I can't stop thinking about this lil doodle you posted and I'm gonna ask you something. Does Tsukasa praise and caress rui scar when rui have a bad day? (Do they explore each other bodies often btw? Not in a s€xual way of course but in a way to remind each other that they're here for the both of us no matter what) sorry if my question is weird by the way 😭😭

NO YEAH I GET WHAT YOU MEAN! i do think there is.. something to be said about genuine, heartfelt touch, and the ability to explore the marks on the skin of someone you love... the way you phrased it made me laugh, but i do think it's true.

especially once rui confides in him, what happened to his arm, tsukasa kind of has an "aha" moment and a lot of things for them click. i don't want to quite reveal anything yet.. but i've hinted at it a few times.

later in the AU, the two do get very close and comfortable with one another. i wrote in one of the fics that they don't have a label for each other really, they're not boyfriends or dating or whatever, but the bond they do share is.. more than that, i'd say? to me, a romantic relationship should be more than just that, i think a genuine, strong friendship needs to be at the root of it all. and i guess i'm just projecting that onto them. that's my favorite form of ruikasa i presume. they're soulmates to me.
