Third Person POV
In the shadowy expanse of the dark kingdom, where the moon held sway over the night, there resided nine vampire princes. These enigmatic beings were intricately bound together by the mystical influence of the moon, their destinies interwoven like the phases of the celestial orb that adorned the night sky.
Driven by an ancient prophecy, the nine princes embarked on a quest to find their elusive soulmate, the one fated to complete the circle of their existence and unlock the dormant powers within them. Despite the captivating allure of the dark kingdom, their search proved to be a seemingly fruitless journey.
As the cycles of the moon waxed and waned, the princes pressed on, fueled by an unwavering determination to fulfill their destiny. The dark kingdom held its secrets close, and only time would reveal whether the celestial dance between the nine vampire princes and their soulmates would ultimately illuminate the shadows or forever remain veiled in the enigma of the night.
Youngbin, the second oldest among the nine vampire princes, possessed a unique blend of strength, charisma, and a natural inclination for leadership. Despite being younger than Inseong, the eldest of the princes, Youngbin assumed the role of the group's leader and, by virtue of a peculiar twist in their heritage, was designated as the heir apparent to the throne.
His demeanor reflected a balance of regality and approachability, making him not only a respected leader but also a figure his brothers could turn to for guidance. Youngbin's eyes, a mesmerizing blend of deep amethyst and the moonlit glow held a spark of determination that mirrored the responsibility he bore as the leader destined to guide their kingdom.
Youngbin's powers were uniquely attuned to governance and protection. He could command the elements, creating barriers of shadows and manipulating the very fabric of the dark kingdom to shield it from external threats. His leadership extended beyond the physical realm, as he proved adept at navigating the intricacies of vampire politics and ensuring the cohesion of the princely brotherhood.
In the quiet moments of reflection, Youngbin would often find solace in the moonlit gardens of their castle, contemplating not only the challenges of their quest but also the responsibilities that came with his imminent role as king. The moon, a silent witness to his thoughts, seemed to offer both guidance and reassurance in the face of the unknown.
Inseong, the eldest of the nine vampire princes, stood at the forefront of their quest with a regal demeanor that reflected both centuries of existence and the weight of the prophecy that bound them together. His eyes, like pools of ancient wisdom, gleamed with a timeless knowledge that surpassed the mortal realm. As the moonlight bathed him in an ethereal glow, it also highlighted the solitude that lingered in the recesses of his gaze.
Inseong's powers surpassed many, a testament to the accumulated strength of centuries lived under the moon's watchful eye. He could manipulate shadows, command the night, and communicate with the nocturnal creatures that inhabited the dark kingdom. Yet, for all his might, the one power that eluded him was the ability to unveil the identities of their elusive soulmate.
In the quiet moments between their pursuits, when the moon hung low and the kingdom slept in an uneasy stillness, Inseong would gaze at the night sky with a contemplative expression. The stars, distant and unattainable, mirrored the essence of the soulmate they sought—shrouded in the vastness of the unknown.
Jaeyoon and Dawon, the third and fourth vampire princes in line, complemented each other in ways that mirrored the delicate balance between dusk and dawn. Jaeyoon, with his captivating charm and beguiling aura, was a master of illusions, able to weave shadows into illusions that confounded and intrigued. Dawon, on the other hand, possessed a unique connection to the natural world, with the ability to manipulate flora and fauna at will.
Jaeyoon's powers of illusion made him a valuable asset to the group, capable of creating diversions and concealing their movements as they traversed the dark kingdom. His silver hair, like moonlit strands, framed his face in an otherworldly elegance, and his eyes sparkled with mischief as he navigated the shadows with an enigmatic grace.
Dawon, in contrast, had a deep affinity for the living realm. He could coax flowers to bloom in the moonlight, summon creatures of the night to aid their cause and draw strength from the very essence of the earth beneath their feet. His connection to the natural world brought a sense of vitality to the group, a reminder that even in the darkest of realms, life could flourish.
The bond between Jaeyoon and Dawon was as inseparable as day and night. Their complementary abilities often intertwined, creating a synergy that enhanced their effectiveness as a duo. In the moments of stillness, they would share quiet conversations beneath the moonlit canopy, reflecting on the journey and the mysteries that surrounded their quest.
As the group ventured deeper into the heart of the dark kingdom, Jaeyoon's illusions wove a protective veil around them, shielding the princes from prying eyes and malevolent forces. Dawon, in turn, would breathe life into the desolate landscapes they encountered, a testament to the enduring power of nature even in the face of darkness.
Zuho, the fifth vampire prince and known as the "dark one" within the kingdom, carried an aura of mystery and intensity that set him apart from his brothers. His icy glare, often accompanied by a stoic demeanor, earned him a reputation that echoed through the shadowed halls of the dark kingdom. Yet, beneath this façade of darkness, Zuho harbored a profound yearning for the love that the prophecy promised—a yearning that ran deep in the veins of his immortal heart.
His powers were as formidable as his reputation. Zuho commanded the element of ice, able to freeze time itself with a mere glance. The chill of his presence sent shivers through the hearts of those who crossed his path, reinforcing the moniker bestowed upon him by the kingdom's inhabitants. Yet, in the solitude of his thoughts, Zuho wrestled with the duality of his nature—the chilling exterior that concealed a warmth he dared not show.
Zuho's gaze, sharp as the moonlight reflecting off icy landscapes, held a complexity that mirrored the struggle within him. The shadows he cast were both a shield and a prison, a defense mechanism born of centuries spent navigating the intrigues of the vampire realm. Yet, as the moon waxed and waned, so did the longing in his immortal soul for a connection that transcended the cold solitude he had grown accustomed to.
On the moonlit nights, when the kingdom lay in a hushed slumber, Zuho would find himself standing on the parapets of their castle, gazing out into the vast expanse of the darkened landscape. His thoughts, like the swirling snowflakes around him, danced between the desire to embrace the warmth of love and the fear of exposing vulnerabilities that had long been buried in the frost of self-preservation.
Among his brothers, Zuho remained an enigma—a puzzle with edges that hinted at both strength and fragility. The other princes sensed the depth of his yearning, the silent plea for understanding and acceptance that echoed in the icy corridors of his heart. Yet, the path to unraveling Zuho's true self-proved to be as treacherous as the frozen landscapes he could conjure with a thought.
Rowoon, the sixth vampire prince, walked in the footsteps of Zuho, creating a striking contrast that seemed to embody the duality of their immortal existence. If Zuho was the embodiment of darkness, Rowoon emerged as the radiant counterpoint—the prince known for his charming and warm looks that endeared him to the inhabitants of the dark kingdom.
Tall and commanding, Rowoon possessed an otherworldly allure that drew eyes like moths to a flame. His golden hair, reminiscent of the sun's glow at dawn, framed a face that radiated kindness and approachability. His eyes, pools of warmth, held an innate ability to dispel the shadows that clung to the kingdom, earning him the affectionate moniker of the "light bringer" among the subjects.
Rowoon's powers were attuned to healing and restoration. He could mend wounds with a touch and infuse the air with an invigorating energy that dispelled the weariness that often accompanied their quest. His presence, like a beacon in the night, brought comfort to his brothers and a sense of hope to the kingdom that lingered in the perpetual embrace of darkness.
The dynamic between Rowoon and Zuho was a fascinating interplay of opposites. While Zuho's gaze could freeze time, Rowoon's smile had the power to thaw even the coldest hearts. Their connection, akin to the delicate balance of night and day, added a layer of complexity to the brotherhood, highlighting the diverse strengths that each prince brought to the collective journey.
Despite their differences, Rowoon and Zuho shared an unspoken understanding that ran deeper than the superficial contrasts in their appearances and abilities. In the moonlit nights, when the kingdom lay still, they would find moments of quiet contemplation, reflecting on the intricacies of their intertwined destinies and the significance of their roles in the prophecy.
Taeyang, the seventh vampire prince, brought a unique passion to the brotherhood—one that transcended the mystic powers and political intricacies that surrounded their quest. His heart resonated with the rhythmic beats of dance and the moon's warm glow served as both witness and inspiration to his profound yearning.
His name, meaning Sun, captured the essence of his vibrant spirit. Taeyang's movements were a fluid expression of grace and power, a dance that mirrored the celestial dance of the moon and the stars. His dark hair, like cascading shadows, framed a face adorned with the glow of someone who found solace in the rhythm of the night.
Taeyang's powers were intricately linked to his affinity for dance. As he moved, shadows swirled around him, creating ephemeral patterns that captivated the eyes of those fortunate enough to witness his artistry. His dance was not only a form of self-expression but also a means of channeling the very essence of the dark kingdom, infusing the air with a magical energy that resonated with the moon's warm embrace.
The moon, with its silver radiance, became both a muse and confidante to Taeyang. Under its watchful gaze, he would lose himself in the rhythmic flow of his own movements, imagining a future where he and his soulmate would dance together, creating a symphony that echoed through the darkened realm.
Among his brothers, Taeyang's passion for dance added a dynamic layer to their collective journey. The moonlit nights transformed into impromptu stages where the vampire prince would weave his spells, inviting his brothers to join in the celestial dance that bound them together.
Hwiyoung and Chani, the eighth and ninth vampire princes, brought a youthful energy to the brotherhood, their presence a reminder that even in the timeless realm of immortality, the essence of youth and discovery remained. Despite being the youngest, they carried a weighty responsibility as integral pieces in the celestial puzzle that bound them together.
Hwiyoung, with his tousled silver hair and mischievous eyes, possessed an affinity for the winds that whispered through the night. His powers allowed him to command the air, creating gentle breezes or powerful gusts that carried the secrets of the dark kingdom. His playful spirit added a lighthearted touch to the group, a refreshing breeze amidst the shadows.
Chani, on the other hand, was a creature of the moonlit forests. His connection to nature surpassed even that of Dawon, as he could communicate with animals and navigate the dense woodlands with an almost supernatural intuition. Chani's eyes, reflecting the deep hues of the nocturnal landscapes, held a wisdom that defied his youthful appearance.
The duo of Hwiyoung and Chani, inseparable like the moon and the stars, brought a sense of camaraderie and exploration to the brotherhood. Together, they discovered hidden pathways through the kingdom and reveled in the enchanting mysteries that lurked in the corners of their world. Their laughter echoed through the moonlit nights, a testament to the enduring spirit of youth even in the midst of their quest.
In the grand scheme of their quest, Hwiyoung and Chani, like the final strokes on a canvas, added a sense of completeness to the brotherhood. The moon, their ever-watchful companion, observed the unfolding destinies of the vampire princes, each step bringing them closer to the revelation of their soulmates and the fulfillment of the prophecy that bound them as one.
In the outskirts of the small town, nestled in the shadow of the dark kingdom, lived a girl by the name of (Y/n). Her humble existence unfolded in a small, weathered house, where she shared the simple comforts of life with fellow orphans from the town. The flickering candlelight and the warmth of shared stories painted the walls of their modest abode with a sense of camaraderie and resilience.
(Y/n), with her expressive eyes that mirrored the myriad hues of the moonlit night, navigated life with a quiet strength that belied her circumstances. Her days were filled with the simple joys of laughter and shared meals, and the nights brought the solace of a sky adorned with stars that seemed to echo the tales whispered by the elders of the town about the mysterious dark kingdom nearby.
Living on the outskirts allowed (Y/n) to catch glimpses of the kingdom's enigmatic silhouette, its dark spires reaching into the night sky. The tales of the vampire princes and their quest for soulmates were woven into the fabric of the town's folklore, a source of fascination and trepidation for the orphans who dared to dream beneath the moon's silver glow.
Among her fellow orphans, (Y/n) stood out as a source of comfort and inspiration. Her resilience in the face of adversity and her ability to find joy in the simplicity of life endeared her to those around her. As the moon cast its glow upon the outskirts, (Y/n) would often find herself gazing toward the dark kingdom, a spark of curiosity flickering in her eyes.
As (Y/n) went about her days, weaving the threads of her existence with those of her fellow orphans, the moon continued its watchful vigil over the unfolding tale. The dark kingdom, with its mysteries and the nine vampire princes bound by destiny, loomed ever closer, casting its enigmatic influence on the small town and the girl who lived on its outskirts.
The news of the impending arrival of the nine vampire princes stirred a mixture of excitement and trepidation throughout the small town. Whispers of their quest, their otherworldly powers, and the elusive search for soulmates spread like wildfire, casting a magical anticipation over the community.
As the summery day unfolded, the air buzzed with palpable energy, and the townsfolk couldn't help but feel the magnetic pull of destiny drawing near. The sunlight bathed the cobbled streets in a warm embrace, casting a golden hue over the town that contrasted with the mysterious shadows of the approaching dark kingdom.
In the outskirts, where (Y/n) lived with the other orphans, a sense of wonder mingled with the everyday routines. The small house, usually filled with the comforting sounds of shared stories and laughter, hummed with an added sense of anticipation. The orphans exchanged eager glances, their imaginations ignited by the prospect of encountering beings from the fabled dark kingdom.
Preparations buzzed throughout the town as its inhabitants readied for the arrival of the vampire princes. Merchants adorned their stalls with vibrant colors, flowers bloomed in window boxes, and the aroma of freshly baked bread wafted through the air—a collective effort to welcome the enigmatic guests with open hearts.
The summery day turned into a hazy evening, and the town's folk gathered in the central square, their faces illuminated by the warm glow of lanterns and the flickering anticipation of the impending arrival. The air shimmered with excitement, and whispers of hope and curiosity echoed beneath the moonlit sky.
The rhythmic sound of horse hooves hitting the ground echoed through the town, gradually growing louder until it became a steady and distinct beat. As the anticipation peaked, nine silhouettes emerged on the horizon, riding toward the town on majestic steeds. The moonlit night unveiled the figures of the vampire princes, their dark cloaks billowing in the night breeze as their horses gracefully carried them forward. The townspeople, collectively holding their breath, watched in awe as the nine mysterious figures drew nearer.
As the nine princes approached, the air became charged with a blend of curiosity and reverence. Rowoon, with his radiant charm, indeed drew the gaze of many despite his cloak covering his face, and the young girls couldn't help but marvel at the reality of the living legend before them. The collective heartbeat of the town seemed to synchronize with the hoofbeats of the approaching steeds, creating a harmonious symphony that underscored the significance of the moment.
The nine princes came to a graceful halt in the center of the town square, dismounting from their steeds with an otherworldly elegance. The small crowd hushed in anticipation, watched as the princes lowered their hoods one by one, revealing features that seemed to transcend the mortal realm.
Inseong, stood with a regal poise, his gaze sweeping over the assembled townspeople with a wisdom that spoke of centuries lived beneath the moon's watchful eye. Beside him, Youngbin exuded a calm confidence, a leader born of both authority and compassion.
The other princes followed suit, revealing faces that held a unique blend of mystery and allure. Jaeyoon, Dawon, and Zuho each bore expressions that hinted at the complexities beneath their exterior. Rowoon, with his warm and charming looks, smiled gently as he observed the townspeople.
Taeyang, the dancer, moved with a fluid grace that seemed to echo the very essence of the moonlit night. Hwiyoung and Chani, the youngest, exuded an energetic vibrancy that added a touch of youthful exuberance to the group.
As the princes faced the townspeople, their piercing eyes scanned the crowd, searching for a connection that would fulfill the prophecy. The air, charged with the unspoken hopes of the townspeople, crackled with a sense of destiny unfolding.
The townspeople, caught in the collective gaze of the vampire princes, held their breath as the celestial search began. Whispers rippled through the crowd, speculation and excitement intertwining in the moonlit night. Each prince, in his own way, sought the elusive soulmate who would complete the cosmic puzzle that bound them together.
In the midst of the town square, (Y/n) felt a mix of nervous anticipation and quiet curiosity. The gaze of the vampire princes, each with a unique allure, seemed to linger on the faces of the townspeople, a silent search for the one whose destiny would intertwine with theirs.
The moon, casting its ethereal glow upon the scene, bore witness to the unfolding drama beneath its celestial canvas. The small town, caught between the realms of ordinary life and the extraordinary fate promised by the prophecy, awaited the moment when the threads of mortal and immortal destinies would finally entwine.
A moment of quiet despair settled among the princes as their piercing gazes scanned the townspeople, and the weight of an uncertain future pressed upon them. The air, thick with anticipation, carried an undercurrent of melancholy as the possibility of not finding their soulmates loomed.
Yet, just as a shadow falls across a sunlit path, a subtle shift in the atmosphere caught the attention of the vampire princes. As their eyes swept over the crowd, the shadows seemed to part, revealing a figure standing at the back of the gathering. (Y/n), hidden from their direct sight, had inadvertently caught the attention of the princes through the revealing dance of the shadows.
The townspeople, unaware of the unfolding drama, continued to exchange hopeful glances, oblivious to the profound moment that hung in the air. The princes, guided by the serendipity of the shadows, felt a sudden surge of energy as their eyes locked onto the girl who stood at the periphery of the crowd.
At that moment, the world seemed to be still. The moon, the silent witness to the cosmic dance, bathed (Y/n) in its silver glow, casting her in a radiant light that captivated the vampire princes. The revelation unfolded like a dream, and the connection between the princes and the hidden girl felt palpable as if destiny had guided their eyes toward an undeniable truth.
The air shimmered with newfound hope as the princes, driven by an instinct that transcended the ordinary, began to move toward the back of the crowd where (Y/n) stood. The townspeople, sensing the shift in the atmosphere, turned their attention to the unfolding spectacle, their murmurs of anticipation giving way to a collective realization that something extraordinary was taking place.
As the princes closed the distance, the shadows continued to weave their silent narrative, revealing the connection that had eluded them moments before. Destiny, it seemed, had a way of illuminating the path even in the darkest corners of the unknown. And in that moment, beneath the watchful gaze of the moon and the curious eyes of the townspeople, the nine vampire princes and (Y/n) stood on the threshold of a fate that would bind them together in an immortal dance written by the hand of destiny.
(Y/n), standing at the back of the crowd, felt a mixture of confusion and bewilderment as the nine princes, guided by an unseen force, began to move in her direction. The sudden attention, the weight of their collective gaze, left her feeling like the epicenter of a cosmic shift she couldn't comprehend.
The whispers and speculations of the townspeople reached her ears, adding to the surreal atmosphere that surrounded the unexpected turn of events. (Y/n)'s eyes darted between the advancing princes, each step they took amplifying her sense of disorientation.
As the princes closed the distance, their eyes, filled with an intensity that bordered on recognition, seemed to lock onto her. (Y/n) questioned the nature of this inexplicable connection, her thoughts racing to catch up with the unfolding reality. Why had the attention of the vampire princes turned toward her?
The moonlit night, usually a source of comfort, now felt like a silent witness to a mystery that eluded her understanding. The shadows, playing tricks with the light, seemed to dance around the princes and (Y/n), casting an ethereal glow on the scene.
Among the townspeople, a murmur of curiosity rippled through the air. The small community, caught in the currents of destiny, watched with bated breath as the princes and (Y/n) stood on the precipice of a revelation that promised to rewrite the narrative of their lives.
In the midst of confusion, (Y/n) couldn't escape the feeling that she had become a central figure in a tale that transcended the ordinary boundaries of her life. The questions lingered, and as the vampire princes drew closer, the answers seemed poised to unfold beneath the watchful eye of the moon, the silent orchestrator of a celestial dance that defied mortal comprehension.
In the moonlit glow, Youngbin, with an air of regal charisma, extended his hand toward (Y/n), breaking through the veil of confusion that enveloped her. As he stood in front of the much shorter girl, his eyes held a warmth that contrasted with the initial intensity, and a genuine smile graced his lips.
With a gentle gesture, he introduced himself and his brothers, each prince revealing a unique presence that mirrored the diverse facets of the moonlit night. Youngbin's voice, a soothing melody that resonated with authority and kindness, echoed through the square as he spoke of their quest.
As the introduction concluded, Youngbin, still extending his hand, looked at (Y/n) with a sincerity that transcended the supernatural circumstances. "And what might be your name?" he asked, his gaze inviting her to step into the unfolding tapestry of destiny.
(Y/n), still bewildered but feeling a sense of reassurance in Youngbin's presence, took his extended hand with a small nod. Bowing respectfully, she introduced herself, "I am (Y/n)."
As (Y/n) took Youngbin's extended hand, an inexplicable spark ignited within her, a sensation that resonated with a force beyond her understanding. The touch, seemingly ordinary, carried a subtle current that whispered of connections woven by the hands of destiny.
Her world shifted when Youngbin, with a sincerity that mirrored the glow of the moon above, revealed a revelation that echoed through the quiet town square. "(Y/n)," Youngbin began, his gaze unwavering, "you are our fated soulmate,"
The words hung in the air, carrying a weight that transcended the ordinary. (Y/n), caught between the realms of disbelief and destiny, processed the profound declaration. The townspeople, overhearing Youngbin's words, fell into a collective hush as they witnessed the unfolding of a tale that defied the boundaries of their understanding.
The moon, casting its ethereal glow, seemed to intensify its radiance as if acknowledging the significance of the moment. The shadows, playing their silent dance, whispered secrets that only the celestial realm comprehended.
As the realization settled within her, (Y/n) met Youngbin's eyes, searching for confirmation in the depths of his gaze. The connection between them, sparked by the touch of their hands, resonated with the unspoken threads of destiny that bound the vampire princes together.
The small town, now a stage for an extraordinary chapter in the tale of the nine princes, held its breath as the cosmic dance of fate unfolded beneath the watchful gaze of the moon. In that moment, (Y/n) stood at the intersection of two worlds, her ordinary existence now intricately intertwined with the extraordinary destiny that awaited her and the vampire princes.
The weight of Youngbin's revelation hit (Y/n) with such force that she felt the ground shift beneath her. The shock nearly caused her to lose her footing, and she stumbled, the world tilting on its axis. However, before she could fully lose her balance, Jaeyoon, with reflexes as quick as moonlight, appeared by her side in an instant.
His strong and steady presence became her anchor, and Jaeyoon's supportive grasp ensured that (Y/n) regained her balance. The touch, though brief, carried a comforting reassurance, as if the vampire prince, with a silent understanding, sought to ease the overwhelming impact of the revelation.
"(Y/n), are you all right?" Jaeyoon asked with genuine concern, his eyes reflecting a mixture of empathy and curiosity. The townspeople, still caught in the collective hush, observed the unfolding scene with a sense of awe and wonder.
Taking a moment to compose herself, (Y/n) met Jaeyoon's gaze, a myriad of emotions swirling within her. The reality of being the fated soulmate of the nine princes began to settle, and the cosmic significance of the moment lingered in the air.
The moon, a silent witness to the unexpected turns of fate, continued to cast its glow upon the small town square. The shadows, now holding a different resonance, danced around the group, adding an ethereal quality to the unfolding drama.
As (Y/n) steadied herself, the realization of her newfound destiny intertwined with the journey of the vampire princes. The moonlit night, once ordinary, had become the stage for a tale that would leave an indelible mark on the quiet town and the girl who stood at the center of a prophecy that transcended the boundaries of mortal understanding.
Inseong, with the authority befitting the eldest of the vampire princes, raised his hand, dismissing the rest of the crowd to allow him and his brothers some private time with their newfound soulmate, (Y/n). The townspeople, a mixture of awe and curiosity, began to disperse, giving the group of vampires the space they needed.
However, a handful of curious onlookers, drawn by the mysterious allure of the vampire princes and the unfolding saga, hesitated to leave. They lingered at the edges, attempting to catch a glimpse of the extraordinary encounter between the immortal beings and the girl who held the key to their destiny.
Among those who lingered, some tried to push the boundaries of Inseong's order, perhaps fueled by a desire for proximity to the supernatural spectacle. This disobedience didn't sit well with Zuho, the "dark one" of the vampire princes, who sensed the treacherous undertones in the lingering presence of the onlookers.
Zuho, with a stern expression and an icy glare that matched his reputation, decided to take matters into his own hands. In a swift and almost imperceptible motion, he summoned the power of ice, causing an ephemeral frost to trail from his fingertips. The temperature dropped, and a chill permeated the air, sending shivers through the lingering onlookers.
The sudden manifestation of Zuho's powers, coupled with his intimidating demeanor, sent a collective shudder through the crowd. The frost danced in the moonlit night, a warning that echoed the boundaries set by the vampire princes. The lingering townspeople, now thoroughly spooked, scattered like leaves in the wind, yielding to the will of the supernatural beings in their midst.
With the unwanted spectators dispelled, the town square returned to a semblance of calm. The vampire princes, flanked by the enigmatic presence of (Y/n), were left with the solitude needed for a conversation that would unravel the intricacies of the prophecy and the destinies entwined in the moonlit night. The moon, casting its serene glow upon the scene, bore witness to the unfolding tale that danced on the edges of the extraordinary and the ordinary, a tale that defied the boundaries between the mortal and the immortal realms.
Feeling the sudden drop in temperature induced by Zuho's display of power, (Y/n) couldn't help but shiver in response to the chilling atmosphere that surrounded her. The unexpected frost in the air sent a wave of cold through her, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around herself, seeking to ward off the sudden chill.
Noticing her discomfort, Hwiyoung, the gentle and breezy vampire prince, reacted with swift kindness. Without hesitation, he removed his cloak and, with a graceful motion, draped it around (Y/n). The fabric, imbued with the essence of Hwiyoung's powers over the winds, enveloped her in a cocoon of warmth.
"There, that should help," Hwiyoung said, his voice carrying a soothing quality that echoed the breeze. The cloak, with its ethereal touch, seemed to respond to the elements under his command, creating a pocket of comfort for (Y/n) amidst the lingering traces of frost.
The gesture didn't go unnoticed by the other princes, each of them keenly aware of the small yet significant interactions unfolding in the moonlit night. The group, now standing in a more secluded part of the town square, prepared for the conversations that would shape the next chapters of their intertwined destinies.
As (Y/n) stood enveloped in Hwiyoung's cloak, the warmth and protection it offered became a tangible symbol of the bond forming between the vampire princes and their fated soulmate. The moon above, a silent witness to the ebb and flow of emotions, continued to cast its serene glow, setting the stage for the unraveling tale that lay ahead—a tale in which the ordinary and the extraordinary danced in harmony beneath the celestial canvas.
As the moonlit night embraced them in a quiet solitude, (Y/n) found herself standing with the nine vampire princes, a question weighing on her heart that she couldn't ignore. In the hushed stillness of the moment, she mustered the courage to voice the inquiry that lingered in her mind.
"What does it mean to be your soulmate?" she asked, her voice a gentle yet earnest murmur beneath the night sky.
The princes, their expressions a blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary curiosity, exchanged glances as if silently communicating the gravity of the question. Inseong, the eldest, stepped forward, his eyes holding a depth that spoke of centuries lived beneath the moon's watchful gaze.
"To be our soulmate," Inseong began, his words measured and resonant, "means that your destiny is intricately tied to ours. It means you hold the key to unlocking the dormant powers within us, powers that, when united, can reshape the very fabric of our existence."
Youngbin, with his charismatic presence, continued the explanation. "It means that, together, we fulfill a prophecy that binds us as one. Your connection with each of us is unique, and through that connection, the magic that resides within can be awakened."
Hwiyoung, ever attuned to the winds of change, expressed, "Being our soulmate means becoming a part of a cosmic symphony, where each note, each thread, contributes to the grand design of our shared destiny."
Chani, with his connection to the natural world, added, "It means finding harmony not just with us but also with the elements that surround us, a balance between the supernatural and the ordinary."
In this exchange, (Y/n) gained glimpses into the complexities of the prophecy, each prince offering a piece of the puzzle that was their shared destiny. The moon, casting its silvery glow upon the group, seemed to listen to the unfolding dialogue that would shape the path ahead.
As the explanation unfolded, (Y/n) absorbed the weight of her role in this cosmic narrative, her ordinary existence now intricately woven with the extraordinary destinies of the nine vampire princes. The moonlit night, witness to their revelations, held the promise of a journey that would transcend the boundaries of the known and venture into the realms of magic, fate, and the timeless dance of the celestial.
Dawon's words echoed through the moonlit night, each syllable carrying the weight of an eternal promise. As the youngest among the vampire princes, his expression softened with a sincerity that transcended the ages.
"It also means," Dawon continued, his voice gentle yet unwavering, "to spend the rest of our lives together, an eternal bond of love."
The revelation hung in the air, a profound declaration that resonated with the timeless nature of the vampire princes' existence. The moon, casting its ethereal glow upon the gathering, seemed to embrace the weight and beauty of the commitment being offered.
The other princes, their eyes reflecting the depth of emotions that accompanied Dawon's words, nodded in agreement. In that moment, the small group stood at the threshold of an extraordinary journey—a journey that would unfold not just beneath the moonlit sky but across the vast expanse of time itself.
"(Y/n)," Taeyang spoke, "you are the missing piece in our eternal puzzle. The completion of our bond heralds an ageless love that transcends the boundaries of mortal understanding."
As the revelation settled, (Y/n) felt a mixture of awe and trepidation. The prospect of an eternal bond, a love that spanned lifetimes, held both the allure of the extraordinary and the weight of profound responsibility.
The moon, now a silent witness to the unfolding vows, continued its watchful gaze. The vampire princes and (Y/n), standing beneath its silvery glow, became a testament to the enduring power of love that, like the moon itself, wove through the tapestry of time, leaving an indelible mark on the pages of an immortal tale.
With the weight of the eternal bond and the unfolding destiny settling in the air, (Y/n) decided to lighten the atmosphere with a question that hinted at the practicalities of their newfound connection. A playful smile graced her lips as she inquired, "So, will I be moving to your castle, or are you all planning to live in my small town?"
The question brought forth a chorus of chuckles from the vampire princes, a welcome respite from the weighty discussions of destiny and eternal bonds. Each prince exchanged amused glances, their laughter reflecting the camaraderie that existed among them.
Chani, spoke with a twinkle in his eye, "Well, (Y/n), the castle does have a certain timeless charm, but we are more than willing to adapt to the comforts of your small town if that's your preference."
Youngbin, with his charismatic presence, added, "After all, the magic lies not just in the grandeur of castles but in the simple joys of everyday life."
The other princes, in turn, expressed their willingness to embrace the lifestyle of (Y/n)'s town, acknowledging that the choice was a shared one. Jaeyoon, with a warm smile, mentioned the appeal of a close-knit community, while Dawon playfully commented on the prospect of exploring the town's charms.
Zuho, known for his icy demeanor, surprised everyone with a teasing remark, "Who knows, perhaps the 'dark one' might find warmth in the quaint corners of your town."
Rowoon, with his charming demeanor, chimed in, "Whether castle or town, our home is where our soulmate is."
The playful banter continued, creating a lighthearted atmosphere amidst the profound discussions. The moon, still casting its serene glow, seemed to appreciate the balance between the weight of destiny and the joy found in the simplicity of shared laughter.
As the vampire princes and (Y/n) stood beneath the moonlit sky, the question of where their shared journey would unfold became a topic of mutual consideration. The choices ahead, whether within the walls of a castle or amidst the familiarity of a small town, reflected the harmonious dance of the extraordinary and the ordinary—a dance that would define the chapters of their eternal bond.
Youngbin's words, infused with the weight of responsibility as the crown prince, conveyed the practical necessity of returning to the castle. The reality of ruling a kingdom required their presence in the realm they governed. As he spoke, there was a sincerity in his gaze that sought understanding, recognizing the potential complexities that such a decision might carry.
"However, truthfully, we must return to the castle. We cannot rule the kingdom from here. Will you come with us?" Youngbin's question hung in the air, carrying the weight of the choices that (Y/n) now faced.
(Y/n), with a thoughtful expression, considered the implications of such a decision. The life she had known in the small town, with its simplicity and shared moments, tugged at the strings of familiarity. Yet, as she reflected, she found no binding strings that tethered her to the town. The unfolding connection with the vampire princes, the promises of an eternal bond, and the destiny that awaited seemed to beckon her toward a path that transcended the boundaries of her ordinary existence.
In the quiet moments that followed, Youngbin's gaze held a blend of anticipation and respect, recognizing that the choice was a significant one. The other princes, standing beside him, awaited (Y/n)'s response with a mixture of curiosity and understanding.
As (Y/n) pondered the question, the moon, the silent witness to the ebb and flow of destinies, continued to cast its gentle glow upon the scene. The night, pregnant with possibilities, held the promise of a journey that could unfold within the storied walls of a castle, where the echoes of their shared destiny would resonate through the corridors of time.
The decision, a pivotal moment in the tale that bound the vampire princes and (Y/n) together, awaited a choice that would shape the course of their eternal bond.
With the weight of the decision hanging in the air and the moon casting its serene glow upon the scene, (Y/n) took a moment to contemplate the choices before her. The prospect of life within the castle intertwined with the destiny of the vampire princes, and the responsibilities that came with ruling a kingdom were not decisions to be taken lightly.
After a minute or two of thoughtful consideration, (Y/n) looked at the vampire princes, her eyes reflecting a newfound determination. With a soft yet resolute voice, she answered, "Yes, I will come with you."
The words, like a gentle breeze, carried a promise that resonated with the destiny written in the stars. The vampire princes, their expressions a mix of joy and gratitude, exchanged glances that spoke volumes about the significance of (Y/n)'s decision.
Youngbin, the crown prince, nodded with a sense of responsibility fulfilled, recognizing the gravity of the commitment. The other princes, each harboring their unique connection with (Y/n), welcomed her decision with a shared understanding that their shared journey was set to take a new and extraordinary turn.
As (Y/n) stepped into the path of the unknown, the moon above seemed to smile upon the gathering, casting its approval upon the choice that would shape the destinies of mortals and immortals alike. The night, now filled with the promise of a shared future, stood as a testament to the enduring power of love and the harmonious dance of ordinary and extraordinary moments beneath the watchful gaze of the celestial realm.
And so, the vampire princes and their fated soulmate embarked on a journey back to the castle, where the tapestry of their eternal bond would continue to unfold in a tale written by the hand of destiny.
Taeyang's thoughtful inquiry about (Y/n)'s belongings, met with her admission of only having a handful of half-broken clothing, prompted a kind and considerate response from the gentle prince. "We'll make sure you have everything you need," he assured, a warmth in his eyes that mirrored the promise of care and provision.
Jaeyoon, known for his charming and affable nature, leaned down and whispered in (Y/n)'s ear. His voice, a soft murmur against the backdrop of the night, carried a reassurance that hinted at the opulence awaiting her in the castle. "At the castle, you'll have the most beautiful things and clothes," he shared, his words weaving a vision of a life beyond the confines of the small town.
The prospect of a new beginning, adorned with the luxuries and splendors of the castle, brought a glimmer of anticipation to (Y/n)'s eyes. The contrast between her humble belongings and the promise of a life filled with opulence seemed to symbolize the transformative journey she was about to undertake.
As the vampire princes and (Y/n) prepared to leave the small town behind, the moon, casting its silver glow, bore witness to the exchange of promises and the anticipation of the extraordinary destiny that lay ahead. The night held the echo of whispered assurances, the rustle of cloaks, and the collective heartbeat of those bound by the threads of an eternal bond.
The journey back to the castle, where the vampire princes and their soulmate would begin a new chapter, unfolded beneath the celestial canvas. The night, with its mysteries and promises, embraced them in its tender embrace, marking the commencement of a tale that transcended the boundaries of time and mortality.
As the decision was made to begin the journey back to the castle, the vampire princes, with an air of purpose, started to mount their horses. In the midst of this organized activity, Zuho, the "dark one," extended his hand toward (Y/n). The gesture was an unexpected yet graceful invitation—a hand offered not just in assistance but in a shared journey.
Zuho's icy gaze softened for a moment, revealing a depth of consideration and perhaps a hint of the vulnerability beneath his stoic exterior. The hand he extended toward (Y/n) held a silent promise of companionship on the path that lay ahead.
With a small yet appreciative smile, (Y/n) accepted Zuho's hand. His touch, surprisingly gentle, conveyed a silent understanding that transcended words. With his guidance, she mounted the horse behind him, finding herself positioned to ride alongside the "dark one" as they embarked on the journey back to the castle.
The other princes, mounted on their steeds, glanced back with smiles that held a mix of camaraderie and anticipation. The moon, now a celestial companion to the riders, continued to cast its ethereal glow upon the scene, blessing the beginning of a journey that promised to be as magical as the night itself.
As the group set forth on horseback, the clip-clop of hooves echoed through the night, harmonizing with the rustle of cloaks and the whispers of destiny. The small town, now a fading memory in the distance, marked the point of departure for a tale that would unfold within the walls of the castle—a tale written by the hand of fate, guided by the moon, and carried forward by the eternal bond that bound the vampire princes and their fated soulmate.
Life at the castle unfolded like a dream for (Y/n), a dream adorned with opulence, enchanting corridors, and the company of the vampire princes. Each passing day brought a cascade of romantic moments that seemed to transcend the ordinary boundaries of time and space.
The castle, with its majestic halls and secret passages, became a backdrop for shared laughter, whispered promises, and stolen glances. (Y/n) found herself immersed in a world where the extraordinary mingled seamlessly with the ordinary, where the moonlit nights held the promise of eternal love.
Her heart, once beating to the rhythm of a small town's simplicity, now quickened with every romantic gesture, every shared gaze, and every touch exchanged with the vampire princes. The bond between them deepened, and the feelings (Y/n) harbored for the boys grew, a symphony of emotions that resonated within the castle's grand walls.
As the moon continued its watchful gaze over the castle, the love story within its walls unfolded like a tapestry woven with threads of magic and destiny. The small town, now a distant memory, had given way to a life where each romantic moment marked a page in the timeless narrative that celebrated the extraordinary connection between mortals and immortals.
The romance, woven into the very fabric of their shared existence, became a testament to the enduring power of love that defied the constraints of mortality. Whether it was a dance beneath the chandeliers, a shared moment on the castle battlements, or a stolen kiss in the moonlit gardens, each romantic interlude added a new verse to the eternal ballad that bound the vampire princes and (Y/n) together.
In the castle's vast library, Youngbin and (Y/n) found a shared haven among the shelves of ancient tomes and modern novels. Engaged in passionate discussions about literature, their intellectual connection blossomed into something deeper. Amidst the scent of aging parchment, they shared stolen kisses, each one a promise sealed between the pages of a romantic novel.
In the serene castle gardens, Inseong became (Y/n)'s patient guide in the art of drawing. Surrounded by blooming flowers and the soft rustle of leaves, their afternoons were spent capturing the beauty of the world on paper. With each stroke of the pencil, a silent dialogue unfolded, expressing emotions that words could not convey.
Jaeyoon, with his affinity for nature, led (Y/n) through the enchanting castle greenhouse. Amidst vibrant blooms and exotic plants, they explored the hidden corners of the botanical sanctuary. The air filled with the sweet scent of flowers as they discovered the magic that flourished in the heart of the castle.
Dawon, with a penchant for elegance, whisked (Y/n) away on a shopping spree through the castle's extensive wardrobe. As he selected the most exquisite gowns, each fitting (Y/n)'s figure like a dream, their bond deepened amidst the swirl of silk and the shimmer of jewels.
In the heart of winter, Zuho created an enchanting ice rink within the castle grounds. Hand in hand, they glided across the frozen surface, the crisp air echoing with laughter and the scrape of skates. Under the starlit sky, Zuho guided (Y/n) through a dance on ice, a metaphor for the delicate balance of their shared journey.
Cozy nights in the castle's private theater became a sanctuary for (Y/n) and Rowoon. Snuggled under warm blankets, they watched movies that spanned genres, their laughter and shared commentary creating a soundtrack to their growing affection. In the dim glow of the screen, Rowoon held (Y/n) close, each frame capturing a moment frozen in time.
Taeyang, with the rhythm of a dancer's heart, twirled (Y/n) under the moonlit sky. The castle ballroom became a stage for their shared dances, each step a declaration of love set to the music that echoed through the grand halls. In the embrace of the waltz, Taeyang and (Y/n) found a harmony that transcended the ordinary.
Beneath the blanket of the midnight sky, Hwiyoung and (Y/n) shared intimate picnics on the castle battlements. Surrounded by the soft glow of lanterns, they exchanged innocent kisses as the stars bore witness to the quiet moments that illuminated the night.
In the castle's music room, Chani became (Y/n)'s patient instructor in the art of piano. Guiding her hands across the ivory keys, they created melodies that echoed through the castle corridors. In each chord and refrain, a symphony of emotions unfolded, expressing the depth of their connection in a language that only music could convey.
The castle, once a vast expanse that echoed with the footsteps of nine vampire princes, had held an air of grandeur that seemed to stretch into endless corridors. Despite the camaraderie among the princes, there lingered a sense of solitude, a quiet loneliness that whispered through the empty spaces.
However, with the arrival of (Y/n), the castle underwent a transformation. The once seemingly boundless halls now resonated with shared laughter, the warmth of companionship, and the echo of shared moments. The castle, once a majestic but solitary fortress, began to feel alive, each room infused with the energy of newfound connections.
The presence of just one more person had turned the castle into a home. The grandeur of its architecture and the opulence of its halls became the backdrop for a tale of love and shared destinies. The once-lonely corridors now held the imprint of shared footsteps, and the walls, witnesses to individual and collective moments, seemed to radiate a newfound warmth.
As (Y/n) navigated the castle's twists and turns, she found comfort in the familiarity of the vampire princes' presence. The once-never-ending halls now felt like a tapestry woven with threads of shared experiences, a testament to the bonds that had transformed a fortress into a home.
The castle, with its storied history and timeless architecture, became more than just a residence for the vampire princes. It became a haven, a sanctuary where love, laughter, and the echoes of shared moments filled the air. The once-lonely castle had found its heart, and that heartbeat in harmony with the collective rhythm of its newfound residents—a home that embraced the extraordinary and celebrated the magic of connection.

[♫ mamamoo - décalcomanie]
❧ youngbin (sf9) // fluff/suggestive
Smiling into the kiss, you briefly press yourself closer into Youngbin before teasingly pulling away and looking at the elevator door like nothing is happening. Like you’re just waiting impatiently to get home, without your hair a mess and your lipstick indecently smudged at one corner. You bite your lip and hold your breath to hear him panting softly behind you before he pushes himself off the wall. You hum when his strong arms wrap around you from behind and his lips immediately nip at your ear before attaching themselves to your neck. Acting unaffected is hard when all you want is to let him do as he likes. But you shouldn’t. You really shouldn’t. And maybe that’s why it is so sweet. As if sensing your second of hesitation, Youngbin pulls away. You won’t have that though, you decide as you slide your fingers into his hair and pull him closer. I like this, you purr, and it’s all the reassurance he needs.

Hey, if your requests are still open, could you please do a sf9 reaction where they are out with some friends and with them there's also a friend of friends which is the reader and they never met before but they don't know the boys are famous and so they treat them as normal people?
Hello Lovely <3 I hope this is what you wanted xx
SF9 Reaction: When you don't know them
Youngbin meets you through friends at a small get together. You begin chatting and he realises how much you both have in common. When you ask him what he does for a living he finds himself smiling and awkwardly looking at his feet. He finds it incredibly cute that you don't recognise him and tells you he works in music management, not really wanting to give himself away. As you spend more time talking together, he eventually asks for your number and invites you on a date where he plans to open up more about his job.
When you both meet at a birthday dinner for a mutual friend, he finds himself inwardly laughing when you ask for his name upon being seated next to him. He can't help but feel drawn to you and keeps dropping not so subtle hints as to who he is. Eventually your friend pulls you to one side and pulls up Inseong's details on the internet to save you from further embarrassment as you were the only clueless one at the table. You find yourself apologising several times and telling him you enjoy his music. A few days later he builds up the courage to ask the friend for your number as he can't seem to get you out of his mind.
Jaeyoon can tell by the look on your face when you're introduced to each other that you have no idea who he is, so he ends up deciding to run with it. He is the type to make up an elaborate story about being a lion tamer or racing car driver and enjoy the cute/shocked look on your face. He finds you so innocent and adorable that he can't keep himself away from you. Eventually when someone else joins the conversation and asks him about his groups comeback, it eventually clicks in your mind who he is. You apologise profusely and he just waves it off as nothing. Definitely will ask if you want to make it up to him though by allowing him to take you out and how could you say no to that face.
You reach out to shake his hand and ask for his name after being introduced and his eyes grow to be the size of saucers. Dawon will laugh at first thinking its a joke but eventually will realise you're being serious. Ends up taking you by the hand to the nearest table and passing you a headphone before putting the other in his ear. Makes you listen to several songs and feels proud when you recognise some. Tells you that you need to meet up regularly for more SF9 lessons, but really just wants to spend more time with you.
Zuho's group means everything to him and he is so proud to be apart of it. When the two of you meet for the first time, he is shocked when you don't know who he is. He seems like he would take it quite personally so you end up in a long discussion about SF9's discovery and you can't help but smile and how cute and passionate he is when he explains it all to you. He continues to discuss it whilst walking you home and the only way to stop him from talking is to kiss him.
Everyone's eyes are on him when he enters his friends open day party for their new clothing store. You see alot of people taking pictures and asking for autographs. You however slink into the corner having no idea who he is and racking for brain for ideas. Your friend would introduce you both and you find yourself asking what he does for a living...best to be upfront instead of pretending to know. You see his eyes widen a little before a smile settles on his face. Once he explains who he is, he realises that you haven't gone into a fan girl moment like alot of people do upon meeting him. Spends the rest of the evening hovering around you and finding himself jealous when another man approaches you. After you break away from others to get yourself a drink, he would be super open and ask you out on a date.
Taeyang is another one who would be open about his career when you first meet. He isn't too shocked you don't recognise him but he definitely uses the opportunity to get to know you more whilst explaining about himself. By the end of the night you are both entrapped in a discussion about music, movies and the meaning of life. His softness and warmth makes you feel a sense of comfort you didn't know existed. It will be you who makes the first move by passing him your number and kissing him on the cheek before quickly leaving the venue. Safe to say you already have your next several dates planned together.
Hwiyoung would enter your friends birthday party looking all cool and dripping with confidence. Confidence which is knocked when you ask for his name. He can't work out whether your joking or being serious so would just stare at you blinking waiting for you to waiver. Eventually once he has gotten over the small shock he explains who he is and can't help but feel butterflies in his stomach when you recognise their newest song. Hints heavily about you coming to a concert they were having and takes your number to send you the details, whilst secretly planning to ask the group on how he can ask you out properly.
Nothing really fazes Chani so he's not in complete shock when you don't recognise him at an art show held by your friend. He can come off as quite distant and you're not quite sure why at first. Chani would be quite happy to let you talk and get to know you better before dropping the bomb that he's a famous singer and actor. Would awkwardly ask you out and pass you his number before turning on his heel and leaving you stood there dumbfounded.

Hi dear¡! ♡
Can I ask SF9 how they showed their love to their partner? (Hugs, kisses, physical touches, loving words, etc)
Sorry for my english 🥺
Your English is fine hun! Plus the language is kinda stupid hehe
SF9's Love Languages 🩷
Warnings: These are what I think are SF9's top love language. Of course it is impossible for such lovely people to have just one 😔. Mention of food/cooking in Tae's. Tea is Chani's.
Youngbin
WORDS 👏 OF 👏 AFFIRMATION 👏
I will literally physically fight if anyone disagrees with me lol. Our man is so wise and sweet and his voice is just is soothing so I just think that his ultimate way to show you appreciation will be through words. Plus man's a great and creative lyricist.
Inseong
Quality time
Well, it's mostly just him trying to make you laugh by saying and making up the stupidest jokes, if you can call them that, ever. I'm also a strong believer that this man just wants to annoy you enough to start a debate with him cuz he's bored lol
Jaeyoon
Physical Touch
Maybe this is me projecting my needs maybe it is not okay idk. But let's be honest here, this man is the cutest ever and he will want to squish your cheeks, irrespective of squishyness quotient. He also likes to hug you, literally engulf you in his broad af chest and baby you although you want to baby him don't we all
Dawon
Acts of service
I just love him sm 😭. See, he's the kind to leave you sweet sticky notes with reassuring words and a drawing or something stupid on the back lol. But yeah it's all the small things that he'll do like buying you a new chapstick before your old one gets over, bringing your water bottle around even when you tell him you won't carry it, letting you use his arm as a pillow during the long car ride to your destination although it definitely hurts after some time, fixing your hair when you're distracted, etc. Bye I need a Sanghyuk
Zuho
Words of Affirmation
He is so much different that Youngbin tho lemme tell you. So Bin uses maturity and juju uses his baby voice(?) aka he does aegyo and makes you feel all mushy inside. I mean, he is cute.
Rowoon
Gift Giving
It won't necessarily be stupid gift all the time, he does give you good ones occasionally like a sunscreen stick for example. Most of the time it is something useless and weird like a spoon pillow or some shit but it's the thought that counts right?💀
But no on a real note he's super thoughtful when he gives you gifts and he thinks of it as something that'll remind you of his love when you use it.
Yoo Taeyang
Acts of Service
It could be doing your laundry or cooking for you or putting you phone on charge. It's the little things that you need in your daily life that sometimes get so difficult to manage. But don't worry, our teddy Tae is here to be your little lovely helper fairy, even if you don't ask or notice it right away.
Hwiyoung
Physical Touch
Yes he hates skinship from members but you, no. He loves clinging to you and hugging you and kissing you. He's like a mama cat and you his kitten and he wants to kith and protecc and love you so much till you physically have to be away from him lol
Chani
Quality Time
It doesn't even have to be like an eventful couple of hours. It could just be him laying on your lap taking a nap and you reading you book and playing with his hair, giving him a head massage or tracing his cute facial features. It could also be sitting on the rooftop with hot tea cups and talking about life while nuzzling into each other for warmth.

You rubbed at the bags under your eyes, a shaky breath leaving your lips. Your eyes were red from crying, clutching at his pillow for comfort that he couldn't give you.
This had been going on for who knows how long at this point, and you were starting to get tired. Literally and figuratively. You were sleeping less because he was never home, and when he was he'd arrive early and then leave before you were up. You were so sick and tired of going to bed without him, waking up without him. It felt like you were slowly shutting down, your routine becoming robotic.
You sighed, running a hand through your hair before checking the time.
03:00
"A bath couldn't hurt..." You mumbled to yourself, walking to your bathroom and starting up the water. By the time you had gotten into the bath fifteen minutes had already passed, a towel situated on top of your pajamas which were sitting on the lid of your toilet. Your head was facing the ceiling, neck on full display. You had been staring at the ceiling for the entirety of the five minutes that you'd been in the bath. You heard footsteps and turned your head to the bathroom door, listening for the noise on the other side.
"Y/N?"
"In the bath." You said in a sing-song voice, meeting Youngbin's eyes as soon as he opened the door to the bathroom. He arched a brow as he walked inside, closing the door behind him with a gentle click, walking over and crouching down by the tub.
"Why're you in the bath this late?" He asked quietly, studying your face while gently running his fingers through your hair. You leaned into his touch with an aching heart, sighing slowly.
"I couldn't sleep and needed to think..."
"About what?"
"Oh, this and that.. Nothing important." You opened your eyes and smiled at him tiredly. He nodded after a moment of contemplation, standing up to leave. As he took hold of the doorknob he stood in the doorway, looking at you with questioning eyes.
"I'll be waiting for you. Don't take too long or you might catch a cold." You nodded with a smile as he left once more, leaning your head back as a tear trickled down your cheek.
When you finally got into bed it was 03:45 and your fingers had started wrinkling from sitting in the water too long. You turned your back to Youngbin, pulling the covers up to your chin with your knees pulled into your chest, laying in a fetal-position.
You were surprised when he slung an arm around your waist, pulling you into his chest. You had to hold back your tears. It had been weeks since he had last held you like this. It felt like it had been weeks since you had even felt his skin against yours. It was only after you took a deep breath to calm yourself that you realized he smelt of perfume.
Your heart broke but you ignored it. You'd pick up the pieces tomorrow morning.
It was a few hours later; you could tell because it was lighter outside and Youngbin was no longer holding you. You could still feel his presence however, so you guessed that he was sitting somewhere.
"Yeah, I'm sorry. I think I'll have to come a bit later today." You heard him say under his breath, loud enough for whoever he was calling to hear but not loud enough to wake you, had you been sleeping. You caught only a few words here and there that the girl on the other line said, the volume not loud enough to hear more.
"I can't come sooner. I'll just spend this one evening with her and then we'll be right back to routine." He whispered again, his fingers trailing up and down your spine, making you shiver.
"Yeah, okay. Mhm. I love you too."
You bit down on your lip, forcing yourself not to shake. Forcing yourself not to cry and not to break down. Not now, you told yourself. You wouldn't break down. He would pity you. You didn't need his pity.
A few more minutes passed as the sun started shining through the curtains. You felt the bed shift as he stood up and closed your eyes as he went to your side of the bed to pull the curtains open.
"Y/N, love? Wake up." He said as he shook you gently. You opened your eyes, trying your best to act as if you had just woken up. He smiled brightly at you, and if you hadn't heard his conversation you probably would've smiled back, oblivious to what had been happening under your nose for the past few weeks. "C'mon. I took the day off work. I wanted to spend today with you. Shall we make breakfast?" You sat up and nodded with the best fake smile you could muster, letting him pull you out of bed and into the kitchen.
You were silent as you helped him make eggs and toast, sitting on the couch and watching a drama while he finished with the eggs.
He was glaring at the eggs as he flipped them, annoyance slowly building as you continued giving him the cold shoulder, not talking to him even once. He spends time with you for the first time in weeks and you don't even utter a good morning to him?
He dishes up the food and instead of taking them to you, he puts it down on the kitchen island, storming in front of you.
"What's wrong with you? You're not even talking to me!" He shouts, grabbing the remote and switching off the TV angrily. You look up at him tiredly, your eyes tearing up as soon as you do.
"Tell me to my face—" You begin in an emotionless voice— "that you are all mine."
Tears stream down your face in hot streaks, racing to see which one can roll to the floor first.
"What... What do you mean?" He stuttered, seemingly dumbfounded into silence. You take a deep breath as you stand up from the couch and take a step towards him, cranking your neck to look him in the eyes.
"I heard your conversation, Youngbin. I should've guessed..." You scoffed, your voice slowly raising in tone, your anger at yourself starting to show. "You're spending less time at home, leaving before I wake up and coming home when I'm asleep. I should've known." He looks at you with a sort of sadness and regret in his eyes that you can't quite place and to make sure that you don't feel bad for him, refuse to acknowledge. "We never even fought, Youngbin. Not once. I was too tired to fight with you." You said, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Listen, Y/N, I was going to tell you—"
"And then what, Youngbin? Give me a heads up that you were cheating and then dump me? Leave?" You said exasperatedly, smiling sadly. His heart wrenched, staying quiet as he had nothing to say. Nothing to make this okay. Make this better.
"Send her my regards, would you? Now if you ever really loved me—" You scoffed, rolling your eyes and shaking your head— "No, if you loved me this wouldn't be happening. If you ever really cared for me, you'll leave my apartment. Send me her address and I'll mail you your things." He was about to protest but you were already pushing him out the door, locking it behind you.
Even though you had been subconsciously preparing for something like this, it didn't stop you from hurting. It hurt like hell, and you were pretty sure that you wouldn't be able to salvage the broken pieces anymore. It would be lost forever. You sat by the door, wailing into the emptiness of your apartment, letting out all of your pain, anger and frustration. He had enough things. You'd burn some of it. You'd get rid of things he gave you. You'd remove him from your memories, and then you'd forget.
You'd forget your heartache and move on.
You'd forget your heartache and heal.
You'd forget your heartache.
You'd forget him.

SF9 favorite positions for cockwarming
Pairing: sf9 x female reader
Genre: fluff-smut
Warnings: penetration
Bonus song rec: Deep Ocean, by WayV
Read under the cut
Youngbin:
You are sitting on his lap wearing your favorite oversized t-shirt and your panties are placed aside "You don't have to do anything, baby". He loves how domestic that is: the TV is on, maybe it's a reality show or a romcom. His dick is all the way inside you and he can tease your clit with his fingertips from time to time. But just by brushing over your delicate nub, a small tear of arousal pours out of you. You are supposed to enjoy quality time, after all.
Inseong:
He is very fond of staying naked for a while after you had sex. During this time he may pull you close as if he would cuddle you, your big spoon. Instead, you and he are just waiting until he has a new erection so he can push it inside you and keep it there. Your sex is still sensitive from the intercourse but he shushes you "Please, let me stay close to you".
Jaeyoon:
He likes his sweetheart on top of him on lazy mornings. It's easier to become intimate with him because he sleeps with few, if any, clothes. Climbing on his chest as he grabs your ass is natural. You ask why he is hard just to have him chuckling and immediately making himself fit into your humid hole. "Why are you wet?"
Dawon:
Sanghyuk can't stay much in the same position when he is inside you. As a result, your cockwarming sessions will be a bit chaotic with you asking him to persist a bit more. Being close to him is so delicious, his muscles feel nice against your skin. You normally get to be on top, using your weight as an instrument to keep him still. You kiss his cheeks, stroke his scalp and consequently earn plenty of "love you's" from him.
Rowoon:
Okay, you all took some time to figure that out. Yet, based on the fact that Rowoon loves getting his dick sucked (and also giving oral because of his blessed oral fixation) he enjoys having you warming his cock in your mouth. The way both you and him feel intimate in such circumstances fascinates him. You can even close your eyes and give in to the scalp massage he gives you. "Sugar, you can stop whenever you feel like".
Zuho:
His baby girl looks so pretty wearing a skirt with no panties, especially when you motion him to make room for you to sit. He smiles and straight up pulls his shorts down so there's no barrier between your sexes (he didn't have any underwear either). Juho keeps working on his songs while you smell his neck and get sleepy.
Yoo Taeyang:
Taeyang stirs more than he should when you are trying to warm his dick but you find it lovely. You often convince him to get naked and let you take care of him when he is exhausted. So you sit on his cock and kiss him lazily. You shush him with open-mouthed kisses and pin his wrists onto the mattress.
Hwiyoung:
Youngkyun places you on his lap, none of you are wearing bottoms. His thighs feel soft under you and he toys with yours, sinking his digits in your flesh here and there. His breath is so slow, so deep and soothing, it's like meditation. You feel yourself melting on top of him, moaning low at the soft stretch his unmoving thickness causes in you. "Is it too deep?" he asks. "It's perfect" you answer, pinning yourself more to his body.
Chani:
Warning: light degradation
He doesn't have a favorite position because he hates cockwarming. The maximum you get from him is making him punish you with it. I mean, he makes you hold your mouth still with his length inside while he is scrolling down on Instagram (of course he kisses you gently after he is satisfied). On another occasion, he pushes himself all the way into your pussy from behind and makes you answer a call.

Strangers | Sieun x reader
; in which Sieun values his academics over his partner.
warning: argument, breaking up, ignoring.
eva notes! : yo this kinda hit home a little.. :] enjoy
The day seemed like the usual days. Youngbin was busy messing with Sieun and you were sitting in the seat next to him. You took the chance to glance at your significant other next to you as his ears were filled with music and the tip of his pen busy on the notebook infront of him.
"Sieun, Sieun, Sieun!" You tried to whisper-shout to get his attention as he finally took off his earpieces and turned to you, his body language calm as he waited for you to continue.
"Isn't Miss Yeon returning the test papers from the weighted assessment tests the other day?" you asked him as he nodded, his eyes still as dull as when you first met him in school.
It definitely did not go unnoticed. His cold demeanour signalled that his stress levels were over the roof once again, and he definitely was not in the mood for Youngbin's shennanigans or anything happening today.
"Everyone, please return to your seats. Let's begin with checking our assessment papers," Ms Yeon began as she walked over to the podium at the front of the class with stacks of papers, marked with red ink and big numbers on the front, the total scores.
"Miss Yeon! Who got the highest score?" A voice questioned as another student scoffed loudly, "God, you're asking that as if Sieun hasn't topped the last 20 exams since we entered this school!".
Miss Yeon took a look at the stack of papers infront of her as she smiled.
"Actually, we have a new top scorer this examination, Y/N achieved the highest score for this assessment!" Miss Yeon said with a smile as a round of applause was heard.
You looked around, ears red as you'd never have expected to be the top scorer, much more against your own boyfriend.
That was until a bang was heard.
You turned to see Sieun, hands in fists as his eyes burned holes into your face. You've never seen him this angry before, even when Youngbin had thrown a sandal at him.
"Sieun, are you alright?" Miss Yeon asked as Sieun turned to her with a blank face, and responded plainly, "Yes Miss Yeon."
You ran up to catch up with your boyfriend after school as you realised he had left without you, walking to the cram school that you both entered back in your first year of high school.
"Sieun!" You shouted as you ran to reach him, but realised he had his earpieces in, causing him to not hear you. You tapped his shoulder but was met with no response as he continued walking as if you were never there, as if you never existed. You grabbed your phone from your skirt pocket and pressed on his contact on your phone.
"Sieun, are you mad? Let's talk it out?" You texted and sent the message as you followed behind him to the bus stop to the Cram School.
Even at Cram School, he blatantly ignored you as his eyes only switched between the notebook and the large blackboard at the front of the room, ignoring any signs of you trying to get his attention. You tapped his arm, tried to move his notebook, and tried to hold his hand, and still he did not respond. It was as if he changed overnight as it was. . . terrifying to say the least.
"Sieun!" You called out to him as he walked down the path from the cram school to the bus stop to go home.
You'd had enough of him ignoring you the whole day and act as if he didn't know you. This needed to stop.
"Sieun! Stop it." You stated as he stopped in his tracks and turned to look at you.
"What do you want?" He asked for the first time in the many hours you've spent together in school and cram school and all the time in between.
"You blatantly ignored me the whole day, and you have the audacity to ask me what I want? What's wrong with you? You ignored my messages, ignored me, ignored my existence, and treating me like trash. God, even trash would have to be picked up and discarded," you spoke as he stared blankly at you, as if he was, bored.
"You did this," He stated as your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Did what exactly?" You questioned as his gaze became sharp.
"You knew. You knew that this was everything I had. My studies, my grades, they're all I have. Yet, you take them away from me like you don't even know me," He spat out as your jaw dropped from the absolute audacity he had to say what he said.
"You think I chose to score higher than you? Well, sorry, mister arrogant, but I studied just as hard as you did, and you knew that. Just because I scored higher than you in one assessment, it gives you the right to treat me like garbage? You're insane," you responded as you tried to remove your gaze from the stranger in front of you.
"Let's break up." Sieun stated as your eyes widened.
"Just like that?" You questioned as he turned, not bothering to answer your question at all.
He wasn't worth it anyway, right? That's what you tried to tell yourself for the next 4 weeks as days passed by like hell. You requested Miss Yeon to change your seat, away from Yeon Sieun. You did not want to associate yourself with such a jerk, and your academics shouldn't suffer because of a piece of trash like him.
A new student joined the class, and soon, Sieun was buddies with Sooho and Beomseok. Maybe a month ago, it would hurt seeing him having company with other people other than you, but now you were strangers, nothing more.

a heart that still beats
— when in the midst of despair, do you lose all hope?
synopsis: the year is 2080. in a world destroyed by climate change, there is only one hope left for safety, and of course it is one exploited by the rich and famous—make it to the airships that are fueled by oxygen on earth. unfortunately, you are neither, but you are a skilled mechanic who is separated from your companion by yet another flood.
lonely, bitter and lost, you eventually find a purpose in being the mechanic for 10 boys that have an ambitious plan to shut off the machines that fuel the cities above the earth, being welcomed as one of their own.
but this mission is their most crucial one, one that could cost them their lives. and as you think about your leader, daeyeol, you're inspired by his courage, but very nervous for the upcoming events to transpire.
cast: gn mechanic!reader x daeyeol ft. golden child members and mentions of sf9's youngbin
genre: sci-fi, dystopian!au, end of the world!au, loosely based on golden child’s ra pam pam mv, angst with comfort if you squint
wc: 6.6k (6,674)
warnings: mentions of death, gunshots, blood, flames, pollution, lots of cursing, reader cracks maybe one dirty joke (which is only dirty if you understand it), we get pretty existential here. lmk if i missed anything
a/n: reader has habit of calling everyone older hyung as that's what they've decided they're comfortable with (just y and daeyeol here), ignore the fact that it’s y on the banner LOL this is for aesthetic purposes. there's a few perspective switches near the end, and of course i always end up making the relationship ambiguous. also why is the plot so messy.. ugh i just want to get this fic out. yes this is the second time sf9 youngbin makes a cameo in my fics. i think daeyeol said he had no same age friends and i’m like oh wait who else is a 93 liner? so yeah, enjoy, because this took way too long to do.
[d-7]
you watched and gave a small nod of approval as your rc car (which jangjun had decided to name damdadi for some reason) wheeled across the tiled floor of the hideout. bomin and sungyoon were examining the oxygen tanks, but your main focus was on your tech.
ah, good. it works. and it's quiet too.
damdadi, like your other projects, was carefully crafted, because god knows you couldn’t afford to make any mistakes with your mechanical work—not that you liked to make mistakes with anything anyways. everything you did got a quality check at least twice.
nevertheless, you were nervous about whether the oddly-named damdadi would be able to complete its task of surveillance or not and with the lives of friends on the line, you certainly had no time to lose.
to the side, you picked up yet another rc car (bomin decided he'd name that one genie) and checked if it was in working order, because as a dear friend named youngbin had reminded you long ago, “it’s best to have backup plans in case any bullshit happens.”
"and bullshit will always happen," you finished the phrase easily.
as the phrase came into your mind, you wondered what had happened to him after a flood separated the both of you about a year ago—the occurrence of natural disasters was not uncommon, but that didn't mean it was any less devastating each time one occurred.
god, you remembered it so well. he had gone on a mission to gather supplies for your camp when the flood occurred. from the wreckage, you had emerged confused, tossed around like a ship lost at sea.
then, it turned into denial that he was gone, anger at circumstances you couldn’t have controlled, and then reluctant acceptance that you couldn’t find him. it wasn't like you couldn't survive on your own, but without someone to ground you, you'd be talking into a void of nothingness. still, you didn’t know if anything could fill the even deeper void in your heart.
youngbin said once to you, “loss is inevitable. remember jaeyoon? you know i would have done anything to save him, but i can’t control the fact that the soldier shot him in the damn chest, but i tried my best, and yet the feeling of not being able to save everyone fucking hurts. losing someone you love… ah, fuck. sorry if this was depressing. but if there’s anything i’d prepare you for, it’s that."
inevitable.
that word alone carried so much weight to it.
and from then on, you reminded yourself that nothing is permanent, not even the companionship of a friend. it’s the only way you got yourself through your separation.
after the flood, you were on your own for a while, trying to find youngbin. however, an annoying little shit named jangjun found you after you stole some supplies from a soldiers’ base. apparently he had the same idea.
after this incident, he took you back to meet the other 9 members of the crew you were part of now. although initially reluctant to trust them, you found their company to be likable enough. you assumed the role you always did, finding spare parts that could be repurposed as you always used to do with youngbin.
you knew youngbin and daeyeol were two separate people, but you couldn’t help but see one in the other and think that they might get along. thinking about the two of them together made things so much harder.
thinking about those days, you sighed. you couldn't believe a trip down memory lane could randomly be triggered by one glance at an rc car, but it would be unwise to stay there for too long. of course, you allowed yourself those brief moments of distraction in your memories, and then focused on the task at hand again. it was a reasonable way to live.
yes, you did miss those you had lost, but now was definitely not the time for that.
don't get too distracted. you have work to do. you have to keep going.
despite the gravity of the situation you were in, you couldn’t help but crack a joke in your mind about being good with your fingers as you fiddled with some more machinery. some things never changed, like your less-than-appropriate humor that either got you lighthearted scolding (from sungyoon and daeyeol, and of course, youngbin) or laughs from people who liked your occasional jokes (mostly jangjun, and surprisingly bomin too).
while examining a control panel, you felt a soft tap on your shoulder, which could only possibly belong to one person out of the group you currently lived with—lee daeyeol. he spoke with a gentle tone but it had a sense of authority. “could i talk to you for a second?”
mentally, you prepared for hell because whenever he used that familiar tone, he was being nice but definitely meant business and may the gods help whoever tried to get in his way. “of course, what did you want?”
he placed folded diagrams on the table. "i just wanted to check on your progress on that rc car, although knowing how fast you work i’m guessing you’re almost done. we've finalized a plan about how to shut off the machines.”
ah yes, he was talking about the machines of project aether, or better yet, a way for those with enough money and power to save themselves and leave the poor and helpless to rot. the act of using the oxygen on earth for airships to create a "paradise in the sky" for some while damaging the atmosphere down below made you scratch your head at the backwards logic.
it was starting to get a little sweaty in the room, and you fanned yourself with an old newspaper. "things are going well, dae. this rover should be ready in a few minutes for jaehyun and jibeom to take when they need it. better early than late. you ready to do this?"
he glanced at you, and let out a deep sigh, one filled with what you interpreted to be as deliberation. "it doesn't matter how i feel. this needs to happen soon."
as the leader of the group, daeyeol was required to handle many burdens and although you and the boys were usually with him, no one could never completely understand what was going through his mind. there was a special spark that was required to lead.
sometimes, you wondered how tired he really was, but he didn't like to show that side of him, always wanting to be the helper instead of the helped.
and of course, that reminded you of youngbin, which wasn't such a great path to take your mind to. so you'd put it upon yourself to move on from him, which you had done semi-successfully.
of course, he still had a designated space in your mind, no matter how hard you tried not to think about him.
you put down what you were working on to focus on daeyeol's words, knowing it wouldn't be good for your mind to go off on more tangents today. "alright then, let's go over the plan once more. i figure you want to run through it again. i just need to hear it too."
he nodded and opened one diagram, which you recognized as it was labeled project : aether (floor plan), with a picture of the air machine itself. you remembered researching machinery for that. he pointed to the spot where it said passcode entry point.
"because of you, seungmin and donghyun, we were able to get the password that controls the fuel source of the cities. as you know, we need to enter the password at that location in order to shut the machine off. but we're unsure of the exact situation with guards and their patrol routes, so we're going to send the rovers with the camera attached in order to assess it. the last thing we need is for there to be surprises we didn’t expect.”
he probably hadn't changed any aspects to the plan, but you asked for confirmation. "it's just you going, right?"
"yes. the rest of the group looked uncomfortable with the idea and as concerning as the idea of going alone is, i can't risk anyone else's life.” his lips set in a thin line. "and there's a limited supply of oxygen tanks, anyways."
you let out a humorless chuckle, knowing just how brutal it was out there. "dae, we're clearly not as selfless as you. no one asks to potentially get shot at by assholes in hazmat suits.”
not being able to hide your true thoughts, you quietly added, “and honestly, i’m probably the most selfish of you guys.”
out of the corner of your eye, you saw him frown. "now don’t say that, you help in your own way. you've been invaluable in developing the technology for this mission. remember, nothing goes unnoticed by me."
you still did get a little flustered whenever people mentioned your skill, and you brushed his words off with the lazy swipe of a hand. "oh, i can't take all the credit for this stuff. seungmin helped me a lot." the mentioned guy was currently fiddling with the screen on the wall to make sure it actually worked.
yeah, you knew you were decent at what you did, but it's not like you wanted the spotlight for it, preferring to remain behind the scenes most of the time. to put it simply, you liked working in the shadows and only showing up when necessary to report something.
"you sell yourself short, y/n," he said with an amused grin on his face.
"do i, dae? if you want, i could just start bragging about myself all the time."
he laughed, and oh, how you took the sound in like nourishment. true laughter was hard to come across nowadays, as a lot of things were. "now let's not jump between extremes, okay?"
you made a salute as if you were on some pirate ship. “aye-aye, captain!” damdadi was still turned on, and you maneuvered it next to daeyeol, just to demonstrate the functionality, before turning the power off.
“god, imagine being pirates. we’d be the worst pirate crew ever. imagine trying to wake up bomin and get him to do anything but sleep prettily!”
daeyeol shrugged. "well, i could probably use captain privileges to boss him around, anyways."
"as if! he listens to no one, especially you."
the two of you grinned, sharing a moment. there were times when you forgot that the air was polluted, the rich were assholes and food was hard to find—now was one of those times. it was nice to not think about that for a bit. you were aware however, that the cold reality waited around the corner like a gunman waiting to fire.
you rested your head on his shoulder, an action you had grown more comfortable with gradually after he told you it was okay to do it. it seemed to say a message without words, i don’t know what the future holds, but at least i’m here with you.
daeyeol closed his eyes and spoke his next sentence quietly. “hey, i know i told you guys i’d be prepared for anything and we're aware of how this might end. it might go badly. if i’m honest, it’s been very nerve-wracking to prepare for this. i just wanted to say that i will protect you guys. whatever it takes. i think we have a chance to end this once and for all.”
won't you protect yourself? won't you be selfish too for once? that's all i need. you thought, but didn't say aloud.
you, who never thought you'd shed a tear since getting separated from youngbin, who didn't like getting very sentimental in front of others, embraced daeyeol. "hyung, sometimes i wonder how people like you can exist, so full of hope and all that optimistic stuff. shit, i promise i don't mean it in a bad way, but...” you trailed off.
"it's hard to have hope, right?"
"you could say that."
from the moment you had met him, he had struck you as someone who wouldn’t give up. all of the group did, but especially him. to keep fighting, one had to think that things would get better someday. one needed hope.
he rested one hand on your shoulder, as if he were transferring his wisdom over to you merely by touch. “until the moment i die, i won’t stop having it. it’s the only way we’ll be able to keep pushing through. call me optimistic, but if there seems to be no hope, we have to create it for ourselves. i don't want live hopelessly knowing that i could have tried to make a better future."
you played with a screw in your jacket pocket. "hope's short in supply sometimes, i admit.”
“it is. but all you need is a bit of it to survive.”
you felt your chest rise and fall, acutely aware of your breath. if you really thought about it, it was dangerous to risk it all on one mission, a singular chance to get this right before the soldiers could wipe you all out.
but you thought of the boys you had come to know over months of time, and everything became clearer.
joochan deserved a chance to sing in air that was truly clean. donghyun would get to dance outside without fear of being shot. jibeom and jaehyun could simply mess around with the rc cars you and seungmin made instead of just sending them out into the dangerous world outside their base. most of all, daeyeol would be able to breathe easily (quite literally and metaphorically), after the mission was over.
and of course, you wanted to take that first breath of air with each and every one of them.
hope brought a world of possibilities to think about, so close and yet so far away. it would fuel you, so long as you believed it still existed—and although you didn't really consider yourself as much of an idealist as daeyeol, you needed to be, especially now.
you brought up your hands to your head, which happened to hurt a little, and his voice brought you back to the present.
“hey, y/n, you seem like you’re lost in thought. all good?”
as expected, he can tell what goes on with you.
“just thinking about our upcoming mission. can't help but stay awake...”
he frowned. “it's late, take a rest too. i can't let everyone else in the team deprive themselves of sleep. don't overwork yourself, y/n.”
and before you had known it, he left and came back with a bit of water he had saved. water was difficult to come across but the group was fortunate to have some, so you savored every drop you got to taste. “thank you, daeyeol.”
“always.”
although you continued working, you knew these coming days would be difficult, and later you finally decided to take daeyeol’s advice, eventually letting yourself slip into a dreamlike state on the smooth metal beds.
(you wouldn't have known anyways, but daeyeol glanced at you several times while you were asleep.
you'd be alright, he knew. still, it was nice for him to make sure. he smiled, and got back to work.)
[d-3]
the main room, with all 11 of the crew, wasn’t outwardly panicking, but it contained a nervous energy that simmered and quietly stirred everyone's feelings of anxiety. the crew always worked hard, but this particular week needed everyone's dedication, whether it was finding spare parts, to looking over diagrams, to last minute research.
despite these demands, you were impressed with everyone's resilience.
youngtaek shrugged his shoulders in an attempt to relieve tension. he turned on the medium-sized screen that was inside the hideout, which currently was connected to a phone you and seungmin had built together. "the camera works fine, i see the footage from it showing up.”
you sighed in relief. it was good to know that something worked.
"ow, my feet," jibeom interjected, as damdadi rolled over them.
"alright, thanks youngtaek!" jaehyun grabbed the phone from him and affixed it onto damdadi. he then gestured to jibeom. “come on, let’s go send the rc car to survey the terrain, before y/n does that annoying thing where they yell at us for using their tech all wrong.”
“okay well, you can't just use damdadi to run over jibeom's feet, we got a mission!” you yelled from across the room, where you were working on a drone.
jaehyun smiled innocently at you. "yeah, well it'll be fine and we'll get it done. i think we're very capable. or at least, i am—"
"hey, take that back!" jibeom glared at jaehyun. “i hate you."
the two continued to bicker like children. "okay. jibeom, just so you know, if the guards come and you run too slow, i will be leaving your ass behind!"
these two argue so much, it's almost as if i'm watching a tv sitcom.
"just go already, guys," you said, amused by their antics. "and don't die, of course."
“have a little faith,” jibeom whined. jaehyun laughed at him again, and with the turn of a knob, damdadi rolled to the door with them.
after they left, you went to talk to daeyeol, showing him a few of the drones you had made with seungmin. “i was thinking that i can use these to divert the soldiers' attention so that they're less likely to shoot at you. couldn't hurt, right?”
"hm, good idea, just make sure your drones take a different route to the location. you thought of me that much?" he added, lightly teasing you.
your cheeks warmed slightly, but you kept your face impassive. "well, precautions are necessary, are they not?"
he was serious, but you could sense a bit of amusement coming from him. "they are. you always think ahead, don't you?" and with that, he approved of your addition to the plan.
you let out a sigh of partial relief, and continued to test out another drone.
"just say you love him or something, because even i can tell." seungmin, who had been working next to you muttered this after daeyeol left to wake up bomin. he screwed in another bolt. "you might as well remind him before...."
he doesn't finish the sentence, but he didn't need to. the two of you looked at each other in understanding. survival was never guaranteed in a world as wrecked as this one. he looked away for a second and closed his eyes briefly before continuing to talk.
"never mind. anyways, let's just keep working—we're making good progress. after this, we'll have 4 drones to use. it’s always useful to have something that flies, i suppose."
you obliged, figuring it would be better to shut up and just continue doing what you were always good at—attempting to ignore anything not related to your job. but seungmin's words still lingered and you would do anything to get them out.
later, seeing a frightened jibeom and a tired jaehyun return with news that a soldier had captured the rc car was enough to make you quietly simmer with rage (it was precious technology, after all), but you were almost thankful for the feeling.
at least you still felt something.
[d-day]
this was going to be rather interesting.
lee daeyeol was not supposed to be scared—or at least, he was not supposed to show it. in fact, he was the one whom people looked to for comfort, strength, guidance, and sacrifice (even if no one would say it aloud). if he looked scared, it would set the tone for this mission. who would believe in them? in their cause?
so he shouldered his burden of shutting off the machines of project: aether with calm determination, trying to steady himself despite his accelerating heart rate and the vague feeling of the world swaying beneath his feet. “i’m going out the route we discussed. send the drones out a different exit and wait for the radio signal from me to go up. if something unexpected happens, only one of you should check first."
"got it. stay safe, hyung." sungyoon checked daeyeol's oxygen's tank one last time, sighing to himself.
daeyeol looked to you, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "do you have the ring?"
you wordlessly got up to grab daeyeol's ring from the table, and watched as he slipped it on carefully. the piece of jewelry was special for him, as it was a gift from a childhood friend he had kept for his whole life.
to him, it signified many things, but he could never deny the fact seeing the ring gave him hope.
your voice was soft yet full of conviction as you gave him words of reassurance. "stay strong. we'll be waiting. but even if you don't return, i want to thank you, for everything. i love you, in every sense of the word."
daeyeol closed his eyes. you weren't usually the sentimental type.
it was times like this where he found it hard to walk away. if he let his heart take over, he would stay safe with you against the harsh reality of the world. but he knew that first, he had to carry out his plan.
he extended his arms towards you, pulling you into a tight hug. "you as well, y/n. remember, i'll be with you, always."
he double-checked the levels in his oxygen tank, affirming that they were alright. now, it really was time to go.
"if you don't stay safe, hyung, i'll kick your ass all the way to the sky," jangjun yelled.
"got it," he said, a small grin on his face. of course jangjun would be the one to joke around.
and with that, he turned away, walking towards the entrance of your hideout with conviction. the doors opened, and he stepped out, leaving behind the people he loved most. it would be painful for him to turn around now, and so he chose not to.
at least, if he thought of his team, full of people he wanted to give the world to, he had something tangible to fight for.
as daeyeol left, the 10 of you stared at the door and no one dared say a thing, for fear of it being wrong, but a distinct sigh came from bomin, who could not hide his frustration as the youngest. that's when you knew it was time to do your part, just as daeyeol would do his.
slightly trembling, you got into position and used the camera on the one of the drones to help examine its surroundings and navigate it through the twists and turns of the hide out.
sungyoon, much to everyone’s surprise, stood up a minute later. “i'm not letting him do this alone. lee daeyeol, i swear if you go alone at this point.."
"take care, hyung," bomin said.
he nodded in response.
you buried your head in your hands. it's not like you needed his life at risk too. but sungyoon could be rather stubborn at times, and you weren't trying to argue with him at a time like this.
besides, it's not like he couldn't handle himself out there.
he went to grab an oxygen tank, put its heavy weight on his back, and exited the hideout. but with his running skills, the team knew he would catch up to daeyeol soon enough.
outside, the chemicals in the air gave the impression that everything was a fatal orange, the orange that burned from that pillar of fire daeyeol saw in the distance. it seemed like it would burn straight to his soul and consume him.
but daeyeol found he could run faster than even he anticipated, fueled by a fire of his own.
above the flames, the floating paradise of the rich taunted him, as if they were situated in the heavens and looking down upon people like him, those who couldn't make it up there with what they had in their pockets.
those who were left to perish amongst the ashes.
daeyeol kept going.
unbeknownst to him, sungyoon was making his way over, navigating past abandoned trailers and trying not to alert the presence of any guards—he was quite aware of their patrol routes now.
after a few minutes, he found daeyeol, whispering, “hyung. i’m here."
the older boy looked over in surprise. "now that i think about it, i'm not surprised."
sungyoon's presence had revitalized him completely, a blessing that he wasn't to take lightly. daeyeol gave sungyoon a nod of acknowledgment, and they headed for the passcode entry point together.
as they did, a group of 3 soldiers ran across an elevated ledge.
"we gotta go!" dayeol exclaimed, pointing upwards. they sprinted towards the tower that felt so close, and yet, was still feet away.
a bullet punctured sungyoon's oxygen tank, and the hiss of air leaking out could be heard.
shit, daeyeol thought. he needed to do something, and quick.
they took cover some medium-sized storage crates as he removed his oxygen mask and put it over sungyoon's face, transferring the tank as well.
then, covering his mouth, he ran as fast as he could towards the tower. only a few feet away the tower, the soldiers shot him in the back. and yet he ran, bleeding through his denim jacket.
he inputted the correct code into the security screen.
3-2-6-4.
as sungyoon rushed over to him, daeyeol pushed the lever to shut off the tower off with all of his remaining strength. the pillar of fire emerging from the tower's base shut off, and the smoke in the area began to dissipate.
"you really did it, hyung." sungyoon said, looking around in awe. he sat beside daeyeol. the older boy smiled back.
i can rest, at least sungyoon is fine. no one else had to suffer.
he blinked several times to try and stay awake as sungyoon took off his vest, pressing lightly against one of daeyeol's wounds.
a few minutes earlier...
back at the base, your body felt frozen, except for your fingers, which were the only thing moving. it was quite difficult to steer a drone with the intense weather conditions outside and turmoil within you. but this was your responsibility, and you had to carry it out to the end.
"maybe a little higher," you muttered to yourself as the drone continued to fly. there was a smaller phone next to you, which allowed you to see out of the tiny camera on the drone. seungmin, tag and bomin had drones too.
“i see guards.” seungmin said sharply. “oh wait, i think daeyeol and sungyoon are in the distance too.”
jangjun spoke up. "okay, i'm going up to the warehouse building. i just need to safely observe what's happening outside in case your drones go down."
"someone, hand him a radio! i only have mine." seungmin yelled. "and remember, keep yourself hidden."
donghyun gave the remote to jangjun, who thanked him and left the base quickly.
amidst the chaos, you continued to maneuver the drone, trying to stay in control. the guards appeared to aim their guns in the general direction of the tower, which was where daeyeol and sungyoon were headed to.
you knew the guards were mostly there to prevent people like you guys from shutting off all the technology rich people had paid for. disgusting and vile.
“ah, shit, gotta steer away from there,” you muttered, your hand grasping the right controller stick. the drone flew slightly off to the side, and from what you could make out, the direction some of the guns were firing in changed.
oh god. there's a ton of soldiers. damn.
in all honesty, what happened next was chaos. a few of the screens lost connection. on a screen that was still intact, you saw blood, or at least, you thought you did.
the world blurred around you, but then came into focus again, but you knew that you couldn't collapse, not now. thankfully, your bottle had some water left.
"something's wrong," you say, fidgeting with your hands.
"of course something is wrong!" seungmin said, groaning. "what the hell is happening?"
youngtaek observed the surrounding area through his drone, but soon he had to find somewhere to land it, making sure it was well out of view before doing so.
he groaned shortly after. "great, the camera on the drone is almost dead. but from what i was able to see outside, i can tell someone shot sungyoon and daeyeol as they were headed over. i don't think they'll be coming back soon," he remarked. "so, maybe three to five of us should go out and help. we'll need to treat any wounds."
"do we even have enough medical supplies for this?" you asked, your mind racing. you began to sort through the stuff in the emergency backpack, making sure you could pack as much as possible.
shit. are daeyeol and sungyoon going to die? damn it, those two—
your thoughts were interrupted because over the radio, jangjun’s voice resounded, loud, clear and... somewhat excited? “come. look outside. i can't fucking believe it! we’ll finally be able to breathe the fucking air! you gotta see for yourselves! oh my god... is this real?”
his voice got faint, so you assumed he was busy staring at the sky, and how could you blame him?
everyone looked at each other with shock and disbelief. it's been a while since you've stared out the windows of the warehouse, but whenever you did, it was always the same—a sea of orange and the menacing presence of security drones. seeing something different would be a relief, a sign that daeyeol had gotten the job done after all.
still, you didn't want to be get too excited.
seungmin spoke into the radio. "alright, be there soon, hyung, but we have to go check on daeyeol and sungyoon afterwards. by the way, stop cursing so much, you potty-mouth.”
you heard a crackling sound before he responded, “fuck no.”
ha, he certainly is something.
afterwards, you took the radio, greeting jangjun with a laugh.
"hey, jangjun! is the air really as clear as you say it is?" you said, rolling your eyes. "you get fired up so easily and exaggerate. how do we tell you're not just messing with us?"
jangjun sighed once, one of those sassy why-don't-you-listen-because-i'm-right type of sighs. "just look at the damn sky before you come out, okay? i took off my mask and it felt okay, but don't take my word for it. bring the surgical masks if you're really worried."
you shrugged. "we'll be there. but let's be careful."
then, talking to the rest of the team, you said, "help me grab medical supplies and weapons. once we meet jangjun and get outside, we have to make sure there are no soldiers or drones."
"alright, i'll go ahead with jaehyun to go check on daeyeol and sungyoon and give them necessary medical attention," youngtaek said.
you found a pistol and picked it up. "got it."
"found the surgical masks!" jaehyun exclaimed.
everyone headed out, feeling mixed emotions of fear and anticipation. bomin was by your side. “y/n, will it be okay?”
to be honest, you weren’t the greatest at comforting people, but you tried your best. he was the youngest, and although you knew he was an adult and could handle himself, you still had a bit of a parental instinct.
“i don’t know. i trust that they did their job. we can have a bit of hope, can’t we?”
“yeah. i guess we can.” his breathing became steadier, and you were grateful.
soon enough, you were ascending the steps of what used to be functional escalators. light shone through the tinted glass ceiling, so oddly colored and dirtied that it was difficult to tell what life was like on the outside.
jangjun was leaning against a column, his gaze turned towards a sky that was finally more blue than orange for the first time, devoid of the flame tower in the air that everyone had grown so accustomed to.
you walked beside him, quietly waiting for him to acknowledge your presence. while continuing to stare, he shook his head rapidly, as if trying to wake up from a dream. "i still can't believe it. damn. it seemed like yesterday that there were drones swarming outside the window."
you laughed. "believe what? that we're alive? that this stupid machine is off? that the sky is blue?"
"all of it."
it was rare to see jangjun's contemplative side, but it was certainly present right now. you weren't sure that you believed it either. maybe you dreamt this entire incident up too. unless anyone said otherwise, though, this was real.
you shrugged. "well, there's been crazier things in this world."
"you're damn right about that."
the crew talked quietly amongst themselves, not wanting to ruin the atmosphere that was established by the strange stillness outside the window.
"i think we should go out now." seungmin said to the group, still in a state of shock.
everyone walked out towards an outside balcony where people probably used to hang out long before you were alive. apparently there was a time when the outside air wasn't so dangerous.
as you stepped out of the building, you found a place to stand. after a few minutes, you felt comfortable removing your mask.
you took a breath in, slowly. then, you exhaled. surprised at how easy and yet difficult it was, you repeated the action. it wasn't perfect air—the atmosphere would probably never return to 100% normal—but it was certainly something.
you tried to spot the telltale red lights of enemy drones, but you couldn't find any, to your shock.
there'd be no point in sending them anyways, you surmised. the job's been done.
of course, your heart felt conflicted with the absence of sungyoon and daeyeol, especially the latter. you'd need to check on them soon, just to see how they were doing in person.
you leaned against a white ledge, alone with your thoughts for just a second.
it'll be okay. surely, they'll be okay, you thought, trying to be optimistic.
and yet, there was still a part of you that wondered if you would find their lifeless bodies. but even that would be better than not finding them at all.
that's highely unlikely, of course you'll find them.
you looked at joochan, who had found a place beside you. he was humming softly. the two of you weren't as close (hey, it was hard to get to know the ten others in your crew equally), but you knew he loved music and saw it as his life. through song, you felt as though you understood whatever emotions he wanted to convey.
"wow, i think i'm dreaming," he says, his words riding softly on the breeze. "i never really understood why people sang songs about blue skies until now."
you laughed, despite yourself. "you're not the first to think that we're dreaming. maybe we'll wake up in a few minutes. but for now, this is our reality."
you heard youngtaek's voice over the walkie talkie in your hand. "daeyeol was shot in the back, so he's our priority right now. sungyoon's not in critical condition, but he does have a few bruises and needs to rest as well. make sure you secure the area you're in—we'll let you know when we're done here."
conversation broke out amongst the group.
"why did he do this by himself again?"
"i can't believe it..."
"hyung, you really are crazy for doing this."
meanwhile, you tried to process the news yourself. you weren't doubtful of youngtaek and jaehyun's medical capabilities, but after hearing about this, you knew that it would take a while for him to heal.
you told the group that you were going to go check how sungyoon and daeyeol were faring while they finished scanning the area.
after crossing between a maze of storage crates and covering a long stretch of flat land, you finally made it to the base of the tall tower.
despite all of the hardships you had been through, the sight of the tower without a flame made you smile, even if just for a second.
you spotted daeyeol sitting on the stone floor, his back against the control panel and sungyoon beside him. jaehyun and youngtaek were busy giving them medical treatment. they were obscured on two sides by large crates, which was good.
you were glad sungyoon and daeyeol had survived, but you couldn’t stand to see them in pain, especially your leader.
it only made you feel like you had failed as a companion in protecting him.
first, you talked to sungyoon, who seemed to have a few bruises and was panting heavily, but otherwise, seemed to be alright. he stood up
"i'm glad the two of you weren't alone," you said to him.
sungyoon nods. "he says he can do things alone, and although it's probably true, i wanted to be by his side."
you think of youngbin, and how you lost him. the feeling of deep loyalty isn't unfamiilar to you.
"i... understand."
you wish you were still by youngbin's side.
"here's some water," jaehyun said to sungyoon. luckily, he was able to drink on his own.
next, you looked over at daeyeol, whose eyes were set in a solemn gaze.
on closer inspection, you examined blood trickling from several places in his body. you hated seeing him like this, wanting to give him whatever strength you had.
you approached him slowly, not wanting to overwhelm him. “hi, daeyeol. how are you holding up?”
his response came in slow, short sentences. “i'm fine, for now. need… water. it’s good... to see you, y/n.”
you pulled an extra bottle of water out of your bag and slowly poured it in his mouth. you weren't the medical authority amongst your team, but you knew it wouldn't be good if he was required to move, considering the fact that he had been shot.
“it's good to see you too.” you laid a hand on his shoulder and continued speaking softly. you wanted to envelop him in a bone-crushing hug, but you were sure there'd be time for that when he was fully healed.
when, not if, right?
“i know you're probably thinking about the next step in all this, but.." you hesitated. "let us take care of you a while longer. you've already done so much for us."
he laughed, the sound strained. "i won't do anything drastic, don't worry."
you sat down in front of him, fingertips inches away from his. suddenly, you were a little tired as well. "please, let me know if there's anything that you need.
daeyeol took your hand. "you're here... for me, that's enough."
the golden ring on his hand glimmered in the sunlight. he said it reminded him of many things—your team, as his duty as a leader, the memories you've all shared.
you had always been more of a realist. youngbin was too, accepting that things were the way they were, and taught you that there wasn't much you could do except try to survive another day and solve things practically.
but daeyeol taught you something too, that hope was something that could be cultivated, even in the face of struggle. you took a glance at your friends, feeling a weight lift off of your shoulders.
no, problems weren't going to magically disappear. wounds took time to heal. work still needed to be done. you could lose it all at any moment. it was scary, to not know what came after this moment.
but as long as you had a heartbeat, as long as you were alive, you could have hope, even if it was faint.
"yes," you said, gazing at the endless sky above you. "it's enough."

To What Could Have Been
Wen Junhui x afab!reader
Warnings: Angst, sad, one-sided love,
Summary: Jun stands on the sidelines, dreaming of what could have been, as he watches the love of his life falling in love with someone else. So, to get over her. He writes a song.
Please reblog!
Requests open! For all groups, including SVT
Jun’s POV
(Y/n) is the prettiest girl in the world, at least in my eyes. No one shines like her. She’s like the sun. Her pretty (e/c) eyes, her soft hair, her smooth skin. I’ve known her for a couple of years, and we quickly became good friends. But I have since day three of knowing her, wished we would be more than just friends. I fell in love with her quickly, how could I not? She’s amazing, so kind, and cute. I know I sometimes act like a child, especially when I’m around my big group of guy friends. We have a tendency to act like 5-year-olds, but she just laughs and calls me cute, she even joins in most times. She usually smiles so brightly during those times and when the nights become late and the weather becomes cold, she always cozied up to me for warmth and love. Having her close to me is like a dream.
One of my absolute favorite memories with her was a late October night, we were having a movie night when suddenly (Y/n) said that we should go out on the balcony. Like a puppy I just followed her outside, whatever she wanted, I would always give her what she wants. Call me a simp, but what can I say? I love her too much. As we stood out there, on the balcony, we looked up at the sky that was filled with stars. “Look Jun, there is Scorpio, oh and-” I stopped watching the sky and looked back at the girl beside me. The way her eyes were sparkling with excitement and happiness. I also noticed how she was just dressed in a t-shirt, her body was slightly shaking from the cold, without hesitation I pulled off my sweatshirt and nudged her arm. “Hey, it’s cold. Put this on, you’ll catch a cold otherwise, you know you catch those easily,” She took the shirt from me and put it on. “Thank you, Junie, come here, you’ll be cold too,” And so she pulled me closer so I ended up standing behind her, with my arms wrapped around her waist, and there we stood for 15 minutes. Even though I was freezing cold by then, it was worth it.
For the last two years, I have been trying to find the courage to tell her I like or love her. But I was too late.
* A few weeks ago *
The entire morning had been thinking of how I should confess to (Y/n). I know her favorite flower is (flower), so I could buy a bouquet of those and give them to her or I could buy her that plant that she’s been talking about for ages but never seems to actually buy. She’d definitely prefer the plant, as it will last way longer than a bouquet, but I bet I’ll end up taking care of it either way because she’ll forget about it sometimes. I couldn’t help but smile at the thought.
Suddenly, my phone rang. I picked it up and found (Y/n)’s contact picture staring back at me. “Hey there cutie,” “Hey, Jun! I have some really exciting news, sit down,” I sat down on my couch, “Okay, I’m sitting,” “Okay, I’M GOING ON A DATE!!!” I was shocked, so shocked I almost dropped my phone. “What? - erhm, What?!?” Without thinking I first said ‘what’ with a disappointed tone, but quickly cleared my throat before saying it again with fake excitement. “I know, isn’t it crazy?” “Yeah, um. Who are you going with?” “Oh, I’m going with Kim Youngbin,” “he’s a dancer and a rapper right?” “Yes! He’s so handsome and so nice, we’re gonna go to a café and then maybe to a karaoke place,” My heart dropped, I couldn’t smile, I was seconds away from crying. “That sounds nice, I’m sure it will be fun. I have to go, Minghao is knocking on the door, we have some work to do,” “Oh, okay. Say hi to Hao from me, byeeee. Love you!” “I love you too,” And so we hung up the call. If only (Y/n) knew just how much I meant it when I said that I loved her. I laid down the phone on the coffee table before I let the tears run down my face.
And that was it. One date turned into five, into fifteen, into them becoming official. I was too late. Too caught up in dreaming about what could have been. Seeing (Y/n) with Youngbin was hard because I couldn’t help but wish she was with me. I couldn’t be too mad with Youngbin though, he treated (Y/n) like a princess, just like she deserves, but I knew I could have treated her better.
* Back to the present *
A few weeks have passed now and it still hurts just as much seeing her in the arms of someone else. But I didn’t distance myself like anyone else probably would, I couldn’t do that to her, she would be too hurt and I can’t hurt her. During these weeks, Woozi helped me compose my first solo song. I have done a couple of projects with my friends previously but never anything by myself, just me. I wrote about my heartbreak, about what I wish (Y/n) and I could have been, while still trying to keep a happy tone. This was my love letter, the ending to these feelings and these daydreams. Once I release this song, I’ll start working on getting over (Y/n).
* The day the song is released *
“WOW JUN! I can’t believe that you’re releasing your first solo!” (Y/n) was jumping around with her usual big and bright smile, so excited for me, her best friend. I took one last glance at her while thinking how it would have felt to kiss her. This is the last time, this is the end. “Yes! JUN, let’s go! Show us this masterpiece!” I stood up and cleared my throat, looking at all my close friends, and Youngbin, “Thank you all for being here to celebrate my first solo project. I also want to give a special thanks to Woozi who helped me compose and produce the song. Now, for the first time ever… Let’s listen to my song! Cheers!” And so we all raised our glasses in the air while shouting with excitement. And so, I clicked play on the track letting everyone listen to the song.
“But this is the end. Our last day. These thoughts shall be no more, I know I have to let go. I’ll give one last cheer, one last time, so here we go. Here’s, To what could have been,”
(This is, to my knowledge, not a real song. Any resemblance to any existing song is purely coincidental,)
I think all the boys, even Youngbin, knew who the song was about but if (Y/n) figured it out she didn’t let it show. She simply, gave me a hug while blabbering on about how good the song is. But then she let go of the hug and walked back to Youngbin, giving him a hug and a kiss. I pushed away the feelings of regret and jealousy and instead tried to think of how good they looked together. Minghao came up to me, “Hey, it’s okay. You did the right thing, you’ll find someone else. And you will always be her best friend,” “I know. Thanks, Hao. I’ll try to move on,” And so he gave me a pat on the back with an encouraging smile. Yeah, this is the end. The last day. I walked to the kitchen, filling up my glass once again, cheering to myself. To what could have been.

Hi I see your request are open, may I request smut #3 and #35 with Youngbin sf9. I’m missing him so much. Please and thank you 😊 have a nice day!
Hope you're having a nice day too, anon! ♡
Youngbin (SF9) | Caught masturbating + “Show me how much you missed me.” smut | 0.6k | gn!reader
The water beats down on his body, steam filling the bathroom as it rises from his body. He doesn’t feel it, doesn’t hear it, but he feels himself getting dizzy, his mind is fogging up just like the mirror. All he can think of is you, you, you… How he wishes you’d be here. It’s not long now until you come home but he can’t wait.
His fist doesn’t feel as good as your pussy or your mouth, hell, it doesn’t even feel as nice and smooth as your hands. It’s all he has though, and even though he feels pathetic, he needs the release.
It feels like he’s too pent up from all the time he spent away from you and he can’t get enough. It was already hard before, but now? He has to get himself off before you get home or he’ll drag you to bed (if you make it that far) the second you close the door. Sure, maybe you’d enjoy that on some days, but you deserve better. He can make love to you after you tell him about your day. Only he has to fuck his fist or he won’t last that long, surrounded by your warmth and you precious loving gaze on him.
If he spared enough mental capacity to listen, he might have noticed the sound of the front door unlocking, opening and closing. Or he’d hear the bedroom door. Or, eventually the bathroom door. Instead he only hears the glass shower door closing after he’s brought from his focused trance by cold hands wrapping around his hips and his own shriek.
“It’s just me baby,” you chuckle, allowing him to turn to face you. His face is flushed - from the steam, the scare, the embarrassment, who knows. His breathing is heavy and you watch him struggle with what to settle on. It’s quite amusing, but more than that - hot. “Couldn’t wait for me to get home?”
You watch his adam’s apple bob and his chest heave. Seems like he chose embarrassment in the end as his eyes avoid yours.
“I… Sorry,” he says sheepishly, laughing softly at your fingers tickling his skin. He wishes he wasn’t as turned on by you joining him in the shower, but apparently not even being scared to death will help.
“Sorry for what? This was a nice surprise,” you purr - if only you knew, he thinks - “But I’m here now. All yours.”
He swears his heart skips a beat and his breath gets stuck in his throat. He licks his lips. Gently he guides you from under the water to kiss you, slowly, taking his time calming his racing heart. With little results, of course, when there’s only one thing he’s thinking of.
“What would you like? What’s allowed?” he separates from you for just enough time to get the words out. A few more moments of his lips on yours might help you decide anyway.
“Anything,” you smirk, “You always seem so pent up lately. Use me. Do whatever you want.”
Did he ever tell you you’re a dream come true?
He groans as he backs you up against the door, holding you as it opens so you don’t slip. It’s his time to smirk at the bewildered look on your face.
“Changed your mind? There’s more ways I can use you outside the shower,” he pecks your nose, stopping for a second to get your consent.
“I meant it,” you bite your lips, “Show me how much you missed me.”
And he’s gonna do just that.

Period.
~Pairing: Chani x reader (with a uterus {no gender specified tho, I don't know if it worked but I tried my best!})
~Genre: fluff
~Warnings: food and period-related things
~Words: 630
~Summary: You deal with your period in the most nonchalant way possible. So much so that Chani never noticed you at that time of the month.
a/n: Hello! Found this Draft from 2021 and decided to finally finish it. I hope You guys like this one!
Here's a Scenario game! in case anyone is interested in asking for a prompt ~Foxy🦊
~Masterlist~
Chani kept side-eyeing Youngbin’s girlfriend as she kept grunting. 1/3 worried and 2/3 annoyed he asked
“Are you ok?”
“Yeah” was her short and direct answer, not even bothering to look at him
He shrugged and went back to scrolling through Instagram when Youngbin busted through the door and presented his girlfriend with a bag
“I got you chocolate and ice cream. Plus your pads and some painkillers” he said while kissing her forehead
She only then opened a bright smile and hugged her boyfriend repeatedly saying thank you. She then got up and ran to the toilet
“What’s up with her?” Chani mumbled
Youngbin with his sharp hearing answered that she was on her period
Chani stopped and started to think back to the last time you, his s/o was on your period but he couldn’t recall a single moment. Of course, his thinking face didn't go unnoticed by Youngbin and his girlfriend who just returned from the toilet.
"Don't you do anything to y/n? You should spoil them ” Bin's Gf questioned Chani
"I… I've never witnessed their period…" he asked
"Haven't you guys been together for 6 months now…? How have you not witnessed it yet…" Youngbin began to wonder, making Chani shrug
"How would I know that they're on their period?” Chani asked the two older
"Well, they could have cramps, mood changes, go to the toilet a lot, cravings… It really changes from person to person”
Thinking about the symptoms, Chani could't remember a single time he witnessed one of those. Oh well, he should ask you about it.
You actually act nonchalantly about your period. Cramps? Take some meds. Mood changes? Yours are not that noticeable and you're a good actor/actress. Cravings? Use that delivery app. You could say you're pretty independent and that's why your period passes unnoticed by your boyfriend. You never felt the need to call him to do anything for you when that time of the month comes after all, way too many years passed with you dealing with it on your own
A month passed and Chani kept on trying to find any signs that you were on your period. When he thought he finally figured it out because you've been upset for a whole week, you simply vented.
"My boss is being a real pain in the ass this week. Everybody agrees that the project needs more time to fully develop and improve but he doesn't care! He just wants us to finish it quickly to brag to his superior! That selfish bastard… ”
One day, Chani walks into your apartment to you angrily sipping water
"What… What happened?”
"I just wanted a mocha frappuccino but I can't drink caffeine OR milk right now. That's annoying” You said now pouting at him
"And why is that?” he asked sitting next to you and putting his arm over your shoulders
"I'm on my period. That usually worsens my cramps” You mentioned and went back to drinking your water
oh? I guess that's his cue to confront you about it
"You know, I've been talking to Youngbin and his girlfriend, and they kind of judged me for not spoiling you when you're on your period. Does that make you upset? That I didn't notice it before?” He said cautiously but honestly
"Oh… Not really, I guess I'm just used to dealing with it on my own. Some cuddles when I have cramps would be nice tho” You responded a bit surprised. You weren't expecting Chani to spoil you since throughout your relationship it wasn't really something that occurred a lot, it was just how you both were, but his willingness to change touched your heart.
"How about cuddles to chase this bad mood away? I guess you can't have that frappuccino now but you can have some cuddles… And your favorite takeout. How about that”
"That sounds wonderful baby, thank you” You pecked Chani on the lips

i dont know if this counts as one headcannon au (maybe it’s a scenario, if it is then you can just do one member!) but can you explain(?) how the sf9 members have seggs in the dorm? (like the timing and where the other members are and how it is, etc)
Okay so I know that Rowoon and Juho live alone, separately. Inseong & Dawon live in one dorm with another person, manager I think. Youngbin + Jaeyoon + roommate in one room, Taeyang + Hwiyoung + roommate in another and Chani has his own room I think in the other new dorm.
Absolutely chill. Doesn't mind being walked on cause he's too horny and you're just too hot 😏. Also lowkey is ready to invite another person if you're up for it.
Rowoon, Zuho, Dawon
Kinda shy shy to have sex with other people in the same house but if he's in the mood nothing can stop him. Will scream and throw things if someone walks in lol.
Jaeyoon, Hwiyoung
Does not at all like the idea of having sex at his place but is down to have sex at yours cause for some reason that's less embarassing? Lol.
Youngbin, Yoo Taeyang
Nope, never, too shy to have sex in the dorms but will book a room in a fancy hotel every weekend to spend time with you aka fuck you till you physically canNOT move anymore
Chani, Inseong

It didn't take long until you were leaning with your palm pressed against your forehead, staring at the bottom of your glass in a daze.
You had been sitting on the same barstool for little over two hours now, wallowing in self pity. You had heard that Inseong had moved on a lot faster than you had and that he was already dating again. You had seen him around campus a few times, but anytime you saw even just a hint of him you bolted out of the immediate area, going far, far away.
You had made eye contact with him only once since the break-up: the day after, in the cafeteria, when you saw him smiling and flirting with a girl from your class. He had turned around and immediately met your eyes. It took exactly .1 seconds for you to burst into tears, rushing out of the cafeteria to avoid embarrassing yourself further.
The whole of your grade and the grade above knew that you had been dating Inseong and that meant that they knew you had broken up... More like you had been dumped, but asked for specifics, right?
You scoffed as you poured another round of soju, smacking away Youngbin's hand when he tried to get the bottle away from you.
"You've had enough to drink—"
"I've had enough to drink when I've said I've had enough to drink," you warned your friend in a low voice, glaring at him. Youngbin looked at you worriedly, sighing while running a hand through his hair. "Just… Go have some fun, Youngie. I'll be fine," you assured him in a softer, gentler tone.
Youngbin bit his lip in thought. "Promise you'll stay here so that I can take you home later?"
You nodded with a drunken smile, holding out your pinky finger. “Promise."
You giggled stupidly when the two of you connected your thumbs together in a signature 'stamp' move. Youngbin then left you to sulk on your own. Good. He deserves to have some fun.
In your drunken state, you couldn't notice the way Inseong eyed you from the pool table, his hair falling into his face just the way you used to like it.
Inseong sighed, putting down his stick and walking over to you. He stopped in his tracks when he was pulled back by a hand on his wrist.
"Where are you going?" Jaeyoon asked seriously, looking at his older friend questioningly.
Nodding his head in your direction, Inseong turned back to look at Jaeyoon. "I'm going to take her home," Inseong said, jerking his arm out of Jaeyoon's grip.
"You know that's a bad idea, right?"
"And why's that?" Inseong asked pointedly, clenching his jaw.
"It's Y/N, for goodness sakes! Your ex, remember? The one you dumped?"
"I didn't dump her," Inseong defended, rubbing his temples. "I broke up with her."
"Hyung," Jaeyoon said, leaning against his pool-stick for emphasis. "You told her you liked someone else and wanted to break things off to be with her. You dumped her."
Inseong sighed deeply, turning away while rolling his eyes exaggeratedly.
Jaeyoon scoffed in disbelief, shaking his head while watching his friend walk off in annoyance. "He never listens to me," he sighed, heading back to the pool table.
"Y/N?"
You froze.
You'd recognize that voice anywhere. Hoping you were hallucinating, you downed the last bit of your drink before going to refill it. The soju bottle, however, was tugged out of your hand and put on the far corner of the table. "I think you've had enough to drink, don't you agree?"
You turned to look at Inseong with a grimace, anger boiling in your chest. Inseong flinched at your hard gaze, not used to your cold stares—always expecting the warm and loving gaze he was so used to.
Clenching your fists, you stared him down. "What do you want, Inseong?"
He winced. You used to call his name lovingly, but here you were spitting his name like it was venomous. "I'm going to take you home, Y/N. You're wasted and someone might take advantage of that—"
"And?" you snapped coldly.
"And? Y/N, what's gotten into you?" Inseong asked angrily, his voice raising slightly. You winced, shrinking in on yourself. Inseong sighed, his eyes softening. "I'm sorry for raising my voice, but please," he paused, gently tilting your head up to make you look at him. "Don't say something like that again," he begged.
You nodded, almost falling all over again. You jerked away from him, clearing your throat. “I can't go with you."
"Why not?"
"Youngbin told me to stay here," you said matter-of-factly, recconnecting your eyes. Inseong froze slightly at the mention of Youngbin. Even while the two of you were dating he had felt somewhat insecure about your relationship with Youngbin. He felt that he liked you more than just a friend, and it made him nervous. Jealous, even.
He grimaced as he replied. “And you're listening to him why?"
You smiled sadly. “Still don't like him, huh?"
Inseong stayed silent, not having a good enough comeback to back himself up.
"So... Where's your new girlfriend?" you asked bitterly, staring at the bottom of your glass again.
"What girlfriend?" Inseong’s brows furrowed questioningly.
"BamBam said you were dating someone?" you said, your brow raised in disbelief.
Inseong scoffed, muttering under his breath. “I met a girl, yes, but we're not dating."
"Why not?"
"Because she's not you."
You paused. What?
"Excuse me?" you asked slowly, tears forming in the corners of your eyes.
"I miss you too, you know? It's not just—"
"Where'd you get the nerve?"
Tears ran down your cheeks in long, hot streaks, catching people's attention. One of whom was Jaeyoon, who ran for Youngbin.
"I'm human, Y/N! I'm hurting too!" Inseong yelled, standing up. You got up from your chair as well, staring at him with pure anger.
"I don't care how bad it hurts, Inseong!" you shouted back, people turning their heads to stare questioningly. Inseong stayed silent as he watched you, nails digging into his palms. Sniffling, you looked down. “I don't care how bad it hurts, because you broke me first."
"Y/N..." Inseong whispered, reaching for you before being pushed back.
Youngbin stood in front of you protectively.
"Leave her alone, Inseong. You've done enough," he snarled, turning around and hugging you to his chest.
Inseong's jealousy and guilt flared up as he could only watch you walk away with Youngbin... Watch you cry.
"I'm sorry," Inseong muttered, looking down as tears rolled down his face, sinking down onto his knees.

HOME WITH YOU
genre. fluff. inseong as a dad. warnings. a toddler (great heavens). mention of overworking. pairing. husband!inseong x nurse!reader. wc. 1.1k. request. no. a/n. inseong is so very dad coded :( along w youngbin also but i decided to write for inseong first probably gonna have that youngbin dad fic soon tho
“You messed it up, daddy!” You heard muffled squeals from the other room. It was still the first week of kindergarten for your 4 year old daughter, Mina. She wanted to wear pigtails every day for school, and your husband had been trying to oblige her request every day where you needed to sleep in.
You worked late shifts at the hospital, especially during the flu season that was just starting. It was exhausting, but coming home to Inseong and Mina always made it worth it.
You forced your eyes open enough to check the time on your phone, groaning when you realized it was still before 7 am. You hadn’t gotten home until past 2 last night, and you were definitely feeling the effects of continual loss of sleep. You needed a break.
The high pitched giggles from your daughter’s bedroom mingling with the deeper raspier chuckles from Inseong brought a small smile to your face. You were happy to be able to hear their joy. But a bittersweet feeling panged your heart as you were once again reminded that Mina was growing up, and because of your work, you were missing out on her childhood.
There really wasn’t much you could do. You couldn’t ask for less shifts— the hospital needed all the nurses it could get, especially since it was already short-staffed. You couldn’t quit your job, either. You needed the money to be able to support your family. The only thing you could do was keep going, with the small hope that the workload might lessen with time.
It was almost time for Mina to get to school, so you heaved your body up and rubbed the sleep from your eyes. You didn’t bother changing— you would probably find yourself falling back to sleep after you said goodbye to her, anyway— but you tried to rid any traces of your tiredness from your face. Though Mina was little, she was very observant. She didn’t understand complicated concepts like overworking, understaffing, and responsibility. But she did understand that if mommy was grumpy, it probably meant that she was tired; and mommy was only tired because she was never at home.
You walked into Mina’s room after you had deemed yourself presentable and immediately smiled at the sight before you. Your daughter adorned 2 lopsided pigtails tied with bright pink scrunchies. They were definitely messy due to your husband’s inexperience in dealing with hair— some loose strands of hair escaping them at the bottom, but they looked cute enough. The teachers at the kindergarten would probably redo her hair if it got undone anyway. Given the bright grin on your daughter’s face, and the way she was smiling up at your husband, you figured she was pleased with her new hairstyle.
“You all ready for school, Mina?” You asked, kneeling down to be on the same level as her.
“Yes!” She squealed, running up to you to give you a hug. You held her for longer than a normal hug with a toddler would last as you didn’t know when the next opportunity to hold her would be. Though she squirmed a bit, she hugged you back until you separated from her.
“You look very pretty today. Did your dad do your hair for you?” You tilted your head as you admired the messy masterpiece that Inseong had created on her head. The scrunchies matched her pink outfit, altogether making her look twice as cute as usual.
She hummed happily, holding a pigtail in each hand, “It doesn’t hurt when daddy does my hair.”
You laughed, “Of course. He doesn’t want to hurt your precious head, does he? I wonder how long they’ll stay in, though.” You murmured the last part, amused at how the left pigtail was already slipping. Inseong had gone to pack Mina’s little bag, and was now back with it in his hand.
“It’s time to go, princess.” He ushered, taking Mina’s hand and slipping the backpack on her back. “Breakfast’s on the table— coffee on the counter.” He called back to you as he lead her out the door.
You sighed, half happy and half exhausted. Seeing your daughter always energised you, but the high only lasted so long before the crash you always experienced. You were feeling it now, and although your brain and body wanted nothing more than more sleep, you chose to go find the food that Inseong had left out for you.
You smiled at the plate of pink dyed heart-shaped pancakes on a plate waiting for you. You got your cup of coffee and sat down to eat, checking your phone for your next shift in your schedule. Your eyes widened when you read it.
Y/n L/n and Park Sunhwa’s shifts covered for the next 2 days. New locums hired for the second week of September.
You hadn’t had a 2 day break in what felt like years. You wanted to laugh, or maybe cry. You had been so, so exhausted this past month. You finished your breakfast just as Inseong returned from dropping off Mina to school. He picked up on your elated smile quickly, and it quickly triggered his own.
“Why so happy, hm? You looked tired this morning.”
“I’m off for the next 2 days.” You told him happily as you loaded your dishes into the dishwasher.
“Really? That’s amazing, love. You deserve the rest.” He smiled, pulling you into his arms. You sighed as you leaned your head onto his chest and circled your arms around his waist tightly, letting all the exhaustion and frustration slowly release from the embrace.
“It’s been so exhausting. Missed you so much.” You mumbled, savouring every second you could feel being so close to him. The gentle squeeze of his arms around you, his calming scent reaching your nose, the soft thump of his heart in his chest. You were so glad to be back in his arms.
“You should go back to sleep while you can. It’s hard to sleep when Mina’s back from school.” He suggested, swaying you back and forth in his arms.
“Want to sleep next to you.” You responded, not objecting to the idea, but hugging him a little tighter just in case he might try to escape.
He laughed, stroking your hair, “Okay. We can sleep next to each other.”
Getting back into bed, this time cuddled up next to your husband, felt like home. It was quiet and intimate, and drowsiness quickly took over your body. You said I love you’s in hushed voices, and Inseong pressed light kisses to your head, reminding you of how hard you had worked and how proud he is of you. You fell asleep before him given your tiredness. He held you in his arms for a long time, listening to your steady breath and appreciating the feeling of you so close.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although you happened to recognize the boys right in front of you doesn’t mean you were a fan... The only reason you happen to know at least one of them is because your sister practically shoved her phone in your face every time, she would see a new picture of her damn husband.
“Uh... I think she’s a fan,” you heard one of them whisper to the boys and at that moment you knew you had to correct the boys right away because off the bat they assumed you were another fan. They probably assume that you were trying to look for them however you were trying to do the complete opposite.
“Oh no, I’m not,” the moment you happened to blurt that out, you looked at their faces and they went from smiling to looking at you in complete shock. Oh, did you say something wrong?
“Oh uh...” You could tell one of them was completely speechless until suddenly one of them thought it was okay to speak up.
“I know it’s none of my business but why are you here?” Well, you had no idea how to even take that question but just as you were about to answer you suddenly felt your head throb and you felt yourself feeling a bit lightheaded.
“Um... I came be-” you felt dizzier, so you tried to take a step, but you weren’t okay. You almost lost your balance but instead of falling to the ground one of the guys was quick to catch you.
“Guys I think we should take her to the hospital,” one of them said in a very deep voice.
“I’ll take her,” you had no idea what was going on; however, you weren’t okay.
“I’ll come with you, after all, I did hit her with the door,” yeah, he was the reason behind your throbbing head. The two approached you and both grabbed a hold of your arm.
“Youngbin, where are we supposed to go?” So, one of the guys that were holding on to your arm was named Youngbin?
“Take the van and head back to the hotel, Youngkyun and I will get a taxi and take her to the hospital,” Youngbin says, and you continued to stand there trying to get yourself together however you felt your head spinning... Before you knew it you suddenly felt completely nauseous, you had no idea why, but you could feel vomit slowly rising and you looked at the boys as they spoke...
And before you know... Right there you leaned forward and threw up...
The boys all pushed back except for one... One of them grabbed the back of your hair and held it for you as you continued with your business. You were surprised because that was probably the sweetest thing a guy can do however you felt like complete shit at this point.
When you finally finished vomiting, low-key embarrassed by your action you lifted yourself and the boys looked at each other, and then Youngbin spoke up.
“Yeah, we better take her now, we will see you later.”
~
“Well, the good news is that you do not have a concussion, you will have a mini bump, but you are okay,” your doctor says informing you and you nodded.
“But wait... If I’m okay, why did I throw up and why did I feel dizzy?” You asked the doctor and he chuckled.
“Must have been something you’ve eaten because you're throwing up wasn’t caused by the bump. The dizziness is due to a lack of hydration. I recommend drinking something that has electrolytes. I will be back and will get you an ice pack, you should probably put it on that bump of yours and you should be good to go,” you just nodded your head and then looked over at the two boys who were on your side.
To be honest you were a bit shocked to see Youngbin and Youngkyun still standing right beside you. If anything, you were expecting the boys to drop you off and go on with their business however they did not seem to do that.
You lifted yourself from the bed that you were sitting on and you looked at the boys.
“You know you two don’t have to be here right...” You said looking over at the boys who were staring at you and one smiled.
“I know, but I feel like we are responsible for you especially because my friend here almost gave you a concussion,” Youngbin says smiling and although you were a complete asshole to him, you couldn’t help but suddenly feel bad.
Youngbin wasn’t a bad guy at least that you know of and right now you decided the least thing you can do is say thank him especially because he decided to bring you here to the clinic when he didn’t have to.
“Um... Hey, thank you again for bringing me here,” before Youngbin can say anything the doctor returns with a pack of ice and hands it over to you.
As the doctor was about to talk to you, Youngbin’s phone suddenly started ringing and he was quick to excuse himself.
~
Youngbin’s Point of View
I told the boys to go back to the hotel, and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting any of them to call however one of them decided to call me and that’s when I knew one of them must have done something for them to suddenly call me.
“What did you guys do?” I asked the moment one of them answered the phone and it wasn’t long until I could hear Sanghyuk panicking on the other side of the phone.
“Uh, we may have a tiny problem,” I wasn’t surprised by the response. The only thing I was worried about was the problem the boys got themselves into.
Aish I should have gone with the boys back to the hotel room...
“What kind of problem are you referring to?” I instantly asked a bit scared of what Sunghyuk was about to tell me however instead of him talking I suddenly hear Jaeyoon speaking.
“Our manager is coming to our hotel room! If Youngkyun and you are not back in this room not only, will you two get in trouble but so, will we.” What on earth do I do now?
I knew I had to think of something quick. I mean I know I can easily make the boys stall the manager, however, Youngkyun and I would have to go straight to the hotel room and have no time to drop off the girl...
At this point on I have no idea what I’m planning to do but I must think of something fast before I get in trouble.
“Alright I’m on my way,” I informed the boys, and it wasn’t long until I ran off to where Youngkyun and the girl were standing awkwardly next to each other.
They looked right at me, and I didn’t know what I was planning to do but I must think of something quick.
“Uh... Do you have a specific time you have to be home?” I asked Y/N and she just stared at me confused.
“Why...” Instead of answering her, I smiled and then smiled over at Youngkyun.
~
Your Point of View
How on earth did your life turn out to be this way? One minute you’re forcing yourself to be a nice sister and go to a concert to a group you didn't even listen to... Then the next thing you know your sister forgets the tickets and happens to sneak in... You get abandoned basically the whole night and at the end of the show instead of finding your sister, you found your sister's idols instead with a head concussion.
Why? Just why...
“Why do I have to go with you guys to your hotel room again?” You asked Youngbin confused, he awkwardly smiled and looked over at you.
“You see our manager is heading to our hotel room and if he sees Youngkyun and I missing we will be in so much trouble...” Youngbin tries to explain and although you tried to comprehend what he was trying to say it got you thinking.
Well, if their manager gets mad at the idea of them possibly leaving the hotel room, how will they react when they see me in their hotel room?
“So... It’s bad for you to be gone from your hotel room but okay for you to bring a girl over?” You asked and Youngbin's eyes widen.
“Oh no... I was just about to ask you... Do you mind hiding?” Wow... ONE CONCERT = Almost head concussion, meeting your sister's idol, heading to their hotel, and finally PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK WITH THEIR MANAGER.
“Wow... I haven’t even met you for that long and I am already getting told to hide?” You said confused and to be honest a bit annoyed, however, they both looked over at you with pleading eyes.
Why do you have to be nice...
“Fine,” the boys cheered and before you know it you felt the car stop and you, at last, arrived at the hotel.
Just by the looks of things... Just from today, you can automatically tell that this is going to be one hell of a trip. You have a feeling that this trip won’t be like your other visits...
~
“Why did you bring her here with you?” One of the boys asked and all you could do was stay quiet and stand behind Youngbin and Youngkyun.
Okay first of all if it was up to you everything would have been different. You wouldn’t have gone to their dumb concert anyways. If you didn’t show up, then you wouldn’t be in this damn predicament in the damn first place.
Without even noticing you were so lost in your thoughts that you were looking right at the guy who commented.
“No offense,” you snapped back to reality and looked at him.
“None taken I guess,” you were offended but to be honest you didn’t even want to be there in the first place so who cares!
“Look, we didn’t have time to drop her off just to make it here before the manager does. So, the best thing we could do was come here and then see what we do after,” Youngbin spoke to the boys as they all continued to stare right at you.
Is there something on your face?
“She is some crazy fan doing this just to get closer to us,” one of them whispered to the boys. Did they forget you were in the room? Did they think you wouldn’t be able to hear that?
“You guys do remember I’m here, right?” You said looking at them and you noticed Youngbin hitting the one who commented on his head.
“Anyways if it makes you feel any better, I’m not a fan once again and don’t worry I don’t think I would ever be caught dead listening to your music so don’t worry about me,” you didn’t mean to be an asshole, but these boys have nothing to worry about.
All of the boys looked away and decided to keep their comments to themselves this time. That’s much better.
The boys continued to talk till they all suddenly got quiet when they heard voices outside their door. You looked at all of their facial expression and watched how they went from calm to panic in a matter of seconds.
“He’s here!” Youngkyun mouthed and they all looked at you and began to look around the room.
“Where do we hide her?” Whispered one of the boys and you watched as all of them were freaking out. By the looks of things, it must be their manager...
Instead of saying a thing you just looked around and found a room. If anything, you’ll just hide under the bed if it’s necessary, but you were pretty sure that the manager wasn’t going to look around the room for girls. Unless they’ve done something like this before.
As you departed from the boys you heard the whispering stop.
“Where did she go?” One of them suddenly asked.
“Who cares open the door,” damn who would have expected them to take so damn long. You stood and waited for the manager to be gone at last.
~
Youngbin’s Point of View
I have no idea where Y/N possibly went but one thing I did know is that I had to get the manager to not suspect a thing. I shouldn’t have brought Y/N back to the hotel, but this wasn’t planned.
Hopefully, everything goes smoothly, and I can return the poor girl to her home. What I still don’t seem to understand is how can she not be a fan and still show up at our concert.
My train of thought was gone when Inseong opened the door for the manager. He walked in and looked right at us.
“Glad to see you’re all here,” the manager says examining the room from up to down and even from left to right.
“Of course, why wouldn’t we be here?” Jaeyoon asks as he smiles and puts his arm around me.
“Just have to make sure you didn’t go wander off, you have to get some beauty sleep for tomorrow’s show,” just from body language I could tell the manager was suspicious.
Did he see us bring the girl?
I watched as the manager looked around one last time and then began to walk to the door. He smiles and looks at us.
“Tomorrow be ready by 8, you have rehearsal,” from that point on without anything else being said he looked at us and walked to the door.
I felt a bit guilty about lying so suddenly but what can I do?
I watched as he opened the door and before I know it, I see him step out and close the door behind him. As soon as the coast was clear the boys all breathed out and began to talk about how relieved they felt that he left.
However instead of joining the conversation, I began to wander off and look for Y/N,
Where is she?
~
Your Point of View
After hearing the boys convincing their manager that it was just them in the hotel suit you realized they are terrible liars. If you were the manager, you would have guessed they were lying but hey it’s none of your business.
“Where’s Y/N?” You were about to step out of the room when suddenly you heard the boys talking among themselves. You stopped walking any further.
“I don’t know but Youngbin why is she here again? Didn’t we go over this already?
Sounds like the boys don’t seem to trust you however you can’t do much about it. Right now, all you want to do is go straight home and sleep. You weren’t planning to tell your sister about anything that has happened, and you still won’t. It’s nothing to be proud of especially since you aren’t a fan.
“I told you already that we didn’t have time to take her back home, so I brought her here,” Youngbin says and instead of letting the boy continue with their conversation, you decided to cut in and go home already.
“Alright I’m ready to go,” you said stepping out of the room and all the guys staring at you.
“Where did you hide?” Youngkyun asks you and you pointed at the room and then looked over at the rest of the boys and smiled.
“Don’t worry I didn’t steal anything if that’s what you’re wondering,” since they are so sure that you’re a crazy fan you just had to let them know you didn’t steal anything; not like they probably believe but still you thought you should let them know.
“We weren’t thinking that” Youngbin instantly blurts out and you smiled.
“Look it’s okay if you think I have bad intentions but trust me all I want to do is go home... So do you think you can tell me the address of this hotel?” You asked them to look around the room.
~
After that incident, you were expecting Youngbin to call you up a taxi and you could go home but nope. One thing you can say for sure is the boys are a bit extra with the situation.
They asked a favor for someone that was their translator in the concerts to borrow his car and Youngbin decided to go drop you off himself and you denied him over and over but didn’t seem like he knew what no meant.
Eventually, you had to say yes just because he kept insisting over and over however you were expecting just the two of you to be in the car, but Youngkyun and another member decided to tag along...
This seemed like a never-ending cycle, all you wanted to do is go home.
Was that too much to ask for?
“How long have you lived in California?” Youngkyun asks as you all sat in the car in complete silence.
“I don’t live here,” you have no idea why they are even bothering to spark a conversation however you weren’t all that rude.
“So, you’re on vacation?” Youngbin asks glancing over at you from the passenger seat and you nodded your head.
“Yes, my plans originally consisted of spending time with family, possibly reading, and maybe going out on adventures on my own instead here I am in a car with a group my sister adores,” you began to babble on and they all looked at you and you awkwardly looked away.
Maybe you should have kept your comments to yourself...
“So, wait, you came to the concert because your sister likes us?” Inseong asks and you nodded your head.
“Then why isn’t your sister around?” Now here comes more questions.
“It’s a long-complicated story that I don't feel like going in debt with,” you said glancing at the boys they all exchanged looks with one another and then stood quiet.
You weren’t being mean to them on purpose... You were just extremely annoyed with everything that just happened and right about now, you need sleep.
“Here we are,” you opened your eyes and looked over at the house and then back at the boys.
“Thank you,” you were planning to just thank the boys and go on, but you started to suddenly feel bad about how you treated them.
“And... I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting. I’m sorry to complicate your visit and I hope from this moment on we don’t run into each other, so I don’t complicate your time here,” you said looking at the guys from the window and they just stared at you.
“It’s okay... Sorry about your head,” Youngbin spoke up and you smiled and nodded your head.
After this point on you didn’t want to see them again. Not because you didn’t like them but because you didn’t have intentions of begin friends or letting your sister meet them. You know how your sister gets and this is for their safety...
You backed away from the car and watched as they took one look over at you and then drove off.
Now you can go back to normal vacation and hope that you won’t have any incident like this happen again...
We all know that’s not how life works…
