One time I saw this girl advertising some smutty fic she wrote about a jjk character and there were literal minors in the comments thanking her like 😐 y’all some weirdos fr (1/2)

LMFAOOOO idk what the hell is up with tik tok bc the content is usually kinda okay but the vibes... fucking terrible. Idk like you guys are so awesome, understanding, and grateful here on tumblr but when fics are recommended anywhere else its always some weird comment cesspool of all the minors/inexperienced readers/weirdos (lmfao ur right) being like “THANK YOU!!1!11!!! IM GONAN GO READ THIS IN 0.2 SECONDS!!! YESS THIS WAS SO GOOD -gojospussycoghdrops” for fics that are usually pretty normal-tier.

like... you really dont need to advertise things on other apps and you really dont need to thank people for advertising them bruh... esp since most of the time *cough* authors dont want their stuff there anyway... and if people want recs, they can just go to the places where they’re actually posted and ask for them in a respectful and safer manner. its really just dumb to act or think otherwise. 

as for the wattpad-level writing (and i really appreciate your caution with this!!❤️)... its not even about the authors being bad writers, because thats totally fine.. it’s just often such that YOU CAN TELL when the authors are less experienced in life... and not even specifically sexually (because im a virgin and i still like to think that i know enough to be writing), just that they’ve probably read less fanfiction by others or don’t have enough basis to even write their own... and when that’s the case, they’re probably either too young to be writing NSFW or just don’t know their own community well enough (and therefore shouldnt be providing NSFW content for it AT ALL)... 

so i TOTALLY co-sign... it really is weird bruh... esp since now ppl on tik tok are getting bold and acting like they own tumblr. PLEASE!!!😩😩😩

(this is why i stopped taking recs on tik tok seriously anyway... most of them are either bad or shouldnt even be posted there. if theyre good, ill find them eventually!!!)
