For anyone worried about the FurAffinity hack: Y'all don't need to panic and delete your FA's or anything. The only thing that was compromised was the domain name system (DNS). That in no way affects the actual stored server information.

This is basically the equivalent to that cartoon gag where someone sees an arrow sign pointing to a pile of treasure, and flips it to point instead to a rubbish dump. Or if someone were to replace the number for your local pizza place in the phone book with a butcher shop. People looking to call the pizza place would accidentally call the butcher shop, and people looking for treasure would accidentally be lead to a rubbish dump.

Both the treasure and rubbish dump are completely unaffected. Same with the pizza place and butcher shop. You are just being lead to the wrong server when you try to go to furaffinity.net.

Of course furries would exist in the UT universe. Have you seen Mew Mew Kissy Cutie? Sure, she may not be a truly furry design since she just has cat ears + a cat tail, but it shows that a human with animal features isn't beyond human invention. All you gotta do is push the animal features a bit more and boom! Furry design!

I've always had the HC that modern humans in UT are entirely unaware of the existence of monsters and magic outside of like. Pop culture and Halloween and myths and folktales, which changed and altered lots of details. The first war between humans and monsters happened so long ago that monsters became a myth to humans as the years passed. Along with monsters becoming myths, magic fell into antiquity before disappearing entirely from the human population. Essentially, the Surface is a sort of a reflection of our modern era, except perhaps a bit more futuristic since it's implied that Undertale is set in the future, with Chara having fallen into the Underground back in 201X, which is supposed to be "a long time ago" (anybody ready for the iPhone 86, which comes with a hologram projection feature that nobody uses because it sucks ass?).

But yeah. Back on topic: What happens to furries when monsters come to the Surface. Well, I imagine that the furry community experiences a massive upheaval. The discourse is insaaaaaaaaane. Is it insensitive to have a fursona that you present yourself as online? What about what type of sona you have (like if it's based off a monster or made to look less like an UT monster)? Does this make it more or less acceptable? You'll also have whatever conservative news outlet there is in the UT universe running think pieces about how kids are expressing a desire to turn into monsters by drawing themselves as like. An anthro bunny. God, these monsters are corrupting our youth, won't somebody think of the children???? You'll also have plenty of cases of disappointment from monsterfuckers when they find out that their werewolf boyfriend is actually pretty goofy instead of sexy and broody and isn't going to, um.

Anyways...

I think that for the most part, monsters would find furries pretty cool though. Like, yooooooo. You have a wolfsona with orange fur and neon bones? That's so cool! Can I make a humansona? (and, good lord, that has its own discourse).

I introduce to you. My 360 motion tail (base)

It isn’t carved down yet so pardon the shape lol. It’s made of larger foam discs attached with very small foam discs (all 1in thick) (it is. 34in long. It’s for a clouded leopard that’s normal) I wanted a super motion tail, but an issue of my last tail was that it strained the seams a lot when I had to move it upwards (to sit in chairs mostly - even popped a seam from it ^^;) so I wanted to make sure I had vertical motion on this one. I’m going to add to the top piece to make a hidden belt loop so it should stay pretty stable in the end!

Oh you're a furry??? That's fine like yeah it's a bit weird but it's FINE i just find furries creepy because i'm afraid of mascot suits. I find them so scary that i NEED to tell this to every single furry i ever meet. I for some reason never bring this up in other contexts where mascot suits are present, but if there are furries i just have to let everyone know that i find their fursuits uncanny. These two aren't my fursona, but two masks I have done that are kinda fursuits? Non-standard fursuits lmao. First ones my oc Harvest, a partial made from a JP T-Rex mask and scrap fabric. Second is my boy Sewer, made from papermache!!!

Commissions and $5 Headshots

hey! i havent had to time to make any of these digital because of work but I'm widening the scope my commissions!

I'm doing $5 headshots (full color, another $2 for shading & lighting). I'll also do half and full-body for roughly $10-$20. I take Venmo, PayPal, and Ko-fi

I need to save up to pay for top surgery and because of my class schedule, I can't work a lot of hours so any help would be massively appreciated :3
