Thank you Design Speak.Asia for putting up an article about the event recently done by Metrics Global collaboration with Reef Check Malaysia. It is an important event; not just cleaning up the beach but it creates awareness to the public. As we are collecting the trash, we collected the data at the same time through an application named "Clean Swell". This is an application which helps researchers on global marine debris issues. Thus, on 22nd September 2018, Metrics Global had successfully gathered more than 600 participants at over 3 locations. The participants come from all over Malaysia including kids as young as 5 years old to senior citizens. An event like this helps not only the environment but also act as a family day which also provide good education and knowledge to all. A great thank you Creative Home Magazine & In Publisher for featuring our event in their Best Home Living & Lifestyle Article ! Even so the event has passed for few days but we are still hearing our participants discussing about it and looking forward for the next one. As we gather more than 600 participants on the same day at different locations, all 3 locations had successfully given a help to clean-up the coastlines! It's been a great experience collaborating with Reef Check Malaysia and all of us given an opportunity to get to know more about marine debris.
