lu guang's superpower was noticed by his dad when he was seven.

I am very surprised by the fact that

1. lu guang was once 7 years old

2. he had a dad

honestly speaking, I don't like these dad figures in any media. i have special hatred for them. but anyway.

there is this fandom theory that suggests people activate their powers through traumatic situations...7 years old bro, what THE HELL happened to my child! and his father noticing his superpower is ABSOLUTELY NOT making me comfortable. sorry. but I can't

so I watched ep. 4 of link click yingdu and holy fuck yall

well at least we know that its likely in any timeline Cheng got his powers himself he didnt have to get traumatized by watchin someone die (still traumatized tho in this case bc lets be honest what is link click with out trauma).

I am curious to see if they are going to explain why certain people have powers though, because ig in the grand scheme of this web of time that link click has woven its not the most pressing matter.

also im pretty sure yingdu is supposed to be the prequel to season 1 and 2 like specifically and considering Cheng didnt know he could clap himself into a photo by himself in season 1 I am curious to see how the show ties this all together because link click is way to fucking smart to mess up a big detail like this

I mean I really hope they dont but I wouldn't put it passed link click to kill Cheng by the end of yingdu have lu dive again and then consequently lead into s1 and s2

Yingdu Spoilers!!!!

OK so things we know with the end of Yingdu:

1. This all happened prior to S1 and 2, same timeline. As per Lu Guang this is his last chance. Why? Who knows right now. Also LG has said fuck it and is down with making changes.

Which means the disyointed animation ont he first 2-3 episodes are either truly errors, or Lu Guang being fucked up by so many dives he can't distinguish well at the start which timeline he's in. Anyways Cheng Xiaoshi diving into himself in ep 1 still in the air either way.

2. Cheng Xiaoshi mother is meddling with time bc weimin is super dead.

and I think Lu Guang knows, bc he delayed so qing Wang could use her powers to kill vein which she wouldn't have been able to do possessed by Xiaoshi mom. Also he didn't pressure Xiaoshi to tell him which given LG proved interest in managing the timeline... He knows. Anyways, this is setting up stuff for s3.

3. We all in agreement Liu Xiao is the mastermind yeah? Yeah. It was so spoofed it was funny in that last scene lol. We still don't know anything else about him.

4. Someone can revive or control corpses bc Vein dead dead body opened its eyes. Repercussions will be in s3.

5.¿¿Confirmed?? That Cheng Xiaoshi needs a clap and the photo; he didn't clap when he went into the first photo so. Who knows. As of know, clapping seems obligatory. (doubts)

6. Lu Guang got his powers at age 7 and his father talked him through using them. He said so, but who knows. We still don't know wht this means re his fam, if his dad has powers too (Xiaoshi got his from mom clearly), if they were entangled with the org (?) (if there is one), if he's just lying trough his teeth. s3 again.

7. We still don't know if Qiao Ling knows what Lu Guang knows except for that single death vision at the end of s2.

8. Felix (and Jack?) dissapearences on present day which lu guang is looking at.

probably another timeline change probably xia fei going under with liu Xiao and vein (zombie? himself?) probably bc revenge. Yikes.
