Bodewhin Cauthon is basically Budget Egwene, so if you pick Mat you kinda get to have a mini-Egwene too. Or you could use Eldrin, who is a mini-Perrin or mini-Nyneave from the sound of it (claim to fame: stabbing a Trolloc with a boar-spear).

Some people have made fics where Rand has a sibling (usually female) that goes with the EF5 on their fun adventures. But like taking that idea, which OTHER character do you think would have a younger sibling that comes along for the ride.
