Police issue warning after accidents cause traffic jam in Dubai

The Dubai Police have issued a warning on Wednesday following a traffic accident that caused traffic jams on Sheikh Zayed Road road. Dubai Police reported an accident at 7:47am through their official Twitter handle. "An accident between two vehicles on Sheikh Zayed Road after Safa bridge towards World Trade Centre, resulting in traffic delays," the Dubai Police said on Twitter.

The Dubai Police has lately arrested a person after posting a clip on social media of himself using heroin and taunting the native safety forces.

Spojené arabské emiráty jsou velmi zajímavou zemí. Teď se budeme věnovat Dubaji, která má ve fleetu policejních složek neskutečná auta. Jenže hodně zajímavá auta má třeba i u hasičů nebo u záchranářů. A právě pro lékaře teď přibyla další dvě auta: Chevrolet Corvette a Nissan GT-R.

Dubajská záchranná služba bude k pacientům vyjíždět s Lotusem Evora a dvojicí Mustangů

Tahle auta ale nejsou pouhým tahákem na turisty, ale na druhé straně ani nebudou převážet pacienty. Slouží jako rychlá pomoc, která má být na místě u pacienta o 4 až 8 minut rychleji než klasický vůz zdravotnické záchranné služby. Obě auta jsou tak pro tyto případy náležitě vybaveny a vozí s sebou například i zařízení pro Kardiopulmonální resuscitaci.

V obou případech jde o opravdu rychlá auta. Nissan GT-R má pod přední kapotou ručně montovaný 3.8 litrový šestiválec přeplňovaný dvěma turbodmychadly, který nabízí výkon až 570 koní při 6800 ot./min a maximální točivý moment 637 Nm. Motor je spojený s modernizovanou 6stupňovou automatickou dvojspojkovou převodovkou a s pohonem všech kol.

Naproti tomu Chevrolet Corvette C7 je pořádné americké železo. Tu pohání vidlicový osmiválec s objemem 4,2 litru. Jeho výkon je 466 koní a točivý moment 630 Nm. Díky tomu dokáže auto zrychlit z 0 na 100 km/h za pouhých 4,2 sekundy a jet až 290 km/h.
