It’s not like this website hasn’t got serious issues but if you were holding out for some holy grail of social media sites you’re going to be holding out for the rest of your life.

And yeah I wish porn was allowed and I wish there was a halfway functional search and I wish staff would do Anything At All about the bot problem (I really REALLY wish I’d stop getting followed by pornbots while posting nsfw art is still disallowed bc GOD it makes me angry. They killed so many artists and communities and left behind all the bots just trying to leech off us for google hits and I’m MAD, and I understand Apple backed them into a corner and I understand the difficulties with reinstating nsfw art and it doesn’t change the fact that I’m pissed and I wish they’d fought harder for the (frequently queer, disabled, and/or non-white) nsfw artists and sex workers who helped MAKE this platform into a place worth being). No, really, go look at it. You can actually still do that here. You can click back through my archive or even just type in random page numbers appended to my blog URL. You can find my posts from 2011 or 2015 or 2018. I mean, I might be embarrassed by some of it, I might regret you finding it, but not all of it. I dare to say not MOST of it. Certainly not all of the fan art, all of the fic and original stories, all of the videos and shitposts that I’ve shared bc they’ve made me laugh over the years.

I’m being overly sentimental, but as you pointed out, nonny, it’s been a decade. I’m entitled.

The point is this website’s done more good for me than bad.

I’m cozy here and it brings me art and makes me laugh and I’ve met and made friends here. There are people on here that I care about deeply. Not unlike real life, it is a highly imperfect place that has nonetheless become a home that brings me joy. Why on earth would I leave?
