Ruined!
Pairing: dbf!Joel x Reader
Summary: Joel is an old man who struggles to cum sometimes. Youâve got time to kill and a tight hole to fill.
Warnings: 18+. Peepaw brainrot + a dash of anorgasmia. Unprotected p-in-v, cockwarming, age gap, daddy kink.
Note: Finals are whooping my ass left & right. This is a quickie.
Word count: 1.2k | Part of the Waiting Game âverse
Surely he was hurting you now.
Joel Miller had a kink for many, many fun activities, but splitting a sweet young thing like you over his cock to the point you were almost in tears was just not one of them.
At the same time your poor, surely-bruised walls pulsed around his hardened length, he felt a pang of guilt. His balls were pressed against your ass like two lead weights, soaked with the remains of your third release, and his mind was at war with itselfâkeep fucking you like this? Pull out and offer his sincerest apologies for not being able to cum? A boy your age wouldâve never had you waiting around like that, aching around his cock, much less begging for something as simple as a cumshot.
He decided to go straight to the source. Leaning over your prone body on the bed before him, he was careful not to rut his hips or jostle his dick around too much.
Joel pressed a hot, stubbled kiss to your cheek, then:
ââSâit too much, baby? She need a break, maybe?â
Joel thumbed at that space where your body ended and his began and nearly lost his mind to the pearly-white slick that had accumulated with time. Two hours time, he had to remind himself while you moaned and writhed and bucked your ass back. Your cunt was choking him.
Crying, too.
Your eyes flew open the moment his words reached you.
âYou kiddinâ me, Miller?! I could do this shit all day.â
Sometimes Joel forgot you were only in your twenties. Really, the thought only occasionally crossed his mind in moments like theseâor when your father, his best friend, happened to bring you upâbut when it did, it hit him hard. You were young. Lively. Surely far too spry and full of life to be messing around with a man as old as him.
Joelâs guilt ran almost commensurate with his pleasure when he felt you anchor your feet on the bed and start to fuck yourself back and forth over his still-throbbing dick.
Almost.
He planted a hand beside your head and grinned. He let you fuck him. Felt you pull off, crawl up the bed a little, then beckon him back to your body, where your ass was now pointing up and your back was arched in invitation.
Almost.
âYou know I canât sleep without your cum inside me.â
And you made a point to spread your knees and look behind you with a smile as sweet as Miloâs tea, fingers drumming a beat against the bedspread in anticipation.
âYou do wanna fill me up, donât you, daddy?â you teased.
Yeah, no. The guilt was gone. Joel could worry about being a depraved old man when he was done cumming.
Then he was back inside you, driving his hips until every last inch of him was wrapped snug within your wet and velvety embrace, and he sighed. A real protracted one, like the kind he was liable to exhale after climbing two flights of stairs, or else just hoisting himself off the sofa. Or lifting you in his arms and fucking you hard against the hood of his Bronco. Any time. Any place. You were kind enough to oblige him with the best cardio of his life, so the least Joel could do now was make you cum again.
He snatched your hands up in one of his own and placed your wrists at the base of your spine. With his other, free set of fingers he took to rubbing your clit gently.
âSON OF Aââ
ââgood girl.â
You let out a bloodcurdling scream into your pillow and secretly hoped this manâs dick would never deflate again. Not with the way he was sawing his thing back and forth and dragging you to the edge, circling your clit like you were the single most precious thing in the world to him.
âOh, sweet pea, I didnât mean to make you cry.â
Like he could feel the tears staining the cushion himself.
âMmrooonme,â you cried into it, voice garbled by cotton.
âWhatâsâat, honey? Canât hear ya.â
Joel then bent at the waist, pretending to be leaning in to hear you better, when really he knew heâd be digging in your guts with that big, bulbous head of his and making you squeal again. Hands still held captive behind you, you inched your chin back on the pillow so your moans could be heard even louder while Joel sped up.
âYouâ ruined me,â you repeated. Now clear as ever.
Joel tried to hide his smile and glanced down between your body and his. Then, while his ring finger joined the other two to make their tight, light circles, he returned,
âRuined? Pussy feels just fine tâme.â
Youâd kill him if he wasnât so good at this. You turned your head more to meet his eyes from the corner of yours.
âNo. Ruined me. For anyone else.â
Probably forever.
âGood.â
You knew he liked it that way.
You saw it in his eyes. Felt it in his touch. The hefty, broad, and greying Joel Miller had been loafing around on this earth long enough to know how to claim what was his. When his hips knocked yours to lay you flat on the bed, you already knew what was coming next.
First, his arms came to rest on either side of your body.
âShit,â you whimpered.
Next, his lips went trailing down to your ear.
âJust a little more, sugarâthatâs it,â he murmured while his hips sank in, and you felt that big, delicious stretch.
Then he released your hands so they were free to squeeze the sheets, and when they did, his moved over themâlacing his fingers through your ownâand his lips pressed a kiss to your jaw. He held you in a tender grasp. His breath was hot on your neck, and the whole of his body was blanketing yours. Joel knew you liked it like that, which is why he made sure not to leave an inch of space in between. He was grunting, rutting, holding you close while his cock drilled a maddening pace inside you.
âYou ruined me too, yâknow,â he mumbled into your skin.
His nose was flush with the side of your cheek, nudging inward. Begging you to turn your head just a little more so he could kiss you. Weak as you were, you obliged.
And you moaned against that grey, stubbled chin of his when the thrusts above you had your cunt grinding the bed, rubbing that soft and helpless nub on the sheets.
âCâmonâ let daddy have it,â he growled, âLet daddy have it and make it his, huh? That okay by you, baby?â
It was.
More than okay, as confirmed by the orgasm that tore through your body moments later while your teeth sank into the flesh of Joelâs lower lip and your cunt clenched and soaked over him whole. Joel wedged his tongue in your mouth and fucked you through it. His broad and callused hands were like iron around your own, holding you tight and keeping you still amidst a maelstrom of pleasure that combed over your every last nerve.
He licked into your mouth. Licked over it. Took the sick and distinct pleasure of knowing no one but him got to see you like this, with your jaw hanging slack and your eyes rolling back and your whines repeating quietly, âDaddydaddypleasedaddyfuckohfuckdontstop.â
Maybe ruined wasnât such a bad thing to be at all.

âSHALL WE RESUME, MY LADY?â
tags: heianera!sukuna, trueform!sukuna x fem!reader, kissing, servants are bullies :(, BLOOD + KILLING, smut-ish (?), ANGST, readers called little one, my lady, my queen, sukuna lovessss reader but doesnât wanna show it.
w.c: 1.8k
a/n:ITS BEEN LONG SINCE I WROTE PART 3 FOR SUKUNAAA, so pls read (part 1 + part 2) to understand this :p (or donât đ)
-part 1 was my first ever story so pls donât mind the terrible writing đ¤
+ likes and reblogs are appreciative!!
for weeks now, since your intimate encounter with sukuna in his chambers, his words have echoed relentlessly in your mind:
âyou belong to me, mind, body, and soul.â
unable to shake his haunting assertion, you find yourself lost in a fog during your duties, drawing the kingâs scorn for your clumsinessâpathetic, he silently judges.
youâve been desperately trying to avoid sukuna, feeling his ominous presence lurking near the servantsâ quarters, dangerously close to your room. each night, you pretend to be asleep, hoping he wonât enter.
uraume and the other servants and concubines have noticed your distraction, their whispers and spiteful glances intensifying your growing distress.
just as youâre lost in your thoughts, walking towards the grand kitchen, you feel yourself being harshly pushedânearly losing your balance. you turn to face the two brunettes who always accompany sukuna in his chambers.
âlook at her,â one sneers, her voice dripping with contempt. âshe looks even more pitiful than usual. youâd think sheâd try harder, especially with tomorrowâs annual gift-giving ceremony.â
your heart drops, and you feel the blood drain from your face as the realization hits youâyou had completely forgotten about it. shit.
the other brunette catches your expression and smirks, leaning closer.
âoh, you did not know?â she mocks, her eyes glinting with malicious pleasure. âdid you truly forget? lost in your own little world? pathetic. do not think sukuna-sama has not noticed your incompetence. if i were you, i would be prepared to face his wrath tomorrow.â
before you can respond, the brunettes walk away, laughing cruelly amongst themselves. fear grips you as you stand there, contemplating the consequences of your forgetfulness. this time, he might seek to end my life.
sukuna spared your life once before, but now? youâve truly done it.
⨯. âşÂ âŚÂ âšÂ . *
morning arrives, finding you sleepless and anxious, having spent the night wrestling with decisions on what gift would appease the king of curses. regret gnaws at youâyou could have been better prepared.
if only you had listened to uraumeâs instructions, you wouldnât be scrambling now to please sukuna.
a loud groan escapes you, not just from lacking a suitable offering but from the impending threat of losing your life in front of everyone.
your thoughts shatter as your door creaks open. uraume enters, carrying a basket laden with ceremonial attire.
âsukuna-sama will return soon from his mission,â uraume states matter-of-factly, approaching your bedside and handing you the basket. your gaze fixes on the black and gold kimono. âin the meantime, prepare your gift for our king,â they remind you, prompting your heart to skip a beat. you nod gratefully as uraume exits the room.
you linger, captivated by the elegance of the wooden basket. slowly, an idea begins to take shape.
i hope this idea will workâŚ
⨯. âşÂ âŚÂ âšÂ . *
you hurriedly slip into the black and gold kimono uraume handed you, the fabric draping elegantly over your curves as you smooth out its silk folds.
grabbing the basket, you rush out of your room, navigating through the crowded hallways filled with servants, concubines, and guards all preparing to present their gifts to the king.
anxiety grips you as the chatter rises, signaling the ceremony may have already begun. finally reaching the garden, you drop to your knees, swiftly gathering orchids, red camellias, and wisterias.
heart pounding, you carefully arrange the brightly coloured flowers in the basket, leaving space for more. glancing around the vast garden for inspiration, you freeze as you spot a familiar figure in the distance, surrounded by guards and soldiers.
shit.
your pulse quickens as sukuna approaches the estate. you force yourself to calm down, needing clarity to finish your task.
turning to the fruit garden, you ignore the dirt on your kimono as you hurriedly gather peaches, oranges, and pomegranates from the trees, arranging them neatly in the basket.
with your last-minute gift finally perfected, you hope he will at least appreciate the effort. as cheers and applause erupt, signaling sukunaâs arrival, you hasten back to join the line of gift-givers, heart still racing with fear.
⨯. âşÂ âŚÂ âšÂ . *
the ceremony unfolds in a chamber unfamiliar to you, far larger than sukunaâs usual domain, filled with hundreds and hundreds of servants seated on comfortable cushions, rows of expectant faces awaiting the ceremonyâs commencement.
as you wait nervously, you glance around at the lavish offerings others have broughtâpaintings, gleaming gold jewelry, fine silk robes, ancient artifacts, perfumes, and oils. in contrast, your basket of fruits and flowers seems painfully simple.
whispers and snickers ripple through the crowd, directed at your low-value gift, almost insulting to the king, as the laughter grew louder and more pointed. the embarrassment increases, now overwhelming you.
âsilence.â
his voice cuts through the room like thunder, instantly quieting the chatter as all heads bow. only you remain defiantly gazing at sukuna from his elevated throne. he looks magnificent, his towering frame draped in a dark cotton robe that accentuates his scarlet eyesâthose unsettling eyes that draw you in despite your fear.
âdo you consider yourself more worthy than others to not bow?â
his voice pierces through you, shocking you out of your thoughts. you hadnât realized you were staring at him so openly. a nearby servant nudges your head down forcefully, a silent command to acknowledge sukunaâs authority.
uraume then signals the first row to approach sukuna with their gifts. as he settles into his throne, one of his lower eye fixates on you with a chilling intensity, reminding you of the difference of ground upon which you stand.
the two brunettes, who supposedly despised you, were the first to present their gifts. all eyes watched as they offered lavish amounts of gold and diamonds to sukuna. you couldnât help but notice the satisfaction that spread across his face, a subtle amusement evident as he casually placed the gift with one of lower arms behind him.
they took their places on either side of his throne, making way for the next in line. as the line shortened, your turn approached rapidly.
you watched with nervous anticipation as sukuna accepted one of the servants giftsâ the beautifully sculpted artifacts and golden treasuresâ
slash!
the servantâs head was cleanly severed, a loud thud echoing through the room. gasps filled the air as the shock spread through the assembled crowd. some of the seasoned servants were used to sukunaâs impulsive acts, but this was the first time you had witnessed such brutality. blood splattered across his face, yet he remained unfazed, awaiting the next offerings.
you covered your mouth, stifling a scream of horror. the fear of becoming the next victim intensified as you compared your gift to the high valued gift he had just received.
how could he appreciate your offering if he did not enjoy the artifacts?
you were on edge, continuously hearing numerous slash and thuds that kept racing your heart. his gaze seemed to linger on you, intensifying your dread.
unaware that it was your turn next, you suddenly found yourself on the elevated floor, your gift clearly visible to all below. laughter erupted among the watching servants, their anticipation of your downfall.
you felt all four of his eyes fixated on you, observing your trembling form, your eyes flickering nervously as you struggled to stay composed. stepping cautiously over a puddle of blood, you nervously approached his throne.
with trembling hands, you presented the basket of flowers and fruits. below, the two brunettes knelt, their mocking laughter ringing in your ears.
sukuna silently observed the basket, his large hands delicately holding the tiny fruits. he plucked out peaches, pomegranates, and oranges with two hands while the other two hands carefully examined the flowers, bringing them to his nose to inhale their earthly fragrance. then, to your surprise, sukunaâs lips curled into a mischievous smile.
âlittle one,â he said in a low velvety voice that sent shivers down your spine. âyou surprise me.âÂ
the crowd exchanged puzzled glances, uncertain of how to interpret sukunaâs unexpected reaction. the two kneeling servants looked up at sukuna in disbelief, their faces turning pale as they realized their own gifts, despite their value, had not elicited such a response.
sukuna carefully placed everything back into the basket, then lifted a ripe peach to his lips. his intense gaze locked onto yours as he took a deliberate bite, savouring the sweetness. loudly humming at the sweet taste.
unexpectedly, two of sukunaâs free hands reached out and gently grabbed your waist. you squealed in surprise at the sudden contact as sukuna swiftly spun you around, placing you on his lap with your back is against his chest. his third hand delicately tilted your chin, looking up towards him.
ââkunaâŚâ you began, mindlessly calling him by a forbidden nickname. but his lips cut off your words in a hungry kiss. the taste of peach lingered on his lips, blending with the sweet intensity of the moment. his kiss was fierce, brimming with a raw passion.
sukunaâs large hand snakes up to the crevice of your neck, and to your surprise, another mouth formed on his hand, trailing down to suck and kiss a sensitive spot on your neck. a soft moan escaped your lips, muffled by his kiss, and he grinned at your reaction.
the brunettes stared up at the two of you with utter jealousy, never having received such intimacy from their king. the entire room gaped in shock; they had never witnessed the king of curses succumb so readily to a mere servant.
sukuna then pulls away, leaving you dizzy from the closeness. his presence seems to envelop you, making you feel intoxicated by his mere touch. with a gentle touch, sukuna adjusts your slouched posture, his hands holding you firmly against his broad chest. leaning down, he kisses your ear softly.
âyou will judge which gift is worthy,â he begins, his closeness making your head spin even more. âif anything displeases you, I will take care of it,â he murmurs, hinting at even more slashes. another hand snaking up to your neck, softly applying pressure to restore your stability.
if anything you feel a rush of arousal.
âi will obey your every command, my queen. i am yours to command,â he declares softly, causing you to whimper in response. gasps fill the room as they witness the king of curses submitting himself to you.
âshall we resume, my lady?â

Other Worlds
Azriel x reader
Synopsis: Nesta accidentally pulls you from our realm into theirs and a certain Spymaster can't help but be enamoured.
Original Request: "So I was wondering if you could do like Reader is from the modern world but ends up in the ACOTAR world, and ends up like falling in love with one of batboys."
Warnings: Fluff, mentions of cuts from a fall, my silly wordplay
A/N: I loved writing this, it really had me in my silly sense of humor (at one point Azriel is jealous because he thinks Xanax is a person) and just like also so happy to have written my first request! I hope you like it Anon and tolerate my silliness.
------------------------------------------------------------------
âDo you think sheâs dead?â
âHard to say, you fall that height and would expect itâ Nesta gently rocked the body back and forth with the sole of her shoe and you groaned.
âThis is exactly why you shouldnât practice without Amren Nestaâ Feyre bit out.
âAnd how was I supposed to know that a human would fall out of the sky? And besides, I did catch her before she hit the groundâ Feyre gave a huff to her sisterâs bored tone.Â
âBut not before all the trees Nestaâ
âDetails, detailsâ
âRhys is gonna kill you, we have to move her before he finds outâ Feyre got level with your marbling body, sticks and leaves sticking out of your hair from your fall through the canopy above. Nesta folded her arms across her chest in protest as Feyre rolled you onto your back, a deep whimper escaping your throat.
âWell sheâs not deadâ
âFor nowâ Nesta raised an amused eyebrow before rolling her eyes and squatting to lift your feet as Feyre caught your shoulders with her own disapproving look.Â
âHer clothes are so odd, is it continent fashion?â
âHard to say, the material on her legs is soâŚdense?â Nesta replied, a thumb rolling over the cuff of your jeans, your Doc Marten burying into her sternum.
The two sisters carried your weak body through the hillside towards the cabin they had retreated to for a break from the Illyrians. They reached the humble home after a small uphill climb in the Winter air and gently placed you down on the couch again. The two stood then at the foot of the couch, unsure of what to do next with their new house guest, a thud from outside followed by a swear interrupting their thoughts.Â
âShit it's Azriel with the food supplies you forgotâ
âYou forgotâ Feyre returned
âWhatever, here help me cover herâ The two sisters sheathed you in a thick woollen blanket as Azriel pushed through the door causing the females to shoot straight up, standing shoulder to shoulder to try to hide you behind them.Â
âHey, I dropped a bottle of liquor on the path sor- what are you two doing?â he looked suspiciously at the two, plopping the crate of food down by the mouth of the door.Â
âNothing!â their heads snapped to one another at the same time, cursing their simultaneous reply.Â
âYou two have the same look on your face that Cassian had when he was trying to hide the blood ruby he got from Summer Court after his experiment with arsonâ he gave a laugh that turned nervous when the females didnât do the same, another almost panicked glance shared between them.Â
âWell if thatâs all Az, thanks for comingâ Feyre made a quick movement to Azriel, catching his shoulders and turning him back towards the door, Nesta taking a wide stance to try to obscure more of you.Â
âFucking hellâ your voice rattled out in pain as you pushed to sit up, the wool sinking down to your lap as your heavy hand found your bleeding head. Azrielâs eyes grew to nearly the width of his skull as he looked frantically between Nesta and Feyre.Â
âShe did it!â they said in unison again, pointing to one another.Â
âOh Rhys is going to kill youâ he whispered angrily, moving to the couch as Nesta sidestepped, throwing an anxious look at Feyre.
âWhe-re the fuck a-m I? What happ-ened?â your hand traced through your thick hair, branches catching in the locks. You squeezed your eyes together tightly, trying to bring the cozy cabin into focus before swinging your legs to the ground and supporting your weight with one arm. Your movement went entirely still as you looked up to find the three members of the Night Court staring at you with matching bewilderment.Â
âAm-am I dead?â Your stare landed on Azrielâs wings, conclusions forming quickly.
âNo unfortunately notâ Feyre elbowed Nesta into the ribs as Azriel analysed your whole figure with his hazel eyes, his shadows swirled around his feet until they wrapped around yours. Your shriek of pure terror caused them to dash back to their master.Â
âYou're okay!â Azriel tried but it was too late, you were in full panic mode, your system shutting down in utter distress until you felt your blood pressure hit the soles of your feet after hitting the ceiling, sending you into a loss of consciousness.Â
âNice going you big bat, you killed herâ Azriel gave a dirty look towards Nesta, her eyes rolling for the thousandth time that day.Â
âSend for Madja-â
â-Rhys will kill Nesta for thisâ
âWell I think her little magic trick will die without herâ Feyre folded her arms into her chest, weighing up the options.Â
âWe could give her the tonic that's here, let her heal without everyone gawking at her at home. Iâll go back with Nesta and explain, by the time weâre here again perhaps sheâll be healed and Amren will be home from her travels and can send her backâÂ
âAnd am I supposed to play healer Feyre?â
âWell you have more experience with healing because of the battlefield than us and besides, Nesta isnât known for her bedside mannerâ Azriel sighed before rubbing a hand across his face at Feyreâs logic, she showed him how you got here in his head to help her point.
âOkay fine, go but if she dies, Iâm not to blameâ They nodded in agreement, taking another look at your floppy body before heading for the door with their things, kicking the box of supplies out of the way.Â
Azriel lifted your legs slowly back onto the couch before fetching a dish full of mountain water and healing tonic. He hovered the cloth over one of your large gashes that had cut straight through your straight-leg jeans. He looked over your body, unable to hide his curiosity towards the university logo decorating your sweatshirt, the deep purple colouring at the very ends of your hair as well as the multiple pieces of metal piercing through your ear's cartilage. Despite the series of cuts and bruises generously coating you, Azriel believed you might be the most beautiful creature he had ever seen and you were entirely out for the count.Â
He sighed, dropping the cloth back into the dish and going to make tea with another healing concoction. He rolled his shoulders back and tucked his wings in as tight as possible to minimise their appearance before gently tapping your shoulder to bring you around. When that didnât work, he fetched one of Cassianâs training boots and ran it beneath your nose, you stirred immediately. You went to shoot up in shock, his strong steady hand, gently pressing you back down.Â
âYouâre okay, youâŚyou just fell but youâre okay.â he said as softly as possible, the ease of his voice unable to settle the rising worry across your face.Â
âI-I fell?â he gave you a small nod, not entirely a lie he thought to himself.Â
âFucking hell my head-â you once again ran your hands down your face, the dry blood slightly flaking in the movement â-do you have any paracetamol or something?â
âPara-what-almol?â Azrielâs eyebrow raised in question before he reached for the tea he made for you from the small table behind him. You removed your hands from your face and looked towards the squatting Illyrian, taking in the beautiful male in front of you, pain being replaced by embarrassment. You pushed up despite his disapproval look, returning to the same position you were in before you fainted.
âSorry, I should-I should go? EmmâŚwhere are we?âÂ
âThis is Velarisâ
âVelentia?! How did I get here?!â You shot to your feet in surprise, the blood rushing and sending you shakenly back to the soft fabric almost as quickly.Â
âNo, Iâm not sure where that is but youâre not there, here take thisâ he passed the cup with a half laugh and you looked down unconvinced.Â
âNo thanks man, not here to be poisonedâ Azriel scoffed in slight offense as he watched you wince to put it back on the small table. You look down at your freshly ripped jeans, your fingers tracing the fresh wounds.Â
âIâm Azrielâ His voice brought your eyes back to him as he passed you the soaked cloth, allowing you to run it over the gashes.Â
âYNâ You gave a small smile back, fighting the singe of the elixir.Â
âYN? Thatâs an odd nameâ
âYou say that as if thereâs an Azriel at every petrol station in townâ You half laugh, more questions entering Azrielâs head than answers. Azriel rose to his feet and headed into the kitchen with the abandoned groceries as you finished with your leg, starting on your forehead.Â
âNo paper here or something?â Azriel looked towards you as you took the cabin in in all its glory, Feyreâs artwork the object of your marvelling.Â
âTheyâre Feyreâs, she was here earlier. She went a bit mad up here when she found out Rhysand was her mateâ
âMate? Oh sheâs like Australian?â
âWhat? You speak in riddlesâ he laughed, joining your side on the couch with his own cup of tea. You looked at it with an air of hunger, not unnoticed by the Spymaster, he looked from the cup to your face.Â
âYou can drink it YN, itâs not poisoned, here look Iâll take a sipâ You watched him take a taste before offering it back to you where you took it from him, its fresh floral taste having an almost reviving effect, you drank it almost one gulp.Â
âNow, Iâm afraid you canât go home just y-â
âFuck I knew it! Whatâs in this tea?! Iâm being kidnapped!â You shot towards the door, almost knocking the dish of water all over the floor, sending Azriel swearing. You reached your exit and with a wave of his hand, Azriel locked it from the inside.
âYN, no one is going to hurt you, you just, this is going to be hard to explain, one of myâŚfriends brought you here by accidentâ You still tried to pull on the knob of the door, glancing from it to Azriel as he stood to close the distance.
âStay back! I know self-defence!â Azriel couldnât hold his laugh at the small human girl before him threateningly looking at him. He went to catch your arm softly, only for you to send your heavy-booted Doc straight into his instep, followed by the base of your palm up and into his nose, the shock of your sudden movement catching him off guard. He groaned slightly reaching for his nose as it bled, missing your hand reaching for the keys in your pocket and the mace on the keychain. Azriel roared at the feeling of the spray of chemicals burning into his eyes, sending him onto the floor writhing in pain.
âFuck! Fine! Die in the snow!â He shouted out, waving his hand and releasing the door. You hardly heard him, whipping the door back as the now night air lashed in near-freezing gails of icy snow. You fought the tornado of air as you put the oak door between you and it, sliding down the wood to the ground, your body screaming in pain still from the fall. Azriel sat up, still blinking hard to clear the burning liquid.Â
âAnd you thought Iâd be the one to use poisonâ A breathy laugh left him as his red eyes watered and you found yourself matching his smile.
âI promise I wonât kill you, if you donât kill meâ he gave you a genuine look and for some reason you felt such a wave of trust hit you. You agreed, too tired to run from him or face the snow and you rolled your head along the door before looking back at the Illyrian, tracing your eyes along his linen shirt and leather pants
âAre you in a motorbike gang or something?â
âGods I hope you start making sense soonâ he pushed up from the ground, doing his best to not untuck his wings for balance. You looked up at him and reluctantly took the hand he offered, noting the deep scaring covering them like burls on a tree. He followed your eyes to his hands before he gingerly took them back to replace them across his still-stinging eyes. Azriel threw himself back down on the couch and you followed suit.
âIâm sorry about the-â you gestured to your own eyes and he gave a small laugh.
âItâs okay, Iâm impressed a human would have such speed, to be honestâ
âHuman? And what are you a fish?âÂ
âNoâ he didnât return your laughing tone, only reaching for your disregarded cloth and placing it over his eyes. Your hand ran down the side of your jeans until you retrieved your phone, the screen fully destroyed from your dance with the trees.Â
âGreatâ you sighed, throwing it down on the table, Azriel watching the action.Â
âNesta couldnât save your mirror from the fall?â
âNesta? Rhysand? Azriel? No one called like Dave around here?âÂ
âNot really the fashion in Prythianâ he smiled.
âPrythian? Like from the children's stories?â you chuckled at him.
âNo, Prythian like the realmâ he tossed the cloth back into the dish, the red in his eyes subsiding.Â
âMy mom used to tell me stories about Prythian and these like great bat boy warriors with these really big-big-winâŚâ you trailed off as you looked to see the shape of Azrielâs wings over his shoulder.Â
âReally big? Well, thanks for the flatteryâ He laughed aloud as your face greyed.Â
âFuck, itâs happened, studying for my physics final has finally driven me insane, this is all in my head, a stress-induced dreamâ Azriel reached to your thigh and gave you a gentle pinch following your matter-of-fact speech, causing you to flinch a little.
âOkay so not a dreamâŚâ
âNot a dream, my brotherâs lovely ma-wifeâs sister, pulled you through a sort of rip in the realm and landed you hereâŚnot very carefully might I addâ He said softly so as to not have you black out again, you nodded very very slowly to his words. You faced away from him, fixing your stare on the smashed phone, you thought of your physics lectures. The theories of tears in the fabric of time being possible, the possibility of alternative realities, the possibility of unexplored realms before settling finally that this wasnât a possibility, this was a reality.Â
âSo, okay, right-â you bit your lip, working through the thought, Azriel trying to push the shiver down his spine away at that action â-okay cool, right, so Iâm gonna need like an excuse note or something for the exam and then, right, cool, Xanax maybeâ
âIs Xanax a friend of yours who can help?â Your head shot towards Azriel at his genuine question and you let a roar of laughter leave you.Â
âDefinitely although I donât think theyâre here somehowâ you offered with a smirk, Azriel feeling a weird sense of jealousy at not being the object of this smile.Â
âWell, weâll make do and try to get you homeâ You nodded sheepishly to him.
âDo you not want to go home YN? You seemed pretty eager when you tried to break my nose earlierâ he smiled and you gently knocked into his shoulder playfully.Â
âI meanâŚIâm not in a rush to get back to the testâÂ
âOkay well, it will be a day or two before my friends are back and Rhys has calmed down over Nesta bringing you to greet us so youâll have time. As for now, care to have something to eat? You can help me make it so we both know neither is trying to poison the otherâ he gave a light laugh while standing again, and you followed him along to the kitchen.Â
For the rest of the night, the both of you spent your time cooking, laughing and teaching one another about your worlds. Azriel explained the Courts, his role and his familyâs as well as giving a shortened version of their relationships with one another. In return, you told him about your studies, what Instagram was and how democracy works. Azriel wasnât sure heâd ever felt such strong feelings towards someone heâd just met before and it confused him almost as much as what microwaves were.Â
âHere you go, a glass of our best liquor, you deserve itâ Azriel passed you the tumbler as you sat cross-legged on the couch beneath the woollen blanket you were previously hidden under.
âOh slayâ
âNo, I didnât kill anything to get this for youâ You almost choked on the drink with the laugh that left you at his confused words.Â
âNo Azriel itâs like-actually maybe Iâll explain drag culture to you another dayâ He nodded eagerly at the prospect of learning more, sinking into the couch alongside you with his own drink.Â
âSo have you girlf-mate type person like Feyre and Rhys?â
âNo, no girlf-mate type person-â he teased back and you sighed, clipping him with the pillow from under your elbow â-do you?â
âNope, to be honest, I donât think Iâll be missed from home, I lost my parents young and never really found my flock at college eitherâ you shrugged.Â
âHow could anyone not miss you YN?â
âYou have to say that, youâre my captorâ
âActually Nesta captured you, Iâm just minding you-â You returned his smirk â-speaking of which, time for sleep, tomorrow they should be back to figuring getting you home for your examâ you whined like a misbehaving child but youâd been fighting off sleep since dinner so agreed with him.
He lead you to his room in the cabin before offering you one of his clean linen shirts and leaving you to sleep. You practically swam in the fabric, with no wings or Illyrian muscles to fill it out, feeling the same way about the colossal bed that you slipped into. You looked up at the ceiling where Feyre had painted delicate little consolations, the day washing over you, had all your prayers finally been answered? You smiled as you gave into the sleep that hunted you all day.
----------------------------------
âWe are sending her back!â
âAmren canât guarantee sheâll end up in her realm, sheâs not going anywhere!â You wiped the sleep from your eyes, Azriel's blunt tone waking you from the best sleep of your life.
âShe canât stay here Az!â
âAnd what if she ends up somewhere a lot worse, she coul-oh YN youâre awakeâ You looked from the doorway between the two gorgeous Illyrians.Â
âThis is Rhysandâ
âOh, your majesty I supposeâ you did a half bow after stepping closer to the males, a small laugh leaving Rhysand at the action.Â
âDonât flatter him YNâ
âYN, flatter me if that would make you happyâ he grinned, Azriel rolling his eyes.Â
âYouâre exactly as describedâ You shrugged at him, settling down on the couch between where the lllyrians stood
âI would like to apologies for NestaâsâŚinteruption to your day to day life and more so forâŚprobably being all Nesta when you woke upâ Rhysand offered, Azriel folding his arms tightly across his chest as he inspected you closely, you in his shirt may now be his favourite sight. Rhysand watched the slight change in his brothers demanour at your presence, this increasing his worry.Â
âNow YN, itâs time we get you back to-â
â-I heard you guys say you canât say for certain Iâll get homeâ you cut across Rhysand, his eyes darting back to you, Azriel trying to bury his smirk.
âIâm confident we know how to get you thereâ
âOkay cool, so Feyre will accompany meâÂ
âWhat?â Rhysand bit out.
âWell its just if youâre so sure youâll get me in the right spot, surely youâll have no issue allowing Feyre to accompany me yanno, since youâre confidentâ Azriel lost his battle in holding in his smirk.Â
âSheâs got you there Rhys, if one of us wouldnât do it, why should she?â
âBecause she doesnât belong hereâ Rhysand chewed out, locking eyes with his brother.
âShe is sitting right here and she isnât going near any wormhole or whatever if youâre not sure Iâd get there safeâ You forced his attention back to your with your sharp words.
âWho said anything about worms?â
âYN has a habit of speaking in riddlesâ Azriel sat alongside you, giving you a somewhat proud smile, his arm instinctively resting on the back of the couch behind you.Â
âYN, Iâm sure youâre great but I can almost guarantee that our world is vastly different to yours, itâs a lot to take on for your mortal mind, perhaps we could arrange a home for you in the mortal realm?â you tilted your head side to side weighing up his offer before Azriel replied for you.
âI can teach her our ways, I can school her like you did Feyreâ Rhysand sighed out but couldnât deny the way Azriel looked at you and you at him was deeply familiar to him.Â
âFine, a week, you may stay a week and if it doesnât work out then the mortal realm it is, weâll set you up with a nice manor and youâll live very comfortablyâ
âLike Downton Abbey?â you teased despite your audience.
âIâm not familiar with that regionâ
âIs that where the drag culture is?â
âOf sortsâ you laughed at Azriel and his quizzical words, his hazel eyes so enamoured by the sight, further cementing Rhysandâs suspicions. Rhysand sighed deeply ensuring you agreed to the terms and to be taught by Azriel before he left to continue to reprimand Nesta.Â
------------------------
Over the next week it became abundantly clear that despite being from two different realms, you and Azriel were made for one another. You both had the same humor and intelligence as well as thirst for knowledge. You continued to teach him about your home and he taught you about the new world around you and the more you learned the less you wanted to leave. On your first day in Velaris, you thought your heart may burst with the growing love for the place and even more so for your guide.Â
âAnd then Cass completely blew the building up, I thought the vein was going to burst in Rhysandâs headâ Azriel tilted his head back and laughed loudly while you both crossed the bridge of the Sidra, your last official day in the Night Court before you had to decide. Somewhere along the way, Azriel and your hands became interlocked and forgot to separate.
âYou live such insane lives hereâ
âAnd you could tooâ he stopped you in your tracks, his eyes warming over your body as he looked down on you, the sinking sun reflecting off of the snow.Â
âMaybe with less arson thoughâ he added with a grin you loved so much.Â
âAz, Iâd love to stay but-â
â-No, just say âAz Iâd love to stayâ and leave it thereâ he fought his faltering smile as you looked down at his shoes, both hands held in his now.Â
âBut Az-â you couldnât find the end of the sentence, the words lost on Azrielâs lips as they met yours with such searing passion. His mouth slotted over yours with such a perfect fit it was like they were always meant to be there. You stood further on your toes to deepen the kiss as his hands traced around the nape of your neck and yours landed around his torse. You separated when the need for air almost matched the need to never let go.Â
âI-I canât remember the end of my last thoughtâ you laughed lightly and he grinned. âSo youâll stay?â
âI donât think I was ever going to be able to walk away from youâŚwell not without mace anywaysâ you smiled back into another kiss, the second of many many more.

Fast Car Chapter Two (of four)
masterpost
Was this guy for real? Jason nearly decided not to get in out of suspicion. Danny was one of the very few loose ends in his crime yesterday. He sort of figured that eventually Batman would find the driver heâd used to get a duffle bag of heads to the police station. He stalled. It had seemed like an acceptable risk, since he hadnât shown the guy his face. The only information that the police should have been able to get was where heâd left and that heâd used one of his victimâs phones to call for a ride.
And yet Danny was waiting patiently at the curb for the Red Hood to get in. Wasnât he scared?
He had been all over the news yesterday. Danny had to know.
âEither heâs dumb as a box or he is one of the chillest people Iâve ever even heard of.â
Morbid curiosity got him into the car. Danny locked the door as soon as the door was shutâ but it was clearly routine. Heâd done that yesterday, right. Jason waited a moment before he remembered that Danny wasnât going to pull out until he had his seatbelt on. He let out a laugh and buckled up. It was pretty cute, actually.
Now that he wasnât so distracted, maybe he could make small talk. Danny pulled them out into the sparse early morning traffic with an expression of determined focus.
Jason cleared his throat. âYou moved to Gotham recently?â he started with. Danny didnât have the local speaking pattern.
Danny nodded. âFor school,â he shared easily. âIâm in the sciences program at Gotham Uâs south campus.â
âŚSo he wasnât the worldâs biggest dummy. Jason sat there and contemplated how catastrophically chill a body would have to be to chit chat with a man who had killed like 20 people yesterday that he knew of. Why wasnât Danny scared? What was his damage?Â
âThereâs something really wrong with him,â Jason thought, with no small bit of admiration. Way too late he commented, âThatâs cool, man.â
âThanks.â Danny seemed unbothered by his long delay in conversation. âYou know, I had to go to that same police station this morning.â
Jason tensed. Was Danny making some kind of threat?
âThey got a whole shitton of muffins and six quiches delivered,â Danny went on. He appeared to feel no sense of danger in the car.
âIs he⌠Did he decide to inform on the police to me?â Jasonâs eye twitched. âI already knew that Iâd have ruined their whole month but⌠This is kinda satisfying to hear, actually.â He made a listening sound to prompt Danny to continue. He couldn't lie; he was intrigued.
âYeah, they looked like total shit.â Danny was so blithe about it that it became surreal and hilarious. âExhausted. But thatâs not my business.â He crinkled up his nose. âDo you know what they tipped me for that?â He didnât wait for Jason to go on. âTwo dollars.â He made a big gesture with his left hand that took it off the steering wheel despite the fact they were mid turn. âThatâs ridiculous! I drove halfway across town, waited for the place to open, carried an absurd amount up those stairs, and for two dollars.â He blew a disrespectful raspberry.
âFuck the police,â Jason said sympathetically.Â
Aight. He saw how it was. He mentally tabulated what was in his wallet and allocated a cool thirty dollars to Danny as a tip. For an informant, that was as cheap as bagged rice. Helluva value. He leaned back in the seat and it squeaked under his weight. âHowâs Gotham been treating you?â
âFine, fine,â Danny said absently. He switched lanes a little too abruptly. âNot that different from home, honestly. I donât know why people are so dramatic about it.â He floored it to squeak through a yellow light.
Jason had the dawning suspicion that Danny had been on his best driving behavior yesterday. But- âWhere is home?â It was more morbid curiosity. He kind of regretted that he was nearly to his stop.Â
âAmity Park. Illinois.â
Jason winced. âMy condolences.â
Danny laughed, high and sort of eerie now that Jason was really listening to it. It sent an electric zing up his spine. âThatâs what they always say.â He seemed to find it really funny. Way funnier than it should have been.
â...What are the odds that this guy is one of the weird mutants they make in Amity?â Jason resisted the urge to ask prying questions. Talia had told him to stay the fuck out of that area so that she didnât have to rescue him from a government black site. It wasnât his business and he didnât have the luxury of the time to go and investigate every cute boy with a nice laugh who wanted to be an informant to the Red Hood.
It was with extreme regret that Jason recognized his stop coming up. He let out a sigh. The voice scramblers in his hood turned it to static. He watched the curb approach with disappointment. Danny made to pull in next to a dark shop. Jason glanced into the windows and caught the reflection of the last person he wanted to see.Â
âBatmobile.â He sat up straight, alarmed. It was parked out of sight in an alley. Shit. Shit, of course Batman had tracked back the delivery driver that had brought him to the police building. Fuck. How was he going to get away on foot-
Danny jerked back into the street and hit the pedal to the floor. The engine made a scream of machine fear but holy hell did it accelerate. Jason yelled too and grabbed onto the door handle. He aimed wide eyes at Danny, uncomprehending.Â
âFuck Batman!â Danny yelled out his open window, and they were off.
Holy shit. Holy shit!
The batmobile turned on, the normally silent engineâs purr rearing up to a threatening growl as Bruce veered out onto the street in pursuit.
Danny took them down an alley and Jason sharply readjusted his assessment of Dannyâs intelligence. âWe canât fit!â He yelled, trying to pull the brake. If they had to stop in the alley it was all over, Batman would block them off.
Danny slapped his hand away and barreled-
Jason blinked as they raced down the impossibly narrow alleyway. He bit his lip. He looked at the car again, recalculating.
No. No, it definitely didnât fit. He leaned a little away from the window, extremely uncomfortable. He looked at just the right time to see the passenger mirror collide with a dumpster and slide through undeterred.
Ah. Alright, then. He made a âFair enoughâ face and turned around to see that the batmobile was lifting up and doing some weird transformers bullshit to fit down the alleyway. They were gaining ground from Batman. âSorry I tried to touch the controls,â Jason said, a bit late. He glanced down and realized that his hand stung where Danny had slapped it. He pulled it to his chest and rubbed at it, frowning slightly.
âNo worries,â Danny said tersely. He hit the breaks and raked the wheel car to make a fucking pinpoint turn without slowing. Just like that, they were out of Batmanâs direct line of sight. A solid inch of the inside of the car overlapped with a folding chair outside someoneâs home.
Jason eyed Danny judgmentally.
âWow, that was a close fit,â Danny said, extremely unconvincing. âWe are lucky, huh.â He aimed the car at a wall and somehow ramped up.Â
âI think I might be sick.â
Jason decided that the best thing for him to do right now was to close his eyes and say nothing at all. If Danny wanted plausible deniability for his mutant powers, that was whatever.Â
âHow did Batman know where I was going?â He worked through the problem. âDid he hack Dannyâs account? If not, someone sold me out.â
Just like that, Jason had a list of people to visit for the day. âDâyou think you could drop me off at C street instead?â He felt the uncomfortable swooping sensation in his stomach that indicated theyâd made some kind of move that should not exist off of a rollercoaster.
âYeah, of course, sorry about this.â Danny sounded a little breathless. âAh- donât look.â He cackled.
âŚâHeâs dodging Batman for his benefit, not mine,â the penny dropped. Jason laughed out loud and then leaned forward to hold his head in his hands. Holy shit. Holy fucking shit. Danny was the perfect man. They drove for a while in silence before Jason managed to collect himself. âNo worries,â he said through tears. âHey, no sweat if itâs no, but can I get your number?â
Danny paused.
Oh, fuck. Jason cringed. âI'll leave mine and you can call me if you ever need me,â he corrected hastily. âNo pressure.â He scribbled it on the back of a loose receipt in Danny's cupholder and left it, mortified but also glad he shot his shot.

MASTERLIST & REQUEST GUIDELINES
You leaned against the porch, one of the few spots in Alexandria that didnât make you want to rip your hair out. It all felt too damn clean sometimes, too fake even. Here, it was easy to forget how the world had gone to shit, but... Daryl? He never let himself forget. He was walking around by the gate, looking like an animal waiting for a fight, and you knew why...
Rick and a few others were getting ready for a runâanother trip outside the safe walls to scavenge for supplies. But more than that, it was an excuse for Daryl to escape the suffocation of Alexandria. Heâd rather be out there with the walkers than in here, playing pretend.
"Daryl," you called out, and he stopped pacing and turned to face you, his eyes narrowing like he was already preparing for a lecture from you.
"What?" He grunted, sounding as defensive as ever. He was always on alert these days, and it was only getting worse since you arrived in Alexandria.
"Listen," you started, stepping down from the porch and running toward him as he prepared to leave. "I know you hate this place, and I understand; I really do, but you need to keep your head on straight out there. Youâre not just out there for yourself. Youâve got Rick, Glenn, and Michonne with you today. You fuck anything up; they could get hurt too. Please, just be careful."
He looked away, scuffing his boot against the ground like a stubborn child who didnât want to hear what you were saying. "Ainât no damn kid. Can handle myself," he growled back at you.
You sighed, running a hand through your hair. This wasnât the first time youâd had this conversation, and it sure as hell wouldnât be the last. "You might be able to handle yourself, sure, and we all know that you are more than capable of doing that, but that doesnât mean you can act reckless. You need to listen to Rick, do what he says, and stop acting like a damn brat. You keep pulling this shit, and one of these days, itâs gonna bite you in the ass. Literally."
Daryl clenched his jaw and scoffed, and for a moment, you thought he might actually argue with you. But then he just shook his head. "Yer done now?"
"No, Daryl, Iâm not done," you snapped back, feeling your frustration grow and almost boil over. "Iâm tired of watching you do this bullshit, okay? Weâre all trying to make this work, and youâre out there acting like youâve got a death wish. Weâve lost too many people already, and Iâm not about to lose you or anyone else because you couldnât keep your damn self in check."
For a second, you saw something like vulnerability, but it was gone as quickly as it appeared. He looked away again, like he was trying to block out your words, not wanting to listen to you.
"Just... think about what I said, okay?" You said, the tone in your voice softening slightly. You didnât want to push him too hard, but you couldnât just let this slide again all the time. "Iâm not trying to piss you off, Daryl. I just donât want to see you get hurt. We all need you to come back. I... I need you to come back."
He didnât say anything; he just gave you a nod before finally turning away. But as you watched him walk toward Rick, you couldnât ignore the feeling that something bad was going to happen on this run.
Rick was already waiting by the gate, his hands on his hips as he looked around Alexandria. He seemed to be tired, but when he saw you approaching as well, he gave you a small smile.
"Did you talk to him?" Rick asked, his voice whispering, so only you could hear.
"Yeah," you replied, glancing over at Daryl, who was busy playing around with his knife. "But you know how he is. Stubborn as hell."
Rick laughed a little, but there was no real humor in it. "Yeah. Isn't that the truth? Donât worry, I'll keep an eye on him while weâre out there, alright? If he does something stupid..."
"You'll make sure he doesnât," you interrupted, not needing him to finish the sentence.
"Alright. Got it. Weâll be back before you know it," Rick said, louder now and turning to the gate as it opened, and Glenn arrived with the car. "Weâre heading out. Stay close, keep quiet, and donât take any unnecessary risks. We get what we need, and we get back. That's it."
You watched as Daryl took his crossbow and walked with Rick and the others over to the truck. You were worried, sure, but you forced yourself to stay calm. This was Daryl Dixon, after all. He was tough, he was resourceful, and heâd been through far worse than this. But still, there was that uncomfortable feeling in the back of your mind, the one that told you things werenât going to go smoothly today.
Rick took Daryl aside in the meantime. "Listen, Daryl. We stick to the plan, and we get back without any extra bullshit. You got that?"
Daryl glared at Rick but didnât say anything. You knew that look; it was the one that said he was going to do what he wanted anyway.
With that, Rick and the othersâGlenn and Michonne, in this caseâheaded out, leaving you in Alexandria with the rest of the group.
You turned away, heading back to the house, but your thoughts were still with Daryl. You just hoped heâd listen to you for once, or rather, Rick. Because if he didnât, you werenât sure youâd be able to forgive himâor yourselfâif something went wrong.
The truck stopped at the side of a parking lot some time later. Abandoned cars were standing around all over the place, with their windows shattered and rotting corpses still sitting in some of them. It was a graveyard. Rick turned off the engine and looked over to the building, his face already showing that things were about to get rough.
"This place is full of walkers," Rick mumbled, looking around the area. "Okay⌠We get in, we get out. No fucking around. Got it?"
Everyone nodded, even Daryl, though the look in his eyes told a different story. Alexandria was killing him slowly, suffocating him with its safety and daily routine, and one could see he was just waiting to break free, to remind himself what it felt like to be out there again, in the real world, and not living in an illusion.
"Stick together," Rick continued, his eyes narrowing at Daryl like he could read his mind. "Weâre hitting that grocery store, grabbing what we can, and getting the hell out. Nothing else, no bullshit."
Daryl grunted in response, his hand tightening around his crossbow. He wasnât making any promises; that was clear enough, but at least he wasnât outright showing it. That would have to be good enough. The four of them got out of the truck, their weapons ready, and slowly made their way toward the store. It looked like it had been raided a few times already, but Rick had heard from Aaron that a shipment had been left behind in the storage roomsâlots of canned food, water, and even medicine inside the small pharmacy of the store, locked up in the back, just waiting to be taken. Easy, if they played it safe.
Of course, playing it safe had not been Darylâs way of doing it lately, not when his blood was boiling, and especially not since the prison, Terminus, and the other hell everyone went through. And especially not ever since Alexandria.
They went through the side entrance, which was once for the people that had worked there, the glass doors hanging off their hinges, and one could easily guess how most of the walkers got into the store in the first place, apart from those walkers thatâve died inside while scavenging. The inside of the store was pure chaos, with broken shelves, rotten food, and other empty products all across the floor. They moved quietly as Rick led the way, his Colt Python out and ready as always, Glenn close behind with his knife drawn, and Michonne with her sword, while Daryl was at the end, pointing his crossbow around as well. They soon made it to the back of the store, where the stockroom doors were, without drawing any attention so far.
"Alright," Rick whispered, motioning for the others to cover him. "Glenn and I will try to open the door. Michonne, watch our backs. Daryl, youâ"
But before Rick could finish, Daryl was already moving. He didnât like waiting, didnât like standing around while others decided what to do, or having to wait for a plan. Without a word, he went off to the right, disappearing down one of the side aisles, his crossbow at the ready.
"Daryl!" Rick hissed, but there was no stopping him.
"Shit," Glenn grumbled in a bit of annoyance and panic, his eyes looking at Rick. "Where the hell is he going? What is he doing?"
Rick shook his head in frustration. "Just... just stay here," he ordered before walking after Daryl, cursing to himself with every step.
Daryl moved fast, his crossbow raised as he approached the loading dock at the back of the store from another side. He could hear the sounds of walkers moving behind the metal door, but this was exactly what he was looking for. He shoved the door open with a grunt, with the door making a noise that could be heard all throughout the whole store.
The walkers inside turned at the sound, and they immediately moved forward, their arms outstretched.
"Câmon, ya ugly bastards," Daryl mumbled, the first bolt killing the nearest walker in an instant. The walker fell to the ground, but the others kept coming.
He reloaded quickly, but just as he was about to fire again, a hand grabbed his shoulder, pulling him off balance. He hadnât noticed the few other walkers, hidden in an open employee restroom nearby, their fingers grabbing his vest with their teeth only inches away from his face.
"Fuck!" Daryl growled, kicking the walker in front of him back and grabbing his knife. But he soon stumbled, falling down to the floor with the two of them on top of him. The impact knocked the knife from his hands, letting it slide across the floor, just out of reach, as he struggled to push the walkers off.
Then, just as the walkersâ teeth were about to bite into his flesh, several gunshots could be heard. Daryl gasped for breath, shoving the dead off him as he got to his feet, his heart racing while he looked over at Rick standing in the doorway with his Colt Python.
"You stupid son of a bitch," Rick said, lowering the gun. "What the hell were you even thinking?"
Daryl wiped the blood from his face, glaring at Rick but not saying a single word. He didnât need toâhe knew heâd fucked up, and Rick certainly knew it too.
But Rick didnât wait for an explanation. "We need to hurry. Get your damn ass back to the truck. Now!"
For now, Daryl didnât argue. He grabbed his crossbow and knife, putting it over his shoulder as he moved past Rick and over to Glenn and Michonne. He could feel Rickâs eyes on his back, judging him, and it took everything in him not to lash out. But he knew Rick was right. Heâd been reckless, and it had nearly cost him his life. Not only that, but the supply run failed with the other walkers in the front of the store now moving toward the storage room.
Once outside, Daryl couldnât ignore the thought that heâd fucked up more than just the run. Heâd broken the trust, not just with Rick but with you. And he knew heâd have to face the consequences when he got back.
The sun was starting to set when you saw Rick and the others coming through the gate. Youâd been waiting, walking around Alexandria, trying to distract yourself. But the deal had been clearâRick would bring Daryl back in one piece and tell you every detail. But the moment you caught sight of Rick, you knew something had gone wrong. It was written all over his face, as was the fact that they had no supplies with them.
"Rick," you called out, running over to him.
He looked up at you, nodding and narrowing his eyes. You hated that look. It meant bad news, and you were tired of bad news.
"What happened?" You demanded as he walked next to you. "Whereâs Daryl?"
"Heâs fine," Rick said, holding up a hand to calm you down, though it didnât do shit for your nerves. "I don't know where he is right now. Jumped right out of the truck. Physically, heâs okay. But, hell, it was close. Too close. Again."
Your stomach dropped at his words. This was getting out of hand. "What do you mean, 'close'?"
Rick rubbed the back of his neck, looking away for a moment. "We were in that store Aaron told us about, wanting to get the supplies. Daryl decided to go off on his own, like he always does lately. Didnât wait for us as a backup, just did his own thing. Not even telling us that there was an easier way and that he has seen it. Next thing I know, heâs nearly got two walkers biting into his damn neck."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" You asked, your hands balling into fists at your sides. "I told himâhell, we both told him so many timesânot to pull that lone wolf bullshit anymore! And he still did it? I canât fucking believe it!"
Rick nodded. "Yeah. Same old Daryl, too stubborn for his own good. I got there in time, but if I hadnât... well, we wouldnât be having this conversation right now."
You sucked in a breath, trying to calm the rage inside you. But it was hardâdamn hardâwhen you pictured Daryl almost getting himself killed because he couldnât follow simple instructions. "What the hell is wrong with him, Rick? Why does he keep doing this shit? Is Alexandria that bad for him? I mean, yeah, we all arenât used to this... illusion, but hell, weâre at least trying to make the best of it! All of us!"
Rick sighed, leaning against the porch railing once you both arrived at the house. "I donât think itâs only about Alexandria, not entirely. But yeah, itâs too controlled, too... fake. So he goes out there, trying to prove heâs still... still who he was out there. But itâs not like none of us tries the exact same thing. We all do. Or did."
You shook your head in frustration. "I get it; I do. But we canât keep going on like this. Heâs going to get himself killedâor worse, get someone else hurt. Iâm fucking done sitting around, hoping heâll pull his head out of his damn ass!"
Rick looked at you with a small smile. "By now I was thinking the same thing on the way back. Weâve tried to talk sense into him, but he isnât listening. Heâs too stubborn."
"Thatâs it," you finally said. "Iâm handling this. If he wonât listen to you, maybe heâll finally listen to me. But one way or another, this shit stops today, I swear."
Rickâs eyebrows moved up in surprise before he nodded slowly. "You sure? I donât think you should push him into a corner."
You smirked, but it was more due to annoyance than amusement. "Oh, Iâm sure. Heâs going to learn today that thereâs more than one way to get his damn ass in line. Trust me, Rick. Otherwise⌠Otherwise, I just donât know what to do anymore."
Rick laughed a little and shook his head. "Alright then. Just donât go too hard on him. And you must remember that it takes time. With⌠all of this."
You waved him off, already halfway down the steps of the porch. "Heâll be fine, Rick."
As you headed toward the garage, where you knew Daryl was probably working on his bike, your mind was already racing with what you were going to say. This wasnât just about Daryl acting like a reckless assholeâthis was about keeping him and the others alive, keeping him from throwing away everything youâd fought so hard for in this new world, with the rest of the group.
The moment you stepped into the garage, he barely looked your way, too focused on tightening a bolt that didnât even need any more tightening. But you werenât about to let him ignore you, not after what Rick had told you.
"Daryl," you started, but he only grunted in response, and that was about itâjust a damn grunt, like he couldnât be bothered to reply with words. And it pissed you off how he could be so nonchalant after nearly getting himself killed.
"Look at me," you snapped, stepping closer to him. "I said... Look at me, Dixon."
He paused, his hand stilling on the wrench, before finally looking into your eyes with a scoff.
"You think you can just go off on your own and do whatever the fuck you want? Well, guess what, Daryl? You almost got your damn throat ripped out today. And for what? Because you couldnât listen? Because youâre too stubborn to accept that youâre part of a community now, and not some lone wolf out there in the woods with a group he helps out every now and then?" You said, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Ainât like that," he mumbled, but it didnât really sound like he was trying to defend himself.
"Bullshit!" You shot back, stepping even closer until you were right in his face, close enough to see the way his eyes widened slightly. "Itâs exactly like that, and you know it. And for what? To prove something? To whom? You ainât gotta prove anything to me, Daryl. And certainly not our group. But you do owe it to us to stop acting like a fucking idiot!"
He turned away from you, but you werenât done yet. "This isnât just about you anymore, Dixon. Every time you pull this shit, you put everyone at risk. Everyone! You get bit, we lose a member of this group. A member of our damn family! You die, and we all suffer! Do you even get that? Or are you that stuck with your own damn head up your ass that you canât see that?"
"Ainât need ya shittinâ on me," he growled, his voice quiet, but you caught something like guilt in it. "Can handle my ass."
"Clearly," you snapped at him with sarcasm. "Because you handled yourself so well today that Rick had to pull your ass out of a walkerâs mouth. Real smooth, Daryl! Real fucking smooth!"
He flinched at that, his eyes narrowing as he turned back to face you. "Ainât like I needed any damn help."
You didnât back down, though. You were way past that. "And thatâs the problem, Daryl. You think that you donât need anyone. But guess what? You do. You need us, and we need you. So stop acting like an asshole and start thinking about what youâre doing to everyone else."
For a second, you thought he might lash out. But instead, he just looked at youâreally looked at youâlike he was trying to figure something out. "Why ya care sâ much?" He finally asked.
You huffed, rolling your eyes. "Because I give a shit, you damn idiot. Because I... care about you more than anyone else here even knows, and Iâm not about to watch you throw your life away over some macho bullshit, or whatever youâre trying to act like. You think I want to lose you? You think any of us do?"
He stared at you. "Ainât tryna make shit harder," he muttered, looking down at the ground, shrugging his shoulders. "Jusâ... canât stand it âere sometimes. Ainât me âround âere."
"Who you are isnât some reckless idiot who doesnât give a damn about anyone else. Who you are is someone whoâs saved more lives than you can count, someone whoâs part of a family now. And yeah, maybe itâs different here and maybe itâs hard, but that doesnât give you the right to check out whenever you feel like it, as if this community is a fucking hotel!"
He didnât say anything; he just kept looking at you with those blue, searching eyes, like he was waiting for you to give him somethingâsome kind of direction.
You took a deep breath. "Daryl, you need to stop this shit. You need to stop before you get yourself killed. And if you wonât listen to Rick, then youâll damn well listen to me. Got it?"
"Yeah," he said, almost whispering. "Got it."
"Good," you said. "Because this stops now. Youâre done running off, done putting yourself at risk for no damn reason. From now on, you listen, just like before. Weâre all a big team, Daryl, and we still are despite everything. Understand?"
"Yeah⌠Do ya still loâ" He started but stopped himself from speaking any further. "Are ya mad?"
"What? No, Iâm not mad," you answered, stepping back to leave, wanting to give him some space. "But Iâm hurt and disappointed."
Daryl sat there for a long time after you left. He gritted his teeth, and his fists were clenched, but it wasnât anger. It was guilt. Shame even. All he knew was that heâd fucked up.
"Stupid, stupid fuckinâ idiot," he mumbled to himself, running a hand through his hair while he could still hear your voice in his head. "Fuckinâ piece o' shit. Canât even keep yer damn head straight."
He felt like a fool, like a stubborn kid whoâd just been put in his place. But it wasnât just the anger that stuck with himâit was the look in your eyes, the pain and fear of what couldâve happened to him.
"Gotta make this right," he grumbled, now walking around the garage. "Ainât gonna let her think Iâm some reckless asshole who donât care âbout nothinâ." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Sheâs right⌠Been actinâ like a damn idiot. But⌠shit, need tâ prove I ainât just some fuckup."
He knew youâd left him alone on purpose, letting him think about it, just like youâve done several times before. But this time, he wasnât going to sit here and wait for you to come back. He had a planâa rather half-baked plan, but it was all he had. He needed to show you how much you meant to him and how much he needed you.
"Fuck, sheâs gonna kill me," he sighed, shaking his head as he made his way out of the garage. And he knew exactly where and in what house he was going to find you.
You were already half asleep, lying on the floor on a mattress, when you felt someone being thereâbefore you even opened your eyes. It was Daryl, of course, kneeling over you as he carefully pulled the sheets back.
"What the hell are you doing, Dixon?" You mumbled, still groggy. "Leave me alone."
He didnât answer right away; he just pressed a kiss to your shoulder, then another, moving down your arm, his lips barely touching your skin. It was slow on purpose, like he was trying to worship every inch of you to make up for all the stupid shit heâd done. And it was working, even if it pissed you off that he thought he could just... seduce his way out of this.
"Daryl," you warned, but your voice was weak due to the way his strong, big hands were now sliding down your sides to your waist.
"âM sorry," he whispered, before he kissed the sensitive spot on your neck. "Fucked it up, I know that. But need ya to know... I ainât a fool. I need ya, more than ya fuckinâ know."
You wanted to stay mad, to shove him away from you and tell him to get his shit together, but his touchâGod, it was like he knew exactly what he was doing, like he was taking away your anger with every kiss and every touch of his hands. And when he put his head lower, kissing along your ribs after he pulled up your shirt, you felt almost frustrated.
"Daryl," you breathed out as a warning again, but he didnât stop. He slid his hands further up your shirt, pulling it over your head as he kissed down your ribs, his fingers grabbing your body like he was trying to show you that he was still alive.
"Need ya," he mumbled against your skin, his voice sounding almost desperate. "Need ya tâ know I ainât takinâ this for granted."
"Daryl, stopâŚ" You started, but your words were cut off by a gasp as he found that spot just above your waist, his lips kissing you harder, and his teeth softly biting your skin. You felt a shiver run through you, and hell, you hated how much you wanted this, how much you wanted him to keep going.
"Iâll stop if ya want me to, I swear," he whispered, but he didnât stop, not really. His hands slid down, undoing your pants and wanting to slide them down, which made you stop breathing for a moment.
You were looking at him, your eyes narrowing. "You think you can justâ" You started, but then he shut you upâkissing you hard and long, cutting off your words. And fuck, if it didnât make your whole body shiver with need.
"Canât help it," he muttered against your lips, his voice a little shaky, like he was losing control. "Canât stop thinkinâ âbout ya, âbout how much I need ya."
"You think this makes up for what you did? For your reckless behavior?" You asked, shaking your head slightly.
"Nah," he admitted. "Gotta show ya somehow. Gotta show ya how much I fuckinâ care."
You grabbed his wrists, pulling his hands away from your pants, even though you were already aching for him. "You donât get to touch me like that," you said. "Not until I say so."
He swallowed hard, his breath stopping as he nodded, his eyes wide. "Please," he whispered, looking up at you and waiting for permission.
"Please what?" You demanded, tightening your grip on his wrists. "You think you can just come in here and expect me to forgive you? After everything?"
"Nah," he stammered, his eyes looking down to the floor again. "But⌠I need ya. I need ya tâ see that I can make it right."
"You wanna make it right, Daryl?" You asked again. "Then youâre gonna do exactly what I say, like I said."
"Yeah," he answered, his body almost trembling with the need to make you forgive him. "Iâll do whatever ya want."
You let go of his wrists, letting them fall back to his sides. "Take off your clothes," you ordered, the tone in your voice leaving no room for argument.
He hesitated for just a second, but then he started to stand up and get out of his clothes, his hands shaking as he got out of his shirt, then his pants, and the rest, until he was standing there, naked and vulnerable before you.
"Now get back on your knees," you demanded, watching as his eyes widened.
He dropped to his knees, waiting for your next command. And fuck, if that didnât send a rush of power straight through you.
You stood over him, your hand reaching out to grab his hair, pulling his head back so he was forced to look up at you. "Look at me."
And he did. He slowly looked up in shame.
"You donât get to play the lone wolf out there," you continued, stepping closer, your hand grabbing his chin, moving his head up further. "Not anymore. You almost got yourself killed."
"I know," he muttered. "âM sorry..."
He wantedâno, he neededâto show you how he felt about his mistakes, and he was ready to do it on his knees if thatâs what you demanded.
You let go of him, letting him fall forward, as you lay back down onto the mattress. "Show me," you simply said.
And he didâGod, he did... He kissed every inch of you, his lips moving lower, his hands gripping your hips like he was afraid you might disappear, and he held onto you like you were the only person able to keep him safe.
He didnât need to be told twiceâhe knew what he had to do to make things right.
You leaned back on the mattress, spreading your legs just enough to invite him closer, and watched his hands shake a little as they slid up your thighs.
"Yes," he whispered quietly. He was trying to be tough, but you could see through it. The man was already lost in you, in the need to make you feel good to make up for his earlier bullshit.
No, he couldnât keep his hands off you; the way he now nearly ripped off the rest of your clothes was almost urgent.
"Goddamn," he whispered, his eyes wide and hungry as he took in the sight of you. "So fuckinâ beautiful."
His hands were trembling as he reached for your bra, fumbling with it before finally getting it off. He slid it off your shoulders, throwing it over to your pants on the floor, his eyes never leaving your breasts.
Darylâs mouth went dry as he leaned in, his lips stopping just above one nipple. "Canât believe yer lettinâ me touch ya like this," he whispered, more to himself than to you. Then he closed his mouth around your nipple, his tongue moving over it, making you gasp.
He sucked and licked, using his teeth just a little, sliding them lightly against it, while his other hand was pinching and rolling the other.
"Fuck, Daryl," you groaned, your hands moving through his hair, holding him close as he worshiped your breasts like they were the most important things in the world. "Donât stop."
He growled against your skin and kept going; he kept sucking, licking, and teasing until your nipples were swollen and hard, sensitive to every little touch.
He soon pulled back, a line of spit connecting his mouth to your nipple before it broke, and he greedily licked over it once more. His eyes were full with need, his breathing heavy as he looked up at you, like he was waiting for permission to keep going.
"Youâre going to be a good boy and keep worshipping me?" You asked, your voice teasing and commanding him at the same time.
"Yeah," he whispered. "Please⌠Need tââŚ"
"Then do it," you ordered, and that was all the encouragement he needed.
Darylâs hands moved lower, sliding down your sides, moving along your hips before coming to a stop between your legs. His fingers brushed against your pussy, finding you already wet and wanting, and he let out a growl.
He started slowly, almost with hesitation, like he was worshipping at some holy altar. His lips brushed over the inside of your thighs, soft at first, but when you grabbed his hair again, he got the message. His mouth found your pussy the moment he ripped off your panties, and it was as if a switch flipped.
Daryl buried his face between your legs, his tongue working desperately, like he couldnât get enough of you. You let out a moan, your hand tightening in his hair, guiding him but also keeping him under your control.
"Fuck, Daryl," you breathed out. "Just like that."
And he couldnât stop, even if he wanted to. Every part of him was focused on youâon the taste of you, the way you trembled when he hit just the right spot. He was completely at your mercy, with the need to prove himself to make you proud.
You could feel him moan against you and how he was getting lost in it, in you. You knew he was desperate for more, desperate for any sign that he was doing good and that youâd forgive him. But you werenât about to make it easy for him. Not yet, at least.
You pulled back slightly, just enough to get him away from you, and he looked up at you, his lips wet and parted, already missing the taste of you. "Please," he growled out, and you could see the need to do more, to have more of you.
"You keep listening to me. You understand?" You asked, caressing his head gently.
"Yeah," he stammered and nodded in return.
You pushed his head back down, with his tongue slipping inside your pussy almost immediately, like he was trying to eat out every bit of forgiveness he could get.
And fuck, did it feel good. The way he was eating out your pussy, every little move of his tongue, the way he sucked on your clit just hard enough to make you see starsâit was like he was made for this, made to worship you.
"Fuck, donâ⌠donâ make me stop," he growled out in between. He was trembling now, hands still gripping your hips tightly, his eyes wide with something that seemed close to panic, like he couldnât stand being away from you for even a second.
But you leaned down, grabbing his chin, forcing him to look at you. "You want to make this right? You wait until Iâm ready."
He nodded quickly, swallowing hard, his eyes pleading without a word and barely holding it together. He was ready to do anything you asked, to wait as long as you wanted him to, just for a chance to taste you again.
"Good boy," you moaned, suddenly pulling him up to kiss you, tasting yourself on his lips. He kissed you like he was starved for it, holding on for dear life.
And you could feel how hard he wasâthe desperate twitching of his already leaking cock against your thighâbut you werenât done teasing him yet. "Youâre doing so good, Daryl. Go on now."
"Yes, mommy," he whimpered, the word coming out of his mouth before he could even stop it.
"What did you just call me?" You asked in shock and froze.
Darylâs eyes widened in shock and panic. "Didnât mean tâ say that," he said, his voice trembling. "I jusââ"
"Say it again," you commanded, cutting him off. "Say it."
He swallowed hard, his eyes looking around as if searching for an escape, but he knew he couldnât hide from you. "Yes, mommy," he whispered quietly, a shiver running through him as he said the word again.
But you didnât miss the way his eyes dropped to the floor. "Good boy," you simply answered. "Go onâŚ"
He didnât hesitate, his hands following the curves of your body again, his lips following close behind. He kissed down your neck, in between your breasts, along your stomach as he moved lower, his hands soon enough sliding up your thighs and over your pussy.
"Shit," he mumbled, his eyes widening as he realized just how ready you were for him. "Yer so fuckinâ wet."
He didnât say anything else, too focused on what he was doing. His fingers moved through your wet folds, teasing you until you were trembling with need, and he circled your clit with his thumb slowly on purpose, watching your face for every little reaction.
And one moanâthat was all he needed. He leaned in, his mouth replacing his fingers, his tongue sliding over your clit, licking and sucking it gently all over. He didnât rush, didnât hurry, and took his time.
"Fuck, Daryl," you moaned, your fingers gripping his hair, holding him in place as he devoured you. "Thatâs it⌠donât stop."
He didnât need to be told twice. He kept going, kept licking, sucking, and teasing until you were right on the edge and close to coming.
The control he was giving you made you feel powerful, and hell, if that wasnât the hottest thing youâd ever experienced.
"Please, mommy," he begged. "Lemme make ya cum now."
"Keep going," you commanded, feeling yourself getting closer due to his words. "Donât stop. Oh, fuckâŚ"
He obeyed, and when you finally came, you gasped and moaned, your body arching and trembling under the force of it. But as soon as you began to come down from your orgasm, you noticed how he started to get more aggressive, his hands gripping your hips harder. He pulled back slightly, his eyes burning into yours as he moved back up.
"Wanna fuck ya," he growled almost primal, grabbing his cock and pushing it against your pussy.
But you shoved him back. "Not so fast," you said. "Youâre going to do it my way."
He looked at you with frustration and desperation. "But⌠I need ya," he said, his voice cracking a little bit. "Please!"
You didnât give in. Instead, you watched as he tried to hold himself back. "If you want more, youâre going to have to do it my way, Daryl. How many times do I have to tell you?"
"Yeah, âkay," he murmured and nodded, his voice trembling.
"Not yet," you said, wrapping your hand around his shaft. The hardness of his cock was pulsing against your hand, and you enjoyed the power it gave you. "Youâre going to wait a little longer."
Darylâs breath hitched, his fingers digging into the mattress as he tried to control himself. "Please," he begged, his voice raw and desperate. "Need it."
You only smiled, slowly stroking him, your movements maddeningly slow. "You want more?" You teased, leaning closer to him. "You want me to keep going? To make you cum already as well?"
He nodded quickly. "Yes! Please, mommy. Canât take it no more!"
You took your time, each move up and down his shaft, making him moan and writhe.
"Fuck, donâ stop," he groaned. "Please, I canâtâ"
"Hush now," you interrupted, squeezing his cock. "Youâre going to wait until I say so. If you want to be a good boy, youâll follow my instructions."
Darylâs cock was coated in his pre-cum and throbbing in your hand, and every time you squeezed just a little harder, he would shiver, his voice breaking into pleas and whimpers.
"Please⌠âM so close," he whimpered. "Canât hold back much longer."
You looked down at him, smirking, and then you jerked him faster and harder, bringing him right to the edge. His body was tense and almost painfully trying to hold off his orgasm.
"Daryl," you said softly, your hand driving him mad. "I want you to beg for it. Just a little bit more."
His pleas turned into desperate murmurs as he struggled with himself. "Please⌠Need tâ⌠Jusâ let me... Oh fuck!"
With a final pump, you brought him right to the very edge again, feeling his cock throbbing against your palm. Then, just when you could see he was about to break, you pulled back, stopping altogether.
Daryl let out a whimper, his eyes desperate. "Fuck, please⌠Need it."
You leaned in close, kissing his neck. "Not yet. I want you to really feel it, to know how much you need me."
"Please," he begged again. "Please..."
"Tell me how much you need it," you smiled at him.
He swallowed hard, his voice cracking as he spoke. "Need it so bad, mommy, please... Need tâ cum for ya. Need ya..."
You gave him one final, hard stroke, and then you stopped again, making him groan and tremble over you, the muscles in his arms tensing up painfully hard. "Good boy," you whispered, finally giving him permission to slide into your pussy, just not all the way.
"No further," you said. "Just the tip. Hold it back."
He groaned, his hands gripping the sheets next to you on the mattress. "Please," he begged, his voice breaking. "Lemme fuck ya..."
You ignored his pleas, your hand still pumping up and down his shaft. "Say it," you commanded. "Say youâre my good boy, Daryl."
"âM yer good boy," he mumbled, closing his eyes in embarrassment.
Finally, when you could see the look on his faceâthe way he was practically begging to comeâyou leaned in. "You want it now?"
"Yeah," he whispered, his voice breaking. "Please, mommy..."
His cock was pulsing, the tip pressing into you just enough to make him groan but not enough to give him what he wanted.
You watched as a sudden tear rolled down his cheekâa single, small, and tiny drop. The sight of itâso rare for someone like Darylâmade you widen your eyes. You could see the complete surrenderâthe way he was completely at your mercy.
Without warning, you pushed against him, taking him all the way in, and made him cry out, his body shuddering as he filled you up and feeling your pussy stretch around his cock. The look of shock and ecstasy on his face was too much, even for you. His eyes widened, his lips parting slightly, and his cock was pulsing inside you, his body trembling uncontrollably.
"Fuck! FuckâŚ"
And the moment you took him in fully, he came hard inside of you with a loud groan, his body trying to push in as deep as possible as he reached his orgasm, while you held him close, feeling the last of his cum filling you up as he finished.
You soon lay there, your body still tingling, but Daryl, on the other hand, was a mess after he quickly pulled out of you. Now his walls were coming back up, and he was doing his best to act like he didnât need a damn thing from you.
He was trying to play it cool, turning his face away, still shaking a little bit. "Jusâ⌠gotta go," he mumbled, trying to shove you away. "Donâ need ya all up in mâ shit now."
"Oh, come on. You canât be serious," you smirked, running a finger teasingly down his chest.
He glared at you, trying to push you away once more. "âM fine. Jusâ leave me âlone," he grumbled.
"Look at you, all tough and cold again. But you were begging for it only a minute ago." You let your hand move over his skin, feeling his muscles twitch. "And now youâre just going to be an ass about it? Not a chance."
He froze as you touched him. "Shut up," he snapped. "Donât need yer damn pity."
You rolled your eyes, leaning in close. "Pity? This isnât pity, Daryl."
He tried to pull away again, but you held him close, your hands moving up to his chin. You tilted his head so he had no choice but to look at you.
"Seriously?" You said with a smile. "Youâre going to act like a brat now? After everything?" You moved closer, teasing him with a kiss on his lips.
Darylâs breath stopped for a second, and you felt him shudder under your touch. "Fuck off," he muttered, but it was sounding rather weak, almost as if he was trying to convince himself more than you.
You laughed, cupping his chin more firmly. "Make me. Or... maybe you really are just a brat who needs to be put in his place all over again."
He shivered as he fought with himself. "No⌠Donâ need this," he mumbled, but it was clear he was losing the battle against himself. His voice was getting quieter, and he knew that he was failing miserably.
Then, you finally met his lips with yours. It was a slow, gentle kiss, with you wanting to give him reassurance. He moaned against them, the sound full of desperation.
When you pulled back, you saw how his eyes were wide, and he suddenly nuzzled up against you, his face buried in your neck, his body trembling as if he was trying to hold onto whatever was left of his defenses.
"âM so sorry," he murmured against your skin, his voice breaking. "Didnâ mean tâ... I jusââ"
You ran your fingers through his hair, cuddling him closer as he clung to you. "Quiet," you whispered, putting your lips against his forehead. "Itâs okay."
He wrapped his arms around you, his grip a little rough as if he was afraid you might slip away. "I fucked up," he said. "Almosâ got mâself killed anâ hurt ya. âM so damn sorry."
You held him close, his body pressed against yours. "I know," you said softly. "But youâre still alive, Daryl."
But the moment of calm was ruined when Darylâs body tensed up again, with him starting to sob violently.
"Shit," he choked out, tears rolling down his cheeks. "âM such a fuckinâ asshole. Messed everythinâ up. Couldâve died anââ"
You shushed him, holding him even tighter, pressing kisses to his temples. You didnât say much, letting your actions speak louder than any words even could.
He kept mumbling apologies, his sobs so intense that they shook his whole body. "Ainât good ânough. âM worthless. Jusâ a useless piece oâ shit," he sobbed further, his voice cracking.
You gently cupped his face again, lifting it so you could look into his wet eyes. Slowly, you wiped the tears away with your thumbs, kissing his cheeks where the tears had been rolling down.
"Hush," you whispered softly. "Youâre not a useless piece of shit. Youâre not worthless. You made a mistake, but youâre here, and youâre alive. Thatâs what matters."
He needed to hear that you werenât disappointed and that you still loved him despite everything.
Daryl looked up at you, his eyes all red and swollen, but his sobbing began to calm down. And as he finally started to relax, his grip on you softened, but he didnât let go. He was still clinging to you, needing you to remind him that he was loved and that he was enough.
"Thanks," he whispered quietly. "For⌠everythinâ."
You smiled to yourself, playing with his hair. "Anytime," you murmured, pressing another soft kiss to the top of his head.
You didnât need to say anything more; your arms around him were enough to help him find his way back to feeling okay. The walls heâd built were finally down, and for now, he was just Darylâraw and in need of someone to help him piece himself back together.

A/N just a reminder that my requests are open :)
"Blitzo, can't you just deal with whatever it is on your own?" Y/n groaned, rubbing her temples in irritation as she stepped out of the office, "I swear to god, if this is some joke? I'm gonna kill you."
There was the quiet, indiscernible drone of the TV. Other than that, the room was silent. Y/n looked up, her eyes falling on the wall beside the office's door and the people who stood before it.
Moxxie, Millie, and Blitzo in a quiet, tense line. She raised her eyebrows, nearly smiled.
"What the fuck is going on?"
Blitzo uncharacteristically said nothing, simply raising his hand and pointing to the entry way. Y/n's eyes narrowed, her muscles tensed and ready for a fight as she followed the path indicated by his gesture. The hand on the knife at her side fell slack as her gaze landed on an achingly familiar face.
"Holy shit." she mumbled, her mouth falling open a little.
"Yeah, uh, he's been asking for you?" Moxxie nervously explained, "You didn't... I mean, he's the Radio Demon. He hasn't been seen in years, you didn't fuck with him... did you?"
Y/n felt tears press behind her eyes again as she took a tentative step forwards. Then another one. Slowly, she crossed the room to the taller demon who just stood there with a smile, watching her all the while with his arms folded behind his back. Y/n peered up at him, her eyes narrowed as they met his own.
The one person in the whole world she'd been practically dying to see. There was a pain, he was the cause and the cure of it. Hesitantly, she raised a hand and poked his nose.
"Shit." Blitzo muttered, rubbing his eyes tiredly as Millie let out a subtle gasp.
"Are you done?" Alastor asked, his voice crackling with irritation as he looked down at Y/n, whose arms were now crossed over her chest.
"I had to make sure you weren't a dream." she shrugged, turning her head away, "Mox was right, you've been gone seven years."
"Are you mad?" he teased, leaning down towards her ear.
Y/n rolled her eyes, turning to face him once again. She scowled at the man for a moment before a smile broke out across her face.
"I never could stay mad at you." she admitted, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"I..." Moxxie trailed off in confusion.
Alastor slowly wrapped his arms around Y/n's waist.
"Mills, start planning a funeral." Blitzo scoffed.
Before any of the trio could say another word, he had lifted her off her feet and was spinning her in the air.
"Al!" Y/n shrieked through her laughter, "Stop it! You'll mess up my hair!"
He set her down again and the pair released each other.
"You menace." Y/n shook her head, still laughing, "It's like you knew I was thinking of you."
"You were, were you?" he teased, leaning down to her level.
"Y/n, do you know the Radio Demon?" Millie interrupted, taking a step forward.
Both Alastor and Y/n turned to face her.
"What, this old freak?" she asked, elbowing him gently.
"I resent that." Alastor hummed and Y/n laughed again, her joy unbridaled.
"Yeah, we're friends." Y/n confirmed, catching the genuine concern in her friend's eyes, "Known each other for about as long as I've been down here."
Alastor nodded as Y/n looked back up at him.
"Speaking of the old days," he hummed, looking her up and down, "what's this new look you've got?"
"Huh?" Y/n looked down at her clothes before turning and meeting his eyes once again, "Oh, I'm an assassin now."
"No no no, my dear." he shook his head, "This simply wont do. I can't have you wandering around looking like some ragamuffin."
Alastor snapped his fingers and Y/n looked down to see she was wearing a dress now. She almost yelled at him, almost tore him a new one and called him a dick. Then she realized what dress it was she was wearing. Y/n looked up at Alastor with wide eyes.
"This is..."
"The dress you murdered your husband in, yes."
Y/n squealed, throwing her arms around Alastor's neck and pulling him in for another tight hug that he reluctantly accepted. Letting him go, she spun around, watching the way the skit splayed out from her legs.
"You remembered! Oh, Alastor! Thank you."
"The fuck." Blitzo muttered to himself, watching the scene playing out before him.
Y/n beamed up at him as Alastor raised a claw, looping it through the circle on the collar Y/n still wore. All of her other accessories and clothing had vanished, as he had intended, except for this. He hummed thoughtfully and Y/n's cheeks grew hot with shame. She looked away.
"What's this then?" he asked, letting the ring fall from his finger.
It hit the leather of the collar with a quiet thud.
"Look, I... made some bad choices." Y/n sighed, refusing to meet his eyes, "A physical sign of a very real metaphysical decision I had to make."
"Quite possessive, to cast a spell like that." Alastor mused, "You always had a thing for that though, didn't you."
Y/n raised her arms, wrapping them tightly around her body at the harsh remark. She made to move away from him but, as she did, Alastor grabbed Y/n's chin, forcing her to look at him. He watched her expression carefully.
"You could have come to me. You know I would have taken that delectable little soul off your hands in a moment."
"Yeah well, you weren't here." Y/n firmly stated, taking a step back so he no longer held her, "I did what I had to do to survive."
Alastor raised his eyebrows.
"And who exactly did you make this... bad decision with?"
"Al, can we please talk about this later?"
"They don't know, do they."
"They do." Y/n insisted, "I just... please, not now."
"Fine." Alastor relented after a moment.
The pair fell silent, Alastor's critical gaze interlocked with Y/n's indignant one.
"Sooo," Blitzo began, breaking the awkward silence and drawing the attention of the room off the pair and onto him as he took a step forward, coming to a stop beside Millie, "you two fucking?"
"Jesus, Sir!?" Moxxie exclaimed in shock.
"You can't be serious, right?" Y/n laughed in surprise, "No, Blitzo, we're not fucking. The day Alastor has a sex drive is the day Heaven is overrun by... I don't know, giant killer bees?"
"It's more likely than you think, dear."
"What's that-"
Alastor cut her off mid sentence, placing a hand over her mouth as he caught the images flashing across the TV on the other side of the room.
"Hey, rude." Y/n scoffed, pulling herself from his grip.
Alastor ignored her. With a flick of his finger, he raised the volume on the TV. At the sight of his narrowed eyes and tight smile, Y/n turned to see what exactly was bothering him so much.

Where Ghosts Linger Obsessed!Simon x fem!Reader
In honor of both kinktober and spooktober, Iâve stepped out of my comfort zone to write something darker. Imagining Simon in this twisted scenario wasnât easy, but I wanted to push the boundaries and see where it would take me. Hope you enjoy this eerie little experiment!
TW: contains themes of obsession, depression, alcoholism, violence, child abuse, self-harm and non-consensual behavior. It includes dark psychological elements and emotional distress. Please read with caution.
London. Fucking London.
A city that thrived on misery and despair, where the air was thick with the stench of piss and where Simon Riley found himself suffocating in his own personal hell. He hated the crowded streets, the gray, lifeless sky, and the dirty rain that seemed to wash away any trace of hope. London was a festering wound, and Simon was stuck in it, rotting from the inside out.
His apartment was a reflection of that rot. A shithole in Southwark that was as neglected as he was. The landlord didnât give a shit about it, and neither did Simon. Why bother? This place was a bloody tomb, and he was just another fucking corpse waiting to decompose in it. The walls were stained with years of filth and smoke, the paint peeling off like the skin of some dying beast. He lived in dirt, where he belonged, surrounded by the remnants of a life that felt like it belonged to someone else.
The medals on the shelf, once a source of pride, now sat gathering dust, their shine dulled by time and indifference. A painful reminder of who he had been, and who he would never be again. Heâd been an elite soldier, a protector, a fucking weapon. But that life was over, dead and buried just like the people heâd failed to protect.
Now, he was nothing but a broken-down wreck, a ghost haunting the ruins of his own past.
How pathetic.
It had been a year since the army had tossed him out on his arse, like a piece of shit they couldnât be bothered to flush. âEarly retirementâ was the official story, but Simon knew better. Heâd seen their looks, heard their whispers. They thought he was broken, fucked in the head. And they were right. The nightmares, the flashbacks, the undying rage that simmered just below the surface of his inked skin, ready to explode at the slightest provocationâthey were all signs that something inside him had snapped. And it had.
The day Johnny died, the last bit of humanity in him had died too.
All that was left was anger, grief, and a deep hatred for the world and himself.
The military forced him out after he nearly killed a rookie during a training exercise. He could still hear the bone breaking, still feel the flesh tearing under his bare hand. It had taken four men to pull Simon off, and even then, heâd been like a rabid dog, snarling and spitting, desperate to finish what heâd started.
After that, there was no saving him. They gave him some bullshit about ârest and recovery,â about how he needed to âtake time for himself.â But he knew what they meant. They wanted him gone, out of sight, out of mind. Another broken soldier thrown on the scrap heap, just another casualty of a war that never really ended.
Most days, he was angry. So fucking angry that it felt like he was burning from the inside out, like his veins were full of liquid fire.
Heâd go out looking for something, anything to let the rage out before it consumed him. Heâd pick fights in pubs, in alleys, in abandoned sites, anywhere he could find some poor bastard who looked at him the wrong way. It didnât matter if he won or lost either.
On the days when the anger wasnât there, he felt nothing.
Just a cold, hollow emptiness that left him numb and disconnected from everything. Those were the days when he couldnât bring himself to leave his soulless flat, when heâd sit in that creaky old armchair and drink himself into oblivion with cheap whiskey.
Those were the days he feared the most tooâthe days when he didnât care if he lived or died, when the gun in the drawer seemed like the only way out of the endless nightmare.
Something always stopped him before he could pull the trigger.
Maybe it was cowardice, or maybe it was some small, stubborn part of him that still clung to life, even though he didnât know why. Whatever it was, it kept him going, kept him trapped in this limbo of existence. He would get up, go through the motions, take his pills, and try to convince himself that tomorrow might be different, even though he knew it wouldnât be.
Sometimes, he tried to fight it and hold on to some semblance of a life. Heâd wake up at dawn, like he used to, force himself to shave, to shower, to eat. Heâd try to follow the old routine, the one that had kept him sane during all those years of deployment.
However, it never worked. Heâd been a soldier, a man with purpose, but now he was nothing. Just a useless, sick in the head, broken piece of shit, abandoned by the only thing that had ever given his miserable life any meaning.
To ease the pain, he walked during the night and slept through the day. The only time he could find any peace was under the dark sky, the only time the voices in his head quieted down, even if just for a little while. Sometimes he was drunk, stumbling through the dirty streets like a wraith, barely able to keep himself upright. Other times, he was sober, the cold night air cutting through the fog in his mind, sharpening the edges of his thoughts. He wandered the shitty, empty streets of the worst parts of London for hours, sometimes until the sun started to rise, trying to outrun the demons that haunted him.
It was on one of those nights when he saw you for the first time.
It was a cold, damp night in October, the kind that seeped into your bones and made you feel like you would never be warm again. He was sober, or maybe he just felt that way due to the cold, because for once his mind clearer than it had been for a seemingly endless year.
His fatherâs face flashed before his eyes, twisted and angry, the same expression the bastard always wore when he was about to beat the living shit out of him. Simon could almost feel the blows, the sting of the belt, the sharp pain of a fist connecting with his ribs. Heâd learned early on not to cry. Crying only made it worse. So heâd learned to take it like a man, to bury the pain deep down where it couldnât touch him. But that pain had never really gone away. It had just festered, turned into something dark and ugly that had followed him his whole life.
And then there was the memory that haunted him most of all.
The day heâd come home to find lifeless bodies in his childhood home, his family slaughtered because of him. Because of a bloody mission that had gone sideways, because he hadnât been fast enough, smart enough, good enough. Heâd dug himself out of a grave with a fucking rotting jaw, only to find his brother, his dear mother, his baby nephewâall of them dead, butchered like mere animals because of him. He will never forget the sweet, nose-wrenching stench of corpses and blood that filled the house.
That was the day Simon Riley had died.
The day Ghost had been born.
He was so lost in these thoughts that he almost walked right past you. How could he do that?
Walk past you.
Oh you. You were standing under a rusty streetlamp, the rain forming a mist around you that caught the orange light in a soft, golden halo. For a moment, Simon thought he was seeing things. Maybe he wasnât as sober as he thought, and the whiskey heâd downed earlier was playing tricks on him. Because you didnt look real.
You looked like something out of a dream. A hallucination.
You were dressed simply, in clothes that were too thin for the cold weather, but Simon barely noticed. It was your face that held his attention, the way the light played across your skin, making it glow against the backdrop of the city. Your hair was wet, locks sticking to your cheeks and shoulders, but you made no effort to brush them away. They hid your eyes for a moment before you shifted slightly, looking down at your phone and he saw themâeyes that seemed to stare right into his pathetic soul.
For a seemingly endless moment, Simon just stood there, staring at you, feeling like the ground had been pulled out from under him.
You didnât belong here, in this ugly, rundown part of London, in the middle of a miserable night. And then, out of the blue, a sudden, crazy thought flickered through his broken mind.
Maybe you were waiting for him.
The thought was absurd, ridiculous even, but it latched onto Simon's twisted mind with the tenacity of a pitbull, refusing to let go. Maybe you were there for him, a bloody angel in the midst of this wretched city, just standing there in the piss-poor rain as if you didn't belong to the same shitty world that had turned him into this... thing.
This broken, hollow shell of a man.
He shook his head, trying to clear the fog of desperation that clouded his better judgment, but it didnât help. The sight of you had triggered something deep inside him, something he hadnât felt ever. It was like a spark had been ignited in the pitch-black darkness of his mind, a tiny flicker of light that he was terrified would go out if he didnât hold on to it. Maybe it was the booze still swirling in his body, maybe it was the years of torment and guilt twisting his brain into knots, but he couldnât stop thinking about it. He couldnât stop himself from believing, if only for a moment, that you were meant for him.
He took a step closer, the soles of his black boots splashing in the cold, dirty puddles on the pavement, but you didnât seem to notice.
Simonâs pulse quickened, his breath shallow and uneven as he moved closer, his steps soundless despite the wet pavement beneath him. He surveyed the area with practiced eyes. The street was empty, a desolate stretch of asphalt and crumbling brick, lined with decrepit buildings that looked like they hadnât seen a lick of care in decades. There were no people nearby, no signs of life in the windows above.
Just him and you, alone in this forgotten corner of the city.
You were still oblivious to his presence, lost in whatever was on that bloody phone of yours. He watched you, hazel eyes narrowing as he considered his next move. He wasnât sure what he wanted to do. Part of him just wanted to get closer, to see you more clearly. But there was another part of him, a darker part, that wanted more.
Simon moved closer, every step deliberate, controlled.
He felt like a predator stalking his prey, his military training coming back to him in full force. It was second nature to him now, the way his mind cataloged every detail, every possible threat or escape route. He had been trained to hunt, to go for the throat, to eliminate, and those instincts were hardwired into his core, impossible to shake even after all this time. The lines blurred in his mind, his thoughts tangling up in the memories of past missions, of dark nights spent creeping through hostile territory, of the adrenaline that surged through him when he was on the hunt.
For a brief second, Simon could almost hear his old captainâs gruff voice echo in the hollow of his mindâa special forces operatorâs worth is tested in blood. The words twisted in his chest, cold as the barrel of his rifle, his breath catching in his throat. A phantom touch grazed his shoulder, and for a heartbeat, he could almost feel Gaz thereâtapping lightly to signal the breach. His brother, always at his side. But no, not anymore. He must be a lieutenant now...
Simon blinked hard, forcing the ghosts back into the shadows.
He focused on you instead, the only anchor left in the storm.
Just as he was about to take another careful step, a sharp, sudden sound shattered the stillness of the night. Your phone rang, the shrill tone cutting through the silence like a knife. Simon froze, instinctively ducking behind the wreck of an old, rusted car parked at the edge of the street. Your lovely voice was tinged with frustration as you spoke. It was quiet, almost too quiet, yet it clung to the air with a strange sweetness that made his breath falter.
In that moment, something in him shiftedâlike a taut wire snapped loose, vibrating through his chest. It was an obsession born not of choice, but of instinct.
âDerek? Where are you?â
Derek.
Simonâs stomach twisted at the sound of the name. He could feel the anger bubbling up inside him, hot and vicious, as he imagined that bastard leaving you out here, alone in the dark, like you were nothing. You were too good for this shithole. And Derek, whoever the fuck he was, had left you, you out of all people, stranded.
Simonâs hands clenched into fists, the leather of his gloves creaking as he fought to keep his temper in check.
âNo, I told you I didnât know this area,â you said, pacing back and forth, the anxiety clear in your every movement. Your tone was sharp, but beneath it, however, Simon could hear the fear creeping in. âNo, Iâve been wandering around for an hour! Iâm lost, Derek, and this place is creeping me out. I donât know where I am. Help me, please."
Simon felt a surge of protectiveness, mingled with fury.
Of course you were creeped out. You should be. This was no place for someone like you. You were lucky, though. So damn lucky that Simon had been the one to find you, that it wasnât some thug or worse, some twisted bastard whoâd see you as easy prey. Oh no, you were safe with him, even if you didnât know it.
Safe from everything except him.
âI donât care about the discount in the pub, come on,â you huffed, your voice trembling a bit, now tinged with a note of desperation that made Simonâs chest tighten painfully. âThe guys will understand, Iâm sure. Please, just come and help me.â
Simon could almost hear Derekâs response in his headâa lazy, careless dismissal, maybe a drunken laugh as he waved off your concerns. The thought made Simonâs blood boil.
Derek didnât deserve you.
Didnât deserve to be anywhere near you, didnât deserve to breathe the same air as you. You were precious, an angel in a city full of demons, and that bastard was too fucking stupid to appreciate you. If Simon ever got his hands on him, heâd make sure Derek knew exactly what kind of danger heâd put you in. Heâd break every bone in his worthless body, make him pay for every second youâd been left out here to fend for yourself.
âI told you I couldnât come tonight, but you insisted, so I did,â you continued, your voice growing more strained with every word. âI need your help. Please, come and pick me up. Iâve got work in the morning, I donât feel really good and I really need to get home. What? Yeah, Iâm a little bit tipsy, so what? Iâm lost. Please.â
Simonâs jaw tightened as he listened to you, the anger simmering just beneath the surface. You were begging now, practically pleading and it made his skin crawl.
You shouldnât have to beg. Not for something like this.
You deserved better, so much better. You deserve someone who would move heaven and earth to keep you safe, to make sure you were never in a situation like this in the first place. Simon wasnât good for much anymore, but he knew how to protect. He knew how to take care of those he cared aboutâheâd spent his whole life doing it, even if it had all gone to shit in the end.
But Derek clearly wasnât that man.
Simon could hear the frustration in your voice as you asked, âYou called a taxi? Really? You couldnât just come?â
There was a long pause, and he could feel his heart beating faster, his muscles tensing as he waited for your reaction.
When you finally spoke again, your voice was much softer, much resigned. âOkay. Fine. Weâll meet tomorrow, then.â
You ended the call with a deep sigh.
For a moment, you just stood there, staring at the ground, your shoulders slumped in defeat. Simon watched you from his hiding spot, his mind racing. The deadly fury he felt toward the pathetic excuse of a man you were speaking with was almost overwhelming, but underneath it, there was something elseâsomething darker and more insidious. A need to be the one you turned to, the only one you could rely on. He wanted to be the one who took care of you, who made sure you never had to feel this way again.
But he couldnât just walk up to you, not now. Not yet. You were too vulnerable, too raw, and he didnât want to scare you off. He had to be careful and had to find the right way to approach you. You needed to see him as a protector, not as a threat. His mind was a mess of emotions, the anger, the need and the sick sense of possessiveness all tangled up together. He couldnât let that control him. He had to be smart about this, had to play it right.
Simon took a deep breath, forcing himself to think clearly.
He had to be smart about this, had to think like the fucking special forces operator he once was.
The shadows of his old life clung to him, and in the quiet of his mind, he could almost hear Priceâs voice barking ordersâto scrape up every damn thing he could find. That was his mission now, wasnât it? To know you. To learn your name, where you lived, where you worked, every inch of your life, mapped out like terrain before a strike. It was the instinct that kicked in, something so ingrained it almost felt like muscle memory.
Johnny would have definitely teased him for his honest mistakeââforgetting the basics, Lt.,ââhis voice mocking, lighthearted, but Simon couldnât let this slip through his fingers. He needed to know everything. You were his target, but not to eliminate.
His heart pounded in his chest as he watched you from his hiding spot. The rain continued to fall, pattering against the metal roofs, but Simon barely registered the cold droplets soaking through his clothes. All his focus was on you, every nerve in his body attuned to your slightest movement. You stood there, alone and vulnerable.
He inched closer, moving with the same precision and silence that had once made him a ghost on the battlefield.
Despite his sizeâbroad shoulders, heavy muscles that made him look more like a walking tank than a manâhe moved with an eerie grace, his footsteps soundless on the wet pavement. Decades of military training had taught him how to blend into the shadows, how to become part of the night, after all.
He was close now, too close to risk you noticing him, so he stayed low, hidden behind the wrecked row of cars. He couldnât see you anymore and that frustrated him to no end. It was like torture, being this close and yet so far, but he knew he had to wait. Patience was something heâd learned the hard way, and now it was paying off.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, a taxi pulled up to the curb. Simonâs heart skipped a beat, his pulse quickening as the carâs headlights cut through the darkness. He heard the window of the vehicle roll down, the driverâs voice breaking the tension in the air.
The driver called out, his voice hoarse but polite.
And he said your name.
It hit Simon like a sledgehammer, echoing in his broken mind, searing itself into his memory. He repeated it to himself, over and over, like a mantra. He would never forget it for the rest of his miserable life. He would burn down entire cities to remember it.Â
âYes, thatâs me,â you replied, her voice softer now, but Simon caught every word, hanging on to them like they were the most important thing heâd ever heard.
He strained to catch the rest of the conversation, hoping for more clues, more intel. You murmured something about the old market in downtown London to the taxi driver, and Simonâs mind raced, trying to piece together what little he knew. The old marketâthat could be a clue, a starting point. It wasnât much, but it was something.
And right now, that something was all he needed.
The door of the taxi shut with a soft thud, and Simon was left alone in the dark, empty street, the rain falling steadily around him, soaking him to the bone. But he didnât care. All he could think about was the name that now echoed in his mind, the name that had given him a purpose, a reason to keep going.
He had a name. He had a direction.
As the taxi drove away, its taillights disappearing into the night, Simon finally let out the breath heâd been holding.
His muscles ached from the tension, but there was a strange sense of relief that washed over him, a feeling of liberation. He had something to hold on to now, something tangible. He knew your name. He knew your name, and that meant everything.
He stood there, letting the rain wash over him, his mind buzzing with possibilities. He could find you, he could get close to you. He wasnât the man for you now, but he could become the man you needed. He could become your provider, your guardian, the savior you deserved. He could protect you, keep you safe, take care of you, and in return, you would give him the thing he craved the most.
A reason to live.
You didnât know it yet, but you were about to become the most important person in Simon Rileyâs life. And he wasnât going to let anything or anyone stand in the way of that. The storm that had raged inside him for so long had quieted, leaving behind a cold and unyielding determination. He had a purpose now, a mission. One he had to see through alone. Price would have approved, Simon was sure of itâGaz and Soap too. He could almost feel them at his back, their shadows guiding him forward.
This wasnât for them, though. This was for him.
For the part of him still capable of feeling something other than anger. He would find you again, and when he did, you would never be alone, vulnerable, or scared again.
Because Simon Riley was a man who protected what was his.
And you were his.

one thing that adds to credibility of Paul being closeted imo, is that often he is thought of as having this internalised homophobia, if not homophobia itself, because he always mentions how un-gay he is whenever some gay subject comes up in interviews
but like, there are so many things that disprove him being homophobic, it's not even funny. going to Paris alone with gay men? Paul did that two times (three if we count John lol) and that Peter Brown story is incrediblyy suspect. what homophobic man, scared of gay, sits on the bed of his male employee and his male fling that casually late at night in his hotel room and chats them up?
most likely reason, combined with his incredibly suspect lyrics, is that he is so defensive about his sexuality because he has something to hide
THATS WHAT IIIIIM SAYING!!!! like he is so comfortable w gay people and gay culture which on its own isn't suspect but it Is when people insist he's homophobic as a Reason He's Repressed Not Closeted. and once again I must remind everyone that john nearly beat a man to death for calling him gay and was still undeniably queer.
it's just like. imagine for a moment. with me. everyone hold my hand. not claiming this is true but walk w me along this path to get to current paul that isn't "he's just repressed and stupid and doesn't even know he's bi" but is instead MY speculative timeline (somehow this turned into a mini fic or something god help me but I'M SO SERIOUS IM SO SERIOUS THIS WOULD MAKE THE MOST SENSE TO ME WALK WITH ME HOLD MY HAND)
you are born in the 1940s. you are raised by a strict man who was physically abusive & in a culture that hates gay people. you grow up watching people get killed for being queer and being bullied over your feminine features that people think make you queer. you hit puberty and Shit Gets Harder because you start finding other men hot. elvis, for one! when you're 15 you start seeing a boy around that you think is hot and it turns out he's in a band and you fall in love with his looks and his voice and then him. and he's just as insane about you. you start doing increasingly sexual things together. eventually, you're having a full blown sexual affair. while writing love songs together and growing up together. and then he gets his girlfriend pregnant. and marries her. and you lose him, a little bit. he goes off and has an affair with your gay manager & when he gets home he ruins your birthday party by nearly beating a man to death for bringing it up. you wonder what he'd do if anyone found out about the two of you too.
and then the insane happens and you end up The Most Famous Band In The World. the ENTIRE world is watching your every move. the entire world loves you. they wouldn't love you if they knew. you get a girlfriend and it's convenient because she's always gone and you're always alone. but you still have him. and other girls. through everything, you have each other. even when he says something stupid and the world wants all of your heads on a platter and he starts to fall into a depression, you still have each other. even if now you Know how bad it could be if they ever found out. and then your manager, your father figure, an openly gay man, dies. and it's not a suicide, but a lot of people think it is, and sometimes you wonder, and fuck it's terrifying, isn't it? the reality of your life, the reality of loving Him, the reality of being queer. what if that winds up being You? you start to lose Him a little bit more as you throw yourself into your work and push everyone way too hard. you propose to your girlfriend. and then you do lose Him. to a woman. which was sort of unthinkable because he was already married and never cared about her, just you. never cared about any women, just you. but he cares about Her. and you fucking lose your mind. lose yourself in drugs. blow up your engagement. propose to another girl and many more "jokingly". your one girlfriend says you had to try again or you would have gone "raving queer" and killed yourself. the whole time you're losing Him more and more. suddenly he's looking at Her like he used to look at you. you're no longer his world and what the fuck do you have? a bunch of girls you don't care about and a drug problem? and then you meet a woman who, according to you, is more woman than anyone else. she's a mother already, a family ready made when you've always wanted one. she's smart and she's funny and she's quick and you let yourself cling to her because you don't have Him and he has Her so you've got to have someone, don't you? and she winds up pregnant and that's great, that's wonderful, you're no longer in danger of dying alone and queer and sad. you've lost Him by now completely, even though you have about a month where things feel a little less awful again and you perform together one last time. you marry her and you ASK people, flat out, if they expected you to be a 26 year old unmarried queer. you fight the night before you're married for some unknown reason, so badly she almost leaves you. and then He marries Her, and everything is fine. and then it all falls apart completely. you at least had Him as your friend, your writing partner, the other half of you legally. and then he asks for a divorce. and the world ends. you don't have the band, you don't have Him, you don't have anything. you stay in bed all day, drinking, miserable. like a breakup, not just of the band.
eventually, your wife pulls you out of it. you survive. you start writing again. you write to him. you put two beetles fucking on the cover of your second album and he thinks a song you wrote about your wife's ex is about him (and maybe it is, a little) and he shoots right back. and you keep that up for a decade. writing to each other. seeing each other only in the news and in snatched moments together where nothing is the same as it was. you plead with him through your music: why do you hurt me so bad? call me, pretty baby. I'm waking up screaming over you. I can't tell you how I feel. you try and make things like they were, even a little, showing up to his house with your guitar like you're 15 again, but he sends you away. in all that time, he's basically gone to conversion therapy. he's with someone who makes disparaging remarks about his sexuality. for you, you've let yourself embrace being a bit campy, but you still can't bring yourself to be open about any of it. not with anyone but your wife.
and then you start talking again. you make up. things seem hopeful. it seems like he might still love you and he writes you a song about starting over with you. and then he's murdered. and it's senseless. it's so so senseless. and it's unfair. you lock yourself away for days listening to that song he wrote you. the media tears you apart for grieving wrong. they wish you died instead. they think you're cold. you never loved him, not like he loved you. you write a song, with tear marks on the page, telling him how much you DID love him. all the things you'd say to him if he were there with you. you write more songs about that, all centered around that theme. some of them you say are about him. others you don't. once, you say if anyone catches on you can just deny it. but he wrote you love songs too, apparently, for you, and you eventually record them with your old band
and the thing is, You are one of his widows. his name follows yours every time it leaves someone's mouth. he's all anyone ever talks about with you. he's all you want to talk about too. his legacy is your legacy. he's no longer here to tell people about his sexuality, he's no longer here to consent to everything that you were being told. he's not here. and how can you even begin to mention Your Own sexuality without bringing him up? you owe him more than outing him in death. you owe Her more than that too, because you were already cruel to her and so was the world. she's grieving just like you, you can't do that. your wife dies, and now you're her legacy too and you being queer would seem like a betrayal to her. your best friend dies, and now he's your legacy too. you aren't just you- you're Him, you're 1/2 of the living members of the most famous band to ever exist, you're Her, you're your dead wife
so when someone asks you about him. when someone asks you about being gay or calls him the love of your life. What Exactly Are You Supposed To Say?
I wouldn't say shit either
#this got so long I just have a lot of feelings about paul if. you couldn't tell.#this is all PURE speculation btw. it's just the way I feel it would go if. he were closeted and they were fucking#a if you give a mouse a cookie type ramble#mclennon

â âÂ
You had been with the Kid Pirates for half a year now and during these six months youâve learned the inner workings of the crew and the Victoria Punk herself. You knew that the best place to take a nap was in the storeroom next to the kitchen. You knew that Heat and Wire have had a game of Dungeons and Dragons going on for the past 6 years and they play every Friday evening. You knew that Killer hated when you left food on your plate at the end of a meal claiming that âa girl needs her strength.â You knew that every morning at 10:00 AM sharp, Captain Kid would render the shipâs only bathroom unusable for at least the next hour.Â
There was something that was still a mystery to you.Â
You had never seen Killer without his mask.Â
It was something you had wondered about ever since you first met the crewâs first mate. Was he horrifically ugly? Maybe covered in scars? Why did he hide himself from the world? He was always the kindest to you of all the Kid Pirates, making sure you were fed and had supplies you needed when you first joined the crew. Your crude captain left a lot to be desired in terms of intelligent conversation, but in contrast, Killer would inquire about the book you were reading or if you needed a late night snack.Â
Tonight you were drawn into the kitchen by the delicious smell of garlic and onions being sautĂŠed in oil and butter. You enter the galley and canât help but flit over to the stove where Killer was diligently working. You lean over the pot of boiling pasta water and the steam feels nice on your dry, salt-worn skin.Â
âMmmmm, smells so yummy, Kil!â He was nearly a foot taller than you, so it was easy to sneak in-between him and the stove to get a better whiff of his decadent culinary creations.Â
You feel his massive chest behind you vibrate as he chuckles.Â
âThank you, little one. I hope youâre hungry.âÂ
*SLAM*Â
âHey, that shit smells good!â Kid exclaims as he barrels into the kitchen, slightly drunk already. Killer whips his head around to look at his captain. You take this moment to lean your head back and try to peek under the gap between his chin and his mask. You strain your eyes but all you can see is darkness. Your efforts are quickly thwarted as Killer returns his attention to the stove to stir the pasta.Â
âAre you making that thing I like? The spaghetti cars banana?â Kid asks as he takes a sip of his beer.Â
Killer sighs.Â
âCarbonara. Itâs carbonara, for the last fucking time.â Killer looks down at you. âDinnerâs almost ready, why donât you wait at the table?â
You smile up at him, searching the holes in his mask for any clue at his expression. You nod and proceed to set the dining table for the evening meal.Â
â âÂ
After you had your fill of wine and pasta (making sure to gesture to Killer and show him your clean plate to which he gives you a playful thumbs up), you decided youâd treat yourself to a hot bath. You were sure that the rest of the crew would spend the rest of the night drinking themselves stupid so you could enjoy a quiet bath in peace.Â
You stroll into the bathroom with your towel and lay it next to the tub. You put the plug in and get the hot water started. You search the cabinets for some sort of bubble bath, but end of having to settle on an unmarked bottle of body wash. You pour the soap into the bath and white, fluffy bubbles start to form on the surface of the water.Â
Once the tub was full, you shut off the water and stripped yourself of your filthy, ocean-smelling clothes. You step into the steaming water one foot at a time and gently lower yourself into the bathtub. As soon as youâre settled with your head leaning against the edge of the tub you release a deep sigh.Â
After a few minutes of soaking, you find yourself almost drifting off. The doorknob clicking open snapped you out of your daze. The wooden bathroom door creaked open and Killer stepped inside the bathroom.Â
You instinctively cover your breasts with your hands, but it goes unnoticed by the intruder who went straight for the sink and counter on the opposite side of the room. You realize that he hasnât even noticed your presence so you hold your breath, not wanting to startle or upset him. He stands at the sink for a moment with his hands gripping the counter.Â
He then raises his hands and reaches for the back of his head.Â
Oh my god. He was taking his mask off.
You were paralyzed, breath caught in your chest, eyes locked on the golden locks spilling from behind the mask. He leans down and pulls the mask off and leaves it on the counter to his right. You involuntarily slap your hand over your mouth in surprise.Â
You eyes are fixed on the bathroom mirror when you see a pair of angled, sharp blue eyes staring back at you in it.Â
âI know youâre there, little one.âÂ
You gasp. You still canât move, stuck staring into those enchanting eyes. The only other things you could see were worn white bandages and messy blonde hair cascading from atop his head.Â
âCome on out now⌠I want to show you something.â Killer says without turning around.Â
You were mesmerized by his sweet voice, so you obeyed and stood up and stepped out of the tub. You dried off quickly and wrapped your towel around your torso before Killer interrupted you.Â
âYou wonât need that. Leave it. Come here.âÂ
You drop the towel and hesitantly approach the man at the sink, his muscles rippling in his back through his blue tee shirt.Â
âJump up here. I want you to help me take the bandages off.â Killer pats the counter to his left.Â
You were frozen in place and your eyes were glued to the floor, so anxious about seeing his face.Â
âBe a good girl and listen. Up.â Killer pats the counter again, more forcefully this time.Â
âYes, KilâŚâ You squeak and turn around and use the heels of your hands to pull yourself up onto the counter. You still wouldât look up.Â
âItâs ok⌠you can lookâŚâ Killer puts his hand over yours as it rested on the counter. You slowly raise your head and see a face covered in bandages, the only parts exposed being a thick pair of dark plum lips and those piercing eyes you saw staring at you from the mirror. You suck in a breath.Â
âHere..â Killer pulls your hand and places one of the edges of the bandage in it and helped you begin to unravel it. With each pass of your hand across his face, Killer strokes up and down your bare thigh, causing you to open your legs involuntarily.Â
With no sounds other than your own heavy breathing, you finally reveal Killerâs face. You gasp as you pull your hand to back your chest. He was so beautiful. His bright eyes such a contrast against his olive tanned skin. His chin was chiseled and his nose was pointed so sharply. You also notice faint scars littering his cheeks, similar to the ones on his left arm. You didnât care, he was still handsome to you.Â
âKiller⌠youâre⌠so prettyâŚâ You reach a hand up and gingerly touch his cheek. He smiles softly. You curse him silently for keeping that smile from you for so long. He laughs and nuzzles into your hand.Â
âNot as pretty as you, little one. Will you let me see you, too?â
âW-what do you mean?â You question.Â
âPut your legs up, spread yourself for me.â He states as he starts bending your knees to place your feet on the counter at your sides, widely exposing your most intimate area to him. You feel blush fill your cheeks and the tip of your nose.Â
âMmm⌠now thatâs prettyâŚâ Killer coos as he slides his huge hand down your inner thigh to stroke up and down your slit with his thumb, sticky slick coating his digit. You find yourself shivering in anticipation under his touch. He begins focusing his movements on your clit as he rubs it in agonizingly slow circles, working you up at a painful pace.Â
You canât do anything but pant heavily and stare at his hand caressing your naked sex.Â
âLook at me.â Killer demands. You oblige and look up at his exposed face. Your mouth hangs open as you keep his gaze, his rough thumb on your clit driving your crazy.Â
âKillerâŚâ You whimper up at him.Â
âYouâre so wet, sweet girl. So ready to get stretched out, hmm?â His lips curl into a devious smirk.Â
You nod dumbly without breaking eye contact.Â
Killer plunges two large fingers into your soaked hole and immediately curls them up into your spot.Â
âShit, Kil!â You cry out and grab his bicep with one hand, supporting yourself on your other palm. He pulls and tugs his fingers repeatedly inside of you while grinding the base of his hand into your clit.Â
âI canât hold it! Iâm gonna! Fuck, Killer!â You whine loudly as you feel the coil in your belly tighten dangerously. You slam your eyes shut and grab onto his arm with both hands, leaning forward into him for support.Â
âThatâs good little one, hold onto me, just let go for meâŚâÂ
âOH FUCK!â You cry out and fluids spray out of your body onto both Killer and the bathroom floor. Your core squeezes and spasms, tears threatening to spill from your eyes as Killer helps you through your orgasm by whispering sweet nothings into your ear.Â
Slumped over into his shoulder, Killer removes his fingers from your core and scoops you up in one arm off the counter.
âYou did such a good job, cumming so nicely for me. Think you can take my cock now?â Killer asks as he hikes you up in his grip, forcing you to look at him again.Â
âYes, I want it, pleaseâŚâ You say softly, still coming down from your previous high.Â
âPerfect.â Killer chuckles and turns to carry you to the table that you usually used for folding laundry. He lays your naked, flushed form gently down on the surface of the table and rips his shirt over his head. He quickly unbuckles his belt and shuffles his jeans down his legs and steps out of them. His huge dick bobs in your direction, uncut tip red and leaking.Â
âIt⌠itâs not gonna fitâŚâ You breath out as you stare in awe at his member while sitting up on your elbows.Â
Killer grins again and steps between your spread legs, slapping his cock on your abdomen, showing exactly how deep it was supposed to go inside of you. You audibly whimper at the thought.Â
âSweetheart⌠you like being a good girl, right?â He coos down at you, his massive frame eclipsing most of the light in the room. He rubs soothing circles into your hip with his hand.
âMhmmâŚâ You sheepishly nod.Â
âSo youâre gonna lay there and take this whole cock in that tight little cunt of yours like a good girl, hmm?â He teases as he pulls back and guides his tip to rub up and down on your clit.Â
âMmmmhmmmmâ You whine and buck your hips up into his touch. Killer uses this permission to press his heavy cockhead into your soaked opening. Inch by inch he splits your body open, the stretch causing you to moan out.Â
âThatâs right, little one⌠feels good, doesnât it?â Killer reaches up a huge palm to squeeze and pinch your sensitive nipple.Â
âFuck, Kil! So full!â You squeeze your eyes shut and try to relax on his giant member.Â
âOh, my sweet baby, Iâm not even all the way in yet!â Killer gives you a sinister laugh. He takes his opportunity to push his hips flush against yours and your writhe and cry from the sensation. You had never been this full in your life, he was truly stuffing you to your limits and it felt so good. He rubs your clit with one hand as he pulls back out, groaning lowly as he feels your cunt desperately cling to him and try to suck his member back in.Â
Killer begins thrusting his hips, keeping most of himself sheathed deep inside of your walls and his hand gripped your waist to pull you back into him with each thrust.Â
âAh!â You moan and whine, grabbing and scratching at Killerâs broad chest as he molds your insides to the shape of his cock. You could barely breath, the man inside of you so large that you felt like he was in your chest. Killer speeds up his ministrations on your swollen clit.Â
âCome on sweetheart⌠I feel you squeezing me, youâre close againâŚâ Killer picks up the pace of his thrusts and you shriek out at the force of his hips slamming into your ass and thighs. âFucking give it to me!â Killer presses harder into your clit and you scream and explode for the second time that night, for the first time on his cock.Â
Tears were now freely flowing down your red cheeks and you could no longer form a coherent thought, let alone a sentence. You were a babbling, bouncing mess being speared by Killerâs massive girth. You were so dick drunk that your eyes were rolling back in your head.Â
âMore, more, more, more!â You slur out from your helpless state, spread out on the laundry table.Â
âWhat a greedy little pussy⌠so fucked out and you want more? Want me to fill you, my sweet girl? Make sure you feel me for daysâŚâ Killer punctuated his last sentence with a push to your lower stomach.Â
âUh huh! Kil, please! Cum inside!â You try to nod your head but the force of Killerâs strokes made it nearly impossible.Â
âHnnngggâŚâ Killer slams his hips deep into yours and blows his heavy load into your wet, waiting walls. He leans down and buries his head in the crook of your neck as his cock still twitches inside of you. As his orgasm subsides, he sighs and slowly pulls out of your spent cunt, leaving a heavy stream of semen to pour out of your hole. He holds himself up above your head and looks down at you and smiles.Â
You smile back. You lift a shaky hand and cup his cheek.Â
âItâs youâŚâ You whisper as he gazes affectionately into your eyes.Â
âIt is me. And youâre mine now.â Killer says. Before he pushes himself off the table and grabs your towel to wrap around his waist. After fastening the towel securely he grabs you by your sides off the table and throws your nude body over his shoulder. He carries you out of the bathroom, presumably to his bedroom.Â
âWhat the fuck Killer?â Kid calls from down the hallway, spotting you both. âWhy is y/n naked? What the hell are you doing?â
âGoing to enjoy my dessert.â He calls back at his captain.Â
It was going to be a long night.Â

âš á(á ´ Ë)੠⡠⦠GOOD GRACES âĄ
track three of the short nâsweet series. pairing: toxicex!johnb x reader. based loosely off the song good graces by sabrina carpenter. enjoy! ŕťę°Ő ܸ. .ܸŐęąá
it was a tactic to get john bâs attention and that was so clear to him. whatever you were doing was fucking working, and that irritated him.
john b would like to say he was a pretty calm and reasonable guy, but as he stands in the centre of some random girls pool party, watching you hanging off the arm of some douchebag kookâ he canât help but nearly squeeze all the alcohol out of his red solo cop. he settles on shakily bringing it to his lips instead, eyes not leaving your form as he sips the bitter liquor down. shit, that was strong. but not as strong as the burning jealousy in his chest.
he knew how it looked â the jealousy, the rage in his eyes. there were very few things that could get him this wired up and maybe the copious amounts of alcohol in his body wasnât helping, but if you didnât stop grinding your bikini bottom clad ass against that random guys shorts, barely offering the pogue boy a glance over your shoulder â thereâd be hell to pay. like mentioned, he could be pretty calm and reasonable, but tonight he felt like breaking a kooks jaw.
he saw the opportunity to get to you arise when your new friend left your side for a moment to play a round of beer pong, which is when john b all but wrapped a hand round your arm and kidnapped you into a nearby hallway.
âjesus, what are you doing you psycho?â you accuse â loud, unabashed and clearly tipsy. the brunette squints, used to your theatrics.
âyou serious? hm? him? you brought that guy?â he deadpans, tilting his head expectantly as if waiting for an answer.
âare you serious? i can bring who i want where i want. weâre broken up.â you huff, sticking your chin in the air stubbornly as you cross your arms over your chest. maybe his hormones were all out of whack, but he swears youâre doing it to press your tits together and get a rise out of him. he clenches his fist, pressing his lips together in self restraint.
âdo you know how much thatâs killing me? like â like can you imagine the scene youâd cause if i came here with a girlâ no, not just a girlâ a kook girl?â he whisper yells, looming over you and god do you wanna be pissed off. but in that backwards cap and baggy tshirt, your ex boyfriend looks more than delectable and it fuels you beyond belief to see that he still cares so much. perhaps youâd throw him a bone, addicted to putting him through the pain he put you through when you were together.
a salacious smile spreads across your glossed lips as you stare up at him, waiting for him to finish his little tantrum.
âyou know, you should talk to me nicely john b. especially if you want to get in my good graces.â you drag it out slowly, like every word had a double meaning attached to it and now heâs falling back a little, face falling in realisation that you might be on the same page tonight. he blinks, staring you down for a few more moments just to make sure before shaking his head and ushering you borderline violently to the bathroom at the end of the hall. heâs sure your friend wouldnât miss you too sorely.
as soon as that doors locked, john b is doing the one thing heâd been dying to do all night â and that was drop to his knees and force your legs open, locking eyes with you solemnly as he peels your bikini bottom to the side. itâs to no surprise, youâre soaking wet to the point where he couldnât believe it wasnât leaking out the sides for the world to see. for such a sweet and innocent girl, you sure did get off on toxic foreplay.
âi canât believe you.â he huffs, hot breath making your folds flutter for him and you lean your warm body against the cold tiles, pulling his head to your cunt where it belonged.
âplease.â you shudder, and now youâre the one begging â needing the hot mouth of your ex boyfriend to dull the ache. he feels some power regained, knowing that you had such arousal that could only be tamed by him.
âyeah? been waiting for this puppy?â he coos as he kisses around your pubic mound, thick finger wiggling its way to your sopping hot hole that awaited him.
âjusâ dont tease, câmon.â you plead and he decides to stick to the words you told him. good graces, you said â and what better what to get into your good books than to make you cum so hard you couldnât hold yourself up against the bathroom wall any longer?

A Fierce Dillema
Pairing: Fierce Deity x Reader
Warning(s): None, just some introspective fluff and controlled chaos with everyone's favorite deity <3
Masterlist
â(Y/n).â
You awoke to the gentle calling of your name and a firm hand on your shoulder. A groan left you as you tried to turn away, to hide in the downy pillows and scattered sheets of your bed, but the voice was too persistent to ignore. A quick glance at your nightstand revealed that it was four in the morning, which was only cemented by the fact that the sun hadnât even risen yet.Â
â(Y/n),â the voice, oddly familiar, continued to press. âWake up.â
Wake up, he said. You already had an inkling of who would dare disturb your slumber, and it only became clear when you saw the Fierce Deityâs silver-haired reflection on the glossy surface of your alarm clock. He was wearing his armor and that blade of his was secured to his back, which undoubtedly meant something significant had occurred since you bid him and the other boys goodnight six-ish hours ago. âOh my god, what happened?âÂ
There was a slight pause. You could practically feel the tension through the calloused hand on your bare shoulder and sincerely hoped he hadnât gone out and killed someone⌠or set the kitchen on fire. Again. You werenât sure which was worse, because at least a body was easy enough to hide when you had nine heroes at your disposal.Â
âCan humans consume deer meat?â
What?Â
You had to physically turn around to convey the bafflement you were currently feeling. Ever the gentleman, he removed his hand and took a respectful step backward. Now facing each other, you looked him straight in the eye and asked: âIs there a deer in my kitchen?â
âYes.â
â...Is it for breakfast?â
âYes.â
âŚOkay. You were an adult, so you would handle it as such. It was a minor miracle that he had the foresight to talk to you before attempting to use your stove (you hoped). Besides, you did say that you were going to teach the boys about your world until another portal showed up to dump them somewhere else, and Fierce would be no exception. âIâll be down in five. Do I need to watch meat-cleaning videos or did you put that sword to use?â
The Fierce Deity, destroyer of gods and civilizations alike, looked almost offended by your assumption of his sword usage. You watched, amused, as his voice took on a scolding tone. âI would never, it is much too large for such a task.â
âWhatever you say, buddy,â you slid out of bed with the grace of a waterlogged snail, arranging the blankets in some haphazard semblance of a made bed. Fierce quickly made himself scarce, leaving you alone with your thoughts.Â
Your relationship with the deity was an⌠unusual one. You had been cleaning when you accidentally knocked over Timeâs precariously placed traveling pack, only for a vaguely-humanoid mask to fall out. You proceeded to snatch it up and the shit that followed was wild enough to be the star of a bestselling novel on Booktok, because there was no other way to describe it when a seven-foot, fully-armored man materialized two feet away wielding a sword that was as long as you were tall. Chaos had ensued and a fight nearly broke out between the newcomer and Sky, of all people, in your kitchen until Time managed to calm everyone down. From then on, he had simply coexisted in your home, though there were occasionally spats between him and the other boys. Traditionally, Time was the one to break it up when it happened, but you also discovered you yourself had some sway to him when you screamed loud enough.Â
Recently, however, Fierce had become unusually devoted to helping out around the house, going so far as to attempt to duel Wild for the right to cook dinner. It had taken a full minute of scolding to get him to pipe down and watch Family Feud with the others, though you got the vague sense that he was pouting as he watched you from the couch. His behavior only ramped up when your boss blessed (cursed) you with more hours at work and you returned home to learn that, in the span of five hours, he had managed to not only break your vacuum cleaner, but nearly maim the mailman for âinvading your territoryâ, to which you informed him that things were drastically different in your world and promptly bought a âguard dog on dutyâ sign to hang on your mailbox.Â
A quiet creak of the floorboards outside reminded you of who you were keeping waiting. With a muffled curse, you threw on a half-decent shirt, leaving your axalotle pj pants right where they were, and dashed outside to meet the deity. He was leaning against your wall, arms crossed over that mouthwateringly muscled chest (you had eyes), but seemed to snap to attention when you barreled into the hallway. âLetâs cook this bitch!â
And so you did. While the gorey mess practically dripping from your island wasnât particularly enthusing, you sucked it up and retrieved a pan, turning the stove to the max. A bit of oil later and you had a butchered flank roasting on the front burner, while a large pot filled with bones boiled away. Fierce was very considerate of your lack of knowledge on this sort of thing, quietly handing you the finished cuts when you requested them. He hardly spoke, choosing to listen as you prattled on about nothing in particular. Within the hour, you had an entire pile of roasted meat on a serving plate, and several members of the chain had begun to trickle in, likely drawn by the delicious scent of food. It was only when everyone was downstairs did you notice that he had disappeared. Despite the minor fuss the younger boys raised, you grabbed some food and went to find him.Â
It was on the woodpile in the very corner of your property where you tracked him to. Even with his impressive bulk, there was still space to sit on the stacked logs, so you plopped down happily. Fierce looked at you with a surprised expression, but said nothing. So you did instead, offering him the plate. âI hope you know Iâm not going to let you run off without eating after all you did.â
He took the plate. âIt is nothing.â
You shrugged and began peeling the orange you snagged earlier. âMaybe to you, but not to me. You gave us a break and Iâm grateful.â
âI stole sleep from you.â
âAnd?â You honestly had no idea why he thought you cared about that. Sure, waking up early sucked sometimes, but you werenât made of glass. You popped an orange slice into your mouth. âIâm an adult.â
There was silence, but it wasnât as uncomfortable as one would think. The sun had long since risen, bathing you in warm golden hues that not even the gentle breeze could chill. It didnât even dawn on you how strange you must have lookedâsitting next to an actual deity while dressed in a stained t-shirt and printed animal pantsâor how unusual your life had become.Â
âI have a question,â said the deity. You listened intently before answeringâit wasnât often that he initiated conversation and you didnât want to spoil it.Â
â...I have an answer.â
If you had looked closely, you would have seen the subtle quirk of his usually flat mouth before his expression reformed to something more solemn. You wondered if you should have mentally prepared for this conversation. âYou do not fear me⌠why?â
You blinked, trying to process what had just been said to you. âExcuse me?â
As if sensing your bafflement, the Fierce Deity elaborated: âI could end your existence with a sweep of my sword. Thousands have recognized this, but you either deny or remain oblivious to it.â
Ouch? You knew little of his backstory beyond being imprisoned in a mask for countless years by someone named Hylia forâ... well, you donât think he had informed you, but it was far from warranting fear. If he had wanted to hurt you he would have done so already. You were honestly a bit offended he thought so little of you. âIs that all you think there is to it? Iâve told you before and Iâll say it again: youâve done nothing to warrant my fear, so I donât know where youâre getting this from,â you paused, realizing how harsh you sounded. â...Sorry, I just⌠I donât see you that way.â
âThen how do you see me?â asked the deity, and you were caught off guard by the genuine curiosity in his pupil-less eyes. Was he⌠self conscious? It was a laughable thought, that the Fierce Deity was capable of such an emotion, but it was the only one that made sense in this dance of conversation.Â
That begs the question⌠how did you see him? âA personâ was your first thought, but it was what anyone would say. An acquaintance? Yes, but then it made your relationship seem almost transactional, which was not what you were aiming to convey. He was clearly looking for reassurance beneath that stoic facade and you knew an opportunity like this wouldnât come again.Â
âA friend,â the words rolled off your tongue before you could stop them, but what could you do besides continue? âYouâre my friend.â
It was simple, really, though that didnât stop him from looking completely and utterly baffled. âYou consider me⌠a friend?â
Why did it sound like such an affront when he said it like that? Your orange was long gone, but it didnât stop you from fiddling with the peel in your hands. âI wouldnât have said it if I didnât mean it,â you responded honestly, because, really, you wouldnât have. âYou donât sound like you have many friends.â
There was a sort of bitter melancholy in his tone that you knew all too well. âI have none.â
You grinned and reached up to pat his shoulder, emboldened by the rising light and your own sense of duty. âUntil now.â
For the first time in forever, The Fierce Deity, vanquisher of worlds and gods alike, smiled. Truly smiled. You could have sworn his porcelain cheeks seemed a little less stark when he took your hand, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of it like in the fantasy novels you read as a child. Then, before you could choke out a flustered response, he leaned close and said. âI vow to not disappoint you.â
It was almost impressive how quickly you recovered from the shock of his actions. With a small laugh, you laid your hand on his shoulder, warm as an inferno, and whispered. âYou could never.â
Is this the same AU as Knightmare In Toronto? Who knows!

âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Hobie stares at Miguel. He can see his lips moving, but he canât hear what heâs saying. All he can hear is his heartbeat and the blood rushing to his head. Kill? This other version of him was meant to kill you. Does that mean heâs going to kill you now that he killed him? No. No that canât happen. He wonât let it happen.
âHOBIE!â
Hobie realizes heâs gripping the desk in front of him. His eyes are wide, and his heart is beating faster than he has ever felt it beat before. He clenches and unclenches his jaw, swallowing nothing. His throat is dry. Miguel hesitantly places a hand on his shoulder. âHobie, can you hear me?â He nods, staring ahead of him at his hands. âI think I might know what youâre thinking. You wonât kill them. You arenât going to take the place of Hobart on their world,â he assures him, and Hobie tries to control his shaky breathing. âYou have to calm down,â Miguel says in probably the gentlest voice Hobie has ever heard from him. He forgets heâs a dad sometimes. And that he also has gone through some shit. He nods again, trying to take in what Miguel just said. He accidentally snaps two pieces off the desk with how hard heâs gripping it. He closes his eyes and takes a breath. âYou were traininâ âem to stop him.â
Miguel nods. âI was.â
âDoes that mean I can still save âem?â Hobie looks at him, and Miguel sighs. âMaybe⌠butââ
âBut what?â Hobie frantically asks, and Miguel frowns. âThe Venom symbiote was supposed to take over as the Spider-Person for their world as Hobie Brown⌠if we defeat VenomâŚâ
âPlease donât tell meâŚâ Hobie whispers, and Miguel nods. âThere is a 100% chance their world will collapse. Itâs the final canon even in (Y/n)âs story.â
âNoâŚâ Hobie shakes his head, squeezing his eyes shut. âNo, there has to be a way! We can do somethinâ!â
âHobieâŚâ Miguel starts, but Hobie turns his head towards him, suddenly angry. Ready to fight. âAnd you were just gonna let this bloody shit happen?! You care so fuckinâ much about the fuckinâ canon thatââ
âHOBIE. No! I wasnât going to let it happen. Why do you think I put so much time and effort into helping them?! Iâve been trying to fix it!â Miguel yells, âI know you might find it hard to believe but Iâm not a fan of an evil symbiote taking over the world of someone Iâve been mentoring for the past month.â Hobie looks down again. âWhat if they just⌠stayed with me? In my world?â âHobie, if their world disappears, they disappear,â Miguel explains and Hobie shakes his head. âNo. Find out a way to make âem stay! You can do that! You have tech and all the shit to do it! We can save âem!â Hobie is screaming at this point, and Miguel stares at him for a moment. He sighs, rubbing his face, distressed. âThere⌠might actually be a way,â he says. Hobie nearly falls to his knees. âHow?â
âIâve been developing something to change the genetic code of someone, making them appear like they belong in another universe. My thought process behind it is if Miles did it with the spider from Earth-42, we can do it here as well,â he explains, typing something into his computer. Hobie watches the screens. He reads everything happening in front of him, but itâs a little hard at this particular moment as it feels like everything is kind of crashing down around him. He is able to get some basic information on how Miguel would do this, though. âWeâd just need somethinâ from my world, then?â he asks, and Miguel nods. âYes⌠but unfortunately the process can be⌠painful.â
âHow painful?â Hobie asks, and Miguel glances at him. âAre you willing to do anything to save them?â
âYes!â Hobie says, and Miguel nods. âWe tested it on inanimate objects until we were sure it would work, then we tested it on animals. And while it always turns out fine in the end⌠the process is difficult to watch. Their molecules will be rearranged and changed, tearing them apart and piecing them back together. Can you sit by and watch that happen to them?â Miguel asks, and Hobie gulps. âI can tryâŚâ
Miguel holds up a smaller device, showing it to Hobie. âWhat you do is you take anything from your universe, inanimate, and put it in here. Iâll also need a blood sample from you.â Hobie then notices that heâs still gripping the pieces of the desk in his hands. He opens his hands, and the remains of the desk fall out of them and onto the floor. Miguel hands the device over, and Hobie holds it, tossing it back and forth in his hands. âWhat do I do with this?â âI just told you,â Miguel says, glancing at him. Hobie stares at the little device in his hands. Right. He did just tell him. He hasnât felt this scatterbrained in a long time. He takes off one of his pins from his vest, sticking it inside. It whirs and shuts tightly. Miguel takes it back from him and nods. âThis should work perfectly. Now, I need some blood from you. Weâll perform a blood transfusion with the blood from your world to stabilize them as the genetic splicing takes place, luckily with the technology we have here on Earth-2099, the transfusion should take no longer than 3 minutes,â Miguel explains, as he begins walking toward his lab. Hobie follows him, quieter than heâs ever been in his entire life. Miguel glances back at him. âAre you okay to give some blood?â
âYeah. Should be nothinâ,â he mumbles and Miguel nods.
Miguel motions him to sit in a chair so he could get some blood from him. He sits. âYou know, this is the first time youâve done what Iâve said without fighting me on it,â Miguel says as machines start up, preparing Hobieâs arm for blood extraction. Hobie scoffs. âCome off it, mate,â he mumbles and Miguel shrugs. âIâm just saying.â
âIâm still Spider-Man. I can be responsible or whatever,â Hobie says as the machine takes some of his blood. âMhm. Apparently, you can,â Miguel says, and he looks at him. âSo, you like them, huh?â
âWhat?â
â(Y/n)? You actually ended up liking them?â Miguel asks again, and Hobie shrugs one shoulder slightly. âGuess so,â Hobie mumbles, and Miguel shakes his head. âThe blood extraction should be done soon. How are you feeling?â
âBloody brilliant,â he mumbles, and then sees Miguelâs face. âBuck up, bloke. Iâm fine,â he answers and Miguel nods. âIâll get everything ready. Bring them here, and weâll figure out the rest. If itâs the worst case scenario, let me know. Iâll send back-up.â
Hobie stands, giving Miguel a nod, and walks out of the lab. The blood extraction did make him a little light-headed, but he doesnât have the time to sit around and wait to feel better. Heâs lost in his thoughts. He let his anger get the best of him, and in doing so, put you in danger. That was the last thing he wanted. He wanted to protect you and getting that asshole out of the way was the best way to do it. He thought it was the best way, at least. But it turns out that that asshole was him. And now youâre in even more danger than you were before. If that symbiote bonds with you⌠He doesnât wanna think about it. Symbiotes can fuck up a host. Heâs seen it happen. He doesnât want you to have to go through any of that. And to top it all off, Miguel was saying how dangerous this symbiote is. Does that mean if it bonds with you, itâll kill you? And is it like his symbiotes where noises drive it crazy? How did he fuck up this bad?Â
He's torn out of his thoughts by a familiar voice. âHobie! Hey!â Gwen yells, landing next to him. âAlright?â
âIâm good. You should have seen it, Miles, Pav, and I took down Doc Ock after he escaped from prison, it was crazy. We could have used you and (Y/n),â she starts rambling off and he just listens. âSounds great,â he mumbles, and she raises an eyebrow at him. âYou okay? You seem a little⌠down.â
ââm fine,â he mumbles, and she doesnât believe him, but she knows heâll talk about it when heâs ready. Miles and Pavitr appear shortly after, talking to each other about how they did a move together that was âso cool!â and how they need to show Hobie it as soon as they can. âRight, great talkinâ to you all, but I have to go visit (Y/n),â Hobie says, fiddling with his watch to open a portal to your world. âOh, are you guys on speaking terms again? About damn time,â Miles says, and Pav leaps up and down with a little clap. âHave the two of you accepted your feelings for each other yet?â Pav asks, and Hobie just glances at him, not saying anything. Usually, he would tell him to piss off. But heâs not about to do that when he did realize his feelings for you. So he just stays quiet.
The three of them look at each other with wide eyes as Hobie steps through the portal and into your world without a word.
As soon as heâs back, the air feels a little⌠different. Maybe itâs just him coming to terms with what heâs done, though. Heâs unsure how much time has passed since he left, but a quick glance at the grandfather clock in the corner of your room tells him heâs been gone about three hours or so. He hears a soft meow and looks to see Shadow peeking out from behind a small crack between the wall and your fridge. âHey, Shadow,â he says, crouching down and holding his hand out. Shadow cautiously approaches him, sniffing his fingers before walking into his hand. He pets him and looks around. â(Y/n)!â he calls your name but gets no response. Strange.
He hears another meow and looks down at Shadow who is staring at your balcony doors. The curtains have been pulled over them, but he can see that one is open from the wind blowing the curtain inside. He sees the silhouette of someone on your balcony, but if it was you, you would have been saying something to him by now.
He gets a bad feeling.
He slowly stands, and Gwen, Miles, and Pavitr end up coming through the portal. âShh,â Hobie says, holding up his hand and pulling his mask over his face. The three of them glance at each other as they realize something is wrong, too. Hobie slowly walks toward your balcony doors, pushing the curtain out of the way and seeing your form facing out towards the city. You seem to be in your suit, as youâre shrouded in black from head to toe. But it looks like a new suit. Pav, Miles, and Gwen follow him, on edge the whole time. He stares at you for a moment, but you stay still.
â(Y/n)?â he says your name, and he sees your head tilt slightly, signifying you heard him. âIs that⌠youâŚ?â he asks. You turn slowly. His eyes widen and his heart drops. He was too late. He sees a toothy grin spread across what was supposed to be your mask and clenches his fists as he hears Venom laugh. â(Y/n) canât come to the phone right now,â Venom says, their otherworldly voice causing the four spiders to prepare for the worst. âBut I would like to thank you, Hobie Brown, for freeing me of my constraints.â
Hobie has a flashback to his fight with himself. âThe glassâŚâ he mutters, and Venom lets out a laugh. He feels the world close in on him. His hands shake. He was too late. You were already taken over by Venom. As if reading his thoughts, Venom smiles at him, muttering the words that make his heart stop.
âYou led me to them.â

Spoooooky request, what if the gang went to a haunted house and everyone made fun of reader for being scared, but Steve holds her hand and walks with her đť
thanks for requesting angel! i switched it up a bit and did a sort of second part to this fic! you def don't have to read it but it'll give some context :D â you're still getting used to the world post-vecna, but it's easier with steve holding your hand
fictober (ă(â˘Ěᾼᾼâ˘Ě)ă)
The haunted house off Fifth Street looks strangely familiar. Two stories, faded cornflower paint job, boarded up windows. It looks like a dollhouse from hell. It looks like the goddamn Creel House. Itâs like some kind of sick joke.
It didnât take Hawkins very long to recover from last spring. Mostly because it was just an earthquake to everyone else. No one died, nothing was ruined beyond repair. To the rest of the town, it was just a minor natural disaster â an inconvenience more than anything.
No one knows that a thirteen-year-old girl killed the monster trying to end the world. No one knows that the local freak nearly died saving a bunch of teenagers. No one knows that one song, one heavy metal guitar, and one good memory just narrowly saved your life.Â
Itâs secrets all of you are gonna have to keep for the rest of your lives. It weighs you down accordingly.
âAm I crazy, or is thatâŚ?â Robin trails off, freckled chin tilted towards the velvet blue sky as she gapes at the artificially rotted house. It glows a sickly green color on the outside. The windows light up red every now and then, in time with the screams echoing from the upper story.
âYeah,â Nancy answers, breathless and equally dumbfounded. âI think it is.â
A beat of silence falls over the group of you. It doesnât feel so heavy with the surrounding chatter. The crowd continues to bustle around you on the street, falling over themselves with laughter and lingering fright. They have no idea the ghost story they grew up with nearly destroyed the world.
The bitter realization makes your chest ache. Steve seemingly understands this and gives your hand a reassuring squeeze. You wonder if he can feel the way you tremble.
Eddie scoffs a cynical laugh from the other side of you. A pink, sadistic grin tugs at his lips, almost as wild as his curls billowing in the autumn breeze. âItâs basically kismet then, huh?â
Steve shoots the boy a half-hearted glare, then deflates because he realizes he canât really be mad about it. Those damn demobats mightâve taken a pound of flesh from his stomach, but itâs nowhere near the feast they made out of Munson.
âCâmon on, dude,â he murmurs quietly with a subtle nod down at you.
âWhat?â Eddie snorts. âIf I donât laugh bout it, Iâll start crying, so⌠Take your pick, man.â
Steve wants to tell him that thereâs no shame in crying. That heâs done it plenty of times since the fall of â84. Heâs cried for you, for himself, for the kids who will never get to be kids again. He figures itâs better than letting it all build up until you damn near explode.Â
But nowâs probably not the best time for that talk. Or any time, really. Heâll get you to get all serious and sappy with Eddie about that another time, just like you did for him.
âIâm gonna, uhâ Iâm gonna go get the tickets,â Jonathan murmurs with his usual Byers mumblings.Â
He wasnât around for the whole Vecna ordeal â just the weird shit in California and the secret lair thing in Nevada. He feels like he can be a bit braver about the whole thing for the four of you.
Nancy brushes a kiss to the boyâs cheek before he leaves. She does that a lot now, with Jonathan and all the rest of you. She always feels like she needs to say a proper goodbye and I love you whenever someone leaves. Just in case the world decides to end again.
âYou donât have to do this if you donât want to,â Steve mutters to you, gaze twinkling with sincerity but stern still. âYou know that, right?â
He knows that you know, but he feels the need to say it anyway. Mostly because he knows you were already scared of most things before everything went to shit. Youâve always been delicate, tender, like an open wound. Now, you canât step outside without shaking. Youâre always shuddering with the distant fear that the curse might return and no one will be there to save you.
Steve knows this, too. Thatâs why he holds so ardently to your trembling hand. Itâs a silent reminder that heâs there, that he wonât let anything happen to you again, that heâll always be around to save you when you need him.
âOh, my god,â Robin groans, eyes wide and head tilted back. âLeave her alone, Steve! Sheâs fine!â
You know sheâs just trying to be supportive. She thinks Steveâs coddling you because youâre quiet â that heâs sticking up for you because he thinks you canât stick up for yourself.Â
He is. And you canât. But still, sheâs only trying to help.
Steve looks to his left to glare at her. They seem to communicate telepathically for a moment. His eyes soften again when he turns back to you. His deep cinnamon gaze swims with a honeyed concern, a silent âAre you fine?â
You nod. âIâm okay,â you tell him, mustering a soft smile that wavers at the edges.
He doesnât believe you, not completely, but he doesnât press it any further.
Jonathan returns with the ticket stubs. Theyâre black and blood red. You take the one he gives you with hesitant, clammy hands. He seems to notice how terrified you are without you having to say a single goddamn word.
âIâm not a huge fan of these things either,â he confesses with a thin-lipped smile. A light-hearted way of telling you that youâre not alone in the fear you keep hidden (very poorly hidden, you figure).
You smile back at him, but it doesnât quite meet your eyes.Â
Your fingers fidget with the paper stub â maybe a distraction for yourself or maybe to hide how youâre too anxious to stay still. Steve figures itâs a bit of both. âCause he knows you too well and not a thing gets by him. Thereâs nothing about you that he doesnât notice.
He turns to face you completely while everyone else gets their ticket. He keeps his wedged between his middle and forefinger as his hands curl around the outsides of your elbows. Heâs serious, but still soft â gentle, but still firm.Â
âBabeââ
âStevie,â you interject with a similar tone. âIâm okay.â
âYou heard her, Stevie. Sheâs fine!â Robin retorts, curling her maroon-tinted lips into a smirk. She scoffs out a laugh and gestures up to the fake haunt across the street. âThis shit is basically for kids. No oneâs dying here, alright?â
You know what sheâs doing. Sheâs sticking up for you and taking the piss out of her best friend at the same time. Itâs nothing new â hell, itâs her favorite hobby. Sheâs got your back now the same way she had it in that house last spring.Â
But still, her words sting a little.
Because sheâs right. This place is for kids. And you still feel a bit like youâre dying.
Steve knows this, too. He knows everything about you. Even the stuff you wish he didnât.
His sneakers scuff against the pavement when he turns to Robin. His eyes narrow in a challenging squint as he crosses his arms over his chest. He doesnât look quite as intimidating as usual in his fluffy, cable-knit sweater.Â
âWell, you know what? Iâm scared, actually. I donât wanna do it, okay? You got me, Rob.â
The girl grins something cynical. She shakes her head all slow, like sheâs just caught him in some kind of lie. âI knew it. You little baby.â
Steve lets her tease him. Itâs not like he isnât used to it by now. He just rolls his eyes and bears it, lets her laugh about it with the rest of the group as they head towards the haunted house.Â
You watch with an attentive gaze while they head inside, flinching softly when you hear a thunderous boom and the sound of their screaming a second later. It leaves you secretly grateful that you hadnât gone in behind them.Â
A wavering sigh tumbles from your lips, a breath you didnât know you were holding.
Steve exhales a gentle laugh from beside you. He smooths a wide palm up your spine and down again. He leans over to press the side of his hip against yours.
You cross your arms over your chest to make yourself as small as possible while you glance over at the boy beside you. You look at him so far beneath your lashes youâre basically peering at him from the corner of your eye.
âThank you,â is all you say. Itâs all you need to say.
Steve shrugs with a plush, crooked grin. ââS okay. I know youâre too sweet to say no, soâŚâ
âI wanted to do it,â you confess, clearing your throat when your voice breaks.
âI know.â
âI guess Iâm not⌠as used to everything as I thought.â
âI know,â Steve repeats. His hand curls around your waist and makes a home in the very center of it. He pulls you closer with the urge to melt into you. His brows raise, eyes sparkling when his smile widens. âBut thatâs why Iâm here, though, right? Weâre gonna get better together.â
You nod up at him, smiling more sincerely now.Â
Arms still crossed, your hands ball into fists to fight the urge to smooth a hand through his hair â to push back the rogue chestnut strands hanging over his forehead.
You hesitate, so he beats you to the draw. He swipes a golden hand over his head right before he leans down to kiss you.Â
He smacks a sweet peck to your smile. A bright light flashes with another thunderous boom a moment later. You flinch and pull back. You swear you hear Eddie screaming, âjesus fucking christ!â from the upper story. You forget to be scared.
You didnât think it was possible. The whole getting better thing.
Steve makes you feel like could be.

AMBER FREEMAN | GHOSTFACE (scream 2022)
â
âSent A Whole World Crying - pt1â (unrequited Amber Freeman x Fem!Reader) and (background Mindy Meeks-Martin x Fem!Reader)
| You accidentally let Amber know that you think sheâs Ghostface (through DMâs); sheâs not about to let you live through that mistake, obviouslyâŚprobably.
| NSFW, canon typical violence, psychological trauma, unrequited feelings, angst (TW: general sadism, malicious concern, some taunting, reader-insert is harmed, slight metaphorical smut - some of the descriptors and dialogue I use are suggestive enough that it could be triggering.)
| Listen Iâve seen the analysis of who killed who in the movie, but for the sake of this fic I donât care. (pic source: scream 2022 + promotional poster)
| Happy Early October!!
| 4k+ words
You:
- Mindy Iâm telling you! - She keeps disappearing during the kills and then coming back all twitchy - Why arenât you answering? You were all for looking into this shit earlier - Mindy! - I know you love Tara and they used to date or whatever but you know Iâm right. - Sheâs probably Ghostface - Come on girl Iâm being serious
Youâve been texting Mindy for the last two hours now and sheâs still yet to answer you.
You didnât know if it was because of how much shit you gave her for her insistence on trying to figure out whoâd attempted to kill Tara a few nights ago (as if murder accusations were just mere gossip), or because she just hadnât checked her texts yet, but this was bugging you to much for you to drop.
Hypocritical or not.
At first youâd blown off the signs, but red flags were red flags and eventually if they added up enough they started to look like blood splattered on the walls. Which didnât help with the way your friendâs particular brand of paranoia was starting to rub off on you.
Now, youâve managed to work yourself up so much at Amberâs most recent disappearing act that youâd nearly ran home so you could safely text Mindy.
In a circumstance that was beginning to be rarer and rarer for you both you couldnât be up underneath each other right now so her DMâs would have to suffice.
She was busy with the film club at the moment, but sheâd never once begrudged you texting her whenever and after going out with her and her friends last night then stewing over your observations all day you needed to tell somebody what you thought.
You werenât very close to the group Mindy hung out with â you fucked with your own company just fine â but you and Mindy had become close over your mutual hate of your philosophy class and eventually sheâd stumbled through asking you to hang out as a group (still blunt as ever even despite her raging blush) so youâd been with her friends at the bar only because she asked.
Friendship obligations, and all that.
It wasnât like you didnât want to figure out who would do something so horrible just as much as they did either. It was just that you only truly cared for Mindy and Chadâs sakes.
Or at least as much as most of them wanted to figure this situation out.
Amber talked a big game about caring for Taraâs safety above all else and vetting everyone the smaller teen came into contact with, but after that jerk who got yâall kicked out left Amber had disappeared too. She came back overly excited â weird considering her best friend was almost brutally murdered â and there had been smudges on her shoes. You couldnât confirm that it was that guy's blood, but you certainly felt like it was. The glint of something thick and wet was pretty hard to miss even on black boots.
Which was why you needed Mindy to answer you. You couldnât bank on Amber fucking off around the same time the news reported Ghostface killed that man being a happy little coincidence.
Amber was pushy and rude on a good day and on a bad youâd seen her be downright malicious before, tripping someone down the stairs after heâd bumped into her type of malicious.
Plus ever since you started hanging out with Mindy youâve noticed her staring at you more often, and no matter the contemplative look on Amberâs face whenever you caught her staring, her attention still made the hairs on the back of your neck prickle.
Sighing, you unlock your phone and check your messages again, pacing around your room all the while, before something catches your eye.
That wasnât Mindyâs handle. It just looked nearly identical.
Shit, no wonder she wasnât responding.
Jolting to a stop in the middle of the room, you rush to delete the messages.
Itâs as youâre deleting the fourth that the green âactive nowâ dot shows up beside the unfamiliar username and then âreadâ pops up underneath your last three texts.
âDamnit,â you grumble, still deleting the last couple texts. It wonât do much now, but if you were fast enough the person at least wonât be able to show anyone else or prove what you said.
Your stomach flips a little as you see the three dots pop up in the vacant space left behind by your erasing spree.
You freeze.
And then, heart in your stomach, you just react, exiting out of the conversation and going to the person's account and blocking them.
Oh god, you were so fucked. Shit. You really hoped that wouldn't come back to bite you on the ass.
You sit down on your bed with a huff, heart beating so fast it feels like you just ran the mile in gym class again. Dropping your phone on your comforter you shake out your trembling fingers. You suppose that was a sign that maybe you should just keep your opinion to yourself.
You rub your hands down your face.
Yeah, okay. Problem kind of (maybe) avoided for now. Youâd just have to hope for the best.
You grunt, âOkay, I need a nap.â
And then you take that nap. As is your right.
âââââ
Youâre jarred from sleep a few hours later by the sound of a continuous series of buzzing, and glare sleep crusted eyes up at your blurred ceiling fan.
Mindy had better not be calling you for some contrite shit again, like helping her beat Chad at whatever late night game theyâd decided to occupy their twin insomnia with at â rubbing the sleep from your eyes, you look at your phone â eleven pm.
Honestly though, who else would be ballsy enough to start rapid texting you like this in the goddamn middle of the night? The other girl knew you went to sleep around nine on school nights, but Mindy did whatever sheâ
It feels like your heart stops beating as your Face ID unlocks your phone and you finally read the messages. Ones sent from what looks like a throwaway account with a handle you donât remotely recognize.
The particular messages, on the other hand, are horribly familiar.
Unknown:
- Mindy Iâm telling you! - She keeps disappearing during the kills and then coming back all twitchy - Why arenât you answering? You were all for looking into this shit earlier - Mindy! - I know you love Tara and they used to date or whatever but you know Iâm right. - Sheâs probably Ghostface - Come on girl Iâm being serious - â˘â˘â˘
Wide eyed, you canât do anything but watch as another series of messages are sent.
Unknown:
- you think Iâm some bitch faced little girl - well Iâll show you
And just like that you hear the power in the house cut off and watch with stilted breath as the service bar at the top of your screen goes down.
Immediately afterwards a message pops up on your phone to inform you that youâve lost service even.
Shit.
You blink at your screen for another few seconds, brows furrowing, before whipping your head up to look around your room. Flashes of Tara battered to hell in the hospital and the memory of Sam telling you all about the attempted attack on her in that very place, mere hours after Tara had been checked in, fill your brain to the brim.
Mind feeling stuffed with static you let out a harsh breath through your nose, hand squeezing hard onto your device, and take a glance out the broken blind in your window to clock that there for sure wasnât a power outage happening anywhere else but at your house.
So someone was definitely fucking with you.
Fuck, you gotta think.
How the killer even got the dmâs you sent if they werenât Amber wasnât a question for now, but how youâd get out of this mess certainly was. With your younger sibling down the hall from you, and your parents still out of the house clubbing, there was only one other person you had to worry about.
Now you just had to figure out how to get to them without tipping off whoever the hell else was also in your house.
Hold on.
You never checked who exactly it was youâd been texting before.
Opening Snapchat, you simultaneously tumble as quietly as possible from your bed, only briefly getting caught up by your blanket tangling around your legs.
When you check you see that, yup, it was Amberâs account (whoâs handle was now ridiculously similar to Mindyâs and was only saved on your phone in the first place because Mindy had asked you to send her one of your summer assignments from this year to copy).
Goddamnit.
âWhy me?â you whisper; but truly, you shouldâve made sure you were talking to the right person if you were going to start making fucking murder accusations.
This shit was on you.
Teeth grinding, you stuff your phone into the pocket of your shorts then start crawling around the floor till you can begin prying open your door. Opening it as far as you know it can go before it starts creaking then inching yourself the rest of the way into the hall.
Sure you had a problem if this wasnât some elaborate prank â which you doubted, but the possibility was always there considering the kind of assholes you went to school with â but you couldnât jump out of your window and just leave your sibling to die.
Itâs when your mission is about halfway accomplished, and youâre nearly to your sibling's room, that you hear a creak.
You freeze alongside it. Breathing with your mouth slightly open to minimize the amount of noise youâre making.
Should you just make a run for their room? Should you duck back into yours? Should you shout their name and hope for the best?
In your periphery a flash of white streaks across the dark abyss that is the rest of your house.
Then, youâre only allowed enough time to start the beginnings of a scream before youâre being thrown into the hallway wall, cutoff exclamation choking in your throat and something blunt and heavy slamming into your forehead before you can catalog anything but the sound of fabric billowing in a rush and the feel of hands grabbing at you.
The shout you let out at the second hit is muffled by a gloved hand slapping over your mouth, the impact stinging your face and making your eyes water.
In that same motion your attacker catches you by the hip, hauling, and combined with the force they barreled into you with thatâs all they need to make you trip backwards.
You slam into the wall with an âoof,â but your attacker hardly pauses before using their body to flatten yours against the wall and force your wrists together in front of you.
As youâre blinking the spots from your eyes and trying to make out the person in the darkness a metallic click sounds through the air. And all you can do is flinch as two icy metal bands are cinched around your wrists in quick succession and your vision finally adjusts.
The metal locking together pinches at your skin but thereâs so much else going on that you donât even grimace, too busy trying to find your breath after the sight in front of you stole it.
A face. White, screaming in agony, and floating in the shadow like something straight out of Munchâs worst nightmares.
Thereâs a Ghostface mask less than a foot away from you.
Real and unavoidable and close enough for the starkness to hurt your eyes against the blanket of night all around you.
In Woodsboro it's a familiar sight, whether on the screen during local stabathons and tv edits at home or in costume shops around any one of the many killing spree anniversaries or Halloween.
Up close as it is to you in this scenario, however, it almost doesnât feel real.
The mask is tilted in a way that feels like the person behind it is examining you; like a dissection. A hand sprouts from the darkness and shifts it back straight over the personâs face, however, and instantly your worry is no longer an assumption.
If youâd thought before that the tilt felt violating, the full force of Ghostfaceâs direct gaze actually on you feels heavy enough to strip flesh.
Like acid dripping past your throbbing head, over your face, and down the upper half of your body.
From how crooked the mask was youâd guess thatâs what hit you, whatâs caused the drowning thump thump pounding through your skull and the stinging sensation traveling across your forehead.
The freak had head butted you.
Slow as you can, you shift your head to the side â hoping there isnât a streak of blood against the wall left in your wake â just enough to press your temple into the cool wall with a groan.
Itâs then Ghostfaceâs head truly tilts and you get to know what the weight of their curiosity really feels like.
The movement itself is silent, but the click of a tongue and the hand that comes up to press over your forehead is not.
At the first touch of covered fingers to your dark skin your blood practically flash-freezes in your veins.
Gritting your teeth against your possible concussion you make a valiant attempt to meld into the wall, but a hand making itself remembered once more on your hip keeps you from fully running away, and the other reaching for you doesnât relent.
âYouâre so pretty like this, Y/n,â Ghostfaceâs modulated voice says, deep and smooth, as your assailant pushes on the sore area where you temple meets the wall until you turn to face them again; their tongue wrapping possessively around the call of your name without hesitation. âSubmitting for me.â
âJesus,â you whimper, shaking against the insistent feel of their thumb rubbing against the angry vein showing on your temple. âHow do you know myâ?â
ââUh uh,â their overbearing timbre cuts in as they pull themselves closer to you, âkeep asking questions like that and youâll ruin the surprise.â
What fucking surprise? Did this asshole plan on dragging this out all night?
Could you figure a way out of this mess by then?
Biting the inside of your lip, you meet the abyss of a gaze in front of you in spite of the chill it sends down your spine. Try to think past the sensation of spiders crawling through your bloodstream that Ghostfaceâs generous touch elicits.
You swallow, saliva thick past the budding lump in your throat.
âCan you stop?â you force out.
The killer freezes.
You nearly pass out trying to keep yourself from recoiling or apologizing or both by holding your breath before they finally talk again.
âWhy? You donât want me to be concerned?â
Concerned?!
âI donât,â you say, lips stiff.
What you wanted was to have this over with, not whatever twisted brand of care this Ghostface operated on.
A beat passes where you think theyâll keep pressing, maybe make a point of knocking you again, but then theyâŚstop. Slim hands retreat from your space entirely and down to the killerâs sides.
You doubt their hands will stay still for long, though, and you havenât thought up how youâre gonna get around them yet â call for your sibling to go get help, maybe?
You cut your eyes at the ghostly specter, at their height and intense focus on you, and remembering the speed theyâd ambushed you with earlier you reconsider.
Risking your siblingâs life over a hunch that you already werenât confident on wasnât happening. There was no part of you that believed youâd stand a chance at overpowering this Ghostface long enough for no one but you to get hurt.
Something glints in the corner of your eye and you come out of your head with a start. Thereâs a knife in the killerâs hand now, twisting and twirling around deft fingers before their gaze swings back to you and the blade swings out to lazily point your way.
âPlanning?â
âNo.â
They laugh, likely not trusting your answer for a moment.
âFine. Donât tell me. We can play a game instead.â They pivot once, angling their body towards the door closest, and your heart skips a beat. âI spy with my little eye something that squeaks and creaks and leads to fresh meat.â
And just in case you managed to miss the killerâs meaning, they use the tip of their knife to point towards your siblingâs closed bedroom door twice in a motion too similar to stabbing for your liking.
âWhat do you think?â they ask, and take a slow deliberate step to the door right afterwards.
âDonât!â
Lunging across the space Ghostface has made between you, you grab hold of their wrist with trembling hands and bite the proverbial bullet.
The âPlease,â comes falling out your mouth like water, and only a tinge of something sour follows it.
Ghostface doesnât do so much as twitch when they glance back at you, though, shoulders shaking under the cloak.
ââPleaseâ,â they repeat, roiling laughter clear even through the distortion, âbut I thought you didnât want my concern?â
âIâll scream,â you counter, pushing past the sinking in your gut to bring your other hand up to form a double clamp around the killer.
Bottomless perpetually gaping eye cutouts stare back at glistening ebony brown eyes for one breathâ four, until you yank.
There is no plan when you rush past them, just the sinking feeling that something was going to have to give soon and the knowledge that youâd be damned if it was the person in the room you're running to.
Your hand is on the doorknob, your siblingâs name on the tip of your tongue, when a sound cracks through the air. Your leg buckles, thereâs a pressure at the back of your knee, the heat of another body latches onto your back, a hand claps over your mouth, and then youâre tipping over.
Ghostface brings you down with so little fanfare youâd be embarrassed if you had the wherewithal. Wrestles your flailing ass to the floor right in front of the door and keeps you down with their legs pinning your hips.
Itâs not until you hit the floor that everything catches up with you.
Heat like youâve never known screams from the bend of your knee like a piping kettle, and the wail that scratches its way up your throat when you instinctively try to get away by gaining purchase on the tile with your injured leg leaves you shaking into the floor.
With a chuckle your attacker shushes you, gloved hand made wet from your drool and tears patting against your open mouth.
âShhh.â They shift back and you whimper at the feel of every millimeter of movement that even that small motion forces your foot to make. âYou wouldnât want your little sibling to hear, would you?â
The voice modulator makes the question sound even more taunting and the deep timber of it curls your toes â the twitch making your left leg burn â coming from so close to your ear.
Gloved fingers run along the serrated edges of the hole in your cracked knee where the knifeâs still embedded, circling the pounding back of your leg until shivers rack up your body.
The touch is light.
You want to saw your leg off so you never have to deal with even the memory of the feel of it ever again.
âIâd hate to have to deal with him if he comes to investigate the strange noises, yeah?â they say, pausing right afterwards.
Itâs a prompt if youâve ever heard one. They even lift their hand from your leg.
Mind whirling with thoughts of the blood seeping out the sides of your knee to stain the floors and the agony emitting from the stab wound it takes you a few seconds to answer.
You force your words out past your shaky lips eventually, however. The stuttering agreement tasting like ash on your tongue.
âGood girl,â the modulated voice damn near coos in response, and part of you wishes youâd gotten stabbed through the ears instead.
Thereâs shuffling from above you, the sounds of fabric slipping over something barely registering over the rushing of blood through your ears.
Youâre bleedingâ
Youâve been stabbedâ
Fuck, your leg is on fireâ
Without an ounce of remorse deft fingers press down on where the back of your kneesâ been stabbed through again, hand holding tight to the side of your leg, and a whimper falls unbidden past your lips.
Breathy, throaty, feminine laughter sounds right beside your ear as your killer settles over you.
Soft lips brush the shell of your ear and wispy black locks of hair fall into your peripheral.
âI guess it was me after all,â a voice you recognize croons, barren of any modulation.
Holy shit, Mindy had been right.
âA- AmberâŚ?â
Your voice is small where you get it out from between pants for breath, leg throbbing hard enough to cut your focus completely.
Nothing feels real except for the throbbing, not the floor beneath you or the drool running down your chin.
âMhm,â she giggles, breath ticking the side of your neck and making you shiver. It only takes a second for her to shiver back, breathe against your skin stuttering when she groans and presses down harder on your wound. You mewl and can feel exactly how Amberâs smile spreads. âAww, just like that, Hun. Now weâre getting to the good part.â
Amber rises up from over you and then relentlessly grabs ahold of your shoulders and has you twist around until your upper body is facing her, and fifty percent of your concentration has to go to keeping your lower body in the opposite direction than the rest of you so you donât aggravate your knee anymore.
Hair wild and damp with sweat atop her head the smile she gives you is all teeth in the faint moonlight that halos her face.
âBet youâre reconsidering who you got close to now, huh?â
You grit your teeth, trying and failing to get enough leverage so you can spit in her face.
At the angle sheâs forced you into her weight over your hips was more effective than youâd thought, though. Spitting from where you were would only serve in getting you smacked in the face with your own saliva.
âGahâ fuck! Itâs not Mindyâs fault youâre a fucking sociopath,â you say behind clenched teeth.
You wonder if your friend would care if you died. Would Mindy cry when your death was announced? Would she immediately suspect Amber again? Confront her?
Youâd been the one to comfort her when the news about Tara had come through before Chad could get to you guys. Sheâd struggled for a few minutes before a few tears had trickled down her cheeks, tears that sheâd wiped away with a personal vengeance until you took one of her hands and wove your fingers together. Mindy had given you this wide look youâd never seen before, hazel eyes lost, before finally letting herself sob curled up to your side with her hand in yours. Did you hold that same amount of space in her mind, though?
In her heart?
Amber clicks her tongue, and instantly youâre reminded that whether Mindy and you couldâve ever been more than friends wonât matter anymore. âWrong answer, Sweetie,â she says, and without another word rips the knife from your body in one pull.
Just barely you manage to stop the scream you want to let out by clamping down on your lower lip, teeth completely bypassing putting an indent into the skin and instead cutting directly through the plush of it as you buck uncontrollably against Amber.
Chest heaving and with tears sprouting in your eyes and beginning to pool, you watch for her next move and are heartbroken to say you arenât disappointed.
With a flourish she brings the knife up to your face. You watch it with wide shaky eyes, heart sounding louder than your labored breaths in your ears.
The sharp side of the blade runs feather light down the side of your face, her gaze intent on it. On how the silver contrasts with the little streams of blood it leaves in its wake against your dewy brown skin. On how your lashes flutter anxiously, and the muscles in your face twitch beneath her touch.
âI didnât mean that,â she says softly. She shifts the blade so that she can splay the flat of it over your mouth and purses her lips, eyes glittering and crazed and a little hurt. âI meant that you shouldâve picked me, Sweetheart. I like you. And I like that you were thinking about me so much you figured me out. If you had just picked me I wouldâve spared you,â she whispers last, face closer to yours now, before leaning in to press a kiss to the other side of the blade over your quivering lips.
The scent of your own blood makes your stomach roil, but the feel of her breath fanning your skin and the ecstatic expression that takes over her face when she leans away to lick her lips forces a sob from you.
Shuddering, you look up at her, a tear finally breaking free to roll down your face.
There is no one to hold you when you break.
Amber giggles, the flash of her teeth bloody.
âJust let me do it,â she whispers, voice low as she moves to run the warm tip of the knife down your side. âBe good for me, be mine this once, and I wonât go into that room and paint those walls red with your siblingâs blood.â
And so you cooperate; biting down into your forearm as muffled cries and wails tear up your throat. Amber plunges the blade deep, hits organs and cracks through bone with low grunts, and each stab feels like a little more of your soul drifting away.
You jolt, she adjusts her weight to accommodate your pained reaction like itâs practiced. You bite down so hard you break skin, teeth sinking into your body and feeling like masochistic relief that at least this pain was your own doing, she leans over to lick around your teeth with a groan. She gives and you take and you donât scream out loud.
What a perfect victim youâve made.
The tears never stop flowing from your eyes. So much salt they begin to burn alongside the bite in your arm thatâs steadily mixing with blood and snot, and the entire rest of your body thatâs near indistinguishable apart from the pain.
Nothing feels real except for the way Amber rides out your death spasms and the never ending stream of pleas to keep yourself silent that have long since turned into a sequenced tune in your head that youâre already forgetting.
As Amberâs honeyed taunts follow you under you know without debate that you have never known pain so intimate as what sheâs brought upon you, and nothing so tender as deathâs incoming embrace.
At least your younger sibling would be okay.
NOTES: Hope you enjoyed!! I tried posting this yesterday, but it wasnât showing up under any of the tags so Iâm trying again. â¤ď¸

My high lady
Type:One shot
Pairing: Eris x reader
Summary: Eris makes mistakes, causing a fight between his mate and himself- how will he win her over and bring her back home?
Warnings- Oral (f receiving) smut p in v, fighting
MDNI
âYou know what! Fuck you Eris! Iâm going to stay with my brother. Sort yourself out!â
I stomp through the room and out to the balcony, calling out to Rhysand that I would be coming.
âRhysâ
âYn! What is it?â
âIâm coming to stay in the night court for a bit-is that ok?â
âYes, of course yes- we all miss you, your brother will be ecstatic!â
âWell then Iâm on my way now-Iâll be there soonâ
âCanât wait to see youâ
Eris hadnât moved from where he stood as my wings flared out- I look back one last time, âcontact me once youâve figured yourself out. But not before then.â
âGoodbye Eris.â
And with that I shut down my side of the bond and take off into the early morning skies. Out of the corner of my eye I swear i see my mate move but he doesnât come after me or call for me past a singular step.
âââ
âHey little sister!â Cassian pulls me into a bone crushing hug, spinning me around and burying his head in my neck.
I laugh as he sets me down, âHey big bro.â Looking past my brother I see his mate and we moved to hug- Nesta had never been a hugger but we had become close, sisters in a sense. I mean we were technically sisters in law. âHey sis.â
âHey girl. Oh remind me, I have a few new books for you.â
I smile as we make our way to the dining room and get greetings and hugs out of the way. Sitting down to eat.
âSo what did Eris do?â
I choke a bit at Morâs question, âHe decided to be a prick.â My familyâs eyebrows raised, looking for more information, âHe just keeps undermining me and acting as if he didnât declare me high lady of autumn, like my opinion and rule mean nothing to him.â
âHe did what?â My brother looked angry, more angry than even I was
âCass itâs- itâs fine. I blew up and he knows not to come after me till he sorted his own shit out.â
My brother simply glares at his potatoes, sliding his fork around in his plate as Mor tries to strike up other conversation.
âââ
It had been two weeks TWO WEEKS since our fight and nothing- I mean I excoriated for him to do something, even send something down the bond but nothing. I was beginning to think he simply didnât care. Didnât want me back. Cassi and anger only grew with mine as time went on.
âââ
âFuck!â Erisâ fist slamms the table, breaking it nearly in half. âWhat have I done?â
Erisâ mind reeled, he didnât know what was wrong with him but looking back and seeing all he had done to his mate, his wife, the ruler of his court- it killed him. He had to fix this. Fast. But he just didnât know what to do.
So after two weeks of letting her have some time away from him, sure she didnât want him, he went out to her favorite shops, buying her flowers and sweet treats, some more yarn for her crochet project, that painting sheâd seen and desperately wanted, a new blanket and that dress she eyed in the store window, he bought her more books she had mentioned and her favorite tea and coffee. Quickly winnowing home and setting things together in a massive basket display on the bed, he strode over to his desk, writing a long, long note- apologizing and expressing his love and all the ways heâd fix it and more. Finally, he closed it, signed it, and set it in the middle of the bed. Sure this may have been seen as overboard but not to him, never to him, his mate was worth anything and everything, heâd burn the world down for her any time of any day.
Quickly, he fixed his hair, shaving the stubble that had grown over the past 14 days, he changed, spraying on your favorite cologne and sent a message through the bond.
âIâm on my way. I have so many things to say to you- and I plan to beg at your feet for your forgiveness.â And with that- he was off, winnowing to the night court.
âââ
âIâm on my way. I have so many things to say to you-and I plan to beg at your feet for your forgiveness.â
I jolt at the sudden, first sign of anything from Erisâ side of the bond, his words were filled with emotion as it came through to me and I know. I knew he spoke only the truth. I quickly make my way up to my room, freshening up and looking in the mirror, âyouâve got this.â I whisper it so low I almost donât hear it.
As I walk back to my room Iâm spooked yet again by my mate standing in the middle of he room, intense eyes meeting mine. âHello again love.â
âHello.â
âI- I donât even know where to start with this. Iâm more sorry than words exist to describe the feeling, itâs- darling I look back and realize all of done and apologies donât even begin to cover my remorse, the utter disgust I feel when I think of what Iâve done, when I look in the mirror knowing Iâve hurt you my love. I hope you know that you- you are my world, my life and after you are my everything. I cannot begin to explain what Iâve done because there, there is no excuse for the utter miss treatment and horrid behavior.â He moves closer, I just barely stop the gasp threatening to leave me as he drops to his knees and stares up at me. âI will never undermine you again- your ideas, your opinions they are the only thing that matters, the only ones in this world I care to listen too. You are the high lady of autumn and I will start treating you as such. As the amazing, powerful woman you are.â He scorched closer, his hands going to my thighs. âYn I am- I will worship you, I will kiss your feet and the land you walk on if I must to prove to you how regretful I am, to show you how much you truly mean to me.â His lips meet my thighs softly as he maintains eye contact.
âEris. I love you.â I pull him up by his hands, keeping them in my grasp. âI understand the stress weâve all been under and while your behavior was not ok but I forgive you. I love you and we will move past this as long as you keep your word and I know you will my love.â
A dopey smile appears on his face as he grabs mine, silently asking for permission, which I grant and he swiftly leans down, meeting my lips in his, a tender kiss being pulled from the both of us. âI love you.â He whispers into my mouth. As we pull away, my mate speaks again, âI have a surprise at home, may I bring you to it, back home.â
âYes my love.â
âââ
After saying goodbye to everyone, Eris being threatened by each of them, we winnow back to autumn, back home. As we appear in our bed chambers, Iâm unable to hold in this gasp as I see the bed. âEris you-you didnât have to do this.â
âYes I did. Now go look at your gifts love.â After looking through everything, nearly crying as I stroke the silk thatâs just as soft as I imaged as I stared at it in the hop window. I look back to Eris, the small smile on his face making me light up as I bound over to him and pull him into another kiss.
My hands find his hair, twisting into it, giving it a small tug as his hands find my waist and a small growl leashes his lips. Iâm pushed up against the door, his lips leaving mine to find my jawline, then my neck, then as my dress gets in the way, he rips it- another gasp leaves me as he does so, his lips trailing down my body, sucking marks as he works his way down. âI told you I would be on my knees before you- Iâm keeping that.â He lowers to his knees, lips never breaking contact from my skin longer than needed to move to a new spot. His hands grapple at the back of my thighs as his tongue strokes me through my already soaked panties. He yet again- tears them with a growl before his lips land on my sensitive bud.
Eris nips the sensitive skin, sucking my bud into his mouth, in between his teeth before soothing the area with his tongue. His moth continues working my clit, small gasps and moans leaving me as my hands tug on his hair, hips rocking forward. I notice him rocking his hips, desperately trying to humo the floor the best he could causing a giggle to fall from my lips.
A small shriek leaves me as his tongue dives between my folds, my pussy clenching as he tastes all of me. Not long after I cum, my juices spraying his tongue and face. He stands and licks his lips, whipping his check with a finger before bringing it to my mouth, shoving it in between my lips. I suck his fingers, my tongue swirling it, looking at my mate through my lashes as I do so. I release his finger with a pop as he pushes me to our sofa- our bed currently occupied.
Erisâ clothes are shucked off quickly as he continues to suck on my neck, his hand working his dick for a moment before gliding it along my pussy lips. âJust put it in.â I growl, he smirks as he pushes in, to the hilt with one deep thrust. I nearly scream as he groans, beginning to move in and out at a fast but deep pace, utterly devastating. Sweat beads on his shoulder, dripping down his chest slowly. I push myself to my hands, licking up the small bit of moisture as he continues bullying in to me. Muttering praise and love into my ear in between groans.
âEris I-I-â
âI know love.â He rocks me back and forth slightly, âcum for me. Cum for me my mate.â I cum with a shout, my pussy clenching around his cock in a death grip as white flashes in my vision and my body convulses, shortly after this his own release hits, thick streams of white cum coating my gummy walls.
Eris slowly pulls out with a hiss, turning to our bathroom before returning with a wet rag, carefully cleaning me up, placing tender kisses to my skin as he goes. âI love you.â He brushes my hair behind my ear before magicing the items on our bed away and laying me down, my eyes blinking groggily, a small smile spreading across our faces.
My mate lays beside me, âI love you too.â I curl into his warm chest, my eyes sliding shut as I fall into a peaceful sleep, his hands rubbing small circles across my back. âSleep good my mate.â
âââ
Ok ok here it is- Iâm so so sorry for how long it took but I hope itâs good!
