Well, when the game began in the TCG we had La Jinn and Summoned Skull as our major beatsticks, but in the OCG at Vol.1's launch, Hitotsu-Me's 1200/1000 was the best statline for a no-tribute monster! Yes, 1200 atk was the original beatstick. Can you imagine whittling down 8000 LP using monsters so underpowered?
