So, my name is Isabela and I play as myself always so is very amusing for me to read Ysabella and Isabela in the same sentence for some reason. Like, So similar but so different! Can u also tell me how to pronounce her name? And well give me an explanation for why this isn't adressed in the story? (I know its because u cant code for every different name but I also want the twins reacting to that lol) is okay if u ignore this! (English is not my first language btw lol)

I've had so many people ask me to tell them how to pronounce certain character's names, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to type a sound 😭. I could record it, but then, you'd be exposed to my terrible Portuguese accent, and no one deserves that fate.

As for coding a warning about identical names or even adding characters reactions if you have a similar name… I didn't think of it 😄. I always use the pre-set names in games because I assume they're lore-friendly, so I didn't give too much thought to the custom names.

Remember my to-do list and how I still have to decide on my fifth final exam subject? Well…I put that aside and decided to focus on trying to find a uni degree that sounds interesting. My original plan of signing up to for an education major and becoming a teacher just doesn’t feel right at the moment. I’d study for 6-7 years plus up to 2 years of training until I’d finally be a teacher. It has been my dream for 10 years now but somehow the long (and apparently horrible) uni journey seems incredibly discouraging. So, onto finding alternatives.

Many people have encouraged me to become a social worker but given the rather poor payment in relation to the working conditions I have to decline that offer. I’d become a nurse but my emetophobia makes it pretty much impossible. Philosophy interest me a lot but I do not meet the criteria to sign up for it (as far as I know? It’s a bit hard to understand); same goes for both Latin and ancient Greek :/ English would be logical but I don’t know what I’d do afterwards; Politics would require another undergrad course and I have no idea what else to pick. Plus I fear I might not be smart enough for it…

So, what do I do now? Mourn the fact that I’m rather bad in all scientific subjects and that nothing interests me at the moment. Once I’m done with that I’ll look at different universities and other non-uni paths to take.

reading your christmas drabble oh i suddenly thought about how MGS, in a way, has found in He Tian kinda what he needed from a father figure he lost in his childhood - protection, safety, that kind of guardian, who can be stronger than him (even though he doesn’t want his protection etc).

And how He Tian has found in MGS that warm unconscious care, a domestic peace, a feeling of home he didn’t get from his mother who died too soon.

and on a similar note, I find it satisfying that their personalities manage to strike a near-perfect balance to match each other’s needs. he tian is overbearing and guan shan’s pride hates that, but if he tian was any less adamant in protecting/pursuing him, they probably wouldn’t be as close as they are now. likewise, even though he tian loves being the center of attention, if guan shan was too openly expressive about his feelings for him all the time (i.e. like the girls at school who fawn over him), he tian would probably find him disingenuous and boring

it all seems so counterintuitive when you consider their personalities at a superficial level, but it makes perfect sense when you dig a little deeper!

Hi just wanna yap in ur inbox about Erik's flying ability because I am obsessed on how he floats and I have no one else to talk to 🧍

Magneto in movies have really goofy and 'stiff' flying scenes but they makes sense to me at least like he can't "fly" like jean or any characters that can fly normally, he's literally using his body like a giant magnet...I feel like that's a really hard thing to do...like when you put to different magnets together and theyre pulling away from each other....and I think that's makes him extra cooler and he's already one of the coolest marvel character ever

I feel like he can't really relax everytime he levitates...he have to concentrate..and balance that's why his leg is always like that. Like dude is literally defying gravity... using only the metal around him.

The fact he can just ride a sheet of metal and floats anywhere he wants is really awesome...

I really love that one scene in dofp where he just launches himself on a moving train... he can't fall on top of it because he can just makes him feet stick to the metal roof....he can literally walk on walls or ceiling if it's made of metal...god why is he so cool

I imagine he always carries a piece of metal with him...just in case in he needs to fly somewhere doesn't want to use his body...he can just makes a big metal circle, sit on it...and go anywhere.
