"I ---" She pauses, unsure how to respond. Eyes of blue stare down at her pink sneakered feet. Some of the girls and boys in their class could be quite cruel. She's used to it, having dealt with the same taunts and physical abuse at her old school.

A deep sigh escapes from her lips. "I don't - don't want any trouble. B-Besides, if - if I ignore them --- they'll go away." At least, she hoped that would be the case.

Feet shift awkwardly as she stands before him. "People - they make fun of me - b-because of my voice. They - They think I sound weird."

Lenny sighs softly, as she sits on her knees in front of a tree, watching the black tom cat with worried blue eyes. He's crouched underneath the bench with his ears flat against his head and his eyes wide as he watches the world around him.

The park that they're in is already quite busy and loud. She doesn't know how she's going to get the scared cat home safely. It's going to be a struggle to carry him the whole way with this dumb cast on her arm. Bullies, oh how she hated them.

"I think, if I can get him to n-notice me, he'll be okay." she says. It's at this moment she wishes she'd brought along a cat carrier. Though, if she had, she realizes it may not have made things any easier.

"I j-just um, wish I knew how to get him home." Lenny motions towards the cast on her opposite arm.

“You, you want to know um, what br-brings me --- here?” she asks. Her lips form a frown. She’s uncomfortable with the question. Lenny was trying her hardest to forget the treatment she received there. She shifts from foot to foot awkwardly. Blue eyes look everywhere but him. “Uh, my, my last school --- I d-didn’t like it there.” she responds.

"Th-Thank you! Um, it's very, very n-nice to meet you too!" she exclaims. The short blonde walks alongside Tohru, greatful for the girl's help. If it wasn't for her, Lenny would've shown up for her first day late to class. That wasn't the type of attention she wanted right now. "Okay." Lenny says. She follows Tohru up the staircase, trying to keep up with her pace.

"Of course!" Tohru spoke reassuringly. After all, she was new, so it wasn't her fault for something like this to happen. The least she could do, as a fellow student, was help her along to where she needed to go. "I'm Honda, Tohru. It's nice to meet you!"

With the internal map of the school in her mind, she looked back behind her, before smiling and motioning to the other to follow her. "We can go over this way, it'll be quicker than the main staircase." Which was why she was always grateful that this school had three staircases, instead of one. Even if they don't tell new students about the ones on the sides, it's one of the first things she believed that students needed to know about.

The short blonde stands, blue eyes staring awkwardly at the door. Then, they glance back at her classmate. "Can, Can you --- Do you think --- you c-could get that door for me?" she asks. One arm is wrapped in a thick, white cast, which is covered in signatures. While her other arm, has a box underneath, pressed to the side of her body. The box is partially decorated, something she's working on for a class project.

"I, uh, - I've only got one hand and it's --- well, kind of occupied at the moment." Lenny stands awkwardly, shifting from foot to foot as she awaits an answer.

“B-Believing all the --- lies, lies that they’re telling you.” She sighs deeply, blue eyes stare down at the signature covered white cast. Almost all of the signatures are from family members. Lenny has yet to make any friends at this school and none of her classmates have asked to sign it yet.

Her classmates are starting to spread rumors about her and the cast she’s wearing. Some are saying she’s a dare devil and that’s how she broke it. While others claim she broke her arm on purpose for attention. Lenny is getting tired of everyone talking about ‘the new girl’ and just wants to be left alone.

She shifts in her seat, looking up at her ginger haired classmate. “I can’t, can’t wait to, to uh get this c-cast off. Um, then maybe, maybe ev-everyone will stop --- talking about me.” she says.

After she is certain the girl has gotten a good look at the paper, Lenny lets her left arm fall down to her side. The right arm has a sling around it, holding up the casted arm underneath.

She blinks appreciatively, a happy smile spreading across her soft lips. "Thank, Thank you. Um --- Can you, you p-please take me uh, there? I w-would um, appreciate it --- very, very much." she says.

“Be, be quiet. Don’t um, make a --- s-sound.” she whispers to the girl. Blue eyes are filled with worry as she stares at the black cat, wearing the red break away collar. He’s hiding underneath a park bench, looking frightened. Lenny points towards the bench where the cat is hiding. “Um, that cat --- over there --- uh, he’s mine and ---- I, I n-need to, to catch him. He’s not, not s-supposed to be outside.” she admits. The poor baby bolted out the door and later regretted his choices, it seems.

Blue eyes look up from the book she’s reading. The pink cast is still very much on her arm, but it won’t be long until she gets to take it off. Just a few more weeks and she’ll be free from this torture. “Oh, yeah. Um, I’m fine. My arm --- it’s b-been uh, like this for a w-while now.” she explains. 

Lenny smiles softly at her classmate. “Um, This th-thing --- I get to, uh, take it off soon.” She shifts in her seat, eying the book mark on her desk. How is she going to be able to grab it and keep her book in the right place? This is something she hasn’t thought about. “Uh, C-Could you --- possibly --- get the, the bookmark for me?” she asks.

She’s just moved here from out of town and is struggling to figure out where her classroom is.
