Felt like making something a little silly! A little different! Audio Transcription: And in that moment as his vision blurred and distorted, he wanted the taste of a gentle vanilla cake with buttercream, he wanted ribbons, he wanted tart strawberry rhubarb pie, he wanted soft white rabbits, he wanted freshly picked daffodils, and decorative cards addressed to his name in practiced calligraphy.
More than anything he wanted to be loved. To be held in a soft embrace by someone who cared, but was already long gone.
He'd been taught it was selfish to want what he had not yet earned, but he would soon be asleep with an inability to feel guilty over pettiness.
