Day 17: Shin AI heart hands and collaboration with @dailyrioranger

DailyRioRanger sketched Shin AI and I finished the drawing, I sketched Ranger and DailyRioRanger finished that drawing

And if you put them together it does in fact make a full heart

It was really cool to see our art styles kinda meld together and it was fun to draw Ranger and try to color and do lineart for a different art style

Day 5: Shin AI has virtual pets

Yes, he does have virtual pets

The cat’s name is Potato Sack (@sockthecoolcat suggested the cat and cat’s name)

The googly eyed potato’s name is Jagaimo (@5drown suggested the potato and potato’s name)

the snail’s name is Yorokobi (@daily-kai suggested the name)

The Hamster’s name is Wii Remote A Button (@five-crows-in-a-trenchcoat suggested the name and was decided in a poll)

I didn’t have enough time to do proper lineart :sob: I need to stop putting so much effort into these

If this was just a normal virtual pets game, Shin AI wouldn’t be able to actually interact with the pets. So it had to be custom coded for him to do that.

Midori ended up coding it, but this is Midori we’re talking about, so of course it’s not purely sweet and simple. If you neglect your pet for even a day, a weight that is intentionally a weight slightly too heavy for Shin to carry, will fall and brutally murder the pet, with Shin being too weak to save it.

Midori said it was “motivation to get stronger!!” Even though they both know, since Shin is an AI he can’t get any stronger anymore

he also said “I just want to make sure these pets are in responsible hands.”

He also added a functional whiteboard on the back wall and a picture of Shin, despite Shin not wanting it there

on the shelf there’s a mouse cat toy, a feather cat toy, and a cup of water, that the cat drinks out of

the cat sleeps in a duplicate of Shin’s scarf. A duplicate because Shin AI is coded with his clothes already on him, so he can’t change or remove them

Day 40: Shin AI gets a vocaloid outfit

hmmmmm… that makeup seems familiar….

Since I already did Shin AI in Miku’s outfit (day 32) I didn’t want to just skip this request, so he gets his own vocaloid outfit

I was gonna make him singing with Miku, but I ended up spending an hour on this so I’ll have to do that in a later time if I just decide to or if someone requests it

Let’s pretend he would actually ever wear this without freezing to death cause he’s a twink

Day 6: Shin AI chilling with Yoroboki the snail

Shin AI is tired, not sleepily tired cause the AIs dont need sleep, but he can get emotionally tired

he was having a bad day, but then his virtual pet snail, Yoroboki, came along for emotional support and being a comfort animal

He’s doing a bit better now

ITS THE ANNIVERSARY OF DAILYSHINAI!!

it does NOT feel like its been a year but thats pretty cool!! just as long as we ignore i am called a "daily" blog and havent even done 100 dailies...

sorry about that!!

i knew today was coming but i didnt really prepare for it so im sorry to say i dont have any celebratory art or anything, but even if it takes a while i WILL do something to celebrate this
