anon 1: wAIT what if Ilya had a darling w a little sister or brother? Like not a super little kid but like the darling is twenty something and their sibling is like 16 or smth.. technically killing them wouldn't affect their siblings upbringing, right? But it's still affect their sibling.. 🤔

t-this is scarily spot on because i’m also 20-something and my little sister is 16.

ilya would still kill his darling unless there are special circumstances, such as the sibling relies on darling to take care of them (ex. perhaps the sibling has a disability and relies on darling since their parents are busy with work). at the end of the day, ilya is only concerned with hurting children, but he doesn’t particularly care for the relationships between family members because well...he never got that luxury growing up, so why should they?

again, ilya is a huge hypocrite, so he only protects children if they are in immediate danger, more so when they are young and even more vulnerable. a teenager can usually take care of themselves, so although they’re still kids in his eyes, he’s less concerned with them. he coddles them far less than he coddles younger kids.

anon 2: Imagine if Ilya stumbled upon a kid who killed an adult in self defense.

ilya would be so conflicted; on one hand, he absolutely does not want children involved in the horrible things he does, does not want them to be part of any murder; on the other, he can’t leave them like that, scared and alone and bloody and fearful for their future. he’d help the poor kid get away with murder, even going so far as to make it look like jack the ripper caused the murder; in other words, he’d shift the blame to himself.

afterwards, he’d ensure the kid is placed in a safe home (say, if the murdered adult was a parent) or returned home safely. providing or getting therapy for the kid would be much more difficult, but i imagine ilya would anonymously send money to the kid / kid’s parents to help pay for the therapy sessions.

as big a dick as ilya may be, he goes above and beyond for children.

anon 3: Wait sorry for botherin u again but what if au Ilya had a kid in his class who was gettin bullied? Cause it's one of his kids being hurt but the bullies are also technically his kids yk?

AU ilya in this case was referring to kindergarten teacher ilya! yeah...i took that long to answer this... :(

hmm, this is a tough situation. hurting children, even bullies, goes against everything ilya stands for, but he would certainly discipline the bully in some what. maybe it’s more one-on-one time with the kid, pulling them aside during recess to teach them the importance of manners and being kind. for those who know of ilya’s more questionable tendencies, this is hilarious coming from him of all people; the man never learned to take his own words to heart. typical hypocrite!

as for the kid who was bullied, he’d pay extra attention to them. for example, during that same recess, he’d play with them more than other kids or pull them aside to make sure everything’s going ok. it’s also a great way to check in and ensure the bully is taking ilya’s advice to heart!

anon 4: I wouldn't wanna b ilyas darling at all but like maybe just maybe the thought of being a student he watches out for makes me a little bit super soft- Especially since u said he views teenagers as kids too basically and I am a teenager and I lowkey rly have a thing for adults watching out for me much more than romantic relationships so kinda um I'm v soft for Ilya rn possibly-

aw man, just imagine: ilya being your mentor. the man isn’t all about sex and murder, he loves teaching and helping kids blossom. if you’re into art and photography, he’s your guy. 

and, as an only child, he’s always wanted siblings, so he’ll happily take on the role of your older brother, and if not, well... he treats all his students like his little siblings anyways. he doesn’t plan on having kids, so pretending the kids he looks after are his siblings is therapeutic. kindergarten teacher ilya is nowhere near as broken as og ilya, so perhaps he can turn his life around with the support and love of his students and mentees.

 yk that msn messenger thing we used to use like forever ago? my friends and i had this emoticon of a guy we assumed was from a kpop group laughing and he was adorable so we decided to look for him in music videos cause we knew kpop existed but we werent rly interested in it so i tried looking for him in shinee videos and instead i found taemin and fun fact: i still dont know who the emoticon guy was lmao

my favorite member has always been taemin but ive been in such an ot5 mood recently ;;

better is a really really special song to me because i remember when the album wasnt released yet and the only way to listen to it was in a super lq tudou video and right around that time my cousin came home from japan so he brought me the album and it was my first album and i treasure it so dearly TT but honestly im the biggest sucker for shinees japanese discography

the first is really special for me, i love every song and theyre all in japanese and key is in a shopping cart i just love it so much ♡

like a fire from swc iii clearly also their very first live comeback stage for everybody it was so good? the first time they performed sleepless night and tho i hate it when a member is missing i find it really nice to hear the other members covering their parts

cute af, onew and keys voices destroyed me and i did not believe the mushroom guy from replay was the long haired lucifer himself in the lucifer mv

umm yes they impress me everyday let me live rip 

but jokes aside tbh every time taemin performs sayonara hitori he got me SO shook its never the same and like this isnt necessarily impressing me but sometimes taemins smile is so beautiful i cant believe and i cry

tbh i dont really like talking about change because im idk i guess im a little stuck up but one thing im really happy about is the fact that minkey got over their infamous fight and taemin has clearly become this amazing artist but it was kind of to be expected cause weve known him since he was a lil tiny child

i dont really know how to judge this adkjnvjnf i guess onew has had the least physical change since he was already almost becoming an adult when he debuted so we got to see less of his natural maturing and stuff but i also feel like jonghyun has accepted himself a lot over the years so hes allowed us to see a side of him that has always been there so even though it was sort of new to us at first, it wasnt really a change

im actually really weak for even mildly cute lyrics like its two words and im on the floor screaming and there are some really specific ones that people really dont care for but i think are so beautiful like the “im not important” part in selene 6.23 and theres something along the lines of “i want you to depend/rely on me” in colors of the season but like the english translations dont do it justice i think the meaning in the original japanese words is so deep (and its probably really not lmao) also really simple ones like “you are the reason of my smile” in always love i just! want! to talk! about! lyrics!

key 100% i remember when i first got into shinee id think key was taemin because he looked the best and i thought oh that must be the long haired guy

when i was in japan there was a day i bought a fuck load of albums and random merch and the store clerks were all really nice to me and at the end of the day i remember when i was leaving shin ookubo, there was a store playing lucifer pretty loud so it felt like it was the soundtrack of my life as i walked down the street lmao and it was really the perfect way to finish such a great day

30: If you could tell SHINee anything you wanted…what would that be?

i think about this a lot but i still havent found an answer orz i think i would just end up telling them theyre the most important thing in my life but i wish i could let them know how much they mean like not to be dramatic but i couldnt live without them, i wish there was a way to make that sound good yk cause like it sounds way too extreme and generic and maybe hard to believe but i wish i knew a way to let them really understand how much they mean to me
