Your posts about Cas's cars and also his tendency to go lone wolf and just leave for long periods of time and not communicate with Dean made me think again of how poignant it felt when they played Ballad Of A Truck Driver's Wife while Cas is off investigating the angel deaths in the diner in 12x15. I mean the lyrics "Six days a week you're gone, you leave your wife and kids at home, we play second fiddle to the truck you own. Just when we need you so, that's when you have to go, and that's how it is when you're married to a truck driver man" ??? and then towards the end the "we'll just be waiting for you here, and longing for you dear" it's so !!! like isn't that how it must be like for Dean, he's so frustrated because Cas leaving and not answering calls makes him so worried but Cas keeps doing it even when Dean tries to make him understand this. and Dean keeps longing for Cas to share home and heart with him, but based on the clues he has it seems that Cas doesn't see their relationship the same way and doesn't want to be with Dean like that, so waiting and longing is all he's left with T_T
