Why people are assuming the Jan 5 stuff is new animation OR EVEN Adventure-only related.

I suppose it's just the Wada-san tribute concert they announced recently which is on the same day they teased something to be dropping next year.

I'm kinda tired of this fandom panicking every time official accounts announce something, ngl. Can y'all try to be a little optimistic and also do not go and loathe on Adv'99 + 02 just because of the current decisions and stuff? I think it was already explained that Adv-to-Frontier gets more attention because it is the only four most casual people know about, and only the hardcore fanbase is following series by series, knowing every new digimon entry and even new material/mons + novels, comics etc.

For casuals, they only remember something about Tai Kamiya and Agumon and thaaats all. They have to put a ton of post-Frontier series in all-series material or bundles BECAUSE this is the only solution to keep giving merch and awareness of their existence.

Seriously, not everyone managed to watch every series, every movie, to read every manga/comics, or to play every game as us. I know people who never watched even Frontier because their countries never aired it there! And you can and should be considered a digimon fan even if you didn't know all of the entire franchise's entries and stuff. If anyone gatekeeps you, ignore them and block them please.

If you want your favorites to get acknowledge and more fans, and then politely poke Toei-Bandai digimon producers and such -- promote it. show them those series, do not dunk on the series you don't like. try to help by giving views on official streaming platforms, or buying physical releases, etc. That's how you make them realize you exist and that you need more of your favorite series.

Currently, only Europe has full access to all digimon series from the past and the recent ones via Crunchyroll. We should make noise and politely show them we want it in more regions, more places, etc.

Accessibility to the series is the FIRST and most IMPORTANT step to get more post-Frontier stuff imo. Fight for it, please.

Btw they seem to be trying another approach to solve this issue as well, so they definitely are well aware of the problem and are trying to take measures.
