dara and rowena were on opposite sides of the mothering spectrum with theron i think. both of them came into a caretaker role for them suddenly and unexpectedly. dara did not care about them and made sure they stayed quiet and out of sight. rowena loved them with all she had and put their needs above everyone elses on earth. both of them fucked it up immensely and gave theron even more mental problems
