Nothing shows me more the double standards toward men and women's interests than the treatment of "obsession" with Animal Crossing characters. When Raymond was crushed on and put in a maid outfit, in majority (in theory) by a female teen audience, it was called cringe and made fun of, but EVERYDAY I have a sexy pic of Ankha being proposed to me because I follow the animal crossing tag on social media. Ankha doing her little dance with the p*nty shot, Ankha with b*obs, humanized Ankha at the limit of being naked, s*xy cosplay of Ankha (I'm all for AFAB people being sexy and doing whatever they want with their body, but pls, this is an animal character from a game series with no ages restriction),... I am in pain.
Like, the Raymond thing was funny. Him in a maid outfit, funny. Ankha being sexualized again and again is making me extremely uncomfortable. But yet, I still see her everywhere, when the Raymond hype has been shut down way faster.
Also, no, don't blame the furry for this sh*t. They're innocent. Humanized s*xy cat Egyptian girl is out of their jurisdiction.
