it’s hard doing stuff with my mom sometimes because she likes to make rules and conditions in her head that she doesn’t tell you about and then she gets mad when you break or don’t follow them
#i need a new battery for my car and we were gonna go to the store and get one#but she decided in her head we needed to go to the store around 7:30#now how are we supposed to go together if you’re leaving that early and you won’t tell me when you want to leave#she either just leaves like she did today#or she’ll come to my room and ask if we’re going and then get increasingly more agitated the longer it takes you to get ready#if there’s a real time to leave (like an appointment or a movie or something)#she’ll get ready almost a full hour before we’re supposed to leave#and then sit there and get angrier and angrier when she’s watching you still get ready#you can even still leave on time but she’s so angry you didn’t get ready at the same time she did#you can imagine how much fun this was as a tennager (who famously do not get ready quickly)
