One Piece OCs: The Noko Island Children Part 1

Overview: The Noko Island residents are rich entitled jerks so it’s not a surprise that they raised bratty children. They got to keep up their social status by having kids now. As the children of the richest, they attend Ymer Prep School, allow to go to Fior D Country Club with their parents, attend the kiddie room of the White Town Hall, and go to the luxurious Skyr Playground. They are assholes to Cream because of their parents’ disdain for her mother, Lesedi. All of them wears a variety of white clothes to keep up with the Noko Island’s social norms. Usually the children there do not have a sibling because of biological “issues” of having more. This doesn’t means that the people there can not have another child as in the cases of Opera’s four children from his first marriage and the Milken family. The parents would sometimes employ nannies, governesses, or babysitters to take care of their children. Despite claiming that they hate it and don’t want to join, the children want to see what is going on in The Cascade and wonder why Cream is allowed in. They demand the members allow them in but they refused.

Gigi Fortune

Appearance: Gigi is a seven-year-old girl with fair skin, sky blue hair, and light eyes. She is a snakeneck. She usually wears a white dress with a baby blue ribbon around it. Her shoes are white with light blue buckles. She has a beautiful pair of white pearl earrings, necklace and a bracelet. For Ymer Prep, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a blue skirt with white plaid designs, white knee height socks, and a pair of black shoes with ivory-colored buckles.

About: Gigi Fortune is the daughter of Mr. Fortune, who is the owner of the Lassi Mall, and Mrs. Fortune, who is the Vice President of the HOA and the second-in-command of Mrs. Smiles. Gigi believes that she is better than everyone else and could do no wrong. She is egocentric and entitled as she is a straight-A student in Ymer Prep. Her hobbies consist of Equestrian activities with her white pony named Lala, such as polo, dressage, and horseball. 

Asher Shine

Appearance: Asher is a six-year-old boy with blackish-violet hair and cyan eyes. He wears a white blouse, dark blue dress pants, and black shoes. He also wears a blue tie with a gold tie clip. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Asher Shine is the son of Mr. Shine, who is the head administrator of the Cena Tower, and Mrs. Shine, who is the president of the Fior D Country Club. Asher is very rube, arrogant, and refuses to believe that he is wrong on anything, even if he’s shown proof. He believes that everything must cater to him regardless of the situation. His hobbies are playing with his toy yachts and pop pop boats, sailing, and, with Zaire and Saxe, building and launching model rockets. 

York Hildebrand

Appearance: York is an eight-year-old boy that has Kano descent. He has dark green hair and green eyes. He is a longleg. He wears a white polo shirt, beige shorts, and white sneakers. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: York Hildebrand is the son of Mr. Hildebrand, who is the principal of Ymer Prep School, and Mrs. Hildebrand, who is a “new age” thinker that believes that her way of life is the best way, including alternative medicine, ideas on relationships, hands-off parenting, and hippie culture. York often gets away with his bullying because his father would often cover up the incidents. He tends to get into fights with other children, especially with those who have a lower status than him. His hobbies are mini-golf, playing with his modified toy sport cars, and cade games.

Fay Ballmer

Appearance: Fay is a four-year-old girl with orange hair and pink eyes. She wears a light pink shirt with a white jumper dress over it. She also has a pair of pink socks and white shoes. For Ymer Prep, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a blue skirt with white plaid designs, white knee height socks, and a pair of black shoes with ivory-colored buckles.

About: Fay Ballmer is the daughter of Mr. Ballmer, who is the CEO of Ballmer Perfume Company, and Mrs. Ballmer, who is the Secretary of the HOA. She is extremely spoiled and believes that Cream should ”share” everything with her. That includes snacks, toys, and even gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ballmer tried to justify it by kept saying that their daughter needs attention too. Fay does not understand why Tanith doesn’t like her and won’t allow her to “share” with Cream. Her hobbies are tennis, dancing, and figure skating.

Tariff Banks

Appearance: Tariff is a six-year-old boy with dark gray hair and brown eyes. He has a Rama descent. He wears a white shirt with a green cardigan, beige pants, and black shoes. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Tariff Banks is the son of Mr. Banks, who is the Treasurer of Noko Island, and Mrs. Banks, who is a fashion model. Tariff is a very smart young boy who scores very high in Ymer Prep. He enjoys the constant praise that he received from his friends and parents. He would often be a prankster with his friends and would do harsh pranks to others, especially Cream. His hobbies are pranking, cricket, and card games with York and Vance.

Why the people in Noko Island hates Cream and before Lesedi? Opera is the minister of the island. Shouldn’t he be the reason why the anger towards them stopped?

You’re right about Opera. He SHOULD be the reason why the hatred towards them could stop.

Too bad that he’s not willing to make an effort for it.

Here’s a little history lesson for context why. As Noko Island was made, its large size and natural scenery attracted the wealthy and lesser nobles. When Opera got married to his first wife, Schindler Louise, the island’s appearance is meant to resemble Flevance, a place that she visited often as a child. Her design is so accurate that Noko Island is a nearly 1:1 replica to Flevance.

This attracted more families, including those who will create the Home Owners Association that would want to maintain the natural beauty, and value, of the island. Opera and Louise are happy that people came to Noko Island for its beauty. After Louise’s death, Opera was forced to marry Lesedi soon after. Worrying about upsetting the residents, Opera would try to maintain the goodwill with them and would often make compromises, even if there is one side that is completely in the wrong.

With that out of the way, let’s get into the reasons why the Noko Island residents don’t like Lesedi and Cream. Lesedi is often a target of rumors for the adults. The same case with Cream but with the children.

One of the reasons is that they believed that Lesedi is a gold digger who married a widower for his money. This is false because it was an arranged marriage and Lesedi had no say in this. This is hypocritical for some of the young socialites, including Iverson’s mother, Lene, married his father, Ranald, for his money and status.

Another reason is that she is from a lower status. The Qinisa Tribe best resembles upper middle class. They also believe that Lesedi lacks style due to her refusing to wear the clothes of Noko Island. This extends to Cream.

Lesedi is constantly shamed by the women in the island because of her body types and accused her of seducing their husbands even though she dressed conservatively and never expose their cleavage.

The HOA, run by Mrs. Smiles, is very controlling about the houses, shops, and buildings to maintain the property value. This then extended to how people maintain their homes on the inside and what they wear. They constantly target Lesedi for the clothes mentioned before, along with her attractive body type, having a job prior to marriage, and not wanting children. The administrators of the Fior D Country Club actually banned her for similar reasons. Not to mention that Lesedi would often get 10,000 beli fines for the smallest and nonsensical things to where she didn’t left the house for days or weeks at a time to avoid them. Mrs. Smiles also hates Cream and it got worse after the Beehive Incident.

Cream’s school, Ymer Prep School, refused to accommodate to her, saying that it would lower the status of the school if they do. Ymer Prep School has very unnecessary and draconian rules for their students and their families. They constantly punish Cream for little to no reason.

(There is a small special-needs school in Noko Island that is willing to accommodate for Cream but Opera was pressured to keep her in Ymer Prep school.)

Speaking of autism, the Noko Island residents are extremely misinformed about it and Cream. They believe that she got it because she was vaccinated, that she’s very violent, or she should be isolated. None of these are true. Parents would often tell their children to stay away from her. This led to harassment and bullying from the children and their parents did little to stop it.

This is where Opera trying to compromise comes in. Despite people like the Ymer Prep Dean and Mrs. Smiles are completely in the wrong for mistreating Cream, Opera tried to be neutral with them. This includes parting some of the blame on her. Not only this upsets Cream but this frustrates his children from his first marriage, Berliner, Millie, Feuille, and Strudel as well. This deeply anger Cream’s nanny, Tanith, who sees Opera as a spineless coward.

One Piece OCs: The Brat Trio and Spike

These four will serve as comedic, recurring antagonist to Cream. While Cream is homeschooled, the Brat Trio attends Ymer Prep School, the most elite and affluent private school of Totto Land. Expect some arrogance from these kids.

Iverson

Age: 6

Appearance: Iverson is a pale young boy with light green hair and sea-green eyes. Usually, he wears a white polo shirt with brown shorts and white sneakers. In school, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Iverson is an arrogant young boy who behaves rather harshly towards Cream. He often harasses her along with Zaire and Charissa. He refers to her as a “mute freak” or “homeschool weirdo”. Like his friends and schoolmates, he came from an affluent family and among the popular children in Noko Island. Unlike the other children, he has different intentions when it comes to Cream. Iverson is more of a tsundere. Iverson does like Cream but doesn’t know how to show it as the only time he gets to see her is when she’s outside of her house.

Zaire

Age: 8

Appearance: Zaire is a young boy of Kijani descent. He had black hair and red eyes. Usually, he wears a white shirt with a champagne-colored waistcoat. He also wears blue shorts and black boots. In school, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Zaire is a very spoiled and competitive boy who believes that he’s better than Cream in every possible way. Being from an affluent family, his parents never discipline him harshly. Along with his high status, his family owns the 99th floor of the Cena Tower. Along with Charissa and Iverson, he harassed Cream whenever she’s outside her house or in her backyard, sometimes with the other schoolchildren. He has shown to be very aggressive towards her as whenever Opera set up a play date between them, Zaire would always leave her playroom ruined, her toys broken, and her hair disheveled. Zaire would always say “We were just playing!” as a defense. He even went as far as to insult her family as he claimed his parents are better than her own. He has academic awards from his school and always shoved it to Cream’s face, who is homeschooled.

Charissa

Age: 7

Appearance: Charissa is a fair-skin girl with red hair and hazel eyes. Her hair is in two puffy pigtails and she has freckles. She has braces with elastics, a lingual arch, and orthodontic headgear to support her bite and jaw alignment. Usually, she wears a white dress with green polka dots and white shoes with green helms. In school, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a blue skirt with white plaid designs, white knee height socks, and a pair of black shoes with ivory-colored buckles. 

About: Charissa is the daughter of the popular orthodontist, Dr. Smiles, who is known for his successful surgeries. Because of her orthodontic headgear, she is very insecure. Adding to that, her father is neglectful of her as he enjoys fame. She hates Cream for having the “perfect smile” and able to eat most sweets. Charissa is upset that the famed Dr. Harbas returned to Totto Land, taking the attention away from her father. She uses her pet dog Spike to scare and intimidate Cream whenever the latter steps outside her home.

Spike 

Age: 1 

Appearance: Spike is a large brown Boerboel breed. He has a spiked collar with his name tag. 

About: Spike is Charissa’s pet dog. Usually, he is a calm dog around his owner as she is the one who trained him. However, whenever Cream and Pecan appear, he becomes aggressive and chases after them. Charissa always claims that Cream provoked him, causing him to chase her until she went over the fence or climb up a tree. Spike would often take one of Cream's shoes whenever he chases her. He even has a collection of those shoes, which are all ragged and torn. This leads to Opera and Verity wondering why 

When Cream gets her pet dog, Pecan, Spike would always tries to make his life miserable but he is unsuccessful to do so since Pecan is not afraid of Spike like Cream is. Secretly, Spike is actually intimidated by the pug as he sensed something off about Pecan.

Saxe Milken 

Appearance: Saxe is a eight-year-old boy with blond hair and red eyes. He is a half-Orca fishman but his only fishman feature is sharp orca teeth. He wears a white blouse with a red sweater vest over it, a black jacket, black pants, and crimson shoes. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Saxe Milken is the son of Chef Milken, who’s a very popular chef in Totto Land and one of the WCI 31, and Mrs. Milken, who is a theater actress and dancer. He is the older brother of Salma. He is known to be rather hostile to others whom he deemed to be inferior and would often do petty revenge when something doesn’t go his way. These include vandalism and threats. His hobbies are building and launching model rockets with Zaire and Asher, go-karting, swimming, airsoft rifle/paintball shooting, and hunting

Salma Milken 

Appearance: Salma is a five-year-old girl with blonde hair and magenta eyes. She wears a white shirt with purple star designs and a white and purple tutu skirt. She is a Half-Peacock Cichlid mermaid. For Ymer Prep, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt and a blue skirt with white plaid designs.

About: Salma Milken is the daughter of Chef Milken and Mrs. Milken. She is the younger sister of Saxe. Unlike her older brother, she is not violent and won’t cause property damage. She is nicer to Cream but her mother and brother constantly discourage her from being friends with her. Salem is rather bratty and expects everything to be given to her. She is the closest Cream considered to be a friend. She has a pet Chihuahua named Nini. Her hobbies are gardening with her mother, textile arts, and swimming.

Perot Oleni

Appearance: Perot is an eight-year-old boy with red hair and gray eyes. He wears a white shirt with a blue tie and a dark gray jacket over it. He also wears a pair of beige pants and brown dress shoes. He has the Junior Police Program badge on his jacket. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Perot Oleni is the son of Mr. Oleni, the captain of the Milk Police, and Mrs. Oleni, the supervisor of the Community Planning Committee. Perot is known to be very picky as he wants everything to be done in a certain way. This includes his food, his playtime, his clothes, and much more. He is a part of the Junior Police Program and wants to become a detective. He often would try to look for strange and unusual phenomena in Noko Island, not thinking about the safety of himself or others. His hobbies are cricket, playing detective, water polo, and rock climbing.

Coreopsis “Cora” Koch

Appearance: Cora is a seven-year-old girl with chestnut hair and maroon eyes. She wears a white sundress with pink flower designs. She has pink sandals and a pair of golden earrings. For Ymer Prep, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a blue skirt with white plaid designs, white knee height socks, and a pair of black shoes with ivory-colored buckles.

About: Cora Koch is the daughter of Mr. Koch, the Head Engineer of the Totto Land Transportation; Noko Island division, and Mrs. Koch, who is the Postmistress of Noko Island. She is a very well-known gossiper within Ymer Prep, often spreading rumors about those who she deems have a lower status than her and her friends. Recently, she believes that there is witchcraft on the island due to the strange phenomena occurring, especially after her mother gotten a strange package from an unknown source. Her hobbies are archery, badminton, volleyball, and fencing. 

Harriet Tepper

Appearance: Harriet is a tan-skinned six-year-old girl with black hair and dark orange eyes. She has a West Indian descent and a half-Hare mink. Her features are a tail and her immense speed. She wears a white shirt with a golden bow, a yellow skirt, a pair of white socks, and black shoes. For Ymer Prep, she wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a blue skirt with white plaid designs, white knee height socks, and a pair of black shoes with ivory-colored buckles.About: Harriet Tepper is the daughter of Mr. Tepper, who is a popular coach who owns the Star Companion Gym, and Mrs. Tepper, who is a renowned fashion, makeup, and hairstylist. She is extremely competitive in sports and beauty pageants. She always got first place in these events. Even if she’s not in a contest, she will make a competition out of simple kids’ games. She would often do it again Cream because she knows she will win against her and humiliate her. Her hobbies are gymnastics, running, being in beauty pageants, dancing, and tennis.

Vance Rollins

Appearance: Vance is a five-year-old boy with auburn hair and yellow eyes. He wears a light blue plaid shirt with white overalls and a hat. He also has a pair of brown shoes and a dark blue bow tie. For Ymer Prep, he wears the standard uniform, which is a beige sweater vest with the school’s badge, a white shirt, a black tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.

About: Vance Rollins is the son of Mr. Rollins, who is the Speaker of the White Town Meeting Hall and a pharmacist, and Mrs. Rollins, who is the owner of the Vla Day Spa. He is rather haughty to his classmates when it comes to his skills in rugby and hockey as his mother constantly praises him. Though, his father would usually break his grandeur. Despite this, Vance would become shy around Cream for “uncertain” reasons. His hobbies are skiing, rugby, hockey, and riding his tricycle.
