I forget to post so here's an accumulation of my yhs fan art that I could find some old some from 2 days ago

YHS Rewrite/Redesign: Alec.

⚠️Warning! SPOILERS FOR ITSFUNNEH’S YHS AND YHS: A SERIALIZATION BY PROXY⚠️

OH. MY. GOD. this little rat has been sitting in my draft box for like a month. like i have his character down but his design needed a round 2. thankfully, i pulled through.

Meet alec. Alec is close to his mother and tolerates his sister depending on the day. He’s blunt, and somewhat calloused, but cares for the few friends he has.

He also works for a murderer.

YOU ALL KNOW WHO, in addition to a ridiculous amount of cash, has a bunch of dirt on Alec, that could not only ruin his life, but his loved ones, too. Alec is forced to work with the “Terror of Yamada High” (name pending) and… dispose of YAKW’s messes.

Putting aside his deal with the devil, Alec has had a tough life. His dad was a dirtbag, his mom’s working two jobs to support Alec and his sister’s education, the whole deal. Such an unstable upbringing has instilled only one value in him: loyalty.

As Kat and Alec bond over similar experiences as poor kids with immigrant parents, YAKW might influence Alec in ways previously unseen in Itsfunneh’s original Yandere High School…

RAMBLES ABT THE YUMI GANGG

ngl I've been keeping my tangents away because they have so much potential and I'm kind of gatekeeping them for my personal stuff... But here's one that just pains my heart:

Alec interacting with Yumi's gang is very interesting because they're people that don't seem to mind killing people.

here are my HCs kicking in but:

- mood tempered Yumi

- chatty Celeste who has very sensitive ears which makes her be able to hear from very far away (hence the fact that she's good at gathering intel and knows all the gossip at school without having connections)

- Elijah who's well intentioned but eventually just thinks that his life just had to go down this path

I like to think that Celeste and Elijah are people who never got help and eventually just kind of feel dependent on each other. They hurt each other because they don't know what else to do... They're there for each other but they just don't get how the other feels.

In general I think they give the vibe of a circus' freakshow. Alec both pities them and also thinks that... in terms of social status, is he also like them? Is he as hopeless as them?

And here I feel like Alec would just go on a spiral where he decides that maybe the hard work he's been tirelessly doing is vain. That everything he does means nothing. That what he is as a person, is worthless as well. His future does not exist. I mean, I don't think he can go on much longer knowing that he's been helping a murderer.

and I feel like he would get more reckless and try to test his limits- EXCEPTT THAT HE HAS FRIENDS!!! WHO CARE ABOUT HIM!! Kyran, Gold, Funneh, Evan, pls show up #mlp #mlp:Fim #friendshipismagic

OHHHH AND THERE WOULD STILL BE ANGST BC THEYRE ASKING HIM WHATS WRONG, BUT HE HAS TO LIE ANYWAY BECAUSE HE KNOWS THEY WILL LEAVE HIM IF HE TELLS THE TRUTHHH

Anyways here are my suggestions plot-wise for this element to develop: Yumi makes them go on a fun (not fun) car trip for her Yandere endeavours (and pays alec a crap ton since yk he'll have to be away for a few days). Maybe it happens in the middle of a normal school period and we get 2 stories; Alec going on the van thing and getting frustrated with this but eventually has to mingle with Yumi's gang, and Funneh and her friends doing... whatever that could be parallel to what the other group is doing. (hope that made sense)

This means that we'll get some off handed sass and resentment from Celeste and Elijah against... whoever hurt her or just did her wrong. Idk just that type of stuff. I think Alec would obviously still not like them but this backstory shit did contextualise things for him. I feel like he DOES feel bad for them but then when they all go like "so Alec do u want to see us chop off this person's head? LOL!" he just... backs off.

Gold/Kim YHS Redesign

OKAY for gold i wanted to emphasize her properness and luxury while keeping her design simple, so i kept the monochromatic color palette, while reserving colors other than gold for her ribbon and bag. she’s also one of the tallest main characters because i thought it would be neat.

In my version, gold and funneh would be cousins. funneh would have trouble staying in one school whilst gold has been attending Yamada High since freshman year. funneh’s parents would send her to YHS (because it’s a more preppy school) and hope that gold would be a good influence to funneh. their mistake was not realizing that gold could be just as, if not more chaotic than funneh if given the chance. gold wants to be a journalist, and sneaking around police investigations to gather evidence is her favorite part of it.

Gold IS a lot more mature and cautious than funneh, but whenever she gets into trouble, it’s a LOT of trouble. basically she only breaks the rules when she thinks the rules aren’t doing their job (ie protecting and serving justice). and boy does she break them. she only volunteers at a police station (besides obtaining service hours for civics) to get her hands on information the police wont tell the public. her grades are impressive, but she cant ace a test she hasn’t studied for, unlike funneh.
