FebruarOC - Ghoti
Hello and shout outs to the 🦀🎮 crew this one is for you! Happy "Wednesday that Feels like a Thursday". So it's like honorary Thedas Thursday post tbh
Ghoti (pronounced "Fish") Lavellan is our Inquisitor for Thedas Thursday, continuing our tradition of silly names for our main characters. Our Warden was Kviiilynn Cousland (an extra 'n' for an extra special boy) with his dog Fonzie Scheme, and our Champion was Abcde Hawke with her dog Zzyzx.
Ghoti is our mage, specializing in Knight-Enchanter because who doesn't ALSO want a sword (aka I'm real bad about staying out of melee even when playing a mage). She's very extremely AGAINST being called the Herald of Andraste because hello she's an elf??? stop making her into something palatable for humans?
Cara and I have decided to make all our Lavellan inquisitors be cousins,  so her Lokir (tempest rogue) and my Kaspar (assassin rogue) are there too! In our hearts, of course, and whatever fic I end up writing. They traveled with Ghoti to the conclave as her back-up and now well, that sure didn't go well for her. I haven't started the Lavellan clan quest yet, but as it went tits up for Lokir and Kaspar, i'm going to have to keep the same outcome, y'know?
Ghoti has been very fun to play; she's a lot more aggressive than my first Inquisitor (and Kaspar, who was just sass incarnate). A lot of "get your head out of your ass we have shit to do". While there are a lot of choices I'm making that are similar to my other two playthroughs there's some things that I, as Mab, am unable to commit to. Like both full playthroughs have been siding with the mages and sparing the Gray Wardens (though in Kaspar's I did leave that random Warden you get in lieu of Alistair (when you make Alistair king) in the fade). I started a Playthrough on my PC previously of a female Trevelyan that I was playing as a paladin which meant doing Templar vibes and suffice to say I didn't get far. Siding with the Templars was, WILD.
We were originally going to romance Cullen which was my basic-bitch ass choice, because of who I am as a person. But when I was asking the chat for prompts to write for the drabble both Kaite and Dianne were like "UMMMM JOSEPHINE PLEASE?" and so I went "WELL YOU KNOW WE'RE NOT LOCKED INTO A ROMANCE YET, HOW ABOUT WE PIVOT" so we might try and see if we can romance Josephine. (So like, keep an eye out on OC x Canon week in March hehe)
This is the art that I commissioned from Jack, from left to right Ghoti, Lokir, and Kaspar!
You can find the drabble I wrote of her (and Josie hehe) for free over on patreon!

Amid the springtime season, your life was destined to change forever. To leave in a month but to stay an eternity. Something that you had never anticipated to happen when you had first arrived. Why you chose to remain persists to be a mystery. The door larch released after a month, yet standing before the grand oak door on the day of your supposed departure just felt off, felt wrong, felt almost as if you were going back to a word you did not truly belong in.
You never understood your own impulsive decision. Despite having befriended all the mansion’s residents and making a new home there, you felt lost, almost like a sense of searching, a longing type feeling, like you were still looking for a home—a place you belonged— a place where your heart would feel at peace.
With wistful eyes, you scanned the pages upon pages of poetry, looking for an answer, looking for comfort, but finding none. That is, until you first spotted him, striding past the bookstore window. Gaze catching sight of wisps of white hair dancing in the springtime breeze. Your heart latched forward, eyes following the figures until he was out of sight, yet the memory of him remained with you long after he had disappeared from view.
Eyes focusing back on the book of poems before you, you almost had to laugh at the poem emanating from the pages, it certainly had your hopeless romantic mind running away from you— giving hope for an answer soon to be solved. Regardless you smiled at the little poem leaving a flower bookmark in place to remember.
‘Well, from the moment I first saw you,
there was a spark of peace and mutual energy
that will forever rest inside my brain and in my thoughts.
It was so strong that I constantly think about it
and wonder if that is something
that could be permanent for me rather than a brief moment of interaction,
a brief exchange of hope and energy.
I couldn’t help myself but to be close to you,
someway- somehow.
I believe there are only a handful of people
that come across your path
that can make you feel more than simply human.
You, yes you, you make me feel alive, hopeful, and assured
that there is more out there.'
Weeks had gone by, and still, you had not come across the white-haired stranger again, the memory of him steadily fading from your mind as daily tasks occupied your time. The newest of the errands being to pick up a dozen fresh sunflowers to celebrate the resident angel’s birthday.
With a ring of the bell above the carved mahogany door you entered into the local flower shop—a quaint little shop in the middle of the busy Parisian streets. The storefront perfectly decorated with scatters of seasonal summer flowers, enticing any person passing by to visit the floral boutique. And the inside of the store was every bit as welcoming, with flowers littered on every corner of the store, drawing your eyes about.
“Welcome, can I help you with anything,” the quiet voice came blooming from the front of the shop, drawing your attention away from the delicate blue flowers and deeper into the workshop.
A tiny gasp left your lips when you finally realized that the source of the gentle voice was from the very man who had been plaguing your mind for weeks now.
You took a few clumsy steps towards the front counter, heart hammering in your chest. You felt silly for having a crush on a man you had never even uttered as much as two words to, yet here you were— Legs heavy as led, pulse racing, and sweat dripping down your back.
Your mind swam with a million thoughts, yet your mouth refused to speak. The delicate man raised a brow at you, head tilting curiously to the side as you slowly made your way closer. You trained your gaze down, fingertips nervously playing with the seams of your sleeves as you finally mustered up the courage to stutter out your request, “I-I uh, am here to pick up an o-order.”
Your eyes finally drifted up to catch sight of the slither of a smile ghosting across his lips, and you swore your heart melted then and there. Vlad’s eyes twinkled in amusement as he watched your face flush, ‘cute,’ he thought as he leaned down to grab hold of the order book.
“Ah, let me just find it for you.” He carefully placed the book down on the table before his gaze returned to yours, “your name?” he asked politely.
“Van Gogh,” you practically yelled out, eyes widening— appalled at yourself for the sudden outburst. You gripped your sleeves, knuckles white, wishing the ground would spare you the embarrassment and just swallow you whole.
“I-i mean, the order is under van Gogh, my name isn’t van Gogh” you awkwardly corrected, wanting nothing more than to bang your head against the table in mortification— but then it reached your ears—the sound of his soft melodious laughter slicing through the tension.
His laughter was light and airy, like the gentle summer breeze ringing like the garden chimes. It sparked the memory of a poem you had come across, bringing a whole new meaning into your life.
“Calm the winds as angels sing.
Lovers’ tune and flowers bring
little buds caressed by dew
sending pretty thoughts of you.”
“Sunflowers,” he stated between huffs of delicate laughter, closing the book and making his way to the backroom to retrieve your order.
The moment he was out of sight, your hands shot up to cover your warming cheeks; you felt like a schoolgirl being confronted by her crush. Keep it together, you hissed to yourself, eyes squeezing tightly together as you tried your best to focus your mind on the business at hand.
The sound of his tender voice broke the silence once more as he returned carrying a dozen bright yellow sunflowers in his arms, “adoration, loyalty and longevity.”
“What?” you questioned, eyes bright with curiously as fingers fidgeted with the strands of hair framing your face— in an attempt to calm your restless heart.
“The meaning of the flowers, adoration, loyalty and longevity,” he repeated happily, placing the flowers down on the counter. There was a beat of silence before you came back to your senses, realizing that you needed to pay the man. The soft smile never once left Vlad’s face as he watched you nervously scrabble around for the coins to pay for the order.
Finally, you found the pouch of money Sabastian had given you to pay for the flowers, and thrust it out towards the man, eyes meeting his crimson reds. They were beyond stunning, shining in childlike mischief yet holding an archaic air.
Warm hands gently wrapped their way around your delicate little ones, “It’s on the house,” he spoke, this time a spring-like smile dancing across his features.
Your breath caught in your throat as you struggled for words, “b-but I insist, I can’t just take these for nothing.” Again you pushed your hands forward, leaning closer to emphasize your intent.
“Then,” he paused, contemplating his following words carefully. It had been long since Vlad had opened his heart to another. Yes, he loved the human race, but he had never truly allowed himself to fall in love. However, there was something about you, in the way you talked, the way your every thought fluttered across your gorgeous features that captivated him, that drew him in, like a moth to a flame. “Then how’s about you spend the afternoon with me strolling the botanical garden, and we will call it even?"
The rest of the interaction was like a happy blur. You didn’t even remember how you had gotten home or even what you had done in the time that had passed; all you knew was that you were now excitedly strolling down the cobbles stone path amid the vibrant flowers in the large botanical gardens.
It had been weeks since your first interaction with the man and every day since, you had visited his flower shop, idly chatting away about anything and everything that popped into your mind. After the first date together, you knew you had fallen, hard.
“What are you thinking about?” his gentle smile played across his features, ruby eyes gazing down lovingly at you. You returned his smile with one of your own, giving his hand an affectionate squeeze as you made your way through the gardens to your favourite spot.
“It’s a secret”, came the words, eye twinkling with mischief.
“Oh? You won’t tell me?” The corners of his lips lifted to form an impish smile.
“Nope!”
“Well, then I have no other choice!” His eyes shone with affection as he gently lifted your hand and started to twirl you around.
Your laughter filled the serene area causing a few raised brows from all who passed by. Not that you had a care in the world, especially being beside the love of your life.
Just then, he stopped, pulling you closer to fall against his chest, only, he had lost his footing and went tumbling backwards with you to fall straight on top of him with an ‘oooof’.
With widened eyes, you gazed down at him, an apology on your tongue, stopped only by the boyish chuckle that escaped him.
His hand came up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear, and fingers tenderly brushed over your cheeks. Time stood still between the two of you, each gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes before you broke the silence, “a secret for a secret,” you blurted out.
Immediately following it up with a confession of your own to prompt the man to spill the beans. “I love you with all my heart,” the secret left your lips as you beamed down at the man, dusting of pink blooming across your face.
“And I, you,” Vlad returned in a soft hum.
He reached over and plucked a delicate blue flower from the nearby bush. He twirled it between his fingertips for a few moments before securing it between the strands of your soft hair.
“Forget me not,” he said, his face softened with pure love for you.
Your silly grin continued to widen, and with a brush of your nose against his, the response left your lips, “not even for a moment.”
Your eyes soon fluttered closed as the affected words were whispered against his lips before they were sealed in a feather-light promising kiss.

Tumblr media
“Alright, I can do this.” You mutter to yourself as you pace around the living room. Mingyu watches you from his couch with a bored expression on his face, but for good reason.
you’ve been pacing around his living room saying you’re going to do it for the past twenty five minutes.
“I can do this.” You mumble again, reaching your hand up to begin nibbling on your nail. Mingyu takes that as a sign to stop you, as he stands up off the couch and takes your hand, effectively preventing you from ruining your manicure.
“Yn, as your best friend, it’s my job to be honest with you.” You nod your head at Mingyu’s words, and he gives you a grin, before plastering on a straight face. “You have been walking back and forth across this living room muttering that you’re going to do it for the past twenty five minutes.”
You stare at him, and you close your eyes, placing your head in your hands. Mingyu pats your shoulder as you curse yourself for being a WUSS.
“I’m just so… nervous. I’ve never confessed to anyone before! What if he doesn’t like me back? What if he thinks I’m ugly?!” Mingyu smiles, shaking his head.
“This is Seungkwan we’re talking about. The guy who was too afraid to talk to you when I first introduced you to the group because he thought you were pretty.” You bite the inside of your cheek, before letting out a sound of defeat. Mingyu watches as you stare at the floor, still feeling unconfident, to which he sighs. He walks off into the kitchen, and you hear the sound of him going through his fridge, before coming back with a few bottles of soju.
“I think you need some liquid courage.” Mingyu tells you, and you grin.
“Fuck yeah.”
Tumblr media
“He’s just so precious, y-you know?” You cry to Mingyu, turning your head to see him fast asleep on the floor, empty soju bottle beside him. You let out another wail, thinking of the time Seungkwan smiled at you when you showed him a weed that you originally thought was a flower.
“You know a way to figure out that Spring is coming?” Seungkwan shakes his head at you, grinning as you skip a few paces in front of him. The two of you are walking through campus during the one hour block you guys don’t have classes, it’s like a routine for the both of you.
“When you see the pretty flowers sprouting from the grass! See,” You reach down and pluck the flower, turning around and holding it out to him. “It’s a pretty daisy.”
Seungkwan immediately lets out a smile at your silly mistake, reaching out and patting your head fondly. Your eyes widen slightly at the contact, heat rushing to your face, causing you to turn away so that he can’t catch sight of it.
“They are pretty. Unfortunately, it’s a weed.” You purse your lips, staring at the weed that you once thought was a flower.
“Damn…”
“That is a way to figure out that spring is coming though, we just have to remember that they’re weeds.” You nod your head, about to throw the weed back onto the grass when Seungkwan stops you. “Wait!”
“Can I keep that? I wanna make it into a bookmark or something.” You let out a smile and hand it to him, to which he carefully places it into his wallet.
“Why do you wanna keep it though? It’s just a weed.”
“Yeah, but it’s a weed that you plucked. It’s a good memory for this day.”
“I’m gonna,” You burp, before picking your phone up from the table and going to Seungkwan’s contact. “I’m gonna do it.”
And with that, you press call, placing the phone close to your ear. You watch as your vision gets a bit blurry, letting out a yawn right when Seungkwan answers.
“Hello? Yn?”
“Kwannie~” You say in a singsong voice, catching him off guard. Seungkwan pulls his phone away from his ear to look at it with a frown, knowing that this is nothing like you. He places it back by his ear, smiling at the sound of you mumbling to yourself.
“Are you drunk yn?”
“Just a bit.” You mutter, turning your head to look at your sleeping friend. You reach your hand up, lowering it back down and slapping Mingyu’s leg, just for him to not budge at all. “G-Gyusie fell asleep, and he’s the one who told me to drink for some liquid courage. Yet he fell asleep before I called you.”
Seungkwan tilts his head to the side, sitting up in his bed, “Why did you need to get drunk to call me?”
Your palms begin to sweat, and you take that as a sign to grab your soju and gulp the rest of it down. Seunkgwan raises an eyebrow at the sound of you drinking more, “Yn, are you okay-”
“I love you!” You shout, and Mingyu stirs at the loudness of your voice. He kicks you softly with his foot, before falling back asleep. Seungkwan stares at his wall in shock, wondering whether he heard you wrong.
“What?”
“I,” You let out a burp, and Seungkwan giggles at the sound. “I love the way your eyes light up when you smile, or when everyone laughs at a silly joke you make. I-I try to laugh at every single joke you make just to see happiness radiate off your features.”
Seungkwan feels his heart pound against his chest as he hears your honest confession, smile making its way onto his face as you continue. “I love how caring you are. I r-remember the time you ran to my workplace just to give me lunch because I left mine at home and I had a twelve hour shift.”
“Couldn’t let my favorite person be hungry during work.” Seungkwan says, pure fondness in his voice.
“And,” You become choked up, and Seungkwan’s smile turns into a frown as he hears you begin to sniffle. “And I love you so much for that.”
“Are you… crying?”
“Just a little. It’s cause I remembered how much I love you.” You mumble, rubbing your tears away with the back of your hand.
“It’s okay yn, I love you too.” Seungkwan laughs when he hears you gasp on the other end, imagining the expression you must be making right now. “Really?”
“Yes, I’ve loved you from the moment you pulled a weed from the ground and told me it was a flower.”
“Oh my god, you remember?”
“Of course I do!”
“Damn, then you really do love me.” Seungkwan laughs, placing his hand over his chest to try and calm down his rapid heartbeat. He’s still trying to comprehend that his feelings for you are mutual, while you giggle to yourself, happy about how tonight turned out.
“But let’s talk about it in person tomorrow, mm? It’s 2 am.” You nod your head, smiling softly.
hehe i stayed up late talking to my crush <333
“Y-you better not forget about this conversation.” You say, frowning as if he can see your expression. Seungkwan chuckles, “I could never. Make sure you don’t forget about it either. Alright?”
“Of course!”
Seungkwan smiles, “I’ll come pick you up from Mingyu’s in the afternoon, okay? For now go to his guest bedroom and sleep on the bed.” You stand up off the floor, wobbling a bit. “Hehe… whoa~”
“Be careful, yn.”
“Am safety master.” You respond, stumbling over to the guest bedroom. You flop onto the bed, rolling onto your side and pulling the comforter over your body. “Are you ready to sleep?”
“Yes, let’s sleep Kwannie.” Seungkwan smiles at the nickname, hugging his pillow close to his chest.
“Goodnight yn, I love you.” He says softly, blush forming on his cheeks, suddenly feeling shy. That feeling soon goes away when he hears you let out a small squeal.
“Nighty night Seungkwan, I love you~” You place your phone beside you without hanging up, closing your eyes.
Seungkwan waits for you to end the call, but after a minute of silence goes by he pulls his phone away from his ear. He raises an eyebrow at his screen, seeing that you haven’t hung up. “Yn, you didn’t hang up?” Seungkwan waits a moment for you to respond, only to smile when he realizes you’ve fallen asleep. He plugs his phone into his charger, making sure not to end the call, before resting it on his bedside table. He closes his eyes, drowsiness overcoming his excitement of your guys’ confession.
i guess we have soju to thank for this.

Why Do You Think This Would Work? Ch1 [ Taichihaya ]
They should have known that fake dating never goes according to plan.
In which Mashima Taichi doesn't want to be bothered by his mother's prospects anymore and Ayase Chihaya hates her sister's attempts of finding her a boyfriend.
--------------
Today was an especially stressful day for Mashima Taichi. He was supposed to clock in early from the hospital but as soon as his shift was about to end one of his patients went into cardiac arrest.
‘Ah I can never get used to emergencies like that’ he thought as he laid on his couch.
Just as he was getting comfortable, his cellphone rang which surprised him. He sat back up and picked up the phone from the coffee table next to him.
“Hello?”
“Ah Taichi, didn’t you read my texts?”
He sighed as he heard his mother, Mashima Reiko, on the other end. As tempted as he is to end the call right then and there, he wouldn’t dare get an angry visit from her instead.
“No, I had to attend to an emergency at the hospital a while ago” he explained “I just got home, what is it?”
“Well there’s a charity gala Mr. Ichido is hosting tomorrow night, maybe you could attend with your father and, you know, mingle with the people there at least”
“Why should I? I don’t have any interest in dad’s company, why aren’t you asking Rika?” he inquired, even though he has an idea of what Reiko is hinting at.
“She’s coming, that’s already a given” there was a small pause before she continued “Mr. Ichido’s daughter is coming to the gala, the one who just came back from the states, maybe you can tour her around Tokyo before she goes back after a week”
‘I knew it’ he said to himself. Ever since he graduated from Todai and immediately got a job as a doctor at the University’s same hospital, Reiko thought she wouldn’t need to worry about her son anymore.
To what she thought that her son would settle down with a woman as successful as he is, she slowly grew worried each day her son doesn’t call her to tell her about a doctor or businesswoman he’s going to marry someday. So for a year now, she’s been trying to connect him with the women in the families they’re connected with so it can ease her anxiety at least.
But Mashima Taichi has been a stubborn bastard ever since he was born.
“Not interested,” he answered coldly and Reiko just had enough of him rejecting every prospect she’s practically thrown at him.
"And why not? Again! might I add"
'This is getting really old' he rubbed his temples trying to calm himself down thinking of another half-assed excuse of not being ready. She was not yet finished talking though.
"And here I thought I can leave you alone to your devices after you've made it as a successful doctor, I can't believe you're making me worry over something you're supposed to have done a long time ago. Up until now I feel as if you’re waiting for me to push you into things that are good for you"
Now Taichi had enough, it's one thing for her to be critical of him being the best but for her to basically call him a dependent idiot is another thing.
"Well haven't you considered that maybe I am dating someone already without your approval?!"
She was taken aback and a million thoughts ran through her head, 'When? How? Who is it? Has she met her before?' But before she could get a word in he ended the call.
"If that's all, good night mom"
After that exchange he went back to lying down on his couch when his phone rang again.
"What?!"
"Ah!" The voice on the other end was startled by his loud reply.
Chihaya nearly dropped her phone when Taichi answered it a little too loudly for her delicate ears.
“Is everything ok, Taichi? What happened?”
“Oh Chihaya, sorry about that” he sighed as he relaxed at her voice on the other end, expecting it to be from his mother.
“It’s fine but could you let me in? I’ve been knocking for the last few minutes and you weren’t answering. I even brought you Daddy Bear Ramen and Snowmaru Ice cream on the way here” she whined as she banged her fist on his apartment door one last time.
Taichi opened the door as he pocketed his phone, “Geez you really are still a kid sometimes, you know that?”
Ignoring his comment, Chihaya walked inside the apartment like she owns the place. Ever since she’s gotten the job as a teacher at Mizusawa High last year, right after getting the Queen title, she’s been in and out of his place because, (a) it's the closest place she can stay at after late nights training at the society and (b) Taichi can drive her to school the next day.
He locked the door behind him as he went to the kitchen where Chihaya most definitely headed to.
Sure enough she’s already filled the instant ramen with hot water and is putting the ice cream in his mini fridge.
“So what crazy limited edition food did you manage to grab this time?” he asked while opening his share of the ramen, looking at the silly Daddy Bear artwork plastered on it.
“If you must know, I found these two at the very back of the shelf at the nearby konbini” she gestured to the two cups of ramen on the table “Can you believe how lucky I was!”
At that instant, Taichi checked the label on the cup to make sure it wasn’t expired. “Thank god you actually checked the labels this time before buying”
“Hey! That was one time ok” she retorted.
“Yeah sure it is” he teased as he took in a mouthful of noodles.
“Keep talking like that and I won’t let you near my Snowmaru Vanilla Ice Cream!” she pointed with her chopsticks.
“Which you stored in MY freezer?”
Chihaya groaned and grumpily ate her ramen.
The rest of their dinner went by as usual, Chihaya telling him how the karuta club they started has been doing so far under her care, her school day activities, and how her training at the Shiranami Society went that night.
Taichi almost forgot about his altercation with his mother that early evening until Chihaya brought up a topic that he’s not particularly fond of but listens to anyway.
“I can’t believe she tricked me into another blind date! I was excited to see her new commercial at the mall when she actually invited me into a double date” she said, a little bit frustrated and exhausted.
Ever since she became Queen last year, she’s been the center of attention of some men in the karuta community and even those outside of it. Her sister, Chitose, then saw an opportunity to play matchmaker with her sister so she can see her have a relationship outside of karuta.
And Mashima Taichi was both scared and relieved. Scared to see Chihaya having a relationship with another person and relieved to see her mature enough to finally fully understand what romantic gestures and relationships are.
It is no secret that Taichi always bore feelings for Chihaya, everyone at Shiranami knows, all their friends from their karuta club knows, Wataya Arata knows, his sister knows, except Chihaya.
“At this point, I might just fake date with the next person she throws at me to get it over with” she half-joked while taking another scoop of her ice cream. “Then everybody is happy, right?”
He inwardly panicked, even a fake relationship is risky, especially for someone like her. They might take advantage of her and they don’t know her like he does. It's not like they can keep up with her antics and airheadedness.
Without even thinking he blurted out, “Just pretend you’re dating me then”
Chihaya stopped midway with her scoop of ice cream, and looked like she’s processing what Taichi just said.
She was silent for a while and he realized what he just said, and just as he was about to brush it off as a joke she slammed her hands on the table a little too hard it shook and spilled the melted contents of her small bowl.
“Taichi! You are a genius!”

i was tagged by @bottomlinsons, so let’s do this! i’m excited!
✨ get to know my wip challenge ✨
what’s ur fave thing about writing ur current wip?
it is ridiculous. i’m doing an entire series of individual fics with various pairings based off the same insane prompt for wordplay, and the current one is just so silly. all of them will be, but i just love it. it makes me happy. lol
have you got a name yet / what’s your process for finding one
no. i do working titles basically always. this one is “honey fic 1″ hahaha my process for finding one usually goes something like this: load fic into ao3. whine about tags and how i hate tagging. whine about the summary and how i hate summaries. write up the author’s note and the end notes. almost go to hit publish before realizing it still isn’t titled. whine about how much i hate finding titles. go look up some song lyrics from songs i’m obsessed with currently or something i listened to while writing the fic. find a line that works well enough and make sure there’s not another one direction fic with that title in ao3. put it on there and hit publish before i can regret said decision.
i really am a mess. i hate titles.
is there a scene you’re stuck on?
no, i’m mostly moving slow because i just don’t have time and energy to write right now.
is there a scene you can’t wait to write
i already wrote it actually but i am excited about the next scene i’ll be writing, because poor disaster gay louis has to come to terms with the idiocy that was what he did last night. lollll
what’s ur process when you get stuck? are you rational or do you flip ur metaphorical writing desk and storm out?
sometimes it’s a matter of just needing a break. with my last fic i published, i thought i was just tired and needing a break, because usually i just need to get rejuvenated and then i’m ready to go again, but that wasn’t it at all. i just needed to push myself and make myself write. so when i get stuck, i’ll take a break and if that doesn’t help, i’ll tell myself i have to write for 30 min and if i still feel stuck then we’ll reassess. sometimes 30 min is all i need to get past the hard part and then i’m in my vibe again. sometimes i’m stuck cause i need to redo it. generally if i’ve taken a break AND tried the writing sprint and neither worked, then i’ll go back to where it felt good, i’ll delete what i had after that, and i’ll try to figure out something else that might work instead and give it a try. that’s usually the magic right there. at least for me.
so, long story short, i feel like i’m a bit more rational than flipping my desk and storming out. hahahaha
that was fun! thanks, sam! i now tag @londonfoginacup, @got-stars, @bringmetheharry, @sadaveniren, @homosociallyyours, @justalittlelouislove, @disgruntledkittenface, and @so-why-let-your-voice-be-tamed! if you’ve already done this sorry. hehe

If I got rid of my demons, I’d lose my angels (Lisa Oneshot)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Lisa (Blackpink) x Reader
Genre: Humor (I tried), fluff (PG-13)
Prompt: Your best friend dared you to try black magic, but you got the symbols all wrong, and now your best friend is trapped in a devil’s trap, and you’re pissed because they should’ve told you they were a demon. “Just get rid of this fucking symbol and get me out of here!”
Word Count: 1,217
Warning: Swearing
A/N: Thank you for asking this one @sapphirebluemt, I really wanted to write it hehe I hope you like it <3
---
“What the fuck?!”
You were so distracted rereading the spell for the thousandth time and checking the other ingredients you didn’t even notice when Lisa entered the room.
As you turned, you saw she was inside the symbol that you had drawn on the floor with the chalk. She had her hand raised, as if she were touching an invisible wall, which coincidentally seemed to be where the edge of the symbol you drew was.
“Very funny,” you mumbled loudly enough for her to hear and turned to finish rereading the spell.
It was already stupid enough that you were doing that when you didn’t believe in magic at all, let alone black magic, which was exactly what Lisa had challenged you to do. It had been a silly conversation in the middle of a Halloween party that had led to a challenge and a bet. Since you refused to lose, you searched for a black magic spell on the internet, not even caring to read carefully what you had found.
So you were getting into the role of doing what your best friend doubted you would do. Now you did not have to accept that she teased you over it.
“Y/N, what the fuck is this?” You heard Lisa ask, and ignored the fact that she seemed genuinely surprised at what you had done. She was a good actress after all.
“Black magic,” you replied, grinding the remaining ingredients in a pestle that you had to borrow from your history teacher (you didn’t even want to know why he had it). “Isn’t it what you challenged me to do?”
Then you heard a loud thud coming from the stupid symbol and turned quickly, ready to fight with Lisa if she had spoiled what you had been doing for hours. But what you saw was your best friend getting up from what looked like an ugly fall.
“What are you doing?” You asked, approaching her to help, but as soon as you reached the edge of the symbol, you felt as if you were facing a wall. “What the… What did you do?“ You screamed, putting your hands in fists on your waist and watching your friend approach you cautiously.
"What did I do?” She asked, pointing a finger at you. “What did you do? I told you to try black magic, not a devil’s trap!“
"What?” Her exasperation and what she had just said made you confused, making you lower your hands. “What difference does that make?” These symbols are all the same and none of this is real.”
“Ugh…” Lisa grunted and began to walk in circles inside the symbol. “How can you be so stupid? Of course it’s not the same thing!”
“So what?!” You asked, getting irritated again by her tone. After all, why was she so angry at you? It wasn’t like you were an expert on those weird things.
“So now I can’t get out of here!” She spoke, once again stopping in front of you, and for the first time since you had seen her inside that symbol, you noticed that her eyes were red instead of brown and that she had two small horns on her head.
Understanding nothing, you stared at your friend’s horns, thinking that you had seen something like that on those fanatical people who liked to imagine themselves as devil worshipers. Then, you looked at the symbol that you had drawn on the floor. Had you really made a devil’s trap?
“Hey, where are you going?”
You ignored Lisa’s question as you walked back to your computer to search once more for what you thought was a spell. This time, you read everything that was written on the site, paying attention even to the fine print that spoke only about the names of some “known” demons.
Sighing, you leaned back in the chair and stared at the ingredients inside the pestle. That crap of “black magic” you had found was a trap to capture and kill a demon.
Still not caring about your friend who kept calling you and asking what you were doing, you threw all the ingredients in the trash and looked back at the site, looking for a way to undo what you had done. It wasn’t long before you found it.
“Hey, can you tell me what you’re doing?” Lisa asked again as you separated the ingredients you would need to break the trap. Luckily, the ingredients were very similar to the first ones, just changing a little thing or another that you also had at hand.
“I’m trying to undo this madness,” you replied, once again grinding the ingredients in the pestle that you still didn’t know how your teacher had gotten.
“If you were a little less crazy, that wouldn’t have happened,” Lisa said, and you ignored the fact that it was another way for her to complain that you were always so nice.
“If you had said you were a demon, that wouldn’t have happened,” you replied, trying to make it clear in your voice that it was her secret that had ruined everything.
“Of course, as if this was a great way to make friends,” Lisa grumbled. “Hi, my name is Lisa and I’m a demon. Wanna be my friend? I swear I won’t devour you.”
You had to hide the laughter after listening to her doing a fake imitation of her own voice. Biting your lips to keep you from laughing, you walked over to her with the ingredients.
“You could’ve said it later,” you pointed out, standing in front of her but not letting her out of the trap. “When we had already become best friends.”
“And you couldn’t live without me?” She asked, still making fun of the situation. But when you grimaced, she sighed. “Fine, sorry. I should’ve told you what I am. Happy now?”
You shrugged, but stood still. It was funny to see Lisa trapped. It was always her that would get away from all the trouble she’d gotten you into, and now you were her only chance to get out of the last madness she’d practically made you do. Even if you were apprehensive about the things she proposed, you would enjoy being with her, having fun for a change. She was like an amusement park in the dark days, always making you smile.
Lisa was expecting, rocking on her feet as she alternated the look between your eyes and the pestle in your hand. When you couldn’t hide your laughter, she put her hands on her waist, incredulous. It just made you laugh even more.
She stood watching you. Usually it was only when she put you in some trouble that you laughed like that. It looked like she’d done it once more. Her old “friends” might say she looked more like an angel than a demon now, after doing everything to make you happy. But since she had discovered that it was because of you that she had not yet been vaporized, she didn’t mind losing her very essence to help you. At least your follies together kept her whole.
Laughing and loving the fact that she made you have fun again, Lisa grunted, “Just get rid of this fucking symbol and get me out of here.”

5, ChikaYou (?)
Stop making me jealous
Summary: Chika can’t help it, okay? She’s jealous of everything and anything that steals her girlfriend’s attention. This time it happens to be her family.
Pairing: Chika x You
Genre: Romance, Fluff
Words: 1250
Author Notes
Heyllos, Woobeh~ (your name intrigues me and make me grin XD) and well! I absolutely LOVE that you requested a ChikaYou from me~ ^w^ And it’s for this prompt too! XD hehe~
I love me jealous Chika/You ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡
May you enjoy~ XD
Chika frowns. The half-peeled and half-eaten mikan left on the table ignored by the mikan-loving girl. Her ruby eyes trained on the back of her girlfriend who was smiling and nodding to her older sister, Mito.
You-chan is being used by Mito-nee again…
Chika frowns deeper when Mito points to where the big, heavy looking boxes should go and the ash-brunette lifting them gleefully, leaving Chika’s sight to help out the inn instead of spending time with her.
Aren’t you here to hang out? Not work!? Mou…
On another house date, You was passing by the reception counter where Shima was on her shift to follow Chika upstairs when the laidback, older Takami beckoned the ash-brunette over with a wave of the hand.
“What’s up, Shima-nee?” You greets with a jolly smile and her question was answered in the next second as Shima gives You a gentle headpat. “Shima-nee?”
“A reward for your efforts at school today.” Shima smiles, looks over to her younger sister to ask her if she’d like a headpat too but stops when she sees an interesting expression on the orangehead.
Chika was pouting hard. She turned around the same time You was called over and she wished she was closer to pull her girlfriend away from her older sister’s reach if she knew Shima-nee was going to give out headpats. Chika’s cheeks were puffed out indignantly as she wasn’t sure what to do, other than stand there feeling this weird, squeeze in her chest. Something that has been occurring quite often lately.
… You-chan…Stop standing there like you like those pats. I-I can give you better headpats any day!
“Chika-chan, do you want a-”
Chika doesn’t let the ash-brunette finish as she harrumphs back to her room. You hurries to catch up with her seemingly upset girlfriend.
You comes over to play on a weekend but since the orangehead was giving a hand with her family business, You heads to Chika’s room first. Shiitake just happens to be outside the door so You happily approaches the big o’ friendly dog.
“Ohayousoro, Shiitake~ How you doing?” You giggles as Shiitake returns an energy-filled bark.
“Aren’t you a good girl~” You gives Shiitake a deluxe “massage” as she rubs Shiitake’s head, back of the ears, and under the chin.
Chika skips up the stairs and across the corridor when she sees her favourite head of ash-brunette but stills when she sees how close her girlfriend is with Shiitake. It’s supposed to be normal yet…
…You-chan is playing with Shiitake again… At least notice when I’m right behind you, right?
The orangehead kicks wooden flooring to get You’s attention, which worked like a charm as the swimmer turned around, smile widening at the sight of Chika.
Shiitake barks her hello to the orangehead before proceeding to lick You’s face, eliciting a chuckle from the ash-brunette. “Ahaha, Shiitake! Alright, alright, I’ll give you more ruffles later~” You says as she turns back to Shiitake and tickled the large furry dog’s body.
Chika juts her lower lip out and grumbles. “Again Shiitake… Give your attention instead, mou…”
You blinks twice upon hearing that; not expecting to hear Chika whine. She steals a peek over her shoulder to see her girlfriend pouting before she faced front once more and whispering.
“Wait a minute… Is Chika-chan..?”
Shiitake barks knowingly once.
“Are you jealous?” You voices her train of thought, louder now.
Chika falls onto her butt at being called out by the girl’s she’s getting jealous for. “Wha-What are you saying, You-chan! I-I- Of course, I won’t be…jealous…uu…”
How did You-chan find out??
Chika averts meeting You’s straightforward ocean blue eyes and hugs her knees after some time of You just patiently staring at her. “So what if I am…” Chika speaks through duck-billed lips.
So what if I am! It’s all You-chan’s f-
You smiles widely at Chika’s honesty and admitting to being jealous for her. She pats Shiitake energetically and gives the Saint Bernard a quick peck on the cheek for cluing her in to her girlfriend’s adorable jealousy.
Chika, on the other hand, was extra jealous at that. “Eh!? Y-You-chan!? Why did you k-kiss Shiitake?”
Are you doing this on purpose now! Baka You-chan!
“Hm?” You tilts her head to the side, not knowing why her girlfriend was making such a conflicted expression; don’t they always show affection to their most favourite dog in the world. “Cos Shiitake has been a good girl?”
“Well, I have been too!” Chika shouts, jumps to her feet and closes her room door behind her.
You chuckles and turns to Shiitake. “Chika-chan is so cute when she’s jealous.”
Shiitake doesn’t respond with a bark and just sits there, You could tell the Saint Bernard agreed from the twinkle in her somewhat hidden eyes.
You enters the room slowly, with a smile she can’t remove after realizing Chika is actually jealous for her, even though she didn’t see a reason for it. She sits on the floor before looking to her girlfriend again. “Hey, Chika-chan…”
“What do you want.” Chika pouts at You from her bed, hugging her lobster plushie tightly and then looking away pointedly.
If I took my phone out to take a picture of a jealous Chika-chan, she’d probably get angrier…
“I’m looking at you.”
“Eh?” Even if Chika wanted to give You the cold shoulder for at least an hour, it was impossible when You says something so random and…is something she’s been wanting…
Ah, finally got you looking at me.
You smiles, small but genuine as she gazes at Chika. “I always take note of your voice when you’re close and if I could, I’d spend all day just staring at you…“ You scratches her cheeks shyly; wondering why she had to go and say such mushy things to Chika. When the orangehead kept looking up at her with those large, bright red and moist with awe eyes, You covers her face with one hand and puts up another to wave away as much embarrassment as possible. "F-Forget I said that..!”
Gosh, why do I always do this to myself?
Chika drops the plushie to the side and crawls quickly across the floor to straddle You’s knees, shaking her head multiple times. “Never.”
C-Chika-chan??
You was blushing hard at the sudden attack. Chika wraps her arms around You to hug her girlfriend and rubs her face on You’s thighs, the crown of her head brushing You’s stomach too. “I’ll never forget it…You really love me, huh?” Chika grins happy-silly, lovestruck-mikan kinda giddy giggle where laid on You’s lap and grinned up at her.
You covers Chika’s face with a hand, her face completely painted red. “As if you don’t know…”
That I love you to the moon and back a gazillion times…Baka Chika-chan…
OMAKE
“You know, you’re really cute when jealous, Chika-chan.” You states her mind nonchalantly.
Chika’s jolly expression drooped slightly, a pout growing. “No, I’m not.”
You chuckles at Chika denying for denying sake. “You really are. Like how you would glare at the person or thing that you’re jealous at-”
“Forget about that already. Mou!!” Chika throws a few cat punches at You’s arm.
The fit as a fiddle ash-brunette chuckles; unaffected by the punches; in fact, she loves the display of affection. “Never.”
“Uu…I hate you Watanabe Charming You…” Chika grumbles and turns away, her cheeks turning pink and warm.
You smiles as she gives her girlfriend a comforting headpat from behind. “Love you too~”
Author Notes
“Baka You-chan..!!” is definitely what Chika is screaming in her mind after that. XD hehe~

Insecurities
Paring: Tentoo/Rose Tyler Rating: G Word count: 1700 Tags: Fluff
Read on AO3
From a nonny prompt found on @doctorroseprompts: Tentoo and Rose arrived in Pete’s World just a few days ago and are still adapting. While he’s working on their new TARDIS, he starts talking about some insecurities and distracted, didn’t realize that Rose arrived home. So of course she assures him that everything will be alright. I started writing this more than a week ago but I’ve just finished it - and I’m not happy with it, seriously, just go read the fill by @skyler10fic, so much better than this, hehe! :-)
Still, here goes, who knows, maybe you’ll like it!
He sighed into the palm that was cradling the bottom of his face, staring at the little piece of coral pulsing softly with a dull orange glow. He knew nothing was wrong with the installation he had carefully put into place, from the dozens of cables attached to the coral sending light sparks of electricity to help with its growth, to the nest of minerals he had gathered together so it could feed on low-energy nutrients. He still tugged on a cable to make sure it was properly hooked, pushed a chunk of cobalt with his fingertips, moved a nugget of zircon closer. It would take time before that tiny bit of Tardis flesh would grow big enough to develop a potent enough conscience to take them on trips around the universe, years, probably a whole decade, even. But impatience was already brewing in the pit of his stomach.
He stole a glance at the clock he had hung onto a wall of the basement where his makeshift lab had been set up - Rose had refused to let him perform his experiments anywhere near remotely inflammable things, which basically crossed off every room in their small house, thus the basement. His sense of time was still perfectly intact, and he didn’t need a clock. He liked it, because of the sound it made as the seconds slowly ticked away. A harmless reminder that time had never mattered more now that he was growing older, day after day. Only three days since he’d arrived in this universe, three days since he had grown out of that hand, three days since he’d understood what the human part of this body implied. He could feel himself age, the cells dying to be replaced by brand new ones, every time with a little less life inside them. He noticed things thanks to the Time Lord abilities he hadn’t lost. A weakness in a joint, a hair single hair slowly losing its colours, a small wrinkle more in the corner of an eye. Rose couldn’t see those changes happen, and that was good. He didn’t to add that to the pile of growing worries his thoughts were building on.
The fact that she wasn’t home yet, among many others. It was well into the sixth hour of the afternoon, and she should have been back approximately thirty minutes back if the traffic was alright, twelve minutes back if the traffic was bad - he had checked and double-checked the route she took and came up with exactly seventeen calculations that gave him the precise range of time it took her to go from work to their house depending on a variety of circumstances. And she was late.
“Why is she avoiding me?” he murmured into the silence of the basement, brushing a thumb on the coral. “Do you think we went too fast?”
He almost expected the little Tardis embryo to answer, but it only glowed brighter for a fraction of a second. Still, the sulky temperament that had sprouted in his new-found human side had no trouble interpreting it as a confirmation.
“It was a bad idea to move in together,” he sighed, letting his elbow slide over the desk so he ended up half sprawled over it. “We should have… I don’t know, dated? Like humans do, you know. So she can get to know me. Well, I’m basically the same, of course, but maybe she doesn't realize that. I mean… She doesn’t love me, you see. She doesn't say it, she doesn't show it. This morning she didn’t even kiss me goodbye.”
One of the wires sparked, a tiny electric arc reaching his finger so fast he jerked his hand away with a curse of pain.
“I know, alright?” he seethed at the coral, sucking the burnt flesh into his mouth. “I’ve been a pain, I get it. But seriously, this life isn’t for me. I can do it with Rose, but I can’t do it without her. I can’t, I’ll go completely bonkers by the time you hit puberty. She doesn’t want to be with me. She’s spent a grand total of eleven hours and thirty-eight minutes, what does that tell you? Yes, I counted, you little judgmental piece of… Of Tardis. She spent just under sixteen percent of her time with me over the past three days! Torchwood this, and paperwork that, and where do I stand in all this? What am I, some kind of pet it’s alright to leave alone at home while she goes on her stupid errands? Seriously, I just…”
He was cut halfway through his angry tirade when a pair of naked arms snaked around his waist, drew him into a hug from behind, and a warm, full mouth planted a kiss on the nape of his neck.
“Hello, Doctor,” her beautiful voice smiled into his ear.
“Rose,” he gasped as he twirled around in her arms, terrified that she’d heard too much of his vehement protest.
The apology he wanted to offer died in his throat at the sight of her deep blue dress, the kind of dress he had never seen her wear yet. The skirt stopped mid-thigh, the strapless corset hugged her waist and pushed her breast up to form an impressive cleavage that was made all the prettier by the pendant she was wearing around her neck - he had to swallow a weird squeak when he noticed it was the Tardis key she had brought with her in this universe.
“Rose, you look…” the Doctor started, thinking he would never find the right words to describe her beauty. “You look…”
“You don’t like it?” she teased, peering at him though her thick eyelashes.
“I do, Gods, I do, but… Why? What’s the occasion?”
She bit into her lower lip, a sheepish smile tugging at her lips, and she grasped his tie to pull him on his feet.
“You’re right, you know,” Rose admitted, running a thumb up his tie, to the small curve between his clavicles then up his throat to finally settle on the dip of his chin. “We haven’t spent enough time together.”
“You… You heard, then,” he grimaced, his shoulder slumping slightly. “Rose, you weren’t supposed to.”
“But I did. You got a few things wrong, though.”
“Did I, really?”
“Oh, yes, Doctor. Let me count them up for you.”
The Doctor’s breath hitched in his throat when she pushed her against the edge of the desk and moulded her body against his.
“One, I am not avoiding you. Two,” she paused to press a hard, languid kiss on his kips half-parted in awe, “I did kiss you goodbye this morning, but your head was so far up your bum you probably forgot.”
He moaned into her mouth when she kissed him again, his hands flying to her waist to find an anchor, his stupid human heartbeat going rampant in his ribcage. Okay, maybe she really liked to kiss him, after all - and he couldn’t exactly deny he absolutely adored kissing her, too. And then, her leg slipped between his, her bare foot caressed his calf and her knee slid up his thigh, and his quiet moan turned into a loud groan.
“Three,” she murmured against is cheek, trailing her mouth to his ear, her teeth biting lightly his lobe. “It was a very good idea to move in together. Because believe me, Doctor, we have to make up for so many lost opportunities, we’re gonna need to spend quite some time alone, if you get my meaning. Four...”
Rose brought her hand to his chest, splaying her fingers over his heart.
“I know it’s you, my Doctor,” she kept going, drawing the symbolic shape of a heart across the pectoral defined under his tight shirt. “There’s no him. There’s you. Just you. And five…”
Her cheekiness had only paved the way to a much deeper, sweeter feeling, and she tenderly cupped his face in both her hands to stare into his shiny chocolate eyes.
“I love you,” she smiled, putting the same emphasize on the word you as he had on the word me. “I always have, I always will. I’m sorry the last few days have been hectic, Doctor, but there was so much to do. I’m sorry I was away from you, but I did it for us. Here, look at this.”
The Doctor watched as she produced a small plastic card from behind her back and waved it under his nose.
“Your brand new ID, Doctor, so you can work, go out and basically live a normal life until your baby Tardis is all grown up. That’s why I’m wearing this dress. That’s the occasion. I want to take you on a date tonight. Celebrate the start of us, if you like. How does that sound?”
“Oh, Rose,” he could only whisper, unable to believe she had managed to crush down all of his worries within a short span of two minutes when they’d been brewing in the pit of his stomach for days. “That sounds… Wonderful.”
“Yeah?” she asked with a tongue-touched grin, loving the way his eyes gleamed with a sudden happiness.
“Oh yes,” he confirmed, drawing her into a quick hug before he grabbed her hand and made her spin around on her feet - she pretended to lose her balance, letting herself fall into his arms with a merry giggle. “I love you, Rose. I’m sorry I doubted you.”
“S’alright, Doctor, I know. Come on, go change into a proper tux, Mister Smith, we’re gonna be late.”
“Hm, Smith… “ he mulled the name on the tip of his tongue. “Rose, this might sound a bit silly, but… Would you mind just calling me Doctor when it’s just us? No that I don’t appreciate you getting me this but…”
“Of course I can, Doctor,” she smiled, perfectly aware of the reasons why he wanted her to use this name. “Now go.”
“Right, yes, date,” he nodded with an excited grin, planting a quick peck on her cheek. “Be right back, love you.”
“Love you too, Doctor.”

Sonamy boom how sonic found out that he liked amy or vice versa
Tumblr media
(x) Preview image made by Fennec! Please support her! (I love how self-aware Sonic is in this comic where he looks at his heart he just made and is like ‘crap’ lol XD)
Prompt:
“Sonic! A word with the bird?” Soar quickly had charmed his way into stopping Sonic’s morning run, who rolled his eyes and folded his arms; groaning.
“Mr. Hedgehog, rumors have flown up to my part of the sky and stated that you’ve been running since before the dawn of time! What do you have to say?” He almost jabbed Sonic with the mic, and he had to lunge down to dodge it.
“Hey!” He glared.
“Well said.” Soar pulled the mic back, and then turned to the camera, “Now, for the juicy gossip.” he bounced his eyebrows, as Sonic looked confused.
“W-wait a minute, I thought you just talked about rumors? Why are we going into-OFFPH!”
“Zip it, I haven’t questioned you with intimidating camera lights yet.” Soar shoved his mouth shut before then putting an arm around him and in a flashy manner, raising his head up.
“Ladies and Gentlefolks watching, it’s time for Dropping an Ease!”
Suddenly, Sonic was whisked into a chair, “Hey!” and immediately strapped down from his arms, legs, and braced to the chair.
The chair then squeakily was adjusted to move up with some pump-mechanics and a strobe light flared down on him.
“Wrong light!” someone called, and the light that was blinding Sonic suddenly changed to an interrogation light.
“Better! Roll with it!” the same voice cued and then a hand whipped to a point for Soar to come back on.
He swerved in, happy as ever, before starting up his question again, pulling out a card. “Oh, there’s the lights! Haha! Now then, Sonic…”
“I-I-I don’t think I signed up for this.” Sonic fidgetted.
“Who is…” the man narrowed his eyes, leaning closer to the chair.
“No…no… no!” Sonic kept swishing his head around, before Soar slammed a hand down on its side, stopping Sonic from struggling.
“You’re… Crush!”
“I don’t have one!” Sonic shouted out.
“Don’t lie to me! Lie to them!” Soar then pulled him out of the chair when the locks came automatically off and pulled him up to the camera.
“Honestly! I’m way too cool to have a crush!” Sonic’s face was partly smashed into the camera, as Soar pulled him away, giving him a funny look.
“Really? That’s so… Boring.” he flung Sonic over his shoulder, a humorously blank expression on his face, and Soar looking disappointed.
“Well, that was lame. Sorry, folks! But I guess that means his heart is still up for grabs! Any takers?”
The twins at home squee’d and tapped their feet on the ground.
Dave rolled his eyes, apparently having peeked into his mom’s room to see what she was watching.
Amy.. held her blanket closer to her side, and looked down.
The next day, Sonic was recounting the odd experience, but Amy seemed a bit bitter and was countering everything with sarcasm and ridicule.
“Woah! I’m sorry, but… when did this turn into pick-on-Sonic day!?”
“Last Thursday, but I forgot.” Amy glared back.
“Woah, you two need to chill out.” Tails put up his hands and stepped in-between their odd bickering, before then looking to Sonic with an arrogant glee in his eyes, “I mean. Pfft. We can’t all have love interests.” he gloated, clearly having a crush already.
Sonic groaned again and stomped off.
Once he was gone, shaking his head and growling in anger, she softened up and gripped her heart.
“How can someone NOT have a love interest?!” Amy complained at her group meeting, as the other members looked to each other, and awkwardly back at her. “I mean.. when you spend enough time with a totally cute girl you tend to fall for her, right!? Am I missing something? Could it be her hair? Her cooking? When you literally go out and see a guy-flick WHILE complimenting his manly musk- how can you not get brownie points for that? HOW CAN HE NOT HAVE A CRUSH!?!?”
The rest of the members saw her outburst, and out of fear, nodded and scooted back, all trying to reassure her standpoint or agree in some way to her while they muttered in fright.
Walking home, Sonic dashed right by her, and she mumbled something under her breath about him being a ‘fly-by’ kinda guy, before he came back, seeing her with a smile.
“Oh, hey, Amy, how are ya? Alone? Tonight? Dark night? So am I! haha..?” He suddenly chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head.
“Yeah. Real chilly.” she hunched forward, sighing. “Sonic… can I ask you something.. personal?”
“Personal? Why Personal? Why do we need to be personal?” he fidgetted, rubbing his arm and looking away, trying to keep up his smile. “Ehem, but on the off chance it’s something cool, what did you have in mind?”
She sighed again, “What.. do we have in common?”
That stopped him real quick, as he looked up to the stars. “W-well..”
“I mean, we both love fighting robots… I guess.” she tilted her head, “And you like to eat and I like making things to eat, so we get along there too..” she gestured a hand out. “I just can’t seem to remember anymore…” she lightly scuffed her hand against a piece of wild wheat, letting the little particles fall where they may as she then dusted her hand off.
Sonic began to reminisce, it was a night like this one too… when he found out…
Amy acting silly and over-the-top, ranting on about the movie they just saw.
“I can’t wait to someday take down a whole evil army!”
“Yeah!” Sonic jumped up, “And I can save a princess!”
“Pfft, please.” she flapped her hand out, “I’m the one saving lazy princesses! You and go and uh… slay a dragon or… something.” she happily balanced on a pole before Sonic spoke up again.
“Hey,… I could save anyone I wanted too! That’s it! A dragon princess!”
“Lame.” Amy did a unique flip, which caught Sonic’s attention. “Woah…” he stared, “Hey, that’s actually kinda cool. And I should know, I’m the epitome of cool~” he flashed his best ‘cool-guy’ finger guns and smile.
She stared a moment before her red cheeks turned away and giggled, sitting down on the horizontal pole. “I guess I just like to be athletic.”
“And that’s totally cool!” Sonic jumped and grabbed the pole, lifting himself up by his arms, showing off. “Hey, Amy. Me and Tails were thinking… you.. you could be pretty cool if you were a hero, ya know.”
She gave him an odd look, “What do you mean? Could?” she teased, lifting her head before ducking it and seeming to blush again, but he didn’t notice, looking up at the night sky.
“I mean.. the first time I met you, you stormed through our door and demanded to be apart of our gang, right?”
“Yeah, so?”
“Well, you made it! You took down Eggman’s robots and even out swung Knuckles! It could be fun, you know? Even if you are a girl…” he looked away, growing strangely shy.
He didn’t seem to mean coming off any particular way, but Amy puffed up her childish cheeks and went to get him.
“And what is that suppose to- ah..aHHH!!!” she lost her balance! Falling fast before Sonic impulsively moved and grabbed her hand.
“Hang on!”
He tried to pull her up, as she watched with amazed eyes before their fingers slipped.
“Amy!”
“Sooooniicc!”
He dashed down in a quick spin-ball like way, ratcheting off of trees and a building nearby to then grab her in his arms.
“Got’cha!”
The two stared in wide-eyed enchantment at one another…
Sonic’s heart was racing, but he figured it was from all the excitement of the daring rescue.
He had never been this close to a girl before…
Amy stumbled out of his arms, growing increasingly more embarrassed. “T-there! You saved a girl! Way to go!” she seemed to aggressively speak the words out, but Sonic took it literally.
As she adjusted her dress and patted her flaming cheeks, he looked at his hands, and then smiled gleefully up at her.
“I did!”
She turned around.
“I totally just saved your life! Ha! You must think I’m the coolest dude around now!”
She couldn’t help it. She turned with a gentle smile, “You were cool without the heroics… Sonic.”
He paused a moment, watching her expression and feeling something stir once again to be closer to her again.
She batted her eyes away, a cute touch, before closing her eyes and tilting her head in a way that made her hair sway with the gesture.
“I always thought of you as my hero.”
Then, something odd and strange happened to him.
He pouted, feeling embarrassed as his face brightened and he angrily wagged his arms about.
“BUT THAT’S NOT FAIR!” he hollered, “I’m supposed to be cooler than that!”
What he never admitted, was that the heat that seemed to come from anger… was from being so touched by such a strong, graceful girl considering him her hero before he officially saved her.
Sonic shook his head from this thoughts, “I always thought we had saving people in common.” he smiled gently, not expecting her to catch on to his inside-reference.
“Hehe, yeah… We’ve always loved saving the world.” She smiled then, turning back to him.
She put her hands behind her back, “You know, we’ve saved it so many times!”
“It’s been fun.” his voice lowered, his eyes lingering on her younger self, the image in his mind.. the feeling of holding her again..
“Yeah, well… I guess it never gets old, huh?” she turned to look back at the stars, not even noticing him staring sweetly to her.
He tilted his head, “No.” he tenderly closed his eyes and looked down. “I guess not.”
He forgot the world for a second…
He’d rather save her again…
If ever she got into trouble again, she was too careful these days…
Too good at saving others and herself.
She suddenly saw something and went over to get it, before tripping and Sonic opening his eyes, almost too late to notice.
Could it be..?
His heart raced, he wondered if fate had heard him before Amy caught herself and balanced her landing with a beautiful roll and poise.
“Ta-dah! haha! No girls’ complete unless she can catch herself, huh Sonic?” she cheekily smiled behind to him, grinning wildly and hoping to make him feel impressed.
However… from his point-of-view… it was cruel. Oh so mockingly cutely..
His hand was still inches from reaching out for her…
He withdrew it back and folded his arms, turning grumpy.
“Yeah,.. swell.” he pouted. “Call me old fashion… but I liked it when heroes saved princesses…” he muttered out.
Amy blushed and looked away. “Y-yeah… I guess that’s just you.”
He frowned harder.
“But…” she giggled and kicked the ground, “Nowadays… girls need a new kind of hero..” she skipped on, and in curiosity, Sonic followed after her.
“Like what?” Sonic stated, rounding to her side. “What kind of hero do girls want?”
“Not want.” Amy stated, winking at him and turning, “Need.”
He pursued, “Y-yeah, but you didn’t answer me!”
“So persistent~ Why are you trying to find out what girls need in a man, Sonic?”
“You said hero.”
“Fine. I’ll tell you.” she put her hands on her hips and spun around. “Girls need a hero who saves them from the things that aren’t attacking them on the outside.”
He paused, not understanding.
“…A princess…” she touched her heart, looking suddenly sorrowful as she peered down at it. “Needs someone who will save her tears…”
She walked on, and Sonic found himself falling in love all over again…
Sonic then deeply believed that it was an inexcusable sin to make girls cry.
“Oh no...” he shuttered. “I think I did lie.. But not to them.” she was already out of earshot.
“...But to her.”
He didn’t want to save princesses.
He wanted to save the one girl that saw him as a hero... before he ever was one.

Yoosung lost their baggage and basically needs to borrow everything from V, please? I love the way you write! And I'm happy to know that you ship two of my otps (vsung and juzen), thank you in advance!
(With hindsight, setting this in a hotel made it a little more difficult, sorry ^^””” Perhaps it’s not what you expected.) As stated in Birthday, Yoosung’s hair is back to its natural color, and this is post-op!V. Not exactly NSFW because I had to tone it down a lot, but eh. Thanks for the prompt!
5) Yoosung x V ~ A lost their baggageand needs to borrow basically everything from B.
“Hurry up, Yoosung! Holdmy hand; we’ll have to run to the gate!” V urged, reaching out for Yoosung.
“I’ll do the runningand tell them to hold the gate! You still shouldn’t make any kind ofunnecessary effort, the doctor said so!” Yoosung snatched V’s backpack and ranpast him, groaning loudly.
So bright andbeautiful, V thought, as he watched his lover’s back. His light-blue t-shirt andjeans revealed a slim body, one that V both feared and longer to embrace. Hedecided against running to avoid the impact, but he hurried as much as hecould. Yoosung had already reached the gate, and was beaming and wavingfrantically, making the flight attendant standing next to him titter.
“Aaah, we can finallyrelax!” Yoosung sighed, plopping down in his seat. “Thank you for changing myseat, but are you sure you don’t want to be by the window?”
“I’m fine. Being exposedto too much light is still uncomfortable. Besides, I can see the sky perfectlyfine from here. We’ll be having great weather. And since it’s your first timetraveling abroad, I’m sure you’ll want to take a good look at everything.”
Yoosung blushedslightly and gave him a shy smile. “Heh… Yes, you’re right. Hey, we should takea picture to commemorate the occasion!” He took out his cellphone and blinked.“Ah, you don’t mind this commoners’ device, do you, Mr. ProfessionalPhotographer?”
“It will have to do,”V replied. He turned to Yoosung and murmured in his ear, “But I guess thismeans later on it will be my turn to capture you, right?” Ah, Yoosung’s cheekswere ruby red. V could even feel his heat just by staying close to him. Teasinghim had become some kind of pastime for him, something that he’d never thoughthe would enjoy so much. He left a quick peck on Yoosung’s right cheek andsmiled for the camera, looking forward to a peaceful time together…
… which seemed tovanish when they learned that Yoosung’s bag had disappeared and waspossibly on its way to Manila.
“How could thishaaappeeen?” Yoosung pouted, his face squished against the airline counter.“All my things! My trunks! My favorite LOLOL t-shirt! What am I gonna doooo,Jihyuuun?”
Yoosung with noclothes?
Yoosung with no clothes.
“Don’t worry, we canbuy some things for you tomorrow. I know! Wouldn’t you like to get a yukata?”
Yoosung sniffled. “… Iguess it would be nice to have one.”
“We can get matchingyukata, then…” V said, and then he added, “… tomorrow. I have my clothes withme, and you can borrow some of them. I’m not much taller now, so they should fityou well.”
Upon getting to thehotel, Yoosung ran out to the balcony and breathed in the fresh seaside air.“Wow! This is so beautiful! I can feel all my problems going away already, hehe…” he chuckled, turning to V. “I’m sorry you saw me sulking back then. Youprobably think I’m a spoiled airhead.”
V passed his fingersthrough Yoosung’s dark chestnut hair and kissed his forehead. “You’re preciousto me.” He wrapped his arms around him and squeezed him, burying his nose inYoosung’s neck. “So, so, so precious!”
“You’re tickling me!”Yoosung squealed, nuzzling him. “Oh?” He looked past V’s shoulder and his eyesopened wide. “Th-The shower has a w-window to the bed-bedroom!” He squinted atV and pinched his cheeks. “Jihyun, you’re such a pervert.”
“You can always pulldown the shades.” He kissed the curve of Yoosung’s neck. “So, will you bejoining me in the shower?”
A smirk spread alongYoosung’s lips. “You go first,” he said, unbuckling V’s belt. “I’ll watch.”
One by one, V’sclothes fell onto the floor as he walked to the bathroom. Even if that spacewas cool, he could feel Yoosung’s melting gaze on him. He turned on the tapsand let the warm water run down his back, but it wasn’t hot enough. Nothing ever was, compared to Yoosung’s feel. He turned around and he found his lover’s eyesdrinking in every part of his body. Such an aroused face… “Come,” V said, beckoning.
Like every time theytouched, V’s heartbeat quickened to the point of overwhelming him. Peoplealways said that romance and passion never lived long. He himself had been in arelationship before, but it couldn’t be compared. Yoosung was intoxicating and cleansing:strong yet vulnerable, demanding and calming; he was the sky and the abyss. He filled him up in a way thatcouldn’t be put into words.
“Jihyun…” Yoosungcalled, cupping his face. His lips parted in a coy smile.
It’s like standing at the edge of a cliff. He’sgoing to devour me, Vthought, as he closed his eyes and met his kiss.
“… You should have—”
“Yes, I should havetaken off my clothes before going into the shower, I knooow,” Yoosung whined, slumping against V’s side, who grabbed the towel and started to dry his hair vigorously.“Heh, thanks. I wonder how we are going to go out for dinner now. We can’t wearthe robes to the restaurant.”
“You can borrowsome of my things. Pull up the hem of the pants and… the shirt won’t be aproblem, right?” He stood up and looked for the summer pants. “Here, theseshould be good. I don’t have another belt and you’ll need one, but… Ah, we canuse this tie!”
“Why do you have atie?”
“Jumin gave it to melast Christmas.”
“I meant to ask whyyou have a tie here. It’s not like you brought a suit and— oh my god Jihyun you really are a pervert.”
V went crimson asYoosung rolled on the bed, laughing. “Forget about it! God… We… We can fashionit into a belt, see?”
“Alright, I see,”Yoosung coughed. “Maybe I can borrow your white shirt? It’s tight, compared tothe others.”
“Sure. So now allthat’s left is the underwear. There’s this one,” he said, taking out a pair ofgrey boxers, “but for your size maybe you should— what are you doing?” he exclaimed slightly horrified as he sawYoosung wriggling into the boxers V had taken off before going into the shower.
“These are fine, don’tw—”
“Yoosung, please! I’ll die of embarrassment!” Vscrambled to his feet. “Take them off! How can you do that sort of thing?”
“It’s fiiine!” Yoosunggrinned. He caught sight of V’s red cheeks and grabbed him by the arm, pullinghim into a warm embrace. “It’s fine, I don’t mind. It’s yours,” he said gently, kissing V’s hair.
“It’s dirty,” Vsulked, hiding his face.
“It’s not. Knowingyou, you probably changed it one hour before the flight. And besides, it’syours. I really don’t mind, silly. Won’t you look at me?” he asked. When V shookhis head, he leaned forward and whispered something in his ear. Their eyes metand Yoosung grinned. “Heh…”
There were so manythings V wanted to say, so many words he hoped he could give Yoosung in returnfor the hope he’d given him… But all he could come up with was, “Let’s go outfor dinner.”
“Alright,” Yoosungsaid, tousling his hair.
As they entered theelevator, V looked at Yoosung’s reflection. His pale skin against the darkhair, those violet puppy eyes. His slender body, the clothes that fit himperfectly, and his bright smile, the greatest indication of his beautiful soul.V squished his face and gave him a loud kiss on the cheek.
“Eh? What was thatfor?” Yoosung blinked.
V leaned forward andwhispered his magic words in Yoosung’s ear, leaving him so stunned that he wasunable to move even after the doors had opened.
“Hurry up, Yoosung,”he smiled. “Hold my hand…”
