thinking abt the iterations of jack noir across the sessions and going hrgegehrbrbh because hes so fucking interesting.

like like listen listen the fact that. dersites as a society were created by sburb to be opposed to the act of creation, to literally be the agents of destruction. and jack noir is probably the most concentrated embodiment of this concept in the entire game.

and and jack noir in the trolls session...*creates* midnight city. like no listen fucking listen jack and the mayor exist as foils of each other!! and the fact that theres a jack that exists that made a city without royalty, without war, made in his own image of a gritty noire filmscape.

like listen to meeee spades slick is the antithesis to bec noir. he didnt *change* he just always had the capacity to care about others than himself and the fact that bec noirs life is so *empty*

like bec noir couldve done more much sooner if he wanted jade dead but the fact that becs loyalty and love for jade made him feel SOMETHING stayed his hand and it was only when she was gone did he commit to destroying the universe bc he has NOTHING.

but spades slick has shit he wanted to protect, or at least keep others from taking from him. and he continued to live after the universe was destroyed so he can build a life anew again like he actually has GOALS and he likes miss paint and is kind of goofy while still being a fucking bastard

and the fact that jack english is actually just. a Good Archagent that follows the Condesces command really goes to show how much of his actual animosity is concentrated around the black queen and their blackrom.

if its a good blackrom, you get slick and snowman. if its a bad blackrom, you get bec noir and a charred corpse.

just. ugh. jack noir. i love this guy. he sucks so immensely.
