(female reader)
⥠I imagine the relationship starting as love at first sight (it might be cliche but I like it-)
⥠I have several different ideas of how you two met.
1. you were hired as Aisha's lady-in-waiting or nanny and bonded over a shared love for Aisha
2. you two met at a royal ball and he became intrigued by your uniqueness (because your quirky and not like the other gir-)
3. arranged marriage (this one is kind of unlikely because his parents don't seem like the type to force him to marry someone)
⥠I see this relationship falling into the sun and moon trope. His bright and cheerful personality perfectly complemented your calm and shy demeanor.
⥠When you first met each other, something about you caught his interest, the only problem was that Isis had no clue what that was.
⥠Thus began the crown prince's investigation. He made efforts to become your friend and learn more about you. As he got to know more about you, he slowly started falling in love.
⥠Despite his cheerful disposition, Isis is no fool. I believe that he would immediately be able to figure out when something is wrong and know just how to fix it. Whether it be offering a solution or just listening to your worries, this man has you covered.
⥠Isis is a very family oriented person, so having his family approve of you would be important. Seeing you spending time with Aisha would make him extremely happy. His two favorite people in the world are getting along?! Yippee!
⥠He learned flower language for you. And gave you a knight's oath. And rented out the empire's most popular restaurant for you.
⥠Everyone's jealous of you because this man is everyone's dream boyfriend. Literally memorizes everything you like and plans the most magnificent dates.
⥠This is kind of short but I'm proud of myself since this is my first Tumblr post. Have a nice day!

"My feelings on" part 4: into the light once again and how it only takes a few gross tropes to taint what could've been a perfect piece of work.
I remember seeing the trailer for it so many times back in 2018 but I never got to read all of it since Tappytoons has a 30 ad policy just to get enough to buy on chapter. It's really good, wholesome families, sibling dynamics, a smart villain, and a magic system so the fantasy aspect wont be abandoned for cheap fanservice.
The protagonist used to be known as Alisa, 4th princess of Edenverre and was mistreated by family and servants with the exception of her younger sister, the golden child Marianne who is later revealed to be the mastermind behind the false accusations of poisoning Marianne Alisa faces. She is executed by her own family and comes back as the princess of the enemy empire Elmire, now known as Aisha she swears to one day get justice on her sister.
The revenge plot may be overrated but Into the light does it well enough that I could look past it. The politics and world building are fantastic and the element spirits low-key reminded me of gacha studio or genshin impact characters, and characters like Ashley and Mina aren't enemies for Aisha to defeat, they are people who make mistakes and are allowed to grow.
My favorite part of course is the villainess Marianne, she geninuely scares the hell out of me with her uncanny valley vibe she emits, there's always something so off about her and she reminds be almost of a monster who would star in the conjuring. Marianne has the ability to brainwash others and while I can't tell which, she either steals Alisas body or she causes an illusion affect to alter her and Alisas forms to the family of Edenverre (Really confusing but i like it) and while Marianne doesn't have as much screen time as I wished I enjoyed her while I could, because into the light treats Marianne with respect as an antagonist.
Marianne barely showing up may not even be a bad thing entirely, because while revenge is part of it, the story is built more on healing from your trauma and surrounding yourself with positive influences so it's reasonable that most chapters would center around Aishas powers and her family.
My only small gripe is a petty one but I'm pretty sure the author is an only child đ. I'm not saying that Aisha and Ysis should be full on murdering eachother but their so unbelievably protective of eachothers feelings to the point of Ysis disliking the idea of any man wanting to marry his sister in the future, ive even seen some fans get concerned that it was going into a brothe-sister thing (especially when he was included as an option for men for Aisha to be attracted to ick)
As someone who has lived with 3 siblings, the excitement for a new baby sibling dies after 3 weeks at most. But hey, they do got a large palace, maybe Ysis just had the luxury of not needing to listen to his baby sister cry at night. I also don't understand why Ysis would immediately believe that Aisha was a reincarnated soul that could remember her past. Like I know he loves her but if my sister started to tell me she was the executed princess in a past life I'd be more concerned.
I wish I could say that was the only thing I didn't like.. unfortunately as much as I love into the light once again, it doesn't stay great for very long. That was my only small gripe because I have a lot of large problems with the love interests
Aisha is 14 and turns 15 at some point but for most of the series, she's a young teen and all her love interests are leaps and bounds older then her. Starting with the big one, Luminas, a 2000 year old king of light who meets Aisha WHEN SHES STILL A BABY!
"Damn, too early, ill give it 13 more years."
Not even the second male lead is safe, Veon is the youngest of the male leads and he's basically watched Aisha grow up since he was Ysis's friend. I can't remember his exact age but I know he is at least 20 which is just... that doesn't make it any better!. There's also apparently some dude named Arsen who's also at least 25 years old and one of Alisas childhood friends, I've heard people say he's another love interest but I haven't seen anything confirmed myself so I'll just hope my 2nd favorite character isn't going to be going after minors.
I'm starring to think the author has an age-gap fetish at this point.
Quick thing I wanted to bring up, a lot of the comments on this chapter have been uncomfortable not just with the age gap and pedophilic weirdness but also this dress. It doesn't look bad but it's built like a maternity dress and for some reason she looks pregnant in a lot of shots which just.. I'm gonna hope we're all just overthinking that one because the last thing this manhwa needs is implications that Aisha will get pregnant young.
While there is a lot of people who are rightfully uncomfortable with the 2000 year age gap, there is also a lot of people justifying it. "He treats Aisha well though!" "It was normal in that time!" "Your just being too soft! Let Aisha be happy!!"
Let me bring up some real history for minute.
This is Isabella of Valois during her wedding with Richard II, she is the youngest bride currently known about in the medieval era
Isabella was only 6 years old when she married her 29 year old husband.
This is Margaret Beaufort.
She was 12 when she got married to her 24 year old husband and 13 years old when she gave birth to Henry VII
And probably one of the more well known examples, Catherine Howard.
She could have been as young as 15 and as old as 17 when she married Henry VIII who was 49.
Now did these examples make your skin crawl? Did they make you feel disgusted? Well they should, just because it was normal in that era, doesn't mean it's all of a sudden fine. There isn't even the cheap excuse that Aisha is technically over 20 given her mental age since Alisa died at 14 and Aisha is very clearly still mentally a young teenager.
Luminas and Veon are definitely nowhere near the personalities of men like Henry VIII but that also doesn't make it okay either. Especially when Veon basically watched Aisha grow up and she's his friends little sister! and Luminas knew her since she was an infant. Would it be that hard for Aisha to at least be a young adult and not a 14 year old. Because it really feels like Luminas is waiting for her to be legal since he already tells her she's his ideal woman when she's still a 14 year old.
Conclusion: Into the light once again is a beautiful story about healing from your trauma and the writting and the characters are just amazing. But it all feels like it's backpeddled when it's so heavily romanticizing or just straight up ignoring the fact that Aisha is basically a grooming victim, the relationship is practically covered in glitter to make it look better, "Sure Luminas is 2000 years old and Aisha isn't even an adult but at least he's so nice to her and he teachers her how to summon spirits! He'll always protect her!" Because while Luminas will (hopefully) never hurt her. Real groomers absolutely will. It pushes the message that as long as the man who is old enough to be your dad is sweet to you and protects you, then it's fine if he has feelings for you. Intentional or not. A story about healing from trauma supporting relationship where ones a child and ones a god with a mature mental age to boot is kind of like when movie producers fucked up the original meaning of Lolita.
Coming up on the next "My feelings on":

ok wait iâm genuinely curious and i need to know: why do people say flying by mike nesmith is about gay sex
I was kinda playing on the way everyone else says itâs about gay sex so Iâm not sure if there is a deeper meaning to why people say that but to me the song does express an urgent desire and want for something and then the feeling of amazement and elation of finally giving in and experiencing it
âIt happened tonight I had to do it or dieâ â the urgency
âIt happened tonight I finally learned how to flyâ â trying something for the first time
âI'm flying, I'm flying, I'm flying, what more can I say? It's a thrill beyond words, it completely captures the dayâ â amazement and elation at this first time experience
It could very well be about a first time experience of having gay sex
if anyone else wants to add on to this with more info pls feel free!

nahida, irminsul, and representations of cognition throughout: an analysis
As the god of wisdom, it is probably intuitive that Lesser Lord Kusanali is depicted as someone omniscient, uber wise, indomitable in logic and without flaw of reasoning. More often than not, though, throughout the archon quest and story quests, we have been shown some of her shortcomings, from her lack of knowledge in certain aspects, and her susceptibility to certain forms of trickery. In this brief analysis we discuss aspects of human cognition and learning, and compare them to aspects from the story, providing evidence for the contraryâthat, perhaps, there is no better representation of wisdom in the challenging nature of Teyvat than a god like her.
(Note: I do not claim to be any sort of expert in the topics I discuss here; this is merely a subjective analysis based on what I've learned of cognitive psychology and observed in canon. And, as with everything else I do, I did this simply because I was bored and I like overthinking things. Read at your own discretion.)
To me, Nahida, Irminsul, and Sumeru's stories are almost like this⊠super well crafted personification of working human intelligence itself. On a larger, fantastical scale, of course.
We know that the Irminsul is Teyvatâs repository of informationâbasically the brain. We know that Nahida is a branch of Irminsul, a part of that brain. And, well, this âbrainâ is actually represented in ways that are almost quite realistic, in many senses.
For starters: one of the most important functions of the brain is that it acquires informationâthat it learns. It accumulates knowledge, and while neurons do break down (and are not easily replaced, if ever), information is actually quite robust and does not âdisappearâ easily, besides the natural decay of time. There have been cases where people have lost part of their brains to accidents, yet retain their memories and even cognitive functions intactâthe brain is actually far more malleable than one may think.
And in fact, you donât âunlearnâ things. You canât âremoveâ things from your mind as easily as you imagine itâmost of the time, when you âunlearnâ or âextinguishâ something, you really are just learning a new association that counters the old one. This new association takes time to develop, and spontaneous recovery often occursâit takes time to âunlearnâ something, or to ârelearnâ concepts. In life, we often have to correct our false preconceptions (not just in science!) and adapt to an ever-changing worldâthis constant process of unlearning and relearning and correcting is, essentially, what makes us âwiserââthe more we know, the more we understand. It is a constant growth of the mind.Â
Nahida, then, being the deity of wisdom who rules over all knowledge, is a form of being where regular learning processes in cognition are essentially amplified: there is no normal degradation of âmemoryâ (as things are stored in Irminsul reliably); there is no loss of information, and yet Nahida is still able to learn new concepts and understand how they relate to the old ones, revise her understanding based on most recent evidence or events. Basically, she learns quicker than mortals with minimal risk of decay; she is a god, this element of hers (arguably) understandably exists.Â
But we also know: Irminsul itself is not perfect. We know that memories of Irminsul have, indeed, been deleted or altered. Of course this could easily be chalked up to the fantasy aspect outside of the analogy, but this could still be explained in terms of regular brain anomalies. Deleted memories could be analogous to memory loss in a sense (anterograde amnesia, cf. retrograde amnesia), while altered memories are, in fact, pretty common in real lifeâperhaps even more so than memory loss, for various reasons pertaining to heuristics, bias, and preconceptionsâeven though we tend to not realize it at all, unlike the glaring effects of memory loss.
Putting aside the whyâs and howâs for now, memory loss is typically more noticeable than altered memory, but either way, the brain can actually accommodate for memory losses/alterations by bending to fit the ânarrativeâ they previously had. The brain doesnât like inconsistencies and gapsâit will try to explain something in the most coherent way possible with whatever available facts, which is actually a helpful adaptation to have in case we cannot obtain every piece of data we need. (The phenomenon is most common in terms of visual gaps, but is also prevalent with other senses and also with memory. For more, look up constancy bias.) Though, of course, in the case of memory loss or alteration, this isnât necessarily a good thing. But in fact, this is what Irminsul doesâit restructures itself accordingly with what facts are available, constructing a âcoherentâ narrative that, as we know, is false.
From this, weâll be branching out to two points. The first is that Nahidaâs existence aligns with this analogy in the sense that the removal of knowledge from Irminsul (of which she is an avatar of) is representative of the âweakeningâ or âshrinkingâ of the brain. As mentioned previously, this is not in the physical sense, for the case of the brainâbut because Nahida is the physical representation of the abstract brain, then it makes sense that she shrunk during the eradication of forbidden knowledge. She lost all that knowledge gainedâit would have mean her âgrowthâ and âlearningâ has essentially reverted, hence she returns to a âyoungerâ form of who she once was (see Nahidaâs 2nd SQ) (though in act 5 of the AQ, it was Rukkhadevata splicing a branch off Irminsul itself, the image still stands that whatâs left of the knowledge once forbidden knowledge has been taken away is not much).Â
Now what, exactly, forbidden knowledge is, we donât know yet, but how it affects the brain would not be so much of a mysteryâthere are pieces of insightful or revolutionary findings that can influence plenty of oneâs beliefs, or the way one sees and interprets the world, which would then change the way one process information and generates new thoughts in turn. For example, imagine that one day you wake up with the existence of âblueâ gone from your mind. Nothing is blue to youâthings that you would once call blue will look greenish-yellow to you, even the feeling of âblueâ will simply be called âdepressedâ, or something else, but nothing in the world will be blue to you. That simple âremovalâ can change a lot of things from how you perceive to how you describe, which is why the effects of removing forbidden knowledge can take a huge toll, or at least a huge change, on Irminsulâhence the big metaphorical brain, hence Rukkhadevata, hence Nahida.
And second, what happened to âIrminsulâ being perfect? We cannot call Irminsul a repository of âperfectâ knowledge, i.e., that every information it contains is true to the core, because we know the information stored in Irminsul is faulty and malleable. In fact, Irminsul being âperfectâ is with respect to its functionality as a brain, as a system. Theoretically, when exposed to true information, a perfect brain should contain only true information. But we know there are forces beyond Teyvat, ones that Irminsul inherently canât capture/perceive (e.g. the twins). Itâs like us not being able to understand a dolphinâs cries, or the color vision of a shrimp, or anything beyond three-dimensional visionâthis is inherently the nature of Irminsul itself to not capture that information (with exceptions I'll come to later). Irminsul is still an essentially âperfectâ functioning brain, but inherently not designed to capture that beyond its scope. Which then would make sense why it can be altered or robbed of memories in such a way that it would not âbreakââit can self-regenerate, it can still function brilliantly. It thinks it functioning perfectly fine means itâs still intact, when in fact, it has been contaminated with false information without it even realizing.
Back again: this is very much like the brain, like human cognition. Because rational humans make judgment based on the available facts, this becomes a problem when your facts are wrong. Usually, with humans, there is a degree of confidence to which you would know whether what you know is rightâbut if you have a âperfectâ brain like Nahida theoretically does, or at least a very highly functioning one, you would have little reason to question your brain. And that, is in fact, her pitfall.
As we've seen from Nahida's second story quest, because she doesnât have all the facts, she has to make do with what she knows. And she still does that sufficiently, as her godly capabilities should allow. But she also makes decisions that quite mirror her old ones: wanting to eradicate the remnants of forbidden knowledge herself, willing to lose her power and revert her own evolution in favor of apepâs health. One would not make the same decisions if theyâve learned the catastrophic price for itâNahida is, alas, uninformed now, so she proceeds to make the same mistakes. If it werenât for the traveler, Nahida would have so easily fallen into the same rabbit hole again; this is what happens when you âeraseâ memories, or revert timeâyou are only bound to repeat old mistakes.Â
Here Iâd also like to briefly mention that because the traveler did not have a good justification for stopping Nahida (they couldnât, after all), itâs likely that Nahida would not âlearnâ why this was a bad idea, if not out of sole trust. As in, without the travelerâs continuous intervention, it is highly likely she would fall into this pitfall of her old mistakes one day⊠or would she?
Aside from her and Irminsulâs story being a very nicely fitting metaphor to the brain, she actually also represents cognitive strategies very well in her speech & personality, which solidifies in the metaphor very neatly. One major thing I'd like to point out is her constant use of analogyâwhich may sound like a gimmick or just a random personality trait. But in fact, in cognitive research, analogical reasoning has been shown to be a robust predictor of effective learning and success. So the fact that she often spits out seemingly random analogies out of nowhere isnât just a random trait, but rather, a sign that she is constantly abstracting commonalities between distinct phenomena and learning about them effectively (in contrast to rote memorization).Â
This is, in fact, an incredibly important thingâas you mightâve already realizedâbecause it combats the dependence on memorization, which weâve seen is a problem given the inherent state of Irminsul and malleable memory! And weâve seen these analogies play a very important factor in the progression of the AQs and SQs, like when she transcribed the truth about Scaramouche/Wanderer in form of a fairytale to preserve it from being lost to the void, or how forbidden knowledge was altered into a different formâthe oozing stuff in the Chasm. This is such an important aspect of Nahidaâs character because it shows that she understands that the power of transformation or abstraction transcends that of simple mass erasure, and can be used as a manner of preservation. Quite literally, the power of analogy was used to show Nahidaâs expertise not only through merely being knowledgeable, but also through creativity, just as its role is in the world.
And most importantly, it does imply that she realizes the shortcomings of her âbrainâ aka Irminsul. (I hypothesize itâs either an effect of her memory loss (memloss on a wide scale, like retrograde amnesia, would show âlossâ effects instead of adaptation, like the symptoms Nahida exhibited) or Dottoreâs intervention of telling her about false skies, that makes her realize how much she doesnât know.) Perhaps this, even, is what Rukkhadevata meant when she said âyou will be a better archon than Iâ, because she already has ways of overcoming these past cognitive flaws as well. Thisâthis realization that your brain can be functioning perfectly and still be flawed, exactly because of its perfect natureâthis is the invisible yet solid distinction between being knowledgeable and being wise. And this is why Nahida is the god of wisdom, rather than just a library that contains every information in the world.
In sum: Irminsul and Nahida is a really nice representation, whether intentional or just by pure coincidence and overreach on my part, of a "perfect" functioning brain in a world of unreliable information, and Nahida's ability to abstract hidden symbols to preserve truths addresses this issue quite admirably. All of this nicely manifests in Nahida through little quirks that may be overlooked, but (I suspect) may be very significant to her character and the development of the future plot. Thank you I am Done

YSABEL X ASTARION - the devil + the emperor
there's only one religion for the two of you, and that religion is the other. you two are very nearly unhealthily obsessed with one another, and that's just how you like it. when they touch you, they can feel the blood pumping under the surface of your skin. your hearts beat for one another. when the day comes that one stops, the other will soon after. until then, you both will live out your lives in perfect, gothy paradise. deck: the tarot of vampyres.

if there's something you want, you will GET IT. nothing escapes your fingertips. after all, you're the power couple. your pairing sparks pure cosmic energy. you're fiercely driven to your goals - whether that be status, fortune, or power. you're also fiercely protective of one another. with the knight's earthy energy, you both prefer to purposefully make your way towards your ambitions, rather than playing cards too early or acting too loosely. meanwhile, the magician's half makes gives you a little fire. if they get too close, onlookers and threats to your relationship may get burned. deck: modern witch tarot.
LUCIEN X SHADOWHEART - ace of cups + ten of cups
your romance is the love story that seems only possible in movies. it starts from a youthful first meeting, innocent. and from what may seem like a lifetime later, you both end up happily in union, perhaps even married! your coupling is the epitome of emotional fulfillment and devotion. neither of you thought you'd end up here, but damn if you aren't glad you did. deck: thelema tarot.

How is the working process on YSI?
Friends, based on your numerous comments, we realized that you're very interested in learning about what life at our company is like. đ« Therefore, we're happy to share our most intimate details with you.
Each day is truly different from the last. We all work hard toward the same goal: delighting you with your favorite stories. Today, we're ready to tell you about what our days look like leading up to the most important event - the update. đź
Internally, we follow a "sprint". It works differently on different projects.
At the beginning of each sprint, we plan the work that needs to be completed by a certain date. Each team member evaluates the scope of the work and gives feedback on the deadlines. On one project, sprints last an average of seven weeks, on another - two weeks, and on a third - one week.
Each sprint is followed by testing. đČ During testing, our technical designers and testers go through every branch of every story, from start to finish, several times to find and fix possible problems.
And, as you already know, we like to surprise you, so every update we try to bring something new and unique to the project. Yes, this process is time-consuming and not easy for us, but we are ready to direct all our efforts to please you with new, unique and undoubtedly high-quality content. â€
