I think if i were ever to become a parent, I'd like to hold a monthly(?) "Debrief corner" or "-insert name- talk. "what's the lowdown? monthly" where the family gathers and talks about things they did good, they things they want to do better, things the family does that make you feel unhappy and if reasonable accommodations can be made [or at least a talk of why those behaviors are done], goals or expression of feeling burned out, and if they are still interested in pursuing last months goals or would like to pursue new goals and the steps they can take to achieve that, and what the family can do to help.
