You've absolutely got to love how my mother's supposed good intentions die the second you don't go along with her little happy families script:

Me, utterly fed up with this routine of her verbally abusing me and coming in with a non apology several hours later: "What "us"? I told you you've been ignoring me and that I have some really severe issues going on, you ignored those issues again and yelled at me for supposedly treating you like shit, I quite possibly broke my hand and you yelled more because what if I'd broken the door, and I've been crying for 4 hours without you checking in on me despite knowing I'm injured and on red alert (a term my therapists use when my chronic suicidal ideation becomes unmanageable by myself)"

"WELL MESSAGE RECEIVED LOUD AND CLEAR 😡 SILLY ME, THINKING YOU WANTED TO FIX ANYTHING 😡 YOU'RE NOT CRYING ANYMORE SO GLAD TO SEE YOU'RE BETTER!!!" *slams door*
