an unstoppable force (me studying crime for a living) meets an immovable object (my inaptitude to solve or even understand mystery and detective media)
#me: will profile real life criminals and correctly point out within minutes the culprit of a murder#me when video game: why does it matter if the room was closed from the inside wtf do i even do with this#yknow its bc games and books are all about the puzzle and the way pieces fit together#and irl its all about human connections and motivations#so if you understand ppl then you have a very strong blueprint that helps you with most crimes#its more fun that way imo#always preferred the human aspect#even if its with fictional characters#over instrumental aspects like fitting overly complicated and unrealistic puzzle pieces in a videogame#like do you rly think ppl irl do closed room murders irl 😭😭😭#coffee break
