somethhing I wonder on a lot, Jakurai with a younger girlfriend (around 22) and how yotsutsuji would be suspiscious of her when he comes back from coma, worrying that she will be bad for jakurai like ramuda, but eventually if the two becoming friends, jakurrai's girlfriend and yotsutsuji having a nice friendship?

Yotsutsuji, despite he woke up not that long ago, was trying to return to his normal life as soon as possible. He moves to Jakurai's house almost immediately after taking all necessary analyses in hospital, start taking practice as his assistant once again. He learning everything he need very quickly, as he wished to return this soft caring relationship between him and Jakurai, his parent figure.

Just how much happened when he was in coma...! Breakup of TDD, new people in Jakurai's life, forming of Matenrou, rap battle of divisions.. Young man listens carefully to all news that his benefactor had to tell him. Yotsutsuji was willing to meet his new band as fast as possible, thinking about true nature of Doppo and Hifumi. Yes, maybe Jakurai was trusted them fully, but for Yotsutsuji this strange depressed salaryman and absolutely uncontrollable cheerful dummy was really suspicious. Well, Jakurai trusted Ramuda too before, and how it's turns out? Who can say that this two will be different?

But more than members of Matenrou, Yotsutsuji was worried about another person that appeared in Jakurai's life when he was in coma.. He was worried about you, about your true intention. It was clear that you was much closer to Jakurai than Hifumi and Doppo as you was his girlfriend, you even lived with him too..! Young, cheerful, and so caring, you was so happy when you found out that Yotsutsuji finally wake up, visit him and Jakurai in the hospital during lunch breaks. Jakurai introduced you to each other after few days as Yotsutsuji wake up, much earlier than he tell about Doppo and Hifumi and since then start trying to make you two more close.

But young man didn't even try to befriend you, looking at you coldly every time you ask him something. He try to act more calmer when Jakurai was around, by he can't help but examining you with his sharp gaze every time as doc turns away.

"You two are almost the same age, so I think you would get along well.." - Jakurai always tell softly, holding your and Yotsutsuji's hands in his arms. His gaze so soft and loving, you never seen him so happy and relaxed as he looks at two the most precious persons in his life, at his family.. How can you say anything against when your boyfriend look so relaxed and peaceful?

And you actually try to talk with his adopted son more often, explaining him new technologies, news, everything that Jakurai didn't have time to tell him. Yotsutsuji was so quiet and kind, adorable and obedient around Jakurai, you can't help but look at him like at your little brother, helping him with his studies and other things. But for some reason he keep holding his cold attitude when no one see.

"D.. don't think you will fool me too.." - he said once as you two was standing in living room, you just ask him some random simple question. His voice was trembling a little, as he feel mix of shame and worry. Your surprised naive gaze looks so harmless but still.. he still feel like something was off.

So he kept being suspicious towards you, trying to check all things that you do and listen carefully to your little chats with Jakurai or your friends. Maybe he look creepy, but he's just traumatized - how can he believe someone, even such adorable sunshine as you, after all that things he have been through..? It's doesn't matter how sweet and caring you act, every time he looks at your face or faces of Matenrou, all he sees was Ramuda's devil smirk..

But times passes, and you still was absolutely inoffensive, still talking with him softly as you try to understand his feelings, and eventually he breaks, as your care find its way into his scared heart. After all that silent tantrums that he throws just because he was worried for nothing, you still was patient. You didn't even tell on him to Jakurai, trying to solve this conflict yourself, asking him softly what's wrong and what you should do to gain his trust.. Yotsutsuji feels himself absolutely stupid.

"I'm sorry.." - he sat next to you on a couch late at night, as you both was waiting for Jakurai to return home after sudden call in hospital - "All this time I was so wrong about you.."

You can see light blush of shame on his cheeks as he looks away, actually feeling guilty.

"I think I should apologize properly for all this times that I was rude with you.. If you think that i deserve to be forgiven.." - he mumble. Now, when he thinks about it, all that you give him as an answer to his strange behavior was patience, and he feel as his heart sank a little.

But suddenly he feel your warm hands around him, as you embrace his trembling shoulders. He froze for a second, surprised, but then quickly hug you back, slowly soothing in your arms. You was so soft and cozy.. he close his eyes, leaning to your shoulder, feeling as you caresses his back.

You two was silent, sitting like that for some time, not knowing that Jakurai was already here, standing in doorway with big soft smile on his face, as he adore your figures. He's not a fool and he knew all along that you and Yotsutsuji have some tension in yours relationship, and now, when he finally see you two befriended.. His soul trembling from joy as he get closer and join the group hug, It's good that his height and long arms allow him to cuddle both of you in the same time...

After that, Yotsutsuji finally start to show his more soft and gentle side for you too. He finally became a ray of sunshine he was before, treating you as his dearest friends. Now, cooking together something, especially sweets for Jakurai, had become a normal practice for you two.

"Huhu.. I don't even know which one of you should I be more jealous of.." - Jakurai chuckle, teasing you two about all this time you start to spend together. But honestly, without any teases, he finally felt a complete peace in his house, in his mind and soul. It's feels like he finally stop suffering, his heart was healed with smiles of you and Yotsutsuji, as you two was playfully fighting for something, giggling together.

Jakurai can't help but smiles every time he see this childish happy expression on Yotsutsuji's face. This boy is really appreciate you now, and it was clearly visible on his face, as his eyes sparkles with happiness when you two talk about new show or when he try to explain to you some medical books that Jakurai lends him.

Now, when you two became so close to each other, there was new life waiting for you, with your new friend and your boyfriend, as three of you was ready to always support and help each other as much as possible.

unfortunately Jiro wouldn’t be the best study partner if you’re actually trying to stay on top of the task at hand

I low-key headcanon him to have some form of ADHD and I feel like he also doesn’t really care enough about school to try very hard

so those two things combined are going to end up being a menace to you in any attempt to study

Jiro is definitely the type to agree to help you study, bring over all the books and papers, open to page one, and then immediately start talking about something completely off topic

it’s not his fault, he just wants to spend time with you doing fun things and homework or any sort of studying is not his idea of fun

so instead, he’s going to stay distracted and take you with him, constantly pointing out inconsistencies in the textbook and homework

“Why does it matter what the degree angle of the house in relation to the bus is? You still have to run just as fast to get there!”

“Jiro, please! We have to focus!”

he doesn’t mean to be malicious at all, but he’s definitely going to keep you off track and distracted

especially if it’s work for a class that you have to take but he does not

never ask him to be your accountability buddy because he will absolutely not keep you on track

there are going to be a handful of topics he’ll enjoy studying but outside of that, he’s not going to want to study in the slightest

he’s definitely going to bring lots of snacks for the study dates though and will encourage you to forgo studying in order to snack and goof around with him

Jiro is going to set timers for every ten minutes of studying and then give himself a fifteen minute break because ‘he’s earned it’

during these breaks, he’ll beg you to also take a break and come and hang out with him, maybe kick the soccer ball around or play a super quick (aka 5 hour) round of a video game

study dates always end up with the two of you ditching the homework to cuddle up and watch anime together instead

you can’t complain, especially when Jiro is so fun to hang out with, but you’ll have to block out time outside of the study dates to actually study otherwise you’re never going to get the work done

Saburo Yamada

study dates for Saburo are pretty much just him hunkering down and studying but you’re there too 

when you first asked him for a study date, he didn’t really understand because those two things were quite separate in his mind

but when you explained that you just kept getting distracted and needed someone to keep you on task, Saburo is happy to help

Saburo has a tendency to get lost in the subject that he’s studying, intensely focused on his schoolwork, so a lot of the date is quiet

this isn’t bad because it allows you to be focused on your work, looking up to seeing Saburo focused on his own

it’s a little awkward at first though, because Saburo barely even acts like your there, or will act annoyed at your presence

in truth, he’s just nervous because he’s not used to studying with other people, especially not people he likes

when you ask him about a problem in the book that you don’t understand, he might come off as flippant or annoyed, but again, he’s just nervous

Saburo will explain the subject matter to you very factually and will go through the entire topic in great detail

you might get lost along the way, but you know that he’s just trying to help so you happily thank him

Saburo doesn’t take too many breaks, preferring to keep his head down and knocking it all out at once, so it’ll be up to you to ask for a time out

during these little breaks, Saburo will try to calm down from being so intense and focused and you actually might help him just as much as he would help you

because he’s not used to having someone that cares about break time as much as study time

“Saburo, let’s take a ten minute break to grab some snacks!”

“Y/N, we’re already behind on the next section, it’ll have to only be an eight minute break”

he likes to make a schedule of studying and stick to it pretty tightly which will also help keep you on track

as the two of you continue to work and study together, Saburo will get better about explaining things more calmly and patiently

and he’s actually going to end up using it as the perfect time to show off his breadth of knowledge

overall though, Saburo is going to be incredibly helpful as a study partner and he’s going to warm up to study dates so fast that they’ll end up being his preferred type of date

Yotsutsuji Kannabi

study dates with Yotsutsuji are almost always perfect

I headcanon that he was an amazing student at school, so he’s going to be very focused on the work topics and will be motivated to study

Yotsutsuji doesn’t want to do it alone though, and that’s partially they reason why you’re there

he knows that a study date is meant to bring the two of you closer together so that’s exactly what he’ll do

he might work through some questions on his own, but then he’ll lean over and ask if you need help with anything

or if he gets stuck on something, he’ll run through the topic with you to make sure that he understands it well enough

Yotsutsuji is incredibly patient and caring, so if there’s a problem your stuck on or a topic that you don’t understand, he’ll happily explain it to you

he takes his time going through his thought process and stops every now and then to ask if you understand what he’s talking about

he cares about you and wants to make sure that you understand the topics just as well as he does

“I’m really sorry for making you explain all of that again to me”

“It’s okay, Y/N, I don’t mind at all! This is a really good exercise for me to make sure I understand everything too!”

Yotsutsuji is never snappy and will always lovingly teach you things

the handful of times where he breaks down is when neither of you understands the topic and he starts to panic

you reassure him that you can mark the topic and ask the teacher about it the next day, but he’ll still be a bit nervous

which is actually incredibly adorable

Yotsutsuji is also definitely the type to bring over healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables and when you comment on it, he’ll get flustered saying that they’re good for memory recollection and healthy

just give him a kiss on the cheek as a thank you and it’ll shut him up right away (although he might have trouble concentrating after that)

for as much as he’ll be focused on studying, Yotsutsuji will also want to make sure that the two of you take enough breaks so you don’t get burnt out or over-worked

the breaks will be short, but they’ll be relaxed enough to make you feel refreshed and ready to get back to studying afterwards

even if it’s just a ten minute break of laughing and joking around together

overall though, it’s a study date and Yotsutsuji came to study hard

Ramuda is the older brother that you always have to be suspicious of

I feel like he would be the type to constantly be annoying you, asking you where you are and what you’re doing

definitely walks into your room just to ask what’s up and then leaves without closing the door

your parents think he’s an angel and always tell you to follow in his footsteps because he always acts sweet and innocent around him

but you know exactly what he’s like and about his ‘dark side’ so you always get annoyed when they say that

I can definitely imagine sibling fights happening a lot, but the kind that are explosive and sometimes hitting is involved, but it’s playful and it ends with the two of you getting food at 2am

you grew up sharing a lot of things like video games and computers so whenever you’re together you always reminisce about the good old days

Ramuda’s the type to steal your clothes and accessories and then not ever tell you until you need them and can’t find them

which leads to even more fighting between the two of you

whenever he whines about not getting what he wants, you tell him that he’s older than you and that he shouldn’t be acting childish

and when he’s doing something bad, you’re the one that has to tell him to stop doing things he shouldn’t be doing

which can sometimes lead to you feel like the older sibling

he’s definitely protective of you as an older brother, and I can imagine him not approving of any of the people you date, and making sure your friends aren’t up to anything shady

even though you tell him that he’s the shady one and that just makes him fake cry and pout

when he starts working for Chuuoku and the Party Of Worlds, you try to tell him not to, but he doesn’t listen to you

and as much as you want to make him stop, he won’t listen to you, so all you can do is keep trying to get him to leave

overall, Ramuda doesn’t really care about many things in this world, but he definitely cares about you

and the two of you are actually fairly close as far as siblings go

Gentaro Yumeno

Gentaro is the older brother that’s always teasing and messing around with you

he loves playing pranks on you or telling you wild stories (they’re always just lies though)

I can imagine him making up stories when you were both younger, and you just being fascinated by all of them

but then sometimes they would be dark and scare you at which point you would cry and your parents would tell him to stop

or him putting fake, plastic spiders in your shoes or getting other toys from joke shops to mess with you

it doesn’t stop as you grow older though, and Gentaro is always telling you that you forgot to do something just to watch your panicked reaction

there’s definitely going to be a ton of quarreling and throwing of hands between the two of you

but it’s easily forgotten and always ends up in sitting together in one of your rooms silently reading books/watching tv together

Gentaro does keep an eye out for you though, but he always chastises you before helping you

so if you need money he’ll tell you to be more careful and demand you do his chores for a week, but he’ll give you the money in the end

likewise, since he was always older than you in school, nobody really messed with you because they knew of his reputation

and the teachers always loved you because they had him in their class years before and he would always be a charmer

you two definitely team up against your parents whenever the situation calls for it and have each other’s backs when it counts

you’ve covered for him while he’s snuck out to go to midnight slam poetry competitions and he’s covered for you to sneak out too

whenever you come back home for the holidays, you and Gentaro always hang out together and just bond over shared trauma from your childhoods

you definitely have a text chain that’s just a years worth of memes back and forth with the occasional question thrown in regarding how to cook some type of food

overall, Gentaro’s just going to be a fun loving brother that messes with you but also cares about you

Yotsutsuji Kannabi

Yotsutsuji is the kind of older brother you really only see in fiction novels

he cares about you in the most encouraging way and only wants to see you be successful

he’s more than happy to share his interests with you, and wants you to explore whatever you’re interested in too

since Yotsutsuji is an orphan, he probably wants to take care of you as much as possible because there aren’t many other adult figures around the two of you growing up

I can imagine him carrying you around on his back as kids, running through the forest and exploring nature

and then patching you up whenever you get hurt from trying to keep up with him and some of his friends

he never wants to stifle you, so he’s the first person to tell you to meet other people and make other friends

and when you introduce him to your first friend he’s going to be over the moon about it

if you guys ever get into fights and arguments, they don’t usually last long because neither of you want to feel awkward around each other

it can be difficult sometimes in the orphanage when everyone is looking to Yotsutsuji as being the ‘perfect person’ and I can imagine it being difficult to be his sibling

but even though you might feel jealousy, you’re just too proud of your brother to ever actually say anything to him

Yotsutsuji is always keeping an eye out for you as you get older too, making sure you don’t get into any trouble in school or mixing with the wrong crowd

although he’s not necessarily the biggest guy around so he won’t be able fist fight someone for you, but he’ll provide emotional support

I can imagine him being a senior in high school when you’re a first year and him showing you all the classrooms and making sure you know where everything is

he’s always helping you study and I can imagine him being really good at cooking snacks for you and your friends after school

when he becomes Jakurai’s assistant, he wants you to meet him too 

overall Yotsutsuji is just going to be the kind, caring brother that takes care of you

“Do you think this size is okay?” Yotsutsuji asked you, poking his head out from behind the rather large, circular lump of snow. You nodded towards him and threw you a gloved thumbs up in response.

“That looks perfect! You did a really good job packing all the snow together for the middle circle. Mine is so much more…lumpy,” you frowned, staring down at your slightly smaller ball of snow that you had made for the head of your snowman. Yotsutsuji let out a light laugh, the sound light and airy as it floated over to you.

“No, you did so well!” he exclaimed, walking over and kissing your cheek happily. “It’ll look great! Here, I’ll put it on top of the other ones for you,” he offered, picking up the last ball of snow and stacking it on top of the other two.

“Here, let me help,” you said, smoothening out each area where the three balls of snow stacked on top of each other. Yotsutsuji shot you a grateful smile as he chuckled.

“I think we did a pretty good job,” he said, stepping back and looking at the half-made snowman in front of you. You stood beside him and nodded, eyeing the little lumps here and there, but acknowledging that it was a fairly good structure.

“Yea, he looks great!” you exclaimed with a smile.

You had been shocked that Yotsutsuji had never built a snowman before, and immediately declared that you would have to make one together. So, despite the cold, the two of you had decided to venture out to the front yard and build your very own snowman. Now that the excitement had worn down, though, the cold was sinking in and you felt yourself shiver through your many layers of jackets and scarves.

Unbeknownst to you, Yotsutsuji noticed almost immediately.

“Hmm? Y/N, are you getting cold?” he asked, worriedly. You sheepishly smiled, and rubbed your gloves together.

“Sorry, I guess I got too excited about the snowman and didn’t realize how cold it was out here,” you admitted, rubbing at your cold face and ears. Yotsutsuji’s worried face melted into a soft, warm smile as he gazed at you with love.

“Here, take this. You have to remember to stay warm out here, okay? I don’t want you to get sick,” he said in a caring tone.

Yotsutsuji reached up for his ear mufflers and took them off, leaning over to place them over your ears carefully. His hands lingered by your face for a moment, a gloved finger just barely grazing your neck and sending more goosebumps down your skin than the cold weather did.

“Ah, thank you…” you said, your voice soft. You could feel the butterflies flutter around in your stomach and, perhaps thankfully, the heat ran to your cheeks, warming up your face.

“Hey, why don’t we go inside for a few minutes and warm up?” Yotsutsuji suggested, reaching out a hand for you to hold. “We have to get some stuff to make his face anyways, right?” he said, chuckling as he nodded to the snowman. You let out a small laugh and took Yotsutsuji’s hand in your own, nodding happily.

“Yea, and maybe we should get him a scarf so he can stay warm too.”
