In verses like DC or fantasy (aka, verses where Addy's food/living/financials have been incredibly unstable) if your muse takes them in she will steal from them. Nothing major, justt things like food, small amounts of money, or small items that could be sold. She typically won't do anything with it (unless something else happens or if it's a case where she's around a lot but not actually living with the person, in which case the food might be eaten), and when confronted she won't have an answer for why she did it. In reality, it's an instinct built from trauma: take something and keep it just in case. She really isn't used to having more than enough.

"Something like that." Admittedly, Addy thinks about it in less poetic terms. Has instead considered the science and logic behind it all. Trying to explain it as if that will keep her safe from it, a desperate shield. Thoughts of quantum physics to draw a line between what she knows and what she saw. "How much do you know about Everett and Deutsch's many worlds interpretation? Or uh...Schrödinger's cat?" She figures the latter is probably a better starting point.

"eh, it's something like that," she responds, although in reality, yes, she's mostly just messing with chrissy. even if there's very little in her body language to give that away. honestly, she hadn't even expected the other to try correcting her on the matter.

still, caught in her fabrication, she chuckles a little bit. "so close. but what can i say, a grim exaggeration to set the tone never killed anyone." and right now, things certainly felt grim enough to opt for a darker sense of humor.
