It was a good experience for me until the sales thing happened. I expected Yoongi's album to drop before his tour, I knew it would be like that since the moment the tour was announced. I'm also sure Jimin will tour too eventually, as he said, he doesn't have enough songs just yet. But he will have more. The only injustice I see is them not letting Jimin film more music videos. And the timing of the album release.

The timing is not fair. I already said this when On the Street was announced and I didn't take it well that Hoseok was announcing his enlistment and single at the same time because we all know what that looked like -as much as I like Hoseok. Someone posted some companies prediction and said that there are 4 BTS solo albums planned for this year. FOUR. In 12 months. That should be around 3 months for each album. They had to squeeze Jimin's and Yoongi's in one month for some reason. A reason that I think will make sense when taekook get second half of the year all to themselves.

That, or hybe just really wanted yoonmin to do promo together since they've been pairing them together for a while even before the hiatus started. Hybe trying to make it look like they're still a family that goes to sleep together every night is really fucking hilarious, if not sad.

Honestly, it makes 100 times more sense for Yoongi to have released his album first, and then leave for tour and have Jimin release now in April. But I'm telling you, and I've said before, they did this on purpose T_T I'm not changing my mind unless Jimin himself says "I chose to release this day."

I don't really mind if the fandom will focus on yoongi... they're fans for a reason. It seems useless to complain about army focusing on BTS members because that's what they're supposed to do. I guess they feel they already did everything they could for Jimin, and everyone seriously did a lot; and now they'll try to get same or similar results for the other members. Jimin really paved the way. And again, it's not the fandom's fault, it's the company's fault.

The one thing I'm mad about is that he should be in the military already. He's been dodging that like... It should be him going, not Hoseok.

The first time they meet, Namjoon is four and Hoseok is five.

Namjoon is new in Gwangju, unfamiliar with the scenery and still unsure of whether he'll make any new friends or not. Hoseok sits beside him in his new class and when recess time comes, Hoseok immediately turns to face Namjoon and introduces himself.

They play tag and Hoseok manages to wrangle the rest of their class into the game until it turns into an all-out war and Namjoon is grateful for Hoseok throwing himself in front of the taggers whenever they try to tag Namjoon.

After recess, Hoseok leads him back to the classroom with an arm over his shoulder, his face flushed, and invites Namjoon back to his house later for a round of video games. Namjoon agrees, sure that his mother won't have a problem with it.

  The first time Namjoon tells Hoseok he likes boys, they're both twelve.

Hoseok doesn't gasp or stare at Namjoon in horror. He simply smiles and says, "Me too."

None of the kids they go to school with will let them get out of this and Namjoon's palms sweat with nerves, his stomach tingling with mild panic. Hoseok shrugs and leans into Namjoon's space once the encouragements from their peers become too loud to ignore.

Hoseok's lips brush gently against Namjoon's and stay there for a moment longer than necessary before Hoseok is pulling away. Namjoon is left wide-eyed and surprised, a little numb to the world around them as their classmates erupt into cheers. Hoseok ignores them and smiles at Namjoon warmly, brushing the younger's hair out of his eyes when his bangs fall into his face.

Namjoon flushes and turns back to face the circle, bowing out of the game a little later with Hoseok right on his heels. They stand on the porch as they wait for Namjoon's mother to pick them up and Namjoon finds that he doesn't know what to say when Hoseok grips his chin and makes Namjoon look him in the eye.

They kiss under the moonlight for a long time.

  The first time Hoseok asks Namjoon out, they're both fifteen.

They've been in that place that's between friends and more for over a year now, the gray area giving Namjoon a lot of doubts he isn't sure he can get over with ease. And as the winter formal approaches, Namjoon worries over whether Hoseok will ask him to go with him or not.

Of course, Hoseok assures him later that he shouldn't have ever doubted that, to begin with. Hoseok would never bother going to the formal if Namjoon wasn't the one on his arm.

Hoseok asks him with a bouquet of Namjoon's favorite flowers and a poem that he wrote himself, baring his young and unknowing heart to his best friend.

Namjoon's sure that he first fell in love on that day.

  The first time they break up, they are both sixteen and Namjoon doesn't talk to Hoseok for a week.

They avoid each other at school until one day Hoseok stops showing up for a while. It's only three days actually, but it worries Namjoon to no end and on the third day, he makes a beeline for Hoseok's house after school.

Hoseok's mother lets him in with a smile, urging him to remain quiet as he walks up the stairs to Hoseok's room. Namjoon takes a deep breath in then opens the door, not really prepared to see Hoseok in bed with a cast on his leg, arms crossed over his chest as he stares up at his ceiling. The elder startles when he sees Namjoon in his doorway, but waves a hand to silently tell him to further enter his room.

It looks the same as ever, except for a few photos turned down on Hoseok's dresser that Namjoon knows contain him in the frames. He blushes a little and pulls Hoseok's desk chair over to the bed, hesitant to reach out and play with Hoseok's hair like he usually would. Hoseok notices his hesitance and grabs his hand, resting it on top of his head before his eyes flutter shut and Namjoon quickly begins to run his fingers through the dark black locks.

Namjoon apologizes for how he handled the breakup and Hoseok apologizes as well, smiling bitterly when he tells Namjoon how he'd actually planned to approach Namjoon first before breaking his leg. Namjoon only laughs and a little normalcy is returned to them.

Namjoon ends up staying the night.

  The first time they agree to be just friends, they're still sixteen and figuring out how to be each other's best friend again.

Hoseok is all smiles, as always, but there's still a feeling of awkwardness lingering in the air whenever they hang out. The elder is freshly out of his cast and Namjoon does his best to keep him from dancing so much, but Hoseok is persistent and stubborn and his passion for dancing won't be paused just because he broke his leg.

Even with the slight discomfort between them, Namjoon doesn't want Hoseok to hurt himself even worse than before and puts his foot down, following Hoseok to all his dance practices.

It isn't until Namjoon attends Hoseok's first underground competition that he truly starts to get it.

While they're there though, Namjoon meets Yoongi, an underground rapper who traveled from Daegu to compete that night. Namjoon is without a doubt taken with him off the bat and he accompanies Hoseok to these events more and more just so he'll get a chance to talk about music with the slightly older boy with cat-like eyes.

Hoseok looks on with jealousy but lets Namjoon have this, unwilling to push himself onto every aspect of Namjoon's life. Because they're friends again ー and good ones at that ー and nothing would justify the way Hoseok wants to tear Namjoon away from Yoongi whenever all three of them meet up. And Namjoon knows that Hoseok is irritated a little because of his new friendship with Yoongi, but he also knows that Hoseok won't interfere because it isn't his place to anymore.

Namjoon is grateful that they're just friends again.

  The first time they get back together, Namjoon is nineteen and Hoseok is twenty.

How Namjoon feels is almost identical to the first time they dated, but not ー in a strange way. The feeling has matured into something richer and a little smoother. It's still a little bumpy, jagged in some sections of the edges, but it's better this time around.

Hoseok is mature now as well, not as easily swayed and when they have a problem, they talk about it. Not like last time when they were teenagers and Hoseok would always assume the worst before even getting Namjoon's side of the story.

Because their young love had driven them to extremes, desperate to have this fairytale kind of connection without ever discussing if what they wanted was the same thing. It had put them at each other's throats until it all fell apart and they avoided one another. Until Namjoon went and stayed that night with Hoseok, too scared and too worried to go back home where he wouldn't know if Hoseok was okay ー where he wouldn't know if they were okay.

Now they're older, Namjoon in university while Hoseok is attending dance showcase auditions and amateur dance competitions. Hoseok works at a gasoline station to make ends meets with rent and their bills for the cramped apartment they share as roommates and not as more. But Namjoon doesn't complain because he works at a coffee shop and in his opinion, both of their jobs suck.

They're learning how to be adults with each other and while they are together, Namjoon is careful not to twine themselves together so crudely like they were the first time. Hoseok understands too and so that's how they live for the time being.

Namjoon hopes it'll be enough, but of course, he isn't always right.

  The first time they date other people while on break, Namjoon is twenty-two and Hoseok is twenty-three.

They're still roommates because it isn't like they can afford much else, but this time, the relationship isn't at a complete and total end. They're on friendlier terms and don't outright avoid each other like they did when they were teenagers.

Namjoon is at a bar with Yoongi, his arm wrapped around the elder's waist. None of this had actually been planned. Yeah, Namjoon had called Yoongi up and asked him if he wanted to go to dinner with him one night when Hoseok was over at Jimin's place, on their third date by then, but he'd never actually expected his old crush to say yes.

They'd gone to dinner and it had gone shockingly well. Yoongi discussed music just like he had when they first met, but now there was more personal stuff mixed in as well and Namjoon appreciated it all. Their date had gone well and Yoongi had led Namjoon back to his apartment where they had sex on Yoongi's couch before Yoongi broke out his cheapest wine and let Namjoon spend the night in his bed.

The next morning, Namjoon had reached the elevator the same time Hoseok had, both of them surprised to see the other during their walks of shame. But Hoseok had only laughed when Namjoon told him he spent the night with Yoongi because Hoseok had seen it coming and he was still Namjoon's friend after all.

Namjoon had blushed a pretty dusky pink and let Hoseok use him as a crutch when the elevator doors opened and they walked to their apartment together. Hoseok mumbled something about Jimin being a pretty nice guy and that he'd like for Namjoon to meet him sometime and Namjoon had accepted without hesitance.

Neither of them had mentioned the fact they were on break.

So Namjoon has gone on a lot more dates with Yoongi since then, and he likes him, had even introduced Yoongi to Jimin when they had gone on a double date. But it doesn't come close to what he had with Hoseok ー what he's always had with Hoseok. Yoongi's a little tipsy from the two shots they've downed so far and he has that look on his face that Namjoon already knows as his "I want to have crazy, drunken sex later at my place" and Namjoon can't find that he wants to deny Yoongi this.

But when they get there, Yoongi pauses in the middle of taking Namjoon's pants off and looks up at him from where he's kneeling on the floor. "You're still thinking of him."

"What?" Namjoon startles, his eyes making out a slightly-blurry Yoongi by his crotch. "Who?"

"Hoseok."

Namjoon stares at him for a while longer, having no clue what to say and Yoongi smiles at him, nothing bitter or sad about his expression as he stands up. "You should go home, Joonie. I think we both know that this was never going to be more than just sex and conversation."

Yoongi calls a cab for Namjoon then helps him put his jacket on at the door and when Namjoon waves goodbye, Yoongi's still smiling as he waves back before disappearing back into his apartment building.

When he gets home, he finds Hoseok on the couch, crying. Namjoon rushes to his side and between sniffles and the occasional sob, Hoseok tells Namjoon of how he broke up with Jimin because he couldn't stop thinking about him instead. Namjoon only smiles and pets Hoseok's hair, lulling the elder to sleep as he hums a song that Hoseok likes. Then he leans back and studies his childhood best friend, the love of his life.

Namjoon's an idiot for thinking they could really give their all to someone else when they've always had each other. But it's nice to know that they could try at least, they could try and not be bitter about the other trying as well.

A couple months later, Yoongi and Jimin start dating.  

  The first time they have makeup sex, they're both twenty-seven.

The fight had been over the colors of the new drapes for their living room windows, but it hadn't really been over the drapes. It'd been over all the other things that had been building up to it: Hoseok's new job as stage director, the stress, and all the planning that a neat-freak like him had to do. Namjoon's own job as a high school teacher, worried over some of his students' well-being and fretting how exactly he'll be able to design these lesson plans in a way that will interest all of his students, even the troublesome ones.

So it'd been the build-up that had created such a mess but now they're here, bodies intertwined and never breaking eye contact, apologies still hanging heavy in the air around them. Their hips roll together fluidly, following a rhythm that their bodies know well enough to pick up with ease. Namjoon groans aloud, his head tilted back as their speed picks up and Hoseok moans with him, hands tugging on Namjoon's hair before their lips crash together.

Namjoon knows his mouth will probably bruise because Hoseok is just too rough right now, but this is what he wants. He wants this messy and furious thing with Hoseok.

He wants everything with Hoseok.

  The first (and only) time they get married, Namjoon is thirty-three and Hoseok is thirty-four.

The ceremony is a small event, only their close friends and family attend and Namjoon has never felt happier. Yoongi's his best man and Jimin is Hoseok's, but Taehyung is in the first row, holding hands with both of his boyfriends, Seokjin and Jeongguk, as he weeps freely over his friends coming together in matrimony. Namjoon smiles unbearably wide when he says "I do" and Hoseok's grin matches his, the sun paling in comparison.

Hoseok never lets go of him, always touching Namjoon in any place he can get away with at their reception later. They eat a little, then dance a lot and when they cut the cake, Yoongi shoves his plate into Hoseok's face, ensuring a cake fight between the seven of them. The other guests look on politely, but when Namjoon's mother gives him a pointed look, he's quick to put a stop to the impromptu food fight.

They drink some champagne and eat a little more, but when Hoseok drags Namjoon out on the dance floor, it's with purpose. Their first dance goes by well and Namjoon thanks Yoongi for giving him lessons beforehand as Hoseok beams at him proudly for not stepping on his toes the entire time. The speeches come right after and Namjoon's sure his face has never been this red before, but with Hoseok beside him, he can't say that he really minds.

After the reception, when they make love that night it's not for the first or last time.

  The last time they love each other, Namjoon is seventy-six and Hoseok is seventy-seven.

Hoseok's on his deathbed and Namjoon can't stop crying. The elder is going off to a better place though and he tells Namjoon as such, assuring him that wherever he'll go, he'll always be waiting for Namjoon to join him, no matter how long it takes. Namjoon's tears only seem to increase and Hoseok smiles at him.

"I love you," Hoseok whispers between them. "Always have and always will."

And long after the elder's grip has gone slack, Namjoon is still holding on tight to Hoseok's hand.

“So, you’re telling me thatYoongi had a nose piercing in University?” Jimin giggled as he lifted thepicture out of the photo album. Jimin had been helping Namjoon with some of hisreptiles when he saw the shelf of photo albums. He asked what was in them andNamjoon told them that a lot of it was from university and asked if Jiminwanted to see Yoongi’s old photos.

“Oh yeah. It’s only been aboutfive years since he stopped wearing it. I had that thing for years,” Namjoonsmiled as he leaned over to look at the photo. It was one of Hoseok, Namjoonand Yoongi all standing together, looking so much younger yet still the same.Jimin smiled down at the photo, his thumb tracing over Yoongi’s photo.

“He was just as pretty then ashe is now,” Jimin murmured, ignoring the loud groan that came from Namjoon.

“Gross, next.” Before he knewit, Namjoon had snatched the photo away and set it off to the side. “I’ll makea pile of ones you can take. I’m sure Yoongi will love to see these again.”

Jimin nodded as he picked upthe album again, flipping through the pages. There were a lot of photos fromparties or just taken around campus. Jimin stopped when he saw the next pictureof Yoongi.

“Oh wow, I was no help…”Namjoon laughed as he pulled out the photo. It was dark and it seemed to be atanother party. Yoongi was leaning over with Hoseok holding his waist, sayingsomething to Namjoon. Jimin couldn’t really tell, but it seemed like Yoongi wasvomiting.

“Yoongi was sick and you werejust taking pictures of him?” Jimin stared at him, a disapproving look on hisface. Namjoon scoffed as he set the photo off to the side, smiling at Jimin.

“Um, yeah. That’s what friendsdo when they’re drunk,” Namjoon smiled as he flipped to the next page. Jiminglanced down at the next photo, a frown pulling at his lips. He lifted it fromthe book and stared down at it.

“Yoongi smoked?” He asked,looking at the photo of Namjoon and Yoongi, a coffee cup lifted to theyounger’s lips, a cigarette lifted to Yoongi’s.

“He never told you?” Jiminshook his head, looking over at Namjoon. “Yeah, he smoked for a while. About…six years? He stopped a couple months before Jin-hyung adopted you.”

“He hasn’t done it sincethen…?”

“Not that I can think of, no,”Namjoon hummed as he took the photo. “This looks like something that would beon like… An aesthetic blog.”

Jimin nodded in agreement, butstill couldn’t shake the uncomfortable feeling he got from the idea of Yoonginot telling him.

He was hoping the feelingwould go away, but it seemed to only get worse when he flipped the page.

“What…?” Jimin stared at aphoto of Hoseok sitting next to a tired looking Yoongi on a hospital bed. Jiminturned his eyes to Namjoon, seeing his smile disappear. “Namjoon, whathappened?”

“I…” Namjoon was quiet for amoment, chewing on his lower lip. “I’m not sure if he’d want me to tell you…He’d probably want to tell you himself.”

Namjoon gently took the photofrom Jimin’s hands, setting it on the table. Jimin stared at it for a moment, chewingon his lip.

“I… Is it okay if I go now? Ithink I need to talk to him as soon as possible…” Namjoon nodded, standing up atthe same time as Jimin, grabbing the photos off the table.

“Yeah, that’s okay. I’m surprisedhe never actually told you about this…” He murmured, holding the photos out toJimin. The Puppy nodded as he took the photos, holding them close to his chest.He quickly said goodbye before he made his way from the apartment, texting Yoongithat he was heading home.

 Jimin slipped his phone backinto his pocket along with the photos before he stepped outside. He did want toget home as fast as possible, but he didn’t think he could handle sitting in acar with Yoongi right now. He needed time to think before he talked to Yoongi.

He remembered Yoongi tellinghim about how University was a dark time for him, how his depression had gottena lot worse, but he had told Jimin he’d only tried once before to hurt himself.

He was starting to think thatmaybe Yoongi had lied to him about that.

His mind raced the whole wayhome and it seemed much too soon that he was stepping into the house, slippingoff his sneakers. His ears perked when he heard footsteps coming downstairs,his tail lowering.

“Hey, how was Namjoon’s?”Yoongi asked as he walked over to Jimin. The younger resting his forehead onYoongi’s shoulder, fingers tracing over his chest.

“It was okay…” Jimin’s voicewas weak, causing Yoongi to pull away slowly, looking at him with a frown.

“What… Did something happen?”He asked slowly, holding Jimin’s hands. The Puppy’s ears lowered and turned hiseyes away.

“Not exactly… I just, um… Ineed to talk to you,” Jimin said softly as he pulled Yoongi toward the livingroom. He sat down on the couch, pulling the photos out of his pocket. Yoongisat next to him and looked at the photos.

“What’s going on, Jimin?”

Without saying anything, Jiminheld out the photo of Yoongi smoking and the one in the hospital. Yoongi suckedin a sharp breath and took the photos from Jimin’s hand.

“Where did you get these?”Yoongi asked quietly, looking at Jimin.

“Namjoon had them. We werelooking through old pictures and I didn’t realize that you ever smoked and then…I saw the other picture… And I understand if you don’t want to talk about it…You don’t have to, but I just… I want to know what happened…” Jimin whispered,starting to ramble as he got nervous. He was curious as to what happened, buthe also didn’t want to pressure Yoongi into talking.

“I did used to smoke… Istopped because I wanted to try to get healthier. I haven’t picked it up since,”Yoongi murmured, looking at Jimin, setting down the photos. “And the hospitalwas after a party. It’s honestly not anything super bad… I had a lot to drinkthat night and I took some sleeping pills when I got back. I took more than Ishould have and Hobi and Namjoon still don’t believe that it was an accident…”Yoongi sighed as he set the photo down on the table, staring at it.

“You didn’t… mean to?” Jiminasked as he looked at the photo. Yoongi shook his head, glancing at Jimin. Itdid sound like too much of a coincidence, but Jimin could tell from the look inYoongi’s eyes that he was telling the truth. Yoongi had always been a bad liar.

Jimin nodded as he shifted closerto cuddle against Yoongi’s side, eyes lidded.

“You’re so dumb… Doing stupidshit like that…” Jimin muttered, squeezing Yoongi’s waist. The older laughedand nodded, holding Jimin close.

“I know I am. I heard a lot ofthat from Namjoon and Hobi,” Yoongi smiled as he kissed Jimin’s head. “I’msorry I never told you… I honestly forgot it ever happened.” Jimin sighed as hereached into his pocket, pulling out the last photo.

“I have another question,Yoongi-hyung…”

“What is it?”

Jimin held up the photo, asmile slowly spreading on his lips.

“Can we get the nose piercingback?”

it's an old story but when I saw it on tl I wanted to clarify it. I've seen all type of reactions from jkkrs to this video, many agreeing and some not. What do you think about this? Did they really... 👀👀 or was it just another illusion.

The Songbird and the Sea - by MissterMaia

I can't even describe to you how good this AU is. I actually read it last month so it should be still fresh in my memory. It was one of those books that makes you think it would be one way, but is completely different, but you love it anyway.

"The Songbird and the Sea" is an adventure story with romance and fantasy and everything you can think of that would make you want to read it.

The world the author builds is a fantastic one, even though some locations and directions are on our map too. It's a universe where runes that give you powers exists, where there's an endless fight between pirates and the marine, where good and bad are two concepts that get easily tangled.

The action begins with Park Jimin, a young man with pink hair that lives on the small island of Jeju, an outcast in the eyes of the villagers. He is the bearer of the Canary rune, stone which he found early in his childhood and which confers him specific abilities and the unnatural color of his hair. Since he is a songbird, he spent most of his life in the forest where he could sing and watch nature bloom peacefully.

Jimin grows up isolated from the atrocities of the world, the bad news rarely reaching their peaceful island. The pirates are terrorizing the world, but in their village they are just stories told to scare little children around the bonfire.

Jimin's whole world is shattered when in the middle of the night he is awoken by the deafening sound of canons being fired. He hastly reaches to his friend's house, Choi Jihyun, an old woman who took care of him after his mother's death. Trying to escape in the forest he meets one of the pirates, a tall masked one, and knocks him out more out of luck than anything else.

Unfortunately, the villagers decide to offer a bargain to the pirates in order to leave their little island untouched. They want to offer their only treasure, the Canary.

That's how the masked man, the Quartermaster (Kim Taehyung), decides to take Jimin on the ship of the Black Fox of the East (Min Yoongi) - one of the four Cardinals. He is imprisoned there because he swears to never sing while he is on that ship, making the short-tempered captain furious.

Since Jimin grew up isolated and protected, it takes some time for him to realise that there is bad in good and good in bad. Taehyung (the younger brother of the captain) and Hoseok (the surgeon of the ship) try to make him feel at home, but it is hard to accomplish such thing when Jimin attracts Yoongi's anger upon himself each time he opens his mouth.

It takes a lot of mistakes on both of them's part for their relationship to start growing. Once Jimin opens his mind and starts getting to know the crew, he realizes that it is not that bad to be on a pirate ship (even though he still won't call himself a pirate).

Every character in the book has their own background story that reasons for their choice of becoming a pirate.

Everything takes a slightly different turn when there is a meeting of the Four Cardinals in the city of pirates and the Priestess tells them that a pirate named The Fire Conflagration is out on sea and destroys everything in his way, striving of becoming the next Eastern Cardinal.

Upon this announcement, the fight to take the fire pirate down begins.

I really love Yoongi and Jimin's relationship. It is always a little unexpected what they have in store for each other. It is a slow burn, but I prefer it this way (it makes everything more meaningful when it happens.).

Now some details about the story:

- Yoonmin has kind of a love hate relationship, but once they get over it is 🤗

- it's a very long one, staying up there with 255,878 words (34 chapters). Don't be scared of the length of it, you won't even notice when you reach the end. (That's how good it is)

- the main ship is Yoonmin, but Taekook are also a very sweet couple and you will meet a little Namjin as well.

- there are battle scenes that can be called a little graphic, but I didn't find it too gory or something.

- there are also minor character's death, a little emotional here and there

- a little angsty, but don't worry everything is getting better

I really adore the established Taekook and everything that is at the base of their relationship. Taehyung and Jungkook really deserve each other in this fic.

I don't know if you all love it as much as I do, but I know that a story with so much plot (that is not written just like that) is what I'm always looking for.

Well, that's kind of it. This might be my top three favorite books. Even if it is really long, I wish it to be longer, after all the life of a pirate is always adventurous.

In the midst of my existential crisis over Night Channels, I’ve been writing other stuff. All Yoonmin. I thought I might put together some samples, some intro paragraphs and summaries.

Gin and Sin

Modern ABO AU - Jimin and Yoongi are Omega and Alpha rights activists, respectively, lobbying on opposite political ends. Things fall apart when they meet in person.

I’m about 10k words in and this one is already very very NSFW. There’s cheating... neither Yoongi nor Jimin have much self-control in the face of their compatibility, despite their political agendas, and it’s a bit of a moral dilemma. Questionable morals and long in-depth talks about ABO dynamics. I guess that’s my MO.

Sleep Well Beast

Pack ABO AU - Outlines Yoongi and Jimin’s journey from pups in their pack to being a mated pair. Everything is perfect and idyllic until the day Yoongi doesn’t come back from a hunt. Six years after he never comes back, a gnarled black wolf starts showing up on the edges of Jimin’s new life. Very angsty. Like. The saddest thing I’ve ever written? I wrote the bulk of the 6k words (so far) listening to Call Out My Name on repeat for hours and hours. I literally have 200 plays of that song. This is how it starts:

The day Jimin met Yoongi he was a newborn pup, eyes still gummed shut, grouped together in a large nest with the other pups born that Spring. Yoongi’s mom was in charge of looking over the young that season, and Yoongi—a very curious two-(and-a-half!)-year-old—often accompanied her. Turning from human to wolf was not well controlled among newborns, and their inconsistent transformations only added to the confusion of adjusting to life outside the womb. Yoongi would lay among the pups, let them grip his fur with their small fists, and would lick their faces clean until they stopped crying.

Episodic and visceral.

Dark Matter

College AU - Jimin moves into a new house the summer before his junior year in college. He loves his new roommates, all unique and genius in their various graduate and undergraduate fields. He doesn’t see Yoongi much though, summer schedules diametrically opposed, so he’s forced to build a picture of the man through brief weekend encounters and the information he gathers from his other roommates. He wants to pull Yoongi into the circle, the perfect group of 7, but from what he’s heard about his hyung, his approach might need to be a bit unconventional.

This one is kind of different... Jimin hears that Yoongi is unaffected, that he uses people for his goals (music inspiration, etc.) and wants to prove that he can do the same to Yoongi, turn it around on him. 12k words so far. The narration is a bit more... cool? Casual? Jimin is a bit egotistical. (Yoongi lives in the attic!!!) Here’s a snippet:

They leave the small living room and Namjoon leads him down a small hall and into the kitchen. It’s decidedly... stocked for a bachelor pad kitchen. The countertops are granite, laden with every kitchen appliance or food gadget that Jimin can put a name to, a ton that he can’t. Cereal, chips, snacks, fruit. Shiny pots and pans dangle from a rack above the island. They have three coffee makers, two microwaves, and a huge fridge covered with all manner of crayon-scrawled drawings of dicks. Dicks with hats, dicks dressed as devils, dicks with butterfly wings.

“Creative,” Jimin insists, leaning in to examine a dick in the style of The Mona Lisa.

Namjoon smiles. “Those are the weekly masterpieces of our lovely Taehyung. Photo and Studio Arts double major.”

Jimin nods sagely. “He sounds brilliant.”

Lit Me Up  (Title will prob change)

Sci-Fi AU, might be set in the early OW universe if you squint really really hard - Jimin is the last member to join a new squad of 7 slapped together hastily under the insistence of Namjoon, who’s fighting desperately to find a useful place for Yoongi within the budding South Korean Soldier Enhancement Program. As the other 6 try to sort Yoongi’s mess, Jimin develops his own powers amid needles and fever dreams and weeks of drug-induced sleep. Jimin might just be the piece of the puzzle that Namjoon needs to fix Yoongi and make them a viable team.

I’m really excited but really unsure about this one. The first 3k words have no names, each member has a number (in the order they joined Bangtan IRL), and it’s confusing, but that’s ok because Jimin is confused too! Like. This could be cool. Really cool. Inspired by 137 and Lit Me Up by Brand New. Echoes of greek mythos kinda, in the roles/abilities they have. This is how it starts ATM:

1 was brave and calculating 2 was sturdy and magnanimous 3 was bright and optimistic 4 was versatile and strong 5 was unblemished and unyielding 6 was insouciant and charismatic 7 was:

Vomiting everywhere, stomach a black hole opened out of spite to regurgitate every atom of celestial matter ever sucked down its dark maw. He focused on the thick folder of papers slid halfway across his inset bunk bed, trying to remember the single page of orientation papers he’d managed to read before he’d grabbed the nearest trash can and promptly started upchucking into it, his regulation fiber-rich diet looking much more substantial on the way up than it had on the way down. They had pricked him with needles and given him a dorm number and a handy packeted guide to his life for the next who-knew-how-many-years and sent him on his hapless way. He’d found the dorm and a seat and had promptly started vomiting.

The narration is definitely more colorful in this one. Lots of metaphor. This is how he meets Yoongs:

He sobbed pathetically in the aftermath of the second wave, convinced that he was on the verge of exploding, imploding, dying—hands gripping anything within reach. He had a few seconds of respite to cry but soon felt the pricks of a third wave starting. He tensed his muscles in preparation, but suddenly felt his upper body being lifted up. He was shoved into a seated position momentarily, only to be dropped back down onto something... something squishy and warm and kind of bony. He couldn’t open his eyes, didn’t want to witness whatever was digesting him alive, apprehensive as the sensation began to build again. To his shock, two large hands cupped his jaw, squeezing firmly—but not too hard—and this time when the sensation peaked it only felt like his body was covered in bad sunburn. His skin smarted against bed and tense fingers, but soon the pain slowly ebbed and was gone. The hands that had been clenching the sides of his head slid down to open his jaw.

A pill, a choke, a shudder, and he was sleeping again.

7 drifted in and out of shallow consciousness, eyes blinking open blurrily. He had vivid dreams, visions of battling elements and liquid landscapes that shifted in torrential open waves and smeared entire ecosystems out of existence. Forests set ablaze, life and love choked out and broken down to basic elements buffeted by opaque smoke and blankets of ash.

He opened his eyes to see someone sitting behind him, his head on their lap, but all he could make out was a tensely clenched jaw, eyes covered with dark, wavy bangs. He felt fingers around his throat and idly wondered if they were the reason why he felt like he was suffocating. No. They were cool on his skin, slippery almost. He closed his eyes and dreamed.

Yoongi is the CEO of the BigHit company and one of the most influential music producers in South Korea. As a workaholic, he rarely comes home because there’s nothing to come back to - just his empty penthouse which reminds him of how single and antisocial he actually is.

Lately, he’s been feeling increasingly lonely, to the point that he started considering going out on dates with random people from the internet. Which is pathetic enough to state that he's desperate; he realized that career on its own would never fully satisfy him.

One evening, he’s walking alone through the city of Seoul, having decided to not take the limo for once. It’s raining heavily, a real summer deluge with indistinct sounds of rolling thunder. While most people find such weather oppressive, he thinks it’s rather liberating.

Holding on to his umbrella, he marches down the deserted streets, unwilling to go home just yet since nothing and no one is awaiting him there. He’s successful, nearly 26 years old, but still unable to find love - something must be seriously wrong with him.

Half-way home he stumbles upon a rain-sodden cardboard box with some sort of a whining animal inside. Upon further inspection he discovers it’s a white-and-brown puppy curled tightly into a tiny soaked ball, shaking violently from the cold.

It looks so small and miserable, so utterly helpless, that Yoongi feels a pang in his chest. Its pitiful sight reminds him of his own loneliness. He’s just like the puppy - unloved and waiting for something, for someone to make him theirs.

So he takes the poor creature gingerly in both hands and puts it gently in the pocket of his oversized coat, where it fits perfectly. The whining stops instantly, but the shaking continues, and Yoongi hurries to his apartment with the puppy’s discomfort in mind.

When they get there, he feeds the puppy casserole (the only food he has in his fridge), and gives him water to drink. It definitely is a he, despite looking so soft and fluffy. Yoongi dries his fur with a towel immediately after arriving at the penthouse and turns the heating up.

The puppy already looks much better and happier, munching greedily on the casserole Yoongi’s mom made yesterday, his tiny tail wagging with gratitude. When it’s not wet, it doesn’t look like a rat and is actually really cute.

Yoongi watches, mesmerized, as its paws stretch out when it lays down on the blue blanket, and he has a sudden urge to play with the tiny pink pads, or to rub the velvety pink belly with his thumb. He coos internally, thinking of a name that would suit his new friend.

Because Yoongi’s already set on keeping the puppy. It’s not chipped, there is no collar around its neck. It was abandoned, and whoever did that was not expecting to get the pupper back. Now the pet is Yoongi’s and he’ll take good care of it - naming it would be a start.

He has many ideas for dog names, but none seem to be good enough. Hoping to get some advice from Hoseok, he sends his best friend a caption of the slumbering puppy, adding the text: “any male names coming to your mind?”

Instantly, his phone is buzzing with hundreds of ideas from Hoseok and his boyfriend Taehyung as well. Some of them are kinda dumb, like ‘noodles’ or ‘batman’, but a few sound alright. In the end, Yoongi decides on Honey, which he thinks is the most suitable and endearing.

When he speaks to the dog for the first time, it’s to tell him his new name. “I’ll call you Honey, alright, puppy? I think it’s a pretty name for a pretty little thing like you.”

He doesn’t know why, but his voice comes out in a whisper. The dog’s heavy eyelids flutter open, but it’s obviously on the brink of sleep. Yoongi hums and strokes its head very lightly, an almost-there, soothing touch. He then carries the dog cautiously to his king-size bed.

That night they sleep together, and for the first time in forever, Yoongi doesn’t feel so alone. He wakes up in the morning to the feeling of a warm, moist tongue licking over his closed eyes and nose. The puppy - no, Honey - is right there, next to his head, tail wagging merrily.

Soon enough, the tiny fluffball becomes Yoongi’s home, one that he return to keenly every single day. He never thought he’d be so starved for affection, for his pet’s unconditional love, but it’s better than no affection at all.

He’s glad that he has Honey now and that they can do everything together. What even is loneliness? Now there’s a soft patter of tiny paws on the marble floor, and excited barking when he turns his key in the lock. It’s a better life.

They be using BTS's name anywhere they could to even push other grps so they kind of knows that tkk is the biggest ship in the fandom and if they sell it they gonna get money. Sell in the sense of you know show more content of tk toghter by pairing them together and like that. No but we actually didn't get any jkk paired up together last yr. You see it's mostly tkk they have paired up. The only time jkk was paired together was during that photoshoot where they created their old photos and they went in some of order of the song which leaded to make some pairs and that ended up jkk being paired toghter by the rules. In last run it was cause they chose the cheats/paper of names by themselves and that again landed jkk toghter but in any other content jkk weren't paired together at all....

My question is why now anon? Why now? They've always paired Jikook together in the past. If this is about Taekook having most shippers then shouldn't they have been capitalising on them sooner? 🤔

Lack of Jikook pairings has to do with 2 things.

1) MS is looming. This is not the time for Jikooking

2) How the albums are dropping also determines how they're going in.

Which again circles back to MS.

Yoonmin's albums were next to eo so pairing them is good for them. Another way of promoting them. Again Tkk albums are the last two so pairing them makes the most sense. I don't think its about the cult at all. Its just the timing.
