This feels like such a strange question to ask, but where do you read your yan Manga? I'm kinda new to reading Manga (as in I haven't done it in ages and everything I used to use has long since been obliterated) and I would really like to sink my teeth into some of the stuff you've posted!
not a strange question at all. i almost exclusively use batoto; it’s been the most consistent manga hosting site in the past few years. i read on mobile (iOS) with adblock and have never had an issue with obtrusive ads etc. if you have the means, please also consider supporting artists on places like dlsite, which lets you buy translated manga chapters.
feel free to check out my batoto lists (i update both regularly):
the red flags make him hotter (high-quality yanderes for the discerning trash enthusiast) - curated list of male yandere, ranked in order of quality
all the male yanderes - comprehensive, unranked list of male yandere i’ve found
as for discovering new yandere manga, i recommend following @maleyanderecafe and @ystrike1! they do really great reviews.
there’s a lot out there to discover, so enjoy!!!

just read one of your recs - My Dearest Witch and LOVED the trope with doting husband that's secretly a badass. A lot of times it's usually isekai or time traveling, so the FL knows that the ML is a yandere/scary, but I haven't seen a lot where the FL straight up is in the dark about it. Are there any other series that has those vibes? Seeing a husband who is a super-simp in front of wife and then behind her back is very bloodthirsty is so fun!
hi thanks so much for the ask! unfortunately I can't think of any at the top of my head that might be super similar to my dearest witch. I suggest asking @ystrike1 (who is my go to blog for decent yandere stories and where most of my recs are reblogged from) or @maleyanderecafe who like ystrike has a an extensive list of male yandere stories and can usually help recommend a few stories with specific tropes you may be looking for. Some stories I may recommend that may somewhat fit the trope your looking for are
The grand duchess of the north was secretly a villainess
My second husband
I became the younger sister of a regretful obsessive male lead
Stigma effect
while these stories may not be exactly the trope your looking for most of them have the fl in the dark or at least if they do know beforehand then the yandere may show a different side when with the fl as opposed to other people.

Hii!! I'm back with my Sukuna scenarioss🐡💗
Okay so like, yk how Sukuna is always being portrayed as this womaniser with like a the biggest harem ever on fanfics? (Tf btw) I personally believe that while yes he finds amusement in lively women, it's mainly because they'll be more entertaining to defeat or break in the perspective of a heartless mass murderer like him.
Therefore, I present to you the idea of Virgin!Tf! Sukuna (≧▽≦)💗 Hear me out- in a more canon stand point, he's def too busy wrecking havoc everywhere to sleep around, much less build a harem of all things. Although that trope def has a special place in my heart, I've literally never seen a Virgin!Tf!Sukuna🥺 Also also, just look at his reaction when a beautiful woman like Yoruzu hugged him, he was so unbothered like???😭😭😭 And ngl, I don't think he'd be interested in partaking in any sexual activities during his reign way back in the Heian era either cuz he most def killing those who even dares to touch him (cough- Yoruzu-). Although experienced Suku is def still hot😳
Also, this pic that I've seen circulating around my feed def fed into this little scenario of mine😭https://www.tumlook.com/ystrike1/post/738893419527684096
LIKE DEAR GOODNESS I'LL GIVE ANYTHING TO WITNESS TF!SUKUNA LIKE THAT🥺💗
P.S. I would like to add that your bee profile pic is an absolute masterpiece💗
P.S. #2 I'M SO SORRY FOR THIS LONG AHH MESSAGE, I GOT TOO CARRIED AWAY😭
- puffypuff🐡
OKAY NOW LISTENNNN LIL PUFFNSTUFF I feel ya on the breaking lively women like man was not moved by some tiddies swingin (and tbh like I do hc heian era tf sukuna as straight forcing himself on someone for the malice of it) BUT VIRGIN SUKU????
Never seen it never considered but oooooh boy 🥵
Like he’s just not bothered about sex, it’s a waste of time, it’s something he’s beyond because how could it compare to the thrill of everything else he’s doing? Women begging to be spared, offering their bodies in exchange for their lives, why should that move him? Because that’s all it’s even been presented as to him.
But when he finally DOES partake?? Out of his mind, incoherent, feral. Whoever takes that dick (or those dicks depending on how you hc tf sukuna) better be built different because he’s fuckin for HOURSSSS til he’s lying there, eyes rolling, hips barely moving, rutting into you for one more, just one more, make it happen for him.
Pussy drunk previously-a-virgin sukuna making my brain go brrrrr
(And thank you bb the bee was a lil dapper fella I had to have him)

hey, do u know any other good yandere recommendation pages? btw love ur page its really nice and u have good taste!! :)
Oh hey! I've seen some of your ratings and it's always great to have more people who rate yandere media. Also, thank you so much!
I actually have a page here for that kind of stuff but it's a bit old and outdated, plus I have some new places I check too. I will still repeat stuff off of that page, but here we go.
Reccommendation Blogs on Tumblr
@ystrike1 - more active lately, she does a lot of reviews based on more darker media and isekai titles amongst other things (like games or even figurines, interestedly.) Again, I don't agree that all of their recommendations are yanderes (usually they have the vibes of yandere, if you get what I mean), but they do have a lot of good stuff to go through.
@thatyanderecritic - inactive, both Julie and Kai run this blog and they do both female and male yandere reviews. Always have something interesting to say. Again, don't always agree with their takes, but it's a good place to look.
@erednayy - does a lot of reviews on yandere content and quite a variety as well, from music, to games, to books and of course webcomics.
@little-psycho-boys - on and off, but they do come on to recommend some yandere or yangire content. Very good for checking through since I used to send asks to that tumblr.
@lovesick-boys-club - has a LOT of good ones, but they're in Russian (...I think it's Russian) and not all of them are translated. Still, really good to look through.
@yandere-expressions - mostly does screencaps of yandere faces BUT does actually source them in the tags (which is a god send) so maybe look into those too.
@fuckyeahmaleyandere - pretty dead, but was a huge blog back a couple years, it's a good place to look through though.
Reccommendation Places off Tumblr
Yandere Males Blog - pretty dead, but one of the first places to look for yandere stuff when I first started. Surprisingly the comments still have recommendations from this year, so try reading through some of those.
r/yandere - mooostly female yanderes (and a lot of characters that are not), but does have occasional male yanderes plus a list that includes both males and female yanderes.
r/MaleYandere - THIS one on the other hand, all male yandere. The recommendations can be fairly unique as well. If you join their discord (you'll have to be 18+ to join) you can also come talk to me and a bunch of other yandere guy lovers.
Yandere^2 Forum -I'm actually rather surprised that this one is still alive since it's been around for years. Again, has both male and female yanderes so you might need to dig.
qiarayounglib - old and pretty dead, but you might find some nice male yandere stuff on there as well.
Yandereboy_Club - on Instagram. Has a couple of recommendations that are pretty good, though again I wouldn’t say all of them are yandere.
You can also look up lists on various manga/webcomic websites like mangagogo or look in the comments on a lot of different places. I like to find it in a variety of places (forums, youtube videos, I get a lot of recommendations from friends like Cherry)
If you find any good places, feel free to tell me, I'd love to find more things for people to enjoy!

Do you know other y-blogs that do reviews? What's the most complete yandere media list you've seen so far?
Sadly I’m going to give a very disappointing answer here: There’s not a large amount of blogs I’ve found with BOTH quantity and quality when it comes to reviews.
So prior to coming to tumblr, how I found male yanderes (or characters that were tagged as yandere- but ended up being clickbait) was typing “male yandere” in google images. I kid you not.
Now pre-tumblr, I guess the main blogs I used as a reference list to find things were:
The Fantasy Library
Yandere Males blogspot
These were review sites, but I believe both focused strictly on rating how much a certain character was a yandere. Some reviews had a little more depth, while others might have just given a yandere a number and that’s it.
I used these two sites so frequently back in the day, but I haven’t touched them in maybe 2 years now. Not only am I not sure if they are still being updated, but there may some “yandere” in there that you might not count as yandere. It’s been a long time.
From there, I’d usually then find other yandere material by extension of certain stories, word of mouth or completely by accident.
Coming to tumblr, well...
If we’re talking about reviews, then probably the best I’ve seen so far is
@thatyanderecritic
Their list has grown a lot more, and like I said they do actual REVIEWS.
One thing you’ll notice about yandere fan blogs is that more often people will post recommendations rather than reviews.
It’s just a lot easier. Finding good quality male yandere material can be a little...tiring at times. You either have to look in odd places or weed out a lot of clickbait to get to the good stuff. Reviews also take up a lot more time than just recommending something. Sometimes I HAVE seen a really good, in depth review on a particular media, but usually it’s a one time thing by a very passionate person. The author doesn’t make a habit of making reviews on various yandere media. For example, I know I’ve seen some otome games where people will go all out with reviewing the characters and story paths. But that person may be restricting themselves to just otome games then. They may not even have a large amount of otome games they’ve looked at.
Reviews require more attention, and you need to have a strong passion to review all sorts of materials.
Now recommendations, there’s ALWAYS been lots of blogs on tumblr that post things here and there.
Think when I first came I was following...
@ystrike1
@insanityroams
@fuckyeahmaleyandere
@little-psycho-boys
Now who do I have in addition?
@maleyanderecafe
@erednayy
@princeharming
(lovesicksick I believe had their account taken down)
[Please do not take offense if you happen to be a yandere blog and don’t see your name here. These just happen to be the people I found conveniently. I’m not saying no one else’s blog isn’t worth checking out XD I can be stupid picky at times too, sometimes for ridiculous reasons (like with artwork or how often recommendations pop up). It’s never anything personal. Also, lately I don’t linger as much on tumblr as I used to, so sometimes I forget to pay attention to if reblogs I keep liking are from the same person or not...oops]
If we’re talking “best recommendation” list...I’ll be honest, I’m not sure. I have no idea how old some of these blogs are. The older ones are likely going to have a lot more posts or reblogs of different yandere (though not always). If they don’t have something like a masterlist, that’s really hard to judge.
I know @thatyanderecritic and @maleyanderecafe have masterlists (that’s why I got back to them so often). They’re both still fairly new though, so I can’t say if they have the most comprehensive lists yet 0.0 I haven’t checked if the others have masterlists, but they might and I just missed them.
Speaking of which, @maleyanderecafe’s masterlist and recommended blogs page is probably a better answer for you than what I’ve given so far. You might find some more blogs to look at that way.
I’m so sorry this probably wasn’t a very good answer. If anyone else reads this and goes, “Oh I know a really good site!” please do feel free to add to this to help some people out :)

Have you ever read Lima syndrome? Heewon is scary.Spoiler: In the ending, the male yandere win.
Oh man, this one was a trip. It kinda of reminds me of the things that @ystrike1 used to recommend, haha. Sort of similar to Hocus Pocus, Sadistic Beauty Sidestory B(L), but more meticulous. This is an omegaverse story so sex and other dark topic similar are present. It’s only seven chapters, so it’s a pretty quick read.
The story starts with Mooyoung getting rejected for a job offer because he’s an omega. Ever since he was in high school and found out as an omega, he gets bullied, and the only one who really helped him was his roommate Heewon. Heewon and him eat together and after he gets drunk, Mooyoung has sex with him. Heewon wakes up the next day to work at a cafe and gets drunk again, causing Mooyoung to have sex with him once more. Mooyoung gets attacked the next day by a bunch of mooks and almost raped before Heewon comes to save him and Mooyoung gets marked by him after. The next day, he gets another email from a classmate called Jin Yerman, and goes to meet her. Heewon has been tracking him and keeps an eye on Mooyoung while he goes to visit her. There, she reveals that Heewon has actually been the cause of a lot of his problems of bullying, remarking that it was strange that he was always there to protect him when he was bullied or that someone of his caliber was always hanging out with him. The final nail the coffin was the fact that Mooyoung is not an Alpha, as confirmed by someone who tried hiring him from a different company. Upon going home, Heewon attempts to explain himself, only to come to a very angry Mooyoung. Heewon ends up kidnapping Mooyoung in a secret penthouse (because he's rich) getting him to live there for the rest of his life. We get a backstory on how Heewon fell in love with Mooyoung in the first place. Heewon always found it too easy for people to fall in love with him, so when he fell in love with Mooyoung, he saw it as a challenge. He does his best to be by Mooyong's side: wearing an earing of his favorite color, helping him study and just generally always being next to him. He feels anxious that Mooyoung is going to leave him until he sees him crying after his parent's accident and decides to invite him to live at his house. To keep him by his side, Heewon spreads rumors about him to give him a bad reputation, as well as get his mother to forge his alpha/omega test so that Mooyoung thinks that he's an omega. His mother actually did something similar with his father and is happy to do it, as she's pleased that he's gained her genes. He then sets it up so that Mooyoung can't be hired anywhere decent and has him soley focus on him. The last parts end with Heewon cutting Mooyoung's achilles heel so that he can no longer move properly and is forced by his side.
So yeah, this is definitely one of the darker bls, but I think it's executed pretty well. There are a lot of hints at the beginning that makes it seem like Mooyoung is unlucky when in reality it's just Heewon's meddling. He is definitely a manipulative and possessive yandere and it seems to be something that runs in the family, which I honestly don't see that often in yandere stories. I think what's pretty cool is that it doesn't really go the omega route (since both characters are alphas) and Heewon has to go the extra mile to get Mooyoung to rely on him since if this was a regular omegaverse story, it would be easy to simply mark him without much repercussion. It's pretty interesting to see how he was able to twist his entire world around for Mooyoung and just how much his influence on his life shaped him. It's unfortunate for Mooyoung, of course, but it's a pretty good dark read.
Anyways, a good one to read. Not too long and it's an interesting concept on something that has been done a couple times before.

Park Taeseung from Legs That Won't Walk
Legs that Don't Walk is an interesting read albeit dark and has a lot of sex in it. I realized while thinking about this ask that I'm actually reading three different things that are about the mafia or gangs. Kind of a weird coincidence. Anyways, I do think that Park is a yandere and I do think that you need to give me some teeth cuz man this was two seasons long. This summary is going to be a bit more general again because there's a lot of gang-related drama going on that I don't understand, so maybe if someone like @ystrike1 does a review on this, they'll be able to make more sense of it (it seems like up their ally, ahaha)
Kwon Suyeong is a boxer that has always been beaten down for most of his life, but he always comes back up. He gets into an unfortunate accident that leaves him crippled which leaves him unable to box anymore and cannot walk properly. His lover/sex friend Song Ji-Sung tries to help him out of it, but Suyeong refuses and continues to live his life. At some point, he gets pinned down and beat up by a gang member Park Taeseung as his uncle owes him money. Park takes an interest in Suyeong and ends up not only screwing him but also getting him a job of sorts to pay off his uncle's debts. We also meet one of Park's subordinates, Min-Hyuk who has a crush on Suyeong and causes problems for him later in the story. At some point, Song J-Sung ends up punching Suyeong, which causes Park to get angry and nearly get J-Sung's fingers cut off. Suyeong ends up protecting him but gets injured in the process, causing Park to instill a "rule" that if he gets hurt, then he will be punished. One thing leads to another and Park tries to act kind for the sake of Suyeong since he likes kind people. One of Min-Hyuk's sex friends gets jealous of Suyeong and almost gets him killed, which again leads to Park going in and slaughtering those who hurt Suyeong. Suyeong gets extremely injured because of this which leads to Park secluding him in the house for a bit and getting lovey-dovey with each other. After a while though, Suyeong starts to realize something is wrong and finds out that Park was the one who killed his uncle in the first place. He tries to escape, but Park catches him and chains him inside of the house, forbidding him to leave and threatening to break his other leg if he does. The last parts so far talk about Park's backstory and why he's so obsessed with Suyeong in the first place.
I will start off by saying that besides Suyeong, none of the other characters are really that morally good and are in fact horrible people, which makes sense because they're gang members so it's not like they were going to be nice, to begin with. Park is very violent towards others and especially doesn't like it when people touch his toy, Suyeong, even breaking agreements just to pummel a guy that hurt him. While he is very protective over him, he's also very equally possessive over him as well, making sure that his men are always watching over Suyeong as much as they can. Park is incredibly manipulative over Suyeong, having the promise to punish him if he ever gets hurt and pretending to be nice so that Suyeong will fall for him and he's willing to play this part over and over again until Suyeong does fall for him as well as never telling Suyeong that he indeed was the one who killed his uncle and forced him into debt. His backstory is pretty tragic, with his mother being a sex worker whom she eventually sold him to the gang, which a delusional and callous gang leader who taught him the only way to get the things he wants is to force the other party to rely on him. Obviously, this doesn't excuse his actions, but it does make it interesting to see why he acts the way he does. The reason he seems to like Suyeong is that he has something that he's lost before, namely his perseverance and the fact that he always gets back up. Still, though, he does refer to Suyeong as a toy that he used to have, and treats him like a pet, though it is implied that he does like Suyeong, even if he doesn't quite treat him like a person considering his actions and, you know, chaining him in his house.
Min-Hyuk isn't any better, but I found his personality charming and interesting to watch. He's one of the underlings of Park and just like him he's very violent and manipulative. He uses his sex friend as a hole for him to imagine him doing it with Suyeong, blackmails and engages in cheating and even ends up raping Suyeong at some point. He has a bit more of a smiling bastard kind of energy which at least to me, makes him more interesting that the normally stoic and "daddy" energy of Park, though again, he's also a really horrible person that did almost cause Suyeong to get killed because he was treating his sexfriend so harshly. He does get a bit of just deserts at the end of season two where he's very clearly beaten up and brought to Park after he attempts to escape with a Suyeong that has temporarily lost his memory. He's one of those characters who is definitely a horrible person but you can't help but watch what he does.
The main character Suyeong has it rough. Not only is he not able to walk properly anymore and is now in a ton of debt, but he is now constantly threatened by being by Park's side and Park himself is manipulating him and threatening him. He's the kind of person who doesn't back down from when someone is hurting them and will fight back if someone else is in trouble. He's generally a bit naive about life in the gang and seems to go out of his way to protect other people when they're about to get hurt. He initially doesn't like Park, slowly grows to like him, and then hates him again after he finds out that his uncle was killed by him. Unfortunately, he's surrounded by a bunch of tops that want to have sex with him and he's not terribly strong so they end up having his way. He deserves much better than he got.
Like I said though, I do think Park is a yandere, albeit a very physically dominant and possessive one. He tries to keep Suyeong as close to him as possible, stalking him (through his men keeping an eye on him), manipulating him into believing that he's actually nice (when he's essentially faking it so that he will grow attachment), getting extremely protective when Suyeong gets hurt at the expense of the gang's relationship with other gangs and of course the classic chaining him up and threatening to give him punishment if he does get hurt.
The story is still ongoing, though it has been on hiatus for a while. The artwork is pretty nice, though all of the clothes are really tight on all of the guys, which I get, it's for the sex appeal, but I'm always surprised that when they bend over to pick something up their pants just don't straight up rip apart. Lots of sex scenes as it's a BL.
If you're more into darker stories with more twisted relationships, then this story might just be for you.

Is 365 days a yandere story? I've read the synopsis but I'm not sure...
Actually, I did a recommendation on this series before here. @ystrike1 also has an analysis over on their blog too.
Honestly, while I was reading the series, I had strong doubts about whether or not Dosung was a yandere, since all he did for most of the series was push away the Lin and seemingly doesn’t care about her. However, in the end, it turns out that Dosung was just restraining himself from being close to her because he didn’t want to hurt her (or I guess wanted to “give her a chance to run away”). In the end though, because of Lin’s perseverance, Dosung stays with Lin, and it's revealed that Dosung has pretty much been thinking about her, dreaming about her and counting down the days until he could reveal his true side to Lin.
So yeah, I’d say Dosung is a yandere, even if for most of the series he genuinely doesn’t seem to care about Lin at all.

Do you have any recommendations for older yandere? Not really old old tho XD around 20-30 years old...? I wish they was more of them T-T luv your blog btw
Hi, hi! Thank you very much!
Hmm, older yanderes, huh? Well, most of the ones I know of come from yaoi or bl style types of stories. I’ll try to think of them the best I can.
Law from Moritat (I can’t remember exactly remember his age, but he doesn’t look like a teenager)
Baal from Kono Ai Wa, Itan (He’s a demon but his human age looks about 29)
Charles/King from Appetite (Probably around 20-30, I’m going to do a recommendation on him later)
Amakusa Ryou from Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui (Working adult, haven’t read this one though)
Baekmorae from I don’t want this kind of hero (TECHNICALLY he’s in his 30s/40s, he just looks young because of his power)
Ling from The Man that was Buried Alive (Again, not sure what his age is, but he has been working for a while, so I assume he’s around his 20s)
Guiness from The Pale Horse (Haven’t fully finished reading this one but he does look around 20-30)
Hubert from Hello, I’m your Stalker (Seems older than the male lead, who is in college)
Stockholm (One of my first recommendations)
There are probably a lot I’m missing, but that’s what I know of. Look through @ystrike1‘s stuff, I’m sure they have some others!

Do you know a good completed yandere comic? (I've seen I dont want this kind of hero)
I’m assuming you mean completed webcomics? There is a lot of completed yandere manga, but they aren’t very long per se. There’s also a lot of completed ones that aren’t translated, so I won’t include those ones.
Appetite by Lero (He’s at the very end though)
Save Me by 1234 (Platonic Yandere)
An Uncomfortable Truth by EErun (Platonic or Romantic, though depends on your interpretation)
Kubera by Currygom (Not 100% sure since I haven’t really read it)
340 Days by Miichii
Cherry Boy, That Girl by South Ant
Mr. Fu’s Favorite by Qire (Not my favorite, since its plot is spotty, also a future recommendation)
The Pale Horse by Choo Hae-Yun (Haven’t read through all of it, so I’m not sure)
A FairyTale for A Demon Lord by Kim Yong-Hwan (Never read this one either, but I heard it's confusing)
Marchen Witches by Verbin (Also never read this one)
Scent of A Witch by A Reu (Also never read)
Anyways, those are some that I know of that are completed and kind of long. There are a lot of completed manga though, so you can look through my masterlist, or @thatyanderecritic‘s master list or @ystrike1‘s or @little-psycho-boys‘s recommendations.

Do you have any recommendations for some heavy yandere stuff? Like, not "romantic"at all, just downright scary.
Hmm, heavy yandere stuff? Like horror or thriller stories? Yeah, I can think of a couple.
Although do be warned that I don’t actually read all that much horror or thriller stuff, and a lot of it is oneshots. Also for yanderes, there will always be some sort of romance or love in the story, even if it’s incredibly twisted.
Human Chair by Junji Ito
Best Friends by Sejoon Park/Jaeil Seo
The Other Side of Cleanliness by Cosmos and Vanji
Possession by Yongseok Jo and Donghoon Kim
Hand Grinder by Hyesok Yang and Chaeun Lee
Save Me by Guwonha Soseo (A Thriller and a platonic yandere if you believe those exist)
Misu Misou by Miako Tadano (I’ll be honest, haven’t read this one yet, but I have been told there’s a male yandere in there from multiple places)
Boyfriend to Death/ Fresh Blood/ Till Death Do Us Apart by Gurobob, Darqx and Electricpuke (Murdersim game, though its debatable on certain endings whether or not the guy is a yandere)
Some other ones that are more psychological horror or less romance based:
Arisa by Natsumi Ando (A shoujo that takes a dark turn, and is far less romantic than most shoujos are surprisingly)
Uruwashiki Shuen by Fujitobi (A oneshot about two boys in a zombie apocalypse)
Caste Heaven by OGAWA Chise ( A BL about an all boys school that have a caste system inside of their school)
Worldend: Debugger by Mikami Ritsuhiro (Similar feel to Danganronpa)
@ystrike1 has a lot of good recommendations on the darker side of yanderes (more recently it’s been dark BLs) and @yandere-dictionary who isn’t active anymore but has a lot of darker yanderes as well.

I'm not sure if you'll know it but I'm trying to find a manga one shot(?) I vaguely remember that I think had a yandere character or I found it from a yandere blog. Something like two guys in an apocalypse or similar setting try to find one guys girlfriend but find out the other guy had actually killed her earlier? It's a little vague but if that sounds familiar at all please let me know!
Yup! I know exactly which one you’re talking about. It was one of my recs to @little-psycho-boys before I created this blog and @ystrike1 also has it on her blog somewhere. It’s Uruwashiki Shuen by Fujitobi. The artist has a really nice style.
If it’s not that one, I can’t really think of another manga one shot about an apocalypse, so I hope that was the correct one!
#recommendations#ask#in other news im stuck in the library cuz i lost my wallet#ive done this so many times its basically a running gag haha
