Texts With Katsuki but You're An Exchange Student: Part 1
PREVIOUS
Tags: Exchange student!Reader x Katsuki, Female!Reader, Uncle Might, Bestie Izuku, SMAU, Traumatic childhood, University AU, characters are 20/21, war never happened for the sake of our happiness.
The walk to the training facility was quite peaceful. In the short time you'd known him, you'd noticed Midoriya was a talker. He was asking questions about your quirk, how you learned to use it given the circumstances of your childhood, millions of things.
Usually you'd feel inclined to tell someone to fuck all the way off upon being asked any of these questions. But the space between you and your new friend felt comfortable, which was something you couldn't say you'd experienced in a long time. If anything the tension in your life had been palpable the past few months, even if it was only between you and yourself.
When the two of you finally arrived at the training facility you were happy to find it empty with the exception of All Might. He was perched on the opposite side of the room, on what looked to be a spectators bench. He raised a hand high and waved both of you over.
"Young Midoriya, Young (y/n), lock the door behind you and come on over so I can explain today's exercise." He nodded in the direction of the door and Midoriya turned to lock it. You made for the side of the room All Might was sitting on with Midoriya a few steps behind.
While All Might explained what you'd be doing you took off your overcoat. You hadn't wanted it to be ridiculously obvious where you were going, especially not after blowing off your practical partner. So you'd opted to throw the biggest flannel known to man over your training suit.
The mock up of your current gear held up well enough for it to be a training suit, one comparable to the one you've used in combat. Though the gear itself was a little... ratty. It hadn't been updated in quite some time and would without a doubt benefit from some TLC. You made a mental note to visit the support department before All Might spoke.
"Alright, go ahead and show us what you can do kiddo." He nodded as he motioned for Midoriya to sit next to him.
You tilted your head in confusion.
"Huh? I thought we were supposed to-"
"Nope. If your enemy is to have a fair fight they need to understand the range of your abilities, and yours is quite wide. Regardless of strength, It would be both unfair and reckless to send Midoriya in blind, even in a sparring match."
"Fair point, but then what do you want me to do?"
"Simple, use your quirk in the best way you know how. Show off a little if that's what you want to do," All Might waved his hand flippantly, "I just want to see what you're capable of and where your limits are, so that you can surpass them. The last time I saw you use your quirk was years ago. I would imagine you've improved since then?" He quirked a brow. Midoriya sat beside him with a notebook in his lap, looking between the two of you.
"I have." You nodded curtly, beginning to understand what was being asked of you.
"Then the floor is yours Young (y/n)." All Might gestured to the expansive training room behind you. You turned towards the open space, calmly walked to the center of the room, and thought through your plan. If improvement was what was being asked of you, why not show just how many of your limits you've surpassed?
Overhead you counted six rows of ten high-powered lights, making for sixty total. With those, plus the air conditioning, plus the rest of the technology in here, you figured you should be set. Electrical energy seemed to be the safest route while still being impressive.
Taking a deep inhale you tightened your core, the very inside of your soul to be as hard as rock. "Siphon." You breathed out on the exhale, you made an effort to feel every molecule of electricity within your reach. The current expanse of your quirk was the training room. If necessary, you could triple your reach, but you didn't want to take power from any of the dorm buildings.
Push your energy out, grab more of it, pull, compress.
Push your energy out, grab more of it, pull, compress.
Push your energy out, grab more of it, pull, compress.
You could feel your insides burning, but not in a way that hurt. They burned in the way that let you know you were sucking up every volt of energy available to you. In such a way that you could feel the energy building on itself and multiplying.
You didn't notice the way the lights went out, or the way the AC stopped working, or the electrical lock on the door come undone. You only knew you'd taken all you could when the breaker popped, then exploded with a resounding clap.
The way that you looked during was unbeknownst to you. But if you had to guess by the, "Oh my, oh my, what?" that Midoriya breathed out with wide eyes, you'd say terrifying.
If the way that All Might was looking at you like a proud father was any indication, you'd say you did your job.
Smiling softly you looked down at your, now glowing, skin. Electricity danced across it softly until you allowed it to dissipate. Simply deactivating it and storing it as potential energy.
"When I told you to show me what you got, I didn't mean to cut the power out. Jeez kid, what have they been feeding you over there?" All Might joked with a smile, one you returned to him proudly.
an: if you read all of this thank you??? and let me know what you thought please, it's always appreciated sm, i love feedback. i'm sorry this was so long. the next parts won't be this beefy i swear (unless y'all want them to be, lmk). i just wanted to get a scene of reader's quirk use in even though the description kind of sucked?? any guesses on what our quirk is? also it will be much more katsuki heavy in the future. just needed to get the setup done!

The Lost Sister - Part 21
Synopsis: Xaden is known as an only child due to his sister who 'died' during the Rebellion. Little do they know she didn't die and has been so close this entire time.
Garrick Tavis x OC A/N: I just want to say, hello to all the new people! So many of you have found this series in the last week. So welcome! Thank you for making me smile like an idiot when my phone goes off when a binge read happens. Literally makes my day. And you've come in at a great time for me in introduce some tension back into the story. I'm not sorry.
The Lost Sister Masterlist | Masterlist
We had managed to keep my signet development hidden longer than I thought. Xaden had requested I hold off from approaching Professor Carr till some of the tension around Amber’s execution had died off.
In that time I had used any free moment to practice, mainly in the privacy of my room or Garrick’s. But a few times I had practiced in the training room while Garrick, Bodhi and Xaden sparred. Though I had to be careful. One time I had tried to pull one of the weights towards me and instead of a slow gradual pull, I had flung it across the room, narrowly missing Bodhi and Garrick who we’re in the middle of a fight. Both of them had turned to me wide eyed after the weight had skimmed over their heads before imbedding in the stone wall. Xaden on the other hand had burst out laughing even though I’d nearly taken them out our best friends. I had yet to grasp the other part of my ability, coming up short any time I tried to focus on someone. Amber and Jeremiah had been erratic in their emotions. Both knowing death was coming. I had wondered if their calls for help had amplified their presence, allowing me to draw on it. The only other ones I had managed to slightly do it on since were Xaden, Garrick and Bodhi. Which I had put down to how well I knew them. As if my signet already knew exactly where to look, where to seek them out. But even then I couldn’t always do it. I had put the incident in the tower that day down to my heightened emotions. But I couldn’t put it off any longer as I walked into Professor Carr’s classroom for the first time. His room set all of my senses into overdrive. A long chamber with no windows on any of the outwards facing walls. Every wall was padded. Which given the variety of signets we all had and had passed through this room over the years, were probably there for protection. Carr looks up at me instantly, a smile curving at the edge of his mouth that sends a chill down my spine. The way he studies me doesn’t help.
”The other Riorson. Finally ready to join us I see.” He drawls.
I nod and stand up tall. “Sure am.”
His eyes finally meet mine again. “What’s your signet power?” He asks as he slowly walks over to me.
Xaden and I had discussed how to address this topic. We could try pass it off as levitation, but knew that would be no point. The way I could manipulate and control things would soon alert Carr that I possessed another ability. A more powerful ability. The one thing he and I agreed on, as well as Garrick, was that I was not to let on about the projections I was able to do. We just hoped I didn’t get influenced by my emotions and let it loose in the middle of class one day.
I draw in a breath. “My dragon called it Psionic sir.” I tell him.
Carr’s eyes light up instantly at my words. I knew they would. After scouring the records of every rider who had passed through this quadrant, we had not found a single person with this signet, or a name similar. From what we could tell I was the first. Unless it had been redacted. I was something new for Carr to examine, to see what my signet could do. Something I really did not want. But to give myself the best chance at improving my signet, I had to. If I was to help Xaden and this rebellion, I needed all the help I could get. Carr hurries over to his desk and comes back with a scroll, sealed by a wax seal that must be his own. Next to is a marking I know all too well from my time around Melgren. Classified. He hands it out to me. As I grasp it he leans in.
”You must not speak a word of your signet to anyone. Take this downstairs after class with your jacket.” He tells me barely above a whisper before turning back to his desk.
I look down at the scroll in my hand and know all too well what this holds. My uniform is now to bear another patch. A patch I’ve only seen one other person in this quadrant bear. The classified signet patch. A compass. I look up to see the other squads including my own looking at the scroll in my hands with intent. All of them clearly wanting to know what it means. I quickly shove it into a pocket inside my jacket before taking a seat between Rhiannon and Liam. Both of them turning to me instantly.
”Care to explain?” Liam asks as he leans on the desk looking at me.
”Explain that I have my signet? Thought that was obvious by my appearance in the class.” I reply sassily, earning me a roll of his eyes.
”That, but also the fact you didn’t tell us and why he gave you that scroll.” Rhiannon adds as she leans in from the other side.
With Liam and Rhiannon leaning on their desks facing me, I am boxed in completely. No escape while we wait for the class to start.
”It only just happened.” A lie. A blatant lie. And with the way Liam shifts in his seat I know he can tell. He isn’t blind the the training sessions that only Garrick, Bodhi and Xaden have been allowed to since the night Violet and I were attacked. “And even if I wanted to tell you, I can’t now.”
Rhiannon’s eyes drop to my jacket where I had shoved the scroll. I can see the temptation in her eyes to use her signet to draw it to her. “It’s classified isn’t it.”
I merely nod at her as Carr moves from his desk. I might be the first one to posses this signet, but Carr had known my signet was important. As if he had already imagined someone manifesting this. Waiting for it. He probably had a hunch about what else I could do or hoped I could do. I was now playing a dangerous game. Classified signets we’re only told to those who needed to know. Those in command. By the end of the day the leaders of formation would know. Melgren would know. From here on out I was playing a dangerous game.
Walking down the corridors to battle brief I could feel every pair of eyes on me and the new patch on my jacket. As instructed I had taken my scroll to the uniform room, and watched as they had quickly attached the patch to my jacket. And in that time, the first years in third and fourth wing had already spread the news. The quadrant had another classified signet. And everyone knew. As I walked into the battle brief room, everyone went silent. Even Devera and Markham. All eyes on me. Though there were two sets I felt more than the rest as they burned into the patch on my left shoulder. As I meet Xaden and Garrick’s eyes, I could see the worry. No I could feel it. There in my mind I could feel their presence. I could feel the nervousness that now consumed them. Not only did we have other cadets to worry about, we also had leadership. I now had a different and bigger target on my back. A target not even they could protect me from.
A target that had very quickly met its mark. I watched as every single cadet in the room straightened in their chairs or where they stood. Watching as Xaden and Garrick’s eyes went wide. Xaden’s arm raising to push Garrick back as he steps forward. Just like he did on conscription day. I didn’t need to turn to know who stood behind me. I knew their presence all too well. Enough my signet could sense it. A looming black presence, crackling and erratic at its edges. It screamed danger. Screamed to run away from it. It was so fitting for them. But in the five years I had been under their guidance I had never run from it. And didn’t plan to any time soon.
”Sorry to disturb you Devera, but I need to borrow Cadet Riorson here. They’ll be missing your class today.” He drawls. I can hear the smirk in his voice.
Devera stares behind me before nodding. “Of course General.”
I turn around and meet the cold and familiar stare of General Melgren. Part 22

The White Knight - Chapter Four
-> KNIGHT!KITA SHINSUKE X PRINCESS!READER
-> Previous Chapter
-> Series Masterlist
Summary: A relationship between a knight and a princess is impossible, so it is best to just keep the emotions hidden.. but what happens if you can't?
Words: 3,262
Warnings: none
Kita's Point Of View
His breathing was hard as he walked to the edge of the training area. Putting his practice sword down, he tried to catch his breath.
“That was really good, Sir Kita,” the knight he had been training with said. He was his second training partner that day, the first one had already exhausted himself more than an hour ago. He should be tired too, but Kita could not feel the exhaustion in his bones. All he could feel was his heart beating against his ribcage, where he could still feel your hands pushing his armor against him, making his heart beat even faster. Even after hours and hours of training, the only thing on his mind was you - the one thing he was trying to stop thinking about.
“I think that's enough for today,” the other knight said as he gathered his things.
“Really?” Kita looked up at him. He had hoped for another round or two of sparring.
The other knight laughed. “Everyone else has already left for dinner and I'm not gonna miss it.” He shouldered his bag as he left. “You should pack up, too!”
Sighing, Kita looked up at the sky. It was getting dark and if he didn't hurry up, there would probably not be any food left in the knights’ dining hall. Of course, he could go into town and buy some food by himself, but he really did not feel like having to deal with all of the lowlifes that came out at night, streaming into taverns all over town.
“So, what's going on with you, hm?”
Osric's figure appeared out of nowhere, his hand suddenly on Shinsuke's shoulder. The fact that he hadn't even noticed him coming along was a tell-tale sign that he was much more exhausted than he knew or wanted to admit to himself. He wanted to keep going. To try and distract himself, stop himself from going down the road he was currently on.
“Nothing's wrong.” He shrugged Osric's hand off and started to gather his things into his bag as well. They knew each other for long enough that Kita was certain that there was no way in hell his friend would leave him alone now. Better to pack up and leave then.
"Oh, really? Is that why I hear you've been training for four hours without a break?”
Kita huffed in response. He really was not in the mood to talk.
“Hey!” Osric's hand grabbed his arm with more force than Kita expected. “This isn't like you.” His eyes bore into Kita’s. “Remember when we first met and I was overworking myself? You almost locked me into my room to make sure I wasn't doing anything stupid. And now you're doing it yourself! What the hell is going on with you? I've never seen you like this!”
Osric was right and Kita knew it. They had met years ago, when they had both just been knighted. Osric was working tirelessly to improve his skills and become a better knight. But as he was training and training, he was overworking himself. Kita was the one who had forced him to realize that there had to be a balance between working and relaxing, that breaks were just as important in becoming a better fighter as the training was. Ever since then, the two of them had gotten closer and every time they met, Osric was happy to catch up with his old friend, telling him all kinds of stories that made Kita laugh. So Osric knew what Kita was like. And that he would never behave like this if something wasn't seriously wrong.
“It's the princess, isn't it?” Osric's grip on his upper arm softened and so did his eyes.
“What do you mean?” Kita crossed his arms, forcing the other man to let go completely.
“Look, Shinsuke,” he started. There were few people who addressed him like this. Unlike Osric, Kita preferred to be referred to by his last name. The other knight wasn't so “uptight” (in his own words) and had soon after meeting Kita decided that addressing him so informally was appropriate, without even asking. Weirdly enough, Shinsuke could not find himself to care. He actually enjoyed it and found himself wanting to befriend the young knight.
Talking to Osric was refreshing. His other friends were scattered all over the country and none of them were knights, so having one who understood what he was going through was nice. Now it seemed that he understood what was happening in his life more than he would like.
Osric looked around the empty courtyard before he kept talking quietly. “Look, I know what it's like to have feelings for someone you shouldn't.. but there is nothing you can do about it. Trust me. It's not going anywhere, no matter how much you want it to, no matter how much you train and exhaust yourself. The only thing that you're going to do is hurt yourself and if you're not in good shape you won't be able to protect her the way that you're supposed to. Is that truly what you want?”
No. Actually, that was the last thing he wanted. But what other choice did he have? How else could he possibly live through his days, by your side, in agony because he could never truly be the man by your side? Soon, you would get married. Your husband was the man by your side, Kita was just your knight, someone who was supposed to stay in the background and support you silently.
“How do you do it?” Kita’s voice was just a whisper and he couldn't even bear to look Osric in the eyes. No one was supposed to know about this. But if Osric knew, did someone else? What was he supposed to do? How could he stop this dangerous behavior?
“I just.. think about her. And what is best for her. That's what loving someone is all about, isn't it? It gives me the strength to do what is right.” His friend paused for a moment. “It gets better.”
Kita raised his head to look at him. “So these feelings do go away?”
Osric shook his head. “No. But they get easier to hide. You'll get through this. I know you will. There is no one more loyal or disciplined than you.”
His words haunted Kita even as he laid his head to rest on his pillow that night. His discipline was in fact something that he had always prided himself on. Never had he been the best at swordsmanship, never been the one with the longest endurance or the fastest runner. But he had always been someone who pushed himself to never give up. Even if he failed, he kept working on his skills.
He got up every day and made his bed. He kept his body clean, polished his armor. He attended his regular training sessions and endured pain during battle without losing his head. Yes, he was a very disciplined young man. Or at least he had been up until very recently.
But how could he call himself disciplined when he couldn't stop staring at you when you weren't looking? Whenever he was around you these days, his eyes wandered on their own from your hair to your beautiful face, over the only pair of lips that could speak the words that would relieve him from his suffering. His eyes wandered down over your neck, your shoulders and arms to the hands whose touch felt almost healing when they had pushed against his chest. Hands that had ignited a deep, hidden desire inside of him.
He felt ashamed to even admit that he was having these feelings but he did, there was no way around it. Of course he had been interested in other women before he had met you but they hadn't been his princess. To him, you were larger than life, you were the person that he had pledged himself to and in turn, every action of his was supposed to benefit you. The thoughts in his head were anything but.
Now, he was laying in his bed, thinking back to your hands on his chest. In his head, he imagined them sliding over his shoulders and onto his back. Nuzzling his face into his pillow, he imagined how it would feel to be held by you, to lean his face onto your neck, your cheek, as your hands caress his back, fingers running through his hair. To be granted such a soft, tender touch by your hand must be what heaven feels like. Any touch that you were willing to grant him, he would take gratefully. You could slap him across the face and all that he would want to do would be to kiss the hand that touched him. Even if he could never be loved by you, he could be by your side. Every day, he had the opportunity to see your face, smell your scent, hear your voice. That was more than he had ever deserved and he would work hard to protect you, until the end of his days.
In the beginning, he wanted to serve you for a different reason. A heavy weight was on his shoulders and it hadn't lifted yet, a heavy guilt that he tried to erase by helping you. He still felt as guilty about his past as he did back then but now, that didn't matter anymore. He did not protect you for his own consciousness anymore, he did it because he wanted you to live on. Safe and happy. Even if he wasn't the one to make you happy he could be the one to make sure you would live to meet that person.
—
Your Point Of View
Another night was passing in which you were unable to find any sleep. For the past ten days, you had been nothing but exhausted. You barely left your room except for the occasional stroll through the gardens and the meals with your family. You barely spoke to anyone, didn't even meet up with Alysane like you used to.
After what had happened at the garden party, all you wanted to do was go to your room and rest. But when your back hit the mattress, peace was as far away from you as it ever had been. The thoughts running through your head were all over the place - from fear to bad memories of death to anger towards your father to confusion and hurt when it came to Kita's actions.
You could not comprehend what happened in the hallway that day, even after pondering it for hours and hours on end. Why did he leave you alone so suddenly? Well, he did not actually leave you alone but he did back off, stopped supporting you like you wanted, needed him to. His touch had been the one thing keeping you grounded and gave you a sense of security you had almost forgotten even existed. Why would he take that away from you? Had he not told you that it was his duty to take care of you, to protect you from whatever harm may come your way? Still, he left you! Could he not see how much this fear was crippling you? Perhaps he was afraid that you might think that he was feeling something for you that he wasn't. Or was he scared that you might reciprocate the feelings that he did have for you?
Well, that thought was ridiculous. Never would you think of him, your knight, like that. It wasn't appropriate of you to think of him romantically, so you didn't - and he should know that. He was simply a protector to you. You only thought of him as someone who was loyal. Strong. Kind. Caring.
You did not think of how his broad chest felt underneath your palms or how it moved with every breath that he took. You did not think of that one time you saw him train. How the very same chest that you touched heaved as he was catching his breath, his hair a gorgeous mess that was sticking to his sweaty forehead. You did not think about that, at all, no. Only sometimes did you think of how his golden eyes looked in the sunlight. Almost never did you think about his hands. How they had grabbed you when you were about to fall. How they supported your waist and held you upright with a strength unknown to you until then. It felt almost sinful to think of how rough his palm felt pressed against your cheek and how gentle his touch still was despite the callouses adorning his skin. How he cradled your head so carefully, like you were the most precious thing in the world. And you certainly never thought about how close his thumb had been to your mouth. How easy it would have been for you to turn your head.. just a little bit.. until his fingertip touched your lips..
You groaned into your pillow. Hopefully that would muffle it enough for no one else to hear it. What were you getting yourself into? Grabbing your pillow, you pressed it harder into your face. Just then, your hand brushed against something laying underneath your pillow: a handkerchief. The one Shinsuke - Kita - had given to you in the garden. The one that still smelled like him, even after you had cleaned it. You had wanted to give it back, you really did. But somehow, you found yourself holding it up to your nose when you could not find any rest. Late at night, when you were scared and tired, you just let yourself be surrounded by his smell as it lulled you into a few short hours of sleep.
Slowly, you pulled out the cloth and turned onto your side as you brought it up to your face. Tonight, it would not be helping to fall asleep, you could already tell. The thought of him only made your heart beat faster and your mind race. It only made you think more of his hand when it held out the handkerchief to you. And thinking of his hand made you think of his grip on your waist and your arm. It made you think of how it would feel to have his hands move across your skin, your body.. mapping out the curves of your figure.. cradling your face gently while he -
“Argh!” You crumpled up the handkerchief and threw it as far across the room as you could. This was bad. Very bad. You had to do something about this - before it got too bad.
—
The next day you felt the rare urge to leave your room. After a quick breakfast, you took the opportunity to leave with a knight other than Kita. Since it was still early in the morning, the night guard was still on duty and Kita wasn't supposed to be here for another hour, giving you enough time to enjoy a few breaths of fresh air without feeling his presence around you all the time. Especially after the road your thoughts had taken last night you did not feel like you could face him. Just the thought of his eyes looking at you made your cheeks heat up and the butterflies in your belly started stirring. It would be best to get out of here and distract yourself as quickly as possible. Hurriedly, you threw your coat on and left your room.
The crisp air felt refreshing as you stepped out into the sunlight and reveled in the peaceful atmosphere around you. Everyone else was either still asleep or getting ready for the day so you had the outside all to yourself. This really was a good idea, you thought to yourself as you let the few rays of sunshine that came through the trees warm your face. Though you were enjoying these few moments, you did not have a lot of time left. You wanted to avoid Kita, so you had to be back in your room before he came around.
When you reached your room a bit later, you told the other knight to go and find your maid for you. Later today, you wanted to take a bath and knew that it would take more than one maid to heat up the water and fill up the tub so it was best to let them know ahead of time so that they could prepare and gather everyone needed.
The knight did not want to leave you, even though you urged him that you would be safe and sound in your room. Thankfully, just a moment later he spotted your maid at the end of the hallway.
“I'll go tell her,” he finally agreed since he would just be down the hallway. No one could get into your room without him noticing.
Relieved, you reached for your pocket where you always kept the key to your room so you could unlock it. It was a motion you had made a million times already since you had made it a habit to lock your room after an incident a few years ago where a few men snuck into your room and stole your jewelry. But this time around, your pocket was empty. Did you lose the key? You patted down all of your pockets but could not feel it anywhere. Luckily, there was a backup key so it wasn't that much of an issue if you really had lost it. There was a different problem, though: This second key was safe and sound with the one person you did not wish to have to talk to today - Kita, of course. When you had decided that you could trust him, you had given him the spare key so that if he needed to, he could get into your room or if you locked yourself out, like now, the other key would be right by your side. But the embarrassment of having to not only face Kita right now but also have to tell him that you had done something so stupid.. it was too much to bear.
Today, you truly were all over the place. Losing your key, rushing out like that in the morning; you hadn't even put your hair up like you usually did.. then, a thought struck you: In your rush, did you even lock the door?
Hesitantly you reached out to the door handle, praying that it was unlocked and - Thank God! - it was. You let out a sigh of relief, throwing one last look down the hallway. The knight was still chatting with the maid, probably sharing some gossip, like you knew she loved to do, and Kita was nowhere to be seen. Thank God you made it back to your room before he came along!
You slipped into your room and threw the door close, not bothering to look at the door as you took your coat off. Instead, you were already eying the table. Was that where you had left your key? Just as you reached the table and put down your coat, you heard it - the unmistakable sound of a key turning in a lock.
With one motion, you turned around and stared at the familiar face of the man in front of your door as he slid the key into his pocket with one hand and pressed his pointer finger of his other hand to his lips, warning you to stay quiet.

genre: action, fantasy, rivals to friends (?), elemental powers!au, academy!au
wc: 744
warnings: use of weapons depicted, descriptions of mild pain
notes: so. this was definitely not inspired by the fact that i've watched some action scenes recently and have been fighting too many enemies in genshin. and i mean, the bible verse (but tbh i'm not that religious). i've hit an annoying writer's block as of recently, due to many circumstances (which mostly fall under college/school/studying for exams). but i figure i can write this much, and just try and to take things one day at a time.
as always, remember that reblog, likes and feedback are appreciated!

you rushed towards san, spear aimed carefully towards him. this fight had been going on for too long, and it was time to end it, one way or another.
the side of your weapon clashed with his water blades. he moved elegantly, using his body control to try and gain the upper advantage against you. but you wouldn't allow that. with the help of your spear, you remained grounded, managing to support your core. you kicked three times in succession, forcing him to dodge out of the way.
on the sides, people watched in awe as the two of you fought. ignoring the fact that this was a battle, the way that you responded to him and vice versa made the combat seem more like a dance for two.
you stared at the camera and screens displaying your battle stats for a brief moment. at this school, (sanctioned) fights were actually encouraged, in order to improve a student’s strength in combat, and many people tuned in to watch sparring matches.
well, we might as well give everyone out there a show.
san’s movements modeled water, making him the perfect person to test your earth skills against. you of course, could never underestimate the deadly power of water and of the boy you’ve learned to call your rival since day one at kq academy.
he threw his dual blades, waiting for them to return. you barely dodged the attack in time, but once you regained your footing, you sent multiple rocks cascading across the arena, watching as he tripped over a particularly large one.
you walked over to san, pointing the spear at his chest. he was panting heavily, probably exhausted from using so much of his elemental power. you were too, but you summoned the strength to speak.
"are we going to continue?"
he grumbled and attempted to stand up, but found himself unable to do so. "not... now. i yield."
after he said those words, the screen changed.
[match ended]
victory: y/n l/n
loss: choi san
you extended a hand to him, grinning slightly. he stood slowly. the two of you shook hands and bowed, as was customary after battle.
the two of you sat down on a bench, recovering from your fight.
"better heal yourself well before we spar again,” you said with a teasing grin. “can’t be facing you while you’re so tired.”
he returned a calmer smile. “i look forward to another match with you, although i’ll definitely be more prepared. better watch out.”
chuckling to yourself, you couldn’t help but remember your previous interactions with him.
in your pursuit of worthy opponents, not many gave you as much of a challenge as choi san. he was always thinking on his feet, a fast learner, and a threat despite his innocent appearance.
you two were opponents in the arena, but you held a great respect for him regardless. it was through fighting him that you had learned valuable lessons about your own strength and how to recover from loss gracefully, something that he did well.
he held his left hand over his wrist. "ah, you've certainly improved from the last time. keep it up and i’ll probably have to heal more often.”
“of course. i have to improve constantly to beat somebody like you.”
you leaned back against the wall, glad there was a sound barrier between you and the people waiting. you needed a few more minutes to rest, and quite honestly, you were used to san's presence, having run into him in your fights and in class.
this was the foundation of your interesting relationship with him, the feeling of battling until your lungs gave out, shaking hands afterwards and doing it all over again.
you gulped down your water, glancing over at the boy who almost bested you in battle today. it was time to leave him alone to rest. besides, your friends were probably wondering when you were gong to come out.
walking up to the stands to go meet your friends, you paused and turned back to wave to san. “well, good luck trying to beat me again, mountain boy. i’ll be here if you need me.”
he waved back, a challenge hidden in his steady gaze. "i'll see you around."
as iron sharpens iron, your matches with san sharpened the two of you into the fighters that you were today, rivals that held a respect for one another and helped the other grow stronger.

She thinks that about him too, that he's pampered and soft because his father is a king. They sparred once, and she beat him. He wasn't inclined to let it happen again. “ No, I expect your best. ” He had a mission to be the kingdom's best sword. That could only happen if he was at his best, and if his competition was at theirs. As Bianca gathers her blade, so does Aemond — one of the finest in all the seven kingdoms, made just for him. He feels no need for a training blade, not with another who is so skilled at the sword. “ I'm assuming you've trained more since we last crossed blades. ” The prince says rather bluntly, hand resting on the hilt of his as they start to walk down the dark halls of the palace. “ I want to be the best I can be. Right now, you're the best. ” He wants to be remembered — he wants to be great. “ I used to spar with Criston Cole. He always lands on his back. I cannot improve if that is what I'm dealing with. ”
i must make them care. a sentiment the woman knows only too well. often taunted or simply overlooked for the mere fact of being a woman, she had been underestimated her whole life. before the mage's curse and after. there was no end to it. despite her story being one told to children to fear strangers, to not trust in magic and witches. “ always, my prince. ” i must make them care. i must make them see for themselves. it was something she'd lived by for years. the woman tossed the last gulps of wine from her glass into the fireplace before setting the cup down, then moving towards a drawer on which she'd set her belongings. fingers curl around the hilt of her sheathed sword and, despite its weight, bianca grabbed it with ease and latched it back onto the belt buckled around her waist. he's never been afraid to leave the blunt sparring blades and drawing real steel with her: something that'd made an impression on bianca the first time they'd crossed swords. “ only... ” casting a glance over her shoulder and back at aemond, half a smirk paints her features in the dimly lit room. “ don't expect me to go easy on you simply because you're royal. ”

My Own Healer
English isn't my first language so there are grammatical errors which I apologize for in advance.
_________________________________
Y/N was grinding dried medicinal herbs for future use since she can't really rely on anyone else, she'd rather save on the mora rather than go buy medicine at Bubu Pharmacy. Although Baizhu was more than happy to give her tips on how she can make those last and effective.
She looked at the powdered herbs before finishing the last batch and putting everything away, she smiled at the tiny achievement she's done in just half the day.
"That should do it", she said to herself when she heard a knock on the door, she opened it and saw Childe bruised and beaten which made her sigh.
"Come on in", Childe was more than happy as he walked in and made himself comfortable on the chair.
"Weekly sparring with the traveler?", she said as she got the medicines and bandage to use on him.
"You know it", even though he was wounded he was still playful and had a grin on his face.
"Basing on your face right now, you must've had a really good time considering you were badly beaten up", it's been like that for a few months now. She first met Childe while she was gathering herbs and saw him having a confrontation with the treasure horders. On how she came to treat his wounds, she can never know.
"It was pretty amazing, the traveler's improving every time we face off", He replied as he slowly took off his top revealing wounds and bruises.
"Good for you", she set down a basin of water and started cleaning his wounds careful not to worsen it while Childe could only watch her do so.
Y/N started to apply some medicine on his wounds, she didn't bother telling him it would sting since they've done it countless times but it seemed like he got used to it already. Covering the wounds with bandage.
"You should be careful next time, I might not be around the next time you come here for treatment", she didn't really mean it as she grab the basin and put it away.
"I can just ask others to heal me", he said jokingly which made her hum in response, while he put his clothes on.
"That's great to hear", she put her hair up and began cooking since the ginger would likely stay again.
"Anyway, I gotta go and catch up with the traveler", this made her stop since she's already prepared for two people.
"Alright, have fun", she smiled at him and showed him to the door, only when Childe was out he noticed the amount she was cooking.
"Have a nice day", she closed the door before he could say anything, Childe didn't have a choice but to leave before he could even say anything.
Y/N continued cooking and after she was done she packed the amount for one and headed out, walking around she spotted a patrolling mileleth which made her smile.
"Excuse me!", she called to get his attention which was successful as he stopped.
"How may I help you miss?", he was pretty friendly.
"Oh I came to give this to you, the person who was supposed to dine with me left in a hurry and I can't let such food spoil so I decided to give it to you", she held it to him which he accepted gratefully.
"Thank you so much, I've just been thinking of what to eat",
"It's no problem, you've been doing a great service to Liyue. It's the least I could do", she smiled before going back home.
-Time Skip-
Y/N packed some of her stuff and headed out, heading to Mondstadt to gaze at the dandelions. It was her favorite so far as it symbolizes freedom and she loved how it swayed and gets carried away by the winds.
Childe was on his way to Y/N's place as he knocked on the door, he waited for a few moments but no one opened the door which confused him.
"Girlie? Are you home?", he called through the door but still no response.
He opened the door and noticed that no one was around, even the things looked untouched for days. This made him nervous as he thought of what she said a few weeks ago.
"No, she can't be gone", he said as he headed out to the harbor thinking she went there to purchase some stuff.
When he got to the harbor he asked around but it seemed like no one really saw her around the whole day let alone a few days ago. Y/N was unaware with everything going on, she knew Childe could easily have himself treated by healer vision holders so she wasn't that worried.
Y/N was enjoying her trip as she got closer to Mondstadt, the trip took her 2 days since had to rest once in a while before she could see the first dandelion. She made camp right next to a few dandelions after making sure there are no hilichurls or slimes around.
Childe was going crazy since he still couldn't find her, he didn't really take it to heart when she said she won't be around anymore. He imagined the worse situations and visited every place he could think of but failed.
-Time Skip-
Y/N was on her way back home with a few dandelions with her after asking a local from Mondstadt if she could take a few of them with her which he agreed. She was almost at her house when she noticed the familiar ginger sitting in front of her door with his head hung low.
"Childe? What are you doing here?", she asked once she was close enough, he immediately look up when he noticed her presence and heard her voice.
"Y/N! Where have you been?!", he asked as he stood up and wrapped his arms around her.
"I just went to Mondstadt to admire the dandelions, did something happen?", she asked while patting his back with one hand.
"I was so worried when I came here and didn't see you, I searched everywhere", this made her laugh a bit.
"Why would you be? You can easily have others heal your wounds, you don't need me", his grip on her only tightened as she said those words.
"Childe?",
"I thought something bad has happened to you", he said softly.
"I'm alright, are you worried that your healer won't be around after your weekly sparring with the traveler?"
"No, I'm worried because I care about you", he pulled away and looked at her, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"Enough with the jokes Childe, come on in. I'll make some tea to calm you down, you seem to be talking nonsense", she smiled and opened the door, walking in.
"Why don't you believe me?", she sighed and turned to him.
"Why would I? You're a mighty harbinger, you serve the cryo archon directly. Like you said you can always have vision holders heal you in a snap so I don't see the reason why you'd care for someone lowly like me", she stated as she prepared some tea. Childe was silent which made her laugh.
"Don't think too much about it, why don't you relax for a few days", she set the tea down and gestured at the opposite chair but Childe chose the one next to her.
"Childe?"
"I'm serious Y/N, you have no idea how panicked I was when I noticed you weren't home for a few days. I searched every place possible but no luck", he smiled softly and caressed her cheek making her blush.
"Why would you look for me?", she asked as she look at him.
"Isn't it obvious? I like you Y/N, I always have and that's why I preferred to be treated by you instead of the healers cause I get to see you", he said with a small smile.
"If, if this is one of your jokes it's not funny Childe", she moved away and gently pushed the cup over to him.
Childe leaned close and kissed her softly making her blush, he pulled away almost immediately since he didn't want her getting awkward.
"I'm not joking Y/N, I really like you", Y/N turned a brighter shade of red.
"I.. I like you too and I'm sorry for thinking that your confession was a joke", she fiddled with her fingers which made him laugh.
"No need to apologize", Childe smiled and kissed her forehead.
The day went by with Childe throwing either cheesy lines at her or just talking about random things which they both enjoyed doing.

Fair fight
Word count: 593
"So we spent some time 'trying to kill each other'. What's the big deal? The first thing you did was to stab Cas, and even Eileen attacked Sam at first. "
Dean sputtered, trying to find a way to explain to you why it was different, thank you very much, while Sam chuckled.
"You have a point. But why the - ? " he asked, copying your air quotes.
" Because this asshole, " you answered, pointing behind you to your current chair, "wasn't really trying to kill me. He was just playing with me."
"And that bothers you."
"Of course it does! He didn't even had the basic respect to actually try. It's insulting."
"It's not about respect, sugar," Gabriel said, "If I had tried even the smallest bit, you would be dead. And why would I have wanted to kill the only hunter who seemed to appreciate my work?"
"Hold on, appreciate your work?", Dean asked, looking at you with judgment.
"Only the ones he did against actual bad people," you defended yourself, "and were funny. Which wasn't a lot, because his sense of humor is trash."
"Excuse you, I'm hilarious.", Gabriel said, offended, but not that much, Sam figured, since he made no move to push her off.
"Guys, let's stay on track please." Sam said before you could say something back, trying to stop you from starting your back and forth. While your bantering was cute, you tended to forget you were talking about something and just kept bickering for the sake of it.
"You were talking about him not really fighting you?"
You turned towards them again, and blinked a few times. "Oh, right. I mean, I know he's strong, but why refuse every time I've asked for a fair fight?"
"Because there's no fair fight against an Archangel, and you know that," Gabriel said matter-of-factly, "And no, this isn't about your fight skill. You've improved massively, but even when we spar I have to take it almost all the way down."
You huffed and crossed your arms . But you couldn't be that mad about it, since you stayed on his lap.
"What do you mean, you spar?" Dean asked.
"Exactly what it sounds like," you responded, "I found out who he really was when I rescued him from a group of angry Pagans, and it made me realize how weak I actually was against supernatural entities. So I figured, since I saved his ass, the least he could do was helping me get stronger."
"But how does it work? He's always going on about how he's such a better fighter that us."
"We work on levels. I fight one level above them until they can keep up, and then I turn it up," Gabriel explained.
"Can you teach us too?" Sam asked, then shrugged when Dean looked at him funny.
"What? It would help us fight against all the other angels."
To his credit, Sam noticed, Gabriel did consider it. Sure, it was for all of two seconds. But hey, even that was an improvement.
"Nah." he said at last. "Doing it with them is enough trouble already. And you're not so bad. I mean," he added, "by my standards, you are, but nowhere near where they was when they started."
"I call favoritism." Dean said.
"Well, duh." Gabriel said back, then tilted his head when you turned towards him with a strange look. "What?"
You shook your head. "Nothing, " you said, facing the brothers again, this time leaning back against him, and he automatically put an arm around you.
Progress, Sam noticed.

Mini Fanfic #1021: (Not) A Coffee Shop Date! (King of Fighters)
12:04 p.m. at Athena's Coffee Shop.........
Leona: (Smiles Softly at Shingo While Sitting in Front of Him in their Table) I must say, you've improved a lot since our last spar, Shingo-Kun.
Shingo: (Smiles Brightly at Leona) Thanks! I think I'm starting to believe that way too. (Starts Rubbing The Back of his Head Back and Forth While Smiling Sheepishly) Though, to be completely honest, I... didn't really think I was able to keep up with you at first....
Leona: Perhaps, but your performance today did play a part in increasing your stamina and agility fairly well. (Grabs her Chin While Thinking) However......
Shingo: Hm?
Leona: There are a few things I think you need to work more on....if you don't mind me pointing them out to you that is.
Shingo: (Happily Shakes his Head) Not at all! (Quickly Got his Noteopad and Pen Out of his Pants Pocket) I'm all ears! (Taps the Button on his Pen)
Leona: (Giggles Softly) As prepared as ever I see~ (Simply Nodded Before Getting a Bit Serious) Very well. Firstly, let's go over your primary fighting stance. It doesn't look too bad like last time, but I believe there's still have room for more improvement.
While Shingo begins to listen closely and writes down every critiques and pointers Leona gives him, his three co-workers/gal pals stares at the duo behind the cashier counter in a mid distance.
Athena: (Squeals in Excitement) Oh my ggoodnessss!!~ Are you girls seeing what I'm seeing right now?~
Hinako: (Clasps her Hands Together and Puts Them Beside her Head in a Cute Fashion) They're having a lovely coffee date together, aren't they?~
Malin: Looks like it to me. (Crosses her Arms With a Cheeky Grin on her Face) Did not think a military babe would suit our goofball's style~
Athena: I didn't either. But I've already pictured a hundred different scenarios on how their relationship could play out and they're all romantic!~
Malin: (Turns to her Boss Next to her) Doing another psychic ability of yours, 'Thena?
Athena: (Smiles Sheepishly) Telepathic predictions. I couldn't help myself.....
Malin: (Smirks Teasingly at the Pop Idol) Oh really? Like how you couldn't help yourself by using your psychic vision to peep at the boy's locker room?~
Athena: (Immediately Blushes Bright Red) T-That was one time, Malin, and it was an honest accident!!
Malin: Sure it was!~
Athena: MALIN!~
Hinako: (Shushes Athena and Malin) Girls, we have to maintain level of our voices. They'll hear us!
Athena: (Quickly Clasps her Hands Together in Embarrassment While Whispering) Right! Sorryyy!
Malin: (Rolls her Eyes) Fiiiiine.
Back to Shingo and Leona
Leona: And that....seems to be all the critiques I could think of giving you as of right now. (Smiles Softly) Other than that, keep up the good work in your training
Shingo: (Happily Salutes to Leona) Will do, ma'am! And can I say that you would make a really fine coach one of these days, by the way~ (Playfully Winks at Leona While Finger Gunning at her Direction)
Leona: (Giggles Softly) Funny you mentioned that. I'm actually coaching Iori and Shun'Ei to help have a better control of their powers.
Shingo: (Eyes Widened a Bit in Genuine Surprise) Oh really? That's cool!....I-Iori isn't causing you any trouble, is he?
Leona: I...would be lying if I say that our first session didn't start off rocky at the time...B-But rest assured! He has gotten more cooperative overtime, recently even.
Shingo: ('Sighs in Relief') If you say so. That guy really terrifies me.....
Leona: I can tell. (Frowns a Little in Worry) Your hands would start to shake whenever his name is mentioned. Has he really caused you that much trouble in the past?
Shingo: (Quickly Smiles Sheepishly) Yeah, but I-It's fine! Really. The past's the past, you know? I'm sure I'll get over it. Eventually.
Leona: If you're certain....
'Ringtone Ikari Warrior's Theme (KOF14) Plays'
Leona: (Looks Down at the Screen on her Phone) Hm. It's Ralf. (Picks her Phone up From the Table as She Gets Up From her Seat) Do you mind if I take this in private? It might be important.
Shingo: Not at all. Take as much time as you need
Leona: (Simply Nodded) Thank you. This won't take long, I promise. (Answers the Call While Making her Way Outside) Hello? Leona Heiden is speaking.
Shingo watches the door close as he takes a sip.of his coffee. At least until a simple sound of the word "Hi" starts to starle him enough into almost spilling his hot beverage. As he carefully places his cup back down, turns to his three gal pals standing and smiling right next to his seat.
Shingo: Oh. (Smiles Softly at the Trio) Hey girls. What's up?
Malin: Ohh not much~ (Puts on a Cheeky Smirk on her Face) Just making sure you're well acquainted on your little coffee date with your ladyfriend outside~
Shingo: Oh thank- (Eyes Immediately Widened at the Realization) Waiiiit a minute. You guys think Leona and I dating?
Athena: (Happily Nodded) Yep!~ Or at least we hope you two are~
Hinako: She seems like a really nice girl~
Malin: With a hot, thicc bod to boot~
Shingo/Athena/Hinako: MALIN!
Malin: What!? She's a full package! (Pats Shingo on the Arm) And those muscles of hers are almost as built as yours are, big guy.
Shingo: ('Sigh') Thanks, Malin....But seriously girls, Leona-san and I are just here hanging out, as friends. Nothing more than that.
Hinako: Really? You two seem to enjoy each other's company fairly well.
Shingo: Yeah, definitely. But that doesn't mean we're instantly going to fall head over heels for one another. Leona already has enough in her plate as it is to worry about that kind of stuff.
Athena: (Grabs her Chin While Thinking) That is true.....But have you ever thought of being in a relationship with her before? (Wiggles her Finger at the Blue Boi) Be honest.
Shingo: (Starts Rubbing The Back of his Head Back and Forth a Bit Bashfullly) Well, I mean....I guess I did thought about that once we left the gym together....(Sighs Again While Placing his Head on the Palm of his Hand) But then I remembered K' telling me that I'm out of her league.....not entirely wrong.
Malin: ('Scoffs') Oh please. What would a lazy slacker like him know about romance anyways? If there's one person who would have a shot with a girl like that, it would most definitely be you!
Shingo: (Eyes Slowly Starts to Widened) You....really mean that?
Hinako: (Smiles Softly) Of course. You're sweet, earnest, hard working.
Athena: (Happily Hugs Shingo) And the biggest goofball we all know and love~
Malin and Hinako joins in on the hug too.
Shingo: (Heart Begins to Melt in Genuine Happiness as He Accepts the Hugs) Aww you guys~ Thanks. But I still want her and I to be friends for now, you know?
Athena: We understand. Just know that if you ever need any advice on the dating scene, don't be afraid to come to us for help, okay?
Hinako: Us ladies has plenty experience for this sort of stuff, you know?~ (Playfully Winks at Shingo)
Malin: (Shrugs) I don't really care for that romantic crap, but- (Eyes Suddenly Begins to Widened) Shit! Military babe is coming back inside!
Athena: (Eyes Widened as Well) Oh! Well...(Looks Back at Shingo) Let us know if you need anything from a text and we'll help out from there, 'Kay? Loveyoubyeee!~
Before Shingo could say anything, a pink light begins to surround the three girls as they disappear out of sight, causing the goofball to sigh for the third time before Leona comes back to their seat.
Leona: (Seats Back Down at her Seat) Apologies for the delay. Ralf has been taking cooking classes as of late and wanted to know few ingredients for a cake he's making.
Shingo: Oh it's no problem. Did not take your commander for a cook though. When did he started taking classes?
Leona: A few weeks ago. He was terrible at it at first, but he has started to improve overtime.
Shingo: Cool, cool. (Takes Another Sip of his Coffee) So uhh....Leona-san?
Leona: (Turns her Attention to Shingo While Sipping on her Own Cup of Coffe) Hm?
Shingo: This....(Rubbing the Back of his Head Back and Forth While Shyly Looking Away) Might be the most outlandish question for me to ask, but.....have you ever thought about dating before? Like...ever?
Leona: (Raises an Eyebrow) Dating?
Shingo: Yeah, you know....Like being in a romantic relationship and whatnot. (Chuckles Awkwardly) I mean! Granted, you don't HAVE to answer that question if you really don't want-
Leona: Oh no it's fine. I don't mind you asking me that at all. I usually don't think about it too often and would brush the thought of it off on my mind, entirely. Even still....
Shingo: Hm?
Leona: It....(Starts Blushing and Smiling a Little) would be nice to fall in love with someone, experience a few date activities here and there....maybe even form a stronger connection between one another overtime if it goes successful. (Frowns a Little While Sighing) But given everything I've been through over the years, I doubt there's anyone that would be interested in someone like me....
Shingo: (Eyes Widened in Genuine Shock ) Are you kidding!? Any guy in the world, would be stupid NOT to give someone as great as you a chance in the dating scene!
Leona: (Taken Back by Shingo's Sudden Outburst) Y-You....really mean that?
Shingo: (Quickly Nodded his Head) Absolutely. You're smart, helpful, strong, pretty, cute, and you're really fun to hangout with, 'least I think so anyways....(Immediately Shakes his Head) B-But that's beside the point! The fact of the matter is that...(Stood Up From his Seat and Points at Leona in a Determined Like Manner) YOU Leona Heiden, are the textbook example of a full package!!!
As the sound of customers talking among themselves is still present and the blush slowly begins to show up on the Ikari Warrior's Cheeks, Shingo stood there for a few seconds before his eyes starts to widens and mentally hears a broken glass as he realizes what he just said.
Shingo: (Immediately Sits Back Down While Blushing Bright Red) T-T-THAT WASN'T WHAT I MEANT TO SAY! I-I mean, I did meant what I said about you being great and all, b-but not the full package part! I don't even know where that came from let alone meant it, which I CLEARLY didn'tbytheway! (Clasps his Hands Together and Bows his Head for Forgiveness) Pleasedon'tbemadeatmeeeee!!!
'Heh heh heh'
Shingo slowly brings his head up to face his inevitable fate...only to see Leona laughing wholeheartdly at him, with no trace of malice anywhere near the sound of her voice.
Shingo: (Almost at a Loss For Words) L-...Leona-san?
Leona: (Finally Calms Down her Laughing) My apologies~ (Wipe a Single Tear From Off her Eyes) It's been a while since I've laughed so loudly like this. It felt great.
Shingo: So....does this mean you're....not mad me for what I said?
Leona: (Smiles Softly) Of course not. I was surprised, sure, but I was never mad at you to begin with, Shingo-Kun. If anything..... (Starts Blushing Again While Flipping the Back of Her Haira bit Shyly) lt...actually makes me happy to hear you think so highly of me. So....thanks.
Shingo: Y-Yeah. No problem. (Smiles Sheepishly) What kind 0f friend I would be if I didn't? ('Heh') Can we.....not tell K' about what happened once we get to his place later on today? He's never gonna let me live it down.....(And I really don't want to buy more than five bags of beef jerky on the way to the store.....)
Leona: Don't worry, I won't tell him anything. So long as you keep being the kind, superiorly cuter person you are of course.
Shingo: ('Sighs a Back in Relief') Yeah....I can do that- Wait. Cuter-
A pink light reappears in front of Shingo and Leona's table revealing itself to be Athena, Hinako, and Malin wearing sombreros and holding a few shopping bags in their hands.
Athena: ('Sighs Heavily in Relief') Ohhh thank God we're finally back home....(Turns to Leona Before Happily Waving at Her) Oh hi Leona-Chan!~
Leona: (Simply Nodded to the Pop Idol) Athena. You've been well.
Shingo: Yeah, where did you guys went off too?
Athena: Oh we just went on a few detours and sightseeings here and there.....
Malin: (Points at Athena Next to Her) Little Miss Psycho Pants here kept teleporting us around the globe. (Rolls her Eyes) As per usual....
Athena: (Immediately Pouts at Malin) How many times do I have say I'm sorry!? I panicked!
Malin: (Glares Back at Athena) Yeah? Well, think and warn us next time you start doing that crap! I nearly threw up in my bags....
Hinako: ('Sighs') Anyways....(Smiles Brightly at the Duo in Front of Her) How is your time together going along?~
Shingo: Pretty good. Nothing too eventful happening on our end.
Leona: Shingo-Kun called me a Full Package.
Shingo's eyes and mouth immediately widened in shock and disbelief.
Athena/Hinako: (Drop Their Bags on the Ground Before Gasping Loudly and Turning Their Heads Directly at Shingo) YOU WHAAAAT!?
Malin: (Smirks Very Devishly at Shingo) You don't say!~
Shingo: IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, I SWEAR!!!
Leona: Really? You seemed very confident when you said it.
Shingo: Well-Yeah, but- I mean- See, the thing is, I-
Malin: Enough chatter! (Pulls a Chair From a Nearby Table and Place it Next to Leona as She Sits Down on it) Give us details, woman!
Athena and Hinako rapidly nodded in agreement as they lean their heads a little closer to the Ikari Warrior member.
Leona: (Taken a Bit Back From the Sudden Request) If...you insist I guess. It all started when I walked back in the shop and.....(Continues to Tell the Girls What Happened)
Shingo: (Slumps his Head Down on the Table in Embarrassment) (What has my life turned into? A misery pile of secrets?)
???????: (Are you quoting Dracula right now?)
Shingo turns his head to see Athena staring at him.
Shingo: (Huh.) (Slumps his Head Back Down) (I guess I am....) (Eyes Starts to Widened Again Before Turning Back to Athena) (Hey, wait a minute. How are you able to read my thoughts right now?)
Athena: (Smiles Brightly) (Psycho powers, silly!~ I've always been able to do this. Plus, your mind is already like an open book sooooo....)
Shingo: (Groans While Slumping his Head Down Yet Again) (Don't remind me.)
Athena: (Gently Rubs her Friend's Back) (If it makes you feel any better, we've got you a few souvenirs from our unexpected trip~)
Shingo: (Quickly Got his Head Up Again) (Really?)
Athena: (We'll give them to you after Leona finish telling us about the "Full Package" situation, 'kay?)
Shingo: (Sighs Heavily in Defeat as He Slumps his Head Down One Final Time) (Fiiiiine, I'll wait and listen....Just...please don't laugh me too loudly....)
Athena: (We'll try~)

Reader Who Is A Sword User
strongest duo x gen!reader
a/n: huge manga spoilers!! also just a bunch of random hcs with them<33
geto finds your style very intriguing, the way you wield your sword and how you slash the curses before gojo could
(that was because he was slow- okay let's go from the very beggining-)
the two were assigned to take on these two second grade curses who were slithering around town so they went right on immediately, just because gojo's favourite sweet shop was close by
they could end the day easily by defeating the two curses,
but the problem is
both of the curses were fast on their feet and manage to dodge them, they were like irritating rodents who teamed up with each other and they didn't let the two have a chance at killing them
gojo was beggining to lose it, even geto showed signs of frustration with the crease of his forehead
then you popped up.
"this is so goddamn annoyinggg" gojo staggered when he stopped running after the curses, just to complain and geto huffed. yes they were annoying but that's a reason why they have to end them quickly.
"step back." a sudden figure sprinted sideways to the curse and manage to cut the side of its head off but another annoying trait about them is healing quickly.
this also was an advantage to the duo since there was a path you opened in which geto could distract the curses with his own as they corner the two while gojo did the finishing blow and puffed out his chest and cheered when they finally vanish.
an action didn't go unnoticed by the two when you pressed your temple with your thumb, thinking to yourself you could've finish this easily if you striked at the right spot but you shook your head to your regrets and went to the two.
"are you okay?" geto's hands were held in yours as he choked a little as a suprised reaction settle on his face when you suddenly held him. "ah i'm okay.." he rubbed his neck and you smiled warmly in which dissappeared quickly when gojo suddenly held onto you.
"that was really cool!! we should celebrate-" suddenly having an arm wrapped around you, he marched alongside with you and rambled about sweetshops and your sword skills while geto shook his head to his partner's overfriendliness.
after getting to know the two, you wanted to know them a lot more now because who wouldn't
nah, it's because they were on the same levels of power and you wanted to know how they got so strong and you constantly spar with them
they also wanted to know you too! your sword skills were a contast to your personality, they enjoyed your company!
they helped you improve a lot with your strength and noticing the change made you smile to yourself,
not only you made a few friends (including shoko and utahime who they later introduced and where you occasionally bake with them) but you've improved yourself from way before
the two would notice if your mood improves from day to day that it makes them all fuzzier inside just like you who would hug your pillow every night and roll around to your self achievements
and they would fistbump each other because of how good they are at teaching
well they're not technically wrong because
they helped you improve hand to hand combat, from days you stumble into them when you couldn't punch them to days where you accidently would slam your fist in their chins, you were a quick learner
"i can't use my sword?" the duo thought the same thing when you slowly slid your sword away , "damn they wanna kill us".
geto would check how you hold your fists and how you strike them and fixing them when you start going back to stage 1 when you forgot how to do it.
kinda grateful that gojo haven't improved his infinity yet so he was your punching bag which you could actually touch and he easily catch your fists but you manage to sneak in a kick or two. you roll your eyes because gojo couldn't take most of the sparring seriously and geto was your main teacher but gojo was slick, he did sneak in some teaching in for you to learn.
and as a punching bag he promised to be, there were some times where you actually did made him faint because you kept hitting his neck so many times, you and geto burst up laughing when he suddenly stop talking when he dodges you because you always had the chance to hit him in the neck because of his ego not covering his throat.
other than sparring and missions which were times where they actually see you, you were pretty much gone for the rest of the day after shoko reported that you did infact had breakfast then dissappeared off to nowhere
easily detecting you to be in the gym? they slowly opened the door to it and gawked and they look towards each other than back to you
you were lifting dumb bells and goddamn you looked so damn attractive doing so
they felt woozy looking at you and how tough you looked not being covered with your uniform
sweating in your tank top, you looked back at them and gasped in pure shock that you dropped your dumb bells which thankfully didn't hit you or your sword
the duo couldn't help but admire you for how strong you are and well it was akward since they just found out you work out and they were just standing there being all shy and squeling silently like highschoolers
but that doesn't mean they won't do anything with this newfound info because they jump right away to exercising!
you muttered a few curses and nonchalantly told them not to push themselves because you might never know with these idiots
"you won't be defeated!" "and i don't want you to die"
it was.. entertaining
gojo had you on your back while you were seated on him and you were likely impressed when he didn't complained to the dumb bell you carried when his chest lifts from off the ground
(even geto was a little shocked at this)
geto dear, he was smooth when he wanted to touch your biceps (when he's supposed to be busy at exercising)
he places it on your shoulder when he complimented you then it starts trailing down to your bicep when he starts throwing questions and squeezes them (yes while you were still on gojo's back)
and the way these boys had to find out about millions ways of stretching to not stay sore and well they were tbh but it felt a lot more better when they went back to their rooms and were able to sleep like babies
geto's question was answered to why you brought your sword in the gym and is because of practising slashes
though it was dangerous but you got it under control and you swing your sword in grace as they watched from their position (cause they were currently exercising, look im not a gym instuctor and im too lazy to search up im sorry i'll do better next time)
the day goes by fast with the chattering and insults and it was such a treat to end it with tea
shoko pulled out cinnamon rolls that were dripping with sweetness and it was love at first sight for gojo
geto expressed his gratitude for it and shoko pointed to you that you were the one that made it
"you really are perfect-" he sobbed dramatically on your shoulder while countinuing to nibble on his roll
talk about dramatic, thank god you see his hand that you slapped reaching for the last one when its well reserved for utahime
(utahime feverishely thanked you)
respectfully they were great people
a sweet tooth who was cocky and messy with a more tamer gentleman who still caused chaos for everyone will never bore you to death with whatever hell they're planning
and you were glad to have them lead the way for you
even if one of them stumbles and takes you with him

CHALLENGE G.L.
REQUEST: could i pls request some gar logan x reader fluff where gar has a huge crush on the reader who's very self assured and confident and he keeps his feelings to himself because he doesn't think he's enough for her. then one day she corners him and asks why he's been so distant and he confesses his feelings and it all becomes a big fluffy mess. bonus if the reader was subtly flirting the whole time and gar was oblivious.
Warning: fluff, Gar being sad a little
A/N: First Gar fic! I hope you all enjoy! 💕
Part two
Word Count: 2.7k
Being a part of the Titans was everything you could dream of and more. For once in your life you finally felt like you belonged somewhere. Your teammates, your friends - they were more than that - they were your family. No matter how much they fought, you knew that you would always be there for each other.
Much like Dick and Jason, you were only human. On a team filled with people of extraordinary powers and abilities, you should have been the kind of person that felt intimidated. However, being without powers and still deserving a place on this team made you maybe a little too confident.
You were cocky when it came to showing off why you deserved to be there just like everyone else. That attitude rubbed off on you when you weren't training or in the field too. Even just lounging around the tower you oozed confidence. A lot of times in your life, you found that girls would be envious of you and boys would be intimidated by you.
You became a challenge.
Even within the safe walls of the tower you were still within danger of being the prey. Jason Todd relentlessly tried to win you over. He adored your skills, your beauty, the incredible intelligence you maintained all while keeping a humorous mentality. You were the definition of perfect to many.
And you knew it too. It was rare to ever see you put yourself above others, but you were well aware the affect you had on people. After years of being put on an unwanted pedestal of perfection, you knew that people desired you. It was what made you so confident in yourself. Thankfully, you knew well enough to keep yourself humble. Mostly.
Jason continuously tried to flirt his way into your life. Though you enjoyed the playful banter between the two of you, he wasn't the person that you were interested in.
You and Gar were best friends. The second that you two met it was an instant connection - he brought out a side of you that had been tucked away for so long. Around him you could be your playful, care-free self. You didn’t have to worry about maintaining the facade that people expected from you. He was like a breath of fresh air every time you were with him. It was nice to finally have someone befriend you for more than just your beauty and skills.
"Come on, Gar! You can do better than that."
Training day was always your favourite day. It was the only time that you felt like you could truly let off some steam. Kicking ass against some bad guys always did you good too, but you always had to restrain yourself to some degree. Training allowed you to go all out and gave you the time to improve your skills.
At the moment, it was you and Gar sparring in the ring. Once the dummy you were using had been beaten down multiple times, you needed a live, moving opponent. Gar was the nearest person you could find who wasn't busy. Most of the time, it was Jason you sparred with - he had a similar set of skills to you.
"You know my hand to hand skills are no where near as good as yours," Gar complained. He laid flat on the mat with a bruised ego as you stood above him. As much as he had been learning from you and Dick, he didn't even compare. He had powers, he didn't need to be as reliant as you with pure skill alone.
"Then don't use them," you stuck your hand out to help him up. "Let out the beast, I can handle it." Gar immediately shook his head, he didn't want to hurt you - being the tiger could do some serious damage against you. Being human meant you healed like a human, he wouldn't forgive himself if something happened.
"(Y/N), we talked about this," Gar argued. He ducked, narrowly missing your left hook. The two of you circled each other on the mat. You were in your usual training attire - shorts and a sports bra. It also happened to be Gar's favourite outfit on you, and the most distracting. "I'm not going to fight you like that."
"Yes, you are," you confidently told him. Gar tried to make the first attack this time. He lunged towards you and jabbed his fist towards your face but you had seen it coming. You grabbed onto his arm and twisted it behind his back. His knees buckled as you kicked the back of them and your arm wrapped around his neck. "I'll even say please."
Gar shivered as your breath fanned against his neck. Over the time that the two of you spent in the tower, he realized that his feelings for you were a little more than friendly. Just like any other man you came to encounter, he had fallen for you alluring spell. It broke his heart to know that he never stood a chance to win you over. Not when there were people like Jason out there.
"No."
"Gar."
"I don't want to hurt you!" He broke out of your hold and turned to face you. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt you. Every time you came back from some sort of mission with cuts and bruises, he wanted nothing more than to take that pain away from you. You were far too precious to have to go through any pain.
"You won't. I can handle myself," you assured him. "Besides, I always enjoy the view when you switch back to yourself," You winked at him. Gar's face flared up red with embarrassment - He hated not having his clothes after he used his powers. You on the other hand, always liked getting glimpses of him.
"I'm definitely not doing it now," Gar muttered, still blushing. Your grinned at him being so flustered by your compliment. You reached up to pat his cheek, but it had only made his redness worse.
"Fine, I guess I'll go find Jason or Dick to spar with," you dragged out your words, hoping that he would get the hint that you wanted to train with him, not either of them. He didn't, of course. As always, unless you were being direct he never picked up on your desire to hang out with him. At the mention of Jason's name, he had already given up.
Gar hid the hurt look on his face as you offered to train with someone else. It seemed to be good timing too, Jason had just been walking by when he saw the two of you and decided to pop in to see how things were going. "Look at that, once again just impeccable timing," Gar had a noticeable tone of frustration in his voice.
He left the training room without another word, unable to see the sad look on your face as he left. Jason on the other hand, looked thrilled to get to train with you again. It was Gar that you wanted to spend time with, not him. It was always Gar that you wanted to see, he was the most important person in your life.
"Gar!" You called after him. He either didn't hear you or decided to ignore you. Either way, you frowned at his departure.
His smile would light up any bad day you were having. No matter how bad his jokes were, they always seemed to put a smile on your face. You even suffered through him playing his video games just to see him excited over a win. And when he asked you to play against him, of course you couldn't deny it.
"You ready, princess?"
"Call me that again and you won't get back off the ground."
><
Gar had been avoiding you.
At first, it was subtle. He would be late enough to dinner that his usual spot beside you was taken. He then started to choose someone else to spar with during training. That you weren't surprised about, after the last time you figured that he would go with Dick instead of you for the next few times.
If you were in the living room, he would stay in his room. If you ever went to go visit him there, he would claim he was just about to jump in the shower and he would catch you later. By that point, you were far past suspicious of his behavior.
Gar was your best friend, and without him your days were lonely. It had only been a few weeks since he started ignoring you, but you missed him. The short time apart realized how much you truly cared for him. You knew that these feelings you had for him had been there for quite a while, but you never realized how strong they were.
You wished that Gar was more than a friend towards you. With him ignoring you, it was easy to assume that he didn't feel the same way. You whole life was spent with boys chasing you, and when the one you cared about most wasn't, well it was a shock to you. Gar was the only person you wanted to looking at you with admiration and now he couldn't even look you in the eye.
After giving him his space for a few weeks, you decided enough was enough. Gar was your best friend and he sure as hell wasn't acting like it. Whatever was going on with him, you needed to know. The only way that you could help him get through whatever he was going through was to know everything.
So, when you saw him sneaking into the kitchen for a late night snack, you cornered him. Gar was peaking in the fridge as you stood behind the door. There was no way that he was going to avoid you this time. The second that he closed the door and saw your figure standing there, he got so frightened his eyes turned bright green.
"(Y/N)!" Gar shouted, nearly dropping the jug of milk he had grabbed. His hand was over his chest after the surprise and his eyes wide. "What, uh, what're you doing here?"
"You've been avoiding me, Garfield," you got right to the point. A nervous smile covered his cheeks "And don't try lying to me that you haven't, I know you better than that. You're my best friend, Gar. I'm worried about you, what's going on?"
"I don't want to talk about it," Gar stated. He turned away from you to continue making his midnight snack of what you assumed was going to be cereal. It was always his go to - you knew that. However, his hesitance to tell you how he was feeling was what made you nervous. He was never like this, not towards you.
As soon as he tried to pass you, you snatched the bowl of cereal out of his hand and stood before him. There was no way he was getting out of it this time. Not with the way that he was acting.
"(Y/N)," Gar whined. You gave him a look that insinuated that you weren't about to give up. He tried to grab the bowl from your hands but you were too quick for him to even get near it. That didn't stop him from trying. Gar tried to out-wit you, but had only failed. "Give it back, I'm hungry."
"No," you affirmed. "The only way that you're getting this bowl is if you fight me, or if you tell me what the fuck is going on with you." Gar tilted his head down, he didn't like either of those options. However, he knew he'd rather get his ass kicked by you, then to ruin the friendship that he had.
When Garfield tilted his head back up, his eyes were green and his skin was tinged the same color too. He was willing to beast out if that meant that he didn't have to confess his feelings to you. His action hurt you more than you ever thought they could. Gar wasn't a violent person, and for him to do this, it really meant he didn't trust you.
Gar went back to his normal self when you didn't budge from your spot. He was even more surprised when he noticed how glassy your eyes looked and the tremble in your hands while holding his bowl. Gar didn't hesitate to throw his arms around you in hopes to comfort you from his actions.
"I'm sorry," He whispered. The grip he had on you caused your shirt to scrunch up in his hand. You set the bowl on the counter beside you and wrapped your arms around him as well.
"No," you shook your head at his apology. He had done nothing wrong, this was your fault. "If you don't want to talk about your feelings then I shouldn't force you to do so. Just... if I'm doing something wrong, or you're upset with me for something just tell me. I can't sleep at night thinking your avoiding me because you hate me now."
You gave Gar one more squeeze before walking away from him. It wasn't fair of you to try and force him to talk about something that he wasn't comfortable with. You should have known better. It was just always so easy to talk to him, you always thought that he felt the same ease with you.
Your breathing trembled as you walked down the empty hall to your room. Maybe the friendship you had with Gar wasn't what you thought it was.
A hand latching onto yours nearly made you jump. Gar had stopped you. He tugged you back towards him, and if it wasn't for his hold you would have fallen flat on the ground. Gar held you up against him with his hands resting on your waist. Your hands were delicately rested in his chest.
"(Y/N), I..." Gar stuttered over his words. He was hesitant to tell you his feelings, but he needed you to know that he didn't hate you, not at all. The closeness of you made him nervous, he could see every little detail of your face, each one of them perfect in their own ways. "I..." he tried once more.
You couldn't take this anymore. You couldn't take teetering around him and your feelings towards him. Endless flirting that he never seemed to pick up on or the fact that you got flustered every time you messed up and he was around. This battle you were having with yourself about whether or not Gar's feelings for you were more than friendly needed to end.
Your hands slid up his chest until they rested on the side of his face. The warmth of his skin drew you in more, like you craved his touch. Gar let out a gasp as you pressed your lips against his. He stood still, surprised by your actions. There was no way that the girl of his dreams was kissing him.
Gar snapped out of his shock. His grip lowered to your hips and he finally started to kiss you back. Everything about this was perfect. The taste of your lips, the softness of your skin. He was completely blinded by you and your perfection.
You pulled away, completely out of breath but a smile on your lips. The linger of his touch resided on you and you wished for it never to go away. "I'm sorry," You whispered. "I shouldn't have... I couldn't go any longer without doing that," you changed your sentence.
"I'm glad you did," Gar grinned. You loved his smile, you always had. It seemed to be the only thing that would make you happy when you were feeling down. "Truth be told, I was avoiding you because I didn't know how much longer I could go without doing that too."
Gar kissed you again. The softness of his lips made you want to have them constantly on you. You wanted his kiss, his hold, you wanted him to love you. The happiness that filled your heart something that you hadn't felt in so long. He was your happiness, he had been since the day you met.
"Guess we better make up for lost time then."

CHAPTER 10:
"You look nice, Deku" Uraraka smiled, her hands held behind her back as she rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet in a childish manner, looking at her green haired friend. "Is there anyone in particular you're trying to impress?" she gave him a knowing look that Izuku stuttered and blushed to.
"No! O-of course not" he immediately denied and averted his eyes when that only seemed to make Uraraka's smirk widen. Izuku knew he was a terrible liar and Uraraka could be very scary sometimes. "But um, hypothetically speaking.. if I /were/ trying to impress someone- which I'm not- but hypothetically speaking do you think they'll.. you know. Be impressed? Hypothetically."
Uraraka looked her friend up and down. Izuku's fashion sense has definitely improved since the beginning of their first year. Both Tsuyu and herself had made sure to teach Deku and Todoroki a thing or two about dressing themselves since they were completely clueless sometimes. Midoriya was wearing brown, cuffed corduroy pants with a forest green oversized short sleeve button up, a lighter green long sleeve underneath that to create layers. The red shoes were never going away though and Uraraka gave up in trying to get him to wear another pair of shoes. He looked good and Uraraka noticed how his hair was a bit neater too so he obviously put a bit of extra effort into trying to style his curls. In fact, looking around the common room it seemed that Deku wasn't the only one who put a little extra effort into their appearance today. Half the boys there looked like they were going off to a party instead of a casual class outing. Even Iida looked like he was trying out a new hairstyle. No glasses either.
"Umm, Uraraka-san?" Izuku waved his hand in front of the girl's face to get her attention. She zoned out for a bit there and she blinked, turning to face him again.
"Oh, right! Well, /hypothetically speaking/ right?" she smiled and he nodded, "I think they'll be very impressed." Deku beamed and her eyes shifted to Todoroki who was just arriving downstairs. "Oh, look! There's Todoroki-kun. Let's go talk" she grabbed Deku's hand in hers and took him with her. He looked very good! Todoroki's aesthetic was more of a simplistic/classy style with neutral colors. This time he decided to switch it up and was wearing a white t-shirt with an unbuttoned, loose fitting pale blue and white striped dress shirt over that. He had black jeans and white sneakers too. He looked very good. "Oooo~ is there anyone /you're/ trying to impress, Todoroki-kun?" Ochako teased.
"Yes."
Ochako didn't expect such a direct answer but giggled anyway at her blunt friend. Deku on the other hand didn't find it as funny.
"Is Bakugou here yet?" Shoto changed the subject and looked around the common room but didn't spot the explosion quirk user anywhere. He felt a little disappointed.
"No, Kacchan isn't here. Neither is Kirishima-kun" Izuku really tried to keep the bitterness out of his tone. He knew that they were best friends but did they really have to be glued at the hip 24/7? Deku doesn't like the way he starts to feel when he thinks of those two together but he can't help it.
"Oh" Shoto mumbled. There was an awkward silence where no one said anything for a few seconds until Uraraka couldn't stand it and broke it.
"So how are you feeling, Todoroki-kun? Are you still tired or are you feeling a bit better from earlier?" Ochako questioned. That got Izuku's attention and he turned to Todoroki with a curious expression. Was he sick? Todoroki didn't mention anything to him today. He wondered why he didn't tell him.
"I feel better, thank you. I'm excited to be going out with my friends" he smiled briefly and Izuku returned it. After that things started to go back to normal as they talked about what stores they wanted to go to and if they had anything in particular they wanted to buy. The common room was filled with brief conversation before the 'ding' of the elevator was heard and everyone turned to look at a nervous Kirishima standing on the far opposite side of a bored looking Bakugou. Izuku felt a knot form in his throat and Todoroki felt his heart skip a beat, their faces heating up a little at what girl Kacchan was wearing. He looked good. Hell, even if he was in his normal body and wore that he'd look good.
"You're here!" Mina rushed forward to hug her two friends in a crushing hug which Kirishima gladly returned. The girls may or may not be feeling smug at how everyone reacted to seeing Bakugou. Yeah, they did that.
"I said I would go with you extras, didn't I? Now let go, pinky" Bakugou groaned. She smiled wide before stepping back.
"This'll be so much fun!" Mina jumped up and down.
"Everyone please form a single file line for attendance! As class president I must make sure everyone is accounted for before we vacate school grounds" Iida made sure to grab everyone's attention by speaking loud and clear as well as waving his arms about. Where he pulled the clipboard from no one knows but Iida started to check off names in the class roster to submit to Aizawa sensei once they come back in a few hours. "Alright. Everyone is here. We can go now" he nodded in confirmation.
The class had to take the bus to go to the mall so Iida stayed by the door until everyone was inside before going in himself. Bakugou was planning to sit with Kirishima but the redhead as soon as he was in the bus went and sat beside Sero instead. Katsuki was confused since they always sit together and even Sero was looking between the pair in confusion. "You don't mind, right Bakubro?" Kirishima awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. Bakugou just shrugged and moved on to find an empty seat to which Kirishima let out a breath he didn't even know he was holding.
"What was that?" Sero questioned once Bakugou was out of earshot.
"What was what?" Kirishima turned to him.
"That. You always sit with Bakugou so why all of a sudden did you decide to sit next to me? I don't mind but I was a little caught off guard, man. You know, you've been acting weird ever since the night we played games in my room. Is everything cool?" Sero had an idea of what was happening but he wanted to hear it from Kiri himself.
"Yeah, everything's good. I just need to sort some things out for myself first" he explained and Sero nodded, leaving it at that. Kirishima appreciated that about Sero. He knew if it was Mina or Kaminari they wouldn't stop pestering him about it. Kirishima just wanted some time to hopefully figure out why he was all of a sudden feeling so weird around Katsuki.
On the other end of the bus, towards the back, Bakugou found an empty seat. Everyone else seemed to be already sitting with someone else but he didn't really mind it. Once seated, Bakugou put his elbow up on the edge of the window and looked outside. He felt someone slightly tap his shoulder though and looked up to a shy Koda. 'May I sit here?' he signed and Bakugou raised an eyebrow. He rolled his eyes and signed back 'go for it' and Koda smiled a little, quickly sitting down beside Bakugou. Aizawa did mention that because of his quirk, he may experience hearing loss in the future if he didn't take the proper precautions so Bakugou has been taking JSL classes from Koda since the beginning of their second year and developed a somewhat mutual understanding with the guy. He really wasn't all that bad, just a little quiet. And while they weren't friends friends, Bakugou knew that if he ever needed a quiet place to study or just hang out for a bit without talking, he could go to Koda's room. The same went for Bakugou. If Koda ever wanted to spar or wanted pointers to help in improving his fighting skills, Bakugou is available.
Now that everyone had a seat, the bus began to move. The ride was going to take approximately fifteen to twenty minutes so he just wanted to use the break to relax. Bakugou could tell Koda wanted to say something based on the way he would look at him every few minutes but then look away though. "What is it?" he finally asked a little less than halfway into the trip and Koda shook his head. "I know you want to say something, now what is it?"
Koda looked hesitant at first but then signed 'how are you feeling?' with a sincere look. Maybe if it was someone else Bakugou would have told them off for getting into his business but Koda was someone who earned his respect and admiration throughout their time together in UA and who he saw as an equal.
"Why do you ask?" he asked instead, a bit defensive, and Koda responded by signing 'this is a big change and I was just wondering how you were doing.' Bakugou shrugged. "It isn't something I can't handle. Besides, today is the last day of the quirk so I should be back to normal by tomorrow morning" Bakugou mumbled, adding in a "thanks" as an afterthought. Honestly speaking, Koda has been the only one who's asked him how he felt about this whole quirk situation. The rest of his classmates all just seemed to be having fun with it and while he didn't mind, it was nice to be asked.
'You're always welcome to come hang out with me and my bunny if you ever need quiet time,' Koda offered. 'He told me he misses the angry blonde boy with the warm hands" he joked. Bakugou smirked a little with a "tch, sure whatever. Tell 'im I miss the furball too" leaving his lips. After that Bakugou and Koda fell into a comfortable silence where Bakugou closed his eyes to rest for the few minutes they had left on the bus ride.
Everyone else in class 3-A never thought they'd see the day where they all wished they were in Koda's place. The anivoice boy was sitting perfectly still so as to not wake the pretty blonde that had leaned his head on the other's shoulder sometime along the trip and was now sleeping peacefully on him.

All of your names [Katsuki Bakugou/Reader one-shot]
In the very beginning, there was the Asshole. To be honest, you didn't like him at first. You two would argue a lot about irrelevant stuff, and even though your friends always told you to let go, you couldn't bring yourself to listen. There was something very annoying about the way the Asshole carried himself. Something that made you want to bring him to the ground, to make him feel like a complete idiot.
It took a while, but you finally realized, that the Asshole was pretty hardworking and dedicated to everything he did. Once after an argument, you decided that you can't stand each other anymore, and you just have to fight. That was the first time you sparred with the Asshole. Since then, you trained together a few more times. You felt some kind of respect for him, and before you knew it, the two of you didn't yell at each other with such passion anymore. And that's how you met Bakugou.
Bakugou was... loud. Obnoxious. Angry. He annoyed you, but it was bearable. There were a few moments when you thought he was pretty okay, mostly when Kirishima was kind enough to explain his friend's behavior, so you wouldn't misunderstand. The first time the two of you talked without raising your voices, you discovered that there were some things you had in common. You started to turn your attention towards him some more and noticed he's a good student and a true hero at heart. It took a couple more small talks and some of Kirishima's encouragement, but gradually, Bakugou changed to Baku.
Now, Baku was fun. He was the type of person to tease his friends and laugh at them, to yell while playing games, and getting mad when he loses. It was easy for you to drag him in your little games, having the two of you compete at stuffing your faces with as many burgers as possible in 5 minutes, or betting on how many pencils each of you can hold with your face only. Baku would stand on your side when you argued with someone, and glare at people you didn't like. He never invited you anywhere, but always agreed on going out when you asked. And somewhere in between of those fun moments you shared, Baku became Katsuki.
At first, his name felt uncomfortable in your mouth. You always used it consciously, carefully studying his face as you did. At the time, you weren't exactly sure if he even noticed. He never commented on it, like it was nothing out of the ordinary, and soon, it became natural for you to call his first name. You noticed how Baku was much more distant than Katsuki was. Katsuki even showed you some of his good sides. It wasn't much — things like buying you a drink, even though you never asked, or teasing you in a playful, not offensive way. Sometimes, Katsuki would bump your shoulder with his while laughing, or pat your head after he finished teasing you to show you he didn't really mean any of those. He allowed you to see him frustrated and down, you knew when he had a good day and when something was wrong. He would text you first sometimes, just to nag about this and that (usually Deku), invite you for games or share a funny meme. It didn't take much for him to become Katsu.
There was no denying you liked Katsu. Sure, he had his moments, but he was good-natured, and it really seeped through at this point. He always noticed when you got a bad grade in a class and sometimes invite himself over to casually explain the topic to you. His tutoring was sassy and he got annoyed easily, but even though he yelled at you a lot, he had enough patience to continue until you got the topic right. Sometimes, he would ask you a question about an exercise he had troubles with and you would solve it together.
Katsu lets you win in video games sometimes. You always noticed because he didn't get angry afterward. He would just click his tongue and admit his defeat. From time to time he took a nap in your room or just hung out with you in silence. He scolded you (loudly and rudely) for wearing too little clothes when it got colder, and he would lend you his umbrella when it rained.
It was about then that Katsu started to call you by your first name. Katsu that called your first name was the Katsu you fell in love with. He was never kind nor gentle, but he made you feel hella special. He smiled at you with a genuine smile and laughed at your jokes. At the training, he would take you seriously, even though your quirk couldn't measure to his. He gave you some tips at what he thought could be improved and helped you to practice new moves. For your birthday he made you a huge cake, which he left in your room without a word before leaving. When you invited him over to eat it together, he declined at first, but you somehow managed to convince him to come.
That night, his lips tasted like chocolate cake, and it was probably the most addicting flavor you've ever tasted. His hand was shaky as it held yours, but his red eyes were steady and confident. During the next couple of weeks, you got to meet your honey.
Your honey was possessive. He would walk with his arm draped around your shoulders, glaring at anyone who dared to approach you. His satisfied smirk was often present, especially when you made a move to wrap your fingers around his sweaty ones. He was warm, always warmer than you, comfortable to snuggle into when it was cold. When you cuddled to him, he would rarely hug you back — sometimes he would just rest his arm on your back, or tip his head towards you, but you still enjoyed it. He always smelled like caramel and firecrackers, and you were surprised to discover that the combination weirdly fit. The two of you still play games and teased each other, but now it often ended with you making out.
And then you became his baby. It was a casual nickname he would drop from time to time. After you graduated and started living together, he would use it a lot more than before. “Baby, have you seen my shirt? Long sleeves, blue stripes, you know the one!” or “Babe! Fucking hurry up, we'll be late! I swear, next time I'm going alone!” or maybe “Baby? Why are you still up, it's so late! Shit, did I wake you up?”
After a long day at work, your honey would kick off his shoes and go straight to the couch. He would grab your knees, spread your legs and fall on top of you, burying his face in your stomach. He would sigh, close his eyes and just rest, as long as you let him. If you tried to speak, he would grunt, demanding you to “shut your goddamn mouth and let him die in peace.” It was tough, being a hero. Your schedules often didn't match, and sometimes you almost wouldn't see each other for a few days. But then, you came back in the middle of the night, to find your boyfriend sleeping soundly on your bed, face snuggled to your pillow, covers thrown to the side. You would kiss his temple and fix the sheets, and after a quick shower, you joined him in your bed. He didn't always wake up, but when he did, he always spooned you and mumbled a sleepy “welcome home, baby”.
“Yeah, I'm here,” you said, already drifting off to sleep. “Are you going to be here when I wake up?”
“No,” Katsu sighed, nosing at the skin behind your ear. You felt the huffs of his breath move your hair as he chuckled. “Will you be here when I come back?”
“Guess not...” you murmured, feeling disappointed.
“So we have only this moment now, huh?” He pulled you impossibly closer to his own body, and you felt him smile against your skin. “I'll take when I got then... But we're taking a week off from monday on.”
“Sounds like a plan,” you nodded, smiling, your consciousness slipping out of your mind. The last thing you registered was a small kiss being placed at your neck before you fell asleep.
Little did you know, that next week, your honey was about to become your fiance. But, that's another story, right?
