just burbling about the new screenshots from this Twitter thread from a few days ago :) -

I like how they are showcasing different Rooks in the promotional and marketing material (lineages, classes, ethnicities etc). ^^ it shows the wide variety of Rooks we can make in CC. this human dude Rook is the one in the release date reveal trailer. look at the eyebrow game! :D and if you compare his facial hair to DA:I and stuff, it's come a long way just like the hair-hair. looks great! the pattern at Rook's collar is a pair of wings. I wonder if this Rook is a Warden, and they represent griffon wings, or being that a rook is a bird, this motif is a more general Rook thing?

the design of the armor Rook is wearing here (bandolier of pouches, the shoulder pieces, curved lines on the breastplate etc) reminds me of the 'iconic' armor Rook wears in the key art, just sans helmet and with hood down, in a blue tone instead of purple, and without the Veilguard symbol on the breastplate. I wonder if this scene is from somewhere in the early game, when the companions are probably at that point just Neve and Harding? maybe it's like, before they get a Veilguard symbol, they first need to, well, form Voltron the Veilguard in the first place, and recruit the rest of the companions etc.

the background is the shifting surface of an eluvian, either about to be used or having just been used (cool visual effect btw). the curving gold architecture of the buildings that can be seen in the other location through the eluvian there is ancient elven, so Rook must have just come from (or be about to go to) somewhere which has those style of buildings. maybe Arlathan Forest, maybe Solas' Ritual site in the Forest, etc.

elf lady Warrior Rook and Davrin. again great eyebrow game. :D she is so pretty. she also has the wing motif at her collar. again her armor looks like the key art one. hers is in a purple tone rather than blue like the Rook above though - is this due a dyeing system? ^^ this one has the Veilguard logo on it, so maybe this shot is from a bit later in the game after the Veilguard has been brought together? a few details of the armor are also different compared to above, like buttons. I wonder if this is due to rogue version of the armor vs warrior version, armor customization, or armor upgrade.

Davrin is so ears. I love elves with big ears like this. :D 2 elf warriors yeyyy

Davrin looks amazing! the design of his vallaslin reminds me a bit of the Ghilan'nain vallaslin design from DA:I. there are some neat thoughts on the design of Davrin's armor here. :>

the detailing and texturing etc on Neve's clothes in this shot is craaazy (as in crazy good). even the netting on her hat/fascinator has a lil pattern in it. Tevene snakey scales, the folds of the fabric, raindrops on her clothes, the fact that the snake pattern on her hat is three dimensional..

Davrin and Neve - some of our companions love huge cool collars :D

also, just like her saunter, Neve's half-smile/smirk (dimple.. 🥺) here has me weak in the knees.

location: looks like some kind of ruin maybe? ^^

I wanna believe that our dragon hunter Taash is looking up here into the sky at.. a dragon :D I loved getting to see this detailed close up of her dragonscale shoulderpieces and her jewelry etc. in this shot we can see that her gold-plated horn has spiky triangle bits on it and more detailing on the faces carved on her horn cuffs and the dragon piece at her neck. also I'm not sure if it's just the angle in this particular shot, but her brow looks strong, which I love and think makes sense when big horns grow from your head. :>

Star Trek TNG x Neutral! Reader: The Crew’s members and S/O dance together! - [ Part 2 ]

{ Yeyyy!

Even if nobody cares, I have written the second part of this POST with other  

characters because I wanted to do it. 

Nobody can't stop me to write my babies!!!

So here I am! I won’t stop! }

➤ Geordie La Forge:

Even in his free time he works and he can’t stay away from his job and he must do experiments every time.

Actually, S/O work with him, they are his assistant and they help Geordie very often, so they two still know each other but Geordie does not know his friend (S/O) feels something for him, a sentiment very different from a simple friendship.

S/O admire and love him a lot but they have never confessed it, they are pretty sure he sees them just like a normal friend and they are very skilled to hide their true feelings.

Yes, he’s too busy with his job to realize how they feel but it’s ok, S/O don’t complain and they work together even when they should rest.

Geordie tells to them that it’s okay, they can go to sleep and he can finish the job alone but they are stubborn enough, they want to help him (and be with him, so it’s a good excuse to make him company).

With time, seeing their determination and ability, Geordie starts feeling something for them, he’s a nice guy and he truly appreciates their help, the fact that they are always here to help him even during their free time. It’s laudable!

Geordie is impressed but they say that it’s their job and this spaceship is their home and so it’s their duty to check that everything is perfect. 

S/O and Geordie often talk about their hobbies when the job is not hard and there is nobody around. The two of them have so many things in common and Geordie is the one to make the first move.

Since they are so nice and smart, Geordie asks to them if they want to spend some time together after the job and S/O accept with a big smile on their face.

No, it’s unbelievable. Their crush has already asked them to spend time together. It’s a dream. They are going to faint because of the happiness!

Even Geordie can’t believe they have truly accepted. They said yes. Finally, some fun and a chance to do something different from working.

Yes, the date won’t be in the engine room, they still spend most of their life in that place. Let’s change!

Geordie finds out new things about his friend he did not know before, for example the fact that they are a dancer and they danced when they were younger. He’s impressed.

He’s not a real dancer, maybe he does not know how to do it, but it’s the right time to learn and they can teach him.

This date becomes a dancing lesson, pretty funny, Geordie is embarrassed and he does not want S/O to think he’s an idiot because he’s unable to dance.

Ah, they can teach him how to dance properly (and it’s a good way to hug him and have him close).

At the end, he enjoys the moment he spends with them, he wants these days to be more intense, and they should happen more often.

➤ Beverly Crusher:

S/O work with Beverly as a nurse and so they have always the chance to stay by her side and love her from afar.

Beverly cares a lot about his job so she does not realize her colleague has a crush on her. She’s too busy to pay attention to these things, her patients are more important.

Then, she still thinks to his departed husband and S/O think they have no hope against a beloved ex that’s even dead. No way. No chance!

Even when Beverly organizes her theatre plays, S/O participate every time and they have always played some role in her pieces and Beverly thinks they are truly a good actor (but she still does not know they can dance, too).

We know Beverly is a great dancer and maybe it can be a good excuse to spend some beautiful time with her but S/O should just find the courage they need to ask her for a date.

Maybe one of these days could be the right day, who knows…

There are so many opportunities but the two of them are never alone and so, maybe, S/O should make the first step and be more direct.  

Yes. They find their lost courage, they reach her bedroom, and there S/O will have the chance of speaking with her.

S/O ask something about the piece she’s organizing, something of the screenplay is not so clear and so she has to explain to them how the scene goes.

Oh, there is a scene where they have to dance together. Such a coincidence. S/O appear quite amused and shy because they did not think they have to dance with the doctor… Wow. It’s beautiful but odd at the same time.

Then, S/O find the courage they need and ask to Beverly if they can make some practice togethe, she accepts.

It’s a big victory for S/O but it’s still not a date but it can become a real date with the right atmosphere.

Beverly did not except S/O have this hidden talent because they dance very well and she was so amused and glad. She finally has found the partner she needed and they were right by her side, life is very strange sometimes.

S/O can’t be happier than that and they find the courage to invite Beverly to a true date  

Maybe dance is not the only thing they have in common.

➤ Worf:

Not even S/O know how they would have fallen in love with a guy like him.

It’s strange, very strange… Or maybe not so much.

He is not even a human and this thing makes everything more difficult for them since they didn’t know the Klingon’s culture very well but they could still learn, after all. And Worf would feel honoured if some of the best cadets would approach his culture.

It’s very hard approaching a man like Worf and he surely would have not accepted a date –especially a human date, too weird and fluffy-. He’s a warrior and warriors don’t organize romantic dates, too weird.

S/O find an alternative solution to stay by his side and speak with him without disturbing him or make him uncomfortable

It’s time to learn the Klingon’s culture and there’s no better way to learn from a true Klingon and so S/O ask to Worf if he can help them with their research/project because it’s important to know the history of the strongest and bravest warriors of the galaxy (Worf feels very fluttered and he can’t deny it).

S/O ask him about Klingon’s traditions, languages and behaviour, they also want to learn to fight like a Klingon, to think like a Klingon and learn every kind of festivity or custom of this race.

Worf did not think they were so interested and passionate towards his culture and it’s something that makes him very proud (well, he still does not smile and his face is always so severe.)

He takes this job very seriously and he’s a very severe teacher but S/O is not a pussy and they can handle his aggressive and exaggerated behaviours.

It seems S/O’s plan worked because now they’re spending a lot of time with their crush and Worf does not even think S/O feel that kind of sentiment towards him. He’s so naive sometimes.

Only when the two of them are true friends (and it can take months) they can confess to him their feeling but it’s a very hard part and they’re not sure he could feel the same.

One day, they ask to Worf something about the Klingon’s dances and he’s quite shocked because he’s a fighter and not a dancer. He can’t lose his time with these “women stuff”.

They convince him that it could be funny dancing together some Klingon song and they truly care about it. Worf does not know but he remembers some dance of his culture and maybe he can make an exception.

 After all, S/O have been a very diligent and smart student and he can be softer for once.

Of course, S/O have to keep it as a secret and nobody must know he dances. No single person!

Kotatsu Imagine (Mystic Messenger)

Zen

"(Nameeee)! Are you oka- You're in kotatsu again!" You ignored him as you were sitting comfortably under the kotatsu while watching TV.

"Seriously, are you gonna keep doing like this? Not opening the door when I'm back that I thought something happens to you" Zen pouted before approaching you.

"Well you have the key right? You can just open it yourself"

"But I want to receive a big hug after a tiring day from workkk!" He whined.

"Zen, can you be quiet for a moment? It's getting interesting!" You said as you got hooked into the show you were watching.

Zen began to sulk as he felt that his girlfriend chose kotatsu over him. He, a majestic creation from God that everyone just jealous on how handsome he is actually lost to an object?!

"Fine..."

You kept your attention on the TV for a while until you notice he literally sat next to the sofa and sulked. A sigh escaped from your lips and you actually got out of the kotatsu before grabbing his collar and dragged him.

"(N-Name)-?!"

"A cuddle can make it up right? Besides, isn't it cold to sit there?" You said and let go of him after he was next to you. With only that statement, Zen smiled happily before he hugged you and gave a kiss on your temple.

You sighed before smiling at him "Such a child..."

"By the way, do you wanna see my photoshoot-"

"Shush!"

Yoosung

"Ohhh!!! Here it is!"

You nodded as the kotatsu package finally came and Yoosung quickly helped to carry it while you signed for the delivery guy. You two then proceed to the living room and started unpacking the package.

"I can't wait to cuddle with you in this ko... Ko... Ko what again?" Yoosung asked and you simply replied.

"Kotatsu. Now, let's just work together to build this"

He nodded excitedly and you two started working on it.

As the time goes, Yoosung felt slightly depressed at how incompetent he was as he was confused when he read the instructions. Thankfully, you managed to understand it quickly and told him what he could do to help. But that didn't make him happy at all because well, he looked pathetic.

"Finally we are done!" You shouted in excitement as you finished on building the kotatsu while Yoosung just sighed.

"What's wrong...?" You decided to ask and he looked away with a pout.

"Well yeah we are done but I feel so useless since I didn't do much. I caused troubles to you..."

"Then, you can make it up by giving me some rare items in LOLOL. How's that?" You grinned and Yoosung immediately turned to look at you before his eyes became teary.

"(Name)! Thank you! I have a lot so I can give some to you~" He hugged you and you just giggled before kissing his cheek.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's test it out while playing LOLOL~"

"Absolutely~!"

Jumin Han

"Whoa are you serious...?"

You looked at the kotatsu with a sweatdrop as you didn't expect it will be very big that probably ten people can fit there. It was like a table for a chinese restaurant. Not to mention there's a big sofa surrounded by it. It was really is like a table on a bed.

"You asked for kotatsu right? I hope I wasn't mistaken. I shouldn't be" Jumin said while carrying Elizabeth the 3rd on his arms.

".... But it's only two of us?"

"Three of us including Elizabeth the 3rd"

"Yeah but still... Isn't this too big?" You sweatdropped. However, Jumin didn't seem bothered by it as he just casually replied.

"Besides, it's not gonna be only three of us later anyway. I merely prepare for the future use as well"

After that, a deep blush appeared on your face, making Jumin smirked before grabbing your hand and proceeding to the kotatsu to cuddle.

Jaehee

"(Name), I brought the oranges" Jaehee said as she brought a plate of oranges and you smiled before she sat next to you.

"Yeyyy~!"

Jaehee smiled slightly and you snuggled next to her.

"So so~ Feed me the oranges~"

"Eh? You can peel it yourself right?" She blinked slightly and you gave a sigh before puffing your cheek.

"Well yeah but..."

Jaehee stared at you for a bit before fixing her glasses "So basically, you want to be spoiled"

"Yes!"

She giggled at your sparkled eyes and started peeling it before took a piece to feed to you.

"Hmm! So sour!" You tried to endure the taste and Jaehee giggled again.

"That's a funny expression you make there"

"Hey! It was so sour! You don't pick good oranges Jaehee, I'm blaming on you" You pouted and she just smiled slightly.

"Well I apologize for that. I hope this can compensate you"

She leaned and kissed your cheek, making you blushed before grinning rather stupidly and already in your own world.

"So, what do you wanna eat?" Jaehee asked and you quickly out from your trance before smirking.

"I don't mind eating oranges if it means I can get kisses from you~"

"Lucielllll, are you done?"

You asked for the nth time while sitting next to him. Luciel was still working and had been sitting comfortably under the kotatsu for 5 hours.

"Just give me a minute..."

"You said that a minute ago..." You rolled your eyes before deciding to lay down and turned around.

"Just wait for me, (Nameeee). The cuddle master will come to please you soon" Luciel said but you didn't reply and thus, it became an awkward silence.

"Ouch... Is (Name) angry at me?" Luciel thought and took a glance at you before sighing.

"I'll just get this done as fast as possible"

After two hours, Luciel was finally done and he quickly scooted over to you, only to see you were sleeping serenely.

"Ah that's why she was quiet the whole time" He chuckled before laying down next to you and hugged from behind. Just then, he felt a movement from you as you turned around facing him and seems like just woke up.

"Luciel... You're finally... Done?" You asked before yawning and he smiled.

"Yeap~! Sorry to wake you up and keep you waiting! I thought you were mad at me at first but turned out you're sleeping huh"

"Well I was but I ended up sleeping since the kotatsu feel so nice and warm" You said and he apologized again before hugging you closer.

"But now we can just cuddle all day~" Luciel said and you giggled before starting to pat his head.

"Yeap yeap~ Finally~"
