Late night flowchart of my game so far~
I blocked out stuff like effects, photo locations, and other secrets planned, but I thought I’d show off how many worlds there are and stuff 👀
Green check marks mean the worlds are 100% finished, red check marks means they’re about 50% finished, and blanks mean there isn’t anything finished yet
There’s around 40 worlds I have planned for dreamers to explore! I just need to actually get the motivation to finish more of them soon :,D

metroidvanias. roguelikes and their sister roguelites. i keep calling minigame focused story games with fully hand animated cutscenes laytonlikes but thats just a me thing. yume nikki fangames has a more confusing name-of-genre-spawned-from-inspiration-from-a-specific-game situation but its a classic. i love you genre names that specify inspiration......
#if you dont know when people talk about a yn fangame theyre not talking about like#a game set in the same universe or with the same characters like a fanfiction or anything like that#its referring to games that use the same structure and game mechanics (and often visual style influences) as yume nikki#its a yumenikkilike#its an interesting naming convention that can be a bit confusing! i like ynfgs tho theyre very cool
