“Thanks again for helping out, Jordan, since these are only personal deliveries,” Masu said as she glanced down at their delivery bag.

Just as Jordan started to head out, she called out to him. “Wait, wait!” Ducking under the counter for a brief moment, she pulled out another cookie bag and letter.

 With a cheeky smile she hands them over, his name clearly written as the recipient on both.

Jordan blinked in surprise when Masu grabbed another Valentine and bag of cookies. He suddenly half flopped, half slid across the counter as he hugged Masu. 

“Wahhh! Thank you so much Masu!!” He was so happy (and a little mushy)

An accidental meeting

Mengie looked around at the unfamiliar town that she had arrived in. She had heard from Lorna that she had stopped here often enough but the child wanted to know why. 

Spotting a head of purple hair approaching from the other end of the street caused an excited squeal resembling the words “Lorna!” were heard, before the monster girl launched herself at the woman in a hug that knocked the bystander off their feet with a shocked noise. Mengie noticed something was weird.
