Welcome to the Shules Lovers' Valentine's Challenge!

This challenge was created by @karenvvick, @someonefantastic, and @lamborghiniboyo to have some creative shules fun during the romantic valentine's season. The detailed rules are below, but essentially, there are twelve prompts provided for one week of creating, February 8th to 14th, with the last day having a more open Valentine's theme. While the challenge was created with writing in mind, all creators and shules fans are welcome to participate!

Please read all of the rules below before joining the challenge!

• You can create whatever you'd like, fics, gifs, edits, art, etc. • If you're writing fics and posting them on ao3, please add them to this collection: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/shuleslovers_valentineschallenge/profile • If you're posting your creation on tumblr, feel free to use the tag #shulesloversvalentineschallenge, but there is no guarantee of reblogs. the tag will help everyone in the fandom find your work! • There is no limit on which characters/friendships/non-shules relationships are included but Shules should be the main romantic ship. This is a shules challenge after all. • Entries should be posted on the day of their prompt. However, we understand that life happens, so if you need to post late, that's okay, but please do not post before the listed prompt date. • You can create for as many or as few of the prompts as desired. If you can only write for a couple of days, that's great! If you can create for every day, that's also great! And feel free to combine prompts too. For example, if you want to create a holiday romance involving only one bed, go for it! •IMPORTANT: Please use appropriate tags--such as NSFW--and trigger warnings. • And last but not least, reblogging and commenting helps support the psych fandom so please take a few seconds out of your day to encourage and compliment someone's work!

Feb 8th - high school au or coffee shop au • Take Shules, make them kids again, and plop them into high school! How does that turn out? What electives do they take? How do awkward teenagers fall in love? Or, one half of Shules is a barista at a coffee shop and one is the customer, but could there be something more beneath the surface? Feb 9th - holiday romance or there was only one bed • Shules plus whatever holiday you prefer! And it gets romantic! Think like a Hallmark move or you can take whatever direction you'd like with that! Or, wherever Shawn and Juliet are staying, for whatever reason, there is only one bed. You get to decide where it goes from there! Feb 10th - fake dating or soulmate au • For some reason shules have decided to tell people that they're dating, even though they're not actually dating. Why or what happens next? Up to you! Or, Shawn and Juliet are soulmates, there are lots of different ways this au plays out so feel free to make up your own or look up prompt lists to discover some! Feb 11th - single parent au or vacation au • Either Shawn or Juliet are a single parent, you get to take it from there! Or, Shawn and Juliet meet while on vacation, expecting never to see each other again. you can leave it there, or add a twist meeting back in their regular lives! Feb 12th - flower shop owner/tattoo artist au or (childhood) friends/enemies to lovers • One half of shules is a flower shop owner while the other is a tattoo artist. Pretty simple enough. Or, shules are childhood friends, friends that met later in life, or enemies and they eventually fall in love. Feb 13th - undercover or trapped • Either they've gone undercover for whatever reason or are trapped together. Or both! The sky's the limit! Feb 14th - Valentine's Day • Basically a free day!! This prompt is more broad so you can do whatever you'd like regarding Valentine's Day, au, canon, or otherwise!
