venture bros is such an insane show because there’s an entire episode about testicular torsion, one of the characters is straight up called Girl Hitler and the only joke is that she’s a girl who looks and talks like Hitler and then it throws you into the ocean when Rusty Venture the negligent borderline-if-not-entirely abusive father who powered a dream machine with little orphan boy souls says he sees so much of himself in his supposed Least Favorite Son that he wants to apologize for him even existing, and you can’t even recover from that because it only continuously gets worse from there
