• Like to think he's mid to late 30s

•Graying early mostly from stress from working and being a single dad, but genetics do play a small role in it

• Autistic + OCD

• He sounded like Sheldon Cooper when he was a kid. You can't convince me not

• Will do yearly upgrades/repairs on his prosthetics to remain 'well-made'.

• When #^*%^$&* Old friend died, he experienced a bunch of grief, guilt, and regret that he forgot to do his yearly upgrade, which made him spiral more since he didn't feel 'well-made'.

• During that time period, he made his son stay at a friend's house since he didn't trust himself and didn't want his son to see how 'unwell-made' he was at the time

• He goes golfing.

• Listens to Frank Sinatra a lot because it reminds him of his childhood

• He assumes he's straight, but isn't he's actually Bisexual and on the aroace spectrum

• has curly hair but likes to straighten it. On the rare occasion when he doesn't is when he's taking a small break from his work

• He accidentally played a part in it and blames himself every night.

•Emotionally neglects his son on accident due to how busy he tends to be

• He learned to play the piano when he was a kid since he vaugly remembered his mother playing it when he was a toddler

Some headcanons are more just,,, one off-ish well others have more,, explanation?? Listen, idk how to word it. Just bear with me

Joe 🍾

• He has Autism + OCD as well as insomnia. His OCD and insomnia are diagnosed while his autism remains undiagnosed

• He does try to treat his insomnia by doing certain things via: taking certain medication and trying to set a sleep schedule but often gets disturbed by his alcoholism (alcohol can affect sleep)

• the sweater Joe often wears is his comfort item and almost never takes it off unless it needs to be washed or repaired slightly. He feels some sort of calmness whenever he wears it (definitely not self projection)

• He's at least in his late 20s or early 30s in my view

• He's roommates with CD mainly because why not he's lonely anyway, and the apartment he used to live in was getting a cockroach infestation

• He sleeps on a mattress on the floor because he couldn't afford a bedframe at the time when he moved in with CD, but even when he could, he still didn't buy one because it would've been "too much of a change" for him

• He doesn't have bedsheets on the mattress. (Definitely not also self projection)

• Joe has tried getting sober in the past but always ended up relapsing after a certain amount of time

• has mixed feelings about CD.

• VERY touched starved

• hates going out but knows he has to, so he bares with it

• Joe has some tummy due to him drinking a bunch of alcohol and stuff (hehe....)

• Likes listening to Weird Al as well as Mitski while he's having a drunk breakdown

• tbh... he's half white...

Crazy Director 🛍

• Has some burn scars on his left hand up to his lower arm from an accident he faced during her high school years. It bothers her, and she doesn't know why... so that kinda explains the glove...

• Likes painting her nails whenever she can because he finds it fun

• Has an associate degree in arts

• in his late 20s

• will often do unhinged and potentially illegal things out of spite plus the thrill and pleasant feeling he gets from it (listen I need to put the 'Crazy' in 'Crazy Director' somehow because I don't see people doing it that often... let my girl be wild and free...)

• Has a problem of finding life boring and... doing some unsavory things to herself to find some sort of euphoria. Joe will often have to get her to stop, which he doesn't like for obvious reasons

• Has stretch marks

• is usually the one to buy Joe alcohol, sometimes out of his request, or against his will because, in most cases, CD can get wasted with his best-bud and use "I brought it" as an excuse to drink it with him

• has some abandonment issues due to mainly being alone through his entire life due to being seen as "weird" and a "freak"

• Most likely has ADHD but isn't getting diagnosed because she doesn't really see much of a point in getting a diagnosis if it's just to label her "weirdness"

• Really enjoys doing random crafts, especially with Joe or anyone she's managed to form a bond with

• Likes keeping his hair long since it's something he wasn't really able to do growing up, + he can style it however she wants without the paper bag covering it all

• I like to imagine her to be wayy more tan than how pale she is in the mod,,, (pale man begone!!!)

I do have some for Billy but it's 4 am and I have a dentist appointment in the morning so I'll definitely reblog this with my Billy headcanons in the future so sorry about that....

OKAY OKAY FINE FINE I'LL SAY SOME STUFF ABOUT IT!!! It won't be much but it'll atleast be some stuff....

Ahem...

I have no idea what to title this, but a small explanation(?)/hcs on why Joe and CD are what I headcanon them as:

Joe 🍾 (Non-binary in denial)

Joe has always been aware of lgbtq stuff since his late-teens, well, mainly about the gay, lesbian and bi stuff, never much about the gender stuff. Well, until he did some research, which stems from curiosity after hearing a couple of co-workers mention it, he thought, "alright then." And didn't really care, which would've been the case if he didn't do more digging and found out about some stuff... and started reflecting on his life, and how almost anytime someone would refer to him as a man, it stung. I mean, he doesn't mind being referred with/called masculine terms, but whenever it was specifically calling him a guy, it stung for some reason... ever since that, he's been questioning himself, but every time he asks himself, "Am I really a guy?" he always responds with: "Of course I am. I was born one!.." "I'm an adult, I shouldn't be worrying about stupid things like this!.." and stuff like that. (My) Joe has internalized transphobia and cissexism towards himself (due to some personal issues but thats another story for another day), which is why he always shuts down any thought that question if he's really a dude.

Crazy Director 🛍 (Genderqueer)

Well, CD knows what his gender identity is and doesn't mind saying it at all (unlike Joe), but why is she Genderqueer? Well, why not? That is literally her reasoning. Okay, okay, I'll say a bit more. CD didn't exactly feel like.. himself when identifying with his sex, like it was too boring and plain for him, so why not opt for something different? So he did. The thing is, other labels felt too specific or "restricting" for her, but genderqueer felt right since it wasn't that specific and had more leeway with it, so CD went with it. I know it's not that much of an explanation, but who cares? CD doesn't!
