i can totally see this being in a like anime intro for jmg. i can picture it in my brain.

for waldosia, that song is this:

this would so play while the opening credits rolled if waldosia was a movie.

imagine: the opening credits begin to roll as the first chords play. we see a man walking down the boarding ramp of a ship; we don't know who he is yet, but we can tell he's been travelling a while. the shot pans up and out from him to do a wide shot of the port city as he strolls up the docks. as the man makes his way into town, the shot continues to establish the setting: the bustling do:chaut port city, val:dosja. it is a lively, sunny summer afternoon. and as the song's final chords play, the man stops in front of a small saloon and takes a breath, steeling himself before walking inside to it's familiar and inviting atmosphere.

so i have two playlists for that boarding school story idea, which in itself isn't that weird because i mean i have four playlists for camilla marie & co., but anyways

the first one has songs that are more officially associated with the story,

and the second one encapsulates the general vibe of songs that i've started randomly associating with the characters.

so i mean there's some level of organization there at least

so thinking about the oc playlists, specifically jmg's three part playlist. i've been going through it recently and writing down why the song is in the playlist, which characters it connects to, and significant lyrics and what they mean to the story. and like... i've filled 27.5 pages of my sketchbook with this stuff..... i'm like 2 thirds of the way through part two.... oop.
