure and started looking around nervously. She fumbled with the seat belt, struggling to put it on. Gyuvin noticed it then reached his hand out to help her put it on. 

The ride went smoothly afterwards besides the loops and drops. As the ride came to a stop, the couple got off slowly while holding onto eachother for support.

"Never again." Gyuvin stated as he draped his arm over Y/n's shoulder for support. "I regret ever suggesting that" Y/n said as she tried to support herself by doing the same thing Gyuvin was doing.

After 10 minutes of walking around the couple soon found a food stall they wanted to buy from. Y/n went to go find a seat for the two of them and Gyuvin went to buy food.

She was scrolling through instagram and felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Seo-yun and Sooha. "Oh hey Y/n I thought my eyes were deceiving me" Yiren said rubbing her eyes. "What are you doing here in the first place?"Aisha asked.

"Oh I'm just- waiting for a friend ! That's all" She lied and voice cracked at the end. "Do you want us to wait with you?" Seo-yun asked her. "NOOO- I mean no, you guys can go on about your day, pretend you never saw me" She spoke quickly, trying to end the conversation. "Whatever you say Y/n... Just text us if they don’t come okay !" Seo-yun said while dragging Sooha away.

As soon as the two left, Gyuvin arrived with a tray of food. "I'm sorry if I took long, the line was super long" He apologized profusely. "It's okay Gyuvinnie I didn't wait long, let's eat now" She said while grabbing her utensils and handed the other set to Gyuvin.

"I saw Yiren and Aisha awhile ago." Y/n said and she noticed that Gyuvin tensed up. "Are they still here? What did they say?" He asked. "They just asked me what I was doing here, I said I was waiting for a friend and they just let me be after I told them to. I'm not sure whether or not their still here though" She replied back.

"Well, are you still comfortable with me holding your hand or hugging you?" He asked her. "I am fine with it still, I know physical affection is your whole thing and I don't wanna ruin that..." She replied back while she reached her hand out to hold his hand and she smiled at him. 

“But I still want to be careful since I don’t know if they’re still here..." Y/n stated as she looked down. Gyuvin noticed her nervous state then brought his hands to her face then started to squish her cheeks. "Forget about them for today, this day is about us right?" He said to her with a smile.

She soon felt comforted seeing his smile and they both decided to go find games as soon as they finished eating. They walked around hand-in-hand in the park. The pair soon reached the area where the games are located.

Y/n saw a white stuffed bunny and ran towards that stall and waited in line. It was soon their turn to play and Y/n tried aiming the rifle at the bunny. She was unsuccessful in her 2 tries. Gyuvin offered to try for the last attempt and ended up winning her the plush.

After the employee handed it to them Y/n quickly hugged the bunny and wouldn't let go of it. "So what are you gonna name it?" He asked. "I'm gonna name him Vinie !" Y/n said after putting the bunny on top of her head. "why would you name it that though?" Gyuvin asked curiously. "Because the bunny reminds me of you."

It soon turned night and the pair was exhausted after the long day of just going on rides, playing games and walking around. Before leaving they decided to go on the ferris wheel for last. As they enter the gondola everything went silent. Right before the gondolas reached the top, Gyuvin spoke up. “I love you, Y/n” He said while staring at her. Y/n was surprised by his sudden confession, nonetheless she replied. “I love you too Gyuvin”.

As she said that Gyuvin leaned forward then grabbed Y/n’s collar then pressed his lips against her’s. She felt butterflies in her stomach, She kissed back as their lips moved in sync. The kiss ended soon after since they realized the ride would end soon. Y/n was blushing furiously and was fidgeting with her fingers for the remainder of the ride.

When they got off Y/n was quiet the entire time. She was still in shock from the previous events, Gyuvin holding her hand brought her back from her thoughts. “Are you okay? Sorry if I made you uncomfortable” He said while rubbing his thumb over her hand. She looked back at him and spoke, “No it’s nothing I’m just- flustered? I guess...” He got what she was trying to say then hugged her for comfort.

“You wanna go?” “Can we take the train this time?” She asked him. “Yeah, I’m fine with anything as long as your here.”

A week passed by and the start of their school year was nearing. Y//n decided to ask Gyuvin out on a date 2 weeks before school. They both met up in a cafe and ordered coffee and cinnamon rolls. They were both talking to each other and their coffee arrived soon after.“Did you hear about the new update they announced for genshin?” As Y/n brought up a conversation the bell on the cafe door chimed and she widened her eyes seeing who just walked through it.

“What the hell Y/n.” Seo-yun said while looking at Gyuvin and Y/n who intertwined their hands. “What are you doing.” Sooha spoke up and dragged the two to stand up. “We’re on a date. What else does it look like?” Gyuvin said with a snarky tone and tried hiding Y/n behind him. “Y/n after all that we told you... YOU STILL DATED THIS ASSHOLE?” Seo-yun yelled out grabbing Y/n’s wrist then dragging her out the cafe, Sooha tagging along and Gyuvin stayed in the cafe in shock. 

“SEO-YUN WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM” Y/n yelled out while Seo-yun released her wrist from her grasp.“MY PROBLEM IS THAT YOUR DATING GYUVIN”Seo-yun was furious. Anyone could tell and a few people on the street started looking in their direction “AND? I CAN DATE WHOEVER YOU WANT ITS MY LIFE” Y/n replied back. “NOT IF THAT PERSON YOUR DATING IS MY CRUSH” Seo-yun��s reply confused Y/n “What? What do you mean” She said. “I MADE UP ALL THOSE THINGS ABOUT HIM SO YOU CAN STAY AWAY BUT NO- YOU STILL DECIDED TO WHORE YOURSELF OUT TO HIM” Seo-yun yelled out while approaching Y/n. “

I DIDNT EVEN TALK TO HIM FIRST, HE APPROACHED ME SO WHAT? YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST INSULT ME LIKE THAT” “I WOULDNT HAVE INSULTED YOU IF YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM ALREADY” The air around them was starting to get heated, some of the bystanders left, realizing it was a personal matter.

“I- I thought we were friends” Y/n’s voice started to die down as her vision got clouded with tears. “WE ARE ITS JUST THAT YOU DECIDED TO GO FOR SOMEONE I HAD A CRUSH ON. NOW BREAK UP WITH HIM OR OUR FRIENDSHIP IS OVER.” Seo-yun yelled out one final time before turning her back on her and leaving along with Sooha.

As soon as Y/n got home she burst out in tears. She went straight to her room then cried more into her pillow. She soon fell asleep for a few hours. She woke up and got her phone and texted Gyuvin.

She heard her phone ring then declined the call. She went to message her friends that she already broke up with him. Y/n started to regret her decision but she knew it was too late to take it back. Seo-yun and Sooha were her only friends and they’ve been really close since childhood and she didn’t wanna ruin her friendship because Seo-yun had a crush on her now ex-boyfriend.

It was the start of the school year and Y/n was classmates with Seo-yun and Sooha again. Everything went smoothly in their friendship after the breakup but deep down Y/n still knew she liked Gyuvin, but she didn’t want Seo-yun to get mad at her. 

As she was talking in the classroom with Seo-yun and Sooha she noticed Gyuvin staring at her from the corner of her eye.

The bell rang and the trio went to their respective seats. Their classes ended quicker that they thought and Y/n was spacing out after the bell rang and was left sitting at her seat.

“Y/nnn Are you coming??” Sooha said, breaking Y/n out of her trance. The 3 soon went to the cafeteria and while they were eating all Y/n could think of was Gyuvin. She missed him. She regrets breaking up with him but she doesn’t wanna lose her life-long friend either.

Y/n soon felt a tap on her shoulder, She looked back and saw Gyuvin. “We need to talk. Now.” He said while grabbing her shoulder and taking her to an empty classroom. “Uhm Hi?” She said out of nervousness and confusion. “Why did you break up with me” Gyuvin asked while unintentionally pinning her against the wall by her shoulders.

“I- I just fell out of love you know” Y/n tried lying her way out of this, She feels like she can’t hold her tears anymore. “You’re lying.” He replied back firmly. “It’s true” She said while trying not to let the tears spill out but it was unsuccessful. She ended up letting it all out. “Stop lying already” “I- I’m not” She tried to stop her hiccups from being to obvious but her efforts were futile.

“If you weren’t lying then you wouldn’t be crying right now” He said while bringing her in for a hug. Oh how Y/n missed this, she felt like she could melt right now but she still had to remember. They aren’t even together anymore.

“I still love you but we just- can’t be together” Y/n said trying not to break down. “And why not? Is this because of your friends?” He asked her patting her back while trying not to cry also. “It’s not! We just aren’t meant to be together.” She said. “We both still clearly love each other, you’re just torturing me at this point, there’s nothing stopping us from being together” Gyuvin said slowly losing his calm composure. “I love you, but I just can’t be with you. You deserve better, like Seo-yun or something” She spoke, she backed up and went to reach for the door but then she looked back and saw Gyuvin’s tear stricken face.

“But if you love me then why did you leave?”

You and Kuanjui have always been a matched set. Coming to Korea to join the company at the same time, scores always one after the other at trainee evaluations, confessing to each other, sneaking kisses and sharing beds at the dorm, even leaving Yuehua together.

Both of you auditioned for Boys Planet and it was about the same. Getting all-stars at the level test and then dropping to three-stars at the signal song. Keita calling his name for Kill this Love team and yours following soon after. As soon as he sees that you’ve picked the song, Kuanjui chooses “Butterfly” without a second thought.

“It’s like you’re one person.” Zhang Hao jokes whenever he sees the two of you mirroring each other’s stretches.

“We basically have an extra bed.” Min tells Keita after he flees his own room to escape Matthew and Zhang Hao’s symphony of snores. You’re fast asleep, snuggled up to Kuanjui on the top bunk.

“It’s for your own good.” Cong and Brian tell Junseo after he asks why you and Kuanjui get the room with the extra bed when it’s become obvious enough to the whole camp that you and Kuanjui always sleep in one bed.

Most of the G-group trainees have already walked in on both of you twisted into some position that: 1. They didn’t know the human body was capable of bending into and 2. Made them want to go pour bleach into their eyes.

Even during eliminations, your ranks are called one after the other. Not even minutes after letting go of each other’s hand do you stand side by side on the stage to give your thank you speeches and then walk up the stairs to take your seats, hand in hand once again. It’s almost like it’s been rigged, you joke sometimes when you’re away from the camera.

Kuanjui just sighs, holds you closer and drops a kiss on your forehead.

“Maybe the Star Creators just like us too much together to keep us apart.”

And maybe Kuanjui is right, when you both, once again, end up in Over Me together. The Star Creators have decided once again to keep you together. But there’s a sense of dread growing in the pit of your stomach. The eliminations come again, your rank follows Kuanjui, one after the other. You’re both safe but you know you aren’t safe enough for when the next round rolls in, beds emptying, the camp getting quieter. Only the Top 18 goes to the finale and your ranks are still languishing in the 20s.

“We’ll make it,” Kuanjui whispers to you as you curl up in the sheets that night. “We’ll go to the finale together and we’ll debut together.”

It’s a nice dream, you think as his arms wrap around you, burying his face into your neck. Eyes growing heavy, you can only hold him as you drift off. Two bodies tangled together. Maybe in your sleep, there’s a future where that does happen, where you both get to live out your dreams for the next 2 and a half years together.

Still, sooner or later, you’ll have to wake up.

There’s a tension in the air, the morning after eliminations.

Along with the 8 other surviving members of Over Me, you’re seated in a semicircle, Kuanjui holding your hand and Keita on the other side. 

“In the previous season,” Jongwoo, your leader, starts. “They made the decision by voting.”

All of you were well aware. Kuanjui squeezes your hand and you squeeze back. From the other end of the semicircle, you catch Zhang Hao’s eyes. He stares at your intertwined hands and then at you. You nod slightly when you’re sure Kuanjui isn’t watching.

Both of you knew what you were going to do and it wasn’t going to go down nicely.

A little later, the trainees from Switch and Supercharger walk in. 

“If we pick someone, they have to join us without resisting.”

All of you react, Kuanjui pulling you to hide behind your fellow members. There’s a little back and forth banter before they tell you that they’re not actually there to choose and your group does need to vote people out. After they leave the room, you all sit back down, the tension returning with a vengeance. Everyone begins to appeal to themselves.

“The song really suits me. I want to do it.” Ricky states.

“I created the rap part at the beginning of the second verse,” Jeonghyeon points out.

“I really poured my everything into it; The costume, stage design, choreography and structure. We just need to keep going with them.” Jongwoo says so passionately that you’re almost swayed by it. Almost. 

But Kuanjui had told you what he, Zhang Hao and Ricky discussed last night and it wasn’t looking good for your leader.  Honestly this wasn’t going to end without someone’s feelings getting hurt. Whether they ended up staying or leaving.

It comes down to the decision not of who should be voted out but who each member thinks should stay, apart from themselves. You write your picks quickly, not even needing to stop and reconsider. 

Everyone sits back down, prepared with their list of names. The moment of truth.

“The first one I thought of was Jay. The next one is Zhang Hao”

“Ricky.”

“Jeonghyeonie.” 

“Jay.”

“Chen Kuan Jui.”

“Lee Jeonghyeon.”

Once. Your name is called once and it’s obviously when Kuanjui reads off his list, already visibly shaken by the fact that it’s only his name and not yours that he hears from everybody else. You steel your expression into placid acceptance, avoiding your boyfriend’s gaze.

“Jui. Jay. Jeonghyeonie. Ricky. Hao. It’s those five.” Jongwoo sums it up, the disappointment in his voice as clear as the look on Kuanjui’s face when you finally turn to him.

As the four of you who've been voted out make to stand up, Kuanjui does faster than all of you. Before anyone can stop him, he’s already dragging you out of the room, opening the door of the studio so swiftly that the trainees waiting outside jump and pulling you into the bathroom before they can say anything.

He snatches the mics off your sweatshirts. Now you’re just there, staring at each other. You and Kuanjui barely fight but you already know that this is going to be uglier than any of your petty quarrels.

“I’ll talk to Hao-

“Baobei, no-”

“Jongwoo-hyung can stay and-”

“No, I-”

“We can join Supercharger together-”

“Jui-” 

“Or Switch, whatever you want-”

“Kuanjui.” He finally looks at you. “I have to go.”

“We can go together…” He protests.

“No, that’s unfair to you.”

“It’s not-”

“It is, Jui, it is.” You insist. “Look, I talked with Hao, I knew only one of us would get to stay and it was going to be you. You- you need this. You fit the song so well. We know it. The whole team knows it, that’s why they voted for you. You need to do Over Me, you need the votes. Hell, if you can get the bonus, even better.”

“I voted for you.” He fires back. “I wanted them to vote for you, okay? I told Hao and Ricky that it was going to be a problem when we got the same part. I wanted them to vote for you and not me, I wanted to give you the part.”

“Don’t you dare, Kuanjui.” You hiss. “I could never live with myself if I had to take the part away from you. I-”

“And how do you think I feel? Huh?” His voice breaks and suddenly you become very aware  of how wet your own eyes are.

“We were supposed to do this together.” Kuanjui almost whispers, with a certainty that scares you. “I told you last night. We’ll win the challenge and get the bonus. We’ll make it to the finale together and maybe we’ll debut.”

“Wake up,” you choke back a sob. “We both saw our ranks yesterday. It’s going to take a miracle for both of us to make it unless some people drop. And okay, maybe one of us does. It’s going to be you, Jui. We both know it is.”

“I don’t want that.” This stubborn bastard. “I don’t want to do this without you.”

Why is he breaking your heart?

“Maybe you don’t want to,” you point out. “But that doesn’t mean you can’t, Jui. You’re so talented, you’ve worked so hard, this is your dream.”

“It’s your dream too.”

It is. You manage a shaky smile, despite the tears running down your face.

“I’ll be okay.” You say instead. Jui knows you so well. Arguably, more than you know yourself sometimes. He knows that look on your face. You’ll talk about this more later but right now, what’s done is done.

The discussion is over and the decision has been made. It’s made a long time ago, in the room he pulled you from. Now he has to go back there without you and learn to accept it. 

There’s a quiet knock on the door before it opens, Zhang Hao peeking inside. Honestly you’re surprised that none of the other trainees or staff had walked in or tried to intervene.

“Everything okay?” He asks tentatively even if he can definitely see your swollen eyes, cheeks stained with tear tracks and Jui furiously scrubbing at his face. 

“We talked,” you offer instead as he shuts the door behind him, studying both of you. 

Even if you’re all the same age, Zhang Hao’s always been the parental type from the time you trained at Yuehua together up until now. He’s the one that coaxes you to wash your face, even producing a small makeup kit to get rid of the redness on your nose and around your eyes.

“I’m sorry.” Kuanjui says belatedly, once you’re both presentable enough for the cameras.

“They’re worried about you.” Zhang Hao reassures. “Good thing, Jui moves fast and no one said anything so hopefully they just cut all of this out. Or honestly, you can pretend it’s a hidden camera, I think the editors would be likely to go with that”

You can only nod, finally facing your boyfriend again. He steps forward wrapping you into a tight hug, you can only sink into him, letting some of the tension between bleed out. Zhang Hao quietly excuses himself and walks out first, likely to tell everyone that you’re fine and make an excuse for the cameras.

Once you separate, his hands are still resting around your waist.

“I’ll see you tonight.” He says before giving you a quick kiss.

“Hmmph, we’ll see, I might have to practise all night to learn Supercharger. Oh and we might have to move rooms.”

“I’ll fight the staff if they tell us too. Literally there are so many empty rooms.”

“Jui…”

“What? Honestly even if they made us separate, everyone knows that I’m sneaking into your room. I won’t be able to sleep if the bed’s empty.”

“Aiyo, you’re impossible.”

You decide to go for the hidden camera cover up, walking out and doing a somewhat comedic skit, a heavily censored version what went down in the bathroom, overly exaggerating your reactions. Damn, maybe both of you should have taken notes from Jiwoong and gone into acting instead.

Haruto, bless his dramatic ass, gets with the program immediately.

“You’re ours now!” He hollers, clinging onto you and laughing evilly, Zihao grinning and holding onto you as well.

“Noooo, don’t leave me.” Kuanjui cries melodramatically, reaching out for you as a reluctant Zhang Hao drags him back into the practice room. The door clicks shut.

The dread settles in for one moment before Haruto hustles both you and Zihao to Say My Name’s practice room along with team Switch. 

“You okay?” Jongwoo mutters to you on the way down, still very much a concerned leader.

“Mhmm, I’ve been better.” Haruto is still clinging to you which offers some sort of slight comfort. “Are you okay?” You ask Jongwoo, knowing how hard your former leader worked for Over Me.

He laughs humorlessly. “Not the greatest day for me either.”

There’s definitely a ruckus over the new lineups as you all enter.

“Eh??” Matthew exclaims when you walk in.

“How did they get Kuanjui-ge to let you go?!” Ollie’s eyes look like they’re about to fall out of his head from how big they are.

You help Haruto pitch Supercharger as best as you can before stepping outside to wait for your new members. 

That night…

“Okay, Takuto can stay with me. Woongi-hyung and Seowon-hyung said they’ll room together. Which means Ollie can stay with Zihao, eh?”

Haruto’s handing out the room arrangement when Takuto asks where you’ll be sleeping. Immediately, Ollie snorts, Woongi and Seowon exchange glances, definitely having heard of your "special" sleeping arrangement from the other trainees, and Zihao, bless his soul, covers for you, putting an arm over your shoulder as he says to Takuto.

“Don’t worry, they’ll be sleeping with me and Ollie.”

“Ah, is that right?” Because of course your boyfriend decides that it’s the right moment to show up.

“Jui-ge’s just here to say goodnight, right?” Ollie says faux innocently as Takuto grows more confused.

“Sorry baobei, I think I’ll be sleeping with Zihao tonight.” You joke, playfully clinging onto the dancer who seems almost too happy about it.

Kuanjui, on the other, does not look happy at all.

“Zihao. If you don’t let go of them right now, I can make sure that Supercharger will wake up tomorrow with one less member.”

Haruto squawks something about not killing his husband. Seowon and Woongi decide it’s time to remove themselves, taking Takuto and a reluctant Ollie with them. Zihao stops smiling, his arm dropping from your shoulder immediately as he backs off.

Kuanjui is immediately all over you.

“I smell.” You whine to him weakly. “We’ve been practising all day and I haven’t showered.”

“I’ll shower with you.” From the back, you hear Haruto gag, footsteps speeding away from you. Zihao has disappeared from the hallway.

Kuanjui showers with you. You keep it wholesome, kinda. Except your boyfriend is incredibly flexible and can’t seem to keep his hands to himself. So maybe you get a little frisky. Not a lot. Well, at least you don’t traumatise anyone.

And just like that, you’re back in Kuanjui’s arms, lying in bed, hair still damp from the shower. You close your eyes as he litters kisses all over your face, sweet and light and everything you’ve ever wanted. 

“You know we still need to talk.” You’re drifting off, the aches of learning a completely new choreography bearing down on your body.

“I know.” He whispers back. “But let me kiss you first?”

You fall asleep with the feeling of his lips against your skin. The feeling of him holding you. You’ll talk tomorrow, work things out, address issues that the stress of today brought up. But for now, you sleep. And together, you dream.

« thank you for coming, » began to say lua, while closing the door behind the young man, « i didn't want her to be alone while i'm away. » — seungmin nodded, taking off his jacket and getting rid of his shoes before following lua without saying a word. his steps led them both to the kitchen, where the ateez's girl gave him a quick rundown of the contents of the cupboards, « you have coffee here, and noodles in this one. you can cook anything you want if you're hungry, there is a dishwasher here. »

seungmin thanked her silently, strolling around the room as if for the first time. fortunately for her, his schedule allowed him to stay with their mutual friend for the day. « where's kalaya? » he asked softly, almost inaudibly, so as not to disturb the stillness of the room. lua offered him a small smile, passing the boy to approach a door, pointing towards it, « she's right here, it's my room. you can come in whenever you like. »

seungmin nodded slowly, following his elder's silhouette as she approached the kitchen counter, collecting her belongings. « i really have to go, » she said suddenly, looking at the time on her phone, « i'm doing my best to get home early, thanks again for coming. »

« no problem noona, inka is my friend too. » seungmin waved as she slipped out the front door, leaving him alone in the living room. a sigh left his lips as he ventured into the kitchen, deciding to make two hot coffees. as he fiddled with the coffee machine, the bedroom door suddenly opened, revealing an almost unrecognizable inka. her face was puffy and her eyes red, she looked far too tired — seungmin was really worried about her. « hey sleeping beauty, how do you feel? »

inka raised her head, looking at seungmin with astonishment — she didn't expect to hear his voice instead of her best friend's. advancing into the room to sit on one of the kitchen stools, she pulled up the plaid she was holding over her head. « miserable. » she replied in a crackling voice. seungmin, who had his back to her, swivelled towards the girl and placed a hot cup of coffee in front of her.

« where's yuehua? » she said as she took a sip, avoiding her friend's gaze as much as possible. seungmin sat down opposite her, imitating her movements as he began to drink his coffee, « at work. she didn't want to wake you, that's why she didn't warn you about it. »

a little oh escaped inka's lips as she continued sipping her drink, resting her chin against the palm of her hand, she played nervously with her teaspoon, « and why are you here..? »

her voice was hesitant, and she hated the tone she'd used for a simple question. feeling a sudden gnawing of guilt, she bit her lower lip a little too hard to keep her from bursting into tears. seungmin noticed the sudden change in his eldest member's behavior, her nails digging into her skin, her lip butchered, her bouncing leg.. so he hurried to reply, stirring his coffee nonchalantly, « to stay with you, as friends do. »

inka nodded slowly, not daring to look up at the young boy. she thought she was pathetic, and hated more than anything that people saw her that way. all she wanted to do was hide in a hole and cry. but she certainly wasn't going to let her feelings show, especially in front of someone she held in such high esteem, and to whom she always wanted to show a shining image of herself. « you want to watch a movie? » he asked, rounding the counter to approach the living room, grabbing the tv remote control. scrolling through the netflix suggestions, inka settled on the sofa, seungmin ends up sitting next to her.

« what are you interested in? » he asked suddenly, not knowing what to choose, « a loyal friendship. » she replied nonchalantly, playing mechanically with the edge of her plaid. seungmin gazed at her face for a few seconds, watching the way she rubbed the tip of her nose to keep from crying. « i know what you need. » he said suddenly, typing in the title of a popular k-drama she was particularly fond of — weightlifting fairy kim bok-joo. a slight smile graced the lips of the young girl, who nodded positively.

launching the first episode, despite the fact that she already knew it by heart, inka seemed to drown in the television. her comforting show was perhaps all she needed to feel a little better. after long minutes of viewing, seungmin noticed that inka had detached herself from the screen, rubbing her eyes a little too frequently to his liking. without him being able to say anything, the young girl got up hurriedly and went to lua's room, locking herself in.

seungmin didn't want to bother her, so he left her alone for a few minutes while he prepared some noodles. when he had finished putting everything into a bowl, he approached the bedroom, banging a few times against the door, « noona, i'm going in. »

when he pushed open the door, he found inka silently weeping, wrapped in the blanket. she looked so vulnerable and weak, not at all like the inka he knew. so he stepped forward cautiously, placing the tray with the bowl on the bedside table, before sitting down beside her. his hesitant hand came to rest on her shoulder, caused the young girl to burst into tears, snuggling up to her younger member instantly.

« it's okay to cry, » he said softly, gently stroking her hair, « you're gonna get through this. i believe in you. » kalaya listened attentively, as she was unaccustomed to hearing such comforting words from seungmin. the two spent more time fooling around together than having deep conversations — this time was a first. « i don't want to be a member of stray kids anymore, seungmin. » she admitted, almost inaudibly. he wasn't surprised by her sudden declaration : jisung had already told him she'd said these kind of words. so he nodded slowly, because although he didn't agree with her desires, inka's feelings were more important than her career, « i understand. but stray kids will never be stray kids anymore without you. »

inka sniffed, closing her eyes to stop herself from crying again. the truth was that she didn't want to leave them, they were her family, and she needed them desperately, but the current situation was eating her up inside and making her want to die. she felt betrayed, cast aside, and chan clearly seemed to invalidate her feelings. keeping the truth from her for so long was clearly a betrayal for her. a long sigh left her lips as she straightened up, leaving seungmin's arms to stare at the ground.

« honestly, it's impressive that you're still standing after everything that has happened, » he finally said, drawing inka's attention, « you've been through a lot, but you've always kept your head up, you're amazing kalaya. » seungmin brought his hand up to her eldest member's head, stroking the crown of her head affectionately, « i'll make sure you'll never have to go through anything like this again. »

for the first time today, inka's gaze met seungmin's. and for the first time today, a slight warmth crackled in her chest. perhaps a glimmer of hope had appeared in her thoughts, maybe leaving her found family wasn't such a good idea, maybe it wasn't all over. and even if, for the moment, she didn't want to go on living, maybe soon her heart will decide to exist again.

bending down again to slip into his arms, inka snuggled up to him, looking for the slightest possible source of heat. gently caressing her back, he placed a comforting kiss on her forehead, they didn't need to discuss it any further. inka knew seungmin was there for her, and seungmin knew he wasn't going to lose inka.

the intense beats of hala hala ebbs through the practice room. rather than getting up, yuehua remains on the ground. she can't help it—feeling the polished floor against her sweaty body is like eating ice cream on a sweltering summer day. 

she hears the rustle of clothes before seeing the towel held out to her. shifting her head to the right, she takes it and seeks her friend's opinion. “how was that?” 

“looks like you're ready to conquer the stage.” san responds, honesty slathered upon his words. 

she tiredly laughs and tries to get up, but ends up back in her original position with a huff. the younger watches her with an amused glint in his eyes. knowing it'll be a while before she gets up, he decides to lie down next to her. 

together, they let the silence of the practice room fall over them like a blanket. there isn't anything interesting about the ceiling, yet one of them stares so intently at it. san knows that she's thinking, the clouds in her syrup-tinted eyes indicates so.

“what's up?” he asks, then gently pokes her cheek.

(seriously, ever since he found out how soft they were, he hasn't stopped poking the mochi lookalikes.)

she mirrors his action then says, “i'm still a little worried. what if i'm unable to keep up with you guys? what if the fans dislike the idea of a girl in a boy group? what if-” 

“-you will, and they won't. given the fact that you put so much effort in our practices, there's no way you'll fall behind. and once you're officially performing with us, it'll be hard to not notice the atinys cheering for all nine of us.”

yuehua scrunches up her nose and mumbles, “i really hope you're right, or else i'll hide shiber from you.”

“that really hurts, bambi.” he groans in faux pain, hand clutching onto his shirt. “i give you encouragement and get threatened in return.”

“woo, is that you?” she jokes, a few peals of giggles following suit.

san huffs at that and starts to wiggle away from her. she lets him have his moment before pulling herself up and announcing, “since there's no one else here, i'm gonna leave now and buy myself a treat.”

just like that, he's wiggling back. this time, he wears a familiar expression on his face—the pleading eyes. you know the one that puss in boots uses to beat his enemies? that one. 

and like the latter, yuehua's not immune to it. 

“come on then,” she helps him get back on his feet before they gather their stuff. since they're the last ones, they make sure to clean up the practice room. satisfied with their work, they head down to the convenience store. 

“hey sannie?” she begins while they shuffle down one of the aisles.

“yeah bambi?” 

“pick whatever you want, it's my treat.”

it might not be equivalent to the amount of support he's shown her these past weeks, but it's a start.

hello! it’s that time of the month again that i compile the sweets brought to us by the boys! this month started out very quiet but in this fandom will mean that things will take a turn in the next week/s. you just never know what will happen next. i have added some commentary here on certain incidents that i didn’t talk about separately on my blog to have “bonus content” for this round-up.

• XZ’s GQ cover and collaboration sweets + additional ones connected to fake rumor

• not really cpn, but our boys continue to make it in the weibo hot search trend report - i still hate sina weibo but i understand how it’s relevant for them.

• XZ’s wedding suit from the AV festival. yes, this was made for him but we just had him wear that white backless wedding suit by jacquemus for GQ and now this? hmmmm. me thinks he has a preference? lol. he prefers white and that’s fine, but the choice of what looks like a wedding suit is 👀. i am on standby, let me see if this continues.

pair it off with WYB! and it’s perfect. tho i would prefer it if they are both in white. 🤍

• this parallel between their looks. it’s not just their characters that match each other, but their outfits from certain events. so classy!

but i think this one is the best. seeing them get recognition for their acting in the past few months has been very rewarding. all the hard work and challenges are bearing fruit. remembering them talking about wanting to become professional actors and really take that path — studying and dreaming together. now here we are 🫶🏼

• a cute tidbit, but the cat xz is playing with is called xiao wang. that’s because on it’s back looks like the character for wang! what a coincidence!!!! 🥹

• Bottled Joy stirring the CPN pot again by posting this on 2/13. As You Wish. The context of the post is that, as you wish — fans can get these wallpapers and photos of Bobo. but it’s a coincidence cause it’s the english title of the song GG sang @ BRTV Spring Festival Gala. 👀 the colors too, white and silver which is the same color combination of GG’s outfit. This may be meh to some, but knowing Bottled Joy’s cpn history, you can’t blame us.

• Small weekend roundup - includes mention of asian pop magazines where the boys are both mentioned, supplement to xz using tickets for his spring festival photos last year as support of bobo’s movie and the phone card case appears.

• Rumor of Wang Yibo being in Hengdian - one / two / three ( i feel like this one is up there with the leica camera and gg’s bday cpn but this one is more risky on their part. as i have said in my posts, what is important is they are safe and happy. it’s their personal life. their relationship is between the two of them. as cpfs, we should be protecting them and not be people they are wary of. if we are not careful, we are no different from ss and yxh. )

• On 2/20, Yuehua & YBO have posted about the slander recently going around related to WYB and that they have reported it to the police. This went really high on HS and was widely talked about, even Du Hua reposted and reacted to it. Hours later, XZS has posted their own reminder to fans in relation to people disturbing his drama filming. What made it more important is that XZ reposted it too and put in a very firm reminder to everyone.

to give some context, the horrible rumor regarding WYB was spread around by mostly XZ fans. There was a melon that said “X” has STD and then toxic people started saying it’s WYB ( cause toxic xz fans doesn’t want it linked to XZ because of the clue given so they throw it to WYB. i know it sounds stupid, but it’s actually a common tactic done by both sides ) and even fabricated some photos. another actor, xukai was also implicated and he also reported to the police.

so this can be read by so/os as XZ&XZS trying to cover up for the toxic solos and what they did. i get why other people will think that and i personally wanted them to address the bad things his solos do. however i also understand why xz and his team can’t “betray” the solo fans. that’s just how it goes. however, in cpf interpretation, this is XZ’s way of taking away the heat from wyb and a way of putting a stop to the conversations about that horrible lie. it worked in a way that it went on HS, but not as high as WYB’s. I was also surprised that XZ reposted it himself. i am aware that the leaks and everything else is a serious issue and XZ is someone who hates being a bother to the crew. but he usually doesn’t do this. he usually leaves it to XZS or the drama account. This tells me that he personally wants to lend his name and his weibo account, to get more of the heat. The last line he said can also be a message to his toxic so/os: respect others and respect yourself.

• On 2/20, there were tarot readings some BXGs have enjoyed. One is this that is a new year CP reading done on 2/4. What made fans 👀 are:

1. this card, where OP said it’s them being hand in hand and don’t get tired of each other. and in the background is a sacred building, which symbolizes them having a vow to each other.

more cpn was added into it when GG did MFW and people realized not to take this literally cause it could be representing the Duomo.

2. Here is the part that was v interesting to cpfs cause this person gave a prediction that followed what we cpn and happened in the next couple of days.

The two of them haven’t had many official activities recently. So from February 4th, there is a chance for the two of them to meet each other in the past few days. And as soon as the two of them meet, they won’t be going out. Yibo knows he is active but he will close up and be willing to hide at home for XZ.

this is so close to what we speculated! that they spent a quiet cny break together. 🥹🥹🥹

3. Next one is so on point it’s scary cause i have already discussed the bad rumor going around and was directed at WYB before this entry. OP was sort of right. tho i don’t know it this will be another hateful rumor, i hope not.

My prediction is that it will be in March 2024, around this time, I feel that WYB will have a a force of public opinion surrounding him. It's unfriendly to him. This power of public opinion including but not limited to WYB. If we use the 8 of Swords to understand the external environment, it is a relatively sharp. There is some public opinion about the two of them that may cause some trouble

If something happens to WYB, XZ will immediately rise up and have to rush out to protect him. XZ will work hard behind the scenes silently in his own way and are some practical actions.

4. WYB’s resources for 2024 will be very good. In the first quarter, the number of resources was not very large but the quality of the resources is very good. Then the Queen of Pentacles in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Queen of Cups.

For context: The Queen of Pentacles, therefore, depicts a certain level of success and prosperity. But the rabbit at the bottom cautions us that we should be careful of where we leap when we are chasing that success. Build Up Recap Episode 2: Beautiful (orig. Crush)

Welcome back to another recap in my Build Up recap series! In the previous one, I covered Decalcomanie, a song originally performed by Mamamoo. In this one, I finally bring the Pre4 mission to an end with the performance of Beautiful, originally by Crush. Let’s go!

I found a youtube clip of this part, if you’d like to watch. 

Once the judges have stopped laughing at poor Suhwan for his jacket, Dahee announces the next team, which is the final team -- team Beautiful. Backstage, all the guys react -- they all love this song.

The song itself might be familiar to you if you watched the drama “Guardian,” also known as “Goblin.” (I know everyone loved it, but I found it… weird.) It was sung by Crush, who you might remember from the song Rush Hour. 

And here to sing it are Taewoo, Kim Minseo, Jeong Yunseo and Lim Sanghyun.

Taewoo introduces himself by saying, “I’m in charge of the unique voice. I’m managing a startup while I sing. I’m singer-songwriter Taewoo.” Jaehwan on the judging panel says, “Ah, a CEO!” 

Minseo says, “I’m in charge of powerful voice. A Dex lookalike.” The judges decide he really does look like Dex.

Yeonseo introduces himself as an all-rounder, a “hexagon vocalist.” (Basically, “hexagon” is slang for saying you’re multi-talented.) He says he’s a trainee at Mystic Story. Mystic Story manages Lucy (a boy-band) and Billlie (a girl group).

Sangyhun didn’t get the sweater memo; he’s going blazer. He quietly introduces himself by saying, “I’m in charge of soul and sweet voice, singer-songwriter Lim Sanghyun.” And we find out that Sanghyun helped produce Jaehwan’s fourth mini-album! That’s cool. We stan a talented king.

The judges point out that two of them are trainees, and ask if they’re nervous. 

Yunseo confidently says he’s not nervous, and we go into a flashback. 

Minseo, at a pre-production meeting -- it must have been a while back, since his hair is like an inch shorter -- says that he’s been a trainee for 4 years.

He mentions that he trained with Ricky, Gyuvin, Yujin, and Zhang Hao from Boys Planet/Zerobase1, so I guess he was/is at Yuehua. He couldn’t help but feel al little jealous and frustrated that they had that “dreamy opportunity.” I get it -- that’s normal, I think.

We hop to the guys at their first meeting, starting to distribute the parts. Yeonseo is getting a lot of compliments from the hyungs, and says he’s good at adding harmony. He seems confident about adding ideas, so Minseo starts to feel a bit intimidated.  He says he’s never really done harmony. Really? After four years? What have you been working on, lovey? 

Sanghyun takes on the role of helpful hyung to Minseo. Minseo tries the harmony with some of the others, and they let him try the ending, helping to build up his confidence. 

So, how will the trainees do?

My thoughts:

This performance is squarely in my “really really good, for some reason not super-star” tier. A+, just not quite S.  But it was still A+! 

I think part of it is that Lim Sanghyun and Taewoo have incompatible voices, so changing from one to the other line to line made them both sound worse. 

Lim Sanghyun led off with a lovely, soft gruff tone that I actually had to turn my volume up to hear. It was very sweet and gentle, almost like a whisper, but still tuneful, which isn’t easy to do. He also brought the song to a lovely finish with his tone. I think I’d rather just hear him sing a song all the way through, just him singing, because I’m not sure his voice blended with any of the other voices here. But I did really like his voice on its own. 

Taewoo has what I’ll call a YG voice. It would not be out of place singing a Big Bang song, with his specific, sharp nasal vocal color and swaggy affectations. It’s quite lovable in its way. It doesn’t sound great back to back with Sanghyun’s voice, unfortunately, but if he were singing a verse from Fantastic Baby I’d be into it. He lets notes kind of flop down instead of holding them, he sort of swoops on some notes, that kind of thing. He doesn’t seem to prioritize pitch, though he can definitely hit the right notes when he is harmonizing. He was so sweet and encouraging to Minseo during their harmony portion, so it’s a bummer that I have to say that among these four, his performance was my least favorite. He does have my favorite sweater, though.  

Going from their teasers, Minseo had my favorite voice among these four, but I think his lack of experience showed here. I really, really liked his teaser performance of Rolling in the Deep by Adele (V39), and said that he has a distinct, real voice that shows some training but also some rough edges. But here he was soooo nervous. It really showed. I can’t blame him -- I think I’d probably pass out if I had to sing in front of Baekho and Solar. But his nerves made him short of breath, and he couldn’t properly support some of his high notes and had to go into falsetto. He also was going way too fast. In a later third of the performance, he seemed to struggle with agility, pausing on a sort of odd note in a vocal run. (Maybe that’s what it was supposed to sound like? I admit I don’t know the song perfectly.) He still sounded beautiful, despite those slight problems, and I think that was mostly nerves. 

Yeonso was a bit of a mystery going into this performance, since his teaser track had such heavy backup vocals that I couldn’t really be sure what was live. In this performance, he did a good job and had a lot of power. He has a very clean voice, if a bit thin, with good power and breath support, and I think “all-round” describes him well since I think his voice could jive with anyone’s. Except I guess Taewoo’s. I guess that compared to the more interesting voices of the other three, he fades out a little. Also, I basically couldn’t get a shot of him with his eyes open, because they were closed 90% of the time when he was singing. Open your eyes, guys! I'll give you a prize. I'm telling no lies! Just open your eyes.

The harmonies sounded great and I wished there were a few more of them. 

I’m not really sure who I’d pick as top tier. Each had a lot of pros and a few cons. Part of me wants to say Minseo since I just like his voice best, but then I think Sanghyun is the one I walked away wanting to hear a whole song from… so maybe Sanghyun.

The MNET edit makes it clear how much everyone likes Sanghyun’s  sweet voice, but they also like Taewoo’s -- they call it “chic”, which I think is fair. Maybe that’s kind of what I meant by saying it was a YG voice. They like the two trainees’ voices too, and they should, they’re good singers. 

And as the song draws to a close, the translations do too. I looked and looked on Youtube for a clip of this section, but couldn’t find it, so thanks, Youtube. Thootube. At least google-translate-camera is always here for us. 

Jaehwan says, “This team is awesome!”  They get a “barrage of applause” and Gwangseok backstage says they did great. Everyone agrees that the ending was great, and they were very stable.

Random members of the groups were missing. I think while the performances were going on, they may have been being photographed for their official photos, in another room. 

Dahee tells Baekho that should could tell from his facial expressions how much he enjoyed the performance. He agrees.

Baekho says, “The charm of each voice is different. Each time the part changed, the joy was incredible.” I get what he’s saying, though that wasn’t quite my experience here. (fun fact: google translate calls Baekho “White tiger judge,” which I love.)  Sanghyun caught his attention with the intro. Backstage, Woong and Wumuti agree. 

VCG says, “In the beginning, that ooh yeah part, that’s really difficult.” Jaehwan agrees, adding, “Right, because once that first note goes out, it’s over.” VCG goes on to to compliment Sanghyun’s precise pitch -- he was eating CDs, y’all. “I can hear all of your efforts,” he says, “and I bought into the song because of you.”

Solar speaks to Taewoo, complimenting his “unique technique and tone. It suited this song very well.”

As she compliments him, Taewoo closes his eyes in relief. He looks a tiny bit like he might cry.  Aww! Taewoo is lovable, I find. Well, I think most of these guys are. Anyone who wants to be a singer is somehow lovable to me.

She tells them all they did a great job -- it was a beautiful stage. 

VCG takes some time to call out the two trainees, that he had low expectations but he was wrong because they did well. No mention of Minseo rushing the beat -- I guess they only yell at Bitsaeon for that. Regardless, the praise well deserved. They say thank you and bow. 

White Tiger Judge (Baekho) adds that Minseo’s pronunciation is so cool, which is extra funny if you remember how hard of a time Minseo had with the English word “underestimate” in his teaser. (I’m not really making fun of him -- foreign languages are hard, and the rest of his pronunciation was so good that it really emphasized that one mistake.) 

Both Baekho and VCG also heap more praise on Yunseo, telling him his voice is “pretty and precious.” 

Overall, the team suited the song, and it was all beautiful. But now they have to pick a top tier. Who will it be? 

Baekho, Eunkwang, and Jaehwan vote for Lim Sanghyun. Solar votes for Taewoo, and VCG votes for Jeong Yunseo. So Sanghyun wins!

Sanhyun says he really didn’t expect it. He says his team talked about it and decided it didn’t matter who was top tier -- they just wanted to create a beautiful stage. He says he feels like he was chosen as the top tier because of his teammates, and he thanks them sincerely. 

Aww, that’s some nice team building you got going there! It’d be a shame if someone were to come along and.... fuck that all up!

Dahee says that Sanghyun had told her/the producers/someone that he wasn’t sure if he’d continue with music or not, so she thanks the judges, saying she hopes it will encourage him to continue. Jaehwan is like, hey, we worked together not that long ago! What do you mean, you were thinking of quitting music? Everyone laughs.

Sanghyun says that he really loves music and wants to continue making it. (The subtitles come back, thank god!) He just wasn’t sure if he’d be able to make it as a singer, as opposed to a behind-the-scenes person. So Build Up is a good opportunity for him. 

Beautiful team leaves the stage, and the judges say that even though they gave the standing ovation to the Don’t Go, Don’t Go team, Solar says she liked this team better. The judges all tease each other for not giving this team a standing ovation too.

And since that’s the end of the performances, I think I’ll wrap up this post here. In the next one, I’ll do a brief wrap up of the pre4 mission, then later on I'll cover the whole top tier, middle tier, low tier stuff, you know, the part where they fuck up all the team building, and that will take us into episode 3. oh my god, you know what other pasta I had an obsession over while I was at uni (I say that as if it was years ago), but I really love tortellini pasta!! something about the filling and I usually do a light garlic and butter sauce with it instead of really thick sauces!! 10/10 recommend 🫠 PLS one day I will, if you're near Angie then I'll definitely be down to cook for you guys ^^

i actually recently saw that he’s going to debut in a group with other Yuehua and Wakeone trainees from the show!! very subtle since he don’t talk about him often, but i got it 😉

Han Yujin just got back to the dorms after school, he unlocked the door and took off his shoes and backpack. He walked in deeper and looked around to see who was where, finding Gyuvin, Matthew and Hanbin sitting together on the sofa, watching something random on the TV.  Gyuvin was laying between Hanbin's legs, his back pressed to the other's front.

Yujin walked over and threw himself on top of Gyuvin. "Hyunggggg... move!!

Gyuvin whined but played his role of the big brother by wrapping his arms around Yujin's back and hugging him close.

With now the weight of the two boys practically being all on Hanbin the older groaned and tried getting himself out from under them. "Guys! Let me out, you're crashing me!"

Guvin smirked while Yujin giggled. "No thank you, we're good right here."

Hanbin rolled his eyes. "I'll give you five seconds to get off."

"What can this old man do anyways?" Guvin loudly whispered to Yujin, making sure Hanbin will hear it.

"You know what, you don't even deserve five seconds. Matthew,  mind giving me a hand?" Hanbin turned his head to look at the younger who was just quietly watching the three of them with an amused smile.

"Sure, what do you need me to do?" The Canadian asks.

"Just pull the baby off and I'll deal with the other one." Hanbin mentioned his head to the two boys laying on top of him.

"You got it." With a wink, Matthew grabbed Yujin's arm and started pulling.

"Noooo!" Yujin held onto Gyuvin tightly, causing hin the groan in pain.

"Ahh!! Yujin that hurts!!"

"Just reminding you that you encouraged him to do it." Matthew shrugged while still trying to pull the kid off.

"Okay well- Ouch! Off with you!- now I regret it!" Gyuvin gasped when Yujin dug his fingernails into his skin while trying to hold on.

"A bit too late for regrets now, no?" Hanbin smirked.

"Okay, listen- I promise to get off as soon as he's off, but please hurry!" Gyuvin let his head fall back onto Hanbin's shoulder.

"Well, I'm trying to get him off but he's pretty strong for a teenager!" Matthew exclaimed.

Gyuvin sighed and put both his hands on either side of Yujin's sides, not even giving the boy a warning and immediately starting to tickle him.

Yujin gasped in surprise and squirmed but tried his hardest not to laugh and to hold on. All the yuehua boys knew about his weakness already, but he knew if the others were to find out he would never get a minute of peace.

"Hey I think I'm doing it! I really am strong..." Matthew smiled to himself, inspecting his muscles quickly

"Oh please- you did nothing, this is all just this little baby being too ticklish for his own good." Gyuvin smirked and moved his fingers up to Yuvjin's armpits, knowing this will break him.

And it did, Yujin started laughing hysterically,  practically flying off of Gyuvin and landing with his head on Matthew's lap.

While he was gasping for air, Matthew and Hanbin were gasping from shock.

"No way! Is baby bunny ticklish?" Hanbin moved up closer on the couch to Yujin after Gyuvin got off as well.

"Oh yes, the most ticklish bunny out there~~" Gyuvin moved up as well, sitting himself next to Yujin's leg area.

With Hanbin lifting him up slightly so he could sit under his mid area and Matthew raising his arms above his head, Yujin was now getting nervous... "Guys please no!"

"Why not Yujinie?" Matthew asked cheekily, moving both his wrists to one hand and walking his fingers down towards his neck.

"Yeah, why not? If I remember correctly, you used to love when me and Ricky would do this to you, you'd always come back searching for more tickles~" Gyuvin exposed, grinning like a mad man seeing his Yujinie turn as red as a tomato.

"You dohont remehehmember cohorectly!" Yujin giggled out as Matthew was still tickling him lightly.

"Oh yeah? So you don't like this?" Hanbin began digging into his tummy and sides.

Yujin went straight into hysterics.

"Or this? You don't like this?"Gyuvin starting squeezing the boy's knees and thighs.

Yujin was really enjoying himself, but he would never admit that. Why? Because being stubborn = more tickles.

"YOUHAHA GYUHUHUS!!!!" Yujin was screaming at this point.

Hanbin and Matthew were quite amused to say the least, they never heard the youngest laughing this loud before. They will definitely have to do this again.

"Hey Yujin, how much does this tickle from 1-10?"  Hanbin asked, smiling down at the cute boy under him.

"STOHOHOP TEAHASING!!" was Yujin's answer.

"Hey, your hyung asked you a question." Matthew pointed out.

"Yeah, it'll be disrespectful not to answer." Gyuvin nodded along.

"I REHEHALY CAHANT!!"

"We'll stop when you answer!" Hanbin announced.

"10000!" Poor Yujin broke immediately.

"That wasn't even an option." Gyuvin shook his head in disapproval.

The torture continued.

"OKAY! 10!" Yujin gasped for air as the three stopped tickling him.

The all watched the bunny with adoring and loving eyes, all just approaching how adorable he is for a minute.

"You good now?" Hanbin stocked his head.

Yujin nodded, a small smile forming on his face.

Gyuvin spotted that smile immediately,  going in the poke the boy on the side one last time. "We know you love it~~"

With no powers left to argue, Yujin just huffed and rolled his eyes, that shy smile never once leaving. "Shut up."
