#yet I do wonder if there'd be a part of him feeling like you've been stepping on “his turf” with kalim

Ngl I've always headcanoned my yuu to befriend kalim and be his cheerleader, moral support, and a coach (if needed) to accelerate kalim's growth in life-skill learning because I want his retainer all to myself lmao. Call it investment or whatever
Hasdfh let’s hope your Yuu is careful enough not to give Kalim a disproportionate amount of attention or said retainer might get very much the wrong idea.
What a way to be thinking ahead to get what you want, truly diligence worthy of Scarabia.

Enjoy your life at peace eat, drink, work, and sleep. Cycle this routine as life goes on. Until a man who is not your dream shows up. Since his parents and yours used to be hardcore bff when they were young, they wanted to tie the bond together by arranging a forced marriage between Sunghoon Park and M/N.
Disagree to this arrangement would be useless; why on earth would your parents befriend the gangster group out of everyone else? Which makes it worse if you don't want to be married to a man you have never met.
Along with your future groom, maybe at least you expected that he would be a gentleman, is a green flag, have a nice attitude, know what's right or wrong, be mature, talkative, or so on, yet none of these can be seen in him. All Sunghoon had was a face, a body, and a dead-looking, cold face.
He was an ice prince, for real. So on the day both guardians confirmed this ceremony, you couldn't help but wonder: What did you do to deserve all of this? A future husband who couldn't fit your standards—a future husband you didn't even know and love before. What would the tension between this unfold? Just sigh and let it be; better shut up or be breathless.
Later on, after the big party, Sunghoon and M/N were freshly married. Nothing special happened, not even a spare word for each other, any eye contact, especially Park Sunghoon, what's do you expect? All you got on your night together was,
"I don't like you, m/n—don't get your hope up just because we're married; now remember your place,"
and that was the last thing you've heard him say, and it's the most hurtful thing you've ever experienced. Then why? A month had passed since we were married, and you had noticed that Sunghoon's behavior had slightly changed from before.
He has a hot temper whenever you're on the phone with anyone, having a nice conversation with the neighbors, or interacting with anyone passing by when going out, and he can't seem to calm down. Sunghoon himself didn't even know why he felt this way; he said he hated you, but why would he be jealous of somebody else other than him? However, he didn't care if you'd bring up those events when he said those words.
All he knows is that he realizes that nobody else cares about him more than you. M/N, as Sunghoon's husband. Never been a lazy househusband; whatever the tension of hatred is, you still make him eat three times a day. Doing all the shit in the house as if you're the one who brought it. When he was sick, you were never afraid to ask him what's up and how he feels. And that's when he knows that you're the one.
Either you love him or not, he's going to repay you and make you love him back. Who cares right now if you love him or not, because once you're in here, you can't leave in anyway? Coming home after a late-night date, Sunghoon's is full of all the memories and contact you had with the waitress earlier at the restaurant. You were a little too sweet toward those guys. as a result of making him unable to hold back his possessions and jealousy any more. Sunghoon needs to mark you as his own; it's now or never that you are his property only. The eyes contact; ugh, he can't seem to stop the burning sensation inside his brain.
Without further ado, once m/n settles in the bedroom, Sunghoon quickly locks the door slam with one click, and all the windows shut off from the remote. Starlet, by the sudden, you ask him nervously; a look could kill a person's presence on Sunghoon's face. It was dark; if his eyes could glow, it'd be lava red in irritated. Yet he didn't respond with anything. He ripped off his top and threw them away before buckled his belt, prepared to do something to his desire.
You know that you'd be a food to his Hungary by this midnight, all fabric on the floor. What's that mean? Well,  he's probably doing what most couples do; actually, he's going to fuck and drive you nuts. Gulping down a hard lamp in your throat, too scared to run away, too scared to say no, but there's a small part in you that screams you have to let him be; there's must be something underneath after all of this. When you open up for him, exhale what's coming for you. In one motion, both of you and his underwear are nowhere to be seen.
You always wonder, as a boy, what the dick would look like for the hot guy. It is long, small, curved, or what? Yes, Sunghoon was there to unveil that; his cock was gorgeous, he had big, huge ass balls, and the shaft was paler than his skin. His tip is faded pink, and well, the best part is that he's uncut. He doesn't like getting his skin chopped off anyway. Seeing you gone speechless by the view he was giving, only to boost his desire even better, no warning alert, your two legs are thrown across on his shoulder, while his cock is in the position of your small hole.
The atmosphere changes in an instant; the dark, empty bedroom is filled with a burning spark. Neither you nor him had any experience, but let's say Sunghoon has been trained for a while now, probably most of his alone time, to know and do what could drive you to your begging stage.
"S-sunghoon, I know it's not wrong, but... You're too huge for me."
"I don't give a damn, m/n, endure it. I'm yours, husband, isn't it? You can't say otherwise!" Distracted by his words, you were surprised at the contact of his cock buried inside you, thrusting in unexpectedly. The enormous hard cock of his indeed spread your ass into two, resulting in your cries out with pleasure.
Seeing you still adjusting to his size, Sunghoon trailed down his lip, brushing softly against yours. The kiss is mixed with love and jealousy of his; he can't stop it now to breed you and mark you as his own. He was eager to tell the world you were his only. Sinking into Sunghoon's touch, you slowly and finally adjust to his huge cock. Once he knew you were ready, his demonic power took over him as he began to push his hip to the deepest part he could ever go in one thrust. The sudden sensation drizzled you as you whimpered out loud shamelessly. Meanwhile, Sunghoon also had the same feeling; his body shuddered into pieces when he moved his own hip up and down.
All those sex toys are nothing compared to your tight entrance, which is clenching so hard and tight of his cock at the moment. He is groaning so good; it was heavenly pleasurable. It's going on for another couple of poundings until Sunghoon gets a sign he'll explode anytime soon. Clearly, you are unprepared but have to be without it. As both of his large arms encircle your waist, the wet kisses continue harder than his tongue licking over all your lips and intertwined in your mouth. Chasing that climax, which is what you're aiming for too,
"M/n, I'm fucking coming; I'm coming; I'm —" desperately, he breaks the kisses, and in one last grind, he comes undone inside of you. The massive load filled you like a cum dump, squirting out all of his orgasms and shivering with all the nerves. Enough with him cumming out; you're soon finding your dick twitches, following his orgasm as it squirted, and shooting out the hot white liquids too.
With your eyes flying up facing the ceiling, you endure the pleasure, sucking in a sharp breath. You were almost passed out with just one round, your chest heaving nonstop while Sunghoon was already recovering a while ago. M/N just feels too good to fuck, and he won't stop till he is satisfied.
"M/n! Don't test me from now on; I realized that you're nobody but someone who still puts up with me even if I'm a bad husband. I'm going to love you like no one else can, and if you ever smile at somebody else than me, I promise I'll bring the heat back."

Josh Kiszka x Female Reader
Summary: You bagged a part in a little indie movie. But your co-star is changed at the final hour, meaning you've never met him before. Josh is the director's friend, doing him a well earned favour by starring in the steamy little flick. Everything appears to be going well, until a technical problem means you're left undressed and exposed underneath your co-star. And things start to get a little real.
A/N: I wrote this little piece last year, just to satisfy a little itch I needed to scratch. It was the last piece I wrote before Josh came out a few days later. And ever since, I have written Josh as queer. However, I still love all the Josh fics I wrote before and they are still worthy of being shared. As are all fics. So please, enjoy one of my older pieces in my new space!
Warnings: All the usual smuttyness you've come to expect from me, including the usual foreplay details and full penetrative sex. Nothing too out of the ordinary.

You tightened the robe around your waist and lingered on the edge of the set. The bed looked unmade already. The light above it hanging precariously low.
And your co-star had been re-cast at the very last minute. Leaving you with a bundle of nerves in your stomach, wondering if there would even be chemistry between the two of you.
The brief introduction that morning had left you wondering if you could get through the scene. It demanded so much intimacy and tension that your resolve had fallen by the wayside the moment you shook his hand and he gave you his name, Josh.
He wasn't anything like your previous co-star. His smile was so wide and sincere it disarmed you immediately. He smiled with his eyes. Something you'd yet to encounter in any co-star you'd worked with previously. Not that there were many, you were still in the infancy of your career.
This was your first big movie. Big in the sense that it had a name attached to it now that would bring audiences in. Your newly appointed co-star was already known in his own right. But today, he was just doing an old friend a favour.
"Nervous?" He asked, appearing at your side in a matching robe, void of all his previous clothes and accessories.
He looked a little different without his earrings and beads. His hair a little more tamed, curls resting casually against his buzzed sides. Certainly, he didn't intimidate you as much.
"A little." You replied, watching the camera and mic being set up. "You?"
He smiled that wide sparkle of a grin again and looked down at his feet.
"You'd think I'd never performed in front of thousands of people before the way my heart is beating so fast right now."
His honesty warmed that space between your chest and stomach. You were strangely comforted.
"This is a little different." You pointed out, "A closed set is way more intimidating than an audience of thousands."
"It seems that way." He agreed, "Have you ever done this before?"
You were fresh out of college. Still climbing the audition ranks, setting yourself up for a knock back each time until the answer had been an unwavering yes. Just a little indie movie that had barely made the festival circuit. And certainly, there'd been no sex involved.
"This is my first time." You confessed nervously, "I spent a lot of time getting to know the previous guy, but in the end it just didn't feel right."
Josh shook his head. "Chris wasn't happy with him, either. That's why he called me. I owed him a favour from a few years ago. And, I liked the script anyway."
He was cute. A little dimple forming in his cheek as he spoke. Your nerves began to churn in your stomach at the thought of having him so close to you.
"You've known Chris a long time?" You asked, trying to keep the conversation light as the crew continued to mess with all the gear.
"Since film school." Josh replied, "We used to make short films together out in the woods or in my parents garage. He's come a long way since then."
"So have you, by all accounts." You replied, immediately regretting your choice of words.
You didn't want him to know that you'd looked him up the moment you'd been informed he was going to be working with you.
He stole a glance towards you. A look of benign surprise on his face. As if he was touched that you'd done the research.
"It would seem that you know more about me than I know about you."
You couldn't help but find that insignificant fact slightly alluring. There was no google search that would bring up anything of value about you. Your name wasn't known. You wondered if he had tried.
"Well, I'm a Vegetarian Pisces who enjoys long walks on sandy beaches and drinking wine from my birth year." You replied jovially, trying to keep your nerves in check.
"Is any of that true?" He probed further, pulling a little tighter on the belt of his robe, the veins in his hands almost popping.
"I think, maybe, it would be more prudent of us not to know too much about each other." You said, turning to face him, "I knew a shit ton about the other guy and in the end I realised there was nothing there."
He considered it for a moment. "You have to give me something, you at least have something about me."
Chris was somebody you'd been excited to work for. He was leading the way for indie movies, his work often starting with toe-curling visuals of traumatic events and then crumbling into intimate moments such as the one you were about to film in order to shock audiences and make them fall in love with the characters.
It made sense that he had had asked Josh to step in. You could see how passionate he was on stage in the video's you'd watched. The hours of scrolling you'd done the night before to get a feel of him, which clearly meant nothing now that he was stood at your side. His vibe completely different to what you'd expected.
"Ok, you can have something." You allowed, "I'm truly a Vegetarian Pisces. But I can't stand wine. And I definitely don't have any desire to walk long distances over sand."
He laughed a little. The sweetest sound. A little low uh huh that made the knot in your stomach tighten. The way he made you feel becoming more apparent as you stood there. The anticipation just about threatening to choke you.
Chris suddenly clasped his hands together, the sound drawing you from your internal dialogue.
"Ok, we're ready for you now." He announced, gesturing over to the bed. "So, I think it would be best if we have you both in missionary. The bed sheet will be hiding your lower halves. But top halves will be exposed."
You allowed your robe to fall. Revealing your body in infinite detail beneath the low light. The modesty patch between your legs shrouding the most intimate part of you, but every line and curve of you otherwise on display.
You slipped into the unmade bed. Preparing yourself. Mentally skimming over what he might look like underneath that robe. He wasn't as tall as the other guy, far less daunting for you. His slight build had caught you off guard at first, dressed in a white t-shirt and a pair of beige shorts. Not what you'd expected in the slightest.
Your eyes fell to the side as he followed suit. Letting his robe fall to the ground. A sincere and subtle gasp leaving your mouth as you gazed at his body. His modesty patch sitting snugly against his bulge, which was far more robust that you'd been able to conjur in your mind.
His chest was perfectly smooth. His stomach lined with a trail of hair reaching up from below up to his navel. The muscles at his waist creating that shape you could never look away from. Arms perfectly sculpted, like every part of him was solid and smooth. Carved from marble.
As he made his way over to you, there was a profound rush of blood to your core. You felt the ache almost immediately as he positioned himself above you. Leaning his weight on arms either side of you. Your legs wide open beneath the sheet, with very minimal contact.
"Are you both comfortable?" Chris asked, signalling over to another member of the crew, who brought a smaller camera unflinchingly close.
You nodded. Josh nodded.
"Ok, hold those positions for me just a second..."
Chris scurried off. Exchanging heated words with the rest of the crew. You couldn't make out what they were saying, but you knew it wasn't good.
"There's a technical issue." Josh sighed, "And if we move then they'll have to set up the lighting all over again."
You wrinkled your nose. "You managed to catch all that?"
"Can't see why else he would be so pissed." He surmised, daring to look down at you for the first time.
You took note of the way the muscles in his arms were flexed. His shoulders a little hunched, straining against his modesty patch not making contact with yours. You could see him start to visibly shake.
"I can't hold like this much longer." He moaned, his voice low and careful. "We might have to move, anyway."
It was in your mind to agree. There was a part of you that wanted to make a good impression, though. To not create more issues when there appeared to be enough already. Josh was so tense. So consumed with professionalism. It was endearing.
"Relax a little." You encouraged. "That can't be comfortable for you like that."
"Oh, there's nothing I would love more." He replied heartily, "But the minute I do there's nothing stopping us from...uh, bumping into each other."
"Josh." You said pointedly, "You'll be too exhausted for the scene, just let go. I don't mind..."
You could see that he was lost in thought. His eyes trailed down the centre of your chest and came to rest at your breasts. A little tremble in his lip as he allowed his body to soften against you. His shoulders dipped a little. His waist moving forward. You could feel his modesty patch rest against yours. But it wasn't unpleasant. And the look of sheer relief on his face was radiant.
"Guys I'm so sorry about this." Chris said, hurrying back over to the bed with a little walkie talkie in his hand. "I know it's meant to be a closed set but I need my tech guy and his assistant to come in. Feel free to get back into your robes and we can re-set."
"We're good." Josh replied, without any hesitation. "The last thing you need is a re-set."
There was a peculiar edge to the way Chris' face responded. Almost as if he hadn't expected it.
"Are you sure? I mean... I don't know how long this is going to take..."
"I'm sure." Josh continued, "Do what you have to do."
Chris looked towards you. "You ok down there?"
The scent of his cologne was in the air. A sexy, woody scent that was unlike anything you'd ever smelled before.
"All good here." You replied, fighting the urge not to lift your head into the crook of his neck to take in more of it.
Suddenly it was as if you were alone with him. Chris and the rest of the crew were gathered at the side, preoccupied with the faulty camera and lost in muffled conversation.
Josh was quite literally between your legs. Your bodies in full contact. His stance a little more fluid now, but he still held himself above you as a matter of politeness.
"I like that freckle." He pondered, making eyes at the little dark spot on your collar bone.
You couldn't help but giggle. "I like your scar."
You reached up and tapped your finger against his cheek. "Chicken pox?"
"I was six." He replied, "Me and my brother both got it at the same time. He's got a scar on the same side, too."
Oh god, why did he have to be so charming? You could see the way he was fighting against looking at you, trying to keep your eye contact rather than notice all the nuances of your body.
"You can't help yourself, can you?" You said, taking in the brown and hazel in his eyes. "You're a talker, aren't you?"
Crimson rose in his cheeks. "I'm sorry. It's just a bizarre situation to be in."
"Agreed." You sighed, "Although I am going to have to move a little, my hips are starting to ache."
Immediately, he lifted up. Allowing you to close your legs a little before repositioning. The contact sent ripples of heat throughout your body. The sensation of his skin against yours was so palpable, you hadn't expected it.
"You want me to stay up here or...?" He asked, lingering in the space between your thighs.
"Take the stress off your arms." You replied, inviting him to bring his weight down upon you.
He lilted down onto his forearms, taking the strain off his biceps. Bringing his face a little closer. And his bulge was pressed even further against your patch. All you could focus on was the way he felt against you. Smooth and solid. And he smelled heavenly.
"I kinda wish there weren't any camera's rolling." He confessed, "Then we could just get on with it."
You couldn't fight against the natural position of your arms. Resting at your side, it felt more comfortable to bring them to the curve of his spine. Less awkward. The movement made him hiss through clenched teeth.
"Then it would be a terrible movie that nobody would ever get to see." You muttered, trying to keep your touch feather light.
You barely noticed when Chris returned, kneeling at the side of the bed as you stared into Josh's eyes.
"Ok, we need to ditch this camera entirely. It's fucking dead." He explained, "So the plan is to keep the primary one rolling and get all the side angles done. I've sent for a replacement. So it might mean having to do all of this again after lunch. Which I can only only apologise for."
It didn't feel as if an apology was required. There was a hint of a sly grin on Josh's perfectly pouted mouth as he looked at you.
"You want us to go at it?" Josh asked, "Like, right now?"
Chris rolled his eyes, speaking with his hands as he gave a little direction.
"You're in love with this girl. It's your first time back at her place. You're a little nervous. And you've been waiting for this moment. Try to play it like that. She doesn't know you're in love with her yet. But she's in love with you, too. It's like a secret you both carry. I'm going to leave the camera running while I go and make sure the back up is running ok. I'll leave Mike to run it, he knows what he's doing. I think this could work out much better, actually."
As Chris walked out of the room, it fell silent. You could scarcely feel the presence of the guy standing in the corner, manning the camera quietly. You had no dialogue. No idea where to even begin.
A small voice broke the tension. "Uh, just to let you know we're rolling, guys."
Josh was trembling again. You could feel him shake against you. His mouth open a little as he checked in with you.
"I'm going to kiss you now, if that's ok?"
You didn't need to respond in words. It felt like permission to do whatever he wanted was silently granted. You didn't want to film a love scene with him. You wanted to fuck him, genuinely and passionately fuck him. Not as your character, but as yourself. And you'd never felt more disappointed.
Why couldn't you just be professional? Even as he leaned down and gently pressed his lips against yours you wished that you could just let him touch you without wanting it to be real.
The kiss deepened as you opened your mouth. Letting his tongue slide in, making sure the camera could see it as he turned his head. He felt like velvet. The taste of mint on his breath. Like he'd prepared for you.
In the distance, you heard a door opening.
"Oh, that's good." You heard Chris say, as he came back in carrying a bundle of wires and cords. "There's going to be soundtrack over the visual, so don't worry about verbal co-ordination. You're doing great."
You could feel yourself want to move. The bed sheet was languishing at Josh's waist, thin and light enough that your shadows could be seen beneath. You wrapped your legs around him a little, causing him to gasp into your mouth.
"Oh, shit..." He uttered, burying his face into the curve of your neck.
You felt it. The hardness. The way it grew against his modesty patch and threatened to detach it entirely.
"I'm so sorry....I'm so sorry...." He breathed, urgently recoiling his hand down to where he tried to contain it.
"Just go with it." You whispered, "I'm a grown woman, aren't I?"
You reached down and whipped it off for him. The relief etched in his brow as his cock sprang free. You knew that Chris had noticed. How could he not? But he remained silent.
You drew him into a rhythm. His cock pressed achingly hard against your patch, his girth and length writhing up against you as his body moved. The simulation only partially real.
"Is this ok?" He asked in peaked breaths, trying to keep his flushed face in shot.
"Mmm'hmmm." You replied softly, tossing your head back and arching your spine to accommodate the new sensation.
That was when you heard them talking. Chris and Mike in the corner, their heads leaned in to one another, discussing something you couldn't make out.
"Just keep going." He finally said, "We're going to dip out. The camera is on. Do whatever."
The door closed. The set fell to a level of intimacy you hadn't expected. Josh, above you, looking down as he began to pound into you.
You were hopelessly caught in the crossfire of wanting to take your own modesty patch off. To reach down and just pull it away. Biting down on your lower lip against the intrusive thoughts.
"Oh, fuck..." He stuttered, trying so hard to keep himself steady. "I can't believe this is happening..."
You felt a little moisture land on your stomach. Looking down you could see him leaking out above your patch.
"Just say it, Josh." You said breathlessly, "Just tell me to take it off."
There was a conflict there in his face as he considered it. You began to wonder what would happen if he didn't? Did it mean that he didn't want it like you did? Was his throbbing hard on just a reaction to the environment or did he really want to fuck you, too? His body was tense again, his tongue coming into your mouth a little harder as he continued to pound his erection against the little strip of fabric keeping you apart.
"Fuck it." He finally relented, "Take the fucking thing off."
The sound which escaped your lungs as he plunged into you filled the entire room. The sheet slipped off the bed. You could feel your legs being lifted, his torso leaning up. You were at his mercy.
He filled you up so completely. Stretching you. Making it sting. His beautiful little grunts intensified as he looked down at you, laid bare for him in reality as well as for the film.
"You look so fucking beautiful." He told you, uncertain if it were Josh speaking to you or if he was still in character.
It mattered little. This feeling was euphoric. The camera only serving to make the rush that little bit more erotic. You laid there and marvelled at his body as he fucked into you. Every muscle that flexed on display for you.
Or was it for you? Was it for the camera? You looked over towards it. Breaking a cardinal rule. The red light on the side flashing.
"Do you like to watch?" You asked, staring directly into the lens.
Josh stilled for a moment. "Oh, you're fucking filthy aren't you?"
"They can't use this now." You mused, pulling him down onto you again, missing the contact of him against you. "Just fuck me good, we can do a real take later."
He took his cue from you, nobody else. Even if it meant you'd be fired, you would have this. He felt too good. Each thrust was sweeter than the last. Questioning yourself on why you wanted him so bad. This wasn't like you. You weren't the type to risk everything for how good a cock felt inside you.
"You like how I feel, huh?" He asked, ask if he could hear your reverie loud and clear.
"Fuck, yes." You found yourself saying, "Oh, fuck...I'm in so much trouble..."
He managed to smile that devastating grin as he hung above, deliciously moving his hips into you a little slower. Teasing. Making it last longer.
"Don't worry." He reassured, "Your pussy feels so fucking good, there's no way I'm not fucking this again."
You were floored. Dumbfounded. "What about...Chris...the movie..."
His mouth was at your nipples. Grazing his teeth over the hard peak, licking around them until he took them between his lips and sucked.
"Don't make me say it." He said between bites, "I'll make him delete this. But not before I get a copy. You won't be out of a job, trust me..."
He was sincere and genuine before, you had no reason to doubt his sincerity now. Not while he was inside you. Telling you how good you felt, how beautiful you looked. You'd never seen anyone more engrossed in you, his focus completely on you and not on your surroundings.
"Where do you want me to cum?" He asked diligently, his tongue licking a stripe up your throat.
You could barely keep it together. Your high pitched moans coming in louder, fingers digging into his ass cheeks as he picked up the pace.
"I don't care..."
Your clit was throbbing for pressure. Instinctually, he seemed to gravitate towards it. Pressing his thumb against the swell as he continued the onslaught. The entire thing was so erotic, so unlike you.
"Are you on birth control?" He asked tentatively, leading soft and slow swirls against your clit as he watched his cock slide in and out of you.
You nodded. Looking up at how he seemed to know exactly where your mind was at.
"Oh, you're fucking getting it." He said, "All of it."
You knew he was close. The way he came down on you and pressed his entire body against you. Ready to give his all into the final thrusts. You were satisfied, but not nearly close to being done with him.
"You first." He whispered softly, gyrating his hips in a circular motion so that your clit got full sensation.
You fell apart so quickly, it was like a bolt of lightening striking from the tip of your clit and resonating out towards the rest of your beating veins. You gripped him so tight, certain he would cum soon after.
"That's so fucking hot." He told you, "I felt everything twitch, your pussy felt so tight..."
Fuck, he really was a talker. You heard him whisper obscenities as he continued. Working himself up into a frenzy.
You felt the need to requite his tenacity.
"Fucking cum inside me!" You demanded, locking your legs against his ass. "I want to feel it spill."
He wasn't expecting it. But you felt vindicated as he convulsed on top of you. Moaning heavily into your ear. The hot, warm and sticky mess he created spurting inside you. Nothing had ever felt more intense.
For a moment nothing felt real. Not the light above. Nor the camera at your side. The silence was deafening as you both tried to catch your breath.
Reeling back into reality.
"What the fuck just happened?!" You asked, "Oh my god, I am so fucking sorry. That was so unprofessional of me!"
"And me." He replied, his throat flexing as he swallowed hard. "I didn't mean for that to happen, at all. I promise."
"But it did happen." Chris said, peeking his head around the door. "Is it safe to come in?"
Josh was soft now. Pulling away from you, but leaving his cum behind. He wrapped the bed sheet around you both, making sure your modesty was kept despite what you'd both just done.
"I can't lie guys, I wasn't expecting that." He sighed, rubbing a stressed hand across his brow. "And you know I can't use 99.9% of that, because it would be classed as porn."
"I know, buddy." Josh replied mischievously, "I'm sorry, it just got really weird up here for a minute there."
Immediately, he looked over at you. "Not weird like...I wanted to do it. I wanted to do it when I met you this morning, truth be told."
Chris turned off the camera. Clearly conflicted.
"I can't lie guys, that was some of the hottest shit I've ever seen. I would love nothing more than to include it in the movie. I really would. It was...intense. The way you both looked at each other, shit you had me believing you were honestly in love."
You felt slightly smug.
"So, I'm not fired?" You asked, feeling Josh's cum against your thighs, like a memory you weren't ready to let go of.
"No, you're far from fired." Chris replied, laughing a little as he shook his head and started setting up the replacement camera. "However, you are going to have to get yourselves cleaned up and do this again. But...for pretend this time...I can't believe I'm actually saying this."
You didn't want to move. Even as Josh unashamedly tossed you a new robe, you could feel yourself wanting to die a little inside. Chris didn't even flinch as Josh got up, kissing you on the lips as he left.
"I'm so fucking embarrassed." You sighed, trying to put the robe on without Chris getting an eyeful of everything he'd already seen.
"Ah, don't be." He replied, "Josh was never a wallflower. Even in college. He liked a fucking audience, I don't know why I expected anything less when I asked him to do this."
"So... he's done this before?" You dared to ask, wrapping yourself in the soft towelling and rising from the bed.
Chris was clearly amused. "From what I saw behind the scenes, I think he might have taken his lead from you? It doesn't really matter. But for what it's worth, no. He's never done this before."
"Oh." You replied, a wave of something you had no name for blooming in your chest.
"Go and get some lunch and be ready to do this again....sort of...in an hour. Ok?" He instructed.
"Ok." You replied, padding off towards the dressing room in the direction Josh had gone in.
The End.

For @elmonstro . Inspiration hit after our convo about potential Witcher Yule traditions and went in a weird direction 😂.
Aiden and Lambert are both oblivious, pining idiots and the other Kaer Morhen residents have had enough.
Implied, non graphic smut under the cut:
"It's mistletoe." Lambert stated like he was talking to a small child when he caught Aiden staring at it yet again with a slightly perplexed look on his face. The other Witcher elbowed him in the ribs as he rolled his eyes.
"I know what it is, Wolf. What I'm wondering is why you've just got random spriggs of it hanging over various thresholds this year."
"Jaskier's idea, probably." Lambert shrugged
"That still doesn't really tell me why." Aiden prompted when Lambert refused to elaborate. The Wolf could feel himself growing flustered. Explaining would lead his mind down a path he'd been trying to steer clear of for years.
"Yule tradition." Eskel piped up and thank the gods! Lambert wanted to hug his brother in that moment, "You're supposed to stay trapped under it until somebody kisses you." He continued, not looking up from his book...Lambert was going to reorganise everything in his brother's room, "And you were right, Lambert. Jaskier thought it would be fun."
"Of course he fucking would." Lambert grumbled under his breath. This was going to be a long and torturous winter.
It started out well enough. Aiden had discovered that Jaskier - typically - was happy with any form of physical affection bestowed on him, Eskel was happy to exchange friendly pecks on the cheek (as was Geralt, surprisingly), Vesemir's facial expression alone had warned everyone present that if they tried to kiss him, there'd be consequences, a brief hug however, was acceptable. It was the same with Yennefer, although it was becoming more of a thing to kiss her hand after Jaskier had done it as a joke and hadn't been blasted through the wall for his trouble and all of this was done with a smile and a laugh. Apart from when it came to Lambert.
No matter where or when, as soon as those two found themselves trying to pass through the same doorway it was like watching a couple of adolescents, the both of them turning into stuttering messes both reeking of anxiety as they brushed barely there kisses to each others cheeks before dashing off in opposite directions like their backsides were on fire. It would have been funny if it wasn't so painful to watch.
"Idiots. They are both idiots." Yennefer stated after having just watched Lambert staring longingly after Aiden when he left to help Vesemir bring some things up from the cellar, with Aiden doing likewise when Lambert left to see to a couple of things in his lab.
"Love truly is fucking blind." Jaskier groused from his perch in Geralt's lap, "I was sure the mistletoe would give them that teeny tiny push, you know?"
Yennefer patted his knee consolingly, "Oh it still will, little bard."
Eskel peered up at her suspiciously from where he'd had his head buried in his arms in despair at the situation, "What are you planning, Yenn?"
The witch said nothing as she took a dainty sip of wine.
"Aiden? Yennefer said you needed help with something."
"Awfully nice, considering I think it's Yennefer who's responsible."
Lambert looked down at Aiden, who was sat cross-legged on the floor just inside the doorway to the room he used whenever he accompanied Lambert in the winter, elbow resting on his knee as he propped his chin on his hand, "....I'm failing to see the problem."
Aiden got to his feet, pointed to draw Lambert's attention to the all too familiar plant above his head and made to take a step forward. Magic shimmered as it blocked him before his foot had even hit the ground, the same thing happening when he tried to take a step back further into the room, "Looks like she decided to take the trapped part of this literally."
Lambert groaned internally, "What about Jaskier, or Eskel? Can't they-"
"Offended." Aiden snorted, "And no, they all tried and no change. There's only you left."
"Offended."
"Well, maybe I've been saving the best for last. Now get over here and help your best friend."
All of Aiden's bravado vanished when Lambert moved into his space, close enough to feel his body heat, smell the slight nerves - but not close enough to touch, with Lambert's gaze settling on Aiden's ear.
"So should I, uhm -" he stuttered,
"Same as always?" Aiden asked, voice sounding only slightly steadier than Lambert's.
They both hastily brushed lips against offered cheeks - the quicker this was done, the quicker they could forget about it. Aiden once again tried to take a step into his room while Lambert made to back out into the corridor.
"Are you kidding me!?" Aiden bit out alongside Lambert's growl of "Yennefer!" as both of them were stopped in their tracks.
"Fucking great. Now what?" Lambert asked, running a hand through his hair.
"Maybe we did it too quickly?" Aiden suggested.
Lambert nodded in agreement, that seemed a perfectly logical explanation. They repeated the kiss, lingering this time, neither of them mentioning the spike in the scents of anxiety and the slightly quickened breathing of the other. Still nothing.
"Well, I'm out of ideas." Lambert leaned against the doorframe
"...I don't think I am."
"Hmm?"
Lambert wrinkled his nose at the nervousness now coming off Aiden in waves, the Cat looking more scared than Lambert had ever seen him.
"Aiden, are you-"
"Shut up. Just...please don't hate me for this."
Before Lambert could say anything else a hesitant kiss was pressed to his lips, his body stiffening on reflex.
Aiden pulled away as soon as he felt the other sieze up, "I'm sorry. I thought that maybe if...I don't actually know what I thought."
Lambert grasped Aiden's chin and repeated the same chaste kiss, only lingering a couple of seconds before pulling away and finally looking Aiden in the eye.
They collided with one another, Aiden's hands fisting in the front of Lambert's shirt while Lambert yanked him in with a hand on the back of his neck, both opening up to one another at the first hint of probing tongue. Lambert's hands travelled down, down, down to press lightly on the back of Aiden's thighs, the Cat getting the hint immediately and giving a little hop so he could wrap his legs around Lambert's waist. The Wolf moaned as Aiden's skillful fingers started making a mess of his hair as he rolled his hips while Lambert shamelessly groped Aiden's ass as he supported his weight.
It wasn't until Lambert's knees hit the bed he realised that they were now fully inside Aiden's room - quickly followed as he lowered them both onto the mattress by the realisation that they should probably close the door. He gave a deep chuckle as he felt Aiden pause in his efforts to apparently just rip Lambert's shirt clean off him and make a quick motion behind his head, closely followed by the sound of a door slamming.
"Hey." Lambert said softly. Aiden cracked an eye open to peer at him from where he'd been dozing in the strip of sunlight that fell oh so conveniently across Lambert's chest "What did you mean earlier before you - when you asked me not to hate you?"
"I thought that would have been obvious." Aiden sighed, propping himself up, "You always smelled like you were about two seconds away from bolting whenever we got caught under that fucking plant. I thought the idea of doing anything like that with me made you uncomfortable, so I kept quiet."
"Like you didn't smell exactly the same." Lambert rebuffed, tweaking Aiden's nose, "I never said anything because I thought it made you uncomfortable, otherwise I would have dragged you to bed years ago."
Aiden grinned, sliding up Lambert's body so they were face to face, hovering over him "Yeah?"
Lambert nodded, running his hands over the others ribs, "Oh yeah. There'd be no doubts about whether you were mine or not. They'd smell me all over you."
"Oh, so I'm yours now am I?" Aiden purred
"As much as I'm yours?"
Aiden gave him a couple of quick pecks, "I like the sound of that."
Without warning, he rolled off Lambert and leaned over the side of the bed, digging through his clothes before holding the sprigg of mistletoe triumphantly - he must have grabbed it off the doorframe when Lambert was distracted - before proudly placing it on the headboard.
"You're fucking ridiculous." Lambert laughed as he moved to get up and get something so they could clean themselves up. He was stopped by Aiden grabbing onto his arm.
"Ah ah ah, we're under the mistletoe. You know the rule."
Lambert made a show of rolling his eyes before leaning in and very quickly deciding that getting clean could wait.

"I love her."
— pairing: commander ray cushing x handmaid!reader
— type: part of a series
— summary: ray's wife catches the two of you together & her husband has a disturbing conversation with her afterward
— tw: sex, misogyny, threats, threatening behavior, domestic violence, religion
— word count: 1,629
Tumblr media
Colleen's heart drops and bile immediately rises to the surface as her breath catches in her throat when she opens the door to Ray's study just a crack.
She'd known.
She has all along. Since that first ceremony. But admitting it...she knows it would've broken her long ago to do so.
The way he'd looked at you as you'd finished with him still inside of you that night... How quickly he'd followed along immediately after...
And then there had been the things he'd said to her in their bedroom afterward—screaming at her about how much of a failure she was as both a woman and wife. How she would either behave willingly, or he would put her in her place—one way or another. That she was to treat you accordingly or else.
There'd been no love or warmth or tenderness in his eyes as he berated her that night. As he threw a vase he'd bought her for their tenth wedding anniversary against a wall without a second thought. She had wondered whether he even remembered giving it to her; whether he recalled that day. If he cared in the least.
As he stood in the doorway, about to leave, her a sobbing mess on the floor, he'd paused and she had looked up—still stupidly hopeful for an apology, some miniscule moment of tenderness or regret from him.
Instead, he'd merely said "make sure you clean that up, you know how I despise messes", before leaving.
She knows where he'd gone. To you.
Always to you.
He now takes stock of all her shortcomings, holding you up against her in comparison, and you always came away the better candidate for his affection and desire.
Younger, prettier, sweeter, more agreeable and submissive, softer, more slender, a lovely doll for him to sit on a shelf and pluck off of it when the mood hits him. And while you've not yet conceived—if you do...fertile.
She's caught him more than once staring at you, sometimes with a small smile on his lips, a loving look in his eyes.
She'd eavesdropped one day from outside the dining room as he spoke to you quietly over your lunch, telling you how beautiful you looked that day, how he'd missed you dearly while away on business—the whole time during which she'd banished you to your room (she wishes she could do so always, so as to lessen the temptation of you for him, but he made clear early-on that you're not to be kept prisoner in there), told you he'd gotten you a present—something he'd not even done for her, and then ended the conversation with something whispered quietly in your ear.
She'd peered around the corner just in time to catch him gripping your chin, pressing a soft kiss to your jaw, then brushing one along your lips.
He'd practically melted at the feel of you, she could see it.
He'd once been like that with her. Had put her on a pedestal. Spoiled her with love and affection and sex and nice things. But then came the day they began trying to conceive and, as each month passed with nothing to show for it, he pulled further away from her.
She still remembers the night he'd lost his erection in the middle of the act.
He stopped looking at her during sex after that.
Not long after, stopped telling her "I love you", even if she never did. Until their first handmaid.
She'd been thankful he'd shown little interest in her. It'd given her hope that she still held his heart. That maybe he still didn't look at other women. Even one of you. A handmaid. A whore.
But the day Aunt Lydia had brought you, she'd glanced between the two of you. You'd been oblivious to him. Meanwhile, his eyes had studied every inch of you—she knew he'd been pleased with the replacement that had been delivered.
She'd caught him adjusting himself in the hall after you'd been sent to your room, and she knew then that she finally had something to well and truly worry about.
She tried to tell herself that it didn't matter how much he desired you in this way or that. They'd taken vows, and divorces are strictly prohibited in Gilead. So, he can hate her all he wishes, but they're forever bound. She's safe because of that.
But seeing this—it fills her with terror.
You're naked atop Ray's desk, only thigh-high stockings on your legs.
His left hand cups the back of your head, holding you against him—your cheek pressed against his shoulder. His other is wrapped around your waist, holding you close, your right arm slung over his shoulder, other hand gripping the edge of the desk.
Your back is turned to her, but he's facing the direction of the double-doors.
His shirt is unbuttoned, pants around his ankles as he fucks you.
You struggle to keep your right leg lifted, wrapped around his backside, the other hanging off the edge of the desk.
His skin slaps against yours as he grunts and moans, you whimpering, quietly saying his name, telling him how good you feel.
He's looking down at you, eyes full of lust and desire and awe. He kisses you passionately, then pulls away and doesn't even pause when he spots his wife watching from the doorway, hands covering her mouth, tears streaming down her cheeks in humiliation and heartbreak.
He just keeps bucking his hips against you, holding you tighter to him.
"That's it, just like that, my love," he says, his voice gravely.
He presses a firm kiss to your forehead, staring at her.
She shuts the doors, running to find a toilet to expel into.
Tumblr media
It's over an hour later before Ray comes into her bedroom. He doesn't bother knocking, either.
She's lying on the bed, staring up at the ceiling, feeling utterly numb. She wants to kill him. Or maybe die herself. Perhaps both. A murder-suicide is an interesting idea.
Maybe double-murder.
He stands at the foot of the bed, arms behind his back, form relaxed.
She doesn't look at him.
"You will tell no one of what you saw tonight."
She snorts. "Or what?"
A muscle in his jaw feathers. He needs to be precise about this. He will not allow anyone to come between the two of you. He won't live without you now. Refuses to even entertain the idea.
"You know how creative Gilead is, and can be, when it comes to punishing unruly women."
"Is that meant to frighten me? Because you think I have anything left to lose now?"
He's silent for a moment.
"How do you think it will end? Hm? She and I on the Wall and you...remarried? No. They send widowed wives to the Colonies. Or were you not aware?"
She shoots up in bed then.
He smirks, briefly. "Apparently not. You do realize you have no use to Gilead outside of either being a mother—an opportunity that will become null the moment I'm dead—and cleaning up toxic waste. Right?"
She stares at him with loathing and contempt. She's just as trapped as you.
No.
More-so now, clearly.
At least you now have someone who loves you. You've taken that from her. Taken everything.
He sighs, continuing. "You will either give me assurance that you will continue to behave, or I will have your tongue cut out, so as to remove the threat of her being taken from me."
She begins shaking from the anger that fills her then.
"For what? Have it cut out for what? If anyone deserves to have theirs removed, it's that disgusting whore. I can only imagine where she'd had it."
He shrugs. "Wherever I've desired it. To answer your question, however, it won't be difficult to make something up. You don't need to be able to speak to feed, and clothe, and hold a baby, Colleen."
She grows silent. Then looks down to her hands. "What happened to us?"
She looks up at him with fresh tears in her eyes.
His jaw twitches.
She scoots closer to the edge of the bed. "Ray—"
"Don't."
Her mouth snaps shut.
"I love her."
Her face crumples.
She knows.
But hearing it come from his mouth...
"You can't keep her. Once she's given me my baby, I'll finally be rid of her."
He remains silent.
"It will never be your baby, Colleen. She will always be its mother. Will always be the woman who gave me the greatest gift from God, which you never could. Never will. No matter what the future holds for us, I'm not coming back to you. And every time I look at my child, I will see her face. And I will remember how you failed me."
Her chin wobbles.
He shakes his head. "I never thought I would wish to remarry. A pity it's not permitted now... If only I had met her before."
"Well, you didn't. So I guess you're just as fucking stuck with me as I am with you, you impotent—"
He quickly steps toward her, hand shooting out, wrapping around her throat, squeezing hard enough to prevent her from speaking further.
He leans down, his face inches from her own—eyes burning with rage, his lip sneered. "If you ever speak to me in such a disrespectful and vulgar way again, it will be the last. Am I clear?"
She whimpers, now frightened.
"Am. I. Clear."
She nods tersely, and he releases her.
She stutters, coughing, dragging in ragged breaths, her body now shaking. He never put his hands on her before. Ever.
She watches as he exits the room, slamming the door behind him.

"if you consider me such a pest," there'd be a smile coating the ghost king's words, silver jewelry dangling from red threads as hand would reach out and adjust a stray lock of the royal heir's hair. "how come you keep answering when i call for you ? are you a masochist ? or is there something ..."
twirling the loose strand around his finger, hua cheng could almost feel his heart ache at the striking resemblance of past lost; "... pleasant in how i utter your name? "
Tumblr media
❝ ━ it's the latter actually. i'm not sure why, but the sound of my name in your mouth, ❞ he shrugs as if it doesn't matter, but it bothers him. for no one else would dare call upon him needlessly, and yet mùyáng answered like some lost puppy heeding the call. it's infuriating but also, some part of him wonders the crux of it all. hàoyǔ hadn't been like this, he'd been cheeky and arrogant but he'd also been greedy and cruel, so it hadn't been easy to bury his blade in the man's chest, because to mùyáng the conflicting feelings nearly stayed his hand plenty of times. ❝ ━ it's thrilling, like experiencing that first pain, then continuing to be exposed to it until you're addicted. so yes, i suppose i am a masochist. ❞

the dragon knows it would've been easier to say that hua cheng is shiny and he simply was entertained by his presence, but his tongue seems to loosen when in the ghost king's presence. so did it really matter ? gaze averted, brows furrowing. ❝ ━ besides, even a pest has it's uses. just because i consider you to be so, whose to say that you're allowed to leave and not entertain me ? ❞
a smirk plays at the corners of his mouth , turning his gaze back to hua cheng's, fingers playing with silver jewelry, ❝ ━ maybe my answer is bullshit and we're both just playing at being fools. so tell me, why are you always calling upon me ? am i just as entertaining to you or am i someone you simply want to be a pest to because you've nothing better to do ? ❞ / @avaere

'Loki' Star Sophia Di Martino on the Season 1 Finale, Working With Jonathan Majors and What She Knows About Season 2
[Editor's note: The following contains spoilers through the Season 1 finale of Loki, "For All Time. Always."]
Tumblr media
Since her introduction at the end of Episode 2, Sophia Di Martino's depiction of Sylvie, the female variant of Loki introduced midway through her campaign of vengeance against the TVA, has been a defining aspect of Disney+'s Loki. And, as we learned in the season finale, the story of Loki isn't over yet — though what's in store is pretty nebulous, following Sylvie's betrayal of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after what was their first and what might be their last kiss.
In a one-on-one conversation with Di Martino via Zoom, Collider asked about working with Jonathan Majors in his MCU debut, what it was like having both fight scenes and more romantic scenes with Hiddleston, and of course what the conversations around Season 2 have been like.
Collider: To start off, when did you have a sense that there would be a second season of Loki?
DI MARTINO: I mean, there'd been rumors for a while, but I still haven't heard officially if it's happening, like officially, officially. I only know what I know through reading the news. And I know, because you guys know, because of the tag at the end of Episode 6.
I was going to say, that feels like a pretty official thing, but it doesn't sound like anyone has shown up at your doorstep with paperwork.
DI MARTINO: No, nothing. Nothing like that.
Now, does that mean that when you watched it, were you given a full script of the sixth episode?
DI MARTINO: Yes. We got one episode at a time. So I wasn't given Episode 6 until like midway through shooting Episode 5.
So in that situation, what was your initial reaction to reading, especially like the last, say, 10 pages or so.
DI MARTINO: Just like, holy crap. This is massive. How exciting. Woof. And then also, "who's going to play He Who Remains, I need to know because it's such an amazing part and such incredible speeches he has. I wanted to imagine who would play him, but I couldn't have ever imagined the way Jonathan would have done it. So brilliant.
Tumblr media
In terms of working with Jonathon Majors, what was that experience like? Just because I feel like he brought such a different energy to the role than I think anyone would have ever expected.
DI MARTINO: Yeah. He just exploded onto that set with so much energy and nothing like we could ever have imagined. It was a lot of fun and he was brilliant. You know, people were saying this is going to be something really special, whispering behind the camera. He was so eccentric and fun and kind of terrifying. Very easy for Tom and I to just sit and listen to him for a few days. Very entertaining.
Yeah. In rewatching the episode, it's still so striking to me the way that, after Sylvie stabs him, he makes barely any noise.
DI MARTINO: Because he knows that it's a possibility, I think. So maybe he's had a long time to sort of imagine every scenario. Yeah. It's kind of creepy, isn't it? The way he does that.
When you were breaking down the script for Episode 6, were you talking about Kang the Conqueror? Were you talking about the comic book backstory there?
DI MARTINO: I don't remember talking about the comic book backstory of Episode 6. But you know, to be honest, it was all very quick. Especially with Episode 6, we got the script pretty late in the day. So there wasn't that much mining to be done, to be honest. I'm not sure about Jonathan's experience, but for me, it was sort of pretty late in the day, just in the case of learning my lines and trying to make sure I didn't mess that up.
Of course — and it makes sense in terms of where your character is coming from.
DI MARTINO: Exactly. So I just need to know at that point, I just need to know what's going on for Sylvie.
In that case, in your head, what was going on for Sylvie in those scenes?
DI MARTINO: Oh my goodness. So much. I mean, so much happens in like 30 seconds. Doesn't it?
Definitely. But even before the final sequences, it's very dialogue-heavy and there's a lot of listening. In playing that, what was important for you?
DI MARTINO: To really listen and to really take on board what he was saying to us at that point, and then to choose not to believe him. For Sylvie, she's just on a revenge mission from the minute she walks into that building, she knows that she wants to kill someone. When they're in the elevator with him, she's already taking swipes at him. She just wants to get him with her machete. And I think she's just so laser-focused on that goal, that he could have said anything to her and her priority wouldn't have changed.
So you don't think there was ever a moment in that whole sequence where Sylvie was tempted, not tempted by the possibilities presented, but tempted to believe him?
DI MARTINO: I think there's a moment that he really pushes Sylvie's buttons when he's talking about you have been on a long journey and it's been really tough for you, hasn't it? And you can't trust anyone. You think you can trust him. And he starts playing mind games with them, playing them off against each other. And I think at that point, he plants a seed of doubt in her mind about Loki, but I think her mission to want to kill him doesn't change. She's absolutely married to that idea. And that feeling is so strong that she chooses it over Loki in the end.
Tumblr media
From your perspective, where does that come from?
DI MARTINO: Just revenge. Like having her life taken away from her, her life ruined, spending her whole life on the run, this sort of anger. And if you want to think of it in these terms, her "glorious purpose." I went there.
I don't think you got to say those words during the show, so I'm glad you got this moment now.
DI MARTINO: Yeah. I'm saying it as much as I can now.
Later in the episode, this wasn't the first time you had a fight sequence with Tom Hiddleston, but did it feel different from the episodes you shot earlier?
DI MARTINO: Yeah, it did. This scene was far more emotive. There was a lot more going on for both of them. It was the breakup scene. It was the fight that you have when you are leaving someone. And it's so painful because you care about this person, but you just can't be with them for whatever reason. And that's how that felt.
Which is so interesting because of course what happens at the end of it is that there's a kiss and it's given the whole big Hollywood romantic music treatment.
DI MARTINO: Yeah. I mean, but that often happens when you're splitting up with someone, doesn't it? Just one last time, a sweet goodbye. It's kind of like a goodbye kiss in a way.
Of course. But it was also, unless I'm missing something, the first kiss.
DI MARTINO: Yeah. It was. And it had been building up for a long, long time. I think it was ultimately a goodbye kiss and a clap away for Sylvie to physically turn him around so she could get hold of that TemPad and zap him back to the TVA.
Tumblr media
Yeah, of course. In terms of that, in general, I feel like there's a temptation to just kind of look at the Loki and Sylvie relationship as a straightforward romance, which of course it is very much not. From your perspective, what was it about that you worked hard to lean into.
DI MARTINO: I think it's about sort of self-love and acceptance as well as being a romance story. And for Sylvie, she's sort of shedding everything she doesn't need before she gets to He Who Remains so she can kill him. She gets rid of her cape, she gets rid of her horns. She ultimately gets rid of Loki. It's just not serving her in that moment. And it's so cold to think of it that way. But I think that's what was happening. That and the fact that she wanted him to be safe. So, she's kind of saving him by pushing him through that time door as well.
And if you're going to think of it as like an exploration of self-acceptance and self-love, that's also interesting because she showed sort-of, I don't know, getting rid of a part of herself that isn't serving her anymore at the same time as keeping it safe.
It's really interesting to hear you talk about it that way, because it makes me think about how the one thing that came out, especially I think in Episode 5, is the idea that knowing Sylvie made Loki a better person in some fundamental ways. And I'm wondering about the opposite of that. What did knowing Loki mean for Sylvie?
DI MARTINO: I think it's slightly different for Sylvie. I don't know if he's made her a better person. I don't know if she's allowed herself to change yet. Loki's been quite brave and he's changed. He's a changed person by the end of that series. Sylvie is still hell-bent on her mission and she still chooses it over caring about someone else. So maybe she's yet to make that change.
So in talking about the scene like it's a breakup... Season 1 ends with the characters being very separated and of course, Season 2 is very much a nebulous thing at the moment, but people break up all the time and get back together. In your head, do you see there being still some sort of future for the characters as a couple?
DI MARTINO: It would definitely be fun to see them in the same room together again, wouldn't it? I'm fascinated. Yeah. After that, I'm fascinated to see what Loki has to say to Sylvie after doing that to him. Who knows? Never say never. I'm really excited to see what they come up with because it could go in so many different directions, but surely they have to come face to face again at some point.
It's like that awkward party after you've broken up with someone and you see them again. And that first conversation, whether it's in public or not, it's sorts of awful, but such a relief once it's been done.

Something that's been kind of a topic of discussion when it comes to talking about romance on screen is a quality that a lot of leading men have — for lack of a better term, the ability to give their love interest a Look. I've consulted with others and we feel like Tom Hiddleston has the look or has the ability to deliver the look. And I'm curious what it's like to be on the other side of it.
DI MARTINO: Tom's a very charming man and he could definitely make people go weak at the knees by just giving them a look. My reaction to that is always to sort of make a joke and run away. So there was probably a lot of that on set, breaking the tension by being a goofball.
I just had to react as Sylvie. And Sylvie's got these walls up. She doesn't let anyone in and that includes Loki. So sure there's a sort of, oh, this person is not as I thought they were. I'm warming to them. But Sylvie's not an easy nut to crack.
Is it fun getting to play that kind of strength?
DI MARTINO: Yeah. It's awesome because when her defenses do come down and she's vulnerable, it's really interesting. And you start to see all of the stuff that's buried underneath and that's what makes her a great character to play.
Tumblr media
So, how do you feel about there being a second season? Do you feel like if there hadn't been a second season, you would have gotten the closure you wanted to from the story?
DI MARTINO: Probably not. I want to know what happens just like everyone else. I'm super excited and I just can't wait to see which direction they're going because it could be infinite directions.
Do you have a sense that there might've been different aspects to it, had COVID not been an issue?
DI MARTINO: I think COVID actually probably made it a lot better. We had a five months hiatus and Kate and the producers and writers worked a lot on episodes five and six during that time. And as far as I've heard, a lot changed for the better. They could rewatch what we'd already shot and just carry on working on the scripts and developing them. So I think it was great to have that time actually, as awful in most ways it was, that was the silver lining of it.
Very. Yeah. So looking forward, I imagine if there's a second season, you're on board if you get asked.
DI MARTINO: Hopefully. Hope so.
By the way, I was really excited to see the story about how your costume was designed to allow you to breastfeed during shooting. That seems like it was a really special detail.
DI MARTINO: Yeah, really, really. I'm just so grateful that that happened. It made my life so much easier and it was important to me that I carried on doing that. So it was just the little things and it's just saved a lot of time. Practically, it was a godsend.
Tumblr media
Of course. So looking forward, what's next for you?
DI MARTINO: Lots of interviews. Lots of being able to talk about episode six finally, and then, who knows? An infinite possibility. So yeah, I'm excited to see what happens and to see people's reactions to the series because people are still catching up. People are still watching and rewatching it and probably go on.
Yeah. I mean, I imagine that you're going to be cosplayed at various conventions over the next several decades probably.
DI MARTINO: Do you think? That blows my mind.
I mean, cosplaying has a long legacy to it.
DI MARTINO: It's so cool. The way that people are already making Sylvie horns and crafting them from scratch and spraying them. And there's one woman that's just sewn a whole suit together and it looks exactly like my costume. It's so impressive, the love and attention people put into it.
Are you getting an action figure?
DI MARTINO: I don't know. Hopefully. What would I do with it? Maybe I could use it as a cake topper. Who knows? But that would be a very cool thing to have, wouldn't it?

MAKE OVER
Chapter 16: New Year’s Eve | FINAL
Jung Hoseok x Reader
Reader as Kang Hyeonji
SUMMARY: When Kang Hyeonji transformed herself into a striking redhead, the entire male population of Seoul stood up and took notice. But her make over was for Jung Hoseok’s benefit alone. He began to show interest in the new look but not in the way she wanted. Suddenly he was over-protective, perhaps a little jealous. It seemed that the idea of having a relationship with her couldn’t be further from his mind. The girl however wants more. So it was time for an ultimatum. If Hoseok didn’t want Hyeonji to lose her virginity to another admirer, he had no option but to make love to her himself.
Tumblr media
The party was in full swing, a large motley collection of people having gathered in the Jung's house to celebrate New Year's Eve, plus the engagement of Hoseok to his long-time girlfriend slash next door neighbor, Kang Hyeonji.
As the glamorous guest of honor, the happy couple were dressed for the part. The proud groom-to-be was resplendent in stylish Balenciaga navy trousers, an open neck Gucci blue shirt and a suave cream silk sports jacket by Supreme. is bride-to-be was stunning in a strapless party dress of emerald satin by Chanel, with an even more stunning emerald and gold choker gracing her elegant neck. It had been a Christmas present from her adorning fiance, one of many he'd lavished on her during the past year.
Hoseok had, in fact spoiled Hyeonji rotten with gifts of expensive clothes and jewelry, not to mention his myriad smaller purchases of chocolates, flowers and perfume. He'd taught her to drive in his precious car, and would've bought him a new car if she'd let him. Then there were the fantasy getaways he'd taken her on, weekends here and there at romantic places designed to seduce and soften even the hardest of hearts. Not that Hyeonji was a hard girl. Hoseok knew she wasn't.
But she'd been surprisingly difficult to win, he'd found to his consternation. He'd never been quite sure of her feelings. She'd keep him dangling, had often been late for dates, and had sometimes even dared to cancel them. He'd never quite known where he stood with her, which had been both irritating and intriguing. Only in the love making department had he been sure of his domination over her. There, she was a putty in his hands, melting at his touch, quick to be aroused and always willing, no matter how often he wanted her, or where.
She'd never said no, even when there;d been some danger of being discovered. His choosing precarious places, such as behind rocks at the beach or in a sparsely filled movie theater - had sometimes soothed the sense of emotional insecurity she instilled in him, he'd almost felt loved. There'd been no doubt she craved him sexually; could not deny him. But was that love?
Till Christmas Day, when he'd produced an engagement ring for her which would have done Elizabeth Taylor proud. It was huge brilliant-cut yellow Argyle diamond, set in white gold. But it had been his words as he'd given it to her that had seemed to do the trick. "This cost me a fortune, Hyeonji," he said. "But a fortune means nothing to me without you. Marry me, my darling. I love you so much and I think you love me. You don't have to say you do if you don't want to but it would be nice, just once, to hear it from your lips."
Hyeonji had stared at him and then burst into tears. He gathered her to him and heard the words he'd been dying to hear all year. "Of course I love you. Don't you know that yet? I love you, Hoseok. With all of my heart, I love you. I love you..."
He looked over at her now across the crowded living room and caught her eye. She smiled at him, brown eyes sparkling. It wasn't so much different from the smiles she'd given him before, but tonight he saw the love in them. Why hadn't he seen it before? Hoseok was about to walk across the room to join her when someone tapped him on the elbow.
"Hello, you gorgeous hunk, you. If I wasn't married, you know, I'd given Hyeonji a run for her money." It was Choon Hee, from the library. One of Hyeonji's best friends.
Hoseok smiled "You would have to be good."
Choon Hee nodded up and down. "You're right. Hyeonji's a grand girl and I'm very happy for her. You don't know how lucky you are."
"Oh, I think I do..."
"She's loved you for so long, you know." says Choon Hee
Hoseok was about to say he didn't know at all when he stopped himself. It was then he realized Choon Hee was off in another world, smiling at something in her head.
"I can still remember the day she came into the library and told me about Mr X. You must remember Mr X, Hoseok," she added, glancing up at him.
"Only too well," Hoseok said dryly, and he lifted the glass he was holding to his lips.
Choon Hee chuckled. "I nearly cracked up when she told me about him, especially when she said you hadn't twigged. I mean...you have to admit it's very funny, but rather typical of men, not seeing beyond their nose. But I dare say you've laughed together about it since."
"Laughed about what?"
"About you being Mr X, of course."
Hoseok's drink froze midway to his mouth. He stared at Choon Hee over the glass. She grimaced, then groaned. "Oh, dear heaven, you didn't know. I always assumed she'd told you. Oh Lord!"
Hoseok could hardly think. He was Mr X. His head spun with the news, and all it implied. Hyeonji had loved him all along. But she'd also lied to him, laughed at him, manipulated him. She'd been a schemer, as Tinashe had warned she was. He recoiled at his thought, and his feelings showed on his face.
"Don't you dare take that attitude," Choon Hee warned.
"Dont you DARE! That girl loves you. No, she adores and worships you. Always has done. But did you ever see it? Not on your nelly! You sailed on through your glamorous privileged life, tossing her a few crumbs from your table when it suited you. You didn't give a fig for her feelings. You took her for granted and you broke her heart."
"But that's not..."
"Oh, shut up and listen!" Choon Hee snapped. "So what if she protected her self-esteem by inventing Mr X? So what if she had some fun with it? She'd had little enough fun in her life at that point in time. Give credit where credit is due, Hoseok. When she saw her chance she went after what she wanted. She changed for you, lied for you, fought for you. And she won you, by God - won your love and your respect. Look at her, Hoseok. She's beautiful and very brave woman; a woman in a million. Don't you dare tell her I told you about Mr X. Don't take her pride. Go on letting her think you believe she once had a Mr X in her life, because maybe she needs that Maybe she...Oh my God, she's coming over. Promise me, Hoseok. Promise me, you won't tell her I told you."
"I promise Choon," he said faithfully. "And thank you...for making me finally see the light."
Hoseok watched the girl he loved walk towards them, a lovely smile on her lovely face. He felt humbled and incredibly moved as the full import of Choon Hee's words sank in. Hyeonji had always loved him. Oh, how cruel life could be sometimes. And how wonderful. He saw now why he loved her so much. Because she loved him so much. He must have sensed in it at some subconscious level, had known that to let her go would be the worst, most stupid thing he could ever do. He vowed now he'd never let her go. Never.
"What are you two sneaky devils talking about over here?" she asked, glancing from one to another. "You two were looking rather very serious, Choon Hee. You too love."
Hoseok's heart kicked over. Never had the word "love" on her lips sounded so sweet, or so touching. He wound his arm around her slender waist and pulled her against him. "We were having a very serious discussion on having children in this day and age, weren't we Choon?"
Choon Hee laughed. He could see the flicker of surprised pleasure in her eyes "I've been wanting to discuss children with you. I would like to have a baby quite soon, but I wasn't sure about you..."
No, he thought, understanding dawning. She still wasn't sure of him. It was a cruel legacy of all those years when he hadn't noticed her, hadn't wanted her. That's why she kept him unsure. She'd been protecting herself, had made him keep proving his love over and over. There was still a lot of work to be done, he realized, before she would feel totally secure in his love. But having children together would be a good start. He gave her a reassuring smile, and a loving squeeze.
Hyeonji gave a self-conscious laugh. "How about nine months after the wedding day?"
"How about six?" he returned, squeezing her again. The wedding date has been set in March.
"I think this conversation is getting too private for me," Choon Hee exited.
"Hoseok laughed "I like your Choon Hee. I think we'll ask her to be Godmother to our first child."
"Our...first child?"
"You don't honestly think we're going to have only one child, do you? Only children are notoriously spoiled."
"Yes, well..."
He kissed her. Then kissed her again. "Wanna get out of here?" he murmured
"Where?"
"Your room" Hoseok smirked.
Hyeonji sucked in a startled breath. "Mine? But it...it only has a single bed in it."
Hoseok took her hand and began drawing her from her room. "Single beds were just made for lovers." Hoseok loved her, Hyeonji, the simple, solid girl who'd always loved him. He would make sure she would never doubt it again, and he would never cause her to.
Midnight came with cheers and shouts, whistles and car horns. People spilled out of houses into the streets below. Everyone was kissing.
No one missed the guests of honor.
