You stood atop a small hill, hands dusted with the remnants of gunpowder, eyes glimmering with excitement as you made the final adjustments to your fireworks.

Behind you, Argenti stood, arms crossed over his gleaming silver breastplate. His eyes, laced with that unmistakable glow, flickered between the fireworks and your eager face.

"Are you certain this is safe?" His voice carried that distinct chivalric concern, laced with the weight of duty. "Beauty should be cherished, not risked so recklessly."

You let out a bright laugh, wiping your hands on your tunic. "Come on, Sir Worrywart. You think I'd do something that dangerous? I know my craft better than anyone!"

You smiled, watching his expression shift from concern to quiet wonder. His fingers twitched slightly, as if reaching for something intangible—the fleeting beauty of the moment.

"This..." he whispered, voice reverent, "this is magnificent."

You nudged him lightly with your elbow. "Told you so."

More fireworks soared upward, painting the heavens with colors that rivaled even the finest stained glass. Argenti remained transfixed, watching each burst with the same quiet admiration he reserved for masterful art or celestial wonders.

But just as you were about to light another, his hand caught your wrist—gentle, but firm. "Careful," he murmured, gaze dropping to the faint scorch marks on your fingertips. "Beauty is precious, but you are no exception."

Your heart did a little flip at his words, at the sincerity in his voice. "You really are something, Argenti."

He looked at you then, his eyes softer than before. "And you," he said, "are a living firework."

You blinked. "A what now?"

He lifted his gauntleted hand, fingers brushing lightly over your wrist before letting go. "Brilliant, vibrant... a beacon of joy. But just as fireworks burn bright, they also vanish too soon. I would not see you fade before your time."

A warmth bloomed in your chest, brighter than any firework. You chuckled, lightly patting his armored shoulder. "Well, guess you'll just have to keep watching over me then, huh?"

Argenti held your gaze for a long moment before offering a rare, almost imperceptible smile. "It would be my honor."

And as the next firework soared into the sky, you both stood together beneath its light—one a knight sworn to beauty, the other a flame that refused to fade.

She lights one of her arrows on fire light the fireplace, smiling proudly at herself.

(Amber) "Hah! I knew I should've tried that a long time ago!"

S/O chuckled, moving their seat closer as they turned to Amber.

(S/O) "You mean this is the first time you've tried it?"

(Amber) "My Vision keeps me warm usually, so I've never really had a need to!"

(S/O) "...Fair point."

Amber sat with S/O, snuggling closer to them, her smile growing bigger.

(S/O) "Thank you dear.~"

(Amber) "Hehe...! Want me to make you a baron bunny blanket?"

(S/O) "As long as it doesn't explode...wait, can you make something like that explode?"

(Amber) "I...dunno, actually. Hm, that sounds kinda cool!"

Xinyan's first move was to grab an extra blanket for S/O, like a normal person.

Until S/O spoke up.

(S/O) "Wait...can you use your vision to make it a little warmer?"

(Xinyan) "My visi-?...Now, why in the heck would I use my vision to warm ya up when I could just getcha 'nother layer?"

(S/O) "So you don't have to get up...!"

(Xinyan) "...Ya just wanna see if yer idea works, don'tcha?"

(S/O) "Would you say no if I said yes?"

Xinyan sighs and decides to tap into it, ever so slightly so she doesn't burn S/O and the rest of the house down.

And much to her own surprise, the warmth emanating from her body worked like a charm for S/O.

(Xinyan) "Well, I guess if it ain't dumb if it works..."

(S/O) "Hey, what better way to sleep off the cold with my very hot girlfriend?"

(Xinyan) "Did ya go the trouble of asking me just to make that dang pun?!"

Dehya wasn't surprised S/O was cold. Nights in the desert was unforgivingly frigid.

Even inside their tent and sleeping bags, S/O was shivering. Dehya meanwhile was relatively fine, surprising given the lack of clothes she normally wears.

Then again, she was used to this by now.

So, she scooted closer to S/O and used her vision to warm the tent up subtly, smiling once she saw their shivering stop.

(Dehya) "Much better, huh?"

She knew they couldn't hear her, so Dehya just kisses their cheek and rolls onto her back, smiling and falling asleep.

Dehya never thought her Vision could help with something so small, but now she was glad more than ever to have it.

Hu Tao just wants to give S/O a heart attack by shooting out a sudden flame.

(Hu Tao) "Cold? No you're not!-"

S/O yelps once a small flame shoots past them and onto the candle.

(S/O) "What the heck are you doing?! We're inside!"

(Hu Tao) "I know! That's why I did it!"

S/O sighed, shaking their head while Hu Tao simply laughed.

(S/O) "I swear...-"

(Hu Tao) "I'm not hearing a thank you, S/O!"

(S/O) "I'll thank you to not burn the house down, Hu Tao."

(Hu Tao) "Your welcome, I can do it any time!"

(S/O) sigh

Yoimiya used her Vision to light up her fireworks all the time!

But she never really thought about it using it like a heater at night, though that was mostly due to Inazuma's climate in general.

S/O was cold, them hogging the blanket being a telltale sign.

And so, Yoimiya knew what to do!

She closed her eyes and focused the power from her vision-

Accidentally setting off a firework that was outside rocketing into the sky and startling them both awake.

The power was a little too intense it seemed.

(S/O) "W-WHA?!...Ugh, Yoimiya...!-"

(Yoimiya) "H-Hey! I swear this time it wasn't on purpose! I just wanted to get you a little warmer!"

(S/O) "It's appreciated sweetie but...I thought you got all the fireworks put away."

(Yoimiya) "I...hah, guess I didn't...?"

S/O just rolled over and hugged Yoimiya tighter, a tired chuckle escaping their lips.

(S/O) "I think this can warm me up too."

(Yoimiya) "Hm...Yeah, I think I like this better too..."

Next time, she was triple check if there was anything outside that could be lit and prevent it from ruining her romantic moment!

As you know already she's a very honest and straightforward kind of gal. However, she wasn't exactly certain as for what to do about her feelings for you.

She always thought that when she meets the right person she'll just tell them... Now that she's gotten to this point she wasn't so sure anymore.

She wanted to tell you but at the same time she wanted to do something special for you. But what would be good enough..?

There was a lot of things she could do too. It was slowly starting to overwhelm her. But when she started panicking she took a deep breath and started planning with more you in mind.

She knows what she finds romantic but it had to be all about what you want. All that planning made her feel overwhelmed because it felt like every single idea sounded better than the last and she just couldn't decide.

In the end, harsh decisions call for simple solutions... And frankly she just couldn't take this anymore.

When it was just the two of you on a small picnic she tested the waters, she'd subtly get closer to you. When she didn't see you being uncomfortable about it she decided to just be out with it and tell you what she felt.

With every moment she wanted to kiss you more... But she wouldn't cross that line without your permission.

But the second you said you liked her back? She drowned your face with small kisses, finishing it off with a bit longer one on the lips.

Shenhe

She was quite confused by her own feelings. It took her a while to notice her romantic intentions towards you.

But when she did she didn't exactly think it was very necessary to be secretive about it. When she wanted to she complimented you, when she felt like it she said you're special to her. She didn't really fell the need to be close to you though so there wasn't any sudden affections coming from her.

You never really saw her gestures as romantic but that's probably due to how blunt she was about it and spoke with little expression.

She was more stating a fact rather than give you a glimpse of her real feelings.

While that's her charm, it's also confusing for times like this... And she knew what was at fault here so she couldn't pretend like she didn't know.

So a more direct approach was in order. When you were taking a walk with her as the sun was setting she suddenly grabbed your hand. Although she was strong her touch was gentle.

As you were turned face to face she just went for it. She kissed you. It was very much awkward and her blank stare didn't make it any better... But when she said the three little words the tense atmosphere washed away.

She still had a lot to learn about expressing herself, but that surely was a start. Good thing you like her too because otherwise that'd be awkward...

ok, Natasha, March 7th, Himeko, Asta and Yoimiya with an s/o who teases and jokes around with them…the catch is that when the character teases back or like grabs their hand, s/o does a 180 and turns into a flustered mess

Natasha, March 7th, Himeko, Asta, Seele, and Yoimiya's S/O who likes to tease but is easily flustered

Ah, the good ol' glass cannon. I know the technique well... Also, bonus Seele just cause!

Natasha doesn't get flustered easily, even in front of others.

All the teasing that S/O does, she just takes it all in stride, laughing along or playfully rolling her eyes.

Only if they try to tease her in front of the kids will there be a different reaction, but that's due to the kids dogpiling in poking fun at Natasha.

But, two can play at that game! And her teasing is far more dangerous.

(Natasha) "S/O, when do you think we'll be able to add another member for the Moles?"

Natasha gave them a wink, making S/O suddenly seize up.

(S/O) "Wha-!? N-Natasha! Not in front of the kids!-"

(Natasha) "Oh? So it's fine when you say things like that in front of them, but not for me?"

She asked in a casual tone, laughing as the children homed in on their location.

(Hook) "Huh?! M-Miss Natasha, you're hiding recruits from us?"

(Natasha) "Hm, I wouldn't say I am. S/O, however...-."

Her smirk grows as the Moles suddenly start interrogating S/O, demanding to know what they're hiding.

Of course, S/O can't say what Natasha meant out loud while their cheeks are burning red.

(Natasha) "A taste of your own medicine, dear.~"

March may also get easily flustered from S/O's affection, but the damage can be splashed right back at them!

Watching March and S/o flirt with one another is an endless cycle of one side being completely flustered while the other is extremely smug.

One moment it will go:

(S/O) "Aw, are you blushing, March?"

And then:

(March 7th) "Hah, it's on the other foot now, S/O! You're not so tough when your hands are laced with mine!"

Truthfully, the Astral Express crew finds it kind of exhausting.

But when they're in private, both of them are reduced to silent blushing messes.

(March 7th) "Do...y-you wanna cuddle?"

(S/O) "Y-Yeah. I would like that..."

Both of them swallowing their pride, they eventually cave in and relax without the nonstop flirting, simply enjoying the memories being created together.

Granted, the memories they did usually create was something to smile back on.

And cringe a little once they remembered they were doing that in front of everyone.

Himeko blushes from the teasing, but she isn't too caught off guard.

In fact, she loves just how playful S/O is, always trying to make themselves charming, which she admits does work.

But what makes them even more charming was the reaction when Himeko shuts them up by giving them a kiss or simply putting her head on their shoulder.

Watching them quickly go quiet and their face turn as red as her hair will never get old.

(Himeko) "Hm? Sorry sweetie, I seem to have cut you off. You were saying?~"

(S/O) "I-...W-Well I was...-"

A gentle but hearty laugh escapes Himeko, one hand brushing against their face as she feels the entire body freeze from the sudden affection.

(Himeko) "You're adorable, you know that?"

Asta pouts everytime S/O laughs from her stuttering.

(Asta) "C-Come on, stop teasing me!"

(S/O) "Sorry, I can't help it. Your reactions are too cute!"

(Asta) "Stooop!"

Her whine only encourages S/O to increase the levels of their teasing.

However, Asta learned that they're just as susceptible to succumbing to the blushy silence as much as her!

Asta held their hands in retaliation, about to say something before realizing S/O's eyes were wide and were quickly heating up from the action.

Making a smirk slowly grow on Asta's lips.

(Asta) "Hah! Not so cute when it's being done on you is it?!"

Ever since then, she has known no fear.

Whenever S/O was getting too cheeky, she'd give them a kiss and watch their brain blue-screen.

(Asta) "Hm? Are you going to finish the thought?"

Seele found their teasing a little annoying, because of how often they'd try to provoke a reaction out of her.

Sometimes it did work when it was more affectionate, but most of the time it just made Seele groan.

(Seele) "Seriously? I can eat by myself you know-."

(S/O) "Come on, say 'aaah!'"

S/O began laughing as she rolled her eyes, before quickly grabbing a spoonful of soup and sticking it into S/O's mouth, albeit gently.

Watching their eyes widen and cheeks brighten finally gave her a different reaction other than annoyance.

(Seele) "Huh...So this is what it feels like. I can see why you do it now."

She teased, chuckling as she made the spoon leave their lips.

Now that Seele knew this little fun fact about S/O, it was her job to begin tormenting them.

Whether it be a sudden hug from behind, a passionate kiss on the lips, or even just her arms wrapping around theirs.

Seele now had a new weapon in her arsenal.

Embarassment.

(Seele) "No need to be so shy, you had no problem when you were pulling this stunt on me."

Yoimiya could tell at first glance just how fragile S/O's bravado was.

Sure, she could get a bit flushed in the face from their flirting, but with how energetic she is, she was quick to adapt.

Yoimiya gives S/O a peck on the cheek and giggles at how they would instantly forget what they were saying.

(Yoimiya) "Come on, silly! If you can deal it, you gotta take it too!"

Some days she would let their flirting slide, in part due to her own flustered brain trying to stabilize, but it was also to make the moments she did bite back all the more special!

Though truthfully, Yoimiya found the fact they got so flustered so endearing, it made her fall in love with them all over again.

Because they could at least get embarassed together from their antics.

And with how often she hugged or just had some part of her body intertwined with S/O's, Yoimiya got to see the face she loved get all bashful up close.

It usually resulted in her giving them a loving kiss due to how just dang cute they were!

(Yoimiya) "Wow, I thought you'd have gotten used to this by now! Guess there's always next time, heh!~"
