Fic Writer’s Week: Day 1

So every comment I get makes me grin, so picking just a few favourites was hard, but here goes.

First chapter in, and this got me to get off my butt and remember my FFnet pw. I'm replaying ME1 for the umpteenth time on insanity, and I have to say, these were my thoughts exactly on my paragade run through. Even got my background selections and talents! (Even on my infiltrator, I selected throw, lol.) Will be going through trying to leave reviews on each chapter. I know reviews are awesome. :) Also, I like the exchange between Anderson and Nihlus. Wish we could have seen more of Nihlus in-game. I felt he was a very interesting character.

I have to say, this is one of the best (if not the best) ME fic in progress. Until finding this, I was starting to despair that the days of finding any new ME stories to read were behind me (unless you're in the market for het stuff, it's been slow going lately). Anyway, this has been an engrossing read so far, you've managed to take my least favourite game and really spice it up. I love the focus on Ashley, often unfairly maligned and written badly, she shines in this fic. Your Shepard is a proper marine, no-nonsense, tough to the core. I love her! The military realism sucks you in, making everything so vividly portrayed, come alive on the screen. I'm thoroughly looking forward to new chapters. Are you planning on continuing the rest of the trilogy?

Great introduction with the various soldiers arround Ashley, especially the stated differences in career paths. The action against the geth is filled with danger, blood and death. Feels like a real  battle, rather than game action for fun. Well done, all the military stuff fells grounded and realistic and draws me in. I certainly hope that you will continue and even finish this story.

Hahaha. This was great. Gotta love those embarrassing moments in relationships. (So long as its not happening to you.) But Lexi DOES have a point human/turian sex would be considered...lethal if not treated carefully. Still, seeing Sara flustered is amusing as hell.
